I play busy, a skeleton, a multitasking, multi-classer, who is both a bard and a rogue. Hey, I'm Jason Wynne. I play Tippy, the Arterfister Goblin, who sometimes blows things up. And I'm Becca Scott. I play Berignis Burfist, the Six. I am a run-shapper cleric, and sometimes I keep you from blowing stuff up

with dynamite by giving you cool plowers. True, true. And sometimes, sometimes, Russian? Yeah, no, it was more like a Transylvania. God, it was tired. Okay, vampire. Yeah.

And sometimes you facilitate Tiffy blowing things up by giving him dynamite. Sure, we can play with the toy you want, but oh my God, what's that? Oh, right. Well, it is time. time to part the veil of reality. Ooh.

And we are no longer five human beings being surveilled by what I think is Tippy's biological grandmother. Oh, really? Wow. Wow. Grandmother? Yeah. No, we're not, though.

We're not being surveilled by Tippy's biological grandmother with red eyes. We are in fit-fedel delve, deep underground in a dwarven gem mine, in specifically a ritual room, a sanctum that has long been abandoned, long been forgotten by the dwarves. Still well known and familiar to our one skeleton, Bizzy, who in her past life was a fatekeeper. And you all, plus your two friends, Gotfrieda, the dwarf, and Pekara, the goblin, have fought off piles and piles and stacks of fiends and fleshy beings who were surrounding this deity-like person in Sundaros, an actual Sundara named Uthus. She is able to communicate in common, but she also seems devolved right now. As you know from the bones in the crater of sorrow having seen them

towering 100, 200 feet in the air, just a rib cage. She should be huge. She should be huge. She should should be enormous, and yet here she is the size of an actual human person. She has just mentioned she senses her champion, and at the moment you are within her sphere of grace, you all feel a sense of possibility and what could lie ahead. You're full of curiosity about the future, and yet you also know that while you are being protected, this being may not have long. and she might be in your charge. Gottfrieda and Berignius have tears in their eyes

after discovering this specific Sundara, realizing that there might be hope for all of Sundaros, not just Fitfedel Delve, because as you know, the lore was that the searing, 500 years ago, the five known Sundari disappear along with the demon lord Fraxis. No one really knows what happened to them, but they do know that their gargantuan bones

still left in the crater of sorrow. And the fact that a Sundara is actually still alive as frail as she is only means hope. The fact that she's also known as the Wanderer's Fortune just adds that extra spice to the hope. Is there anything you would like to do? I think busy, because Busy is seeing kind of how frail she is and how touched she's been.

So Busy's just gonna go and check in on her and see if she's okay, like see if there's anything. they can do to help or what she needs, like how we can help her in this moment. Okay, you can go up and talk to her. Hey, hi. My name's busy. Nice to meet you. I know, look, you shouldn't, you shouldn't comment on someone's appearance. It's very, very rude. It's incredibly rude. But you are not looking like you are super able to stand or do anything on your own. Is there anything we can do to help you?

I have hidden for too long. That has made me weak. I am so sorry. I thought this was the end for me. I know I am a coward, but I thought I could help fit Feddoldov at least. Busy just like kind of like takes her hand and tries to like kind of like comfort, comfort you this by like touching her head and it's like I just, you know, it seems like that was a really hard, very scary time for you and apology accepted, but no need to, uh, you know, We all kind of do things to protect ourselves, but now you have got several champions here. No.

No, we do. No, there's a bunch of us. Of other Sundari. You are champions of Sundari. Yeah. Does Sundari live? Well, those two. I'm just a goblin games champion.

And I just work in this mine. Thank you so much for attempting to the Delve. She says, you're welcome. I don't know how to help me. I think I may have an idea. What we must do is take you to a place to heal more than my powers as a cleric could heal. I heal mere humanoids, but you are deific.

And Gottfrieda looks at you and puts a hand on your shoulder and is like, Barignias, you don't think that they could help her. Help her. Oh, I think they could. I think if anyone could. It's the elves of Kalear. Elves of Kalear. Oh boy.

But the trick will be getting her out of here. Outside of this orb of protection, there are still creepy crawly beetle bugs. You know, I'm looking at this, and I think she is the orb of protection. Oh, well, that works in our favor. Weird. Inside of the orb.

