I want this so bad.
It's supposed to be like a hotel.

And it's got this amazing artwork here
by Jordan Torrance.
Where's the important?
It's right there.
It's so great. That's super cute.

That better be smutty.
Smut alert.
Oh, oh god. It's got pockets.
It is the scariest example of manifestation.
You did this.
So uncomfortable.
As it should be.
As it should be.
We're not making enough smut, if I'm being honest.
I concur with you.
No, here, here.
As a smut lover, agreed.
2025, make more smut.
Richa, you got some announcements.
You guys. Smut.
Smut.
That's it.
You might be able to see something smutty
at one of our live shows.
Yeah!
Tickets are on sale right now
for all five of our 10-year anniversary live shows.
We're going to be back in Chicago in April,
then Sydney and Melbourne in June,
Indianapolis once again in August,
and then rounding out the year in New York City
in October for Fjord and Jester's wedding,
which will surely be a smutty time.
It will be so smutty, you just wait.
I know!
Seriously, what are we going to do if we die?
I don't know, but it'll be funny.
Yeah, yeah, that's something I've mentioned.
It'll be a very short wedding. For tickets.
Wedding or funeral? Wedding or funeral?
Wedding or funeral? Wedding or funeral?
There we go. Wedding or funeral?
I do!
For tickets and all the details,
head over to critrole.com slash events.
It's a prequel wedding.
It happened right before the events
at the end of campaign three. Yeah!
Can Caduceus animate dead?
Yeah!
Here we go.
There!
Also, on the Darrington.
Speaking of Critmas.
Speaking of Critmas.
I want you all.
Behold, Queen by Midnight Quarter past!
Our wonderful producer in front, Kyle Shire's latest Darrington Press creation.
It is a standalone expansion to Queen by Midnight.
Yaaas! There he is!
There he is!
You gorgeous man!
Yaaas, queen!
Yaaas, Queen by Midnight.
This is a standalone expansion to Queen by Midnight
with new two-player rules, tons of new bizarre cards,
and four new princesses with unique strategies.
Sorry, it could be tragic strategies, you don't know.
Such as the diva of the 12 Tides, Lysa Le Kraken,
who wantonly banishes cards to her glorious Gerardo,
growing and hoarding its power
before unleashing it upon all of her foes.
No Kraken. She's a badass.
So good.
You can buy Queen by Midnight Quarter Pass
now at your friendly local game stores,
Darrington Press Guild Stores,
where you'll find foil versions
of all these four princesses' ultimate cards
and select Critical Role shops.
I believe that concludes our announcements.
Yes! So if Sam is still alive
from his choking over there from-
Doing good. Good. we'll make it work.
I believe it's time to jump into tonight's episode of
Critical Role.
Critical, critical, critical, it's Thursday night.
One by one we climb until we reach the top.
Two by two we fall.
Will we meet our end or meet our destiny?
Hold your breath and roll.
How do you want to do this?
It's Thursday night.
All ye critters come join us.
It's time to continue our plight.
There is magic and mystery, who knows what will happen in life.
But one thing's for sure, we never give up on the fight.
From the healer to the renegade We all share the same goal
Adding more allies, taking more chances
Hold your breath and roll
You can certainly try
It's Thursday night
All ye critters come join us
It's time to continue our play
It's Thursday night All ye Critters, come join us, it's time to continue our fight!
It's Thursday night!
There is magic and mystery from darkness, our friendship will rise!
But one thing's for sure, we never give up on the fight!
Oh, get ready!
It's Thursday night!
And welcome back.
So, last we left off,
the Mighty Nein in Bell's Hells had trekked to Ruidus
and had set up themselves at the point of plan,
divergence towards the Core and the Weavemind.
Meanwhile, we came back to Vox Machina
that were helming the assault on the Malleus Key itself,
and as such drawing attention away from their more
subtle plan within the depths of the Red Reddymoon.
They gathered their forces,
found old friends who were now centaurs,
then prepared themselves in Vasselheim,
gathered allies, bolstered themselves,
and joining a number of other skyships
that descended after the initial beginnings of the assault,
landed within the middle of the Tishton excavation site.
The massive ancient stronghold
now risen through the psychic powers of the Weave Mind,
broken and standing, frightening.
They battled their way through the core
of where they had landed,
heading towards where the Malleus Key currently stood.
And we left off just as they began to find the core of their goal.
Everybody, if you'd like to come back to the table, please.
Okay.
I'm cold.
Ooh la la.
Whoa! Oh shit.
Whoa shit. Oh, it's there! Oh shit. Whoa, shit.
Oh, it's there! Oh no.
It's there, it's there, it's there!
Oh no!
Oh wow! We're danger close.
We're danger close.
Oh.
Okay. Wow!
Wow, Matt. What the hell, dude?
Speaking of Critmas.
Wow.
You know, so.
What a place to TPK.
This was the site that you had gained eyes on
as you began to approach on that far end.
Okay.
So you haven't engaged yet.
But you are on the cusp of it.
We're over there?
We're over here. Look here. We're over here.
Look at us, we're adorable.
So that all being the case,
Vox Machina, what would you like to do?
I'm going to jump in here,
and seeing how close we are as a player,
and as Leah tell,
she, right where she is, is going to draw a blade
and drag it through her hand,
and blood is going to start to drip down
from on top of this giant white raven she's riding on.
It falls three or four feet down
and evaporates back up to her hand
and a gout of black shadow expands out in every direction
as she casts the spell Holy Aura.
Ooh. Ooh.
Which is real good for us.
But I don't have my shit open.
It's a concentration?
Yes, Bless drops on Keyleth.
Taliesin, if you could take the Bless off of that there.
Thank you.
Yeah, no, she's got a little thing. Hold on.
Yeah, hilarious.
Carry on. No worries.
So, Holy Aura.
Divine Light washes out from you
and coalesces in a soft radiance in a 30-foot radius,
so that should hit Vex'ahlia a little higher
and everyone down below.
Down below?
Creatures of your choice in that radius,
when you cast this spell, shed Dim Light
in a five-foot radius.
You have advantage on all saving throws,
and other creatures have disadvantage
on attack rolls against you until this spell ends.
How long does it? One minute.
Oh shit.
Okay, we don't have time to do anything.
You also now are each individually glowing.
So any sense of subtlety?
I just said I was going to say.
You're a cluster of candles at the moment.
But in this moment, while you cast that spell,
what's everyone else doing?
Sorry, it gives attack, it gives advantage on what?
All of your saving throws. All saving throws.
Attacks against you have disadvantage.
Okay, saving.
Attacks against us have disadvantage.
And then do we have to stay within 30 feet of you,
or it's constant now that we've been cast?
No, it's constant, but DM,
if another player, if I, in my nerves,
stepped over Sam talking, I'll hold off on that.
Okay, that's okay. I don't want to step
on his role.
The only thing I was going to do is,
I was going to see if there's any place for us
to duck in for a second and figure out
what the fuck we're doing before just running in.
Yes, surveil.
Yeah, are we near anything that's hideable?
I mean, there are broken bits of ruins all around you.
There's this massive wall there
you could try and duck behind.
This situation? Correct.
There are other soldiers and sounds of battle
happening at all sides,
so you're not certain if any sort of hiding's going to last
for a prolonged period of time.
Sure.
But down to each edge,
you can hear and see skirmishes in 360 degrees.
Oh, entirely.
And the massive dust storm that has consumed the sky
pretty much above and past this height area,
you can still see shadows
shifting and flying through above
where you can't quite make out the shape
and moving by quickly.
And I'm sorry, would you say
this isn't the exact position then where we finished
and everyone caught up to it on the last map
in the last game?
Did we traverse some ground to get here?
A very brief bit of ground.
Like you just kind of,
you'd be a little bit further off that way.
For the sake of not connecting them directly,
there's maybe another 30 or 40 feet.
And if the people who are ahead,
which would have been you, Keyleth, Grog,
and with the speed of the broom, probably Vex'ahlia,
you could either have gone on ahead
or you would have waited for the rest of the group
to catch up to you.
That's a choice I'll allow you to decide right now.
Sorry, Sam, I just assumed because we were,
that's what I thought, we were in the same place
and just people were blasting us.
So I didn't feel like we were,
but I want Sam to have that role.
That's okay.
So your intent is to cast that when the time happens.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
So are the folks that are ahead,
are you waiting for the rest of the group
or are you gaining the,
utilizing the momentum to come forward?
Up to you.
I think it would rely on if I could tell in this moment,
with my perception check of a natural 20,
So casually said.
If Liev can tell if they are noticed already
in the open hovering in space,
or if it's so chaotic that that's not knowable.
Perception 20.
I mean, you all have definitely made a splash
when you landed.
Most of the combatants that have taken notice of you
are currently engaged in other skirmishes.
So you're not unknown, but the people that have seen you at the moment are currently engaged in other skirmishes. So you're not unknown,
but the people that have seen you at the moment
are currently engaged elsewhere.
You're not sure for how long.
That was natural 20 boosted to 30 with her stats.
Jesus. Right.
Says that it's not clear.
Correct. Okay.
You are not stealthed.
You are not unnoticed.
Right, it's just for now.
Yeah, the people that are around your target location
have not yet noticed you.
Okay. And others that have
are currently engaged or uncertain for how long.
So you have a moment for a view.
It's a fucking battle.
You're in the middle of a field
and you have a brief breath
in the middle of the massive fight is where you're at.
So then we're rewinding even five seconds earlier.
I would say that Liev'tel,
knowing that she wanted to do this, getting here,
would wait for people to catch up.
Okay, so Liev'tel's waiting.
Vex'al, are you waiting or are you moving ahead?
I would've pulled up. Liev'tel was ahead of me.
I would've pulled up if I saw her stopping
and tried to look ahead and see if I can spot the orb.
Okay. Make a perception check for me.
I don't have as good of perception as... Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure.
23.
23 isn't bad.
I mean, the Malleus Key in itself,
which this is the first time that you've seen it,
outside of scrying rituals that have helped you try and, for the brief time that you've seen it, outside of scrying rituals
that have helped you try and,
for the brief time before they got dispelled,
try and scope out the location.
This massive, ancient construct
that has been retrofitted with all manner
of modern mage tech.
At a glance, you do not see an orb.
All you see is the extremely bright,
almost eye-harming red glow at the top
where the bloody bridge itself
is currently firing up to the red moon.
And you can see the glowing specter of shapes
descending who knows what distance
along that beam atop.
Seems that way.
From where you stand right now, you cannot see an orb,
but you can see there are all manner of
magitek bits of glowing around its base.
There are veins carved through it,
almost like arcane circuitry,
that pulse and glow and move around.
It is, arcana is not your specialty,
so at the moment you cannot see,
but you get the sense that if it exists in there,
it's probably connected in some way to the rest of this.
Okay. The only one of us
who's seen this before is Keyleth.
That is correct. Then I would pull up
and wait for Keyleth.
Okay. I'm so nervous.
Vex is waiting.
Keyleth Grog, what are you doing
while the rest catch up?
Let's fucking do this.
Hang on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
We should probably chat about this really quick.
Chat? You say gravelly
as you're filming before.
We should probably chat about this.
You're right, hold on.
I've been doing this the whole normal size.
I'll slam my titan stone knuckles together
and cast Enlarge.
Okay, you got it.
So hand me Grog's mini there.
I didn't do that the whole last fight.
You want to go ahead and replace him with this boy.
Ooh!
Oh boy.
Oh boy.
Oh boy.
Oh boy.
Oh, sorry.
Damn, that's a beefy moment.
That's enlarged, baby.
I'll put my back up against the building.
Up against the building.
What are we waiting for? All the others, weren't you?
Is it strategy?
A bit of a conversation.
Would I remember and have knowledge
of where the Vax orb is.
Do you remember?
Would it be hidden in that tower,
or has it since moved?
Have we built around it?
When you were getting throttled by Otohan Jewel.
That's the thing.
You were carved within an inch of your life.
I would say make a perception check with disadvantage
to see if you were able to notice it in the moment,
to recall it now.
Okay.
Disadvantage? Yes.
You said a perception check. Correct.
16. 16?
You know that it exists higher up on the tower,
but you're not certain of the specific location.
And also, do recall, you were given some instruction
as to the order of operations to free him, meaning?
I remember that.
Whatever it was I told.
There was something else that needed to be removed first.
Yep.
Uh-huh. The bacon. Uh-huh. The strange arcane relic. There was something else that needed to be removed first. Yep.
Uh-huh. The bacon. Uh-huh. The strange arcane relic.
The strange arcane relic. The beacon.
The beacon. The beacon had to be removed.
The beacon has to be removed.
I see. I'm sorry.
I was thinking pocket bacon, like Beau's bacon.
This was discussed last time,
so just want to make sure you're reminded.
Uh-huh.
We know that. Of course we know.
You knew this.
We would never do anything out of order.
Or suffer the consequences for doing so.
Let's say I'm going to write it down.
Piggybacking on their perception checks,
did they see anything glowy like bacon?
Huh?
Based on the perception checks,
you are too far to have acknowledged anything specific.
Understood.
Okay.
So this is the best you can ascertain from this distance and with your capability.
I'm wondering,
What is this fucking thing?
Something heavy and dark seems to cruise through the sky.
This loud, almost an impossibly bassy buzzing sound
kind of
arcs through the dust above you
and then out of sight and out of earshot.
Have the others, have we all caught up at this point?
Or are we still?
At this point, the slowest amongst you
being probably Pike on foot.
Pike!
Most careful.
Of course, of course.
Yeah, Percy and Pike being the slowest of the crew,
based on the fact that you are both elemental
and can glide or cruise along in your flame form.
But you all essentially gather up in that moment
and you have a beat before you're fairly certain
whatever's nearby is going to begin to descend upon you.
Okay. Well, wait, could we see?
What do you mean?
The
No, that was just
when it went off into the storm.
That's just a comet.
Has nothing to do with anything.
Atmosphere, atmosphere.
That's not going to get you.
No, go with me.
Do we have a flash of light
as some arcane bolt seems to streak through
and blast something just beyond the exterior
of the perimeter of the cloud, and you see a
and you hear the crashing of something heavy in the distance.
I'm wondering if we should have a stealth team
or a team that tries to go straight
to dislodge the beacon.
While another team stealths around,
like a distraction team and an infiltration team.
That tower begins to light up.
Oh boy. Why's that light not?
Fires off a bursting wave of translucent white light,
not unlike the Dispel Towers that you had to see before.
A goddamn Zantime distraction!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, probably the elemental, too.
Well, I can Earthglide underneath all of this
and make a beeline straight for the tower.
I could Dimension Door to it.
All right.
I could create some chaos in general,
and I don't need to be anyone near it.
So I'm going to come with you two.
You two do. You two infiltrate.
Okay.
Hey, wait, wait, before we go.
Hey, guys, we're saving the world again.
We are.
What would they do without us?
Don't know. Honestly, I don't know.
We're the best. I'm so tired.
Oh, him.
Do it again. Feels good.
Okay. Before we go,
I'm just going to turn to Keyleth and say,
real quick, I know this is unanswerable,
but if it comes down to it
and there's a choice between leaving Vax like this
or destroying him,
which would you rather have him be?
Whoa, I have a scare.
Leave him like this.
Leave him like this,
because we can figure it the fuck out.
Okay.
Let's destroy him.
We're clever.
Okay.
We'll figure it out.
Put him in the fridge box.
Keyleth?
Oh, I do have to. Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, I hate the idea of him being stuck like that.
You want him back, right?
Of course.
Worst case, we'll fix it.
I'm not hoping on it, though.
Sure.
I've written that off.
But if it's possible.
Two flashes arrive and you watch as
two more right to the surface.
It might be time to move.
All right, let's move. Okay, so it's me,
Scanlan, and Lieve Tell trying to get to the beacon?
It won't last.
For stealthing, that's going to be longer than a minute.
But can you do it to some of us
and then the stealth team goes without the light on them?
Oh, we have to stay together for your thing to work?
Also, can we take a second
to place ourselves before initiative or no?
Sorry.
You are essentially in that corner.
Okay, so there's no sneaking around beforehand.
If you want to try and continue around this path
and then those who are moving
will make a communal stealth check, yes.
We are sneaking over there?
It's not that far.
We're earring locked anyway, if I recall, or no.
Okay, good. That's not going to be 10 rounds to get over there. I's not that far. We're earring locked anyway, if I recall, or no. Okay, good.
That's not going to be 10 rounds to get over there.
I'm going to start making my way
unless anyone has an objection.
No objections, I'm just going to start skipping.
I'm going to wait until anybody
other than Grog has an objection.
No.
All right. No objection!
Did you pass the thing?
Grog skips out into the open of the field,
which will require initiative roll.
Oh!
That's a funny go.
We're going to do stealth stuff.
Do your thing.
Do your stealth stuff.
I'm just trying to get here.
All right, I'd like for you to make a stealth check.
Okay.
Before anyone moves,
I will do the whole malarkey that I spelled earlier.
It's dim light, it's not bright light,
so we are not shining like flask.
Right.
I'll just stealth check.
But Shadlock.
While we're in a war zone,
lasers are firing around us.
Right, yeah. Okay.
Yeah, you're not blazing beacons,
but you are walking candles,
which means shadowy alcoves,
you're going to be a bunch of lanterns walking along.
21.
Can you turn invisible?
Can I turn invisible still?
Will it show through that?
If you're invisible, it'll be invisible.
Okay, okay, okay.
I am going to cast Freedom of Movement
on both myself and Scanlan.
Whoa, excuse me. Nice.
So...
Freedom of Movement.
You like...
You're unaffected by difficult terrain.
You can't be paralyzed or restrained.
Amazing.
And everybody that was advantage on all saves
and disadvantage from enemies attacking,
they have disadvantage attacking you.
Okay. Wow.
And then before initiative starts,
I've got one action, but I'm waiting
until it seems like everything is starting.
You rolled your stealth check.
Anybody else stealthing up with Percy?
Anybody else?
Anybody else?
Is anybody else stealthing with Percy?
I'll come around with Percy.
Make a stealth check using the physical attributes
of your earth element.
Well, can I dip down and earth glide to where he is?
Correct. Popped back up?
But it's still a stealth check to pop back up
without drawing attention with the noise and movement.
Okay. What am I at?
Just a stealth check.
It's okay. 13.
13, got it.
Go ahead and hand me the earth element for it there
and set it next to these rocks there in that corner.
Here, tiny. There we go.
All righty. Okay.
Anybody else heading off in that direction?
I'm going on Team Malleus' key,
so me riding this raven is gliding down.
Around that way?
Yeah, and I think that I will step off
of the giant three-headed raven and follow on foot.
Okay.
I won't tell it to leave.
It does what it wants.
Could you hand me Liev'tel and the platform there?
Thank you. Oh yeah, I'm and the platform there? Thank you.
Oh yeah, I'm lit up with a bright light anyway.
I can't go stealth, so I'm...
I've got the love of the Dawnfather on me.
So Liev'tel has
The love of the Dawnfather.
behind as your summoned ally,
with his wonderful little marge hair.
I'll take off there.
Remains for the moment.
I got a 17 on stealth. 17 on stealth, all right. I'm going to, I guess. Remains for the moment. I got a 17 on stealth.
17 on stealth, all right.
I'm going to, I guess, since we're up here.
Before we get to you. Oh, yeah, I know, sorry.
I know you're eager.
I'm making sure everyone else has,
anybody else coming up on the front
or is everyone staying off of that side there?
No, we're both lit up.
Yeah, right?
And you're all lit up. We're all lit up, yes.
No, but I'm lit up with a bright light.
I'm pretty lit.
Oh yeah, you are.
You are a fiery beacon
because of your Blessing of the Demon Father.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I'm not going stealth.
I'm just going to try to distract.
The minute you move out from cover there,
you're likely going to be noticed.
I got no guards to hold me down.
Wow.
I'm going to, instead of stealthing slowly
across the battlefield, I'm just going to dimension door
right back behind that tent.
Over here? Next to him?
Yeah. You got it.
On the backside of him? On the backside.
Amazing.
The Centaurlin, if you don't mind.
Scantar, whatever you want to call it.
All right, and you are in the back over there.
Look at this giant craw. That's so cool.
All righty. Can I in the back over there. Look at this giant garage, it's so cool. All righty.
Can I, from where I am, can I see this guy over here?
Here, yeah. Yeah.
Now, with Sharpshooter,
I don't have long distance disadvantage,
and my Fenthris Bow can shoot 600 feet.
Then yeah, that would do it.
600?
100?
100, 345.
Yeah, 6, 7, eight, nine, 10.
So. We have a lot of range,
the two of us.
Yeah. Yards is 600.
Can you sing this?
200. Two football fields.
Two football fields.
Yeah, that disadvantage, I love it.
That news is a hit.
To be fair, you also just grew to the size
of the passive ogre, so you're good.
This is my thing. Exactly.
This is what I can do. Yeah, you got that.
In fact, in that case, I'm going to aim
right in the middle of all these fuckers right here.
I know, you're going to. Okay.
I'm going to load my bow up with an explosive arrow.
Let's go. All right, so you pull
one of the first specials. Thank you, darling.
Go ahead and pull back the arrow.
As soon as I see them moving,
Okay, so you release the arrow simultaneously
with Keyleth being noticed from this thought eater
right here that is stationed perimeter to this.
So you and the thought eater
will both have an action simultaneously,
and then we'll roll initiative.
Okay, I'm aiming at this guy next to the stair,
one of those ones that just came down.
Right there?
The one on the other side
so that I can hopefully get this guy, too.
It's 15 feet radius. Okay, it's a 15 foot radius, yes.
I'm going to light up the Blazing Bow string.
All right, let's go.
Grog?
If I see Vex getting ready to kick things off,
then can I begin my jaunty skip?
You can indeed.
I would love to let go of one of my toys
that's been wound four times for 60 feet.
Okay. All right.
What toy are you dropping?
Oh, I am dropping a little wind-up toy
that weirdly looks like Professor Anders,
if you remember him.
It's like a little ball,
and there's a body of Professor Anders on it,
trying to hold a big test tube of green liquid.
I love that. How big is this?
It's about that big.
I'm loading myself up with a...
He's holding it going.
Green liquid.
Yeah, and he just moves forward,
a little robotic. Does he have a catchphrase,
he says, as he moves?
It's a wind-up toy, man.
Great, I'll use this as your wind-up toy.
Which direction are you placing it?
Okay, that or I have a B, too.
This one actually looks like a little piece of...
I'm heading right into that group
that's right over there.
So you're setting it right there?
Yeah. Going this way?
Yeah, and it should take 15 feet.
Does it have a wind-up mechanism?
Yeah. I'm loading myself up
with Hail of Thorns as well,
because that's a bonus action.
You're what?
Hail of Thorns, I'm also casting on myself for this.
All right.
You were setting it, I'm setting this
as the direction it's traveling,
so it'll continue that way. All right. You were setting it, I'm setting this as the direction it's traveling. So it'll continue that way.
All right.
I am going to use my Blessing of the Everlight.
And I'm going to...
That's a third level.
Wings sprout out.
You got it. Your wings emerge.
Beautiful, golden.
If your feathers expand, this angelic figure
that is by trick or flight.
Yeah, it's a show!
Stretch him out, stretch him out.
Matt. Yes.
At the end of last game, I had
Call Lightning up, which lasts for 10 minutes.
No, you still have it up.
So it would still be up.
Correct. Okay.
Now you have concentration on.
Everyone with concentration, when you take damage,
help me remember to see if that arrives or not.
I'm no warcaster, but yes.
Yeah, no worries. Oh no.
All right, so starting this off, simultaneous runs here.
You charge out, making yourself a big target,
shooting gallery style.
Vex. Hail of Thorns not happening.
Nothing's within five feet of that guy,
and I would see that, right?
Correct, yeah, they're all about time.
Okay, then I'm just going with the explosive.
All right, cool.
So you, blazing blowstring, fire up on your bow and with the explosive. All right, cool. So you, Blazing Blowstring,
fire up on your bow
and release the explosive arrow.
20.
20.
Yes!
I love the scene with the whispered into the wall.
Oh, I just want to keep up.
This is how you begin.
Yeah.
Come on.
All right, well, that definitely hits.
So go ahead and roll the damage for the arrow
and the bowstring, which is,
dice are doubled on those first.
Plus a sneak attack.
Technically, yeah, because he wasn't aware you were there.
So yeah, let's go.
Take your time.
Ooh! Okay.
Okay, wait. Arrow, how we do it. This time. Ooh! Okay. Okay, wait. Let me figure out what I'm doing.
This is how we do it.
Three. How do you do it, baby?
And then this is for the explosive.
Hotty dirty dirties.
Okay, so that's nine.
12 for the explosive.
All righty.
Doubled. Mm-hmm.
So 24. Right.
And then four d6 for the sneak attack.
I'm still in rogue.
Ooh! Ooh!
Good rolls.
11, 15, 18, doubled.
So 18 doubles. 36.
Yep, 36.
