Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. Tonight, Sean Combs, aka Diddy, AKA Puffy, aka Puff, aka Puff, aka Love, aka Sean, rushed to the hospital with a head injury.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Wow, I wonder how that happened. This, after his prison party life exposed, including jailhouse, to be specific traditional Chinese massages with oils and incense. Hennessy flowing like a river, a private chef, a cell phone, nudies, even his own jailhouse Insta account. Good evening. I'm Nancy Grace.
Starting point is 00:00:51 This is Crime Stories. I want to thank you for being with us. Diddy is back in the hole. How appropriate. Sometimes you got to do that. I was f*** up. I mean, I hit rock bottom. He got another mutt added on to his jail time. He's still getting out early. Somebody was making booze and Diddy got a few cups of that and he was caught.
Starting point is 00:01:23 TMZ's report that on Saturday, October 10th, Diddy was rushed to the hospital at 1 a.m. after experiencing a severe and nasty fall. The report states that the ambulance arrived at 4 dicks at 1 a.m. to pick up Diddy, although the injuries appeared to be non-a-am. life-threatening us he was conscious and able to talk throughout the process. And he was returned back to the facility before sunrise. Another medical emergency suffered by Diddy, this time at the federal prison where he's been since he was convicted, Fort Dix in New Jersey. We're told that what happened on Friday night after midnight, sometime between midnight at 1 o'clock, an ambulance transported him out of the prison to get treatment for
Starting point is 00:02:07 an injury to his head. Number one, what is he doing outside of his jail after midnight at a Chinese massage getting oils rubbed into his body, maybe throwing back a crystal decanter glass, maybe one of those little bitty ones of Hennessy? Maybe he's enjoying food by his private chef? I don't know. But when you don't know what is happening, you look at what has happened. We know he was just put in the whole solitary confinement for a fight with another emma. You want to tell me, did he just fell after midnight? That did he just fell after midnight? That did not happen. That's my friends at Fear No Queen on TikTok, and of course, Harvey Levin at TMZ. Straight out to Tisa Tells joining us. Investigator,
Starting point is 00:02:58 commentator, star of Tisa Tells on YouTube. He's been following comes since she covered the trial. So, Tisa, Diddy, head injury? What happened? Okay. So sources are saying that Diddy had some type of injury. Now, there are three things going around. One, Diddy has gotten Fort Dix in a carpuffle. The inmates behind his scheme to hide his cell phone are mad because they are in solitary
Starting point is 00:03:25 confinement with them and they are facing even harsher penalties. The guards that allegedly gave him this Hennessy and this premium liquor, they are also facing worse than disciplinary. They're facing charges and may be thrown out. People are saying that unlike outside where Diddy's little king pin persona always got him through, this time, people are paying him back and they are mad and they're angry. Now here's the thing. They're saying this is not the first time that an inmate has gotten sick of Diddy, I am the king of the world act, and has tried to lay hands on him. But they are saying that this time Diddy made a big deal out of it. He wanted everybody know he was injured and he wanted to be rushed to the hospital because he is, looks like two or three days short from being permanently kicked out of the RDAP program, automatically by computers administratively and nobody on the inside that may be taking payoffs can stop this automatic kickoff.
Starting point is 00:04:24 So he did get hands placed on him. There was an injury to the head. People are saying he was hoping they would keep them hospitalized for a longer time to stop this automatic kickoff. However, they sent him right back a few hours and said there is nothing wrong with you. And he got sent back to solitary confinement. I think whether you got somebody as high profile as did he and there's any kind of a head injury, they're just thinking, we just got to make sure that there isn't some underlying thing here that could create a major problem. Okay, that's from Harvey Levin, our friend at TMZ, to Dr. Duane Hendricks.
Starting point is 00:05:02 You know him well, former Senior Warden with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, 30 years experience in public safety, now private consultant in high demand, helping correctional agencies improve access to behavioral health services. He's also an author of Who Are You, See It, Say It, Sees It. Dr. Hendricks, did you hear what Harvey Lendricks? Did you hear what Harvey Levin just said that when you have a person with a high profile like Sean Combs, you got to make sure that he's safe after a head injury? A, why just him?