It also has gotten bigger ever since. since we've been within it. Uthus says, yes, your presence is heartening to me. It is as if protecting you is giving me more power. I think I have an idea to be very respectfully walks over to her. Does she have a hand or like? She has a semblance of a hand, yeah. I kind of take my gun and put it in her hand.

This gives me confidence when I'm feeling low. She's able to lift it. Wrap her fingers around. Okay. Just hold it, just hold it. It might feel better. And again, like, her limbs disappear once they get past a certain, but no, but she's able to levitate it and she says,

Is this a... Done. Article of the Champion? No, I found it in a scrap pile in a Goblins games. I did put some minor touches on it, you know, has infinite ammo and stuff, but... And Eunzu gave me a scope. I'm here. Oh, okay.

I am so, can't know. I'm so, can't. No. Would it help if it was an article of a champion? Because like I got this thing and Busy like takes out the cup and it's like if you want it, if you want it, do you would touch it with that help? Oh, you can wear my hat. Oh, he's got a cool hat.

Oh, I see. My brothers and sisters have blessed you. Want to touch it? Yeah, here. Here. She holds the chalice and just looks fondly at it. I have seen this chalice before. It is a mere fragment of what it used to be.

This is of Kirkin, Orddenf's. Champion, where is Orddenf? Oh, I don't know. The only other Sundari we got to see in person was Arsena. Are you saying you've already met a Sindhari before? I turn around to show the eight-pointed star of Ariadne on the back of my robe, but then I flourish a bow

and doff my hat of wizardry to reveal the tattoo of crafts. underneath. Oh, you have met Arsena and the staff you carry. Yes, this is the staff of Robert, but I'll be honest I don't quite know which champion he was, so maybe I do but I'm forgetting. He is the champion of Saadif, the sovereign of nature. Oh yes, of course, that would explain things, okay. Many of these are almost as powerful as they once were. Where are the others? The circlet is currently with some sick-o-galitlings. Disgusting, sick, ooze-killing gallantlings.

Awful. We spit up them. Yeah, a group of real monsters called the yester dusters. There's also a ring, but we're not quite sure where that is. I'll be honest, we don't know what your article was. We've only heard of five. Yes, mine was minor. A simple luck stone. Why, I don't think there's anything. minor about that. We could all use more luck.

Looks down. Sounds huge. Yeah. But I was the middle child of my brothers and sisters and never really had a champion. Although I feel one now. You said somebody was calling. My champion. Yeah, who is it? I don't know.

Are they close? They are not within the fit fiddle dove. Sorry, that's okay. Why? Why? No, no. Don't worry about it. I just out of curiosity. You don't know where your luckstone is.

It feels west of here, but no, I'm not connected. I have not met with this champion. I believe they are west of Fit Fidel Del. I suppose relatively near, but not in this place. This place is of the fatekeepers. My brothers and sisters went to fight. together. And I was so scared, and I hid instead. The truth is I just looked for another task. So I came here to find and battle the fatekeeper's source, thinking she might be helping

Fraxis. I was correct, and I killed her, or I think I did. And then I was correct. And then I was I just stayed. Do you happen to know who the source was? Well, she was Matiana, a fallen Sundara, the toxic liege, responsible for killing potential legends and heroes, and all of that power turned her sicker. Greetings, adventurer. And sicker and more and more evil so much that Fraxas would not touch her. All she did was write down heroes' names and order them to be killed. She's no longer here. I did take her place, but I would not give another name, and so the fate keeper is dissolved. Well, listen, how long is this orb of protection going to last? I mean, there's more of those things out there. Gottfrieda says, as long as she's alive, it seems as though this is just radiating off of her. This is just her being. Yuthers. But if we're taking her out of here, what's going to happen to the Delph? I didn't think about that. Well, we've trained an army, and they'll do their job the best they can. It does seem as though we've at least made a dent in these fiends, and I just don't think it's right to keep her here now that we know that she's here to just... No. No.

Is it wrong? But Yuthas, perhaps when you're restored to your full power, you could give us some token. to help fit fetal in the future. I am called the wanderer's fortune. I want so badly to help people, but every time there is a stroke of luck, there must be balance. Good luck and bad luck. I represent both.