Okay.
36 plus five.
And then regular damage.
Kill them all.
So delightfully gross.
That's a d10.
I'm going one, eight.
Okay, six.
OP.
Said no one ever.
Six plus, hold on, there's another dice.
Can't believe it took me a beat.
I think it's just this one.
So eight plus nine.
Eight plus nine, okay.
Damn!
I don't know what that totaled.
It's like 1,000.
So it's basically 1,000.
All right, so that's on this. We won.
Lauran right there. Yes.
60 plus 17.
Oh my god.
Who's going to go ahead?
34 plus 26 plus three.
We won!
So this guy just takes the arrow
and is about to lean forward before
he detains from within.
He is taken out before it catches him.
15-foot radius from him.
Is going to catch the guy across the way,
though he's going to take half.
He does get advantage or bonus to his deck save
because he's half cover.
The other two are also going to make their saves as well.
That is a 15 on this guy.
That's a save.
That's a save, so he takes half damage.
That was 12, right?
Yes. Double damage.
Well, the crit is against the target.
The fire itself doesn't double against the other people.
So he takes six there.
The other guy over there,
the remaining Ryloran troop,
takes, it's going to be 13.
Fail. Fail,. He takes 12.
All righty.
He is destroyed from that shot.
Let's go. Sent off the way.
Weird question, do the little balls take damage or no?
They always do. Not from fire.
Okay, fair. Good to know.
Not from fire.
It flicks around this one
and doesn't seem to impact it at all.
Not from what you can tell.
However, the sound of the detonation,
all eyes in the battlefield
shift over in that direction
and then see this broom riding,
glowing symbol of hope
getting ready to notch another arrow back into it.
Simultaneously, while you set your toy in the ground,
it begins to wander out.
Grawl begins to spring along,
scaling up, double-toed up here,
as this thought eater shifts over at a glance,
noticing some movement,
and is going to go ahead from this distance,
is going to attempt to mind-ravage you, Keyleth.
Did I hit any of the other guys that were there?
You did, you hit both of them.
Both of them, okay.
And that guy's not.
No, and that guy also, actually.
However, he were really low,
so even the bonus he got didn't matter,
so he also takes 12.
Okay.
Who's mind fucking me?
Isn't that always the question?
This thought eater up here.
Do I see that happen?
No, because you are down below.
He doesn't have disadvantage on the attack
against you, though, because of your Holy Aura.
I have to tell stuff.
That is going to be disadvantage.
Oh, that's bad.
Oh, double fours, 14.
Does 14 hit you?
Negative.
What's your AC for your earth elemental form?
Oh, right.
It is my earth ele form.
No, 17.
17.
Does not impact on you with that.
However, we are now in initiative.
Yes!
Your initiative for me.
Yeah, baby!
Come get some!
Into the world!
Oh my god.
Final chapter! Whoa. I'm back on that! Oh my god. Final chapter!
I'm back on deck! Oh wow.
Oh wow, why?
Oh shoot.
I was supposed to read this.
I'll read it later.
Okay.
Well, 25 to 20?
22 with a natural 20.
23. 29.
29! Okay, hold on.
Percy, Vex, Keyleth?
Yes. 29. Okay, hold on. Percy, Vex, Keyleth? Yes. Yeah.
Oh boy, guys.
I am nervous. That's the first one. 20 to 15?
19.
There are a bunch of Es and Vs in there somewhere.
Leah, Shriver? All right.
Please, no.
It's gray and rained down.
Yeah.
I took the piss all day.
So Leia fell.
All right.
Is that for Leia Fallen?
Percy, Vex, Keyleth, they have to tell
that was it so far.
Okay.
15 to 10?
14.
10?
10 here, 10. 12 here.
Oh.
So, Scallion.
Oh, Scanlan.
Okay. Dex. Who has a higher dex between Sertana and Scalman. Oh, Scanlan. And then dex.
Who has a higher dex between Sirkonos and Pike?
Plus two for 14.
What do you have?
I have a 15.
There you go. So Pike.
Grog, Pike. Why'd you say it
like it was a bad thing?
Grog, Scanlan, Pike.
Because I'm guessing,
because the D&D beyond went down.
Oh.
What?! I'm pretty sure
I talked it over with Gabe.
All right, so it's Sirkonos, then Pike?
No. No, Pike, then Sirkonos.
We think.
That's okay.
Okay. I'm going off memory, which is we know.
10 to five. Is there music playing?
No, that should be it. That should be everybody.
Okay, wait. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight?
There's eight of us at this table.
There are eight of us. Oh, jeez.
Frog.
Big table.
Who are in this? Where's the table?
You should really spin it out.
Wait, Dex, did you say?
I think that'll take care of itself.
Yeah, what's your Dex? I'm 12.
Oh, so it is Sarkonus.
Where's Sarkonus going?
Oh, jeez, I wrote it down.
Robbie, you're going before Pike.
You're before Pike.
What?
I misremembered, which is...
Pike's a liar.
Not a shocker.
Skan...
So Scanlan, Sirconos, Pike.
Numbers. Okay.
Percy, Vex, Keyleth, Yeftel, Grog,
Scanlan, Zirconos, Pike.
29 initiative? That's insane.
17 plus.
I'm double checking, but I also have my Percy.
Surprise, surprise, you're up first, Vex onto it.
Yep, okay.
No mercy. No mercy!
I know, I know. So I'm going to, I don't like you're up first. Vex onto it. Yep, okay. No mercy, no mercy! Yeah, I know, I know.
So I'm going to, I don't like that guy up there.
So I'm going to take Bad News.
I'm going to burn for a Deadeye shot to get advantage.
Okay.
I'm also going to add,
I'm going to take negative five to hit
for the plus 10 damage on that one. Okay. So I'm going to take negative five to hit for the plus 10 damage on that one.
Okay.
So I'm going to take my first shot.
There we are.
So shot number one.
There we are.
That's 26 to hit?
26 definitely hits.
Okay, so that's...
I wish I could reroll one, so that sucks.
18, 28 points of damage.
Do you have to read the thing?
I will. Okay.
All righty.
Two.
Gun goes off, blasts the Ryloran Thought Eater.
You see as the blast impacts, puts its hand up
and this psychic shield absorbs the entirety of the blast.
Whoa. It doesn't even hit
the Ryloran. Whoa.
But you do see the psychic shield
almost crack a bit before fading from view.
Is that bad news, too?
Oh, bullshit.
I'm going to take another shot.
Oh, bullshit. I'm going to take another shot. Shit.
So I'm not going to take
a deadeye for this one,
but I am going to do the negative five for plus 10.
Okay.
So no advantage for me.
What's that one called? Sharp Shot.
Yeah, wait, oh shit, hold on.
That might be bad.
Where's my...
You didn't break your rifle on the second shot, dude.
That's a misfire. That's a misfire.
Oh no.
So since I can do that,
I can use my bonus action to try and fix it really quick.
You can. I'll cut this fuck my life.
Repair is
eight plus a misfire, so that's 11.
So let's see, I roll a, what is it?
Eight plus eight splits 11 is the DC,
and I'm rolling Tinker, which is six, I believe.
It's just my proficiency bonus, right?
First two in your decks.
Okay, excellent.
Why making a Tinker roll?
12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, I'm good.
Yeah, you're fine.
So you repair Bad News.
That's first attack hits, second attack misses
with a misfire, you bonus action to repair it,
you have two more attacks.
Do some blinks, eh, Percy?
I turn to Grog for my next attack.
You got four or five hits!
There's a joke!
You have less to live for now, it'll be fine.
That is much better.
That's 24 to hit.
That hits.
All right. Actually, that's 24. 17 to hit, excuse me.
I was going to say, it's minus five. 17 still hits.
Okay.
If it's minus five, it'll be a 19.
Yes. Thank you. I'm doing so much. I'm good at math.
It's okay, man.
Yeah. All right. There we go. That's, again, 12, 15, 16, 18,
28 points of damage again.
28 points of damage, all right.
Poof!
If that was Daggerheart, you would've crit.
I thought about it.
Pissed me off.
All right.
The second blast, the shield shatters
and takes it in the shoulder,
and looks back in your direction.
Shield down?
The shield, some sort of psychic shield
seems to have blasted apart from the impact.
You hear in your head,
I'll devour your egos.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
Heard that before.
And 30 feet in that direction.
All right.
Cheers.
What was your target?
The thought eater thing?
Up top, yeah, that one up top.
That thought right there.
This map is fucking dope.
All right. That's the end of my turn.
All right. And I reloaded Badge.
All right, Vex, you're up with Keyleth on deck.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
All right, in that case,
I'm going to attack the person that my husband's attacking.
And I am going to...
They're floating.
Da-da-da-da-da.
Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch.
I'm going to Hunter's Mark him.
No, I can't. That's only 90 feet.
I can't do that. I'm not close enough.
You can move in to do it.
I don't want to move in to do it.
Yeah, you got all this stay away stuff.
Yeah, I'm going to stay away,
because I can stay away.
That would have been 50 feet.
I'm going to.
50 feet.
Yep.
.
70.
Fuck me, I'm running.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I'm going to Lightning Bolt, Lightning Arrow.
Is that me?
Lightning Arrow myself.
Okay.
And...
Shh!
Is that what I want to do?
Shoot it yourself.
No, wait.
If only you had more time to prepare.
Shut up!
Okay, no, this is great, okay.
Okay, shut up, okay.
I'm going to do the Sharpshooter
and I'm going to take minus five for the plus 10.
Go for it. Against which one?
The Thought Eater, up there.
Thought Eater up here? Okay, Go for it. Against which one? The Thawneater, up there. Thawneater up here? Okay, go for it.
That is...
Oh, I don't know if that's going to hit.
That is 20.
No, don't.
One.
That's 16.
16 chest hits.
Oh, phew!
Okay, okay, cool.
What, we're hitting the boss thought eater?
16, yeah, but she took a dip in the attack roll
so she could hit harder.
Yeah, so that's good. She just made it.
I just made it.
Okay, so that's 1d8
plus 1d10.
17.
17, and then, oh, plus four.
Hold on.
Just kidding. 21.
I'm nervous. I'll get it for you.
It's okay.
Where's the four?
There, no.
Plus a d4.
Here's this guy.
Shut up. Plus three.
So that was 17 plus three, so 20.
20, and then make...
Dex 30 save for lightning error?
My math is dumb.
Wait, let me start over.
Okay.
Three plus three is six, plus nine is 15,
plus 10 is 25 for the sharpshooter.
So 25. Right.
Now a dex save.
Okay. For the lightning.
All right, the sharpshooter was minus five
from that whole attack thing, too, right?
Correct. Yeah.
Yeah, okay, so dex save on that is going to be 16.
So that will fail!
Okay, let's go ahead and do some damage.
Okay, so that's 48.
Knocking the rest out.
Oh yeah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
I know this is such, so many things happening. Knocking the rest out. Oh yeah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I know there's so many things happening.
That's okay. And a lot of other people
have to go, and I'm real sorry.
Level 20.
Fair to the world.
16 plus eight is 24.
All righty.
Lightning damage.
The arrow hits.
You see as the arrow impacts and blasts,
these arcs of lightning spin around,
hitting all the different metallic parts
at the top of this wall area,
and the Thought Eater gets knocked back
and has to catch its arm on the side of the tower there.
Glances up and looks,
and you see the orb up here beginning to
begin to glow as well. Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Oh, I'm close to another. Many of the other orbs
are starting to also like. Uh-oh.
Uh-oh. I'm going to move away from that. shit. Oh, I'm close to another one. Many of the other orbs are starting to also like. Uh-oh. Uh-oh.
I'm going to move away from that one.
Where are you moving?
Oh.
Are those little mini orbs also glowing?
Not yet.
Okay, just resell the corners.
Okay, okay. You beautiful bastard.
I'm going to move out that way.
That way? How far?
Side extension.
60 feet?
Yeah, away from the orb.
For sure. If you could move,
Vex will be pretty much right,
set her right next to the...
Or a little tight, but... Summon.
Great, that's perfect.
Are there monsters over there?
No, just us.
Okay. But we're a little clumped.
But just us. But I'm up.
I'm up 60 feet.
Yeah.
That's where we get flanked from later.
Should I? Did I go the wrong way?
No, you didn't.
There's no wrong way to eat.
Are you going to finish your turn?
We were supposed to be stealthing over there.
Yeah. Well, I'm distracting
because I'm glowing above you.
Yeah. Yeah.
So I'll pull the eyeline up.
I'm going to be underground,
which is what I'm going to do.
I was debating if I do something,
but I think it's most important
if I just start heading towards where Scanlan is.
So I'm going to dip down,
and I'm going to Sprint.
I'm going to dash 30 feet.
Or sorry, it would be 60 feet total.
Right, moving twice?
Moving twice. Your speed is 35.
Not as an earth elemental.
Oh, never mind.
So 30, 30, I'll put you about.
Here you go.
Yep, we'll be in about a day.
Okay, and I'm going to stay under the ground.
I hope that that's not a mistake.
So that was, you went that far beneath?
You are currently underground right there.
Good job.
And I don't disturb the ground,
so no one should know I'm there.
Yeah, no one should.
That doesn't make a tunnel that others can follow, right?
It's earth glide, so I'm like
swimming. So you're just
swimming. One with the earth,
and one with the earth.
Liquid. All right.
That finishes your turn? Liquid, maybe.
Yeah. All right.
All right.
End of your turn.
That heavy buzzing sound gets louder and louder,
and that shadow seems to emerge out of the dust.
You see the numerous claws of a Vidalch,
but a Vidalch from above,
and of a size you've not encountered.
What?
As it descends down
and crashes into this piece of rock,
smashing it to pieces. Don't you reach back there. It's just been, it's, smashing it to pieces.
Don't you reach back there.
We see what to do, we see what to do.
Oh yeah!
They just salt-baked that shit.
It definitely killed that guy!
This guy is still beneath it.
Oh my god!
It is large enough that it was not crushed.
That's how red lobster went on a mission.
That's it, leave it there.
Huge!
I'm just leaving it.
I think my wind-up thing is underneath it.
I think my little toy is underneath it.
It's underneath it, yeah.
So keep that in mind. I will.
Oh lord.
It impacts. Oh my god, that's huge.
It flies.
From your perspective,
those who aren't on the ground next to it,
it would be Vex'ahlia and Grog atop it.
You notice that it has a massive bit of barding
and what looks to be a saddle affixed to the top of it.
It's the dude.
Where on top, you see a massive,
armored Ryloran juggernaut figure.
Oh fuck.
With spiked armor, clutching onto the front of it
with a gnarly, hook-looking mace
that hangs from one side of his armored belt
and a massive, barbed glass blade
that emerges from the other hand as he
stands up.
This psychic chatter just blasts out in the radius, filling all your minds.
Children, it's feast time!
Scrag!
Scrag? Show them a welcoming.
At which point.
Scrag!
It streaks.
You watch as its armored plates
over and out and multiple different tones,
like a discordant harmony of various screeches
emerge from the core of this Vidalche.
What?
It's going to take its turn.
What?
We are going to die.
So Scrag.
And Scrag.
And Scrag.
Scrag comes after Keelan.
Some legendary resistances.
I would say,
John saves.
Enemies against all of us are at disadvantage.
Yeah. Correct.
Scrag is going to spin first
and it's going to go ahead and take of its...
It said, spin it.
It's going to take a- Five attacks!
Yeah. Mandible strike against, it's going to take a... Five attacks! Yeah.
Mandible strike against,
I'm just going to do a couple of scytheclaw attacks
against you first, Percy.
Okay. With disadvantage.
The human?
Oh, that disadvantage saved you from an actual 20.
Fuck.
That's going to make an 11 to hit.
No.
Oh no.
Sorry, sorry.
That was 11, sorry.
21. Yes. Okay. I did the math wrong. It was 11, sorry. 21.
Yes. Okay.
I did the math wrong.
It's plus 13. Yeah, yeah.
Plus 13!
All right, so the scytheclaw attacked the first one.
I do want some Cheddar Bay Biscuits, though.
Scytheclaw.
No, not scytheclaw.
No, wait a minute. It's got armor on its armor.
Don't even.
That is 28 points of slashing damage against you.
Now. 28.
Another strike against you, Percy.
Cool.
That's going to be a 27 to hit.
That hits.
All right, you take.
These are all at disadvantage?
17, yes.
Got a major damage.
Points of damage to you.
You're plus 13.
Third scythe claw attack against you.
That's going to be 17.
Misses. Misses.
The second, it's fourth attack
is going to go against you as well.
It's going to be even less.
So four of the attacks miss on you.
It gets frustrated, turns.
It's going to do its mandible attack on you,
Leia of Taliesin, to the one that's right there.
That is going to be a 20 to hit.
Sure.
Okay.
So the 20.
The razor mandibles come at you for
21 points of piercing damage.
Okay, cool.
As well as
18 points of acid damage.
Okay.
So I need you to go and make a concentration saving throw.
Okay.
Yeah, I'm going to fuck off, yeah.
Yeah, what'd you do?
What did you do?
22.
22? Yeah.
So you do manage to maintain your concentration.
Okay.
Okay.
That's great. That's good.
That's so good.
You beat me to it.
Yeah, yeah.
Is this her Tarrasque?
Massive.
What if Tarrasque meets aliens?
Hey, you know the genetic alteration program
of the Weavemind can create some pretty amazing entities.
When the cockroach begins to fly.
Liev gave herself 120 temporary hit points.
They're gone.
All of them?
Gone at the top of this fight.
It is also now going to finish off with a Corroding Spray.
That's a 60-foot cone.
Yeah.
It's going to rear bite some
bites it until it rears back.
And emits this massive spray of acid outward.
I need Vex, your Summoned Planetar,
and Yulia, tell to make dexterity saving throws.
But we're still stealth, right?
At advantage.
And we get advantage.
Yes, everyone's at advantage.
Unfortunately, the thing you were hiding behind is gone.
I know.
Oh shit. Roll for a travel. I know. Oh shit.
Okay, roll for a shot.
Is it a dex save?
Dex save, yeah. Okay.
Ooh.
Okay. Okay, okay.
It changes around.
God, I hope it takes a reaction.
I know, it's...
I mean, of course it changes what we were going to do.
All right.
I don't think that's not moving.
It just dropped fucking.
All right, so.
19. 19.
19 and up.
You got to go.
Okay, we're fine. 19.
Wait, wait, what were you saying?
You have advantage on your saving throws, remember,
because of the spell?
Yeah.
Yes, 19.
Unfortunately, it just fails.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
I'm also, I'm a rogue.
Does that do anything?
It means if you fail, you take half damage,
and if you succeed, you take none.
Fuck. So you still take half damage.
Okay.
So it's half damage, and if you succeed, you take none. Fuck. So you still take half damage. Okay.
So his half damage for that,
three plus the half would be 19.
Take 19 points of acid damage.
Okay.
And Leo, Tel?
21 for both my planar ally, the diva.
And you? And Leo.
So 19 points of acid damage to each of you.
Make another concentration.
Tell us your shinsuke.
Just an 8th-level spell, guys.
Okay. That's better than it was
the first time, you definitely saved it.
That's, yeah, that's 23.
Okay, you're fine. Scared!
All right.
That's going to go ahead.
Sorry, how much damage did you give me
before that concentration check?
19. 19?
Yes.
All right, that's going to finish Scrag's turn.
You can just do damage and it'll take away the 10.
It is now the 20th count of the initiative.
What? What does that mean?
What does that mean? What does that mean?
The 20th count. Something else is about to happen.
Double ones, cool.
Double ones. Double ones.
Is that cool or what?
A singular Ryloran troop lands from the Bloody Bridge
as we walk away.
We definitely got that shit down.
We got it. They're going to keep popping through.
Yeah, okay.
I mean, the army is coming.
We got to stop the bridge.
Yep.
Does the beacon also turn off the bridge?
Yeah, I think the beacon would disarm the bridge.
The towers, actually, someone roll a d20 for me.
I got it.
Garbage. Garbage.
Crap.
12. 12?
Okay, okay.
Save us, Zirconos.
Zirconos, right?
I'm in the corner.
I don't even know the map, baby.
Me and Pike are having a latte.
This shit's crazy, right?
These various towers are beginning
to glow brighter and brighter.
They're not quite at full brightness,
but you can see the ghostly images
of these heavily armored ancient Rylorans
starting to appear and conjure from them.
These are just beginning to light up here
and as they're glowing and lighting up,
you see them all gathering to a center point
where like,
Jesus.
They're beginning to burble up.
But that's it for that count.
Lieve, Tell, you're up.
I didn't roll for the Planar Ally.
Last time we said it would go at the same time as me?
Yeah, we're just going to go with you.
It's easiest to keep track of.
Great.
So Lieve is going to go with you. It's easiest to keep track of. Great.
So Lieve is going to turn to the Harbinger and say, Harbinger, get me to the Malleus Key.
And she is going to cast Freedom of Movement on herself,
which is not Concentration,
so it does not conflict with Holy Aura.
Correct.
We haven't taken enough damage for me
to start doing all of that stuff,
and then I just wait to be carried.
Okay.
All right.
That finishes your job.
I'll, yeah, that's it.
Okay.
I assume I'm in its,
if I were to take 10 steps, I would get smacked, so yeah.
You get the sense, based on the length
of each of its scythe claws being about 30 to 40 feet,
you are in its reach.
Yeah, so I'll just wait.
And then, so you're now?
I'm waiting to be picked up.
Correct, but they go at the end of your turn.
Right, so the harbinger will scoop her, if possible.
Of course, yeah.
And fly low along the ground,
towards the base of the key,
towards where Scanlan was talking about being,
to try to get to the rear there.
A diva's movement is?
Flying is 90 feet. 90 feet?
See, I can fly easily over in this direction.
All right. All right.
As it leaves the attack radius of Skrag,
it does a,
that's going to go raise your mandibles.
Disadvantage. That's fine.
It is a disadvantage, correct.
Well, it's at your planetar.
Did you cast your Holy Aura on them as well?
Well, it was within 30 feet of me when I hit it.
That's true. Is there a maximum number of targets
or any creatures?
I'll double check. I don't think so.
I think it's just creatures I choose,
but let me double check.
Yeah, creatures of your choice, you're right.
Okay. So yeah, you disadvantage.
All right, so scratch checking that.
It's going to be, disadvantage is 20?
Hits. It hits?
Yeah. Okay.
So let's raise your mandibles.
That's 3d12.
That's not a great roll.
21 points of piercing damage to your planetar, plus...
That's a rougher roll.
24 points of acid damage.
The three-headed white raven is looking pretty fucked up.
Okay.
All right, so that finishes your planetar
shifting over there.
Planetar, its movement is 90?
Its flying speed is 90 feet.
So it still has an action.
I will let it carry me to the rear of the key, if possible.
The rear of the key? Yeah.
All right, so it's just going to go ahead
and shift over into this area here.
And immediately try to spot this beacon.
Okay, we'll get to that on your next turn.
Got it.
Because that was your action, just getting over there.
Yes, sir. All right.
Finishing your turn, Laettiel.
It's now the Shrike's go.
Whoa. Where's the Shrike?
Start from here. There's one there, one there.
Oh, all the Shrikes. And there's one under here.
The Shrike?
This Shrike is going to go ahead and...
Hmm.
Speed 50.
This one's going to charge up to Percival.
Ah!
Oh god.
Why?
So there.
This one here is going to go ahead and leap.
Interesting.
Shh.
And then rush off in this direction to go after Grog. This one here is going to leap. Interesting. Shh. Then rush off in this direction to go after Grog.
This one here is going to
shift.
This one here as well.
We're so spread out.
It's going to hold its action.
Mm-hmm.
That's right.
Hold its action? I hate that.
All right, finishing the strike scope.
Grog, you're up with Scanlan on deck.
Yeah, so when I ran out here,
I used my action, my bonus action,
and my bonus action with my boots of feral leaping.
And I'll use them again.
I'm going to try and leap up onto this platform.
Okay.
And say, over here!
So can I just prop up here?
No, we'll just say I'm up there.
Because I don't want to have another fight.
Sure. And can I take,
I'm going to take two attacks against this column,
knowing that the Titanstone Knuckles do Siege Stim.
Yes. Oh, yes!
Okay.
Let's go.
Minasur makes me so happy. Me too. 18 plus two. You such a! Okay, let's go. Sorry, Midnight Star makes me so happy.
Me too.
18 plus two.
You're such a big boy.
30 to hit.
That definitely hits.
You can roll damage.
Goosh!
The second one is 28 to hit.
28 hits, yeah.
Goosh!
You're still raging from the previous battle?
Yes, indeed.
Not frenzied or anything.
Correct. Just 12s. Is that E? Yes, indeed. Yeah. Not frenzied or anything. Correct.
Just 12s. Is that me?
Yes.
Who's going bling bling?
It's me, but I've turned my phone off twice.
There's a little, I'll next one, I do side.
That's 27 points of damage on the first one.
Double.
The siege.
