Crime Alert. I'm Nancy Grace. Breaking crime news now. Daniel Coppola texts his daughter,
15, to come outside. He's picking her up from her mom, ex-wife, Kelly Coppola's, early. Instead of
leaving, though, Coppola has his daughter wait in the car while he goes inside. Coppola shoots
open the front door, finds his ex Kelly and her boyfriend Kenneth
Pullman in bed, and shoots the couple dead. Coppola then flees the scene with his terrified daughter.
Nancy Coppola told his daughter, I killed your mom and Kenny as they backed out of the driveway.
The teen was too scared to call 9-1-1 herself, but texted friends who did so on her behalf.
That's when police discovered the couple
shot to death. Then, Coppola's daughter calls 911 from her father's house, telling the operator
he's threatening to kill himself. Daniel Coppola, 50, tracked down to his home and arrested for
murder. Dr. Giovanni Balla sells his medical practice to a colleague, Dr. Dylan Dinesh.
After the sale, Balla is upset with how Dinesh is running the practice
and confronts him. In the middle of the night, Bala drives to his old office and pours gallons
of urine through the front door. Days later, Bala returns with even more urine. Bala's attacks are
caught on video, and the doctor is now charged with criminal mischief.

Now with the latest crime and justice breaking news, Crime Online's John Limley.
We begin in Hawaii, as a man arrested after a deadly confrontation in Waianae has been released from custody as authorities continue to investigate the case.
Here with more on this story, Sydney Sumner of Crime Online. Honolulu police confirmed that the
42-year-old man initially held on suspicion of second-degree murder was released pending further
inquiry. The Honolulu prosecutor's office will determine if any charges will be filed, this
according to police chief Joe Logan. The violent incident occurred
on the evening of August 31 in the West Oahu community of Waianae. Three women were killed
and two others were injured following an altercation between neighbors. The confrontation
escalated when a 58-year-old man using a front-end loader rammed vehicles into a family gathering at
a carport and opened fire. Police say that the 42-year-old resident of the home fatally shot the attacker in response. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those killed,
pending notification from the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office.
Philip Gannaban, chair of the Waianae Coast Neighborhood Board, expressed shock over the
event, saying he was familiar with both families involved. He described the 58-year-old man as a
family man who often rented out space on his
property for events. Ganniband noted that tensions may have arisen earlier in the evening over
concerns about people renting the space and reckless driving in the area. The investigation
into the incident is ongoing, and police have not disclosed any further details about the motive
or the contents of four 55-gallon drums the 58-year-old had with him during the attack.
The U.S. Justice Department has expanded its indictment against Russian operatives involved
in the Whispergate cyberattacks, targeting Ukraine and 26 NATO allies, including the
United States. Once again, Crime Online, Sidney Sumner.
The indictment names five Russian military intelligence officers accused of
orchestrating a cyber warfare campaign aimed at undermining Ukraine's stability just before
Russia's invasion. Whispergate, a destructive malware launched in January 2022, was described
by FBI Special Agent William DeBogno as Russia's opening act in the war against Ukraine. These
cyber attacks infiltrated not only Ukraine's defense-related systems,
but also critical civilian infrastructure, including the judiciary, emergency services,
food safety, and education sectors. Officials say the attacks reach beyond Ukraine,
impacting U.S. companies and other NATO allies. During a press conference in Baltimore,
Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olson emphasized that the indictment underscores the global reach of these operations. Also present was Maryland U.S. Attorney Eric Barron, who confirmed the federal
grand jury's indictment of military intelligence officers and one Russian civilian. The six
individuals are charged with conspiring to gain unauthorized access to the computers of Ukraine
and its allies. Though all are believed to remain in Russia, the U.S. government had issued rewards
totaling $60 million for information leading to their capture or evidence of further malicious cyber activity.
This investigation, dubbed Operation Toy Soldier, revealed that the accused committed fraud within the U.S. by illegally accessing bank accounts and exploiting an American company to unknowingly facilitate their crimes.
This according to Del Bagno. Although the
perpetrators remain at large, officials stress that the indictment is a significant step in
limiting their global mobility and exposing their cyber conspiracies. Thanks, John.