The randomness, the surprise, the chance. I do not represent the will of others, though. And I believe in the will. the will of people. So it would be my honor to repay this land. It does feel as though I'm being called away now. But yes, of course I will return. I will bless as many people as I can now.

But I can barely sustain myself without these gems. Well, I don't know if I can do much, but while we're here, I might as well try. And I would like to cast aura of vitality. Hmm. See if I can help her regain hit points. You cast your aura of vitality, and yes, she regains hit points. How many hit points?

Ooh, get ready. It's five. But that's just a bonus action so I can keep doing it for the minute of the spell. Oh, okay. I don't know. Do you want to grant me a certain number of... times that I could. Yeah, in a minute, 10?

Oh, okay. All right. So you're rolling 10 times 2D6? Yeah. Oh my gosh. They're all five so far. Wow. Bapap, ba-dooda.

She's back, baby. 47. 47. You actually see that this pink sphere is actually pushing further and further out, and it does take up most of the room. These beings have skittered up to the ceiling ceiling to avoid this sphere.

Some of them are still actually riding on the sphere, but. Get off. Fibb pokes the top of this sphere. Hey, drop of that. Yeah, that's enough discomfort for them to actually, yeah, skid her away. She separates herself from this pay night crystal, this red glowing crystal.

And the light changes from red to this juicy pink, just this really feminine childlike pink. And she float, and looks over and says, I am ashamed I never asked for help. That was all I needed to stand up and be ready, but I was so happy to let these beings come into my home, where I was, and feed on me, making me smaller and smaller, because I thought that would help everyone else.

For centuries I have let this define me this cowardice. But it seems as though things are shifting and I must change. Where do I go to fully regain who I am? We will take you to the Elvin City, but on the way, fit, Fettled Delve will hold a celebration in your honor. Let me lead the way. Okay. And Busy's gonna take out her map because we got a map when we came over. For the tour, of course. For the tour, of course. So I've got both a map of Fitfeldel.

And I had the kind of a general regional map from when we had left Meyer Finn. We had one when we got into the Palinquin because Lundsen gave us one. He sure did. It's right there in the index on your clipboard. So Busy kind of like looks down and you said, we're going to be going to, you said, Kalea. And then Kalea. Kalea. We're going to Kalea and then.

Sorry. In the New York. and it sounds like Kalea, but it's Kalear. Kalear. Yeah, it's my old, presume it's stomping grounds. So we're going to Kalear. Is Kalear on the map? Is Kalear what's west?

Is it Kalearly marked? Yeah. Kalear is Kalearly marked. There we go. Nailed it. I'll be honest, I've never left the Delve. I'm a little fearful. Honestly, B6, you will not believe the old

wonders and amazing things that you can find when you leave your cave. You think so? Yeah. There's so much outside of these walls and there is so much outside of Fit Fettledell. Do you think I could find a hat like that? You could find so many hats.

Speaking of, she takes that clip that was holding the enchanted clip. Her hair has just been straight out this entire time. It braids itself and, and, uh, Oh wow. It's very impressive. Dwarven magic or? Wow.

I am. Did you root shape that? I did. I think it's a protective one, right? Like they call it a protective spell style. That's right. Yeah, that's a protective style. Yeah, that's great.

The first 90 years of my life, I worked up building that. And then all the other rooms came easy after that one. You guys are just so similar. We should take you out to the Delph. I think I am ready for that. I do want to just raise this issue before. we leave. We came here for a reason. It wasn't just to take a tour. I appreciate the tour. Obviously, it's so lovely meeting you. But we came here because we also wanted to help open up the delve

our lord. He wishes to enter and he thinks that he can help reinforce the magic here. At least that's how it was portrayed to us. Right. Yes. We are here because we work for Unzug. You must know who that is. He's one of the champions, right? He's got the staff. Yeah, he did have the staff of Will Bear. Big, big, big deal. We're kind of his bros. He must be pure of heart to have such vile champions. I mean, valiant, valiant. In a good way. Berignis, you remember the High Council had to leave and go speak with someone outside. They mentioned Eun-zug that he was someone they'd already talked to. That's right.

