We begin in Philadelphia, where a hunt is underway for two teenagers accused of cutting short the promising life of a young college student. The Philadelphia Police Department has officially issued arrest warrants for two 16-year-old boys

in connection with the brutal June 6th murder of 22-year-old. Billy Schmidt. Authorities are currently withholding the suspect's names because they are minors who have not yet been taken into custody. Schmidt, a Penn State World Campus student, was walking home from an NBA finals watch party at around 1.30 a.m. when he was targeted in an armed robbery attempt. Responding officers found him with a critical gunshot wound to his chest. He was tragically pronounced dead at a local hospital at 1.47 a.m. Surveillance video captured Schmidt demanding, Give me my phone, moments before a gunshot rings out.

The video shows a man throwing a cell phone before another individual runs around a corner, pursued by Schmidt, who was then shot. Investigators describe the shooter as a black male between 5 foot 3 and 5 foot 5, wearing all dark clothing in a light gray camouflage face mask. The second suspect is 5 foot 8 with braids, wearing a light gray custom confused hoodie, featuring three skulls with crossbones and bejeweled halos. The U.S. Marshal Service has joined the search, offering a $5,000 reward. Speaking with Fox 59, Billy's father, Bill Schmidt, described the chaotic scene.

I'm still just shocked that this happened. He was chasing a kid who took the phone, and another kid came around and shot him. Schmidt was studying journalism and was set to. graduate this December. Penn State released a statement saying they are heartbroken over his tragic death and share their deepest condolences. Billy's sister, Anna Schmidt, expressed her profound grief to Fox 59. It's miss him so much, I don't understand how someone could do this to me and my family. And I think he's just going to walk into the door. I want justice for him, for my family.

An Idaho man who orchestrated a horrific campaign of hidden sexual violence will spend the rest of his life behind bars. 51-year-old Thomas Spencer was sentenced Wednesday by Judge Annie McDevitt to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 40 years after pleading guilty to rape.

The case began when the FBI alerted the Ada County Sheriff's Office to a telegram group, where members shared videos drugging and raping unconscious victims. Investigators received eight videos Spencer uploaded, assaulting the victim, later uncovering hundreds more on his phone. Evidence showed he distributed these recordings online since 2019. When detectives contacted the victim, she identified herself in the footage but had no memory of the assaults. She recalled waking up after wine with Spencer,

experiencing headaches and pain consistent with sexual assault and had previously confronted him over unconsented photos. Spencer openly bragged online using the victim's name in writing, Can't count how many times I've done that, while detailing how he drugged her. Judge Annie McDavitt condemned Spencer's actions as horrific, stating she didn't think there was a word strong enough to describe how egregious the behavior was. In a victim impact statement, the woman detailed years of emotional trauma, sleeplessness, and fear, asking the court to consider the lasting irreversible impact on her and her children. Ada County prosecutor Jan Bennett's praised her bravery, stating this wasn't a stranger who attacked in a moment of opportunity,

but someone she trusted completely, who chose to violate her again and again for entertainment. Bennett's added that the sentence sends a clear message that this conduct will not be tolerated. Finally, a gruesome discovery in Texas has led to the arrest of a woman and her father. 31-year-old Audrey Troncoso is behind bars on a $2 million bond, accused of shooting, stabbing and dismembering her live-in boyfriend, 34-year-old Ronald Matthew Shepard. The investigation began with an anonymous crime stoppers tip, alleging Troncoso killed Shepard, and threw his remains into an apartment dumpster. Police scrambled to intercept a trash truck on route to a landfill.

Inside, officers uncovered a trash bag full of clothes, a carpet covered with fresh blood, and a human torso with tattoos matching shepherds. A search warrant executed at Tronkoso's residence revealed an even more disturbing scene. More human remains were discovered inside tubs of wet concrete sitting in a vehicle in the driveway. During a police interview, Troncoso allegedly confessed to shooting Shepard in the face,

stabbing him, and using a saw and knives to dismember his body before mixing concrete to hide the parts. Her father, Mario Valdez Trancoso Jr., was arrested the following day and charged with evidence tampering, held on a $100,000 bond. Local police called it one of the most violent homicides in recent memory.
