Folks, welcome back to Saga's up Sunday
Question Answers, I'm Dan Casey.
We're gonna talk about the latest episode
of Saga's of Sundry Goblin Mode in just a minute,
but first I have to introduce my wonderful cast,
joining me as always.
Daniel Radford, Amy Porpaul.
Jason Wynn, I love protein.
And today we're gonna talk about the latest episode
of Sages of Sundry Goblin mode.
Folks, this is an episode where a lot happened.
We made a real splash in every sense of the word,
and I wanna start where we should at the beginning.
And that is us falling through
this magical mystery portal
or in Jason's case, Jason's case falling.
We jumped on a row.
And so we had some big changes this episode.
We leveled up in a major way.
We're level three now.
Huge.
Which, it's nice.
Like, Phibbs now has 20 hit points
so he feels like he's not going to be felled
by a slight breeze.
But I want to talk about Danielle,
your character, busy.
She made probably the biggest change
of all this episode.
What was behind your decision to
multi-class into rogue?
Yeah, it was just, so every decision I've been making with Busy very much starts from the point of
this is someone who, you know, there's that thing born sexy yesterday, this is born Skelly yesterday,
she doesn't know anything, we've been cooped up in that dungeon, so she's learning about the world as she's going.
And so much of that and a lot of the Barty stuff was like things of the world, music, other things,
maybe she doesn't know so much about, learning how to be charming, learning how to be a person,
which is why her charm stat was so low initially.
And then we had that great adventure where we did do the greatest heist of all time in the journey to turn a kegger into a rager.
And they, the massive journey, gorgeous.
And so they, and then meeting the pirates who, again, seeing that community, that family and the way it presented itself in multiple different kinds of ways and really finding a connection with them and with their cool factor.
And so that combination along with being able to be Kaya
and really freak out that elemental dork, all of those things.
Poor Doris.
Yeah, so that's where we're at right as the episode ends,
is busy freaking out Palatius and having just gone on this adventure.
Now we are on a pirate airship.
And so as we go through when the portal is changing her,
it just kind of deepens more of that feeling.
for, you know, like she really enjoyed the sneaking around
and the stealing and the thieving.
Plus, as me, as Danielle, as the person playing busy,
it's like, you know, I could have done fighter,
but then like that, you could just be a swords bar,
sword.
Swords bar.
We'll just be a swartz and wield the axe.
Ah, yeah. Swartzbord.
Swart.
My sword.
You can have my sword and my axe.
But so, you know, there are other combinations
you could make that are kind of already things
that you can do depending on which college you choose.
or which way you decide to go with being a bard.
This one, it feels very complimentary
with the performance.
There is also the sneaky aspect
that being able to do more range to things.
You know, I'm still debating on what I'm going to do,
probably going to do more swashbuckly things
since we do have this ship.
Right now we are in the water,
so I'm feeling that's kind of...
Sloshbuckling.
Slashbuckling.
Slashbuckling.
So I'm feeling like these are all choices
that are, you know, carrying her forward
and kind of where her not mine,
because she doesn't have one,
where her skull is at.
I love that, though.
I love especially, it's like the lived experience of Bizzy,
and it turns out she really loves doing crime.
She's good at it, so why not multi-class into that?
She's also like, if all your friends
were going to jump off a bridge, would you?
And she's like, yes, I would.
Yeah, that sounds great.
Where's the bridge party?
We have a bridge party.
I will be the best at jumping off this bridge.
It's such a smart choice because it's like, let's be honest, we love lying.
Yeah, we love to lie.
We are super into it.
And also, I think it's funny that there is that dichotomy between wanting to get gold stars and wanting to be the best.
But it's also, having been a minion for so long, wanting to be the best does mean finding ways to do it that are also subterfuge, being thieves, being sneaky, other kinds of things.
and we're seeing that you can still do those
while on this path to becoming an adventurer
or to becoming, you know, less of a grubby little minion
and more of a Save the World type.
You can do that in your party,
and so this is also a way for me to be able to.
