Hello again, it's Brennan Lee Mulligan, and you're listening to Part 2 of this episode of Critical Role.
If you haven't checked out part one yet, pause this now and head over there first. What are you doing?
Otherwise, let's jump right back into this adventure and the world of Arama.
We return on camera.
So late. So late.
We return. Grandma.
You're trying to get me with Grandma, okay?
Everything else I thought was in there.
We're not.
We return to the Miller's Road where we see a beautiful tree.
A beautiful tree. Hawthorne, beautiful, tall, dark wood, white blossoms, red berries, and something that should not be here.
All of you guys smell smoke but cannot see it. This world contains multitudes. This tree is on the side of the Miller's Road and
and also in the DeHopshiny rainforest.
And you can smell essentially that it is burning
on the other side of the Miller's Road.
Here, the tree almost seems to be withering
or flickering.
And in that incident, you see at Thimble,
there is a, and the tree vanishes for a moment.
And then, and it vanishes from a-
We have to go now.
As though to the ringing of hammers falling.
They're trying to chop it down.
Not on tension, but it is all.
No fault, let's go. Go, go.
You guys rush out.
I need everybody here to roll initiative.
Okay.
Hey.
Too good, come on.
Okay, okay.
Oh, yeah, baby.
Yes, please.
Oh, no.
I don't think any of my shit works.
Oh, no, what are we gonna do?
We'll find out.
We'll find out.
We have a map.
We're punching people.
Here we go.
Whoa!
Whoa!
I hate it.
It's fun.
Oh, baby.
Okay.
Okay.
I will turn towards, I think it's better for me to turn tree towards you guys, right?
That's where you're going to be coming for you.
Okay.
So I'll go right here.
That looks so cool.
So cool.
Huge shout out.
K.O.
Hey!
Mushrooms.
Um, okay.
Everyone go ahead.
First things first, first.
And give me your initiative.
We'll start here with Matt.
That's going to be a total of 14.
14.
Not the best.
Tau.
Eight.
Go ahead.
Robbie.
23.
Ashley.
15.
Laura.
21.
And Alex.
19.
Okay.
So good.
And what was yours?
15.
Okay.
Can I get that word?
Cat thimble.
Cat thimble.
Octus.
Octus.
Hold on a second.
Phelis?
Yeah, Julian.
And Boler.
And Boler.
That actually works out there.
Yeah.
Ta-ta.
You can take a second to figure out who to hurt.
As we are going to begin here,
I'm also going to ask everybody to make a perception check
for me if you'd be so kind.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Hey.
25.
13.
Oh, seven.
And also, everyone, we got a,
let me just get your, hold on one second, guys.
Let me know what you guys got on your,
I got your initiatives here.
What did we get, did anyone get above a 20
or higher on perception?
Vailas did, okay.
And Boler.
And Boler.
Okay, what we're going to do is this, hold on one second.
I'm scared.
Also, I will say that you guys do have one round
as you are spinning around the tree to exit.
So if there's anything you would do
is like an action on that round where all you're doing is moving,
go ahead and figure that out now.
If there's any spells you would cast
or buffs you would put on or anything like that.
I'm gonna light up the embers.
I'm gonna go and use the Harris charm to cast jump on myself.
Hell yeah.
Oh.
Jump on myself.
Do you jump on myself?
Is this whole name of the spell?
I'm literally about to do it to you.
I'm conjuring my weapon and green flame blade.
Ooh.
We do not fuck around here.
You can jump together.
Jump on myself, jump on yourself.
Right.
The round I take is the process of pulling the long sword
from my back and starting bringing Sarah my back.
And it will end as soon as we step out.
I'm gonna take Julian's cue.
I'm gonna cast jump, but it's nasty.
I'm asking what cast on Wolfrick.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Um,
uh,
incredible.
Uh,
as our battle begins,
um, you guys all emerge from the tree.
I'm gonna start passing out your minis.
You will emerge basically right here,
but I'm actually going to turn so this is a little bit more.
So you guys actually have a better view.
Even though you're farther from your minis,
you have a better view of the battlefield.
Boller and Bayless.
Um,
you, I will describe what you,
You guys see that you'll have to communicate
to your teammates as you arrive here in this place.
Essentially, you arrive in the middle of hell and chaos.
As you exit from the tree,
every single one of the black rabbits except Clonnie passes out.
The air is filled.
You are, go ahead and give me actually a Constitution saving throw
the minute you emerge.
Oh, shit.
Rout row.
Oh, it's filled.
It's the air.
14. 14 passes.
You are not poisoned and it looks like,
hold on one second here.
All the black rabbits passed out?
Well, they don't even have a shot.
Kwani has a shot, but he didn't roll great.
I'm just gonna check his constitution.
No, Kloni's out as well.
As you exit from the tree, thick smoke filled with iron filings.
filling the air.
All of the, basically
every challenge rating one quarter or lower,
which applies to most of the Pixies and sprites
and so many of the things here, no save.
Down.
Just passed out.
Boler and Vales,
I will, on that,
neither of you got above 20, but not above 25.
I got above 25.
Actually, I got 25.
Great.
Belair, you see,
everything on Albed's face here, which,
speaking of which, I'm gonna get your guys minis out.
Yay!
Here's Katagan and Wolfrick are right here.
You guys basically emerge coming around that side of the tree.
Thimble, you are right here.
Boler, I'm actually going to probably give you
I'm gonna probably give you Albit's mini.
I was gonna say, because I was gonna probably just put up,
you know, just, just, you know, hide him in me, like, in my vibe.
But I'll have my mask up anyway, I imagine.
Okay, gotcha.
Yeah, I'll take.
I'll take Albed for now.
Here's tiny little Albed Morn popping out here.
Perfect.
And.
Actually, yeah, that's a great idea.
Leaping out in this moment, Boler, you see, on that high perception,
a mixture of these frightful.
whitening backwater mountain men, fairy poachers,
along with veteran, highly equipped
Hailavar soldiers are here in this place.
The Hawthorne Tree is on fire,
and you hear the ringing as various members of the Creed
are hammering cold iron spikes into the side of the tree.
You can see over by the lake, there are members of the Creed
taking those furkins, those casks of iron filings,
and just dumping it into the lake.
As it fills the lake, you can see that there is a shimmer
of almost something oily spreading out on top of the lake.
And the hag.
We are, I think, also going to,
right here the top of initiative,
just to keep things moving,
I am going to ask us to roll for how our fairies are doing.
No.
Oh, man.
Would anyone like to volunteer to roll for the table?
No!
This is so mean.
Okay.
If you would be, so we're gonna do this right now.
Nat 20 is great news for you.
If you get a 17 or higher, they are still up.
13 through 16 means they are down.
For this battle, not all battles,
do I give NPC's death saving throws?
For this one, I will give them death saving throws.
13 through 16 is down.
