Conrad Hilton is still listed as in custody.
It's just the latest trouble for the 23-year-old heir to the Hilton hotel chain.
LAPD says the younger brother of Paris Hilton first stole a car belonging to the victim's father
and then drove to the victim's home where
he tried to break in. This is Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. It's troubling deja vu. In 2015,
Hilton was also arrested for breaking into Solomon's family home one month after she got
a protective order against him. I didn't want to call the police a lot of the times and I didn't
many of the times recently because I've been talking to his parents and wanting to make sure that he was safe.
Hilton just got out of jail in August after serving two months for violating his probation by using drugs.
Probation he was serving after being sentenced for threatening passengers and flight attendants
during an international flight in 2014. He's back, Conrad Hilton, who is the heir to the Hilton Hotel chain.
His great-grandfather established it many, many years ago,
and he is back in jail yet again.
You know, with all that money, why won't he just go away? Why? Why can't he go
be happy in his parents' mansion, in his sports car, and all of his rich friends, and just stay
out of jail? Why do my tax dollars have to keep supporting Conrad Hilton. And not only do they support him, he keeps getting out of jail.
He gets out of jail time after time after time.
I'm Nancy Grace.
This is Crime Stories.
And if the word celebrity justice ever applied, they apply here.
I remember when Conrad Hilton got on an international flight and threatened everyone,
told, screaming out, you're all effing peasants. I can own you all. Threatening harm to the crew,
the passengers, cursing everybody out, going into the bathroom on the plane, smoking pot. He was so out
of his mind and agitated and angry and high, he had to be restrained in his seat. Okay, you know
what? When you threaten a flight attendant, that's a felony. Why didn't he do hard times? I'll tell
you why. Because he started crying at the sentencing in front of a
federal judge, begging for house arrest at his grandfather's mansion in Palm Springs. Anyway,
he didn't get the house arrest, but he did get right out and had, quote, treatment. Then there
was the breaking in to his girlfriend's place.
Now, this is a weird, tangled-up sequence of events.
With me is the Duke, Alan Duke.
Alan, do you remember when his big sister, Paris Hilton, had the sex tape?
I remember it well.
2004, it was titled One Night in Paris. It made her a lot of money and launched her celebrity career.
Of sorts.
Well, long story short, this most recent break-in that he has done was breaking into his ex-girlfriend.
Her name is Hunter Daly Salomon.
She is the daughter of Paris Hilton's, let me just say, male co-star in her sex tape.
So Rick Solomon goes and gets married, has the daughter.
She's beautiful.
Hunter Daly Solomon.
And so he is basically dating his sister's sex tape co-star daughter.
Well, she breaks up with him.
He breaks in.
She has to get a TRO.
He then violates that.
And now, in the last days, he does it again.
According to TMZ, he breaks back into her home.
He's got a temporary restraining order on him.
If another man did that, they'd be under the jail.
Breaks back in the home and then has the audacity to steal the father's Bentley. That's where
the grand theft auto charge comes in. Now he's going to have a $60,000 bond. Of course,
he doesn't have the money to make it because he doesn't have a job. He lives off his parents
at his age. And I guess they're going
to get him back for more quotey treatment quotey. Is that the long and short of it, Alan?
Yes, the parents are holding bail over his head. They hired Robert Shapiro, the famed OJ lawyer,
to represent their son, Conrad Hilton, in court today.
And they're going to say, we will post the bail, $60,000,
which will cost them $6,000 or $7,000 to do,
if the judge requires our kid to go to a hospital, get diagnosed,
so we can find out what's causing him.
Did you say a kid? How old is he? I mean, I think of a kid as being eight or nine.
He's 23.
Oh, oh, 23.
You know where my dad was at 23?
He was on the other side of the world fighting for his country.
He had been holding a job down since he was 11.
Okay, now, so I don't think he's a kid, but, so let me understand this.
He's going to get, quote, treatment again, more treatment. What treatment?
I can't imagine. There's no way that they can, as parents, discipline a 23-year-old. We know that
horse is out of the barn. But they seem to believe that there is some mental illness or reason that
is causing this behavior. And if just they can get him off into a treatment facility, he will be cured. You know, it's amazing that these claims of mental illness only arise when he is looking at jail time.
Other than that, he's put loose and fancy free.
But as soon as he breaks another crime and has to go to jail, then suddenly, oh, yeah, you know what?
I knew he had a mental illness.
