I didn't have a lot of friends because I wasn't allowed to. My ex-boyfriend was very controlling and the best way to make friends to have a party. I hear it ticking. Yeah, no, there's something definitely in this room. Okay. So there's some sort of device. It's like a circuit. Suddenly there's an eye looking at you and it's staring at you with a single slit and it goes,

Child, you are my salvation. Abigail, why are you coming to me? with another name. Look, mister, do you ever hear someone else's voice when you hear your original name? It's just a memory that you don't want to remember anymore. I'm just trying to get away from bad memories. That's all Abigail means.

Abigail, well, she's pretty girl. You know, she's an actress, so she's got that like energy about her. And I like that. You see something it is staring right at you, But it's not. It's looking at it, but it's not. There's something in your mind, and it's trying to find its way in. You see a black door, has chains on it, locks. You've been planning this for a while, this infiltration that you're going to do tonight.

Oh, look, the boyfriend's emailing you. Yeah. What's he saying? Help. Selina, they have me. Help. And notice that your hand is on the keyboard, and it has been placed in the H-E-L-P tag. You're not real. You've never been real!

As you pull from underneath the couch, you realize that you grab a fistful of sand. And just as quickly as you thought the sand was there, you find that you've been holding nothing. Emmett, you came out here to LA for someone, right? I made a mistake, yeah. You did this. You made this happen.

Was it satisfying? Did it feel good to kill us? I'm watching. you, Emmett, in this wakeful nightmare where all dreams come true. All right guys, welcome back. Everyone managed to complete their prologue without having the tower fall. Except for Jude Marley. What?

Oh no. Is that true? Yes, his tower fell, unfortunately, during his story. So to begin, I would like everyone except for Mr. Jude Marley. to do their pre-designated one pull, and he will make his three pulls after that. Fenley, why don't we start with you? Okay.

Yeah, this one's way bigger. It's involved. Just leave me something. Yeah, okay. Just so that everybody knows there is blood on one of them. For the blood gods. Made a sacrifice. You see?

Yeah. My blood went into that. I have to do three of those. Yeah. Good luck. All right, Abigail, you're next. Are we supposed to, like, talk about ourselves or something? Yeah, if you want to talk about it, I mean, we learned a lot about Abigail,

but what would you like these fine people to know? Because as far as you know, you don't know nobody. That's not entirely true. Nope. Look at it, Teeter. You've just made a trap. Oh. Right away.

I guess you'll get to learn more about Abigail as the night goes on. Emmett, would you like to go next? Oh, more than anything. Oh. I felt a little calmer and better equipped before the little side adventure. Not so much now. You're so cavalier about it.

Yeah, like given a prostate exam. I have only received, I have never had the blessing of giving one. It's great. All right. Selena. Nope. One of the things I love about this game in particular is just what the tower means. Because it's different for literally everyone.

It represents something that they're going after and the tower is the epitome of success or failure. Thankfully, we are starting off with a lot of glorious successes. Jude. Jude Marley. Don't make you bad. There's nothing more pure than the tension building mechanism

that is 52 blocks of wood stacked onto each other. I definitely kind of immediately feel like an asshole for doing that. It was, I'm sure it felt like such an easy choice at the time. It was just ready to go. ready to go. Impulsive. Just very likely. It is an interesting choice leaving the middle of the woman. Just love me. The tower is incapable of love, Jude. Excellent, sir. Awesome. All right. Well, now that the pre-ports are done. Now that I'm sweating. Yes. I have the perfect beginning for our tale. All five of you for one reason or another have had a difficult day today. But there is

something to look forward to. Something that for many of you, for some of you may not be something that you would look forward to. But today it just seems right. And that is Fenley's rooftop soire. You tell me, are you the first one to arrive to the rooftop to receive everybody? Absolutely. I set my alarm early so that I knew that I could get up there and kind of set up a little bit. Right. So I'm there. I have a couple of paintings that I wanted to sit up.

Fashionably, yeah. You also walk up, you can hear actually, before Abigail even arrives, you can hear the thub, the decisive sound of boots on the old wooden stairs leading up to this simple, jutted, angular building as the door swings open with the loud, Abigail, you're out on the rooftop patio. You see Fenley and June, engaging in conversation.

Hi. Oh, hey. Thanks for coming. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You decided to come, I guess, then. Oh, you guys know each other? You could say that. Yeah, you could say that.

I did say that. I'm sorry I couldn't decorate more. The landlord's kind of a stickler about everything. Yeah. Yeah, we know. We know. Oh. The sparse.

This one, you can barely hear the creaking, but I think all of you have your ears tuned to it at this stage as, Hey, hello.

This point, you can very distinctly tell when a large patch of clouds seem to pass over the waning sunlight as the evening is coming to a close. And that's very interesting because just a few hours ago, it was clear skies. So two struggling artists and a nebulous upper management type in a somewhat rundown building. That's nice. And you? I'm probably gonna go head back. Suddenly a large thunder strike emits out from the cloud bank, and you can see that the clouds are starting to roll. And suddenly, as if the winds high above, you are gusting at 100, 200 miles an hour, you're seeing that the cloud is pushing itself deeper and deeper into the sky

taking up large portions of the overhead scenery. Oh no, I'm sorry you guys. I thought I didn't know it was gonna rain. Holy shit. I've never seen anything like that here. That doesn't look normal at all. It's just a little rain, but I mean, we could move the party down to-

here, they start walking towards the door when suddenly you hear the loud stomping of somebody coming up the door. The door doesn't even open. You can hear a, as the door kicks open and you see the landlords come straight up in a fit and a raging huff. Who did it?