8 through 12 is they have a fail already.
3 through 7 is they have two death fails already.
One through two is they are already dead.
And you are right.
This is all of them? This is one roll for all fairies.
No, no. We're gonna go by each of them.
And so I'm gonna ask you to roll,
and then I'll tell you who you can see here in this space.
First roll. What's that?
One.
It's a Nat one?
Nobody's got to re-roll anything, friends, companions, allies.
Not for this. This is a straight.
This is just a fate roll out in the open.
This is a full-on.
I mean, I'm trying to give like good energy over here.
Most I'll know that we can help.
That's gonna help.
On a Nat one, our friend Rust Blossom has already been thrown onto the fire,
who is the little sort of rusty grass spirit.
Go ahead and give me another roll
if you'd be so kind.
That was brutal.
19, 19, 19.
19, how yes.
19, how yes.
That's good, that's good, good, good.
Okay, 19 means that.
So, me.
Tata, ta, ta.
Okay.
Belair, you can see this,
roaring over here being pushed into this other fire
is Shuffa, the big shambling mound.
Yeah.
Moor, just like roaring out as fairy poachers surround him.
So bloodied, but still up.
What is Shuffa?
Shuff is a giant bush.
He's a big, a big plant monster.
Okay.
Give me another roll, if you be so kind.
13?
Is down, but not, is no sense.
13 to 13.
Hawthorne against the base of the tree is down,
but is basically as you come through,
she with her back to her own,
has just fallen and is making death saves.
That is going to be,
give me another roll if you be so kind.
15. 15, okay.
Someone you cannot see. Keep going.
19.
19.
Okay.
To ta-ta-ta.
Someone who is still bloodied.
You see over here,
Skinner, the Red Cabin.
Going, go in.
Hey, Becky Gee!
Is still up and fighting.
Go ahead and roll again for me.
15.
Okay.
Our boys, Mac, Bix and Flit,
our sprites are over in the corner, down,
but not making, you're rolling really well.
Go ahead and give me another roll.
I just said that.
20, 20, yes.
20?
Hell, yes.
On a nat, 20.
Rolling good, rolling good.
Well and good.
Don't talk about it.
Okay, okay, okay.
Forget I said anything.
Thanks for us blossom, our sacrificial lambs.
Yeah, yeah.
Got that one out of the way.
And this is going to be our final roll.
This is for honeysuckle.
The Pixie.
No, come on.
Who was it?
Who was the 20 for?
Oh, sorry, no, no, no.
The Nat 20, you can't see who the Nat 20 is for.
You cannot see who the Nat 20 is for.
There's actually two more.
So roll this next one.
was not Honeysuckle, right?
That was somebody a...
That is Honeysuckles.
Oh my God.
No!
Honeysuckle has two, but is not dead.
It's two deaths is.
Deaths.
Two and one is the instant death.
Yes.
Last one for a final one that you cannot see.
Is that the hag?
Is that the hag?
You can't see?
I bet that's the hack!
14.
Okay. Incredible rolls.
Oh my God.
Great rolls, great roles.
Great roles, great.
Like, really well done.
Great rolls.
Combat begins with Cadigan Vale.
You emerge from here.
Belair, you see they're dumping something into the lake.
Hawthorne, you can hear her scream on the other side of the tree.
Maybe.
And here roaring, all these guys are shouting.
Albit is still up, but the black rabbits behind you
have all passed out on the ground.
You see this is the only way for them to get this done.
Like, you'd never be able to catch hundreds of sprites and pixies
if you weren't able to fill a place with this ambient smoke
that just takes them out.
You can see these, these,
poachers and members of the Candestine Creed
are treating this battle like a foregone conclusion.
Some of them have already stopped fighting
to begin to pick up the unconscious
sprites and pixies and shovel them
into lined bags.
Cadigan, that is you.
Put out the fire. If we see it first,
it's going to be... Put off the fire,
stop the ones by the lake, by the river.
Go on, come on.
Right, right. Shut them down.
And as for my bonus action,
I'll have Wolfrich use his
jump for that 10 feet and sort of get himself right by the Hawthorne tree in the midst of the guys.
Okay, hell yeah. So big 30 foot jump in the stag. And then for his, for his action,
that's my bonus action, I'm going to have him do Farrell Howl. Okay. So it's a wisdom saving
throw. DC equals spell save DC. Each enemy with the 30 foot emanating origin from Wolfrick.
Fails, they're deafened and frightened. Okay. And this is how many people is this?
Anybody, so he puts himself in the middle,
anybody with a 30 foot emanation.
Oh, 30 foot eminage.
It's a nasty.
Hell yeah.
Is it, it's a radius, so it's a circle around him?
It says, let me read it again.
It says emanating, let's see.
A wisdom's taking through a DC10 equals,
in a 30 foot emanation originating from Wolfman.
Yeah, that sounds like a full radius.
Okay, incredible.
We've got these guys around here.
Defender, deaf and or frightened.
This is like his one cloud control
once per long rest sort of thing.
Okay, we'll roll for them.
And it's, uh, oh.
Okay.
14 is the fail.
They need a 14 to succeed, right?
Save DC is, uh, no, sorry, I don't know.
I've only never done this twice.
You're good, you're good.
Spell attack is plus six, save DC 14.
14, yeah.
Okay, got it.
Okay.
Is anyone concentrating on anything, by the way?
I am currently casting a concentration spell.
Cool. I'm gonna hold onto this for you,
and then for our friends here who are frightened and deafened,
two of them fail and their leader also fails.
Wolfrix leaps up, howls, incredible.
And you said deafened and frightened, right?
Correct.
Is that last, it is it.
If you hit them, does that cancel it?
Or is it just like stay?
Any other action from Cattigan?
Yeah, where's Honeysuckle?
Hmm.
Honeysuckle is down over here next to Skinner.
Okay, I'll use all of Cattigan's movement
to get within range.
And HoneySuckle, I believe, if I'm not mistaken,
it was a while ago when we first entered the Fame roll
was the one that I saved.
And I'm gonna go,
Not again, love.
And I'll pass Spare the Dying again
to try to stabilize her as a can't trip.
Okay, that's within your movement.
She's right within range.
And then a 30 foot range for Spare the Dying.
Oh, you have a 30 foot range for Spare the Dying.
Sick.
I think level five should be correct.
Yep, yep, yep.
Hell yeah.
I thought it was a touch spell, but I could be wrong.
I'm going to check really quick.
It's like 2024 rules.
I want to check.
Sometimes it shifts.
Range doubles.
Let's see.
Choose a creature within range.
And the range is 15 feet, 30 on.
on level five. Hell yes.
Okay, so with that action, reaching out,
wind kicks up around you,
and she has her death saves removed.
She is stable.
Okay. Unbelievable. Okay, great.
That ends my turn.
We have a 30-foot range there.