Starting point is 00:05:37 What about the other inmates? Why is he so special? This is your neck of the woods, Hendricks. Why is he getting preferential treatment? And I haven't even gotten to the Chinese massages. I had to look that up with oils and incense. How in the hay is he getting oils and oils? incense behind bars. Hennessy, a private chef. Have you seen what the chef is cooking for him?
Starting point is 00:06:02 Let's show Hendricks. I bet you don't get this for supper. Okay, he is getting, there you go. He's now going to the Jamaican population for Jamaican food. He's getting curry chicken. He's getting onion rings. He's getting impanadas. He's getting pizza. He's getting beef over seasoned rice, all of this cooked with a special underwater cooking apparatus. What? None of the wardens
Starting point is 00:06:37 have seen an underwater cooking apparatus. They haven't seen the bottles of Hennessy. Forget about the nude photos being sent to him. And he has a jailhouse Insta account. Why has he rushed to the hospital and not the other inmates? Let's just start with that, Hendricks. Excuse me. Dr. Hendricks?
Starting point is 00:06:56 Well, first of all, all inmates that are injured or ill or anything like that at the middle of the night or in the day, if there's a medical emergency, they'll have to be taken out if staff there cannot handle whatever incident that occurred. Just like Tisa mentioned, he has created this environment in that facility where he's created a lot of heat towards the other inmates because there's some. He didn't create it. No, no, Hendricks. The jailhouse helped him create it. You want to tell me the guards don't know that he's yucking it up with that cell phone? Even I've seen video of him on his cell phone, a thousand miles away, and they have it?
Starting point is 00:07:45 So it's not all him. People are colluding with him. Four inmates that served him like slaves spoke to him. NBC with the condition of on oh there it is there you go I'm just going to refer to him as 05-4 what is that in his hand Hendricks what is that that is a cell phone and you're correct you're right you're right two things can be true there's definitely some colluding there's definitely some some major complacency within that facility but at the same time inmates have a subculture and I'm not sitting here and say that it's right I'm just saying these people live there
Starting point is 00:08:24 They're going to do anything and everything they can to be comfortable in those facilities, but he's not abiding by the rules of the inmate culture. If they have cell phones, if they have drugs, if they have alcohol, even if they have food that is being made by other inmates, he's supposed to try to stay as silent and as quiet as possible. Because at the end of the day, because of his celebrity and because he wants to come in prison and act like he's ditty, you know, the music mogul and all of this and all that inside the facility, that's not how you're supposed to operate within the prison setting. Again, I'm not advocating for anything that he's doing wrong
Starting point is 00:09:00 and whatever staff that are in there not doing what they need to be doing. I don't know how much more I can take. That cell phone footage I showed you is from our friends over at NBC, and I got a new moniker for you. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. We should have fixed it. We could have fixed it. We would have fixed it, but we didn't fix it.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Let me ask you this. Dr. Hendricks, how do you think it makes the other inmates feel the thousands of inmates to walk by Diddy's Cell and get a whiff of chicken curry or impanadas or onion rings? How do you think that makes them feel? As he's scrolling through his news, he's even got a tablet to watch TV and movies. And I understand he's obsessed with Fittie's documentary on him, vowing revenge. How do you think it makes them feel? Well, it's just like anything else. They need to get, they need to get their money up or get their weight up, as they say, inside the facility.
Starting point is 00:10:00 And of course, it makes them jealous of him, but at the same time, even if he does. I'm sorry, what? Who needs to do what, Hendricks? They need to get their money up and they need to get their weight up in terms of their influence. That will be the moniker inside a facility. That's your answer. They need to get more money and more weight to do what? No, to do the things
Starting point is 00:10:23 That doesn't even make any sense. Being in prison doesn't make sense. Mute him. Cut his mic right now. Okay. Lynn Shaw, I'm going to address what Dr. Dwayne Hendricks just said.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Instead of saying, you know what, the other inmates feel like crap because he's getting all of these special privileges behind bars and they're getting, I gave up cursing
Starting point is 00:10:47 when the twins were born. They're getting nothing, nothing. And Hendricks's answer is the other inmates and to get their money and their weight up so they can fight back and pay for special favors. That's not what I was expecting from Mr. Straight Arrow, Dr. Dwayne Hendricks.
