Jerome Ellis gets in an argument with his Dollar General co-worker
and pours bleach in the guy's Coke can while the man's in the restroom.
Realizing there's surveillance in the store, he tries to then destroy the evidence.
Yes, Nancy, Ellis is aware that the incident is caught on camera
and tries to destroy the video evidence by disabling the store's camera. Ellis also went
to the effort to wipe the can down after adding the bleach and spit in the can for good measure.
The Florida man tells cops he poisoned the soft drink to get back at the employee for, quote,
being difficult to work with.
Sounds to me like Ellis is the one who's difficult.
He's charged with poisoning.
Justin Johnson claims he's a Lee County, Alabama sheriff on social media.
The 36-year-old posts videos wearing tactical vests and shooting guns with suppression devices.
That's a silencer.
They carry patches and stickers of the sheriff's logo. Johnson also
made these claims to an unnamed woman who of course saw through them. When she questioned
him about it, he threatened to quote, put a bullet in her brain if she told anyone. Johnson also
threatened several other people. Johnson arrested by the real sheriff charged with impersonating a cop and
terroristic threats. Keith Blount waits in the FedEx parking lot, then shoots the employee that
failed him on his company driving test the month before. Bartholomew Masculi was an employee at
FedEx for 28 years. Masculi surely did not expect Blunt to retaliate with murder after he recommended
against Blunt's promotion to driver. Blunt also fired on Philadelphia police when they tried to
arrest him for the murder. Blount injured later in a shootout with Philly cops who tried to arrest
him. The 59-year-old now charged with murder and aggravated assault. More crime and justice news after this.

Angry families of Uvalde, Texas, shooting victims are demanding the resignation of DPS director Steve McGraw.
If you're a man of your word, you'll resign. We're not waiting any longer. McGraw
previously said he'd step down if any of his officers had culpability in the botched response.
One trooper, Juan Maldonado, was fired last week for his inaction and others are under
investigation. Maldonado can be seen in body cam video clearly aware that children were being killed.
This is so sad, dude. He shot kids. The video also contains audio of unidentified officers concerned about their own safety
while the gunman was inside with the children.
But at a hearing in his first public comment since June, McGraw was defiant.
A Delaware man who lured his ex-girlfriend to a wooded area and
beat her to death with a baseball bat has been convicted of first-degree murder and other crimes.
A jury deliberated for less than three hours before finding 21-year-old Noah Sharp guilty of
murder, conspiracy, and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony. Sharp faces a mandatory life sentence.
Prosecutors are also recommending a life sentence for Sharp's accomplice,
Anika Stolzinski, who pleaded guilty to murder and conspiracy
in the killing of 17-year-old Madison Sparrow.
Under state law, Stolzinski could be eligible for modification of a life sentence
after 30 years because she was
a juvenile at the time of the murder. A Georgia cop struggles to restrain an armed robber,
Derek Sutton. Sutton becomes violent. A broken radio stops the cop from calling for backup.
A brave family steps in to help. John, what happened? Well, Nancy, the Ortiz's dog starts barking wildly
when Sutton attacks the cop. Father and son rush to his aid, wrangling a gun from Sutton,
while mom runs to a main road to flag down another officer. The family recognized for bravery at a
Gwinnett County awards ceremony. Rush hour in New York took a scary turn when a man with
a fake gun hijacked a city bus. The NYPD held a briefing on the incident. This morning at
approximately 723 hours in the vicinity of Linden Boulevard and 197th Street, a 44-year-old male
ran in front of an eastbound Q4 bus with what appeared to be a firearm in his hand.
Police say the driver got the passengers off the bus and then he later jumped out a window.
The hijacker then took the wheel but only made it a block or so before crashing it into a telephone
pole. The man was then apprehended by police. The New York City Police Department calling for elevated vigilance ahead of the U.S. midterm elections,
warning that extremists could target political events and polling sites.
According to an NYPD alert, poll workers, people at rallies, and political candidates
face heightened risk of attack in the run-up to the November 8th elections.
The bulletin stressed it was drawing attention to the risk of attacks and threats,
even though there were no credible threats known by police at this time. A string of Georgia home
robberies all tied back to a theft ring after one of the thieves leaves a trail from the last
robbery to his own home. Gerald Bennett worked his way through a stolen
bag of Milky Ways, leaving a trail of Milky Way wrappers from the home that was robbed to his own.