You can still move 30 feet in any direction you want,
where you want to go.
Ooh, yeah.
Let me get near Wolfrick and back in the scrum
now that we've saved her.
Cool. Okay.
You want to get near Wolfram?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Cool.
Right here, okay?
Mm-hmm.
Okay, great.
Oh, that guy passed out.
That guy, he's passed out.
He's so scared.
You.
As Wolfrick jumps in, this may seem so dreadful
with all these enemies here.
As you jump into this first one right here,
I'd like you to roll 3D6 for me.
Three D's.
And I want you to just let me know
if you roll any sixes.
Okay, one, two, three.
Yes, one six, two six,
Five.
Geez.
Is this good or bad?
Roll one more D6 for me.
I hate this.
Six.
Are you for real?
Do you want to see?
No, it's, six.
Six is what it's like rolling a character now.
So who did I just kill?
You didn't kill anyone, but because we're coming
into the middle of a battle, the leader right here
and two of the others are already bloodied
as you enter combat.
That's huge.
Yes.
So in other words, whatever the pit,
this is how we're determining how badly they fare,
before you guys got here.
Very good.
That is the odds of you rolling three out of four of them.
I did it on the table, right?
Yeah, yeah, you did it.
Unbelievable.
Okay, great.
Fimble, unless there's anything else from you, Cat.
Incredible turn.
That's it.
That's gonna be Fimbled.
Incredible turn.
Can I see which one looks like he's in charge?
Yeah, give me perception.
Difficulty 15.
Oh, oh, 16.
There is a currently frightened and deafened
and bloodied captain of the poachers
with a weapon right to Hawthorne's throat.
I'm gonna come up behind him and try to fucking stab him.
What's your movement?
All of it.
All of it.
I mean, with a bonus action dash, you can clear there,
but I don't think you can get there without a bonus action dash.
Okay, then I'll bonus action dash to get there.
Okay. Bonus action dash gets you right here.
You not get flanking because
I don't believe you get flanking because Hawthorne is currently down.
Okay.
However, if they have some other way of establishing sneak attack,
maybe some swashbuckler stuff.
If, oh, wait, let me see.
I think yes, with swashbuckling, if I am,
wait for it, I can find this.
Class features.
I'm sorry.
No, you're good.
Diving back into the deep end.
No.
Rake it's all good.
Audacity, nope. I know there's one.
You can't, the, um.
It wasn't my first, no, it wouldn't just be sneak attack
on that first. No, but you came to the careful aim, I think, is it.
No, but yeah, but that's it.
I can't do my first attack to get the advantage
on the second attack if I bonus actioned, right?
Um, good, does that count?
Does the attack, the double attack doesn't count as a bonus action.
That's just part of my.
Oh, the weapon mastery?
Yeah.
Let's double check that.
There's a, um,
Because it says if I use the Nick,
when you make the extra attack of the light property.
It's part of the attack.
Yes, so you can make two attacks there.
That's correct.
Okay, great.
Yes.
And that I think lets you use Vex on the first one
and potentially get the advantage
for the sneak attack for a second.
Cool.
I shouldn't kind of know.
Let's roll that first attack with whatever your Vex weapon is,
which I think is the toy sword, but I could be wrong.
The Vex weapon, the...
Jesus Christ.
Or maybe that's your rapier.
I think my rapier is the Vex weapon, yes.
Cool.
That was terrible.
That was terrible.
13.
13 is not a hit.
But your second attack is not with advantage.
Okay.
Okay, that's better.
That's 21.
21 is a hit.
Go ahead and roll damage,
saw and sneak attack.
Okay.
So that's 11 points.
11 points of damage.
Yeah.
rushing forward, boom, you're,
Gha!
You can see that this woman has this heavy oiled hide over her
as they fight next to these raging fires
and stinks of some kind of iron and blood
and has these goggles.
The goggles she looks at you through, you realize,
have veins through Gossamer.
You don't need advantage on the attack to use
your sneak attack against a creature if you are in five feet of it and no other creatures
are within five feet of you. That's correct. You don't have a disadvantage, so I can add my
sneak attack. You can add your sneak attack there. That's part of my rakish audacity.
That's the ability I was trying to think of. I was like, I think, I know there's anything.
Go ahead and roll your sneak attack. Okay, that's, I, what do I have at level five? Is that
3D6? 3d6, let's do it. Okay, um, that's 10 extra points. Great. That don't hurt.
Boom! This person is already bloodied from combat.
You thud this damage to them, and she wheels around.
Oh, look at you to mock it.
And you see that she, her goggles are made of gossamer wings.
That she peers through as some kind of magic
allows her to peer through the unseen.
That thimble, bonus action, action, I believe that is your turn, correct?
Yeah, I can't back away.
back away.
Octus Taconus, that is going to be you.
This is my full Christian name.
Full Tansalite name.
What have you done?
What have you done?
As Octus steps around the tree,
he's finished still casting a spell
as he's been walking in the circles,
and he's ending it just as,
it draws the sword out, and it says,
Kyocera, my protector of mine,
return to me from the Tenebore reaches
and help me slay these foe.
me slay these foes.
And as he does, he pulls the sword across his forearm,
cutting himself in the ritual,
and handing the sword off to the side
in which Ceramai flashes out through this
transportation from the table reaches out into the material plane
and takes the sword from my hand, standing next to me.
And at the same time, that blood that I cut myself
with using my bonus action floats into the air
and starts orbiting my head when I cast vital sacrifice
at the same time.
Hell.
That is my turn.
I will then have Dame Sarah, am I exactly here?
I have you back here.
You're now concentrated.
We're fine.
The chair is rebelling.
Who is close to me here?
You have these, there's these ones that are attacking the tree.
Okay.
You also have these ones over here surrounding honey suckles.
And there's the ones over here,
I don't know what the range is on this summit.
I did hear Boler say something about stop them at the lake.
How far away is the lake from me?
From you, those that are at the lake side,
from you right now, and you haven't moved yet.
No.
Are 70 feet away.
Okay, so myself and Dame Ceramai is going to go
and start attacking the ones at the tree there,
to just distract them.
And then I will start heading towards the lake.
Okay, she's going to appear sort of here.
Yes.
And anyone in that,
area is going to have to make a save
because of the poison by asthma that surrounds her.
Cool. They have to make a DC Constitution Saving throw.
It is my DC, which is 15.
Hell yes.
Is it friendly zone?
No, it's everyone.
DC 15.
In a five foot, just around.
Oh, five foot. Just five foot.
Just don't get closer.
Yeah.
DC 15, con save, correct?
Dcission con save.
That is a failure.
So they are, they have the poison condition
until the next turn.
Deaf and frightened.
Def and frightened and poison.
These guys are having a hard fucking time.
These guys are dickheads though.
These guys suck.
And then does Sarah might take any action?
Sarah, my will take an attack action against the closest one.