You don't lose your hometown and where you grew up.
You keep a part of that into
in my hometown and where busy grew up is evil.
And so you never lose that completely.
You can take the girl off the dungeon.
You can't take the dungeon out of the girl.
But that's the way I could find to transfer
some of those traits into.
to now the wider world.
Very cool.
It's also like,
I also, I feel like you get slept
on, but the fact that you have a great
sword makes me laugh all the time.
It's just there for that
great sword.
It's just for deckers.
Here's my clipboard for business,
but I also have like a berserk
style great sword.
Dude is in a moment's notice.
They never see it coming. And I think that's going to
do a hell of a lot of sneak attack damage, so I'm very
excited about that.
Sneak attack with a great sword is diabolical.
Right, and also, like, that's what I, like, doing, like, the shaping the bones in.
Like, I could use those as darts.
I could also use those as weapons and range attacks and things like that.
Well, we should get a stat block for the clipboard.
I feel like it's obviously a busy as weapon of choice.
Absolutely, yes.
Yes, very proficient in clipboard.
No problem.
Oh, I just wanted to read the text chain for when we love it up to three, and Jason goes,
uh oh tipi is an artillerist and can magically create an eldridge all caps canon that can have legs and follow tipi around
and i and i respond no period what period no and then i just then to lighten it up i go ha ha what
It's like I haven't done the math on art.
I haven't done the math on artificers yet.
Yeah.
And having a sentient cannon following you around.
Right after he got a friggin homunculus.
Artifisters, I'm learning, are so cool.
Pretty broken, yeah.
And can do so many things.
And I'm not used to such a spike in what you can do at level three.
I'm used to that at like level two or like level six.
But like, yeah, they get to focus on a,
specific role as a
as a
artificer they can
like be an artillerist or they can be an armor
or a battlesmith and
I just I was like artillerous because
Tippy loves guns right
he's got a focus in the gun stuff
it makes narrative sense
it's reminiscent when I played
D&D or like D&D light with my nephews
when they were younger and and you know they wanted
to be sorcerers and druids and whatever
like things that were cool you could say and my
the youngest one was he wanted to play
his older brothers, but he didn't know how.
And so we made him the magical present.
And the magical present was when the older boys wanted something,
they had to ask the magical present.
Like, I want a really cool sword.
And so they'd have to ask the magical present,
can I have the really cool sword?
And the magical present got to say yes or no.
And basically grant them the magic item.
And I think that's you.
I think you're the magical friend that just like it has some magic
coming out of them and can grant the party extra stuff.
Cool stuff.
I mean, like, I did a double take when, you know, it says in the write-up, like, you can choose for the canon to have legs if you so desire.
And I was like, yeah.
Yeah.
Why would you choose literally anything else than tiny leg.
I texted you my double take.
Yeah, yeah.
You've heard of the right to bear arms, but did you know that legs are also an option?
Yeah, it can move within up to 15 feet and walk around and following around.
It can make saving throws and stuff.
It can make saving throws.
It has an AC.
It leads a rich inner life?
Yes, yes.
It wants and needs, hopes and dreams.
Well, I can't wait to see what Tippy gets up to.
And Phibs, you got some more spells in that spellbook.
I got some more spells.
I got even more wizardly.
Yes.
I haven't used any of those spells yet, so I don't want to spoil anything.
I did tell Jason before this because I knew we were going into like sort of an underwatery area.
it had been sort of intimated, that might be the case.
I was looking at my character list,
and one of the options was air bubble.
And I distinctly did not take it,
because I was like, it'll be funnier
if I don't have that in my back pocket.
Because then we'll have to come up with some other solutions
to figure out how do we get this mouth-breathing goblin
up to the surface.
I mean that in a biological way.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I love it.
That's on theme.
That's like all of us being able to have cure wounds
and none of us ever preparing it.
Yeah.
I just haven't read the instructions and learned to you.
Yeah, I was like, yeah.
It's so expensive to learn spells.
Yeah, why?
Where does the gold go, Amy?