Sorry, 54.
All right.
Heavy impact, the whole pair
cracks and the spider up the front. I forgot about that part. All right. Heavy impact, the whole pillar cracks.
And the spider up the front.
I forgot about that part.
Kick ass.
11, 21.
I'm not worried about hurting the beacon.
It's a magical change.
28.
That was the first hit.
56 on the second one.
Jeez.
One, two!
No!
This entire pillar is destroyed.
With you on it, go ahead and make
an acrobatics check for me.
Oh yeah.
Big boy!
Just going to land a dismount.
Three point, three point.
Oh, look at that.
21.
21, okay.
So you managed to catch yourself.
Corn Pops!
Oh, one foot up.
Ah, that sprained an ankle.
Without taking any heavy bludgeoning damage.
Like pop an ankle a little bit,
it's going to hurt in the morning, but you're okay.
Nice.
I will use...
That was my attack.
I have my bonus action for the boots.
I'll say half your movement,
I'll say 20 feet of movement to climb up
the pillar to hit it. Great.
I'll do 25 feet just to see if I can see
if there's anybody in this tent
that's going to make my life miserable if I was here.
Sure.
Five, 10, 15, 20, 25.
Can I see in?
You glance inside and you see two vanguard soldiers
who are cowering in the corner. They're both like, they're shield, you see two vanguard soldiers
who are cowering in the corner. They're both holding shields
or have them at the ready, they're weapons,
and they're both hiding in the corner
and they see you and go,
If you don't want this, stay inside.
They just nod.
They look young.
Aw.
Okay.
Let's kill them.
All right, that finishes your go.
All right, Grog's done. Scanlan, you're up.
Can I see the beacon?
From under here?
Uh-huh.
Make a perception check.
The beacon.
The beacon.
15 plus two.
Not from where you currently are, unfortunately.
Goddamn it!
Do I get any advantage or something
from all the shit we have?
You're a horse! What about horse eyes?
What do you a horse eye see, Scanlan?
What do a horse eye see?
You're a man horse eyes.
It's because you can only see one side at a time
because you've got prey eyes.
Yeah, yeah.
I can't see it, but it was described to me by someone.
Keyleth? Yeah, we described it.
Yeah. The higher ups.
It was described to, yeah, from the group.
And was it described as being high up in the tower,
mid tower, low tower?
Yeah, it was placed higher up in the tower.
Keyleth, you watched it, well, mostly watched it happen.
I watched it happen, yes.
Remember, you have freedom of movement,
so if we make rough terrain, you're good.
Great, great.
All right. If we make rough terrain.
I'm just going to start punching the tower then, right?
Because we got to get- You mean horse kicking.
You're going to punch the tower?
Yeah.
With your hand?
With my hand.
With Scanlan's hand!
Yeah, baby.
I'm going to cast Scanlan's hand at 6th-level.
Okay.
And I'm going to punch the tower.
You're going to punch the tower.
Punch the tower.
The time has come to.
We need to make sure to take the beacon
before we destroy the tower.
Take it? If we get the beacon. I don't know where to take the beacon before we destroy this tower. Take it?
Ah!
If we get the beacon. I don't know where it is.
Yeah, we haven't seen it yet.
If we start destroying the tower,
we'll figure out where the beacon is.
Okay.
No sense waiting.
I think last time, Ludinus was damn near the top,
or at least three quarters up,
like where the stairs went to,
which they fell last time, too.
So it was hard to, he was floating,
which was why he was able to put it in.
I apologize, I think my Scanlan's hand mini
that I made all these years ago
is somewhere in the other room,
so I will use this temporary one.
Ashley, you have a little rubber hand somewhere, don't you?
I can use this one.
Okay, that'll work.
We know, don't you?
You have a foot in the ice.
It's fine.
All right, so where do you conjure it?
It's fine.
Huh? Where do you conjure it?
Yeah, sort of up at the same level
as that Ryloren who just stepped off.
Okay.
I can't punch the Ryloren and the tower, right?
I've got to pick one.
How many attacks does your?
One. One?
No, you can't do that.
I don't know how I got that.
Okay, I will punch.
I'm just going to punch the tower.
All right, go ahead and roll for an attack.
Oh god.
Yeah, maybe you can reveal it.
Maybe if you're stripping away at it.
Okay, to hit.
What do I fucking, I've never done this
in so many years.
Melee spell attack, okay.
That's a 16 to hit the tower?
16.
It hits the tower.
It impacts it, and as the mass of your Archon fist
slams into it, you see the tower.
Whatever impact is there, the Bloody Bridge flickers
for a minute, but then holds it steady.
It looks like it wasn't quite enough
to leave a heavy impact.
Oh no.
It has a higher AC than my punch did.
Oh shit.
How much did you hit it? What was the damage?
There was no damage. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Because it has a higher AC than my fist.
I rolled really bad. Okay.
Okay, that's it, I guess.
That's your action?
Yes. Do I move, or?
If I move, I'll be out in the open, though.
That's true. I don't want people to see me.
Hold on, do I have any bonus actions?
I must.
I have Healing Word.
I must.
I will Healing Word myself.
Oh wait, that's a spell, can't do it.
Can't do it. Go to, you know.
You're invisible?
No, I'm just hiding.
He's just a centaur.
He's just a centaur.
I'm just a sweet little centaur.
Doesn't Scanlan do a bunch of shit?
Yeah, I know.
I can inspire, but there's no one around me to inspire.
I'm good, that's it.
Level 20, baby!
We got a small turn! Yes!
Level 20! Level 20!
There we go.
We are on. All right.
Finishing Scanlan's turn,
it is now the Thunder King Ozo Kruth's turn.
Boo. Fuck.
Ozo glancing around from on top,
his mount lets go of the front of the
saddle-like throne that's built onto the back of Skrag, his vdolch.
He leans on it on one side and glances around.
And First is going to go ahead
and he sees that Percy's engaged there.
Let's see.
We have tell when he flew over there.
I am behind.
Yeah, he's...
Yeah, he sees you, Vex, in the air, and he goes,
and take his glass sword and release it,
and it hovers in the air, and he goes,
and fires off to you, 60-foot length.
To, you are in range.
So he's going to attack you with disadvantage.
Okay.
Over here, with Carnage.
Carnage. Carnage, what?
This is the name of his last sword.
Oh, that's the name of his sword? Okay.
Oh, a natural 20 and it's disadvantage.
So it's only going to be a 22 to hit?
That hits. Okay.
But I think the Dawnfather would consider him an enemy.
Oh, excuse me.
So if he hits me,
he's going to take 4d6 radiant damage and be knocked prone.
Ooh.
All right.
Is it melee or is it any attack?
Any attack or spell.
Okay.
That hits me.
All right.
So he strikes you with this.
You take...
Is that a water?
24 points of slashing damage,
or sorry, piercing damage,
as it and it stabs you in the side.
As it sticks in, you can feel the barbed edge of it
poke into your flesh through the armor,
but you go ahead and blast him.
All right.
So he takes 4d6 radiant damage.
All righty.
Also, Matt, I don't think we should retcon backward,
but any attack against someone with Holy Aura on them,
the attacker must succeed on a con save
or be blinded until the spell ends.
Well, that's good to know.
So go forward with that.
We'll go forward with that for now.
Vex forward.
Correct.
Does that justify to her?
Everyone got hit with Holy Aura, so.
Irruh.
So anytime any of you successfully get hit by an enemy,
the enemy has to make a con save versus blindness.
Correct, blindness, which would give them
disadvantage on attack rolls, which they already have
against targets with it on there.
So it wouldn't have made that much of a difference
given the circle of defenses. It would be funny
to watch you make them blind, though.
It would be, though.
And maybe that'll happen.
So how much damage was that again?
That was? 17 radiant damage.
All right, 17 radiant damage.
And he blasts it back onto his saddle,
spends half his movement to get back up into it.
And now the blade is stuck in your side and he goes,
and pulls the blade and you with it.
Oh shit!
He went fishing!
You are dragged into melee with him.
Take his mouth. Take his mouth.
Get over here. Okay.
Don't worry.
As he drags you up into his face,
you can see now the massive size of him.
He almost encompasses the entirety of your perspective,
just blades and armor.
From beneath the massive war helmet,
you see his jaw drip with saliva.
In your head, you hear,
I want to feast, too.
He's going to continue with his actions.
Feast on what?
He's going to take one attack.
He gets...
I feel bad, like a bear.
He has some left over bacon in the place.
You know what, actually?
As he pulls the blade back,
he reaches and pulls out his mace.
That's all nasty and barbed bone graver.
Yeah, he does have a horrible looking face.
And is going to go ahead and attack you
three times with the mace.
Jeez! Okay.
That's going to be a 21 to hit.
Disadvantage?
A disadvantage, yeah.
That hits. All right.
That's going to be a 19 to hit.
That misses.
Okay, so second one misses, and,
oh, two and a three!
That's going to be a 16 to hit.
Okay.
So one hit with Bonegraver on you.
Okay. Bonegraver!
Cool!
Bonegraver.
17 points of bludgeoning damage on you.
17, okay.
One heavy hit cracks down on your head and shoulders.
The other one comes at you and you pull back.
The instinctual need to get away from danger.
It takes 11 radiant damage from that.
Okay.
And is knocked prone.
Is it every time he gets a hit?
Every time I get hit. Yeah, let's go.
Gets knocked down again, gets back up
with the rest of his movement,
and continues with the next two attacks that miss you.
Okay.
All righty.
That is going to finish his turn.
Does he need to make con saves for every successful hit?
Huh? I want him to act blind.
Yeah, that's right.
Con save, that's going to be 23.
That's a save.
And 20.
That's a save. Okay.
He gets back at me,
the last couple attacks on you, he goes like,
and when he starts screaming,
you see, much like his Vidalche,
the armored flaps on his neck streak outward
and this loud noise shrill pierces outward.
The ground begins to.
You hear in your heads, it's more like,
Join, join the dinner time.
Oh, babies.
The ground over my grog
bursts out and you watch as this massive, strange,
invertebrate worm armored creature
with spines along its body
bursts out of the ground.
What is happening?
And look down.
Oh god.
Whoa!
What?!
Oh, that is horrific, though.
The spine hurts. What the shit?
Oh my god!
This is Flash of the Titans.
Vorak, take your pick.
Vorak!
And as the creature turns its head down
in your direction, Grog, you can see
its mouth opens wide and there are dozens
of smar-like, arm-like tendrils
like reaching out from inside.
Oh no, no!
It's going to take its action on you.
No!
I think you think we're better than we are, Matt.
That's what the nuns told me sex was like.
How did they know? Jesus.
Oh my god.
While you are not present,
this is roughly the size of the tunnel
that you guys had walked through on Ruidus.
Oh my god.
So it's going to go ahead.
Vorak, Ozo's Bane Worm,
is going to make two strikes on you, Grog.
Jeez.
Dildo nightmares.
Using their nipples.
First attack on you with disadvantage.
Okay.
It's going to be 19 to hit.
Oh, that's what I see.
Yeah, so that hits you. You take...
Look at the gold.
Okay.
That is so...
That's kind of a shitty roll.
29 points of piercing damage.
Okay. Reduced to half
because you're raging.
So that'd be? 18?
No, it'd be 14. 14, sorry.
14 points to you.
Sorry.
Succeed on a dexterity save for me, if you don't mind.
Yes.
18. 18? 18.
18?
18.
As it smashes towards you
and the hands reach for you,
you can feel the ends of these weird finger tendrils
that come out of its mouth are all serrated,
dragging across your flesh,
which is where all the piercing damage comes from,
and its mouth begins to close around you,
but in that moment where the darkness
almost swallows you whole, you pull out of the way
and manage to avoid being consumed.
Holy shit!
Wow, an enlarged Grog almost gets swallowed.
Is he within five feet of me,
or does he have this crazy 15-foot like?
I mean, he emerged right next to you.
Could I use my reaction to use a retaliation strike?
You can indeed, yes you can.
To fight off this crazy-ass Yes, you can. beastie.
16, that's 22.
Goddamn. 26 to hit?
That hits. Okay, great.
It's just one.
So that is...
Oh yeah, 11, so 21.
Okay, okay.
Plus, 21, 27, plus four.
31 points of damage
with four points of necrotic damage.
Nice. Cool.
Heavy strike carves through and parts of its exposed body
send out this really thick,
almost maple syrup consistency.
Icarus scatters across the scene
and darkens it immediately on contact.
He's coming back for more!
At that point, it's going to use a second attack
to use Bane Spines.
Its body, all of its armored body,
pulls in tight and contracts before releasing,
and you watch as a number of its exterior spines
shoot off in a 15-foot radius.
Oh my god.
Since you're the only one within that 15-foot radius,
make another dexterity save for me.
Okay, okay.
Do the little baddies on the other side of it get
That guy is, you know what?
That guy is...
Tough call.
He's just out, he's about 20 feet away, yeah.
19.
19 succeeds, you only take half damage
and are not poisoned.
The flaccid wrinkles on this side of the worm are nauseating.
Flaccid. Yeah.
I know.
23 reduced to half because you succeeded would be 11,
reduced to half because you are raging,
so you take five points of piercing damage.
That's going to finish Vorak's turn.
Sirkonos, you're up with Pike on deck.
Yeah, yeah!
There it is!
Let's go, Sirkonos!
Let's go, let's go!
Let's go, let's go! Yeah, yeah, it's all over. Oh, yeah. Let's go, Sparrow! Sure, sure, sure! Let's go, Sparrow!
Yeah, yeah, it's all over.
Oh, oh.
I'm a fur-kono!
Easy on me, you know.
If I could use my movement to climb,
can I mantle this wall and try to climb up here?
Is a fire elemental?
Yeah, you just say, uh.
It has two meanings.
Oh, wait, what are you going to do?
It goes with the fire? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Basically right up there, yeah, yeah.
So it just looks like that wall is on fire
as it just lands up on there.
I like to try to get within maybe 15 feet of him, sort of.
You should probably get right to the edge there.
Yeah, yeah, face to face.
Then he's just going to raise his big firearms out
and you just see these little sparks.
Five little fireballs shoot up.
As you see it, it materializes,
because I'm going to cast, at level five, Conjure Animals.
They take the form of these little peregrine falcons.
Cool. Fastest bird on the planet.
246 miles per hour, baby, I'll look it up! I'm going to get some.
Yeah.
Let's get more things on the board.
I can theater-bind this if you need it.
It's all good, it's all good.
It's all good, let's go.
I can make this work.
You can find the SR-71 Blackbird intake turbines
after the Peregrine Falcon's nostril holes.
That makes sense. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Nerd! Nerd!
Nerd!
If a human traveled without speed,
the flesh would rip off of its body.
Whoa.
Wow.
That's not a military fact.
That's a bird fact.
There we go.
We use all these little guys here.
Sure, sure.
They're my little homies.
And if I move on my turn while I cast it,
I can send them within,
send them out, like up to 30 feet.
Are they going up to here?
Yeah, I'm going to send them like,
this is with Vex there, it's tough,
but I want to try to send them bombing in a line,
kind of like right like that.
So where they're going to avoid hitting Vex,
but potentially have to make the Sunder King
and his mount do a dex save.
Sure, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
So it would be, when they come within 10 feet of them,
it's 19 dex for both of them.
He's going to go ahead and take his for each one of them?
I think so. Let me double check.
How do they behave? Do they behave like familiars?
Can they do the help action?
It's basically I can just move them,
and then they take X amount of damage
based on what level I set them on.
So whenever your pack moves within 10 feet of a creature,
you can see when, of a creature,
I wonder if that's one or, yeah.
What's this, of a creature, any creature that moves?
Of a creature. Yeah.
I'll pick the, yeah, the Sunderking for sure.
Well, it says, whenever it moves within a creature,
meaning if it moves through multiple,
that makes sense to me.
Okay, yeah, cool, all right. All right, so the
center king will do first.
19 dex save.
19 dex save.
I'll just roll five dice for him right now.
Okay, the ones that look viable
are going to be a 20 and a 22.
Oh yeah, they're both saved.
Okay, the others are going to be the highest as a 15.
That one does not.
Yeah, so three of them go through.
Okay.
How much damage is that to him?
Oh, for, oh wait.
I think it's one total for the whole pack.
Okay.
Yeah, it's one dex save for the whole pack.
Got it, okay. Yeah.
That's going to be an eight.
Okay, yeah.
So that one fails. Yep.
So then it's 5d10.
Go ahead and roll 5d10 fire damage to you.
Then I'll roll for the,
oh, it's a natural two for Scrag.
So both of them take the fire damage.
Eight, six, 14, 19, 23, 24.
And it's actually technically,
technically what? I think it's slashing. What was it, technically, what?
I think it's slashing. What was it, slashing damage? Slashing damage.
Okay, that's fine.
They both take slashing damage.
Yeah.
As they all arc by,
the belated movement of these incredibly fast creatures
that you see them just
arcing past and through and are floating now
around the wings, the strange, veined wings of scrag
that are just like,
as it's not currently flying at the moment.
The blading streaks by and Ozo
looks up and sees you.
And it just doesn't seem to pay mind
other than the wounds it took.
And it has one eye on you before the other
begins to shift back towards Vex'ahlia
with his mace in his right hand.
It gives you a little bit of, with his bladed arm,
like a come hither hand motion.
Can I ask you before you move on?
Yeah. The blade that's
through me right now?
He pulled it free from you.
Thank you. Yeah.
He essentially, when he dragged you in,
psychically pulling the blade back and pulling you with it,
he pulled it out as you arrived
and then picked it with the mace.
Got it. Thank you.
Yeah. All right.
So that's going to go ahead and finish that action.
That's your turn? Yeah, that ends up for me.
All right, great.
Finishing, you're up. Pike, you're up.
All right.
So what I would like to do.
By Ashley Johnson.
All right.
I'm over here.
Okay, so if I...
I would like to...
You may walk out.
Yeah, but I want to stay tucked.
But I want to do a sunburst on the
the Malleus Key.
Okay, what's the range on that?
It is 150 feet, but it's a 60-foot radius.
Okay.
Let's see, 150 feet. This is 85.
It's...
You'd have to get a little bit closer to get that range. Okay, I'll get within range.
But, um.
You'll be 20 feet this way to get in range.
You'll be just out of the combat range of the Midulj.
I'll do it. All right.
So Marisha, if you could help move Pike
four spaces this way at an angle.
Two, three, four, like that.
One more? I have 40 feet
of movement with the wings.
Correct. Do you want to keep moving
or do you want to stay put?
Oh, yeah, okay. I'll stay there.
I see what you mean. Okay.
So where's Team Malyuski around there?
From what you can see,
the only one that you see is flying on this side.
You see the conjured three-headed raven of Liev'tel
currently flying up on this side of the tower.
Okay, because if there's some way I can do this
without hitting everybody and just focusing on
the Malleus Key, I would like to try.
Okay.
So you are focusing in this area?
It's a 60-foot radius, you said?
Yeah.
All right, so you want to flash out from the top outward.
Yeah, flash out from the top.
It's a 60-foot radius. All those fucks you can get.
That's going to be probably right there.
Okay. In which case,
you're missing Lieve Tull and her Conjuration,
but you're hitting everything else in this area.
Damn.
Including, not Ozo,
but you are getting his scrag.
Okay. Fucking badass.
All right. What are you hitting?
What are you hitting? I'm hitting the scrag. Okay, help me with some Fucking badass. All right. What are you hitting? What are you hitting?
I'm hitting the Scrag.
Okay, help me with some math.
I got you.
What spell is it?
It's 12d6 radiant damage.
Fuck.
Okay, wait, wait, wait.
It's true.
Okay.
A minus tri.
Radiant damage!
Okay.
The Everlight bless us on this day.
Oh, what balls rolls.
Oh, okay.
So we got...
Nine, 19.
What are the fucking tiny ass...
I'm sorry, I know.
Okay, 28.
While they're adding,

All right, that's 32 points of radiant damage.
32 points of radiant damage.
All right, let's go ahead and roll
for everybody that's in that radius.
So we'll start with Scrag over here.
Take that, Scrag. 32, you said?
Yeah. Natural one.
Yay!
Scrag takes 32 points of radiant damage.
Constitution, 19.
This guy up here in the front,
that's going to be a 19.
That just makes it.
So 19's your spell DC? Yeah.
Okay, so he takes half damage.
There.
He takes...
He's getting pretty hurt.
All right, this guy over here,
that's going to be an 18?
18 fails? Fails.
All right, so he took some fire damage.
He gets blasted into ash from that.
It's scattered aside.
This guy over here, he fails as well.
It's 32, right?
32.
What'd you say? 32.
Was it 36? 32.
32, yeah.
He takes 32 points of radiant damage.
He is singed badly by it.
Over there, that fellow is going to be a natural 20.
So he takes half of that.
He takes 16 on that end, so he takes half of that.
He takes 16 on that end, but is still injured by it.
This guy back here, that side, he fails,
and he takes...
He's hurt pretty bad.
And the guy at the top there,
he's going to go ahead and fail as well.
And so he takes...
32. Are you taking any damage?
All righty, so that blast,
that light burst of light burns him.
Did he take any damage at all?
Hmm? Does the key,
like the key, because I was also trying to just...
The tower? The tower, sorry.
The tower?
It is a sunburst of radiant energy.
Here's what I'll say.
It does not damage the tower,
but what it does is it is a very bright burst of light,
which lights up all the nooks and crannies
of its odd maze-like construction.
So I'll say for the next round,
anybody who wants to inspect the tower
gets to do so at advantage because of your burst.
Cool. Okay.
So that's what I'll say,
because I'll say the tower probably would not be subjected
to the radiant damage of the sunburst.
However, the effect of the sunburst is on a failed save.
They are blinded for one minute, right?
Yeah.
So for that.
So DC 19.
Scrag is blinded?
Blinded, Scrag is blinded.
Blinded.
Cross the line.
I can do this.
I should know how to do this.
Failed it.
Blinded.
Correct.
Scrag didn't have any sort of
legendary reaction to that, did it? Yeah, it did. I did. Correct. Scrag didn't have any sort of legendary reaction to that, did he?
Yeah, it did.
Scrag fucking did a poison cone and also.
No, but like, legendary. That was just the end of its action.
Oh. Legendary save.
All right, Pike, does that finish your turn?
Yes, that finishes my turn.
All right, end of your turn.
Ozo's going to go ahead and use his legendary action.
What?
I don't understand. Ozo is the guy on ahead and use his Legendary Action. What? I don't understand.
Ozo is the guy on Scrag?
Mm-hmm.
And is going to use...
What's the one that's mounted?
His turn, Ozo, when was his turn?
Was it after?
Special Agent Ozo?
Ozo was after Scanlan.
He spends all three of his Legendary Actions
on Beast My Pants.
And both Scrag and Vorak both get to make an immediate melee attack. Oh! all three of his legendary actions on Feast My Pants.
Both Scrag and Vorak both get to make
an immediate melee attack.
Awesome.
So Vorak is going to go ahead
and spin around this way.
That is like the deluxe monster for any toy in the 80s.
Yeah.
It's so cool.
Make it up for all the toys my parents couldn't afford
when I was a kid.
It's going to turn and going to go try
and take a mandible bite on you, Percy.
All right. Has disadvantage.
It is blinded.
However, it does have blindsight.
But it's still at disadvantage anyway.
Correct. Disadvantage.
Well. I thought it might.
So against you, that's going to be 19 to hit.
Fuck a duck.
Does that hit? Yeah.
Okay. Just barely.
That's all right. Well, you take,
from its land,
Ooh.
34 points of piercing damage.
Ew.
Along with?
Along with?
Oh, that's a bad roll.
13 points of acid damage.
Okay.
I hate that.
That's awful.
I need you to make a strength saving throw for me.
Okay.
Strength saving throw advantage.
You have advantage.
No, please, thank you. Not advantage.
Not advantage.
Oh, thank god, because I rolled a one.
19?
19 succeeds.
You are not pulled into its mandibles and restrained.
Oh my god. Cool.
I think that's a seven.
I think you guys should have rolled a seven.
No, there's a seven.
It doesn't matter. You rolled higher on the other die.
Okay, well, that's okay.
Yeah, thank you.
Again, yeah, thank you.
This is where I'm at.
All righty.
Finishing that go.
Vorak is going to make another attack on you, Grog,
with disadvantage.
Disadvantage, it's going to be 20.
Hits. Hits, okay.
So with that, another grasping bite on you.
Ah!
Four points of damage.
28 points of piercing damage.
Abbed, abbed, abbed, abbed.
So 28 points of piercing damage reduced to 14.
So you take 14 points of piercing damage.
Nice.
I need you to make another strength saving throw.
Okay. Sorry, dexterity saving throw.
Dexterity saving.
Which you have advantage on because you are a barbarian.
Oh, not good.
Did you roll with advantage?
Yep. Okay.
Four and a three, that's a six.
Oh!
As Grog is slamming his axe into this creature,
feasting time indeed has begun as Vorak
bites down on Grog and pulls back
and Grog is nowhere in sight.