So that is going to be, where's my guy?
That is 19 plus seven.
And then, which I assume hits.
That does hit, yes.
And then 1D8, where's my D8?
D8.
Okay, that is gonna be eight points of slashing damage,
and if they are, if the poison conditioned,
they are paralyzed until the next round.
Don't do it.
Rushing up Cadigan, you're there,
Wolfrick is there.
Also, does she roll with advantage, by the way?
Because she has flanking from-
Oh, she does technically, but I rolled a 19, so like.
Unless she crates.
No.
Duwait.
You see, Wolfrick's snarling,
Dame Saramai looks at you and says,
peep, and you see she walks up behind
and pulls the Creed member down.
onto her sword as he was paralyzed as she, you know,
impales him on the blade.
That is going to be, I believe that is any movement from you.
I just moved as far as I can towards the link.
10, 15, 20, okay, cool.
And that is the end of my turn.
Great.
Ooh. Yep.
Okay. You are out in the middle of this battle as a wizard,
just letting you know.
I am the one.
Everyone's distracted.
Stop going on.
The fire, the cold iron fire.
begin to fill the lake here.
And I believe Boler, on that 25 perception,
you hear a, as you are all sort of like,
you know, fighting in this place, you hear this,
as the lake trembles and something underneath the water
thuds into the cold iron filings covering the lake.
Oh, fuck.
You gotta open it up.
Open it back up for her.
Who can clear a lake of...
Okay.
That is going to be...
Da-da-da.
We are going to roll a death-saving throw
for someone that you cannot see on this battle map.
16 is a success.
Good, good, good, good, good.
We're going to roll another one for our
Sprite boys over here.
There's a two.
No!
Did they have one does saving throw already?
They were just down.
They did not have one already.
So we are going to move.
Veilis, that is your turn.
You got this, you got this.
Okay, okay, okay.
Yeah, I can, I got this, so I can't do anything anymore.
Okay, okay.
Remember, if you go up next to Dame Saramai,
you have to make a save for poison.
Okay, yeah.
A safe for poison?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, interesting.
The myasma does not, is not, it doesn't not choose.
Okay. I am going to,
my damage is not gonna do very much in the moment.
Okay, I'm gonna ask you something.
Ask me.
If I were to try to take a turn to pick up
any of the fairies or rabbits or anything around me
that's laying down and I can just try to just
scoop them all up, scoop them all up, put them in.
I'm gonna put them in my...
In terms of like the black rabbits who have gone unconscious,
Klawney and all of them.
Anybody that I'm just like I'm trying to protect
so nothing more happens to them.
To them. Yes, I will allow you go ahead
and give me a DC20 acrobatics.
If you can make that, then I will let you do this
as a bonus action. If not, it will be an action
to collect everybody up.
DC 20. Yeah.
What's your acrobatic?
That's not great.
Okay, so you're a roll in 18.
That's all you need.
Right.
Leave me.
Do it right now.
Easy.
Nope, nope, nope.
So two.
You can still do it as an action.
It'll be your turn to fully protect them.
It was a plus two.
You didn't need to roll two.
But it was dead.
Sorry.
Wait, okay.
So you can still protect all of the friends
of these black rabbits.
It'll just take your action to do so.
Yeah, cool.
I'm gonna use my action to do so.
You scoop these, I think you scooped these rabbits up
and just, shoom, under a hedgerow farther away.
There's fire on either side of you.
I think on, if you use your action,
I will let you scoop them back
onto the edge of the Miller's Road.
You're like, don't come out, boys.
Yeah.
Yeah, I wanna just use my whole action
and just try to get as many of them to safety as I can.
Any bonus action or movement from you?
Give it a try.
Pain is following you, correct?
Yes, great.
Okay, so I tried to push as many of them out.
I'm gonna try something, see if it'll work.
I would like to try to get to the lake.
Okay.
But I-
Using your movement, five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30,
That's 30 feet of movement.
Can I use Misty Step as a bonus action?
Yes. Or at least try.
Oh, yeah. No worries. You haven't cast a spell.
Misty Stepp will absolutely work, and it's 30 feet.
But I can still do it?
Oh, with your powers.
I shouldn't have said.
Is this?
I know, was Misty Step given to you by...
Yeah, where does your Misty Step come from?
Is it one of your paladin abilities or is it?
Is it the face?
You know, it has nothing to do with Slambri.
Is that something that like you learned from, like, your family?
Yeah, it's like, from your ancestry.
I mean, like, yeah, on a technical level.
On a technical level, does it come from the case?
I mean, it's part of my Oath of Vengeance spells.
Oh, so I feel like, yeah.
I don't think I'd be able to be.
This is your, as you reach for this magic,
your confirmation.
I know it.
Your confirmation that your goddess did not,
what goddess would not give this gift to you
to save these fair folk in this glade
and yet the magic does not come to you.
Fuck her, dude.
Okay.
Yeah.
That's what she says.
I know.
So I just, I have them, I like,
I've just like pulled up my skirt
and I'm just, all of them are like in there.
Oh no, they're protected.
I mean, they're in the Miller's Road.
That's right.
Great.
Because I'm walking towards a lake.
I'm walking towards a lake.
30. Great.
You move forward.
Da-da-da.
Yes.
Valis, that is going to be your turn.
Sir Julian DeVinos, that is you.
Wait, sorry.
Can I yell out on my walk?
Yeah.
Knowing that there were a bunch of hides that had
had anti-fire stuff all over it.
Yeah.
To just yell out to rip off their heights.
Yeah, great.
Okay. Hell yeah.
Okay.
You yell that out. Julian Devinos, that is you.
Julian draws out his father's blade,
Spressatora.
Spressatora.
Sprezzatura.
Beautiful long, like mastercrafted silver-looking rapier blade
with looks like
like brass vine inlay around the handle
that seems to curl at the back of the blade
before it goes into like a backward curl.
Cool.
Kind of flicks in his hand in it and he goes,
pretty well-balanced.
And then go ahead and dive into a quick run
into a leap over both Octus and Vailis.
See, how far is he from the ones of the lake?
I don't know if he can make that distance.
Distance from the lake is...
I think from you it is 70.
Yeah. 70 to do the one in the middle,
and like 65 to the one.
Right. You can do 30, 40.
Can we do 50?
So he's gonna.
Can I assist and like take a knee and put
to one like that?
You want a tabletop?
I think what's gonna do is the ones that are closest to him
because he wants to draw some blood from the vessels.
Yeah. Poison, remember.
From ceremony.
But he's going to do that.
Oh.
The ones that are gathered over here on this cluster,
I think he's gonna go ahead and leap in the air.
Take that 30-foot leap, and then immediately,
as he lands, go into a full sprint like Gautland
and blade out of the side, like,
towards them and dart towards the one
that's immediately to the left.
Right there.
This guy right here.
Boom. Bam.