Starting point is 00:11:02 But Lynn Shaw, before I introduce you fully, I want you to watch this. You can do it. You could be whoever you want. You could be en mango, too, with the ocean as your background. I ain't special. I just wanted, I want it bad.
Starting point is 00:11:17 You feel me? I'm not going to allow myself to not have to. mango. I'm asking hard. You know what? You know what? You know what?
Starting point is 00:11:27 I'm never going to my way. No, baby. When you're not, baby. You look at what they're proud of. You look at what they've already done. Did you really think Sean Combs was going to go. behind bars and live like a monk? A no.
Starting point is 00:12:00 It makes me sick. When I look at that and I look at how he is using other inmates that are now in the whole solitary themselves, four inmates come forward to NBC and talk about Diddy's lavish life behind bars, and they're so afraid they only speak under the condition of anonymity because they're worried what will happen to them by Diddy's people on the outside, right? you remember that car bomb. Remember that? Seeing that car blown up. Allegedly at ditties. There you go. You think he can't orchestrate that from behind bars? I got mobsters running mobs behind bars. They're speaking on anonymity conditions because they're scared.
Starting point is 00:12:48 They're scared, Lynn, because he can have whatever he wants, whenever he wants it, behind bars. And Hendricks's answer is the others, the other inmates need to weigh up and money up. What in the H.E. Double L. Nancy, I am infuriated. The dirty ditty party continues. He's in federal prison and he's still getting and demanding the VIP treatment. Well, you know who's not getting the VIP treatment? Those victims, alleged victims that came forward during the trial, they talked about their abuse. They talked about sex trafficking. They talked about everything they endured. And in this conversation, we're forgetting about all of them that came forward. Now again, allegations because he wasn't convicted of sex trafficking. He was convicted of the Man Act. Okay, engaging in
Starting point is 00:13:41 transportation for sex trafficking prostitution, I guess. But here's the thing. Let's talk about the justice system. Dr. Hendricks, I don't understand all of this. If I didn't know better, this is like something out of the movie, the Goodfellows, okay? All of this criminality, all of these perks he's allowed and are our women and some men who came forward during the trials. And you know what? What about all their trauma? What about justice for them as they're watching all of this unfold? Because we stand with them.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Okay. And what about even though he wasn't convicted of sex trafficking, those allegations should not be a footnote with all of this. History tells us what this man is like and he's a freak. So I'm not understanding why he's allowed to have all these perks. I'm tired of hearing, you know, the power, the power takes over, you know, the powerless. He's in federal prison and he's nude images and he's got people scrubbing his toilet firm and making him Jamaican pies and things like that. Enough. Shut this down. Who's holding the prison responsible? And again, this is about the victims. We're not remembering them in all of this conversation and the justice system. Is it still so antiquated that we give the powerful, those we deem with the money, okay?
Starting point is 00:14:54 and this power, he's a mogul, whatever, we give them over victims. It's about the justice system right now with this dirty ditty. And you know what? If I didn't know better, I think he smacked himself in the head so he could get out and be in the headlines again. They alleged that it had been happening for almost a year. They were smuggling cell phones, cell phone charging blocks, eight ounces of THD wax and 10 vapes into prison. Prosecutors alleged during this conspiracy, over $100,000 was transferred among co-conspirators. through electronic payments such as Vell, Apple Pay, cash app, and Vemmo for all of this contraband.
