Crime Alert, I'm Nancy Grace.
Breaking crime news now.
One of Jackson Pierce's roommates, Dalton Coleman,
is convinced one of his two roommates took some of his belongings.
Pierce, roommate number one, says he knows nothing of what Coleman's saying
and proposes they all talk about it when roommate number two gets home. But instead of
waiting, Dalton Coleman forces his way into Pierce's bedroom and the two exchange blows.
Roommate one Pierce reaches for a gun, shoots Coleman 15 times, then wraps the body in an air
mattress and shoves it in a closet. Nancy Pierce called the missing roommate twice during the
alleged confrontation,
wants to ask advice, and a second time to report he killed Coleman. The missing roommate immediately called 911, leading to the discovery of Coleman's body. Pierce had wrapped Coleman's head in a
plastic bag and tied the air mattress around his body with a lamp cord. Coleman was shot over a
dozen times. Pierce, now charged with murder too and tampering with evidence. A 42-year-old man
walks into a Leeds, Alabama Bass Pro Shop, strips naked and does a cannonball into the huge freshwater

and splashing around butt naked and showering in the waterfall. The man
eventually climbs over the edge of the aquarium and falls 10 feet to the floor. Well, he's facing

The mother of a teen who carried out a mass shooting at a Michigan school is scheduled to go on trial for involuntary manslaughter in an unprecedented attempt to hold his parents
criminally accountable for the four student murders. For more, we turn to Sydney Sumner

James and Jennifer Crumbly are not charged with knowing that their son intended to murder Oxford High School classmates in 2021. Prosecutors, however,
claim that on the day of the attack, they gave Ethan Crumbly access to a gun, disregarded his
mental health requirements, and refused to take him home after teachers noticed his violent
drawings at school. Assistant Prosecutor Joseph Shada stated in a court document
that involuntary manslaughter is, quote, well-defined for ages and its elements are
definite and plain, gross negligence causing death. In Oakland County Court, some 40 miles
north of Detroit, more than 200 people showed up to start the jury selection process for Jennifer
Crumbly's trial. In March, James Crumbly will go on trial. December saw Ethan enter a
guilty plea to charges of murder, terrorism, and other offenses. He received a life sentence.
The Crumblys are the first parents to face charges in a mass shooting at a U.S. school,
making their case noteworthy. Four days prior to the shooting, 47-year-old James Crumbly
undoubtedly purchased a revolver with Ethan by his side. The teenager
referred to it as, my new beauty. The boy went to a shooting range with 45 year old Jennifer
Crumbly, who said on Instagram that it was a mom and son day. A day before the shooting,
the school told Jennifer Crumbly that 15 year old Ethan was spotted on his phone looking at ammo.
She texted him saying, quote, I'm not mad and added, you have to learn not to get caught.
Oxford High School called the Crumblys a few hours prior to the incident.
On map homework, Ethan drew violent pictures with the caption, the thoughts won't stop,
help me. Investigators said that although the parents were instructed to get their son into
counseling, they refused to take him out of school and departed the campus in less than half an hour.
On November 30 30, 2021,
Ethan had carried a gun from home. No one at the school checked his backpack.
After killing four students and injuring an additional seven individuals,
the gunman turned himself in to police. The teen's parents have been unable to post a $500,000 bond,
so they have remained behind bars for more than two years as they await trial. In Michigan, the maximum term for involuntary manslaughter is 15 years in prison.
Rapper YFM Lucci has struck a plea agreement with prosecutors,
this almost three years after being charged with murder, gang, and racketeering in Atlanta.
Once again, Crime Online's Sydney Sumner.
Lucci has now entered a guilty plea to a gang-related felony. The rapper, whose real
name is Rayshawn Bennett, was one of 12 defendants included in a comprehensive indictment aimed at
suspected Bloods gang members in April of 2021. In January of that year, Lucci was charged with
murder by police, who claimed he was behind the wheel during a drive-by shooting involving a gang in which a man was killed. Bennett's attorneys say that as part of the
plea agreement, prosecutors dismissed 12 of the 13 charges against him, and he entered a guilty
plea to a single count of breaking the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. As a result of the
plea agreement, the rapper's attorneys say their client will be eligible for parole in as little as four months.
And the prosecution has agreed to release him early so that he can resume his career, family and children.
Reactions to the plea agreement were not immediately available from the office of Fulton County District Attorney Fonny Willis.
Thanks, John.
Alec Fishman plans to spend several weeks with a friend, books a two-leg flight to San Fran.
He makes it from Vegas to Denver, but misses the connecting flight to California. Instead of booking
a new flight, he takes a lift to the Econo Lodge and spends the night. He checks out the next
morning, leaves the hotel on foot, and that's the last time he's seen. His phone stays active two days, but dies. A month later, his phone pops up in Oakland, California.
But the person using it is impersonating Alec and refuses to explain where he got the phone.
Alec Fishman now missing four months.