No!
Yeah!
All righty.
Get me closer.
That's a first.
It was close, Jok'B.
That is all the Sunderkings legendary actions to do that.
I don't think he's ever fought anything
The Vanguard that are blind.
This one's going to rush off in this direction.
He did not see Grog get eaten,
so he's going to run over this way
and dash to try and get to where he is.
Get eaten, too.
But doesn't know where Grog is.
This gentleman here is going to go ahead
and rush over this way to join the fray,
and then trip and fall, and then dash over,
and that's his turn.
He's just like,
Imagine for Keyleth this sounds like
living on the bottom floor of an apartment complex.
It's just like.
This one here is going to
put its back against the side,
put its shield up, and get out of any eyesight,
and is holding down to defend the stairs.
I mean, this thing went past you.
This one here is going to go ahead and
move over to here because it sees the Avtel
currently flying up in the air by the front there,
and it's going to attempt to
shoot a jagged dart at you.
Two jagged darts.
Disadvantage of each.
The first one is going to be,
you guys have avoided some natural 20s
because of that disadvantage.
It's good.
22 to hit.
Yes, it hits.
You take eight points of piercing damage.
Make a constitution saving throw.
The second one is a 14 to hit, which I think is a good thing. Misses.
That's really high.
That is a 21.
Yeah, you're fine.
And the one up top here can't quite get to you,
but it's going to go ahead and...
Actually, it hits on top and it's blind at the moment,
and it notices the top of the stairs.
Is it going to try?
Is it going to feel around with his hood?
It's going to try and make it.
Should've put handrails.
Here, all right, here's what I'm going to say.
Because this is fun, because you guys put this on here.
Since you're the one that cast it to make them blind.
Oh no, no, the blind side is you from the daylight.
So go ahead and roll 2d20s for me.
You're rolling perception with disadvantage on them.
So roll and add three with disadvantage.
Okay, 12.
12.
Takes a few steps here and then.
Puppets off for another six points.
Yay!
Six points of bludgeoning damage.
Crack! Hits it and is like.
It is really hurt and prone.
That's its turn.
All right, that finishes their go.
Now the Thot Eaters go.
Oh my god!
So this Thot Eater is still running.
Don't worry, round one's over soon.
Is this all happening after Pike?
Yeah, still round one.
Okay, so I'm going to put Pike a bunch of stuff.
All Beth. Oh yeah, actually,
that's a bunch of stuff.
But it was because Ozo took his legendary actions,
three legendary actions at the end of Pike's turn.
This one here is going to go ahead and focus
in the center of the beam where it's crackling upward.
And it's going to channel its attention
through that focal point to give it an extended range
of power on what it's doing.
That's a cool idea.
And to that point, it's going to go.
Wait through one of the little ballies?
Through all of them combined,
he's using it to amplify his spells.
It's going to attempt to
mind ravage
Pike, since Pike's the one that blasted out the thing.
Okay.
Its range is absurd, so you are definitely in the way.
It has disadvantage to strike you, though.
Fucking, you guys, there's so many natural 20s
that have been ignored because of this.
Holy shit.
It's still a 21 to hit?
Nope. Nope?
Oh. What?
So its first Mind Ravage misses.
It's going to go for a second one, angrily.
You glance over in the direction,
you see it glowing and this weird pulsing,
almost like an extension of a shockwave,
like, heading towards you. It gleans off your armor and hits the ground shockwave, like, heading towards you.
It gleams off your armor and hits the ground.
A second one's coming towards you.
That one is going to be a 23.
That just hits.
Oh, okay, it gets you one.
That mind ravage is going to hit you for...
22 points of psychic damage.
Okay.
You cannot take reactions until the end of its next turn.
Ew.
As your brain is suddenly blasted
with angry psychic energy. Ow, ow, ow!
All righty.
This one over here, since it's only within range of you,
Liatel, you rush to the key, man,
and they're all right there.
It's going to attempt to psychic slam you
off of your mount.
Oh my god.
Blast, here it comes.
Another natural 20, and then followed by a 16.
Plus 10, so 26 to hit?
Definitely hits.
All right, so you take...
How are you feeling?
Feeling it.
12 points of psychic damage.
Okay.
I need you to make a,
no, you're just moving 15 feet of struts.
I'm going to give myself 120.
Yep.
Temporary hit points that are gone
and I've dipped below.
The abtilla usually survives.
So you get yanked off of your mount
and you plummet to the ground,
make an acrobatics check for me.
You got this. What was the damage
for the psychic was 12, you said?
Yes. Okay.
Okay.
This is a save?
This is an acrobatics check.
Acrobatics check.
Don't we have potions?
We have potions.
That's not great.
That's an eight.
Is that Bell of Sols? An eight.
You take three points of bludgeoning damage
from the impact and you do land prone.
Okay.
From there, with its secondary attack,
it's going to lean over and it's going to attempt to psychic ravage you while you're on the ground. and you do land prone. Okay. From there, with its secondary attack,
it's going to lean over and it's going to attempt
to psychic ravage you while you're on the ground.
The disadvantage on that, that's going to be...
Yeah, 11.
20?
Yeah. 20 hits you?
Yeah. Okay.
So your mind is suddenly assaulted
by its psychic capabilities,
carrying into you for...
Wait, this is a second attack for 15 points of psychic damage.
Yes. And you cannot take reactions until the end of your next turn.
Okay.
Did I see or hear that second attack?
I'm crashing to the ground in front of your location.
You hear, you watch the ebb and tail
just slam into the ground,
bounce on the ground and then hit.
Then suddenly clutch her head.
You do not see anything else coming for her.
So I can't counter spell the attack
since I don't see where it's coming from.
You cannot see anything.
You're hiding in the corner, which makes you.
And I can't Cutting Words it
because I can't see the attacker.
Okay, great. Unfortunately, yeah.
I should get out in the open now.
But I need you to make two constitution saving throws.
Technically three, because you hit three times.
Okay, I save on the first.
Well, I don't know, it's a 19 on the first.
All the damage was low enough
where you just need to roll a tenner.
Oh, okay, all right.
One round, I love it.
That's so cool.
Second one is a fail.
Really? Yeah.
Okay, Holy Aura drops.
Eighth-up spot on all of Really? Yeah. Okay, Holy Aura drops. Eighth-elves, Bob. On all of us?
Yep. No!
No!
You all feel the protection of the aura fade from you
as that little candle lightens.
I am full of benefits for you.
You dropped, you dropped?
We're not going to let you die.
Where are you? This time.
You're right at the thing?
Yeah, I'm at the base. Right at the base.
How'd you get up there so close to all the bad stuff?
You should be slow. Why am I up at the base. Right at the base. How'd you get up there so close to all the bad stuff? You, you, you.
Chetney? Why am I up here?
I'm trying to move.
So wait, you're up here?
Chetney is a little further.
Because you lost concentration?
Yes.
Fuck!
Yes.
This time, I'm the king.
We only have for a minute.
That's going to finish their turn.
Back at the top, Percy, you're up.
Vex on deck.
Oh my god.
This is, fuck. This is a ticket to Chet top. Percy, you're up, and Vex on deck. Oh my god. This is, fuck.
This is a ticket to Germany.
Okay, so.
Yeah, boy.
You know.
It's a roller coaster.
So if I have Quick Study,
can I use a bonus action to take a look and study,
or am I too far away to take a good look at that?
Because of her spell, it is, based on a...
So are you trying to inspect its construction?
Make? What are you looking for?
I'm looking for...
That'll change the roll.
I'm looking for weaknesses.
I'm looking for objects that clearly can be,
like, I have a sense of, like,
we're supposed to remove some sort of source.
Okay, perception or investigation check, your call.
That would be...
You have advantage on this
because of your sunburst last round.
That would be investigation.
Yes, that would be investigation.
All right, go ahead and roll an investigation check
with advantage.
Come on, Percy, do what you do.
Yeah, it's not bad.
Investigation.
28.
28. Okay.
You glance over and see, as the glow is dissipating
from that sunburst, you can see throughout all the
spider webbing network of arcane runes
that weave through it, all of them seem to push
to two certain points on the tower.
There's one right over here,
and there's one right below
where the glow of the Bloody Bridge is.
So you know these two points here are important,
right here and right here.
Okay. So you're able
to ascertain from your distance.
Okay, so...
And, okay, just making a point.
All right.
So that's just perception.
Do I still have my whole turn,
or did that burn something?
Up to you.
You glance over, it's glowing,
you take it in there.
I'll say a little burn bonus action.
Okay. I'll allow that.
That's fine. You're level 20.
You can glance at things and pick it up pretty quickly.
All right. You're Percy fucking DeRollo.
I was going to say, technically,
quick study is a bonus action, so that would make sense.
Oh yeah, quick study, yeah, you're fine.
All right, I've got that fucker.
Oh, and also, where's my toy?
Where's Anders?
Can I see him between the legs or no?
You can't see him, he's like.
So how far away is that toy from me right now?
I'm so sorry to ask you.
From you, it's about.
Yeah, I just want to see where it's sitting.
About 20 feet from you.
Here, I'll put it right there.
All right, it's about 20 feet from you?
I don't know.
We'll call it 20.
All right.
I am Steven Root.
And these guys, how fearsome do these guys look?
And did it look like he's looking rough,
or is he fine up there?
He's looking pretty rough.
Vex fucked him up at the very beginning.
Also, Vex forgot to take a certain second shot at him
on the first round. Don't worry, Vex.
It's fine.
We'll get the glory.
So he would be fucking dead, probably, and then Leotel would be fine.
This guy is very blind and stumbling.
Okay. That shrike is dangerous.
You see a Ryloran rushing towards you,
itself surrounded in serrated, bladed chains,
and it's moving quickly,
and it looks like it's whirling the chain around it
psychically while having arm blades,
like Predator, out at the ready.
All right, I suppose we're doing this.
I'm going to step a little bit around.
I'm not leaving his, yeah, I'm going right there.
Yep, right there.
Right next to both of them?
Hopping in, I'm pulling out my walking stick,
giving a little tap, suddenly about 60, actually it has a name, so.
You're not here to do it.
No, we're going.
I pull out my Greythorn stick, give it a little tap.
About 100 little tiny razor blades pop out.
I look for a soft point,
and I'm just going to take a slashing attack.
Okay, which one, the blind one or the?
No, the one right, that one, the Shrike.
Okay, go for it.
Greythorn.
And no advantage on this, I assume. Not against the Shrike. Not against the blind one, or the? No, the one right, that one. The Shrike. Okay, go for it. The Shrike. And no advantage on this, I assume.
Not against the Shrike.
Not against the Shrike, okay.
Let's see what happens.
19?
19?
Oh wait.
13.
17.
17?
Chest misses.
All right.
One attack. It's quick. All right. It's one attack. It's a break.
I'm going to take another attack.
That hits. 17, 27, 28, 30.
Yeah, that hits.
All right, so that's one new toy.
That's just going to be
Dexter Keyleth.
10 points of damage.
All right, 10 points of damage to All right, 10 points damage to it.
Takes the hit.
I'm then going to fencing stab it forward
and pull a little hidden trigger.
And I'm going to shoot him with the Graythorn Thornstick.
Okay.
And I'm going to burn a point for forceful shot.
Okay.
Burning point of Grit.
Please, man, don't fuck this up.
That's 15, 23?
23 hits.
All right, he has to make a con save against 20.
Fail. I'm sorry, yeah.
Big fail. Okay, he fails.
Just, yeah.
Con save against, oh, I'm sorry,
strength save against 20. Oh, same fail. Okay, he fails, just, yeah. Con save against? Oh, I'm sorry, strength save against 20.
Oh, same, fail.
Okay, so that's.
One less.
He takes, boo, that's bullshit.
He takes eight points of damage.
Okay.
He's pushed 15 feet back.
All right, so he's blasted back underneath.
By the way, this scrag is so big
that you can move on its, underneath it.
I was trying to shoot him directly towards my toy,
if that's okay.
Yeah, how far does it shoot him?
15 feet.
15 feet, five, 10, 15.
So he's right next to it.
He's not, doesn't impact it.
Perfect.
All right, so that's been spent
until I reload it.
Now I'm going to take,
put that away, pull out Animus,
and take a shot
at my toy.
Okay.
With my fourth attack.
You got it.
Where on the field is that toy?
Right underneath the scrap.
That's 17.
Definitely strike it.
Okay.
You don't even have to roll damage. You set off the small, wind-up Anders.
That is, Anders does a...
Anders!
Anders does a, Professor Anders does a...
I am stupid.
The glass beaker breaks,
and it's filled with a deadly toxin,
which, with a 15-feet cloud, it's a DC 15 con save.
All right.
For anything within 15.
Correct, so that would be the shrike and scrag.
So, Ryloren, it's going to be a 12, it fails.
Hey, that's great.
And scrag is going to be 13.
Hey! So both fail.
Eight points of poison damage.
All righty, so go ahead and roll that.
And they are poisoned until the end of my next turn.
That's great.
Eight points of it around.
All right.
They're poisoned through until my turn's over.
Okay. All right.
So it takes four, and they are both poisoned.
Not quite done.
They're poisoned, they're not dead, though.
The weird, okay, of course not.
As the toxin spills, crack, like,
and thick, darkened slives start spitting from it,
it's actually poisoned until the next round.
Awesome, I am going to...
Shrike survived?
Shrike survived, but it's hurt.
I can walk away from him.
Yeah, I'm just going to back up.
That guy's blind, right?
So he has disadvantage if he takes a reaction to hit me.
I'm just going to back up like...
Let's back up 30.
Yeah. That'll get you there.
All right, he's going to swipe towards you
with a disadvantage.
Double 19s.
He hits? Holy shit.
I'm going to say, yeah, he hits you.
I should've fucked with him.
I feel bad. It's okay.
He, although it does three points of slashing damage.
Ow!
I got something!
I got something!
Oh, for fuck's sakes.
All right. That's my turn.
All right, Percy's done.
Vex is up. Kieleth's on deck.
Sorry, my, um.
We might need physical character sheets.
We have a tryout. Yeah, D&D Beyond is pooped out.
It just keeps giving us the Beholder of Doom.
Oh boy. Yeah.
But great timing, great timing.
I'll Kyle.
I'll Slack.
Let's see, wait.
It's loading now.
See if it loads up.
I haven't been able to get mine for the last half hour.
Oh, and while they're doing this,
I'm going to let everyone know.
As we point in the tower, approximately five feet down,
five feet down from the circle on the right, facing forward,
and then another five feet
clockwise around the corner.
Got it!
That was very clear, we understood.
Five feet down, five feet from the right,
from the center, you idiots!
Broken up with the sounds of slashing and gun burn.
Five feet down, five feet down, five feet down, got it.
Five feet, five feet.
Okay, here's what I'm going to do.
Yes.
By Ashley Johnson.
I'm going to hold onto my necklace.
To stay in response.
And I say, time for a little protection, buddy.
And I'm going to bamf Trinket out with my free action
to where he's directly behind Ozo.
Per se.
I just want him to clutch onto Ozo.
Help action?
Listen. Oh man, look at that.
And then bonus action.
I'm going to disengage
and I'm going to fly off of the fucking thing.
All righty.
Okay, I'm going to fly off of the fucking thing. All righty. Okay, I'm going to fly. Where?
This way.
60 feet is your fly speed, right?
Yes. Okay.
If I can be,
I want to be keeping a distance from that Thought Eater.
So. Okay, so over this way? Yes. You can get about there is where you're going. If I can be, I want to be keeping a distance from that Thought Eater.
So over this way? Yes.
You can get about there is where you're going.
Okay.
Okay.
60 feet from the saddle.
And then I am going to
Sharpshooter Ozo.
Okay.
And because Trinket's there,
I get Sneak Attack on him now.
Correct, you do.
Okay.
I'm going to declare this.
I don't know if it's on here.
I'm going to do my Bramble Shot from Fen'thriss.
Let's go.
So this is, okay.
Minus five.
I don't know what it is.
I think that's a 19 to hit.
A 19 total?
Total.
That misses, unfortunately.
Okay.
I'm going to try again.
That definitely hits.
That's a 19 plus.
Yeah, that hits.
Okay.
So that is 98.
Seven plus nine is 16,
plus six for the lightning damage of Fen'thriss.
So a total of?
22.
Okay.
And then...
And then...
Almost have it here.
Wait, I lost.
And then plus 10 because of the sharpshooter.
Right.
So 32.
And then the bramble Shot.
Oh no, and then Sneak Attack.
Let's do that first. Right, Sneak Attack damage.
Oh, that's great.
18 points of Sneak Attack.
Great.
And then the Bramble Shot is a grapple attack. Great. And then the bramble shot is a grapple attack.
Which does additional damage as well.
Yes.
Sorry, the timing of that damage isn't that's okay.
Then I can look up.
Yeah, I don't think Ventthras' stats are on here.
It's okay, I've got it here.
So it's a DC 17.
Mm-hmm.
All right.
Oh my god.
So much math.
Tiny.
Well, I'll tell you, yeah, this is...
Here we go, okay.
We are reliant.
Pardon.
So 3d8 piercing damage from that as well.
3d8 piercing damage, got it.
I don't know why I got my emergency.
Let's see, dude.
And strength save.
Whoa, that's great!
16 plus six is 22 additional piercing damage.
Woo! Yeah.
That is 72 points of damage to him on one attack.
Weesh! Against who?
Against Ozo.
He does save against the Hyrule of the 20
for his strength saving throw,
so he's not restrained by it.
Okay. But he did take the damage,
which is pretty nice.
Okay. You did the additional
ailing damage on that, yeah.
You're good. Okay.
All right, cool.
So that's me.
Thank you for waiting for us on that one.
That finishes your go?
That's what I can do.
You lift, you're up.
Shake it, Jen. I'm out.
Did you move at all, Laura?
Did you move at all?
I did. I moved 60 feet.
I'm going to continue to glide
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
I want to pop up next to Skantar, if I can.
Oh, what the fuck is that?
Do you see the beacon?
I'm told that it's five feet down,
five feet to the right, five feet down again,
five feet to the left.
Five feet down, five feet over.
Five feet down, five feet over.
That makes no sense!
From the centerpiece, five feet down, five feet over.
Should I bring it to us?
Yes!
All right.
I apologize, Watch your step!
I'm going to...
You're going to become a tent?
Yeah.
It was inevitable.
Another campaign.
I don't think they can see you.
So I try to reach, they'll see me in a second.
I want to cast Earthquake.
Always goes well.
I want to cast Earthquake. It always goes well. I want to cast Earthquake.
It's a 100-foot radius.
I think I'm going to do a little bit in front of the tower,
kind of like here-ish.
Oops.
Oops.
Percy!
Percy, I'm sorry.
No!
I'm sorry.
I'm shaking. So that maybe'm sorry, I'm shaking.
So that maybe...
We'll figure it out.
Figuring it out. Yep, figuring it out.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm bringing it down.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah you are.
Yeah you are.
But what if we look at the beacon before we bring it down?
It might not even fall. But what if it does?
It ain't going to fall. What if it doesn't? This is a powerful tower.
So casting Earthquake.
We're all making choices.
I love it.
100-foot radius, circle-centered on the point.
The ground in the entire area
becomes difficult terrain.
Okay, so everything around becomes difficult terrain.
Where did you want to center it, Nottish?
Just in front of the tower a little bit.
In front of the tower there.
Mm. Okay.
Mm.
Why is he speaking like it's
I know, I know why he's going.
He's talking like it's really bad.
No, he's doing what we do,
where he's trying to figure out the math
because this is crazy.
She's the best.
What level's Beau?
So.
Jeez.
I did it. Yeah, fissures can open up
at the start of your next turn.
Not yet.
The ground is shaking now.
You can fissure this shit.
However, it is 50 bludgeoning damage
to any structure in contact with the ground.
So everything in this, everything here.
Oh, I'm nervous.
So yeah, this tent is destroyed,
and the gentlemen within Scream
attempts to. Poor little soldiers.
Oh no.
It's just a little tent, though.
It's just fabric that fell down on him.
She's like, oh god.
Should've put your arm around it.
Sorry, microphone.
It buried under a tent.
It says 50 damage to all structures around here this turn.
Ooh!
Everything shifts.
Cracks begin to appear in the parts that are stone
and the parts that are metal.
Like,
creaking, horrible sound of large swaths of metal
just beginning to bend and shift.
Its points beginning to become weaker.
I hope this wasn't a mistake.
That was about 200 points of damage.
Also, that's 5d6,
plus you need to damage every creature that doesn't make it.
So to that point, go ahead and roll 5d of damage. Also, it's 5d6 plus you need to damage every creature that doesn't make it, so to that point,
go ahead and roll 5d6 damage.
We still have advantage on all the saves, right?
Adorable.
Nope. Nope.
Just wisdom saves.
Because we did our best.
You're up, Nessa.
Really?
10.
Okay. Five, 10's up. Okay.
Five, 10, 14.
14, all right.
So the two guys are trying to run.
That is going to be a 15 DC.
What's your DC?
Fail is a 20.
20, okay, so fail.
With fail, they both take that damage
and then fall prone and are currently buried in rubble.
Big blast.
They're just like, oh god!
All righty.
That guy who is blinded and running is now screaming.
He also fails.
He falls and actually he gets crushed.
He's gone from the blast earlier, so he's taken out.
The worm takes the damage, but is unaffected.
Does it affect Shrek-y guy under Scrag?
I'm going to get there. Oh, sorry.
It's okay.
It's a lot of rolling here to do.
However, yeah, fails to save,
so Vorak takes the damage.
What again? 14?
14, yeah.
Both of the...
Fail.
Jesus Christ, a two and a four.
Both of the shrikes up there fail.
Amazing.
What was your damage that you rolled?
15. It's not a lot.
14 damage, but it knocks them.
They're both knocked prone
and they are buried in rubble.
Nice.
So they both get.
That's a big one.
How many rocks did you bring?
I have a whole bag.
Somewhere there's a Michael's.
There's like, we're out of rocks, man.
I don't know.
That guy there fails,
and he gets crushed under the ground.
Yes.
You're still today?
Oh, I like it.
This is a dummy lunchbox.
We picked up the wrong one.
100-foot radius, it's 95.
Percy is just outside of reach.
Yeah!
We're talking about the thought eater.
The thought eaters,
they're not in contact with the ground.
Oh, oh great.
Surprise.
We all flew down. Oh yeah, you flew. Surprise. See you, guys.
Oh yeah, you don't know this one.
Is that how all of it else flows?
That's how it floats.
What floats?
And then what about the?
Oh, I misread it.
I misread it.
Everybody dies.
Yeah.
This guy is still just on the ground.
Those guys are still knock-prone. They don't take any damage. They're just all knock-prone.
If the building falls on them from destroying them,
that's when it gets pulled in.
Sorry, it's been a while since I did an earthquake spell.
I get that.
That's both ways.
That's right.
That also means everybody's down over there.
So it just knocks people prone
and doesn't actually cause damage.
At now.
Unless you're in a building.
Right, if buildings and structures can do it,
and if they fall, then it does it to them.
That's great.
What about this blind thud guy?
He rolls a natural 18, I guess 21, which succeeds,
so he's fine.
The blind Rylauren that fell off the stairs,
does he fall off the second level stairs?
He's already fallen.
Oh, wow.
With a natural three, he does.
Yay!
Then he falls off the outside. I hate everything. yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay! What a fail! And he falls off that side.
I hate everything.
Oh, is that good news?
Ah!
What did you do in the war?
I fell down two flights of stairs.
He literally landed from a roof and then fell off the stairs.
Succeeds, maintains standing up,
with that rhylor on the edge.
Real bad down here.
Also succeeds.
Those two are the first to succeed.
You have to tell, you just get jostled around.
Scanlan, I need you to make a dexterity,
or sorry, a strength saving throw?
A dexterity.
You got freedom of movement.
Oh, I rolled a 10, but I have freedom of movement,
which means something.
Means you're immune to becoming prone and everything,
so you're fine. Yeah, you can't be knocked down.
Okay. And you move through terrain just fine. everything, so you're fine. Yeah, you can't be knocked down. Okay. You move through terrain.
So this truck duck train being fucked up.
Succeeds with a natural 19.
Still poisoned, though.
A poison would be just.
Natural 20 on that, so he's fine.
And then, yeah, Scrag.
Scrag.
Is he going to be prone? Fails.
Oh my god! Scrag. Falls he going to be prone? Fails. Oh my god! Scrag.
Falls prone onto the ground.
The legs, it crumples out.
It's held weight on it.
Yeah.
The Shrike that succeeded,
I will say, gets partially crushed by it.
Yes.
He's going to try and make a de-
No, he fails to deck safe, so he takes 16 points. He gets crushed, it. Yes. He's going to try and make a dek. No, he fails a dek save, so he takes
16 points. He gets crushed. He's dead.
Is that fellow within 60 feet of Lieve?
He is.