Starting point is 00:15:30 To make some of the things that the other inmates were alleging about Diddy and seeing the photos and videos of him with this cell phone pretty interesting. They spoke to a prison warden, and they said it does happen. It happens a lot. In fact, cell phones are an absolute, not a luxury that people have cell phones in prison. They're not allowed to, but he said it's like pretending drugs don't exist. in prison. They get in and I did ask how. And he said
Starting point is 00:15:58 drones. They can't stop drones flying over the walls and dropping stuff and then flying off. Diddy is promising people in jail that if you look after me, when I get out, when you get out, I will look after your family, I'll look after you, you'll come and work for bad boy. And I know what Diddy's like,
Starting point is 00:16:16 Did he can be in the shower and if you hear someone rapping, he'll be like, I'm going to give you a record deal. Will you just go and fold my laundry? Like he makes you do. He makes you do stuff with promises that he never, ever delivers on. That was first, Kaddisha Lynn on TikTok and The Nerve with our friend, Maureen Callahan, and of course, Rob Shooter. Dave Mack, joining us Crime Stories investigative reporter. I want to get to the head. injury, but before I get to Diddy's head injury, which he absolutely did not get from a fall. No, what is he out doing, wandering around after midnight to fall?
Starting point is 00:17:43 But that said, Dave Mack, what are all of the privileges, his party life behind bars? I've mentioned the Chinese massage, which I had to look up to find out what is a Chinese massage. You can explain that to everybody. Specially prepared foods, including homemade. Oh, my goodness. Wait, how'd that get up there? I was talking about food, and there he is getting a facial. That was right before he went behind bars,
Starting point is 00:18:11 but he's still getting massages, facials, you name it, special food. Nude sent to him that he watches on his private cell phone, his own tablet to watch TV and movies. Liquor, and I mean high-priced liquor like Hennessy, is smuggled in by guards. I mean, what else is happening, Dave, Mac? Give me the full rundown, and you can explain Chinese massage better than me. Well, you know, I had to look it up, Nancy,
Starting point is 00:18:42 because when we found out that it was a very specific Chinese massage, it's called Tu'i Nah. Tui Naa is a massage that applies rhythmic pressure with the fingers and palm or the thumb, helping to promote blood flow, okay? Grasping, gently grasping, lifting and squeezing muscles. Well, excuse me, Dave, Matt, blood flow to what? The design of this massage, Nancy, is to relieve muscular tension. I've never had one of these.
Starting point is 00:19:19 I'm not exactly sure what the goal is, but other things associated with this, you've got the grasping, gently grasping, lifting, and squeezing muscles and soft tissue, but there's also pressing, which is applying steady, controlled pressure to specific points or areas using a thumb, finger, or the palm again, and then rubbing. It's called Moe, using a circular or linear hand movement over the skin. underlying tissue. This is not a massage that is done totally nude either, Nancy. It's actually with loose clothing or under a sheet. Now, the other amenity or the other special treatment. I really don't want to think about Sean Combs without his clothes on ever since I had to hear about him
Starting point is 00:20:01 completely naked except for a woman's burqa watching forced sex with Cassie Ventura and a group of other guys. I don't want to think about that. But you know what? Dr. Bethany Marshall joining us. We're now psychoanalyst on Hulu, on Peacock, on Bravo. Her new hit podcast on the couch with Dr. Bethany Marshall. You can find her at Dr. Bethanymarshal.com. Dr. Bethany, did you just hear Dave Mack naively, naively question, what is the goal? What is the purpose of the lifting and the squeezing of Sean Combs' body parts? The goal is a happy ending vis-a-vis Sean Diddy Combs' Tutsi role, as we've talked about so many times.
Starting point is 00:20:49 You know, Nancy, he's created the same hierarchical power structure in the prison that he had outside, where he subjugates others so that all benefits flow to him. So outside the prison, what benefits flowed to him? Alcohol, sex, money, and power. and he subjugated others to get that. What's happening inside the prison? What is he getting? Sex, money, and power.