I don't know what they said, but it seems as though they know him. Seems like they didn't want him in. This is exactly the sort of thing that Godfried and I have been railing against. He might be able to provide some protection in Euthis' absence. I don't profess to know what he has in store, but he did permit us to keep the chalice and the staff of Robert. And he helped me identify the tattoo of Kress. I do not know this unzug, and I cannot weigh in on him, but I am ready to step into my own light. Yeah.

Well, we'll probably need his help. I mean, we're just, we're just us, and he's so powerful, he's going to be able to help us. Once we leave here, we've got that whole celebrationy thing. Yeah. And then maybe we can speak to the council while we're out. They're going to want to hear about this. I think of all the people in the entire world who might be able to get. get into see the High Council, I think it would be the group of people walking out of the feedkeeper's ritual room with a Sundara.

Our full on, our own Sundara. Our own Sundara. No big deal. Maybe finally, I know what it's like when you keep giving fantastic recommendations and you keep getting ignored and ignored and ignored. So maybe this could also be your chance for someone to finally see everything that you have to offer to the council. And maybe I won't be the only one getting a promotion.

up in this piece. Oh, I couldn't possibly. Are those stuffy tight wards? Well, let's go and see what happens. Yeah. You do move out of this cavern, and with you, you do take some of these beings, but as you move out, her light gets bigger and bigger,

and this sphere of influence grows bigger and bigger, and it's almost like she could envelop all of FitFedel delve. It only took her centuries of years to realize that her hiding, didn't do anyone any good. As you're walking through and direct youth is where to go. Oh, this way. Yeah, it's a right here.

I know it's kind of a small passage. Other dwarves are being encapsulated by this sphere, and they are in awe. You see tears dripping down their face. They fall to their knees as they watch her pass by. Soon enough, enough people get enough wits about them, and bells start ringing throughout the entire FitFedal Delve. It's almost like FitFedel Delve is finally,

finally come to life after all of these years. It was beautiful before, but now the sparkles and the twinkles of the gems on the walls are radiant in their light. Every dwarf in FitFedalve comes to the circumference of this cavern. They're all standing to see Euthis appear in the middle of FitFedalve, and you just see dwarves lining the entire spiral walkway around this cavern. There's not much cheering, it is more reverend.

more reverent than that and anyone that you're near tries to reach out and touch her and of course her light is welcoming all within it across the cavern you see four High Council members come forward and you recognize them by the crowns of metal and gems not even they are immune to this effect that youth has on people they gesture to come up and meet them the procession continues all the way up to the High Council who takes you into this enclave room that's heavily decorated and painted. The four of them stand up on a stone dais and as soon as you enter with Euthis they kneel down and their leader. Alfred Brightbustle stands and says, ah, Perigneous, if you had told

me today would be the day that you finally stepped into your title of Berignius Berfus the sixth, I wouldn't have believed you. But here you are uncovering a literal Sundara. Alfred, I thank you for that. As much as one may try and escape the fate of their name and their ancestry, some things are written in the stars. You've been a good ruin shaper, but you yourself have dodged the attention, even though you are an excellent dwarf. I didn't want all that. When you grow up with everyone singing the praises of your namesake,

it's too much for one roon shaper to bear. All I ever wanted to do was to make my runes and empower them, imbue them with magic. But you are not responsible. It is not the dwarven way to be only responsible for one's self in one's comfort. You're realizing that now. You're now responsible for so many.

I do not belong to one clan or tribe or race or geography. Just like any of the Sundari, I choose to heal and grow as bright as I can. And if my brothers and sisters are still alive, I do wish to bring them back or join them. But only, as you say, fate will decide that. And Orfred says, dang it.

Well. Oh, man. Oh, man. We will be strong. Oh, yeah. You, this, it is a great decision you have made. Sorry. The dang it really got me.

Dang it. Nuts. Berengnis, will you lead an army to guide the Sundari on her way to Kalear to heal? Are you raising my position to general of the army? No. All right, but I do get to command an army, but my status stays the same.

You will be master run-shapper, and as you know, that does also give you military rights here. So more responsibility, but no title or no more pay. Well, she was not a master run shaper before. Alfred, there's one thing I have to ask more of you. Okay. You were the one.