Standing right here, go ahead.
Give me your attacks.
Let me go ahead and spend one of his second wins
to attempt a daring strike against this target.
Hell yeah.
And actually, as we jump into this next group, Matt,
could you roll some D6?
sixes for me. Sure.
Oh, yeah. Here we go.
We're looking for sixes. Go ahead and roll three of them at first.
No sixes. No sixes. And then roll one last one for me.
Nope. No six. Great.
I'm used to. You dive forward. Go ahead. You do your daring strike.
Correct. So if I hit, we'll see here. That's going to be 17 to hit.
17 is a hit.
Fantastic. So with that I get to add a D10
to the damage from the strike against the target.
So that's going to be,
23 points of piercing damage on the first strike.
Ayah.
23 points of damage, hell yes.
This opponent is bloodied.
As you reach out, sorry, not quite.
So land that first blow, 23 points of damage.
That is your first attack.
So as the blade cuts through, I'm going to go ahead and throw the cloak up over the shoulder
and spin around to faint with the second strike and instead come back with the gauntlet and just like palm them in the face and try and crush into their like ocular socket surroundings.
Using a bonus action to attack with the demigotlet because of the vex strike and have advantage on this hit.
Mm-hmm.
Just going to be four.
Okay, so it'll be 22 to hit.
That is a hit.
I know I could add a sneak attack on that
because I had advantage.
That brings it seven.
It's five.
Twelve points of damage against,
of bludgeoning damage against them again.
Boom!
Now fully moved into bloody.
These, you can see,
you're attacking what appears to be one
of the soldiers here.
Hardy, Hardy.
Everyone here is very serious.
Boom!
As the strike,
strike lands true.
So I think with that as soon as I see them kind of fall back
a bit from the unexpected impact, they glance up
and I kind of look at the eye and say,
not a friend to the Fayefolk, I assume.
You're fairy.
I cannot wait for you to mulch these baseline plan folk.
That's my turn.
Cool. Hell yes.
This is going to be our poachers.
Oh, I haven't gone.
Oh, yeah, I have to wait.
I'm still it.
I assume I'm, wait.
Pete.
Okay, yeah.
That was our order, but we know what they were going.
Okay, that's fair.
I thought I'd hop.
You haven't done you.
Yeah, boo.
I think I can, might be found out.
Okay.
This guy's going to take a swing with this advantage.
What is Wolf-Rick's armor class?
Frightened?
Does they still get to attack when frightened?
With disadvantage, yes.
Oh, okay, I got you.
Wolf-Rick's armor is quits in a different thing.
It is 13.
Plus my Wisdom Mod, which was now higher.
Thank you, Brandon.
13 plus 3, 16.
Homeboy is terrified.
He has a cold iron rod.
It's not even a club.
It's just like a bar.
Ferry wolf is swinging it out.
And one of these guys scoops up our three sprites into his sack.
No.
The other one is going to take a shot.
It's going to take two shots at Fimble.
What is your armor? Does a 16 hit?
No.
Okay, both bolts miss.
Foon.
These guys here are going to,
I think these guys are gonna continue fighting our friend Shuffa.
And we're going to expedite this a little bit.
I'm gonna roll their attacks.
and I believe Shepha is already bloodied, correct?
So any 18s, 19s, or 20s here,
and Shuffa goes down.
There's an 18.
Fuck.
Oh, boom.
Shaffa hits the deck.
Oh my God.
This this, you see this glowing with filamental tattoos,
the same that Wick has on his face.
This member of the Creed, but you see the tattoos
of sputter and glow, like they might be not fully,
you know, he didn't get the good ones, essentially.
Goes like, goes,
Kikraming a fire!
No, he'll burn.
Bush.
And.
Don't make that funny.
Over here.
I can't see a chaffa.
And I believe Skinner is also bloodied.
However, we're gonna have this guy come over.
We're gonna get two of them on Julian,
and only one is gonna be on Skinner.
Same thing, 18, 19, and 20, and he goes down.
Six, Skinner does not go down.
You see, as you join the fray Skinner,
this tiny, his head is so big.
His head is slightly bigger than a person's head
on a foot tall body.
Just like, ah, I'll kill ya!
And he appears to be threatening to kill you.
But maybe that's how he says hello.
We're gonna get some swings on Julian.
That's going to be two misses.
Does a 22 hit Julian?
22 does hit, yes.
Okay.
With that, you are going to take.
Is this from Skinner?
No, no, this is from the posters.
Eight points of damage is a club thuds into your side.
from one of the poachers.
And that is going to be,
I believe that's all my poachers right now.
The lead poacher turns around.
She is going to make her attacks on Fimble.
She is going to
13 is a miss, 6 is a 1.
Six is a miss, third attack.
Does a 17 hit thimble?
17 hits.
Oh, I don't like it.
I can hear those dice.
They make you jangle.
There's so much jangle.
She's going to deal 20 points of damage.
Oh, my God.
Going to uncanny dodge.
Okay, you have that to 10.
Very good, very good.
Is that a cold iron hand axe, thuds
into you, you have the poisoned condition.
As it thuds into you, these people are made to hunt fairies.
She is also going to use a reaction called Mark Target.
And she says, go to big girl.
And these two are going to use a reaction
to use half their movement to flank to either side of you.
Oh my gosh.
Wait, are you big or are you?
Was that all coming from the captain?
That was coming from the captain.
Okay.
Then she is going to, as a bonus action,
disengage, and we are going to make a save
for the tree itself.
Oh, my God.
Got to put the tree out.
Come on.
Someone fell.
We'll get to that.
Humble fell down.
Oh, no.
No, no.
Say that.
That I'm an a mess.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
We are going to roll a death save with disadvantage.
Which is a four, which is a failure.
The tree moves one step closer to death.
How many death saves does the tree have? Just three?
You give me an intercheck.
Okay, that's a 23.
23. This tree has two out of three death save fails already marked.
Oh my God.
How would, Woody did it?
Is it just, is it on fire?
It's actively on fire right now?
It is actively on fire.
Okay.
Is it, I would like to phone my friend Tisha.
Yeah.
But is it about the, is it about the fire
or about the homies working on it with the rods?
I don't know, dude.
Probably a bit above.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Not the homies.
Not the homies.
Not the homies.
I will say,
it has been excellent to travel with Boler
on Albed, Albit is not going to be able to act in combat
because Boler is in combat, right?
Yeah.
So, Boler, that is going to be your turn.
Oh boy.
I'm going to start walking towards,
oh, where is Thimble?
Hibble's over there.
I'm gonna start walking out into the fray.
I'm gonna go as far as I can into the fray.
5, 10, 15, 20, 25.
Okay, cool.
That's right.
I'm on a slow, motherfucker.
You're on a little gnome.
Oh, fucking guy.
I'm gonna try something crazy.
Okay.
I'm going to cast.