She will use It's Not a Reaction, Keeper of Souls,
and I will steal his number of hit dice
as life force to myself.
Oh, great. Whoa!
That is cool!
Yeah, so that would be eight.
Okay, got it, thank you.
I love that.
That's, yeah, Wildmother had that.
Cool. Yeah.
All righty, as the structures all crack,
you watch as the tower itself,
which is fairly resilient in its structure,
shakes as it does,
the Bloody Bridge flickers,
and you see two points at its base begin to tense.
It is certainly affecting the tower.
So you've cast Earthquake.
Anything else on your turn you want to do?
That's all right, that's all right, that's what I do.
I did move. I moved and I did a spell.
That's what I do. Okay. All right, that finishes what I do. I did move, I moved and I did this one. That's what I do.
Okay.
All right, that finishes Kiedix's go.
Scrag gets back up using half its movement to do so.
Is going to turn.
Step over this guy.
You'll get close enough to this edge here. Where's Starship Trooper?
There's a bear on his back.
A bear on his back.
His bear back!
And is going to strike at you in your elemental form.
Okay.
I was waiting for it.
First, let's see if he gets his... Shit, the five-speed.
He does get his Corroding Spray back.
Oh boy.
Fuck you, bro.
So that's going to go ahead and...
He's overjonder.
So the razor mandibles against you.
I've got a lot of range.
That's going to be a 20 to hit.
Hits.
All right, you take...
But I need a nat 20 or kill somebody.
I'm getting smashed.
You're getting smashed? I am.
28 points of piercing damage to you,
which is reduced to half in your elemental form, right?
Ooh.
Because it's just bludgeoning, right?
Correct. Yes, I have resistance.
14 to you. Okay.
Then you take,
oh, that's so clever.
Oh.
Wait, what?
You take 22 points of acid damage.
Yes.
22?
Correct.
I...
Okay.
It's then going to strike at you four more times
with its razor mandibles.
Okay.
It does not have disadvantage anymore
because that spell dropped,
so I'm just going to roll four dice here.
Okay, so does a 14 hit?
No.
Does a 16 hit?
No.
All right, does a 22 hit?
Yes. Does a 26 hit?
Yes.
So two of those strikes get to you.
That's going to be...
There.
25 points of slashing damage reduced to 12. And...
22 points of slashing damage reduced to 11.
Okay. And it's going to finish
with another Corroding Spray.
God! And it's going to unleash a massive torrent of acid
towards this way.
That's going to spray...
Oh, a lot of people.
Yeah, that's going to get Keyleth.
It's not magical, is it?
It's going to get, it is not magical.
Shit.
It's going to get Scanlan, it's going to get Liev'tel,
and it's going to get your Planetar.
Does it get the Thought Eater as well?
It does not.
What?
So for that, I'm going to roll
an 8d8.
And Grog's going to win.
Oh shit, I forgot about Grog.
It's going to win.
I'll try to help him out.
35 points of acid damage is what we're looking at here.
So let's go ahead and do dex saves.
Heleth?
Natural 20.
Natural 20. Yes!
Half acid damage to that, so half 35.
It's going to be 17.
Okay, Jesus Louise.
All right, Scanlan. 14.
35 points of acid damage to you.
Ouch.
Concentration saving throw to see if you maintain
your Scanlan's hand.
I get advantage on this roll, right?
He's a war caster.
Come on, come on, come on.
What do I do? 16 plus stuff.
Plus your spellcasting. Constitution saving throw
is what it is. Constitution saving throw.
21?
Yeah, you're fine. Okay.
Lee of Tel?
Lee of Tel succeeded with a 22.
The planar ally failed and is going to go bye-bye.
Okay, so the planar ally gets burned into very little.
And half of 22 for the damage?
35. Half of 35.
Which would be 17. Okay, thanks.
That's going to finish Scrag's turn.
It is now the 20 mark on the initiative.
The arrival of...
Fuck, every turn, every turn,
more of them are going to come.
We should make that ladder go away.
Two of these into a merge.
We should.
There.
I think the earthquake would knock it down.
No, no, not yet.
Strong ladder.
It's funny, after the last attack on this,
they've reinforced a few things.
They learned from the last couple of moments.
Oh, we can get it down.
We've got a hand.
And she can fly.
That was the end of Scrag's turn?
That was the end of Scrag's turn, yeah.
I think technically, since the birds are within 10 feet,
that I can force them to make a dex save again.
Is that on your turn to happen?
It's at the end.
If they're still in that position
at the end of their turn.
Okay, then yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I think you have to do that 19 dex save again.
Let's go.
I'll say they're technically right here.
Is that within 10 feet or did he move out of it?
No, he's massive. He's still within 10 feet.
Yeah, that's what I kind of mean.
Ozo doesn't get hit, but Scrag can.
I'm going to triple check,
but I'm pretty sure I read it five different times.
This is a bit of a pickle.
I know what you mean.
You just need to stay there for the entire time.
Or ends its turn there.
You can force the creature to make a dexterity saving throw.
All right, so scrag roll.
That's a natural two.
Okay. That's a fail.
Yeah, so it's the same again.
It's 5d10.
All right, go for it.
Ugh, not great. Two, it's 5d10. All right, go for it. Ugh, not great.
Two, five, seven, 14.
21 slashing.
All right. Slashing damage to him.
Got him.
Okay, all right, so that finishes that go there.
The 20 rival, both of those begin to arrive.
I'm rolling really low for that arrival, too.
But more of the Rylorns are starting to arrive
across the Bloody Bridge.
Also, the towers that were flickering up into space.
Oh boy.
Jesus. Yep.
This one here
is going to attempt to
. here is going to attempt to.
Fuck you!
Betcha can't hit you!
Okay, yeah.
Face imprint inside the wall. So on that point,
the Weavemind through the tower
are going to attempt to slam you to the ground.
I need you to make a charisma saving throw.
Charisma?
Charisma?
Advantage with a wink.
I get advantage on charisma.
Wink, I go.
Oh, okay.
This is terrifying.
Okay.
I am upset.
The holy aura.
19?
19? Fails.
As the orb begins to flicker up,
you see the spectral image of one of the Weavemind figures
reach its long, thin, spindly fingers out in your way, and then do this.
You feel your hands move the broom,
beyond your control, straight down,
and you go full speed
into the ground with all of your intent
and the broom's speed.
So you take, that is 60 feet down from where you are.
Actually, let's.
I can't try to jump off at the last second?
Unfortunately, no.
We've won.
50 feet, so that is 5d6
bludgeoning damage.
I can't use one of my rogue abilities,
like Evasion or whatever the other thing is.
Enough for this one, unfortunately.
Like Candy Dodge?
If it was dex, maybe, but.
Can I use?
Can I use?
Can I use my rules lawyer feature to? You take 18 points of bludgeoning damage
and you are prone on the ground.
Just not on the ground.
Cool, maybe that's because I made no characters.
Sorry, man.
Grog got eaten and they're all gone now.
Is my broom okay? Did it break the broom?
No, the broom is not broken.
But the broom scatters off about five feet from you.
It's right next to you.
You were dazed for a second.
This right here that's arcing up.
Where am I?
It's going to attempt to
fire an arcane psychic bolt at Pike across the way.
Where did I land?
You're sort of between the big monster
and the cradle thing.
Does a 20 hit you?
No. No.
You see it far enough away and
it blasts and leaves a crater in the ground
where it impacted.
Like some sort of strange force was just focused,
like a massive magnifying glass
that impacted where you were standing
before you duck out of the way
and it explodes next to you.
That's going to finish the 20 initiative.
We have Tell, you're up.
Oh, there's no other people performing.
Percy went, Vax, Keyleth, everybody went.
Was that a spell targeting me?
Would that be a spell attack?
Would that orb take radiant damage?
No, no, please take it in. I'll allow it, go ahead and roll radiant damage? I don't recall. Uh. No, no, please take it in.
I'll allow it. Go ahead and roll radiant damage.
Kind of bad.
10 points of radiant damage to the orb.
The Dawnfather's Retribution
causes the orb to flicker off with radiant damage.
It takes it, but it doesn't take it fully.
Okay, okay, okay.
That's good.
Not quite as vulnerable to the effect.
But, Lieve.
All right, Lieve will stand, somewhat battered.
I think you said this area is difficult to reign,
but she cast Freedom of Movement on herself,
so that doesn't affect her.
Half of her movement to stand.
I will have her trudge her last bit of 15 of movement
on a diagonal towards the rear of this thing.
Okay.
Also just trying to get away from the mayhem.
Fair.
As she walks, she says,
I left Ravenscrest for this purpose.
Lady, I am here to serve your will.
Your champion's prison lies before me.
Unlock his fetters and pull that beacon to me,
and I will use Divine Intervention,
asking the matron to rip the beacon free of this thing
and deliver it into my hands.
Okay.
So the tower as it stands,
the structural damage that it sustained
was fairly substantial, but it still holds pretty strong.
It's a very well-reinforced tower.
As these mutterings escape your lips, Liev Tell,
the brightness of the sunburst in the last round
that has faded now seems to be
consumed with shadow. Darkness, like an eclipse, seems to darken this space in the middle.
As it does, you see what looks like black, unfurling tethers of silk
from this shapeless shadow. And as it does, you watch as hundreds of ravens
scatter out from this dark space.
The sound of their cawing just causing this terrifying din
that overshadows any other horrifying sounds
of the battlefield around you.
As they scatter out, you watch as they cling entirely.
The entire tower now looks like it's made of black ravens,
shifting and undulating as their wings flap and move.
And you just see the hundreds of little red,
glowing, beating eyes of them as they cling to it.
As that happens, the tower seems to shift again.
A central cluster of them burst outward
and just evaporate,
leaving just a section of the tower exposed,
where you see the cracked housing
has now been pulled open slightly,
and you see this strange purplish-gray glow
now exposed to the air.
More ravens delve in.
They get disintegrated as well,
and with each cluster of this cloud pushing inward,
more of the tower's armored central core
around this strange ancient relic
that seems to be one of the major power sources
for this tower is exposed further and further
until the final bits of the tower that surround it,
like the armored edge of it,
are pulled away with the last cluster ravens
themselves being destroyed along with it.
Now you see the tower stands,
but the central part of its midsection is just framework,
strange arcana machinery,
and the dodecahedron-shaped beacon
just floating in space right there.
It has been left exposed.
Okay. Okay.
So just to clarify, that was beautiful.
I loved every second of it.
I said, deliver it to me, but the divine,
I said I love you.
Not what I ordered.
That's what I ordered. I didn't know if you missed those words, but I I love you. You know what I ordered. That's what I ordered.
I didn't know if you missed those words,
but I know that you have to measure
how much or little a divine intervention does.
So it's hovering in space, right?
It's hovering still in the cup above.
Yeah, it has been delivered to be plucked.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
And with your favorite.
Has provided you an absence of resistance
at the moment.
And where is it?
Like height-wise.
This purple glow right there?
Okay, that's where it is.
This is the height of where it sits.
The height of it. Five feet down,
five feet to the right.
Back and to the left.
Back and to the left, yes.
And then I will use a bonus action
to cast Healing Word on myself.
All right. At third level.
Third level, go for it.
In all of that destruction of the tower,
do we see the Vax orb, or is that somewhere else?
We got to do this first, anyway.
I know, but I still want to see him.
No, I don't think so.
On your turn, if you'd like to try and look for him.
You notice there were two important points.
There was one where this was,
and there was one right at the base
of where the bloody bridge is being cut.
All right, does that finish your turn, Lee Aftell?
Oh yes.
All right. That was all my movement,
bonus action, divine intervention, donezo.
All the Shrikes go, they get up,
and they rush into the side.
Just putting out, getting up is half speed,
but also that's rough terrain?
Correct, that's as far as that one goes.
This one here goes back to go towards Vex
and only gets that far.
Oh.
So they both get up,
and that's about the full distance they can get.
All right, finishing the Shrikes go.
Grog, top of your turn inside Vorak.
First thing that happens is you take...
Dremel.
18 points of acid damage.
Ah!
Reduced?
No, not acid damage.
We'll buy you some Pink Floyd.
What you got, Garak?
I will go into a Frenzied Rage.
Okay.
And I will,
with my bloodaxe, I assume, pressing against me.
You are restrained, yeah.
Yeah, I will try and grind against the inside
of whatever wet tissue is in here
and make reckless attacks from the inside of this.
Go for it.
You are restrained, so your attack's at disadvantage.
Reckless cancels it out,
so you're just rolling straight attacks on it.
Straight ups.
Grind against that wet tissue.
So three attacks.
Hit him!
Right, that fell.
These Greatmaster or not?
Negative. Okay.
Not on the first one.
That is a...
No, that's an old one.
26 to hit.
26 hits. Okay.
Second one, I'll do Great Weapon Master.
Okay.
Natural 20.
Yeah!
Fuck yeah!
That might just do it.
Is that a natural 19? That's awesome.
That'll hit, too.
All three hit. The central one's critical
from the inside.
Don't you crit on 19, too?
Yeah, on Grey Wolf or Grey Worms.
I think so.
Might crit on 19. You do.
Yeah, I might.
Let's see.
Okay, so 21 plus one plus seven plus 10 is 17,
plus four is 21, plus...
23.
24.
That's 24 points of damage
with three points of necrotic.
Got it.
And the second one is, that's kind of...
I get to add your Brutal Critical elements, too.
Oh yeah.
16.
25.
50.
50 plus 10.
Oh my god. 60.
He's going to put it just as simple.
61 points of damage on the second one.
Is that brutal criticalal Critical 2?
I bet your sweet ass it does.
Fuck, oh my god.
Okay, 13.
17.
18.
21 on the third one, three points of necrotic.
All right, so that's over 100 points of damage
in that one round against it.
It's going to make a constitution saving throw.
Oh, look at that, it fails.
As it vomits you back up.
Yeah!
Right there, prone on the ground next to it.
As you carve through, it's inside
and emerges you from there.
And with it, a large splashing spiral
of that strange molasses ichor from the inside.
But that's your action.
You can use your high-fever movement
to get up if you want.
I'm going to get up.
Get up.
Get the fuck out of here!
I'm going to run towards the
open claw structure.
Okay, what's your movement?
It'll be 25, 50 total, so just 25 left.
Okay, 25 left.
The radius. I have mobile,
so it shouldn't slow me down too much with all the crazy.
So yeah, it is.
So you ignore rough terrain? Mm-hmm.
Oh, great. So you, yeah, you can.
I have mobile, so very ignore a rough terrain? Mm-hmm. Oh, great. So you, yeah, you can. I have mobile so that you can go.
13, 20, 25. 25?
Yeah.
I guess I'll stay within the big boy's melee if I use that big.
Yeah, yeah, the shrike does get one strike against you
as you rush by. Cool.
For 19?
That is my AC.
All right, you take...
You take six points of slashing damage, reduced to three.
Great, I'll use my reaction to take a swing at him.
Go for it.
Just in case it kills him.
28, no, 30 to hit, no, 32 to hit.
That hits.
No, sorry.
12, 22, god, where was that hit before?
22, 26, 27 points of hit before? 22, 26.
26, 27 points of damage for Necrotic.
How little attention do you play to him
when you cut him in half?
Oh!
Now he has to be like, bitch, whoosh!
I'll put that 19 on crit.
I'll do just the,
it gives me 10 points of healing, I think.
You crit on 19. Those are the blacks.
Stop talking to me while I'm doing all this math!
Oh, 10 points of healing.
I'm doing a heal.
No!
It crashed again. It crashed again.
You have a character sheet?
If I recall, it's 10 temporary hit points.
Which I totally wrote down how many hit points we're on.
I guess I do. Okay.
Okay. Nice.
Yeah.
That 19 should have been a crit,
and you have, so that means you get extra dice as well.
And then, if you can remember what you rolled.
I can't, so I'll just roll one.
I was going to say, it's easy,
because it's just a standard number,
so you just remove that from that.
For which one?
For the 19.
Was a crit as well.
I crit on a 19 or a 20 because of Great Weapon.
Brutal Crackle? No, because Brutal Crackle?
Mm-hmm.
Brutal Crackle? Wait, no, no, no.
Brutal Crackle is an extra damage die.
Yeah, it's an extra damage die.
No, 19 and 20 is a fighter ability with a champion.
And I don't have champion, I have battle match.
Correct, yeah. Okay.
Oh, never mind then.
No, good looking out, though.
You're fine, you killed him.
It's all good.
All right, Grog, that finishes your go.
I was taking what I had.
Scanlan, you're up.
Okay. Don't fuck this up.
Don't fuck this up.
Don't fuck this up.
Don't hit something with your hand again.
I'm not going to hit. I'm going to grab.
It's exposed. Yeah.
I will reach up the hand as my bonus action
and pluck it like the womanhood of a, no.
The horsehood?
The horsehood of a young mare.
Nay.
Okay.
You are such a whore.
The hand reaches towards the beacon in the center.
You watch as the fingers,
the vibrant purple color of your hand
begins to turn to a gray,
and there is a clashing of arcana here.
Go ahead and roll a d20 and add your charisma.
Oh, ooh. Charisma's good.
And it's a contested roll with
this here.
All right.
26.
26, 20.
Yes!
Nice.
So at the minute that it feels like the spell's
about to be canceled out,
you feel like the threads of your spellcraft
beginning to be unwoven.
You redouble your efforts and concentrate.
You've prevented gods from escaping your grasp.
And you push through as this magical hand
grips this strange relic.
As it does, the hand.
You see six or seven hands appearing at different sides,
flashing, almost like realities are colliding.
Some hands of different shapes, different colors.
For a second, you see seven different versions of Scanlan
and six different timelines, one of which he's a ghost,
one of which he is a king.
And in that moment, your eyes come back to reality
and the hand pulls the beacon free
from the center of the tower,
at which point the bloody bridge
shuts down and you see these glimmering beams
of red light
and just sent adrift
in the space between Ruidus and Exandria.
Oh shit!
You just disconnected it.
I disconnected it.
I mean, there's still the debate.
You did it.
Sometimes you just have to unplug it and play it again.
I just fucking disconnected the world.
Just get it to Grog.
As that happens, too,
the storm above
Uh-oh.
vanishes, and all of you have to brace yourself
as an incredible wind
pushes down upon the battlefield from above.
You feel like hurricane force winds
are suddenly pushing upon the ground
and all of you have to steel yourself.
A lot of the rubble is cleared out for the moment
and pushed to the sides as you watch the tethered and strangled threads
of Exandria's ley lines
begin to relax and return
Oh, whoa!
how they were.
And druidists
begin to continue
Make the moon move!
Oh my god!
Its rotation around the world.
The rainbow gossamer threads of magic around the world
that were on the cusp of tearing themselves apart
begin to return to their natural world.
We're going to take a break there.

Okay, back to the show.
And welcome back.
So, as we're jumping in, it is the middle of Scanlan's turn,
after managing to tear the remaining beacon
from the center of the Malleus Key,
and as such, shutting down the Bloody Bridge
and releasing Ruidus
from its arcane locked placement in the sky.
Also, at the break, you rolled less damage
than you were supposed to for Brutal Critical.
Yeah, Brutal Critical is three damage dice,
and I only rolled one, so the first one was an eight.
The second one is a...
It's cocked, I wish it was a 12.
It's a seven, so 15 extra points of damage.
Yeah! You got it.
All righty. Wyrmboi.
Every little bit.
Done and done.
So Scan, that was your bonus action.
What are you doing for your action?
Well, as part of the bonus action,
I can move the hand up to 60 feet,
so I'll bring it back down.
So you can bring it down to you, yeah.
Hover it maybe over or next to Liebtel.
I still have an action.
Oh shit.
If I do that, Bigby's hand will drop.
But that's okay. Yeah, I don't need it anymore.
Oh wait, but what if I need to grab the Vax Orb?
Shit, I should have thought of this.
We don't know where the Vax Orb is yet.
Not yet.
You really should have thought of it during the break.
Yeah, I should have, instead of just eating Indian food.
Well, also we've talked, because Laura and I think
I also have Locate Object. Yeah, you guys can go get it Laura and I think I also have low-king object.
Yeah, you guys can go get it, right?
There's also other ways.
Okay, then I will drop the beacon.
You catch it there?
Then I will cast an 8th-level spell.
Jeez.
What are you casting?
I will point at that big creature called,
what's he called?
Ozo? Skrag.
Skrag. Skrag.
Yeah, and I will sing at him.
Ozo douche. Skraggy.
I will sing at him.
NAY-O!
Me say nay-o!
Scanlan sings and you do what I say. I will cast Dominate Monster at him.
Okay. Oh, wow.
Roll this above the table.
What is the? 22.
22, and it is a wisdom?
It is wisdom. It is wisdom, okay. There is a wisdom? Yeah. Uh, it is wisdom.
It is wisdom.
Okay.
There is a plus three to this roll.
It has to roll a 19 or 20 to succeed.
It does not succeed.
Ooh.
Yeah!
Fantastic.
Why should I have him hit?
The guy on his back or the worm?
I mean, he's now dominated by you for the time being.
Yes. He doesn't have his turn yet.
No, but I have to issue a command.
That's true, yeah, yeah.
If he gets hit, does it shake him out of it?
He gets to roll every time he gets injured, yes.
We could start doing, or we could start doing.
Sure, but there's another guy on the field.
I say Ozo, yeah.
Ozo or System Damage? Yeah.
Okay, yes, I will tell him to, oh.
It's fine. To kill anything
on its back.
Regardless of what it is, just blindly stab.
No.
But try to avoid the bear.
That's your command? Try.
Okay.
You're going to stay put?
Oh, oh, I'm in the open, aren't I, now?
I will move my body in front of the uptale
to shield her from harm,
but I'll do it in a way where my backside
is right up against her.
Yeah.
Are you on the ground or floating at this point?
No, I don't float. The hand grabbed.
Yeah. You're a horse.
I'm a horse.
I am a horse.
So, Leavetel, you currently have the beacon in your hand.
Mind you, there's no handles on it,
so it's clutching in your hand.
Oh, what? Wow.
Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, it's fine.
You don't know.
Just raw-dogging that beacon.
All right. That's it.
That finishes your turn.
Finishing skill on Skout is now Ozo's go. Ozo's go. Hop on, That finishes your turn. Finishes Gennon's go, and it's now Ozo's go.
Ozo go.
Hop on, Lievtel.
Oh my god, you can ride.
We ride.
You're doing it.
Ozo.
You hear whisper through your minds.
I want to get more blood on these hands.
He's going to go ahead and I want to get more blood on these hands.
He's going to go ahead and leap. Aw.
Oh, he's only going to attack your defense.
Shit.
Yeah, and I'm playing down, and I'm prone.
I meant to attack that thing.
Oh, so proof.
He's going to use his Frenzied Wrath.
On me? Yes.
You're prone, so he has advantage in these attacks.
So for Frenzied Wrath, he attacks three times,
and for every attack that hits, he makes another attack.
This continues until he misses with all of his attacks.
Oh shit. Whoa!
Wait, wait.
Until he misses with all of them? Drop Oh shit. Whoa! Wait, wait. Until he misses with all of them?
Drop a d20. Yeah.
That's...
So he's going to attack you.
That's... 19 and a natural 20, so that's a crit.
Well, Vax is dead.
At first.
Wait. Any cutting words?
I'll cutting words that.
Okay. Yeah.
Does it? Yeah.
Cutting words and attacking.
All right, so it is a...
I will scream out,
Winnie and Pooh, Winnie and Pooh.
I'm a guy who likes to just Winnie and Pooh.
Okay.
Okay, so you're reducing his attack by a d12?
A d12. Okay.
Yes. At least it won't be a crit, right?
He still rolled a d20.
You're just reducing the,
if it misses, then it won't be a crit.
Oh, I see.
Yeah. Oh, so you hit with a natural 20?
I hit with a natural 20.
Am I within 60 feet?
You are...
I rolled a 12.
Wait, what's your AC? You are just within 60 feet.
Oh my god.
Though you do not have much of a visual sight on them
because of where you are.
Yeah, your vision is obscured, unfortunately.
Do you have silver rebar, Sam?
12 or something.
Or maybe, not this one.
You might hold it.
You might not be able to be.
Not 60, it's 30 feet.
30 feet, yeah.
You might just want to hold it for the next attack.
So yeah, the crit's probably going to go through
no matter what.
Can I hold it for the next one?
Sure, we'll go with that.
Can I use Evasion on this or Uncanny Dodge?
Use Uncanny Dodge to reduce the damage by half, yes.
Okay.
The first strike is going to be...
Oh my god.
Times two.
I'm seeing a lot of weird numbers.
On the ground.
It's going to be 45 points of slashing damage.
Is that halved?
Halved to 22.
Okay, 22 damage, okay.
Then he takes 46 radiant damage.
Correct.
It's knocked prone.
Okay.
That's 19 radiant damage.
19 radiant damage, all righty.
And he's knocked prone.
Yes!
Gets back up.
That's going to be the rest of his movement there.
Yeah, that might...
