Crime Alert, I'm Nancy Grace.
Breaking crime news now.
Diane Robinson, 36, lives with her brother, Dwayne, 34.
When ex-husband Kenneth Leachman can't get in touch with her,
he stops by their Vancouver home.
Brother Dwayne tells Leachman he killed his sister
because she's been poisoning him over a year.
Leachman wisely calls police.
Nancy Robinson used a hunting knife to repeatedly stab his sister in the chest as she ate in the kitchen.
Robinson then covered her body with a blanket, living with the corpse for days.
Robinson told cops he suffered, quote, depression, sadness, and pain because Diane poisoned him for years. Dwayne Robinson also admitted that he finished the food Diane was eating,
confident it wasn't tainted. Dwayne Robinson charged with first-degree
murder and the premeditated attack now held no bond. Martin Edimov, 36, surprises everyone inside
Fort Lauderdale International Airport when he casually strolls
through the terminal drunk and butt naked. Around 2 p.m., Edimov parks his car on the
sidewalk outside Terminal 1, breaches a TSA checkpoint. He doesn't go quietly when he's
approached by deputies and TSA, but eventually he's booked on multiple charges, including
battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly intoxication, and of course, indecent exposure.
The judge advises him to undergo mental health screening and stay away from alcohol and the airport while you're at it.
More crime and justice news after this.
Now with the latest crime and justice breaking news, Crime Online's John Limley.
In Los Angeles, a man accused of hijacking a felony charges, including carjacking, assault
with a semi-automatic handgun, robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office detailed these charges on Monday.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of September 25.
Campbell allegedly boarded the Metro bus in South Los Angeles just after midnight.
Prosecutors say he shot and killed 48-year-old Anthony Rivera,
who was on his way home from work only blocks from his destination.
Campbell is also accused of robbing and threatening another passenger
before forcing the bus driver, identified as Dennis Contreras, to continue driving at gunpoint.
For nearly an hour, police trailed the bus as Campbell led them on a slow chase through downtown Los Angeles.
The tense standoff ended only after officers deployed spike strips to disable the vehicle
and successfully performed a hostage rescue.
The second passenger, who was injured but quickly released, has not been publicly identified.
Anthony Rivera, a former National Guardsman,
was remembered by his family as a dedicated worker and a beloved family man.
Campbell was arraigned on Tuesday.
If convicted on all charges,
he could face a sentence of up to 90 years and eight months to life in prison.
Inmates at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center,
the only federal jail in New York City,
are facing new charges connected to a violent string of incidents spanning several months.
For details, we turn to Sydney Sumner of Crime Online.
On Monday, federal prosecutors unveiled charges against nine inmates in connection with a series
of violent assaults, including two fatal stabbings. These charges offer a disturbing
glimpse into
the ongoing turmoil inside the facility, which currently houses high-profile figures like Sean
Diddy Combs and Sam Bankman Freed. According to court documents, Andrew Simpson and Devone Thomas
have been charged with the murder of fellow inmate Uriel White, who was stabbed to death on June 7.
In a separate incident, Jamal Aziz, James Bazemore, and Alberto Santiago are accused
of the premeditated murder of Edwin Cordero, who was killed on July 17th. Prosecutors say
makeshift weapons were used in both attacks. The Metropolitan Detention Center has long been
under scrutiny for its conditions, and these recent events have intensified calls for reform.