Maybe it'll work, maybe not.
I'm gonna cast Hunder of Hidar, Hedar.
Hedar.
And I'm gonna cast it.
Are the metal filings staying mostly on the top of the water,
or have they broken the surface tension?
They are mostly being held aloft by the surface tension.
You believe by design.
They are covering the surface of the leg.
So I'm gonna cast, I'm going to take out out of,
as I walk and I've conjure my glass rapier,
which then fills the interior of the glass blade
with a green flame that flickers back and forth inside,
like a little bit of gas on fire.
I'm going to move forward and a little glass key
is going to appear in my hand.
And I'm gonna take it and I'm gonna twist as it shattered.
and a giant black cavernous hole
appears covering these three and the water,
and I'm gonna see if I can make a,
not only hurt them, but I also wanna see if I can make
a whirlpool and start sucking the water through
like a drain into the lobby of the theater.
Hell yeah.
That's a little bit of a hundred horse.
That's a 20-foot sphere.
Bitter, cold, pier center,
point there range lines with the vision, the bushful.
lines from the vision, the food is fully.
So it's technically into another dimension.
It'll illuminate the area,
and creatures fully within the area are blinded.
The creatures are working in the area's difficult terrain.
The area takes two to six cold damage.
Incredible.
You open this void.
It creates 20 feet of void to just start creating
essentially a whirlpool.
Where do you want to center it?
I want to center it right because they've been pointed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
And it also, in theory, since some of it is on the top of them,
I should be able to get all three of them also in the radius.
Hell, yeah.
You can hear, for 30 feet, I believe you can hear the screams of hundreds of,
I don't know how many people who have clearly been trapped for,
God knows how long, in some liminal space.
Screaming and screaming and screaming.
Yeah, all of these, all of these candescent creed members look as a burgeoning hole of
of inky darkness opens up and they hear the applause and screams and go, oh no.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
So bad.
Incredible.
You summoned that.
I would like you to give me an Arcona check.
Difficulty of this Arcona check is 20.
Interesting.
Yeah, I'd make that.
That's 24.
Yeah.
You watch as this appears,
you feel as this thing appears in space,
you can hear the water vanishing into the darkness.
While this is there, the seal is not broken.
But on a 24 arcana, you believe that when this Hadar goes away,
whatever was there will be, like have sucked up essentially, right?
So yeah, I have to wait until everything seems clear
and then I have to drop it.
I think on a 24, you feel that like by the beginning
of your, beginning of your next turn,
you will have created a hole in the water
that if you were to dispel this, it would create,
it would create a break in the surface of the lake.
Hell, yes, Talasin, that's so fucking sick.
But that shit.
Very cool, very cool.
Love the lobby.
Cool, cool, cool.
Mm.
T da-da, da, da.
Okay.
Little Bolera's like, what's happening?
Yeah.
I'm Boliar.
They're like, everyone suddenly got really loud out there.
Um, okay.
I don't know what's in the lobby.
I don't know what's in the screens.
Skinner swinging away at those poachers.
Next to him moves one of them moves one of them.
to bloodied condition.
Nice.
We're gonna do death saves for our sprites.
Come on.
14 is a success.
Yay.
Um, uh,
death save for Shuffa.
Seven is a failure.
Oh no, that was his last one.
No, no, no, we'd only made one.
That's his first one.
He only made one.
He only made.
Okay, okay.
That is going to be.
T'a-da-ta-ta-ta-ta
are fanatics.
Oh.
Oh, God, that wasn't all of them.
Don't worry about that.
That one told me you didn't want to play.
No, it's.
Fanatics go after Bullaire.
Mm-hmm.
These two, these ones here.
Are so scared they've run away.
Oh, these two actually, go ahead and deal with me
2D6.
cold damage if you'd be so kind to those three by the lip.
Actually, hold on, just double checking.
I think it's more than 2B6.
Just double checking.
Increased by 1D6.
No, it's just 2D6, okay.
I was hoping.
Long walk.
That's seven points of cold damage?
Seven points of gold damage to all of them?
Hell yes.
Seven each.
Awesome.
And they are blind?
And they're blinded.
Mm-hmm.
On top of whatever else.
They cannot see.
That is really huge that you just did.
I love that.
Okay.
These two are blinded.
That's amazing.
That's one.
That's two.
The other one is gonna turn around
and hit you, Bollaire,
or attempt to hit you with a guiding bolt.
Does a 17 hit?
17 does hit.
Can I, I can.
Is it advantage?
zones in the blind area too?
Yeah.
Or is it one of the people in the blind area?
Are all three of them blinded?
They are all three blinded.
Okay.
In that case, this is disadvantaged.
And all three are blinded.
It shoots off into the distance, guiding bolt misses
from the disadvantage.
Same thing, 18, 19, or 20 for this one, attacking Skinner.
Eight, almost a 20.
This is going to be these two by the two, by the,
the tree are going to attempt to finish off the tree
in this moment.
We are looking for a 13 or higher on the dice
from the two of them.
And they'll kill the tree completely.
Kill the tree completely.
Kill the tree completely.
Oh my.
A 13 or higher?
13 or higher.
This one has been so fucked up and poisoned
and frightened.
He's wrong with disadvantage.
Eight.
17 and 8 does not succeed,
takes a miss with the mallet.
This one over here just needs a 12 or lower on the dime.
12 or higher?
12 or higher?
No, 12 or lower for you guys,
because you wanted to miss.
Tell me more.
11.
Unbelievable.
Okay.
We have some more fanatics around here.
This one is going to turn hearing the commotion
and is going to attack
is going to attack Thimble.
Fuck you.
A-22 hits.
Mother fucking fuck.
And you've used your reaction already?
Yeah.
That is three, seven, 12 points of radiant damage to Thimble.
Okay, following their turn.
Let's see if we can get that fire on the trio.
I don't, yeah.
No, no, that would be a bad idea.
I'm not.
That idea.
This will be our death safe for Hawthorne.
The actual dryad.
Wait, this is not her last death save?
No, no, no, just a death save.
Okay.
Good.
Three.
That first failed safe for Hawthorne then?
First failed safe.
Yeah, it just went down as part of the initial role.
Yep.
Is there a wizard on their team
to set there any look at the same?
It has some caster.
It's got a caster.
I could tell a caster.
The thing.
It's got a caster's to fix it.
He's got the disc.
That's terrible.
Could you did that?
Could you disk the lake water?
Oh, disk thought.
It doesn't really work for it.
Everyone's whispering.
Sorry.
That's not allowed to be.
We don't want you to hear what we're doing.
We go back to the top of the round with Cattigan Vale.
Cadigan.
Cadigan Vale.
Yeah.
You got this.
You got this.
Sure, bonus action.
Command Wolfric to do-Dook-Doo-Doo-Doo-Q
Be-line straight for the captain.
Pea on the tree.