You know what it really does, everybody that really does have a mental illness,
a big disservice.
Because every time Conrad Hilton breaks the law,
suddenly his family claims he's got a mental illness.
What's the mental illness other than getting high
and breaking in his ex-girlfriend's house?
What's the mental illness?
Just a lot of antisocial behavior that normally
is treated with jail time. Okay, so what do we know about this incident? We know there was a
Bentley involved and that it was stolen. Conrad Hilton allegedly has been stalking this ex-girlfriend
and she had a restraining order against him. However, for some reason, mental illness or just whatever,
he went over to her house, got, allegedly, got her dad's Bentley and drove it away,
and he got arrested.
Now he's in jail.
Should be getting out today.
There are reports surfacing now that the girl, Hunter Daly Solomon,
is actually very afraid of him.
You know, in other circumstances, if this guy's family were not well-to-do,
white, educated, he'd already be in jail.
You don't keep violating a temporary restraining order.
He is in jail right now. He's in jail today.
I mean real jail.
He's in jail, but he'll get out of jail today.
I don't mean the county can.
I mean the penitentiary.
Yeah, I don't mean the revolving door out in L.A.
I mean the pen.
They do have a revolving door out here, which does make it surprising to me that he is still there.
But the only reason he's still there is that Rick and Kathy Hilton have said,
we're not going to post your bail until you are forced to get help in a hospital.
I don't think they think jail is help.
Well, didn't he get quote?
But they're using it.
Actually, ironically, they're using it.
Didn't he get quote help last time?
The last time he broke the law?
I mean, there's been so many times I can't keep it straight.
Right.
By the time you're 23.
I mean, we look at the case of Lindsay Lohan.
How many times had she been arrested by the time she was 23?
Well, this guy's going for the record.
Do we know how many times Conrad Hilton has been arrested?
You know, and he's so arrogant.
You know, I will never forget when he flipped off the press when they came up to speak to him and called them a slur.
I mean, this guy uses every nasty word in the book.
Of course, that's not a crime.
So I'm just going to try to focus on the crime.
Didn't he get so-called treatment the last time he was in trouble?
I believe that he did.
I have a very basic understanding of what is going on here
because I have close connections in the Hilton family. If you want to hear my theory about what his problem is, he's broke. The guy is 23.
He's got this billion-dollar name, Conrad Hilton. That's his great-grandfather who founded the whole
hotel chain way back in 1919. But he's not getting any of that money unless his parents or maybe his sister Paris give him some money.
Let me ask you a question, Alan.
Where does he live?
I believe he's been living with his parents at their house in the Beverly Hills area.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Beverly Hills?
Are you talking like 90210 area?
Yes.
Well, they're in the real estate business, yes.
Okay.
Well, that's actually a yes-no question, well, they're in the real estate business, yes. Okay, well, that's actually a yes-no question, Alan,
because I know you say that he's broke,
but A, he's a 23-year-old white male with very well-to-do parents
living in one of the most prestigious zip codes in the world, 90210.
They even made a TV series about all the rich people that live there.
He's driving a fancy sports car.
He has a closet full of clothes, food on the table.
If he wants to go to college or grad school, he could.
He could do anything he wants.
That's true.
For the rest of the world, Alan, I mean, maybe it doesn't pertain to you,
but for the rest of us, that's rich, okay?
So however your phraseology, all I know is that.
He's fortunate.
Yeah, okay.
You know what?
You say potato and I'll say potato.
This is what I know.
I know that I have represented so many women in court that have TROs sworn out, and they are not worth the paper and the ink they're written with.
And that usually does not apply to people that have every opportunity in the world, like Conrad Hilton.
And I'm just wondering, when is he going to do jail time? That's my question.
Any idea? What will it take? A murder? You know, out here, it's hard to say when you do jail time.
In these situations, we saw Lindsay Lohan do very little, and look what all she did over a period of
time. I'm not sure that he'll ever do jail time. They'll send him to rehab or whatever. That's
kind of the way you get out. That is a revolving door out here.
It is a problem out here with that. I'm not disagreeing with you. Okay, so Conrad Hilton in trouble again. I'm sure the judge will give him a slap on the pinky, not even a wrist.
He'll get so-called treatment, and within about another year to 18 months, he'll commit
another felony. So that's the state of affairs. I'm sorry to report and the 90210 zip code.
Nancy Grace, Crime Stories, disgusted, irritated, fed up, signing off. Goodbye, friend.