Where does the gold go?
Right into the weave.
Sitting on all that gold?
Yeah.
Oh, like I'm the Monopoly Bank.
Yeah, yeah.
The heist of the century.
Yeah, when I say the marked
got 30,000 gold pieces, I mean, little old me.
Also this episode, thank God for you guys, because I'm terrible at riddles.
And I was like, uh-oh, there's going to be a six riddles?
Okay, I need to tell you that I sent these riddles to my family because I was like, you know,
I tried to make them semi-well, I did write them all, so that was really fun.
They're great.
They're really fun.
But I sent them to my family to make sure that they were like, you know, a little challenging,
but with the word bank maybe not so challenging.
No, I liked the word bank that there was.
several things could apply to each one.
And that to me is like the mark of a good puzzle
where you're like, because this happened to me,
I'm like, oh, I've like honed in, I got it
and I was wrong twice.
Yes.
Damn.
Yes, yes.
That was actually really fun for me.
I was like, ooh, yeah, I get to do.
Did you have a moment of panic
where you're like, oh no, they're dumb?
Because I did.
I didn't know what to pay for it.
Oh, no, I'm dumb.
I for sure did.
I think y'all got in your heads.
I also think it's easy.
I will say that I think it's easier to do a riddle when the words are in front of you written out, you know, as opposed to me saying them and you're like doing that math too.
Well, the sphinx doesn't hand you a ride out.
Yeah, yeah.
But I texted it to my family and they got most of them except for the Laurel Reith.
But I did.
Take that Amy's family.
That one's a little hard because, but anyway, they were all like, I was like, oh, maybe they're more challenging than I thought.
And then the one that they got everyone and actually,
Wren, the story producer, wanted me to change, was the wings
because it's made of many dead.
And I was like, yeah, but hair and feathers are dead.
And that's just something I know.
So what if, like, other people just know that?
You're just dropping bird lore every episode.
Yeah, what is with you, Amy?
No, birds and hair is dead too.
Welcome to bird mode.
Yeah.
Welcome to bird mode.
I know that's
that's, well that's for you,
Tippy.
Yeah, we'll know that you'll be.
You're going to transform at a pivotal
moment.
Oh my God, I want to see that all
covered in goo.
I'm covered in dead things.
That's what birds are.
They're covered in dead things.
I mean, like, I was,
I had real panic because I was like,
am I dumb?
Or is Tippy dumb?
Like, I don't know.
Sometimes I'm like,
Tippy's going to make the wrong choice
because he just doesn't know any better.
But then this time I was like,
I as a player.
do not know.
I did have a moment of pay.
Well, as soon as I saw all of them, I was like,
wait, is this going to be one of those things
where every word, keyword on here
is going to correlate to something else?
They're going to be like six different things.
I was like, oh, that's going to be a lot of sorting.
Yeah, no, no.
But you did wind up getting candle at the end,
and that was actually.
That was a good bit of the Dutch.
That was a great save, because I would have never chosen candle.
I would have gone acorn until a day.
That was.
Because two things had hats.
Yeah, that was a one, no, and that was why, because once we figured out that, like, the, I think that was, that y'all, y'all figured out that the acorn had a little hat.
And that's when I was like, oh, because like a flame's like a little hat.
Too little hat guys.
You're right.
Well, anyway, good job, y'all.
That was really, it was really fun for me to make, and it seems very on-brand D&D, which I never get to do, I haven't gotten to do riddles in a really long time.
No, it's, it's also nice to, as a player to be like, oh, we're in a dungeon that has a puzzle that we have to solve.
Of course.
classic gameplay experience.
There's always one.
And also the room is filling with water,
which will be fine, but Tippy and I forgot about Loof.
So thank God she went into your diving suit
because otherwise...
Loof doesn't let me forget about Loof.
Y'all are Bonden so hardcore.
Yeah.
She webbed all over the place.
What are you going to do about?
How are you going to stop her from webbing?
You're right, I can't.
Literally, nothing I can do.