P on the tree.
He did that.
Before we ran. Taking attacks of opportunity from the two engaged in melee.
Because, well, also before we start that fair play, the Farrell Howl,
frightened and deafened ends at the top of my turn.
Okay. So you can pull those on Zoska.
We just have the poisoned there. Gotcha.
Which they have disadvantage on stuff.
Did they run away from him in the last turn though?
Do you take two text or opportunity, but they have disadvantage?
I will, oh fuck. No, fuck. They don't care. Let's go for it.
Yeah, yeah, let's disengage. Cool.
And he'll break for the captain.
Cool.
So he's taking a disengage action and break for the captain.
Well, no, no.
No, he's taking the attacks for opportunity.
And you're just a B-lining for the captain right here.
Yeah.
Hell yeah.
Get him B-boy.
I guess technically you would take the attacks first.
Yeah, take the attacks first.
That's a 13.
There's two 13s.
That does not hit.
Clanging off his armor, just bang.
And then as he, you think he's like straight attacking for him?
him, and as he gets right to his heels, which is only like, oh, what, like 10, 15 feet,
he's actually going to use the rest of his movement because he still has jump,
because I haven't been hitting a cut. And he's going to go straight up, like, and dog missile
down 30 feet.
Hell yeah.
Yeah, and because he has that, this will be an attempted, the B strike.
I'm going to try to hit him prone if I hit.
Would this be flanking if you hit him from the captain from behind because I'm on the other side?
I don't know.
Yes, this is flanking.
Okay.
Rolling with advantage.
Great.
Oh, that's great.
even better, plus five, that is 22 to hit.
Does it work, right?
It is a hit.
Okay, so he's gonna hit.
He gets a D8 plus five.
It's a four, so that's nine points of damage,
but because he was straight down,
it's 20 feet straight down, and if they're large
or smaller, it would knock them prone.
Okay, hell, yes, the captain is knocked from,
how much damage is that again?
It's just nine, but they're prone with Wolfrick like on top of them.
Wolfrick takes the captain of the poachers to the ground.
Great.
Hell yes.
Cadigan.
Then I'll take the attack action,
I guess the guy has just gotten un-frightened and undefined
who's right in front.
Yeah, hop up here.
Yeah, point.
And then I'll go ahead and attack with my club.
Oh, that's, I'm so proud of my boy.
I was so proud of my boy
that I fucking got distracted and rolled a natural one.
Oh, wow.
That's your first attack.
Correct.
Stay in the game, baby.
Nope, super proud.
Not with advantage?
No, no, because you're not.
You're not flicing, never mind.
Yeah, it's a double, double miss.
Just like a total goon.
You do, I don't know if you're attacking,
are you attacking, because you have flanking
with Dame Guy on this.
Yes.
If I have flake, if I have.
So each attack was a miss,
so you're gonna basically re-roll both attacks,
right, with just one die.
That will equate to be an advantage.
Oh, well.
Mm-hmm.
M-hmm.
Uh, 19.
19 is a hit, absolutely.
Good. So D8 plus four, five plus four.
Nine slashing damage on that dude.
Still up, roll your second attack.
Got it, man.
Man, man, that's tough.
Yeah, miss, 10 probably.
I was seven.
Yeah, yeah.
Nine damage.
Boom, thudding into, da-da-da.
Wait, you said still up?
Still up, yeah.
Can I, can I, I, I've never done this for the first attack?
Yeah.
Can I use Savage Attacker?
Yeah, what is the Savage Attack?
Try and re-roller.
Yeah.
I just get to try to rerol my damage.
Hell yeah, go for it.
It's an eight.
Great.
Which would put me at four, which would be 12
for my first attack.
How do you want to do this?
Yes!
I learned the rules!
I learned the rules!
Yeah, it's not the club side of the club,
It's the slashing, so there's a little bit more finesse to it,
and he's off balance from just climbing up,
and he has had a few drinks at the tavern.
So it's just a big, old, nasty full body reach
to try to, like, nick his throat.
Yeah.
Incredible.
Full body nick on the throat,
and this member of the Creed falls back dead
as Dame Saramai sloths the body off her sword.
Hell yes.
Cadigan, that is your turn.
Thimble that is going to go to you.
With these guys on either side of you moving in around you.
Go ahead and roll 2d6 for me if you'd be so kind.
Two G6. Is there a reason? What am I doing?
A three and a four?
These are not bloodied.
Oh.
So we haven't rolled for these groups yet, right?
Actually, wait, Tau, you already damaged these guys.
Go ahead and roll 3D6 for me if you'd be so kind.
Yeah, there we go.
Two, three, and three.
Okay.
Cool. Not bloodied.
You did so good on those bloodied rolls.
Yes, very, very good.
At the end of your turn, Kattegan,
give me every, sorry.
At the end of your turn, Kattegan.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Roll something here.
He gives you, take it away.
Let me do the seven-chactor, but I'm going to get hurt for it.
Give me a perception check.
You'd be so kind.
Okay.
A, 16.
In the heat of combat, you do not hear anything.
We will continue moving on.
Oh, no.
What was you about?
Braid!
Bindor!
That's you.
Okay, I'm gonna try something, Brennan.
Go for it.
What do you want to try?
I am going to look up at the tree and look at Hothorn
and look over at...
Shah, shukha, shuffa?
Shuffa.
And I'm gonna drop down to the ground and put my hands
my hands and close my eyes,
and I'm gonna cast plant growth.
Okay. Cool.
To enrich the plants and hopefully heal the tree,
and heal Shepha, and anything else that is in that vein.
Yeah.
It is.
It's instantaneous.
If you got this spell using one action,
she's all no offense and hybrid
around that point, become thick and overgrown.
Creature moving through the area,
must spend four feet of movement for every one foot it moves.
You can exclude one or more areas
of any size within the spells here from being affected.
There's also, though, enrichment.
All, if you have to spend over eight hours.
Oh, fuck me.
Become enrichment when you're the plants,
you'll, so this doesn't let you heal,
but it's very cool.
I'd like you to roll a nature check for me.
I will say your heart's desire comes true
on a difficulty 20, and on a difficulty,
we'll call it 15,
we will make something happen.
Let's roll this nature check.
Come on.
And this, with nature,
Nature.
A 17.
On a 17, the plants come up, surround Shuffa, surround Hawthorne,
and ensconce them in thorns and briars.
It does not heal them, but it covers them with total cover
such that they cannot be coup de-degraud by the people around them.
Sounds fair? Yeah, yeah.
Hell yes.
Very clear, covert. Love to fight.
That is your action, bonus action.
Can I bonus action disengage?
I will do that.
I will do that.
Mm-hmm.
Would you have to because he's prone?
There's two on other side.
There's another one behind.
Yeah, I got, I'm surrounded by three,
and I'm not very high in health right now,
so I'm gonna just fly up.