Starting point is 00:21:20 To Troy Slighton joining us, veteran trial lawyer out of L.A., Troy, I want to hear your response to what is happening with Sean Combs, and I haven't even gotten to his head injury. I think your beef, Nancy, should not be with Sean Combs himself, but rather the prison administration, officials that are enabling and allowing it. He's not getting these things out of thin air. He has money so he could put money on his commissary and buy things that are available to all other inmates. But if he's able to get things like Hennessy, cell phones, tablets, guess who
Starting point is 00:22:01 that's on? That's on the guards. That's on the prison administration. Just like the warden was telling us, this is not Sean Combs's fault. It's like blaming the dog because he ate the turkey that was left on the counter. That's your fault. That's not the dog's fault. So I think that your beef here should not be with Sean Diddy Combs who's taking advantage of the things that are being allowed to him. When Diddy decides for his comeback, he's going to lean in to what a tough gangster he was in jail and you telling the world that you did his laundry and massaged him does not fit that narrative. So he is going to want no part of you. He's going to make up some really fantastical story of being in a tough jail and really suffering. And he doesn't want some
Starting point is 00:22:54 queen out there who happened to be in the same ward as him saying, I folded his sheets. That's from The Nerve with Marine Callahan and our friend Rob Sheeter. Okay, Dr. Bethany Marshall, just think about what shooter just said he's going to come out of behind bars and he's going to be the tough guy that did hard jail time like Johnny Cash
Starting point is 00:23:17 as much as he sang about doing hard time I think he only did a couple of days over a minor infraction but it made his career right and I love Johnny Cash but can I ask you how this is going to work for Sean
Starting point is 00:23:33 comes because Johnny Cash didn't have, as Rob Schuter just said, some queen out there who happened to be in the same ward saying, I folded his sheets. His words, not mine. That said, it worked for Johnny Cash. Is it going to work for Sean Combs? Because he's coming out with all this street cred.
Starting point is 00:23:53 When the whole time he's chillaxing with Hennessy and a tablet and a cell phone and Jamaica dirt chicken. But you know, Nancy, P. Diddy knows. how to write his own narrative, how to distort reality. He, you know, I have never examined him in person, but he appears to just be lying constantly. And so I have no doubt that he'll be able to flip the script and act like a tough guy when he gets out. And you know what happens when somebody says something long enough? It becomes true to his followers. And you know what? If they don't believe the tough guy stuff, then he'll just send one of his goons after them. He'll suppress them.
Starting point is 00:24:34 cut off their money supply. He does anything possible to resuscitate his image. As Shooter said, getting on a plane, remember the private plane where he stopped everybody so they could photograph from a different angle. He knows how to polish his image. But you know, Nancy, what makes me sad about this whole story is Cassie Ventura, when he beat her and that tape that finally got released, He offered $100,000 to the staff at the hotel to suppress the tape. Now prison guards are being seduced by the promise of money on the outside, cash flowing, maybe to their family and friends in various forms. Prison guards, people on the inside are being corrupted as well.
Starting point is 00:25:23 And Nancy, it has to stop. There has to be people, have to be people outside these empires who simply say, no. or he's threatening them that if they don't cover up for him, he'll go after their families. That's another possibility as well. I love it. Did he working out the mafia role? Denny's a gangster doc.
Starting point is 00:25:49 He got rid of cooking with sausage and spaghetti. I'm suing. Now, I heard it was Chinese food one of the times. That's the mafia play. You go in there. You're a low-level camp because you fed and you pay the catch to be your staff. That's right. That's mafia style, Doc.
Starting point is 00:26:12 If you can pay, you can get that. You might have to, some of them have to pay anyways. Some celebrities got to pay anyway, so you might as well get some out of it. In other words, no, that's more violent prisons. In the state prisons, celebrities got to pay, Doc. they don't care about you being famous and all of that. You're rich. That's what we do know.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Tell it, Mathis. That's from the Art of Dialogue. To Lynn Shaw joining us, she is the founder and the executive director of Lynn's Warriors. She's a star of Lynn's Warriors on YouTube and has devoted her life to non-profit eradicating sex abuse on girls and women. Lynn, all of this lifestyle of the rich and famous even behind bars is of course irritating, but it's subterfuge about what this is really about. People are still looking up to Sean Combs. They are still giving him special favors.