Unless you heard a baby.
But then you do get into the security atrium of Earned Kerr Fathom and immediately
Greetings adventurers, spring has sprung here in Los Angeles and that means it's a brief period
where it's only 75 degrees instead of 95 degrees. I'll take it. And that means I've been outside
a lot more. Walking around, occasionally galloping after a toddler hopped up on juice boxes, traveling a bit.
You know the vibe. And after doing some stuff.
spring cleaning, my wardrobe, I gotta say, looking a little bit sad. I want clothes that can keep up
with me and my son, but updating my wardrobe every spring sounds pretty expensive. So that's why I wound
up signing up for Fabletics as a VIP. It let me overhaul my springtime outfits without obliterating
my bank account. New VIPs unlock major savings on that first purchase, so trying new fits feels
way more doable. When I signed up as a new VIP with Fabletics, I got 70 to 80% off everything.
It made it easy to grab a few new pieces without overthinking it.
And the quality really surprised me.
Everything feels premium and soft and breathable,
but you're not paying those premium prices.
What I like most though is how versatile everything is.
You've got stuff you can work out in but also wear out.
There's matching sets, lightweight hoodies, joggers, teas, you name it.
The kind of stuff you can throw on in the morning and not worry about later.
When I'm at home, my favorite thing to pull on is the oversized hoodie.
It's so comfy I could just live in it 24-7.
It's perfect.
for walking my dog on like a chilly night.
But what I'm out and about,
I've really been loving the ribbed Johnny Collar polo.
It makes me look like I should be taking a high-powered meeting
by the pool at the White Lotus,
but hopefully with less murder involved.
I don't know.
It's insanely comfortable.
I highly recommend it.

And now, on to the show.
Greetings, Adventurers.
Lately, I've been getting a bit more intentional about what I wear from day to day,
because instead of just falling out of whatever laundry baskets nearby,
I've been leaning into pieces that feel easy and comfortable,
but still put together because it just makes getting dressed simpler when I have a plan.
Quince has been my go-to to help with that, because the fabrics feel elevated, the fits are clean,
and everything just works without me needing to overthink it.
And Quintz has all the wardrobe staples you need for spring.
Think 100% European linen shorts and shirts from just $34.
They're lightweight, they're breathable, they're comfortable, your legs, and torso will thank you,
and he will still look put together.
And clean 100% Pima Cotton Tees with a softness, well, you've got to feel that to believe it, believe you me.
Their pants also hit that same balance.
They're relaxed, they're comfortable, but still polished enough to wear basically anywhere.
And everything's priced between 50 and 80% less than what you'd find at similar brands.
Quince works directly with ethical factories and cuts out the middlemen so you're getting premium materials without the markup.
And since spring is here in Los Angeles, a brief period where it's 75 degrees instead of 95 degrees,
I spruced up my wardrobe with a pair of the comfort stretch traveler five pocket pants,
and the Heritage washed denim shirt.
Not only do they feel great,
but I unequivocally look good as hell while wearing them.
That's just science.
So refresh your every day with luxury you'll actually use.

Quince.com
slash critical role.
Yeah, this is a whole new world for you.
Immediately actually got stolen from fish mug.
Yeah, fish mug.
Fish mug.
Yeah.
Just immediately had our thing stolen
and then got just completely cornered
and berated by security
for not being from around these parts.
Oh yeah, but before that, we did have a,
we did have, you got blasted.
We got blasted with you.
There were a couple of things.
in this episode that just like really got me.
Because I don't know if you can tell.
Some bubble entendre.
But I'm trying.
I'm like trying.
How are you doing this, Dad?
How are you doing this?
I got the boom.
You got it.
The tone of this place is very like heavily surveilled.
Yes.
Scary.
And so it shocks me into this giggle mode whenever,
yeah, like y'all do some word play or whatever.
I'm like, oh, wait, yeah, and we're back to silliness.
I love that balance as well, because, like, I was just like, oh, wow, we're seeing, like, we're seeing, like, D.