Whoa, whoa. Who did that? Somebody screwed with the walls. All of you, get over there. He points towards the far part of the wall having you line up. up in front of him. Don't you too.

I see what you're going. Don't go down, sit down and tell me which one of you touched the walls. What are we talking about? We're talking about the building. I have one rule inside of this house. One very specific, important rule. And that is nobody messes with the building.

Not the walls, not the infrastructure, none of it outside, yet someone has disobeyed me. Who did it? Someone just fess up right. Now. Does anybody know what he's talking about? I have no idea. How do you know that someone messed with the walls if you can't point to who did it?

I just know, okay? I just know that there's something wrong and one of you is responsible for it. I swear to God I will evict all of you in one swoop unless someone tells me what happened right now. What the fuck new kid? You can see he's starting to pull into his hand. Whoa. No, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hey, hey, hey, hey. I did.

Don't! Wait, what? He pulls a gun out. It's a six shooter revolver. He holds it up in front of you. What, you, you? You throws his hand down, come storming up next to you, pulls you by your hands. Sorry.

What did you do? There was a ticking, there was a ticking noise. There was a ticking? There was a ticking? It was a, I don't know, it was some sort of like cylinder thing. What did it look like? What did it look like? It was a light bulb.

It was a light bulb. It was a light bulb. I can repair it. I can repair it. It's super easy. I'm a painter. I have paint. What did it look like? It was like a...

I sketched it. I have a... It was like a lantern. You see, as he comes across all of you, look around. Fenley, make a pull. Hold yourself together, man. Oh my God.

She'll pull this thing out and look at it. This is... You can see he's waving the gun around, looking at all of you. God damn it! I just had one rule. And this is... Selina.

This is so... You don't know what you've done. You have no idea what you've done. I can't get evicted. I can't. It says, I need this place. I need to stay. It doesn't evict you.

It doesn't matter. None of this will matter unless you tell me exactly what this looked like. It was like a lantern. It was like it plugged into something. It was in the wall. So you show him, you show him the bulb. And he looks at it and you can see, he starts to calm down. He puts the gun down ever since like there might still be time. Okay, there might. None of you go anywhere. And he runs and he bolts out through the door and storms down the hallway. As fast as he possibly can, you can also hear and look at the skyline. starting to roll and crackle as the clouds are beginning to become a nebulous blob. And you can hear nothing except for the occasional

of the thunder as lightning starts to scream across the sky, but not one drop of rain falls. Are you okay? Yeah. You good, Thinley? You heard you? Yeah, I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Come here.

It was a ticking sound inside of one of the pillars in my wall, and it looked like it was coming from a specific space, so I just pried it open a little, and it just completely fell apart. And then there was this cylinder that was inside of it. It looked like it had just shut off, like it was a light bulb, and it was warm to the touch, and I took it out because I didn't know. You hear gunshots. Kikow! Kikow!

Oh, God! Rang out on the bottom, and it feels like a light. that's coming from the second floor, that you hear an entire six rounds lay out, out of nowhere, and you hear nothing, silence. Everybody okay? Are we getting out of here right now? I think Mr. the landlord just lost his buck in mind.

Do we call the police? I think we need to get off the roof. I think we need to get out of this building. Agreed. Are you all coming off of the roof? Yeah, I'll follow up. I think we should get out of it. I don't really think we should be waiting here

for him to come back to do what he just did again. This looks fucking creepy. Yeah. That was fucking creepy. I'm sure he has his reasons. So as you all make your way down to the second floor of the building and the first thing that you notice when you get down to the bottom of the second stairs,

you see the landlord leaning against one of the rails and he is holding his head. Finally, you're the first one to see him. Oh my God. He holds up and he, drops the gun and looks at you as he eyes roll into the back of his head and he reaches out for you are you okay make a pull what make a pull do i is he is he bleeding is he can watch his blood is running down the side of his neck as he starts to look pale and white and he looks to Abigail he looks

to Jude he looks to Emmett he looks to Selena and he goes back to to looking at Abigail, and he moves his hand and stares. What the fuck, ma'am? And you can watch as he's barely holding his consciousness and starts to roll back as the final thing he says to the skies above, keep it on! As he tumbles backwards off of the banister. And you watch as he spirals down

and a loud crunch with it. Breaking of bones. As you look over the banister and peer down, down to the main lobby area, you watch his sprawled body laid out before you. Oh, fuck. And then you hear a knock at the door. The loud buzzer.

Meh, me. Of the front door. Do we cover them? Do we move them? We're good. We just, we all saw that. We all saw that. We're good.

But like, are they gonna fucking trust, They're not gonna trust us. We didn't do anything wrong. No, but we look really. A guy just fell over and we're all here. The five of us didn't murder the man together. But he looks really fucking murder. I can't go through this shit again.

Okay, someone cover. Finley, you look like- You look sweet. You look like a sweet kid, you're a sweetheart. Go, go, open the door and just- All right. You're good at people. Okay, we'll cover it. Okay, I'll go down and open the door.

And I can I start trying to to like, move in his body. Don't touch anything. Don't touch the gun. Don't touch him. Don't touch anything. Fenley, as you open the door, you see several police officers standing in front of you.