Starting point is 00:27:14 They're still doing his bidding. I mean, cleaning out his commode, his jail toilet. You want to clean the toilet after Sean comes? I don't. His shower before he puts. one little toe in there. All this special food made with a special cooking apparatus that's hidden underwater, something like that.
Starting point is 00:27:33 The guards part of it bringing in Hennessy to him. He's got his own tablet to look at porn, look at nudes, ex-girlfriend sending him that and probably others, movies, TV. The works. He's got a butler. He has jailhouse slaves that he's paying. And it's all okay. because it's Diddy.
Starting point is 00:27:55 That's just what his sex attack victims endured. They wouldn't speak out because, hey, it's Diddy. Nobody will believe me. Even a jury. Well, I have news for you, Nancy. I predict, first of all, I want to say something, the women of tuna. Those women in the business we do, we work with victims of sex trafficking, not only in the United States, but around the world. And they are known for being women and girls sex trafficked.
Starting point is 00:28:23 So you connect the dots right there. Okay, next thing is we've got all these victims now, again, looking at this in the headlines about he's cooking and the food and the making of the bed and he's exchanging nude images and all this. What does this do overall for victims of sex trafficking and abuse? They will not come forward because they're looking at this case. Again, it's the power. It's the wealth. That's all that matters to everybody. The justice system does not work for us.
Starting point is 00:28:54 So we'll keep our mouth shut. And all of this predation and criminality will just continue. And I have news for you. Why are we locking up teenage girls and accusing them a prostitution? You know, they throw away the keys, basically. I've worked on so many of those cases. But this guy in our face with all of this. And everybody's laughing about it.
Starting point is 00:29:10 This is not funny. This is our justice system in the United States. And again, it is showing, you know, preferential treatment for power and wealth. But I have news for you. There's a lot more warriors on the road. When he gets out of prison, I don't think his life, he can try all he wants and spread his wealth around. I don't think his life is going to be near the same. He may hire a great PR firm and he's doing great and he's gangster, but he's going to go down.
Starting point is 00:29:32 His career, in my opinion, is over. And I hope I get to come back and talk about that because that's what's going to happen to him. He will not last in our new world, our new environment. The music you love. Your favorite radio stations. Everywhere you go. Everyone's talking about all in one place and it's free. I heart radio.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Whatever you want to hear. Listen anytime. Anywhere. Music, radio, podcasts, unlimited audio. It's on the free IHurt Radio app. Let's go! One app. No subscription.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Always free. Grab the free app. I heart radio. Everywhere you go. Always free. Download the free IHard Radio app today. Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. Troy Slayton with me.
Starting point is 00:30:27 veteran defense attorney out of L.A. Troy, you know, for him to get access to TV shows and movies, and he's watching Fiddy's documentary on him comes over and over and over. Then he has to go get a Chinese massage to, you know, work it all out. You have to get through a firewall. Somebody helped him get through the prison firewall, the, you know, Wi-Fi firewall. Who did that? You want to tell me somebody within the prison didn't help him? I don't believe that. And did you hear what was said about drones? Items being dropped to him by drone? Somebody's got to get that and give it to him. It's not just the other inmates. It's not just Sean Combs. And he also has to survive inspections. And so that comes back to the prison staff, Nancy. It is the prison staff that is allowing all this to have.
Starting point is 00:31:29 happen. And he doesn't even necessarily need Wi-Fi access for a tablet. It could come preloaded with all of the content that he is seeking Nancy. And so, look, I don't know the difference between Chinese massage and Shiatu. Put him up. I prefer, I prefer Thai massage myself. He's getting through the firewall because he's got an Insta. That could be posted by any of his staff. That's not necessarily posted by him. It could be staff, it could be people outside. And so what you're really upset about is a billionaire, is a billionaire.
Starting point is 00:32:07 He wasn't convicted of RICO. I won't remind you that you, and other guests predicted that he would be convicted on RICO. He was convicted of transportation for the purposes of prostitution. And so he's in a low level federal facility, Fort Dix. He's not in, maximum security. He's not in a super max. He's not there with violent criminals. He's there with the
Starting point is 00:32:35 lowest level criminals that we have in the federal system. And so, you know, money talks and BS walks. And so he has the money to be able to be able to be by all the things that you want. Some of that was obtained by NBC. Speaking of BS, Lynn Shaw, I saw the video of him beating Cassie Ventura. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I don't care what that jury did.