I heard start these whispers of insanity, and now I have proven my worth, and you give me this title, but will you also give me an apology? Whoa. Hey. I've never even thought about asking for that. Wow, that is nuts.

She goes, um, dang it. Ah! The vibe is weird with this council. Oh. I will make an announcement in front of Fitz Fettledelf that you had the right idea all along. That is mighty noble of you. Well, that wasn't an apology, but...

It's even better. Okay. Public humiliation. Well, it won't be humiliated. I'm standing... I think it kind of is. People might laugh at you. I would definitely laugh at you.

Stop that. I'm trying so hard not to right now. If you admit how wrong you were in front of being going to... I've already started. We're laughing at you, not with you. You're weird. This is a certain. if I'd dag it in moment.

Wow. They'll say, they're disorganized in their thought. Dang it. The deepest burn that you could give around these parts. Okay, don't you get ahead for this. Okay, I'll take the army, thank you. You will have it and you will be, it's, look, it's cool, we're cool. You could do that thing you said.

You came here and gave us a Sundara, look, and we will, your name will go down in history for sure, and another Perignius Burrfus, but there are already people in the commander and general station. What am I supposed to do? What do you? You wanted her to step up, but now she's stepping up. And I'm giving her titles for it. All right. You know, no, hold on. You think you do one feet in one day and you get your station,

but a leader is not one point in time. You must continue being a leader. It's a commitment to your people and not to yourself. You spent your entire life, what is it, 100 years, being selfish, and now you have one selfless moment and you want the whole world. That isn't how it works. You do one thing, it is a magnificent thing. We are eternally grateful, and you must keep it up. We're cool then.

We're cool. Maybe like, back off, maybe a little bit, maybe just like a little, kind of like, woo, like, lets everybody chill. This is so embarrassing for you, because like if you were to know, like, who you're making a scene in front of it. in front of right now and I like,

And anyone in the army who's going, including Got Frida and Berignias. Everyone's giddy with excitement. They don't know what to expect.

watches the hourglass and he says, any moment now. You see him looking extremely victorious. It's kind of what he does for the time that you are scrying on him. You gotta find busy and Tippy. The rest or after the rest, Fibbs goes to find busy and Tippy. And I have to tell you guys something. I just, uh.

I think, friends, the important thing that I need to know, as the new acting commander of an army, is does this change the plans? This doesn't change the plans. Just means we need to be extra vigilant. Mm-hmm. Then in the morning, we will march. And, Gordfrita, as your boss,

it looks like she's still part of your- Not terror for unzu, terror for un-z-z-sue. There it is, I hit it. And with that revelation, and with plans to leave in the morning, we're going to go to the morning of your departure. Everyone's prepared, they all are ready

to escort Euthis outside of Fitzedal Delve. The captain of this squad is Berignis, Burfis the 6th. She leads the charge. You're all walking by foot, and she and Gautreda are in the front, you three right behind, and Euthis is flanked by all the dwarves, 40 of them. You march in a line protected by her shield.

As you exit FitFeddel DELV and are sent off with all the fanfare, very quickly, you do notice that the amount of health and vitality and vibrancy that youth this and her sphere has does begin to diminish as you get outside of Fitzfeldl. It gets smaller and you don't think much of it, maybe half hour goes by, you're able to see it and then all of a sudden it does fizzle all the way out. She takes a breath and looks at you surrounding her and says, I was not strong enough that gems sustained me.

My champion. And she gets, it feels like literally sucked to the west. She doesn't go far and you see this figure appearing out from the edge of a forest. And it is Eun-Zug. Two tendrils of force have escaped from his hands. And it's just this force crackling energy, faster than lightning. within seconds, they shoot forth and form a caged sphere that locks Uthus inside it. And that's not all.

As you are witnessing, this happened to the Sundara that you helped escape. Your eyes are actually torn to the second sphere, a smaller cage that now holds Tippy inside. And Eun-ZUG raises his arms, and fiends from all over, including fitfedal delve, rally to him, and he says, The Scarletta High Road. And with that, that is where we will end this episode. Oh, no.