The, D.D. Atlantis.
We're seeing this, like, incredible underwater metropolis with all these amazing sites.
But also, everyone is, like, scared and depressed, and there's, like, really intense security.
It's like, oh, I didn't expect there to be this sort of, like, really aggressive, like, sort of military security state right up.
outside of this like previous underwater paradise.
So that was a cool thing to reckon with.
Yeah, we go right into like the gulog, like the glug.
The gulog.
The gulog.
The gulog.
I mean, the way I do imagine earned cur fathom is very, I mean, it is ancient, right?
If it lived underwater, then it survived the searing and everything.
And so it's, it is a place of deep lore.
And of course, at the basis of all the lore is our beautiful tapestry.
Oh yeah, shout to it.
involving the tapestry.
That's awesome.
Clint Carney did such
a fantastic job.
He and his team,
phenomenal job
on all of the set design,
and I just love the tapestry
when they talked about
incorporating that.
Absolutely.
Yeah, and so the
amount of lore,
it's just kind of
commonplace for these people.
That's why Thresh is just like,
oh, yeah, the Sundari, this,
that.
It's like many of the things
that you've had questions
about of like,
what is going on here?
Like, yeah, they just kind of
know.
It's just now.
since the side of this here, no one's talking about it.
Yeah, we found a lot of stuff out this episode.
That's why I was like, I know we had like moving around to do,
but I just wanted to keep asking questions
because we just kept finding out more and more and more
of like these little building blocks.
And some of it was stuff that we were kind of putting together
above the table, but our characters hadn't got there yet.
And then a lot of it was just like slotting in like these
slotting in these little puzzle pieces, much like the pillars,
where we were finding out, you know, like things
and the way that they worked from this kind of bread
crumb trail that we already had.
Oh yeah, and big
little piece of lore. We know
now where Phibs is from.
Yeah. Oh, yes.
It's still a mystery to me.
It sounds like you were Gallantling
like hearing from the flashbacks, yeah.
I come from a place where gallantlings roam.
And we had a busy flashback too.
Oh, we sure did. We did. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, it sounds like
busy, obviously, like her nightmare,
getting demoted.
Still figuring out what's going on with kind of like this cult.
It's sounding like, is she part of it?
Is she not part of it?
Who is this guy that she's trying to maybe protect by slacking?
That sounds wrong and bad.
So trying to protect someone.
And yeah, Busy's got a lot of that.
We know she got kids.
We know that she has this sense of duty and that she's not using it
for some reason.
And you know her race.
Yeah, and we know that she's a dwarf.
She's his dwarf, yeah.
And she once had several beautiful beard braids, but now she is down one, which is really
sad and like a huge thing in her culture.
Yeah.
Yeah, which is, and so, which is like, of course, like I'm looking at the dwarf and like
the, in the tapestry with like the circlet and I'm like, that's really cool.
Like I wonder if that's something that like Busy knew about.
Because it seems like it would be something that she did if it's from her folks in her culture.
So that's interesting.
Oh, it's so interesting, isn't it?
It's all just so interesting.
Y'all did make my little heart happy.
This was going, I did plan on at least the geography location,
earned her fathom being a lore-heavy place that did have a lot of answers to questions.
And it's really cool that in this episode, yeah, your curiosity did.
and we rolled well for a change?
Actually, yeah.
Yeah, some deception, yeah, some saves.
We roll well on lore roles, but not when it comes to like,
oh, combat, and deception.
I know, I know.
Those are the breaks.
Because we're truth seekers.
Yeah, so what do you think about Eun-ZUg being,
like, maybe even a bigger player than you might have thought?
Or did you always think that he was a big player?
Oh, we always knew that Eun-ZUg was a big player.
That's why we followed him.
Yeah.
Okay.
Play on, player.
Game recognized the game.
I think there is a feeling, I think, at least that's growing for me as Tipi of, like, why is this happening to me?
Like, why me?
I just wanted to serve Eun-Zug and, like, do my thing.
But, like, it feels like these machinations that keep involving, you know what I mean?