Starting point is 00:33:04 He beat her. She's not the only one. He forced one woman to get out and go back into a forced orgy after she was vomiting and covered in bruises. Remember her in the shower?
Starting point is 00:33:18 It goes on and on and on. All those women weren't lying. Okay. So I don't care what Troy Slayton's putting perfume on the pig tonight, but that happened. And now he's getting preferential treatment behind bars. I just don't know when it's going to end.
Starting point is 00:33:39 All of these women, again, I remind everybody, maybe he wasn't convicted of sex trafficking. And Rico, we don't care. Marley, maybe I have to become the morality police around here. We have him beating Cassie, throwing her around, forcing women, force for coercion. We saw that, even though he wasn't convicted of that. This is just a repeat of all of that.
Starting point is 00:34:02 How this is allowed to go on, why people aren't marching on this jail. I pointed out we're throwing girls, teens in jails across America, arresting them for prostitution. When we question it, well, we have no youth facilities to put them in. So we're going to leave them in jails and mix them in with adults. That's happening. But this guy, he's got cookers. He's got people waiting on him.
Starting point is 00:34:21 This is disgraceful. I don't understand any of this. Why are we even talking about this? Our justice system is upside down. Who's going to go to this prison? Who's going to call him out? I'd like somebody here to weigh in on that. Who's going to end this?
Starting point is 00:34:34 Okay? Who is going to stop this monster? Okay? This dirty ditty freak. Okay? He didn't call them freakoffs for nothing. Who's going to stop him? Because you know what?
Starting point is 00:34:44 No accountability, it just keeps escalating and getting worse. And again, this is a mark on our justice system, a black mark. And it's also why are girls and women and men and boys too will not come forward when they say to me repeatedly, money and people. power. That's what it's all about. We will not come forward. This is disgusting. To Tisa Tells joining us, a pop culture investigator. She's the star of Tisa Tells on YouTube. And she has been on Sean Combs' case from the very beginning. I want to hear about the head injury. Then I want to hear about him losing that half a million dollar lawsuit against NBC. You start
Starting point is 00:35:22 wherever you want. So when it comes down as Sean Combs's head injury, a lot of people think this is payback. and get back for his as as horrible as it is the justice system and at least for dick seems to be looking the other way and allowing it there is an internal investigation people are saying that this is get back people are tired of this prima donna attitude people are tired of him touting the rules but then everybody has to pay for it yes um just like dr linshaw said this is a repeat of the behavior we saw outside of jail and it really disheartens a lot of people because it looks like he has not changed at all. But this head injury, believe it or not might be the beginning of the end for Diddy.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Again, let's not forget, he has been in solitary confinement since September 30th. That whole early release program that he's in, if he goes past 15 days, he is automatically kicked out, which means he, all that good time he got will be called back, which also means the guards are facing between 5 and 20, if found that they were passing contraband and alcohol to inmates, which means Diddy could be facing a minimum of, well, at least up to a year additional time. The thing about the head injury is, it looks like Diddy and his ways have finally caught up to him. Justice seems to be delayed, but thanks to Diddy's own actions, it does not seem to be deferred. That head injury, it says a lot. A lot of people do think that it is karma.
