A devastating act of violence on Chicago's transit system leaves a family shattered.
29-year-old Kyle Bickham was returning home from his shift at an Amazon warehouse in Cicero, Illinois, around 2.30 p.m. on Monday, September 7th.
According to Chicago police, Bickham was aboard a CTA.
train when three individuals approached him. Investigators say the suspects used force to push Bickham
off the moving train. Tragically, Bickham fell directly onto the electrified third rail before being struck
by another oncoming train, dying from his injuries. On Friday, September 11th, Chicago Police arrested a
15-year-old girl in connection with the fatal attack. The teenage suspect faces severe charges,
including felony counts of first-degree murder, mob action, murder by other forcible felony,
and aggravated battery to a transit employee.
Authorities have not disclosed whether two other suspects involved have been identified.
Speaking with the local outlet ABC 7 Chicago, Bickham's family described him as a hardworking
young man who wrote poetry and loved his family.
His grieving father Christopher Bickham, Sr., expressed the unimaginable grief falling over their
entire household. They took happiness. They took sunshine. They, they just took the world for me. It's the most
it's the most hurtful thing that is ever happened. Kyle's mother, Latanya Bickham, echoed that
sorrow when speaking to ABC 7, reflecting on her son's dedication to making an honest living.
He was just trying to make an honest day living, and this is what happened.
Kyle was one of four siblings, constantly reaching out to support his family.
His grandmother, Bertha Ford, told ABC 7 how Kyle would call to express his love,
voicing shock over the attack since Kyle had no connection to his alleged killers.
To view that evil to open a door and throw somebody a live person out,
What's wrong with you?
This guy was so kind.
Kyle's father added that the entire family is hurting deeply.
A GoFundMe has been established for funeral expenses,
while the family calls for increased transit safety
and urges anyone with information to contact police.

In Maryland a couple is in custody
Facing grave charges following the tragic death of their
two-month-old daughter, Ada Macquia Manzan Alvarado.
21-year-old Oscar Pineda and 21-year-old Caterine Monzon Alvarado were arrested by
Baltimore Police after bringing their unresponsive infant to harbor hospital on Wednesday.
Medical personnel immediately flagged the situation as suspicious upon discovering severe bruising
surrounding the baby girl's eyes and jawline. Detailed medical examinations later revealed
horrifying injuries. According to the charging documents, the infant suffered
significant head and brain trauma, multiple skull fractures, frontal lobe hemorrhaging,
and a subdural hemorrhage. Emergency staff could not revive the child. When questioned by investigators
regarding how these severe injuries occurred, the parents offered startling explanations.
According to court records and prosecutors, the father, Oscar Pineda, claimed to police officers
that his daughter's severe trauma was caused by Satan slamming a door on the child. Meanwhile,
While, prosecutor stated during a court hearing that the mother offered an alternate story,
claiming her two-year-old son frequently jumps on the bed, causing the baby to fall onto the
floor. However, prosecutors forcefully argued that the sheer extent of the baby's internal injuries
and skull fractures could never have resulted from a single fall off a bed. Further investigation revealed
that both parents admitted noticing the infant's severe bruising on September 6th and observed her
vomiting the following day. Despite these alarming symptoms, neither parent,
sought medical treatment until the child was completely unresponsive on Wednesday, with the mother
describing the child as freezing and in shock. Both Pineda and Manzan Alvarado, who are Guatemalan
nationals, faced charges of first and second-degree child abuse, assault, and reckless endangerment,
carrying up to 55 years in prison. Additional homicide charges remain pending autopsy results. Both are held
without bail. In Florida, a neighborhood dispute escalated into a bizarre criminal investigation in
Miami. 50-year-old Yer C. Macado Rivera was arrested by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office following
an incident at the Royal Country Mobile Homes on Monday, September 7th. According to an arrest affidavit
obtained by WFLA, Macado Rivera suspected her neighbor was having a sexual relationship with her husband.
Police report that Macado Rivera went to the victim's side of their shared split trailer,
forced her way inside without permission, and physically shoved the woman. Before leaving,
Mikado Rivera allegedly threw a bucket containing human feces directly onto the victim.
An affidavit notes that Mikado Rivera stated to a witness that she intentionally defecated in a bucket
to throw it in the victim's face. When interviewed by detectives, Mikado Rivera claimed she was merely
trying to dispose of the bucket because her toilet was broken, asserting they were only arguing over
the smell. She denied entering the residence or throwing feces, alleging the victim hit her on the head
with a bat. However, Mikado Rivera was booked on burglary and battery charges and appeared before
Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer, who ordered her held without bond with a stayaway
order. For more crime and justice news, be sure to join us for crime stories with Nancy Grace on