Keep, like, ruining my life in some way.
Tipi had a great, like, it had this great line this episode about, like, what, I'm tired of all these, like, cults and factions and overlords.
They don't care about us.
and like it was just like all of his anxieties
falling out.
Yeah, finally coming out.
Just because he just wants to save Pecora,
that's all he wants.
Yeah.
He's in a bikini now.
I also love that you keep having him have to pass.
Did he's a wisdom save so he doesn't?
Can I ask?
Did I roll for it to a suppressed boner?
Like what was that?
What was that wisdom save?
You were like, oh yeah.
Piccora's in a bikini.
Make a wisdom save.
If you failed, you would have gone Awuga.
Yeah, Aooauga!
Oh, suddenly you're holding a cushion over your privates.
Your eyes pop out of your skull.
I think we'll find out soon enough with that.
I was like, what was that?
I made an earlier wisdom save about her as well.
Yeah, you had a DC-13.
I remember that fondly.
And I was wondering about that the whole time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
The war is over and both sides lost.
Kingdoms were reduced to cinders, an army scattered like bones in the dust.
Now the survivors claw to what's left of a broken world, praying the darkness chooses
someone else tonight.
But in the shadow dark, the darkness always wins.
This is old-school adventuring at its most cruel.
Your torch ticks down in real time, and when that flame dies, something else rises to finish
the job.
This is a brutal rules-light nightmare with a story that.
emerges organically based on the decisions that the characters make.
This is what it felt like to play RPGs in the 80s, and man, it is so good to be back.

When the Chaotics are on the case.
You have to make a Constitutional-saver versus protein, so we'll be...
Oh, my God.
The protein, like, I do know that I'm notary.
like, giggle, laugh, cry, whatever, but that,
I don't think I've cried this entire time until this episode
when y'all went off about protein,
because here's the thing I know, what protein,
or smells are protein.
That's, like, how you get smells.
Dan can relate.
And so, and so it's like,
just acting to date.
So there's, like, dumb shit in my mind.
I'm like, underwater, like, how, I think people can't,
or, like, animals can smell protein.
That's, like, dogs can smell, like, the protein.
And so, so egg on my face for even bringing that word.
You mean, sorry.
Don't need to say it.
No, say it.
Say it.
So you on my shoes.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, busy's probably gonna be really upset
if we lost any of that, like, precious,
like it's all washed out.
Any of that precious unzoued essence?
Yeah, that was the whole point of getting the benchy.
Maybe it'll be preserved because it's been salted now.
Oh, there to go.
It's been.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, y'all went nuts, y'all went nuts on nuts.
It was just, in the context of the bed sheet,
it was just, like, losing my mind.
Yeah, me too.
And then I also know that I'm covered in, like,
really cool makeup, so I'm, like, trying to cry and do the thing,
you know, like girls at weddings and just like,
oh, where's the tears?
And not trying to get it all over my face.
Anyway, that's the hardest part of Dungeons and Dragons
is when you laugh so hard you cry,
and then you can't, then you're wearing cool makeup
and you can't smear it.
I can't argue with that.
It is the hardest part.
It's the hardest part of Dungeons and Dragons.
The other hard part is remembering all the notes you wrote down in previous sessions.
You're doing so good!
Well, it's because you'd say something, and then I'd be like, oh my God, like Winter Soldier activation phrase.
I have to be like, Iffy's character said this like two episodes ago.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
And you're...
Daniel discovered this one busy deciphered.
She gas copperhead languages to like remember abyssal.
Yes.
And Gagongan was the thing that.
that you recognize it and you nailed.
And I knew Dan was the better note taker,
so I was like, Phibs, you remember Gagongen, right?
I have a fun story about Gagongen.
So in that moment to whatever episodes ago,
I made up that name, but that name Gagangan,
I've been doing, as Dan knows,
and we've been partner sometimes on Duolingo,
and I'm doing German,
and I have been doing it for like a couple of years,
and Gagangen is an actually
word in German.