Starting point is 00:36:59 But it does signal the beginning of the end and him being rushed to the hospital because of that and sit back in less than 24 hours. Again, the time is ticking. People said that he might have wanted to go to the hospital to see if he can pause this administrative crackdown, but to know about. So Diddy's hair injury, again, a lot of things going on. And I think for all the advocates, whether you wanted the justice isn't to deal with them, whether you thought he deserved karma. It seems to be all coming at him and hitting him fast. Again, somebody laid hands on him. Somebody did it so well that he had to go to the hospital. And again, this investigation is heating up and it's going faster and faster
Starting point is 00:37:43 because his antics that used to work outside where there was no oversight. Inside the closed jail of prison, even though we think nothing's happening, it looks like there is going to be this this time. Something disrespectful was said about his family. So then they started shoving each other. And then I was told that they didn't even shove each other or get into it physically long before the guards came in. Now, I pushed back on that because I was told something completely different
Starting point is 00:38:10 from the original source who caught me, who even told me that the fight happened. I was told that this had something to do with Did he allegedly smoking cigarettes in an unauthorized area? And the inmates were upset because they were worried about, like, searches that would happen if the guards found that the cigarettes were being smoked in a certain area. But this is what I was told as to why the fight happened. What people don't know, he got the whole, his whole side raided because he was smoking in an unrestricted area. Or he was smoking cigarettes and he in the program that he don't supposed to have no kind
Starting point is 00:38:43 of nicotine, no alcohol, no nothing. So what he did was he got the dorm area in which he was a part of, raided, where they went in there and they started confiscating stuff. and they end up getting one guy's phone. And the guy got real upset. If you get a phone taken from you in jail, you're going to get some time for that. So if you get our dorm raided,
Starting point is 00:39:11 because you don't know how to get away with smoking a cigarette and you smoking something in the unrestricted area or whatever like that, and we get a raid from that, and they find my phone and I get in trouble, what you think is going to happen, bro? That's from the Breakfast Club and the Art of Dialogue. I mean, to you, Dr. Bethany Marshall, in my prison experience, you get somebody else's cell-rated. You're going to get a beat down.
Starting point is 00:39:36 You know, that's right, Nancy. And it reminds me of so many defendants who go to their court hearings. And they're very powerful in society. They're powerful when they're dominating their victims. But they're one day in court, they fall apart. Like Michael Jackson, who came to court in the pajamas with the spider bites. Where I'm going with this is that this big tough guy meeting criteria for sociopathic personality disorder, relating to others on the basis of power, brutalizing other people.
Starting point is 00:40:09 It just may not work in that particular setting. He may be in a setting a group psychology for the first time ever in his life where there might be a bigger fish than him because it's not sex, money, and sex. power are not the only tools at everybody's disposal in that prison. They're the tools that P-Ditty uses, but some of those guys are huge and they pump iron and they have gang affiliations and they have their own language and they know how to sneak and they know how to make a shank. They know how to brutalize, you know, he is out of his element here. And if I were him, I'd be glad to be in solitary confinement because at least he's safe. And, you know, the
Starting point is 00:40:54 side of this that we're not talking about as much, Nancy, we talk about all the benefits flowing to him, but he's also brutalizing potentially prisoners who are more vulnerable than him. So I wouldn't be surprised if we have like a Jeffrey Epstein at some point. I mean, I just keep thinking about that with this story. Is he going to be taken out at some point? Because there's a lot to dislike about P-Ditty, especially if you're that group of guys behind bars. Dave, Matt, what can you tell me about Sean Combs losing a half-a-million-dollar lawsuit against NBC? Well, Nancy, he actually sued NBC Universal for $100 million. It was a defamation lawsuit over the documentary Diddy, the making of a bad boy.
Starting point is 00:41:44 He claimed that it defamed him. a judge actually dismissed the $100 million lawsuit and then and ruled the documentary did not cause additional harm to his reputation because it was already heavily damaged by prior criminal charges and then turned around and NBC Universal requested nearly a million in lawyer costs, but the judge cut that and makes columns have to pay $477,000. We wait. as justice unfolds, if it does in the case of Sean Combs. And tonight we remember American Hero Sergeant Brian Moll, Connecticut State Police,
Starting point is 00:42:25 killed in the line of duty after 27 years on the force, leaving behind his wife Susan and children Brian, Peter, and Samantha, American Hero Sergeant Brian Moll. Thank you to our guests, but especially to you for being with us. Nancy Gray signing off for tonight, But I'll see you tomorrow night. And until then, good night, friend. This is an IHeart podcast.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Guaranteed human.
