shard of glass to slit her wrist, then swallows a bottle of Benadryl. Her mom calls 911. Nancy,
Canales' daughter was pregnant at the time of the phone call, which was the subject of the majority

The dads of two children killed on February 14, 2018 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, gazed straight ahead and promptly departed the courtroom
as the verdicts were read.
Former Broward County Deputy Scott Peterson sobbed.
The jury had been in deliberations for 19 hours over the course of four days.
Peterson, Stoneman Douglas' campus deputy, was accused of failing to stop gunman Nicholas
Cruz during his six-minute rampage inside the three-story, 1,200-classroom
building, which resulted in 17 deaths. Now to New Jersey, where a political consultant hired
two hitmen to murder a co-worker in exchange for $15,000 has been given a 24-year federal prison
term. With more, here's Sydney Sumner with Crime Online. 45-year-old former campaign consultant Sean Cato admitted to planning to commit murder for hire
in the 2014 stabbing death of Michael Galdieri before setting his apartment on fire.
Judge John Michael Vasquez of the U.S. District Court expressed skepticism about Cato's admission of guilt,
saying it appeared as if he was trying to, quote,
save his own skin by working with investigators in a different tax
and wire fraud case that resulted in the guilty plea of a former top aide to the state senate
president. Prosecutors finally gave a motive for the hit during the last week of the trial.
Cato told them he wanted Galdieri dead because he was threatening to demand money in return for not
disclosing wrongdoing Galdieri claimed Cato committed through his political consulting
business. It's unknown exactly what the wrongdoings might have been or how much money
Galdieri is said to have requested. Attorneys for the family of a Virginia man have requested that