Went, like went somewhere.
Oh.
Like you say, you say like,
I have gone or I went.
But like I was trying to think,
I think where my brain went, like, who friggin knows.
But like, it's underwater, so I think my brain went to Gungan.
Yep.
Yeah.
And then it went.
And then it jumped to Duolingo.
And I'm just telling you that to let you know that like.
Das is me so freunde.
Inspiration comes from anywhere.
It comes from anywhere, including your little language app.
So, but so Gagangan is canon, and I didn't have that name before you cast, yeah, comprehend languages.
That's been fantastic.
My note just says receipt, arrow Gagonging.
Gagongen.
Gagongen, it means they have a gaga.
I have gone.
So anyway, I'm sure other people would have picked up on that.
Yeah, our German audience is just like.
What the hell is she talking about?
Gaggani.
See, I'm part German, but I only know the cuss words,
so I would not have gotten Gagangan.
Oh, I add Gagangan to the list, right?
Because now we know.
I would just say to my Elman, she's going to be like,
I don't, what are you talking about?
My favorite phrase in German is mine bine, and it means my leg.
It's like, ah!
My bine!
Man, Bine!
And German SpongeBob fans know exactly what you're talking about right now.
Well, we are halfway through.
Yeah.
Yes.
It's fitting.
feels like, it feels like things got extra high stakes this episode.
Yeah.
Like we, we end on a, uh, a real like trench hanger.
Uh, it with like, oh, two people, one of whom we care about, one of whom is Crandall,
uh, are in mortal peril with this death cult that's going to try and raise a demon again,
collecting these all powerful artifacts.
Yeah.
And like, we're in this like, understakes.
nightmare death cult arena.
The Abbasium is such a cool name
by the way. It's just
like, okay, we
went from being three local idiots
to three local idiots
who are now underwater.
Who are now distant idiots, yeah.
But like we are, I do like
the sort of arc that I've seen
that I'm like sensing is that
you know, we went from sort of really not
understanding anything about the world around us
to the point where we're just like
it feels like an avon costello routine at times
like who's on first where we're just asking these questions
because we don't know
to us now being a bit more active in our choices
in terms of like oh we should probably lie
to this fish guard because
he's gonna take something from us otherwise
and we just instantly distrusted him
so I like that there is
I like that it feels like we're not as
we're not still the sort of like
rubs that we might have once been
yeah we never got the naivet
take has been beating, been getting beaten out of us, for sure.
Yeah.
I mean, you've, well, both of you have experienced a bone pile, so that means that you've
dropped to zero hit points at one point.
You've definitely made it, made at least one death of all.
We've almost died.
Several episodes.
Several times.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't think it's going to get easier.
And this time, we didn't have the captain with us to do some cool glave maneuvers and
save our bacon.
We have gun tippy and robotipy.
That's right.
Every time there's a new tippy, I can't wait to hear what the new name.
I mean, I just have to, there's so, there's so much really clever wordplay going on.
There's, there's, like, protein stuff, and, and then there's gun tippy and robo tippy.
Yes, clever wordplay, gun tippy.
And rog's tipis.
I just love tippies.
I'll take credit for that.
I love Tippy's panicked entomology.
But he's just like, yeah, of course it's gun tippy.
Well, wait, didn't you give me a...
Pipi.
Pippi is my now robot altering.
Yeah, Pippi is your robot name.
Oh, yeah, you are Pippie.
Pippie is my robot.
And your Rippie.
Pippie, Rippy.
There's a lot of different hippies up in here.
Yeah.
There's a whole multiverse of Tippy out there
that we're going to encounter,
which I can't wait to see more of.
I'm just so stoked to explore this undersea hellscape,
find out more about this death cult,
and figure out how we pull off
the heist of the millennium now.
Yeah.
Even bigger heist
with a person at the helm now.
Two, two people, ideally.
Two people in bikinis.
Two people in bikinis.
And enough goo to go around.
And on that note,
we're going to wrap this episode
of Quest and Answers up.