That armor is full, I think.
It could be all that's left of the throne again.
I got my dice again.
I think I picked up my dice in the way of this fight today.
Hmm.
He keeps hitting until he misses his crow.
I know, especially with advantage on the hit.
That is...
not good.
What can I fucking do?
What can I fucking do?
You know what? He's not going to get up.
He's going to stay there, prone on the ground next to you.
He's going to keep attacking you,
so he no longer has advantage.
Oh!
Okay.
He also taking damage, so it hits you.
So this strike is now going to be just as regular.
Attacking next to you. That this strike is now going to be just as regular. Attack hits you.
It's a natural 19.
Oh.
Nope.
Anyway.
So for that,
that's going to be 22 points of slashing damage.
Yeah, he gets three no matter what.
If the third one fails, it stops it.
Natural 18.
Jesus.
Try it, though, because if he does it,
then he'll keep hitting you. Yeah, you got to do it now.
You got to try. All right, I'll do it.
I'll try to cut him in.
Oh, and he does another 46 radiant.
Oh!
That's 17 points of, no, that's higher, 19 points again.
19 points again, all righty.
Yeah.
All right, I'll try to cut him in words.
Oh, it's only a four.
Unfortunately, it doesn't do anything.
It does do nothing.
So that is going to be 18 points of slashing damage.
Shit.
Shit, shit, shit, shit.
What if she kills him with her armor, though?
That'd be sick.
Yeah.
Since he has three more.
And it flares again.
Every time, right?
Yeah, every time.
10, 14 points of radiant damage.
14 points of radiant damage, okay.
He gets three more attacks because all those attacks hit.
That's going to be a 28 to hit.
Oh my god.
Okay.
You take, that's a terrible roll.
So 14 points of slashing damage.
14? Yeah.
Every single time.
And he takes. Unless one of them fails?
Unless the last one fails.
Basically, he keeps, for each attack,
he gets another attack.
And once it fails, that stops, but he has three attacks.
The three just keep creating additional attacks
until basically he's missed three times.
18 points of radiant damage.
18 points of radiant damage.
Yep, that makes sense.
Mind you, he's also burning into himself He missed three times. 18 points of radiant damage. 18 points of radiant damage. Yep, makes sense.
Mind you, he's also burning into himself
because he chose you as the target.
Natural one, so he misses one of his attacks.
So one of the three threads has failed.
Next attack against you, natural 20.
Oh!
29, oh, sorry. No, sorry.
That's 51 points of slashing damage.
Oh my god.
I'm going to tell you.
Jesus fuck. Oh my god.
Okay, and he takes nine, 11,
14 points of radiant damage.
Okay. Attacks you again.
That's going to be an 18 to hit.
And misses. Misses.
So it's the second miss.
He still has one more attack to train going forward.
That's going to be a 23 to hit.
It hits.
27 points of slashing damage.
I go unconscious,
and he takes, of course, eight points of radiant damage,
and then I come back up because of Death Ward.
Oh! That's true.
So I've got one hit point left.
Okay.
And he gets to hit me again.
That is going to be a 21 to hit.
21 is my armor.
Oh shit.
That is going to be. Does he get hit back?
Yeah. He does.
That brings you to zero.
13 points of radiant damage.
Oh my god.
He will now use half his movement to stand up.
Fuck, so-so.
And he's going to finish the job.
Unless he misses.
You hear the laughing throughout the mines
as he just continues to just slash and slash and slash.
It's managed to hit.
It's an auto-crit for a 25 to hit.
Two death saves on you.
Attack again.
Exalia, how do you gather your thoughts
as the glass blade
carnage pierces into your ribcage?
I think about my children.
Um...
And I know that Vesper will...
will be able to lead.
I know Whitestone is safe.
I look over at Percy.
I don't even know if I can see him. Through the legs, you can.
And I reach my hand out to him.
Ooh.
And as my eyes close,
I say, save him.
It's been a lot of his movement,
jumping down there and getting up. So yeah, he can't get to anybody else
to continue his threat of attacks.
Because he can keep going as long as people are near.
That'll finish his turn.
It is now Borak's turn.
The worm burrows into the ground
before bursting out next to Pike Trickfoot.
Does Grog get hit when he disappears or no?
I'll allow it.
You watch it vanishing below and as it's burrowing,
since it's big enough, go ahead and take a strike on it.
If you want to.
I do have Sentinel.
12.
What is it?
20.
20 hits.
Oh yeah, and you have Sentinel, don't you?
I do.
Well then.
I should have allowed it.
20, 29, 30, 31.
Four points of necrotic.
Okay.
Let's see here.
So as it tries to burrow away, you strike it hard
and it turns back and focuses once more on you.
Still longing for the taste
it only briefly had of you in its belly.
It's going to release a blast of spines around it.
So I need you to make an dexterity saving throw for me.
You got it.
19.
19.
That will succeed.
So you take 28, reduced to 14 points of piercing damage.
Okay.
Reduced again in half to seven.
And then it's going to go ahead and attempt to bite you.
Since it can't go against anybody else.
Yep, yep.
That's what Sentinel does.
That's going to be a 16 to hit.
Does it? Misses.
Misses.
It goes to
rear back to try and bite down on you,
and you push out of the way with your axe
and knock it at the side.
No impact there.
Is this for somebody?
Sir Connors, you're up. Pike on deck.
How far away is Vorak, would you say?
Vorak is somewhere in the neighborhood of
80 to 100 feet.
Then you have full control over Scrag, right?
More or less?
I do. Yeah.
Oh my god.
Well, you gave it a command,
and it follows your command on its turn.
Yes.
God, I need to go.
Oh man.
Yeah, I mean, I'm going to just, I mean,
boring, but I'm going to cross over,
try to jump down from there,
and then I'm going to use the rest of my action to go.
I have 50 feet of movement,
so I'll use all of my movement to get
shoulder to shoulder with Grog up there.
Okay, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
And so I guess I would have 100 feet total
if I used all?
Used all of your action.
Yeah, that's about the leaping down.
You'd get about here on just your regular movement.
And then if you wanted to spend an action to dash,
you would be able to make that distance.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay. Yeah.
You got it.
That'll end my turn.
Okay, that finishes your turn.
Where do I go with birds or whatever?
They can come with me, but only up to 30 feet.
So if they can trail along.
Yeah, if you want to.
They can't attack remotely?
I can only send them 30 feet.
Yeah, it's not really an attack.
It's just thinking in their proximity.
Yeah. Yeah.
Okay.
Finishing that go, Pike, you're up.
Okay.
Yeah, I think you're more than 40.
I want to get to Vex.
I know I only have
40 feet of flight, so I can't.
You can get there if you spend, if you dash.
But that would be your action.
Then it would be my action.
Watch out for him.
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Fuck.
Okay.
I am going to use Divine Intervention.
Ooh. okay.
You call out to the Everlight.
How so, and what is your request?
I just grab my symbol,
and I just look at Vex,
and I say, Everlight, please, not today.
Please bring her back.
Okay.
As the Sunderking, Ozo-Kruth, is now looking around the battlefield
and sizing up his next core, you see his weapon As the Sunderking, Ozo-Kruth, is now looking around the battlefield
and sizing up his next core,
you see his weapons sparking as he collides them together.
He's starting to walk away as Vex's body
lays still in the middle of the hellcatch,
rocky, crumbled, earthquake-torn floor.
You see what you think to be a shooting star.
Shh.
It continues to fall,
and just slowly, like the tiniest mote,
soft dandelion seed, it drifts down
and catches her shoulder,
where a golden flame burns across her chest
and her arms.
As the flame flickers, you see her eyes glow,
and that heartbeat of the Dawnfather's blessing
that still sits with it in there
matches it with a flash.
As that gold light burns away from her eyes,
her eyes blink and you're restored to one hip on your right.
Whoa.
God stuff.
Level 20 god stuff, yep.
But you've got to get the fog out.
I know.
He's going to get it.
They open and then they close again as she plays possum.
Yeah, hell yeah.
That's viable. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's your action?
There's actually a bonus action
that makes someone still look dead,
even if they're not.
Yeah.
I don't know.
No, I don't have it, but...
I...
I'm just going to get in closer.
I just want to get in closer.
So a movement speed of 40?
40 feet.
So maybe closer.
Up this way?
But you can fly.
I can fly, so yeah.
Maybe stay out of Ozo's range.
How far up did you want to go? Yeah. Maybe stay out of Ozo's range. How far up did you want to go?
Yeah.
Okay.
Up over here-ish?
Maybe about 40 feet there if you wanted to go higher,
or do you want to be lower?
Up to you.
That's good.
I'm going to stay there.
Okay.
Hopefully that's not dumb.
It's probably dumb.
I'm going to do this.
That's about 30-ish feet up, roughly.
Okay.
It's a little more than 30 feet.
I can change that.
All right.
I mean, not that I didn't.
Divine Mirror Invention is not a spell.
It's not a spell, so I could do some.
Yeah, that's true.
You have a bonus action.
You have a bonus action spell, you can do that.
Yeah, you could.
Yes, okay, okay.
There we go. Yep, okay, I have it.
That's a little more realistic. All right, so
bonus action, Healing Word.
What level?
Oh, I can't go higher.
Nine.
That's not my Healing Word.
So I can do any level, okay.
Yeah.
Let's do, let's see what I got.
Let's see what I got.
Okay, I might as well.
Don't do it too high.
It's a four.
Yeah, it's a d4.
Weak time.
That was too high.
Yeah, Vex having 10 hit points
or one hit point is not that different.
Yeah, exactly.
It's not going to make a difference.
Okay, okay.
Let's do third.
Okay, so that's 3d4 plus your wisdom.
Cool.
Okay.
10 points.
So you heal 10.
Hey. Hey, better than none.
Better than none. Just bleed it.
All righty, so as you see her flashed alive,
as you glide up into the air,
you whisper a word to the winds around you
that instill her with a flicker of vitality
beyond just her returning from the edge of death.
That finishes your go.
All right, so the vanguard are going to take their turn now.
Oh yeah.
This gentleman's going to get up
and he's going to rush towards Percy,
he's no longer blind.
And this figure here is going to go ahead
and rush over to...
Nobody. It's going to flee.
With the Bloody Bridge
no longer bringing any reinforcements
and the surrounding chaos,
it is going to...
leap into here and it's going to dash down,
leap here, and that's about as far as it can get right there.
Run past Grog, you coward.
Booking it that way.
On us, yes.
Where are you going?
Who is that again?
Just someone. Just a guy.
Yep. These figures all get up.
Those are the guys in the tent?
Yeah, this one's going to feel bold.
He's going to come up here.
The guys in the tent are going to continue to run this way.
They just full-on sprint this direction.
Morgan!
Oh god!
That was fucking crazy!
The one that rushes up is going to attack you, Sir Connors.
Two strikes.
It's going to be a 13.
No.
And a 20.
Yes.
All right, so you take five points of slashing damage.
Does it take fire damage for your elemental form?
No, no fire, no poison.
Does it take damage for you?
Oh yeah, if you're in my proximity, yeah.
1d10.
Yeah, let's go ahead and roll that.
Ah, nine.
Nine.
Yeah, that hurt him, and he.
He's looking like he's second guessing
his intent to have rushed in.
That finishes the Vanguards' turn.
The Fog Eaters go.
This gentleman here, now focusing up, is going to.
Do those things still work?
Yeah. The orbs are still working?
The orbs are still going.
This one here is going to arc
and arc right towards you, Grog.
Grog, I need you to make a dexterity saving throw for me.
Okay, okay.
I was curious, but that answers questions.
Gentle reminder.
That's not a detour.
I still have to screw it up.
That is a 16.
16 is a failure, unfortunately.
You take 41 points of lightning damage. But I have resistance
because I'm using the Titanstone Knuckle.
That's true, so you just take 20 points.
Any damage?
So that was this thought eater focusing on that one there.
It's his turn.
This thought eater is going to focus in
on this focal point here and is going to
come in.
We got this. We got this.
Mm.
Sounds like Unsolvedolved mysteries right now.
Mm-hmm. Yep.
It's going to go ahead and psychic slam you, Grog,
from up here.
That bit there, that's going to be a 28 to hit you.
Yes, sir. Well, shoof.
So you are going to take
14 points of psychic damage.
Okay.
And you are shoved 15 feet this way.
Amazing. I'm going to use my Stone's Endurance.
One-time use, 1d12 plus six,
seven plus six, 14, to make that...
How much damage was that? 12, 14?
That was 14. 14.
Oh, so that negates it, perfect.
Great, great, there you go.
Okay, got to finish that turn.
Now the troops.
This guy is going to get up and blind.
He's going to go ahead and move.
This guy here is going to move down to here.
He's going to move down to there. He's going to leap off down here and meet Scanlan.
Uh-oh. Yeah, it's fine, I got it.
This one's going to go ahead and fire two darts at you, Grog. Arf. Yeah, because you're out. Ooh, one's going to go ahead and fire two
darts at you, Grog. Arf.
Ooh, one's a natural 20,
and the other's going to be 22 to hit.
Both hit.
All right, so you take
a crit, roll a two on the dice,
so it's four plus three,
so you take seven points of piercing damage
reduced to three.
Oh, sorry. The other one is going to be six points reduced to three, so you take seven points of piercing damage reduced to three. Awesome.
The other one is going to be six points reduced to three,
so you take six points of damage total.
Ow!
You okay, Brock?
Ah!
Other guy over here is going to toss two darts at you as well.
That's going to be a 23 and a 25 to hit.
They're rolling really high. They both did.
With shitty attacks.
You take seven points, reduce to three,
and five points, reduce to two.
Fuck!
No! No!
Please!
They're doing really good.
You got to make them feel, you know.
All righty. Then the one down here that's up against you, Scanlan.
That troop is going to commit you
with its glass edge blade for two attacks.
Bring it.
That's a 22 to hit. Hits.
And a 16 to hit. Hits.
Okay, let's go.
With that,
sixes, there we go.
Total of 15 points of slashing damage against you.
Mm-hmm.
That's going to finish their go.
Top of the round, Percy, you're up with Vex on deck.
Oh boy. Round three. Oh my god. You ready to go? Top of the round, Percy, you're up on Vex on deck.
Oh boy.
Round three.
Oh my god.
High level A player, DMG!
Oh god.
Yeah, how far away am I from that fuck
that just made me watch that shit?
You were about 100 or so feet.
Okay, I'm going to start walking straight towards him.
Okay. Around to this guy?
Yeah, I don't give a fuck.
Come on, Percy, no mercy!
About there at 30 feet.
Okay.
That one, I will get an attack opportunity against you.
That's going to be a 20.
Sure.
Okay.
You take eight points of bludgeoning damage.
Afterwards, I literally just shove him by the face aside.
Just.
Palm.
We've just decided that's not a thing anymore?
Don't fuck with it. I don't even know why I bothered.
Don't fuck with it.
So that was eight points of damage?
Correct.
So I'm just going to put that up there.
Eight points of damage.
I feel like five, 10, 15, 20, 25.
I guess that's 30.
I'm within 90 feet of that ass now.
Are you talking about your wife?
Yeah.
So.
That's the reason they got five kids, right?
I mean.
Pull it from that ass.
Yeah, so.
Her title got longer over the years.
Mistress of the Great Hunt.
Hunt that ass.
Smoke is going to start pouring out of my fucking collar.
Every fucking go. It is trailing behind me as I'm goddamn walking.
I cast Hex on that asshole.
He also now has disadvantage on strength ability checks.
Okay.
Oh, the one in the house?
Is this a different smoke monster?
This is no smoke monster.
This is just a scar.
Left for a schedule.
Yeah, it's just a facet that remains.
It's just what happens when I'm really pissed.
Or really turned on, Taylor.
That, too.
It's just trauma.
It's real smoky in the bedroom.
There's a lot of soot on the ceiling. So he's standing upright.
There's crude oil coming out of Jorona's pants.
All right.
And how far away from him am I right now?
You are?
About 60 feet.
About 60 feet.
Okay, then if it's just about 60 feet,
I'm in enough room to pull out a small steel bar, a ball.
Just pull out his ball.
And just fucking toss it straight at him.
I'm tossing manners at 60 feet.
Okay.
Does he make a save or are you rolling to hit him?
I rolled a hit.
Let's go.
So that's 20 to hit.
I wish I had advantage on this shit,
but I'll take what I can get.
Come on, motherfucker.
15.
Fuck.
15 misses.
Wait, are you in within 30 feet of me?
I'm not within 30 feet of you.
Unfortunately, Manners just arcs past and.
Is that an attack or?
Manners is an attack.
Okay, so I have three more attacks.
All right.
Nothing ever works.
No, nothing ever works.
You just threw a racquetball at him.
You were trying to catch that Charizard.
I'm fine.
That would've gone real goddamn well.
That would've.
Hey, man. That's okay.
Big swings, that's what it's for.
Big swings.
I'm going to pull out Bad News.
Motherfucker.
And I'm just going to, thank you, man.
I'm just going to pull out Bad News. I'm just going to start swings. I'm going to pull out bad news. Motherfucker. And I'm just going to, thank you, man. I'm just going to pull out bad news.
I'm just going to start shooting.
I'm going to shoot.
Let's go.
Here we go.
Fuck this shit.
I'm also going to spend a grit point for advantage.
All righty.
I'm done with that.
All right, that's much better.
23 to hit. 23 to hit? Oh, no, I'm so sorry, 14 actual text on that one. Much better. 23 to hit.
23 to hit?
Oh, no, I'm so sorry, 14, I read that wrong.
14, 28 to hit.
28 definitely hits.
Okay, so that's 2d12 plus six.
That's eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13,
14 points of damage
plus three points of necrotic damage.
And that's shot two.
Three is a reload.
Shot four is, I do not have grit,
so I'm just going to take a shot at it.
That's 26 to hit.
26.
Kill him.
Come on, Percy.
That sucked five.
11 points of normal damage, two points of necrotic.
Okay.
So that's where I am.
I'm going to spend an action surge.
All right.
Normal damage. I'm doing math, an action surge. All right. Not a lot of damage.
I'm doing math, sorry.
One second.
Yep, just.
That's a...
One is your reaction.
There we go.
Racquetball.
So...
I'm doing it.
I'm doing it.
Pokeduck, okay.
Shit, I need to crit really goddamn badly.
Oza just kicks it away.
That's bullshit.
Pikes will walk by later.
I have...
What'd you roll?
I rolled a two, which means it misfires.
I pull out Animus.
Okay.
So that was two.
So I take an Animus shot.
With Animus, that's 13, 25, 28 to hit? 28 hits.
Where are they? 1d10, 1d6, and another 1d6.
So that's five.
Your damage rolls are pretty low.
They suck. I'm sorry.
12 points of damage, one point of necrotic damage.
I'm sorry, 12 points of damage,
one point of psychic damage,
two points of necrotic damage.
Okay.
Percy surgeon.
Hey!
Attacking for the 45th time.
Two, three.
I'm shooting again.
All right.
Seven.
22, I'm trying to think. Sorry, guys.
22. To hit?
Or damage?
Is that damage, or was that the hit?
22 to hit. 22 to hit.
22 to hit?
Yep.
He's going to spend his reaction to do Whirling Parry,
which adds plus three to his AC until the end of the turn.
So his weapon starts going
and one of the shots, he parries it off to the side.
Cool.
And speaking of pertness.
Action surge. Okay, second action surge, let's go.
Kill him.
Kill him.
Kill him.
This is the one.
Here we go. Action surge.
26 to hit.
26 just hits.
Good to know. Oh, he's 26 now.
Got it.
Because of his whirling urnish?
That's...
Rest of the turn.
Come on, his turn or the round?
His turn right now.
13 points of damage, one point of psychic damage,
and two points of necrotic damage.
And then I'm just going to pump a whole,
I'm going to pump one, two, three, four, five,
six points
of Cabal's Ruin lightning damage.
Let's go.
One, two, three, four,
and I'll just roll two more after this.
Come on, that's better.
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.
15, 15, 15.
20, 23 points of lightning damage on top of that.
Great.
All right, is that all of your attacks?
No. I was going to say,
you have more, right, from your action surge?
Oh my god. One to reload.
Another attack.
I'm so sorry, guys, this is going to be a second,
because I am done with this shit.
Do it.
Do it.
Legend says he's still out there attacking you.
He's not going to hit you.
16, 26, so 30 to hit.
That hits. All right.
He attacked your baby mama.
Yep, that's 11 points of damage,
four points of psychic damage.
Nice.
One point of necrotic damage.
All right, so let's go.
That's the third one, so I have one more after that.
One more attack, yeah. This is one more.
48 more times.
You don't even know, man.
15, yeah, that hits.
Okay.
Sorry, wrong dice.
That's 15 points,
15 points plus four points of psychic damage,
plus one point of necrotic damage.
Jesus, these are so neat.
Action Surge.
You can do three action surges?
I think it's just two.
Hold on, hold on, let me double check.
I have it written down here.
He just called. I do, okay.
I just bought, I ran both of those.
Yeah, that's, Jesus, I cannot believe he's still standing.
Yeah, he's looking pretty hurt.
He's a chomp. He's looking hurt.
All right.
He's looking hurt.
He's looking pretty hurt, he said.
He's looking hurt.
Oh yeah, I know. All right, Percy.
He's at 40%.
I just blasting him.
He's like,
with my bloodgeon out.
That's your turn.
Fanny's Percy, Vex, you're up with Keyleth on deck.
Finish him!
By running away.
I'm going to disengage.
Okay.
And fly up in the air.
Okay, so you get on your broom.
It's half your movement to get up from prone, essentially. So we'll say it's 30 feet in the air. Okay, so you get on your broom. So it's half your movement to get up from prone, essentially.
So we'll say it's 30 feet in the air.
You can shoot up on your broom.
Okay.
I'm going to shoot that way towards the...
You got it. Up.
Up which way?
Like up here?
Yeah, why not?
I'll say...
Oh boy.
You're going into the suck?
I don't know where else to go.
Where's the not suck?
Yeah, it's all bad. It's bad everywhere.
Up there, at least, for brotherhood.
I'm not going to suspect.
A sconce.
I'm so pissed at these guys.
All those little orbs on the staircase
are probably defensive.
Yeah. All right.
Well, an earthquake's about to hit.
Could be dead, but good. All right.
So you fly over that direction.
Does he know that I'm up?
Did he see me move?
If you wanted to try and move away stealthily
and even further half your movement
and take only 15 feet,
then you can roll a stealth check if you'd like.
Otherwise, he will notice.
He's got a ranged weapon.
Yeah, then I'm going to just get
as far away from him as I can.
Okay.
So that's your movement?
Yeah.
Fuck.
Okay, I am going to
shoot an explosive arrow at him.
Okay. Whip around.
Go ahead and make the shot.
Is he still a 26 DC, or is he?
He's 23, though actually, at the end of your turn,
he will spend a legendary action to,
not action surge, but surge,
which means he regains his reaction.
Make sure you take all your shots, sis.
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.
Yep, yep.
That's a 22 to hit.
22 just hits.
He will spend his reaction to
go into another whirling parry.
He deflects the arrow off to the side
and it explodes harmlessly in the distance.
Harmlessly in the distance?
There's a lot of things around.
Harmlessly in the distance.
That doesn't hit, that's a 24 on my second arrow.
24? 24 misses.
24 misses because he's upped it by three.
Both arrows just get cut out in the middle of the air,
and he's looking up at you.
I will finish this again.
Can he reach me?
Yeah.
All right, so that finishes Vex's go.
Keyleth, you're up.
What?
This is about to help a little.
Maybe. Maybe.
He's got a little while before he does.
I'm going to bonus action
to switch forms into my air elemental form.
Okay.
I, as my air elemental form
starts from the top down,
and as I release the earth elemental form
and push off, Earthquake is still up.
So another 50 damage to everything.
Okay.
As I float to the air.
Okay, so you take up into the air.
Mm-hmm. What's your distance? I'm going to, so I believe I'm going to the air. Okay, so you take up into the air.
What's your distance?
I'm going to, so I believe my flight distance,
let me pull this up, hold on.
90-foot flying speed,
and I'm going to go to the tippity-top of the
hubbid-hebid-hebid-heb.
I'm going for the ball.
Okay.
Can I see my boyfriend?
First off.
50 damage to all these structures.
You watch as the towers on each side
begin to collapse.
These current channels for the Weavemine
begin to tumble inward. Yes, yes, yes.
That's what I was afraid that was going to take out Vex.
Yeah, that's why I wanted to get in the air
before your turn. Uh-huh.
This will all...
That's huge.
That's huge.
We're good.
My heart's racing. Leaving this guy floating here.
All of this is rubble and teeth.
Just loose teeth.
That took me years to meet enough children and dentists.
That's very interesting.
Hit Pit by laughing back, yes.
Big fan.
Yeah.
All right, so.
What about the other tower?
A creature within half the distance
of a structure's height has to make a dexterity saving throw.
That's a lot of us.
