One is small and hunched, more than five feet tall, possibly female, dressed in a brocade cloak of red and gold,
hair and cloak covered in tinkling beads and shells.
She holds a crooked staff in her hand.
The other is tall and lean, an archetypal middle-aged hobgoblin warrior with a long scar across his cheek.
It is his voice that you heard.
He wears heavy laminated armor,
his hands grip the hilt of a huge black grape sword.
He has an air of command and danger about him.
So let me set the miniatures and we'll roll for initiative.
