Chantoria Williamson, pregnant with her second child,
takes her two-year-old along to run errands,
but tempers fly when she spots her children's father
driving with another pregnant woman as passenger.
The couple argues, then Williamson pulls a gun
and shoots the woman still sitting in the car and drives off.
Nancy, the charges against Williamson were dismissed by Judge Suzanne Fonce when witnesses failed to appear in a preliminary hearing for the case.
Prosecutors asked for an adjournment, but Williamson's defense attorney prevailed in a motion to dismiss.
Prosecutors immediately sought authorization to recharge Williamson with the original counts.
Williamson faces life in prison if prosecutors can move the case forward.
Michigan cops catch up with Williamson at the father's home where they see Williamson slap the man,
Williamson, 26, now charged with assault with intent to murder and child abuse.
A Florida man buys a key lime pie for his mom's birthday and tells his roommate, David Powelson, it's off limits.
Days later, Powelson caves in and eats the whole pie.
When the roommate discovers the empty pie plate, the two men argue and Powelson decides to cool him off,
dumping a glass of water on the roommate, who calls, of course, the police.
Powelson now charged with battery.

Former Army infantry officer Shane James, now named as the shooter, responsible for six deaths
in Central Texas. Three other people were injured, including two police officers. The shooting rampage lasted more than two hours in two different cities.
Two of those killed were James' parents, 56-year-old Shane James Sr. and 55-year-old Phyllis James.
Texas police believe the 34-year-old man is connected to a string of violent incidents occurring in Austin over an eight-hour period. Here's Crime
Online's Jackie Howard. The incidents happened at four different locations in Austin and one near
San Antonio. The first deadly act happened in the morning, the shooting of an Austin Independent
School District police officer. That prompted the lockdown of Northeast Early College High School.
Just before noon, a man and woman were killed,
and early in the evening, another couple killed.
Investigators didn't link their crimes until an officer responding to a burglary call
ran into the suspect, James, in the backyard of a residence.
The officer was wounded.
Investigators are working on determining the relationship James may have had with those killed.
After James was arrested, Austin police discovered James' connection to a residence near San Antonio.
Deputies were sent to do a welfare check and found James' parents shot multiple times with a large caliber weapon.
Police say James has been involved in several incidents where deputies had to be called to the family home.
James' father at that time told police James had struggled with mental health issues for years.
James is being held without bail on a charge of capital murder. More charges are pending.
Former NFL player Sergio Brown pleads not guilty in the death of his mother. Brown stands charged with first-degree murder
and concealment of a dead body after his 73-year-old mother, Myrtle Brown, was found
near a stream behind her home. Surveillance cameras in the area captured Sergio Brown
burning items in a fire pit behind the home the evening before Myrtle Brown was reported missing,
and burnt fabric matching Myrtle Brown's clothing was later
found in the fire pit. The items missing from Brown's home were found with her son in Mexico.
Teen college student Kristen Smart went missing after an off-campus party 27 years ago. It took
25 years for police to arrest a suspect, and just this year, Paul Flores was convicted and sentenced
to 25 to life in her disappearance. Now, a twice-convicted killer is charged with attempted
murder after a prison yard attack on fellow inmate Flores. With more, Sidney Sumner with Crime Online.
Jason Richard Boudreau, 43, is also charged with counts involving crimes by a prisoner and

by whittling an object down until sharp. Flores was hospitalized but returned to the prison two
days later. Boudreau is serving life terms for strangling his girlfriend and then strangling
his cellmate, serial killer Roger Reese Kibbe. Kibbe was known as the I-5 Strangler.
Boudreaux is scheduled for arraignment after the first of the year.
Two years after her wealthy husband's death, Lydia Abrams is engaged to her ranch hand,
Keith Harper, naming him beneficiary to her estate.
June 6, Lydia has lunch with Harper and tells him she intends to check on her horses
at another California ranch, but would be home for dinner.
When Harper comes back, Lydia is nowhere to be found.
Harper reports Lydia missing, then drives all the way to Colorado for business, returning a week later.
Riverside cops search the ranch home and find bedsheets with bloodstains and two spent bullet casings. They also cut out a portion
of Harper's driver's seat for testing. A year after Lydia's disappearance, Harper calls 911
to report a female horse handler was in an ATV accident, but investigators determined the accident
was staged and Jody Newkirk died of meth overdose. Newkirk's diary indicated she was in a relationship with Harper.
Lydia Abrams now missing over three years.