So yeah, that's going to be Liev'tel, Scanlan,
and this Weavemine here, as well as Scrag.
Freedom of the Movement doesn't affect this roll, right?
No. No, this is collapsing towers.
So all right, that's going to be eight this is Collapsing Towers, so.
All right, that's going to be
20 points of bludgeoning damage.
So what'd you roll?
I got a 16.
So that's 22 points of bludgeoning damage
to you, Lieve. Okay.
Scanlan? Full damage, 22.
22 points of bludgeoning damage.
Sorry.
That, she went there.
That's going to be a fail on him.
He takes 22 as well.
All three of you are knocked prone
and you are currently restrained
and buried in rubble from the building.
Except for me, I'm there to correct.
That's right, because you are
both have freedom of movement.
That's right.
Which is, was halted.
That was really good.
It's a great spell, man.
Yeah, you did.
All right.
That guy, however, though,
is completely buried in rubble right there.
He's just like,
Oh no, I can't get out of here.
So much teeth.
Up here, however, this guy also
Yes, yes!
Ugh!
I got it!
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
And he is now floating over this path here.
Where it was.
The rest of that tower has now collapsed
and is out of the battle.
There we go.
That finishes that point.
This tower here is.
Right as you rush up, the tower is collapsing.
It is breaking apart in front of you.
Can I see the ball?
You can make a perception or investigation check
to see if you can.
Come on.
Okay, okay.
Come on, this is when I need a nat 20.
This is when I need a nat 20.
This is when I need a nat 20.
15.
15, 15 is just enough.
As it is cracking and breaking and falling,
you reach forward and you can see part of it
starting to pull away, and as you do,
you can see the mechanisms inside of it
are all pushed into this dark sphere.
This sphere that is like a small,
rapidly spinning, vibrating glass
gathering of dark shadow.
It looks like it's strained and cracking.
Cracking!
You see it as you reach out
and encapsulate it with your wind-charged essence.
Yeah, I almost want to just go,
because I can encompass a space,
so I just almost want to take it into me.
You fill the gaps in there.
To try and pull it out with you,
make a strength check for me, if you don't mind.
A strength check.
I'll say strength or dexterity on this
because y'all are trying to pull it through the gaps.
Using the physicality of your...
Yeah, using my elemental form.
Balls deep.
You're just making sure there's nothing here.
They started it.
Nothing's happening.
Never.
Nothing's happening.
It's a very beautiful moment.
Yeah.
You got this, Keyleth. Come on.
Okay.
18.
18.
You shift your form through,
focusing on where the sphere is placed within you,
and as you do, you maneuver it through and around
its fragile state,
being maneuvered through the crumbling tower.
As you emerge from the outside,
the last bits of cables that are affixed to it,
pulling and pulling, trying to yank it back
as part of the main device before they snap.
As they pull away, the sphere shatters inside you.
And a cluster of black shadow
and a cluster of black shadow
drips out of your body.
Ugh!
It gently hits the ground.
Oh no, no, no. Like mist.
And there you see forming,
before the now crumbling remains of the Malleus Key
as it teeters and smashes onto the ground.
You see the black shadow form
the tattered standing form
of Vax'Alan.
Oh shit.
Yeah!
Oh shit.
Oh god.
Oh shit. Oh, that Oh god. Oh shit.
Damn it.
Oh, that's foreshadowing. Yep.
You cannot die.
You cannot die, Vex'ahlia.
Actually, that would be pretty poetic.
No!
It would be poetic.
It would be.
She sees her brother for like 10 minutes.
Ugh!
10 minutes. What happened today? 10 minutes. It's like, I won't even like 10 minutes. Ugh! 10 minutes. 10 minutes.
I won't even say a word.
This tower is gone.
The tower is gone?
It is collapsed and crumbled.
Mission successful, let's get the fuck out.
I'm telling that.
Vax and Nen, if you wouldn't mind rolling initiative.
Oh!
What?
He starts back again at level one, right?
Yeah, yeah, that's how it works.
As a note, Vax,
due to the state of your physicality
and the damage sustained at the attack on the tower,
you do start at minus 65 hit points.
Because we Earthquaked the tower?
I mean, we got to hit the tower now.
Yes. There's no way around it.
Understood. Well, it's the tower. I'm able to get into the tower now. Yes. There's no way around it. Understood.
Well, it's the tower.
Because of him being attached to it?
Well, also just the strain of being in the tower.
Of being in the tower for weeks.
Right, okay.
And a little bit of Jocelyn.
Minus 65.
I'm trying. Minus 65.
Swidule of Jocelyn.
Natural 20.
Oh!
No. That's a way to start.
Oh my god. Oh my god. An initiative of 25. Oh! No. That's a way to start. Oh my god, oh my god.
An initiative of 25.
Oh my god!
So that's before your sister.
Yes, it is.
Of course it is!
And after Percy.
After Percy and before Vax.
Wow. All righty.
So I'm, so wait.
So where's my air elemental form then?
It has to go first.
Oh right, your elemental will be?
I'm still floating.
Up here right now.
Okay.
That's, what was it, between you and Percy?
That's what it was?
It's okay, we can pretend these.
There you go.
That works.
This map is crazy.
Okay.
There's five floating, six floating things.
It's crazy that it's only the third round.
Does anybody else,
does anything else happen because of Earthquake?
I guess that's it, that's my turn, right?
Yeah, that's it.
Wow, that sucks.
Because you used your action play up.
Finish your turn.
Go, Keyleth.
All right, it is now Scrag's turn.
Scrag was given the command
to attack whatever was on its back.
That was me being an asshole.
I meant attack Ozo Cruth.
Okay.
As Scrag shifts.
All right.
Right there.
Look at that main face.
Shift on.
Push it back.
Oh, he's kind of cute a little bit.
Shift on its master at the moment
as Ozo looks over his shoulder,
seeing the strange action of one of his prized,
bonded companions turning on him in the moment,
its eyes wide and affected with strange, aberrant magic.
It's going to take its attacks on Ozo.
I love that Trinket's just riding his back, though.
Trinket's having the fucking time of his life.
This is awesome!
Got spit out.
Whoa!
Not no more!
Actually, at the end of that last turn,
Ozo's going to use Involutionary Action to surge
and regain his reaction, because he's going to want that.
So with that, let's go with the four Scythe Claw attacks
against Ozo.
Ooh, that's a natural 20.
Ooh!
Natural 17, a natural 18.
Ooh! Damn.
This is the irony I'm okay with.
Good boy.
The 22.
Ozo is going to go ahead and take them all.
Really? Yep.
I don't like the confidence in which you said that.
I don't either.
So that's going to be...
Please.
Why? Why?
It's going to be...
Two points of damage against him.
Horse gambling.
Well, that's about all. On the other side.
All the way down. 20 points of.
With Lea's power.
Yeah.
I already take it all.
That's better. I already take what?
Even a crit?
You take it all.
And...
Ozo's starting to look pretty hurt. Not happy.
Maybe all the hits were higher.
It's safety. It wouldn't have mattered.
Well, the three did not recharge its Corroding Spray.
It's going to do its final attack against him,
which is its mandibles, its razor mandibles.
That's going to be a 21, which misses.
So the mandibles do not strike.
Actually, I will say it strikes down
and he puts his mace up and lodges it in the mandible,
looks up and she goes like,
and the beast is going to look confused at the moment.
At the end of its turn, does it get to try and save
against your domination?
At my turn. its turn, does it get to try and save against your domination? At the end of my turn.
Your turn, okay.
Or if it gets injured.
Or if it gets injured, okay.
Okay, well, that's going to go ahead
and finish Scrag's turn,
in which it unleashed on its master.
It brings us to the...
There's no more rivals since the Bloody Bridge is destroyed.
It's going to go ahead and bring us to
Eivtel, who is currently holding the beacon in your hand.
Prone, right? Prone.
No, no. No, you don't.
Oh, wait. No, you ignore prone
because of the movement. Oh, I can stand through.
Okay. Yeah.
So go ahead and make a wisdom saving throw for me, please.
Okay. There was a.
Oh jeez.
Oh, wisdom saving throw.
Because the beacon is just holding the beacon.
Good.
Oh, well, 15.
15?
Okay.
So as you hold your hand,
it clutching your fingers,
you feel the essence of it pulling you in
and you lose yourself momentarily.
You can continue with your turn if you want to,
but you are distracted for your turn.
So any attack, any rolls you make are at disadvantage
and you can move half your speed.
Half my speed.
I can't really see over this map too well.
That's why they build animals.
I've been going around the entire table trying to see.
I would have seen, if I was still on my feet,
I would have seen the air elemental pulling the sphere
and then spilling it out.
I see Vex'ahlia flying above, really injured.
So what I would like to do is try to walk as close as I can
to Vex and where the ink dropped out.
I don't know if that's the bottom of the steps.
Yeah, it's about there.
You can get, because you move half movement,
which is 15 feet, and it'll get you right next
to the scan on the other side.
I look within 60 feet of Vex'ahlia.
Yeah.
She cradles the beacon in one hand
after pulling her face away from it,
and she pulls a bone staff with a little boned claw
on the end holding a gem and aims it.
No.
No, that's, I'm not going to do that.
What?
She holds her hand out
and shadow spills out around her like a blouse,
covering the floor, creeping up the stairs and shadow spills out around her like a blouse,
covering the floor, creeping up the stairs and wafting into the air, and she casts Mass Heal.
I'm going to burn my ninth.
Whoa! Okay.
That's nuts. That's huge.
I'm looking at the wrong shit.
So that's hundreds of hit points.
700 hit points. 700.
So she will hit Vax and get him to full.
She will hit Vex and get her to full.
Hold up.
Tell me the amount to max.
It's like, what's the key? 140.
So that's like a hundred.
What's the total to your max? To max, it's like? 140. So that's like a hundred.
What's the total to your max?
To get to my max is 147.
Okay.
To Vax, it was
165, so he's at full.
I have almost 500 left.
She will heal Centaur.
She will heal, is Percy within range?
Percy is about 100 feet from you.
Okay, so no.
Grog? Herself.
And I don't know if Grog is probably cusp.
I'll take 100 if you got him.
I've got. Grog's further than.
I can't reach many people.
It was really just to hit the twins.
Beautiful. Okay.
The Ryloren on the ground. Mm- Okay. The Ryloran on the ground,
the two Rylorans here are going to use their reactions
to use Dampen Divinity,
which halves the amount of hit points gained.
Oh shit.
Hasn't been an opportunity for them
to show this in the past,
but they, as a reaction, can reduce healing.
My 8th and 9th-level spells got kicked in the nuts.
So wait, we still get healed, but half?
You still get healed, but whatever you received
from that heal, you get half of it instead.
If I have 700, can I continue to funnel the excess
since it's so few people?
It's the idea of, if you do the healing,
and then the heal is reduced in half.
And they're both doing it
so it gets halved and halved again?
Well, this one is reducing Vax.
This one's reducing Vex.
And then this one's reducing Lieto.
What about me?
Actually, this one can reduce Scanlan.
Okay.
So everyone, whatever would get you up to,
whatever gap you have to full,
you just cut that in half.
Okay.
That's great. That's all their reaction.
That's still great.
That's still great.
But that is an innate ability of the Rylorans.
That's still 75.
They devoured divinity.
Okay.
But that's still great.
It's still, yeah, it's a game changer.
Sometimes he casts Tidal Wave
and it doesn't do as much as it does.
Yeah, sometimes he casts Riddick Quaker
in a city made of flesh and nothing moves.
Yep. Yep.
Yeah.
So I'm doing my own math.
It's okay, Mister Two Characters on the board right now.
I don't know.
I think you've got plenty to do.
If you watch, I don't know when to give up.
Wowzers.
What am I doing next?
Everything's fine.
Lay a talent.
Vog's up next.
What do we do?
I can cast a cantrip. We run, we kill?
We kill. After that action?
As a bonus? As a bonus action.
If it's a bonus, no.
Thank you.
Is that your turn?
Yeah, that's my turn.
You want to move anywhere, or?
Oh, you already moved. I moved, yeah.
You look up, cast Mass Heal.
It gets half eaten by the surrounding Rylor
and essences, but it's still enough
to greatly help your friends.
And you continue to walk, holding this beacon
that is just like.
You feel like you're getting vertigo
just walking with it.
All right, that finishes your go, Liebtel.
The Shrike's go.
This one is going to rush up to Grog there.
I think it's the only standing Shrike
at the moment, if I can see.
So it's going to come at you, Grog, with its arm blades.
It's going to make three attacks against you.
It's like he has arms.
But they're blades.
Yeah, that's weird.
Natural 20, 25, and a 12.
First hit, second doesn't.
I'll use my Retaliatory Strike as well.
Okay, so two hits and a crit.
Or sorry, one hit and a crit.
Beautiful.
All right, so the crit is going to be a nice,
old 11 points of slashing damage, reduced to five. Got it. So the crit is going to be a nice, old,
11 points of slashing damage, reduced to five. Got it.
The one that hits you is going to be
seven points, reduced to three.
Amazing.
22 to hit?
That was, oh yeah, that hits.
No!
Tried to change a thing on my page and it vanished.
Don't do it!
Yeah, you can't do it.
Don't do it! Yeah, you can't do it. Don't do it.
Uh.
It's like, don't do it, just don't do it.
Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it.
Don't do it.
Don't do it, just don't do it.
Fuck.
30 points of slashing damage,
three points of necrotic.
Ooh, he's looking real hurt.
Comes up and.
Fuck off!
Dark, like, shark eyes go wide for a second
as you just, wham, falls to the ground and.
In his little daze and like,
come at me, bro.
Aw.
Don't say cute, it's a killer.
Oh, that is so critical.
Take a round, Tommy.
Fair. All right, that finishes the strike all the way around, Tommy! Fair.
All right, that finishes the Shrike's go.
Grog, you're up. It's going to be on deck.
Grog just starts to vibrate,
and he looks down at the little Shrike and goes,
Run!
And starts walking slowly past the Shrike,
knowing he'll take the Attack of Opportunity.
Okay, you walk past the Shrike.
The Shrike is going to take the Attack of Opportunity. Okay, you walk past the Shrike. The Shrike is going to take the Attack of Opportunity.
Ooh, natural 19.
I think it's going to be a 28 to hit.
You take, ooh, a whopping 11 points of slashing damage,
reduced to five. Take it.
As you walk by, it looks turned around,
looks right at the massive flaming elemental
that is Zirconos in front, and is like,
I'm just going to go.
Grog's going to look over and say,
Hey, Ozo de Bozo.
Do-do, do-do, do-do, do-do.
He's doing his own theme music.
He's just doing it.
Do-do, do-do, do-do, do-do, do-do, do-do. Yes! Do-do, do-do. He's doing his own theme music. He's just.
Yes!
Do-do-do-do.
Race you to the bottom.
Get him, buddy!
Fucking go! I'll engage Ozo.
Yes!
I'll go Reckless Frenzied Rage.
Yes!
I'll make the first of three attacks.
Let's go!
Great Weapon Master on all of them.
Yes! All right.
The first one is 32 minus five is 27.
32 is going to be 27.
That hits.
Okay.
Is he at 26 or is he 23 right now?
Is 32 minus five is 27?
That hits.
Okay, third one.
I'll make this a disarming strike
with a superiority die. Okay.
That's 14, 16, 30, 36, 31 to hit.
Yeah, they all hit.
Yes!
Let's go, buddy!
Let's go, Grog!
Where's the popcorn?
10, 11, 12, balls.
35 on the first one.
Second one is nine, 18.
What's that one? 18,
20,
23, 33 for the second one. Mm-hmm.
And the third one is
37,
21, 31, plus
36 for the third one.
How do you want to do this?
Yes!
Get him! Yes!
I'll take the bloodaxe and cut once into his left delt,
which sends his shoulder sagging.
His mace just
grow out with a heavy hit. I'll cut once
into his right delt, which sends the other arm sagging. His mace just to the ground with a heavy hit. I'll cut once into his right delt,
which sends the other arm sagging.
For the third one, I'll start low.
He's going to start running at you.
Yeah, just navel to chin.
You do so, and the blade stops partway in.
The axe lodges up.
His dense torso and ribcage catches it inside.
The axe is burrowed into his abdomen and won't go through.
His arms themselves just hanging to the side, useless.
He pulls in and leans into your face.
Yeah, I'll get fixed, Dad.
Oh my god.
My hand goes into his ribcage and I
into his mandible.
I'm so sorry for killing my friend.
I really shouldn't have fucked with Vox Machina.
Yeah!
He tried to Uruk-hai you.
It didn't work.
Not in his favor.
Yeah. You never got to Uruk-hai.
Oh, I had this action surge
and I didn't even get to use it.
Oh, buddies.
I turn around and look at the big ass worm behind me.
I'll hold it.
At the death of their master,
both creatures start screeching
madly, a sorrowful, baleful cry
and fury of vengeance.
Don't give sad faces right now.
Essence.
They are both feral and Frenzied.
All right.
The creatures are Feral and Frenzied?
This one's still under control, though, or no?
Still under Scanlan's control.
Apparently.
Heal 10 hit points for the kill.
Temporary hit points.
I think I used all my distance to get over there.
I'm going to put Trinket.
Trinket moves into the seat.
Yeah!
What a go-ball!
He's just holding on, you're like,
Who's your dad, you?
Get him, Trinket!
He's going to get some of those britches.
If I use an action surge,
that gets my, I get two more attacks?
You do. Not the third friend. Correct.
That's a bonus action. Just the two. Okay.
But I've used up my movement, so I couldn't really travel
if I wanted to, and I've used my bonus action. Your movement was
5,
10, 15, 20,
25, 30. You've moved 35.
35. To get to Ozo.
I have 50. Could I use
15 feet and use...
My bonus action would be the boots
to go 20 additional feet,
but I think I've used my bonus, haven't I?
You have, yeah. Okay.
Then I'll just, I'll use my, that's my turn.
I wouldn't be able to get to Wormy anyway.
But I'll start walking back towards Wormy
so I can put myself between Pike and,
yeah, if I can be a hard pair. Right there?
Just to stay in the way. Yeah, that'll get you there.
Cool. Even look at my buddies.
Yeah, buddies.
All righty, that finishes your go, Grog.
Scanlan, you're up.
Ooh.
I will try to get rid of this thorn in our side,
the floaty guy up there in the corner.
Yeah.
I will rear up on my hind legs
and I'll fire a bolt of lightning up at them.
Okay.
Okay, so. What level?
I just, I guess, 4th.
Okay, so 96.
Yeah.
Dexterity saving throw.
That is going to be natural six plus...
Yeah, that's going to be a 13.
No.
It's already pretty.
Oh, less than that, never mind.
Okay.
So 10, 20, and then three more.
26 lightning damage.
It tries to glide out of the way,
and as the bolt hits it,
you see it screech in your mind for a second.
Yeah!
And just disintegrates into ash.
Oh, this one was already heavily hurt
by Vex early in the fight,
and that was the final blow for it.
Yes. Thank you, Golf Club.
Mm-hmm.
I will, unless it saves,
I will do a new command to Scrag.
Boy, that worm looks really aggressive.
I think you should probably take out the worm, Scrag.
Sorry.
Then the beacon is behind me with Liev'tel, right?
Yes, Liev'tel is currently holding it.
And does she look okay?
She looks a little better than she did before.
She's healed up a little bit.
She's not possessed by it or anything.
Make an insight check. Okay.
That's a natural one.
She fine? She looks super creepy and fine.
Oh, it's a two. It's a two.
4A, total of?
Four.
Yeah, I mean, she's hard to read anyway. It's a two. 4A, total of? Four.
Yeah, I mean, she's hard to read anyway. She doesn't read people very well.
Yeah, that makes all the sense.
Then that's all I'll do, I guess.
I'll offer my back to Lievtel if they want to ride.
Oh yeah, they do. Okay. Maybe I'll gall my back to Lievtel if they want to ride. Oh yeah, they do. Okay.
Maybe I'll gallop up the stairs to get closer to Vax.
I don't know. Fantastic.
Slide, slide, Liko's heart.
Scanlan's ride.
All righty. That finishes Scanlan's go.
Oza was off the board, but it is Vorak's go.
Uh-oh.
Vorak will
shift over here,
bowing over here, and seeing the flying, glowing,
tiny little morsel that floats there.
You turn around and see it come up behind it,
and it's going to try and strike at you, Pike.
Okay.
That's going to be...
She's like a grape, you know?
Single grape. I'll look at the wrong one.
Tasty.
Wouldn't she want to help you?
Yeah.
That's Scrag.
Four out is going to be...
Terrible sound, I feel bad for that one.
24 to hit?
It hits, yeah.
Okay.
All right, so you take...
Okay, okay, okay.
30 points of piercing damage. Which I'm resistant.
Right, so you take 15.
Okay.
I need you to make a dexterity saving throw.
Okay.
You got this.
Okay.
Dex, dex, dex, dex.
Oh, that was almost a natural 20, did you see it?
That's a nine.
That's a nine.
You are flying forward,
see it coming as you spin to fly away.
No, no, no, no, no!
Everything goes dark as you see the creature
and you snatch up. Damn it!
Damn it, right before my damn turn!
Okay, that's okay, it's okay.
We can still do stuff inside.
I can do stuff in there, I can do stuff in there.
Oh yeah.
And for its second attack,
it's going to go ahead and Bane Spines around it.
Okay.
I see.
So Grog, make a dexterity saving throw. Dexterity? Yes, please. You got it. Okay. I see. So Grog, make a dexterity saving throw.
Dexterity? Yes, please.
You got it.
Oh, it was only, oh, it is a natural 20!
Oh! Oh, yeah!
So 28 damage reduced to half.
19. 28 to 14.
And then half that because you're,
so that's seven.
Seven points of piercing damage.
At the end of my turn, Scrag gets to make a wisdom save to try to break free of my attack're, so that's seven. Seven points of piercing damage. At the end of my turn,
Scrag gets to make a wisdom save to try to
break free of my control. Oh, that's true! Yes!
That is going to be,
I don't think, no, 19.
19 doesn't do it, right?
Yeah. 22.
Wow! 22, that's huge.
Yeah.
Very high.
Scanlan was overpowered. Oh, that's right, because you that's huge. Yeah. That's very high. Scanlan was overpowered.
Oh, that's right, because you had those books.
Had the hand cone of clarity.
Hand cone of clarity, baby.
Had? You had.
I don't know if you're up.
Yes.
Yeah, I'm going to just turn
and face that little guy right in front of me,
blade-armed guy that Grog jacked up real bad.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, and I'm just going to take a touch attack out of him,
just a big, fiery swipe out of it.
You got it, so move into here.
Come on, Seconis, impress Liev Tell.
I'm trying!
21.
She can't, she hasn't been able to see this whole time.
And then two to Seconis.
Seven, six.
Seven, Seconis!
13 points of damage on that one.
13 points of damage.
And then he's also on fire.
Yes, he is, and he falls to the ground,
looking up at you.
As the flames carve through his skull and he burns.
I'm narrating in real time to Lieve
to tell what Sirkonos is doing.
Amazing.
Finally feeling confident,
looking around the battlefield,
seeing all these heroes do this amazing stuff.
The earth is shaking.
You just puppet mastered a guy.
My hero just nuked a guy from the shadows.
That's exactly what I'm seeing in my mind's eye.
Speaking of mind's eye, I look at my wrist,
and even though I don't have a human form,
I can picture my favorite bracelet
that I made before we left.
It just says, WWSD, what would Scanlan do?
Oh my god.
After I vaporize that guy,
to myself, to myself, I say,
now's your chance to be charismatic and charming,
to say something, make it funny,
make it cool, make it perverted!
And then I'm going to use Blink Staff after my attack
and take 30 feet and poof right in front of the worm
because I can teleport right there and I go,
Hey!
You look like diseased genitalia!
Tell me, does it burn when you urinate?
Nice.
Is that all the sound of cracking a cracker?
It is.
Yeah, yeah, get out of here.
But now there's a fiery hand pointing at you.
Jaden was bad about that.
And then I'm going to take a punch
at his urethra looking at him.
Go for it, go for it.
I thought you were casting a spell.
Punch him in the face.
18.
18 just hits Vore.
Just barely.
Oh, pretty good.
11 plus seven, 18.
18 points of damage, and it is on fire, correct?
Yeah, he is on fire.
Then as I teleported,
my birds covered the distance with me after that strike.
Oh yeah.
So then I can force a dex save on the worm.
Indeed.
19.
The natural two, it is not going to do it.
Sick, that looks pretty good.
10, 13, six, 19, nine, 28, seven.
Wow.
35 damage from the birds.
And then since I connected on that attack,
I can do one more blink step,
and I'm going to pop into his mouth, inside the body,
and uppercut him from the inside.
That's good.
For my last attack.
Ugh, nah. Come on.
Come on, flame speaker.
Not great.
Yeah, that probably won't hit.
That misses, yeah.
But I'm currently. Pike, you're now out.
What was it?
It was a 13.
Yeah.
You were inside its mouth, and he's inside its mouth.
But I'm within 30 feet.
Yeah, I'd say you can see the flame
and the light up in the gullet.
What if I did...
War God's Blessing? War God's Blessing
and adds an extra 10?
You can do that. Oh yeah, absolutely.
That'll hit.
Yeah, yeah, okay, cool.
Sweet, thanks!
You see you're just tethered in burning, acidic darkness
and a bit of light peers in
and it looks like someone's bringing a torch
around the corner of a wall.
You see the flaming form of Zirconos
punching his way into the mouth of this creature.
Thank you for that.
That was 15 damage. Nice.
Also, because I'm inside him and occupying his space,
which I can do in this form, he's on fire.
His head should be on fire.
Those flames are emerging out of its mouth.
You are glowing and beating around inside its jaw.
That is a pretty solid,
it's almost 70 points of damage in one round.
Yes! Hell yeah.
All right, and that's it for everything for me?
All right, that finishes Zirconus' go.
Pike. Pumping on the fireball now.
Ha ha ha.
Pike, beginning of your turn, you take...
I'm trying!
Ooh.
That was awesome.
No. You take 25 points was not slow. No.
Take 25 points of acid damage.
Okay. Digesting you
from within.
Ike!
It's okay, it's okay.
I'm great, I'm a tank.
I'm a tank.
Okay.
All right, I am going to...
Fart a little bit.
Where did you go?
All right, there we go.
I am going to just put my hands out on either side,
and I'm going to inflict wounds.
At what level?
The seventh.
Whoa!
Whoa!
I'm going to blow this puppy up.
Yeah!
All right, so that is,
let me roll to see if it works.
No, you do have disadvantage on attacks within,
because you, well, it's a touch attack.
Yeah. Yeah.
I'll say, even though you're restrained, if anything.
If I'm like this?
No, you are, you have advantage on the attack.
I'll say.
Hey!
A touch attack while you're inside of it,
that wouldn't make any sense otherwise.
Okay.
Well, that's a 21.
21 hits.
Okay, okay, okay, great.
So that is a 90, 10.
Fuck yeah!
Come on.
I might have gotten a little overboard here,
but that's just what we're going to do.
Okay.
I'm going to get my tans.
Mm. Oh, thank you. I'm going to get my 10s. Mm.
Oh, thank you.
I have some here.
I'm going to mix them up for this one.
All right, so we got, is that 10?
A zero is a 10, yes.
Okay, so 15, 17.
Nine, yeah, 26.
Hmm.
That's a little better.
Next 36, 42.
One more?
One more?
Is it 10d10 or how many more?
I think it's 10.
90d10. 90d10.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Yeah.
So that was 42.
Two.
42.
Is it 42 plus anything?
42, just 42 points.
Okay, has it made a constitution save
for half the amount of damage it took?
That is going to be a 14.
It fails, it spits you out.
Yay!
High trick put.
I got her!
Kaboosh!
You know what, you want to go ahead and chime in?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh!
Make an athletics check. I'm sorry.
Make an athletics check. I'm sorry.
Make an athletics check. Okay.
With advantage, because you're raging.
A plus 14.
22!
You just manage to baseball mitt, catch her.
I hit 14!
Woo hoo!
As a bunch of its acid spittle comes up on you as well.
Ah!
But you catch her and set her down.
You are no longer in the creature's stomach.
Okay.
All righty.
So does it finish Turnpike?
Turnpike. Turnpike.
Well, I guess it does, because...
All right, so that was that.
I don't have any movement.
No bonus action.
I mean, I guess I could take a,
with Warpriest, when you use the attack action,
you can make a weapon, wow.
One weapon attack is a bonus action? But you can't take an attack action. Oh yeah, yeah, okay, wow. One weapon attack is a bonus action?
But you're not taking an attack action.
Oh yeah, yeah, oh, okay, sorry.
Okay, sorry.
That's it, that's all I got.
All right.
These vanguard folks are going to just continue to run.
This guy and this guy are both going to run way over here.
Just give the fucker the dodge.
This guy here is going to run way over here. Just get the fuck out of Dodge. This guy here is going to run and flee.
Oh yeah. Oh shit.
That's okay. I know that changes things.
I'll figure it out.
Goddamn it.
I will finish the jam card.
This thought eater here is going to...
That definitely hooks up my reality a little.
Shift up.
Ugh. Oh, that's something.
It's going to fly down into the center here.
Look up and raise its hand.
Oh, what's this now? What now?
You see as the four different orbs here
begin to glow,
the spectral images of the Weavemind.
Is it still connect?
Appearing of it.
It can still connect to it,
even though the moon is not connected?
It can still connect!
Is it casting a spell? The Bloody Bridge
was a means of people to travel to and from.
Ah!
Well, maybe Mighty Nein
has already done what they're supposed to do.
Not yet.
Okay.
Is it casting a spell?
It might be.
I will Counterspell it.
Okay, what level?
I don't know what it's doing.
You don't know.
So let's say six.
Six, okay.
You see him becoming a conduit for the Weave Mine,
all generating all the psychic power into him.
Begins to glow his eyes,
going from a black, deep, colorless darkness
into a bright, vibrant, flickering psychic frenzy.
Spins and unleashes this massive blanket
of soft, psychic cleansing energy
in the direction of Scrag.
And it just dissipates.
Oh!
Across the board.
It looks over at you and goes,
as the grace that we have in mind
blink out one by one.
I lock eyes with it,
and then big piece of poop just falls out of my mouth.
Which, based on where you're standing, goes
down the stairs.
Just leave a little nod.
Yeah, yeah.
Little Indiana Jones travel line.
Little.
Indiana Jones travel line.
These troopers are going to quickly
do-do-do!
back into the place,
going to try and swarm against the wounded champion.
No!
What if Vax forgot how to fight?
What if he can't move?
What if it's like Princess Bride and he's
11. Missed.
28.
Oh, that'll hit.
All right, you take four slashing damage.
The other guy is going to attack.
He's making advantage on each of these.
Natural 20.
Okay.
For? Cutting words.
You can do that?
20 points of slashing damage.
Leah of Tel can do it.
Cutting words? Natural 20.
No, she has- She can steal it.
She's within 30 feet and she does,
it's called Sentinel at Death's Door.
Unfortunately, they're a little beyond 30 feet from her.
All right. That's okay.
So that's just 20 points of damage.
I can't see over there. Okay.
The other one is going to be
19 to hit? Miss.
Okay.
As they're both striking at this wounded champion,
who seems not as affected as they had hoped in this frenzy,
begin to step away to the side,
and they're both going to leap off.
I'll cut that motherfucker.
Yep, go for it. Come on.
Natural 20.
Let's go, one for one.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
Where's the stuff?
Where's the stuff? There it is.
Okay, so that is with Whisper, so boy, oh boy. Where's the stuff? Where's the stuff? There it is.
Okay, so that is with Whisper, so that is...
Shit.
Four ones was eight, is nine.
Then Necrotic, so nine points of slashing damage, and...
Oh wait, no, I got to double the damage.
So two, and the necrotic is 12.
Mm-hmm.
So two, two, 10 points of slashing damage,
12 points of necrotic damage,
and it has to make a wisdom save 17,
or be afraid of me.
Natural 19. Okay.
He's running away. We can succeed.
Okay. Okay.
Hits the ground, gets up.
It's like they're both hobbling and running away.
That finishes their go.
Tough ground, Percy, you're up in the back.
I'm going to take my 30 feet and head up towards
where we're having a little family reunion over there.
Okay. 30 feet will get up towards where we're having a little family reunion over there. Okay.
30 feet will get you just beneath Skrag.
Okay.
I'm going to, as long as I have clear view
of the guy right up in the center right there.
Do I have a clear view of him?
You do. All right.
I'm going to take an Animus hit and hope this goes well.
Simon rolling crap.
Animus shot.
It's 29 to hit.
That hits.
That's my pen, my pen.
Okay.
That's, and I know it's ridiculous for the psychic,
but I'll take it.
Nine points of damage plus, oh.
Nine points of damage plus six psychic.
Okay.
Here we go for another one.
For fuck's sakes.
Hold on.
No, I'm good.
18?
18 hits.
Absolute crap.
That's 15 points of damage with Force Eye Kick.
Okay.
This one, as you're striking it,
the blaster
blasting past an arcane shield
that has not been broken yet.
Mm-hmm.
I'm going to take another shot. Or a psychic shield.
No, and I take 2d6. This has been my shot. Psychic Shield. Nope.
And I take 2d6.
This has been my game.
Oh, buddy.
I take 2d6 damage.
Here we go, where is it?
Where is it? There we are.
He's just, you know, he's a little older.
I take five psychic damage.
I have rolled such shit.
It has been embarrassing.
You didn't even have such. I retried. You watched your wife die. You're emotionally distraught. I have not, I have rolled such shit. It has been embarrassing. And even as such.
You watched your wife die.
You're emotionally distraught.
I know.
Even though I have, yeah, this is the worst
I've ever rolled.
And then, let's see, I don't have that.
So there's, that's gone.
Hold on, let me see what else I got.
Hopefully someone knows what they have.
Just send a toy.
I can't, that's a full action.
Full action?
That's a full action. Full action? It's a full action. Full action?
Bonus action, oh my god.
Second one for bonus action.
Go for it.
Finish your go first?
Yeah, let's see.
But you exited that way.
23, yeah, okay.
You came back that way.
I'm all done.
Don't trust her, don't trust her.
Is this not a real time?
We've done no damage to the Scrag.
The Scrag?
The Scrag?
We let him, he's been controlled.
Yeah.
No, we're leaving him absolutely alone.
Well, for a second.
For now.
For now. No, he's just a friend. Percy, is that your turn alone. Well, for a second. For now. For now.
Maybe we'll just be friends?
Percy, is that your turn?
Oh yeah, that's everything.
Backs you up.
Oh.
What the fuck?
I said I'm done, so.
Sorry, I didn't hear that.
He was in his first workshop.
I claim the moon mine.
I am.
And in a blink of an eye,
I'm going to pirouette around this Ryloren
so that I'm on the other side of it, not breaking.
Shoo!
Ah!
Ah!
You pirouetted too far into the center.
Old Grey Mirror, just say what you used to be!
I take it away.
And I will dagger, dagger, dagger.
Here we go. Let's go.
Ooh, that is a natural one.
I'll use my first luck to reroll it.
Yeah!
That is a 24 to hit.
That'll hit.
Okay, so.
Da-da-lee-lee-lee.
Da-da-lee-lee-lee.
That is three.
This one is four, plus the necrotic.
Four points of slashing, one point of necrotic,
five points, but I will also dump
a second-level smite in it for 3d8.
He'll just poop as well.
He's been in there for a long time.
That's true.
He can do it, I can do it.
He's just like, burned to it.
18 points of smite.
That is the first dagger.
Three on that, all right, awesome.
Keeps slashing with Whisper.
That does shatter the psychic shield.
Hey! And now your wounds
are going directly to the creature.
27 points of damage.
One, come on, man.
That is nine, plus the necrotic is 11,
and I will dump another second-level smite in there.
So that is five.
You became the champion.
You got a cloaca.
13 points of smite.
Last dagger is, that's a natural one.
I'm going to save the luck for something more important
after doing that once.
Okay, it's looking pretty hurt.
Just you already carved it up.
As you're rolling around it,
and landing it aside, the thought eater is like,
Yeah, fuck it, I roll, I burn luck,
and I get a 20,
21.
That hits. Okay.
Okay, so that is four, five,
and seven is 12 between slashing and necrotic.
How do I do this?
Hey, welcome back, bitch!
Okay, so the first slash is as Vax moves to the new position,
the dagger just streaks across along its gut
and that's what breaks the shield.
He continues up its sternum, cutting up to the neck,
and then he pushes with such ferocity through
that the head goes almost off, leaving a little bit,
and then falls to the side and splits away.
Then he will into the air, 15 feet,
and turn and look to his sister.
Whoa.
Then turn and see the swirl of air
that he knows to be the air of Shari,
and then he'll look back to the field.
Happy birthday!
So you're just staying floating 15 in the air?
Yeah. Okay.
That'll be you right there.
All right, finishing Vex. Vex, you're up.
Also, we're a little late,
but because I forgot the Blessing of the Everlight,
whenever I do healing,
you get an additional 10 extra points of healing,
so you actually have 10 extra points of HP.
There you go. You got 10 more.
Oh, amazing.
Not that it's going to do much here.
Can I ask a flavor question?
Sure. That's great.
How long you been in that orb?
Half the campaign.
Weeks, many weeks, months?
Probably a good almost two months.
Okay, months. Okay, got it.
Dead for many years.
Yeah.
Off the top of my head, five, six weeks.
I was asking if you aged like everyone else.
No.
Yeah.
I was just curious.
That was what I was curious about, right?
And don't you age at a slow rate, too, right?
So you guys are still like.
10 years for every 100.
Yeah.
Look.
I'm just creating this for myself.
No, I mean, he looks ragged in the sense that
he just emerged from a tortured space.
Yeah. But other than that,
complexion is still pale and young.
There's also little bits of black cloud or mist
wafting off of him as he flies in the air.
All right, Vex.
I'm just going to stare at him.
It's good to stare it in. Let's go take it back.
I'm going to take off this direction.
Up and this way to where, like, to here, if I can.
I want to get away from Scrag.
Okay, you can get about.
Endure. Up in the air, up, yeah.
Replacement here.
You could get.
Split second.
I thought, what happened to her arm?
Oh, it's the shirt.
There's where you get it, 60 feet.
Okay.
Okay.
I'm going to do something crazy.
I like it, let's go. Whoa.
I'm going to shoot two arrows. I like it, let's go. Whoa. I'm going to shoot two arrows.
A trinket. Okay.
Yeah, I'm going to, bonus action.
Hunter's Mark the Worm.
Yay!
She's back.
All right.
Hunter's Mark the Worm. All right.
I take my word.
My word.
That is 12 plus 16 minus five.
That is 12 plus 16 minus five.
11.
12 plus 16 minus five is 20.
28 minus five, 23, that hits.
Okay.
So that is a...
Oh.
That's 11 plus Hunter's Mark.
It's two, wow.
Oh, darling.
I'm writing shit just for you.
Oh, thank you.
Two for Hunter's Mark.
Sorry, should I add these things up
before I tell you this?
That's okay.
Sneak attack is 12.
Ooh! 18, 19 sneak attack.
Yeah.
Then
three for Fenthrys,
and another 10.
Okay.
Great.
The arrow strikes.
It hits it. Yeah.
And then I'm going to do it again.
Cool, let's go.
Let's go.
Pulling out all the stuff.
Two arrows? All the stuff, let's do it. Listen, you Pulling out all the stuff. Two arrows?
All the stuff. Let's do it.
You got a fancy one left that's interesting?
I do, well, okay.
I'll do a Residuum Arrow on this one,
which means that the next attack,
this next spell that hits this worm,
if you hit it with a fifth attack,
a fifth-level spell or lower,
it's going to count it as a one level up.
Nice. Just his little bonus kick. it as a one level up. Nice. Oh.
Just as a little bonus. If that makes sense.
Yep. Nice.
Okay.
This is Sharpshooter.
Oh my god.
Underrated.
Five to the left.
I don't know if that...
The wishing cave.
20, I'm sorry.
12 plus 16. Minus five. 12 plus 16, minus five.
Yeah, same, hitskin.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
One plus, okay, I'm not going to tell you
what my totals are, I'm going to add them up myself.
Okay.
I'm proud of you.
I'm going to do it myself.
He's just saying all his things.
27, 27 total.
You get seven points of damage.
I'm still saying all the same things.
Yeah, but I'm saying the total to him instead of...
No, no, no.
How do you want to do this?
Yay!
You did it!
You did it!
What?
You did something.
I did it!
Amazing.
In that case, I'm going to aim
for its mouth.
I'm going to go in a little crevice,
past Zirconos, and I'm going to try to lodge my
residuum arrow into its little dangly bit
at the back of its head.
It's the uvula. Okay.
Here, I'll toss the ball here on this.
So as you fire this arrow, it goes,
sinks into the back of its throat and marks up,
and you see this arrow strikes in
the little glistening green crystal
that is a focus for magical energy
inspires you to react.
Oh yeah. What do you do?
Oh yeah.
Then I get a bump from your level five.
You'll get a bump, but also, as it hits,
that arrow is going to go
and split apart and a fucking tree
is going to start growing out the back
of that worm's head.
So whatever you do.
You got a tree growing out of that thing?
He's got a tree growing out of his head now.
A little green crystal powder.
Aw, man.
America Grow Fruits.
It's just flavor, right?
It's just flavor.
Great. As the tree grows,
what does it do?
You tell me, does it burst out of its head?
Bursts out of the back of his head
and starts growing up, almost like antlers,
out of the back of Orym's head.
Cool. Yeah, yeah.
It's storming out, right?
A little bit, yeah?
Actually, the sky is clear now
because of the blast of the ending of the Bloody Bridge.
Yeah, well, it doesn't matter
because the lightning's coming, baby.
Yeah!
That's awesome!
Sh, sh, sh.
Hits the top of the tree,
splits it open.
Right down the middle.
Yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh man.
I'm still yelling,
we don't tell, he just split a fucking tree!
It's crazy!
I don't think he's here!
He just split it with a lightning bolt!
I haven't seen him in 20 minutes!
I haven't seen him since the worm!
All right.
So, currently,
we have many scattered figures
and troops either fleeing or on their way
in a bit to recover,
and a scrag that is currently mentally controlled
by Scanlan.
Scanlan, what do you want to do in the brief time left
that you can control this entity?
I mean, I can have it kill or I can have it run.
Yeah, flee.
Flee.
Just send it off into the desert?
Maybe make it somebody else's problem.
I know, that's what I was thinking.
Boy.
It turns.
Oh, yeah.
One full hairy in the head.
We've loved our time together, but
you don't belong with us.
You belong out there.
Free in the wild.
Oh no.
Go.
Oh no.
Go be free.
Don't look at me like that.
I don't like you.
I don't want you anymore.
Massive, bladed claw comes up
and strokes the side of your chin.
Oh!
Just go!
Just go!
Get out of here!
I'm not kidding!
I gallop over to Pike. As it takes off flying,
Trinket runs across the back.
Oh shit, that's right.
And leaps towards me. Take Trinket, too!
And I bamf it into my...
Look out here, Trinket!
Take the bear, leave the kai tree.
In this brief minute amongst the cleared skies,
the sparkling stars above,
and the eye of the
Verbial Hurricane here before the rest of the battle
finds its way to the core that you had struck.
You all take a beat,
look back at your recovered companion.
Once again, unborrowed time.
Hey, Vox.
It has been a while. How dare you look younger than me? I hug him. Okay.
DM, a question before we wade forward here. So I know the state that I've been in for so many years.
I know that the tether or the tie
or whatever you want to call it,
so there's no change with all of the everything
that's going on with the gods and him.
Everything feels to him the same?
Yeah. All right.
What will you do now? I guess it's still just the same.
You're not really back, are you?
No.
How long before you have to go?
I would like nothing more.
To stay with you all.
I've thought of you forever.
Forever and ever.
Then stay. Forever and ever.
Then stay.
She's distracted. Stay as long as you can.
Yeah, this is kind of the fight.
I mean, if you can get an extended hall pass or something.
If there is no more Matron,
do you know what happens to you?
It's funny.
I would not have her go.
You would not have her go? Okay.
Okay.
Well?
He takes her by the hand.
I'll still be here, I guess. Death is a part of life.
When I say I would not have her go,
it does not mean that I do not want to stay.
I mean, she does her kindness.
You know how it ends.
Do not mistake me. I long for our life. When will your time be served?
When will your debt be paid?
I have to assume that I won't see that in my lifetime.
And that's a long time.
There's no question that he's different than his manner when he was alive.
But there's no mistaking the amount of
melancholy and longing
and love
for all of you.
So that's it? You're just going back? SAM and LAURA say a few words.
So that's it? You're just going back?
Just right now?
I actually turn my attention to Lieve Tell.
This is why you came, isn't it?
What is there to do?
After this?
It's about this moment
that the sounds of surrounding battle
you've noticed have begun to low.
And you begin to see,
gathering around the tower tops
and walls in the distance, beings arriving.
The reinforcements, should you have needed them,
or those that were to finish the job if you could not.
Devils, warriors,
mages,
leaders,
the glowing angelic wings of the Chosen Planetars
and celestial messengers and warriors for the gods,
all encircling here,
the site of the Fallen Key.
One such hooded, massive, angelic figure,
gold skin, and a feathered wingspan
that stretches 40 feet, flies in.
Champion,
the deed here is done.
The next fight we bring to them,
to Isilra,
to finish what they might not be able to.
Come.
And all of those angels just took off.
That one took off and the others just stand there
floating and flying, staring at you.
A spectrum of Pantheon messengers.
The champion will turn to no one in particular
and stare off into the near distance.
Would it really be so bad if I were to stay?
The children would love to meet you.
I could finally find out how much
I'm embellishing the memory of you.
You feel a hand touch your shoulder,
Max, and whisper in your ear,
those that fight to buck fate
will march on their own path.
In this moment, you choose what's important to you.
In this fleeting moment.
And you feel her presence gone. I touch my own shoulder where I felt that hand.
I will serve you still.
Here.
In this mortal world.
And to its end.
Thank you.
Turns to the rest of you. What are we going to do next?
It must be done, I suppose.
What, what, what?
The night is yours.
The night is yours.
The night?
Asura?
No.
Fuck the battle.
You're here with us.
You look beyond and see droves of holy warriors,
battle-scarred adjudicators,
and high war clerics.
You see an incredible array of angels
rubbing shoulders with devils,
held from their ages-long animosity
for a singular golden purpose.
And past the muffled sounds of detonations and war cries,
the beings born of powers beyond,
their focus here completed,
begin to turn and leave together
towards goals far from here. Vax, to you guys, feels a little amazed
and confused even to a degree.
And there has been,
he's lived on a stretched view of time,
He's lived on a stretched view of time,
looking in both directions,
and he is feeling that slip away.
He doesn't fully understand what is happening yet and is feeling some of that touch of omniscience
just fading like when you wake
and the dream
wafts away.
And he threads his fingers
into Keyleth's hand
and then into his sister.
She tenses a bit.
He does a very tentative, gentle squeeze.
Tell me what I've missed.
Tell me about these nieces and nephews. We can do better.
We're Vox Machina, and we have fought today.
We go to rest, we go to recuperate, we go home, and we
will be cold when it is time. Come home, we are not battle ready. Let us rest, if even for one day. Is that all you have? One day?
How long?
I don't know.
DM, it wasn't unclear, right?
I said one night. The mandate?
You have the night.
The night, the night.
You get the sense,
based on the events transpiring,
the nature of where things are going
and the tone of her voice,
that it seemed like a gift on the precipice
of the end of everything.
I want to hear everything.
Go home. Yeah. to hear everything.
We got a lot.
Yeah. Are there any trees around here?
You look over and Grog's just pulling the guts
out of these three last, right, Lauren?
Are you looting them, too?
Yeah, definitely checking for vagabonds.
Darling, we need a tree.
There's a tree sprouting out of that worm's head.
I think that'll do.
It's fine. Okay.
I'm going to let go of Vax's hand for a minute
and go over to Keyleth.
I'm going to...
We did it. We did it.
Darling. One night. One night.
I could use that glass of wine.
Let's pretend everything's all right for one night.
One night.
To Whitestone.
There's five of them. Twins.
What are their names?
Vesper, Wulf, Leona, Vax'ildan.
We call him Freddy, though. It's confusing.
And Gwaine.
That all makes perfect sense.
Oh, Scanlan and I also had some kids,
and we named one of them.
Walking, talking on the last six seconds.
We had this many kids.
Vax'ildan-dim-dim.
We'll handle them.
We'll handle them.
And Jim. I'm sorry.
Through the tree, through the tree.
The still smoldering lightning split tree
upon the corpse of the massive worm.
Keyleth conjures with what space exists enough
to open a gateway
to the mid-evening
open starscape of Whitestone.
Clean of color-tensed magic chaos for the first time in many weeks.
I return the squeeze on Vax's hand.
And as you all step through,
new friends in the battle,
the tree closes.
As the red burning moon of Ruidas still looms in the sky,
where two other groups currently fight
for their goals as well.
And we'll get to that next time.
Oh shit.
Yeah.
So we'll get to jump into the division of the other troop
and then follow the Mighty Nein on their journey next time.
We're not going to come back to Vox Machina?
We can come back to them...
Another day. Another day.
Maybe, depending on where this campaign goes, we'll see.
Ouch.
Yikes. Depending on where this campaign goes, we'll see. Ouch. Oh my gosh.
Yikes. Amazing.
Love you guys.
Amazing.
Love you, Matt.
Well, thank you all so much for joining us.
We'll pick up on Ruidus next time.
We love you very much, and it's a Thursday out.
Good night.
Woo-hoo!