Hell yeah.
30 feet in the air, yeah, you're golden.
Up here? Awesome.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
It's good.
Thimble, you go airborne, disengage.
Disengage, that is critical because Hawthorne would have been, for sure,
Coud de Gras on this next turn.
Um, well, not Hawthorne, Shuffa would have been absolutely just ended.
Yeah, it's lost.
And they were gonna kick him into the fire.
Um, incredible Octus, that is your turn.
Okay.
Seeing, walking, having walked towards the people on the beach,
seeing them covered in darkness, having Vailas run past him,
he's gonna change tactics here.
Seeing that that's taking care of is going to start coming towards
me here, moving 30 feet in this direction,
along with PIN following me.
Have any of the invaders here been,
have any of them died?
The invading force.
Where are they?
This one back over here.
The one that just died, but none of them were dead already.
Like in the previous fight.
No, you don't see that any of them,
some of them are bloodied, but this crew came prepared.
Great, then I'm going to say.
that I'm gonna have moved kind of here
just a little bit off to the side.
Tell you.
Like that.
And then, yeah, what I think I'm gonna do instead.
So Sarah, I see you fly up into the air.
There's the two right there.
I am going to look at the Halevar,
I assume, sorcerer with the filament on its face.
And just say, I'm terribly sorry,
but the Taconas didn't authorize any new entrances
to the Teneboreaches.
and I'm gonna fire a spell at the sun.
Also, if you'd be so kind for this first one here,
could you roll 4D6 for me?
Yes, I will.
1-6, 15, and a 3 and a 2.
Okay. You see this candescent fanatic
in front of you is bloodied.
Great, so I'm casting a second level ray of sickness.
Hell yeah.
Let me roll that.
Ooh, wonderful. That is a 26 to hit.
26 hits.
So that's going to be 3D8 poison damage.
Awesome. Holy shit.
I love that response.
That's 20 points of poison damage.
Alex, how do you want to do this?
Yes!
He says his,
quippy Spider-Man retort.
And then just you see his eyes sort of flash,
and then this sigil appears in front of his face,
and he spits and it goes through the sigil
and then becomes this beam of green
that just pierces straight through the eye socket
of the Halevar Sauror and just,
Buf, p.
To the ground, dead.
Unbelievable.
I will then use my bonus action
to do something.
Bonus action, I don't believe I have anything to do.
So what I will then do is in my turn,
and I will,
Do Dame Sarah Meistern.
Hell yeah.
Is there, and there are still enemies over there,
correct? Yes, there are.
Okay, so we'll move to the next closest enemy.
She can go up and join Cadigan,
or one next to Julian, their equidistant.
Is there a way to maneuver up next to Julian
where I am not poisoning Julian?
Yes, you can get flanking over here.
Do that. Cool.
And then that one has to roll a DC-15 for poison.
Poisonedent. Great. Yes.
Love that.
So then we'll make its attack.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
For your little dice?
That's going to be a 15 to hit.
Oh, 15 is a hit.
Okay, great.
15, and then it's 1 to 8.
Okay, that's seven points of slashing damage,
and they are paralyzed.
Oh, Jesus, okay.
Because they are poisoned.
Unbelievable.
To do that.
Yeah, he says, yeah.
With that paralyzed condition,
Where are you paralyzed?
Julian, the one that you is less injured,
but in between you and Saramai is paralyzed.
I just say the Dame Saramai just takes the sword
and just plunges it through the thigh into the ground
to like hold them there, kind of activating the parallel
and just holding it to the ground.
You can hear in your mind as she
watches the blood pour out of that thigh.
She goes, and,
Half of me is just going,
she didn't, you got the deluxe version of Undeath.
Everybody else has to settle for getting animated
every once in a while with a spell slide.
Yeah.
Okay, give me a perception check.
With disadvantage?
No, just a normal perception check.
And Boler, once again, under the lake,
you hear that.
Boom.
Come on.
That is an 18.
18.
Still, pitch battle, everything crazy going on around here.
Some saves for people you guys cannot see.
Okay.
And then that's going to be, that is going to be,
do to do.
Our sprites in the bag over here,
I'm going to make a new death save.
Two.
Two.
That's bad.
That's their second fail.
Yeah, it's their second fail.
I have no healing.
I know.
None of us do.
Do we have a healing in our group?
No.
I was.
I have a mo.
I have a moiner.
I mean, they had, yeah, same.
I've got.
Care one's in.
I have a potion of healing.
I can heal at extreme detriment to myself.
I remember that.
Yes.
I can heal.
Um, Phelis, that is your turn.
I'll figure out.
Okay, okay, okay.
So, well, lake situation, sorry.
Lake situation with the hole that Boulare put there.
Yeah.
And the arms of Hidar are still like,
they're going all over the place.
Yes.
Can I, do I know that there's,
there's room for whatever's trying to get through?
Well, could possibly pierce whatever that is.
I assume that you and Baleer are,
you guys have been calling stuff out.
I think that you would know that Belair is
about to solve the lake.
Great. Okay, so I'm gonna leave that.
Same way I'd somebody leave me one.
I'm gonna start going.
Who are these, the bad guys up here
that are close to the tree?
Yeah, get rid of the people
that are driving the stakes into the tree.
You see right here, Vailis,
so you have this, there's one sort of poacher here,
but you hear the hammering coming from the other side of the tree.
Great. Oh, other side of the tree.
This guy, this right here.
Oh, got it.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
Five, ten.
Can I try to get up to him?
I don't know if you have enough.
I don't know if you have enough movement.
All right, so let's go, well, wait a minute.
Your whip has range.
My whip has range.
Yes, it does.
My sensor.
So can I get within 10 feet of him?
Within, your speed is 30.
So going full tilt, 5, 10, 15, 20.
No.
25.
If you give me a DC-15 acrobatics, we'll call it.
All right, all right, all right.
Come on, come on, come on.
Just do it. No.
No?
No. Acrobatics?
No, 13.
Would athletics do it?
Yes.
Yeah, athletics would do it, because that's plus seven.
Call it athletics.
Go ahead.
A benevolent.
A benevolent.
A benevolent, a benevolent dungeon master.
Ashley made a really cool move,
and her reward was to lose all her magic.
So I'm gonna say athletics.
For everyone at home,
Don't be a dick.
It's pretty close.
Okay.
Foo.
I'm gonna release my sensor and try to.
Embers are lit.
Embers are lit.
And I'm gonna try to...
Hell yeah.
What I want to try to do?
I want to try to like...
No.
Well, I get two hits.
So first I'm gonna try to just like...
And this one is already blooded
because this was Cat's crazy rolls from before.
from both.
So go ahead and give me your attack roll.
Okay.
Okay, come.
16.
16 to hit.
That hits.
That absolutely hits.
Yes!
That absolutely hits.
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Does that damage?
Okay, great.
14 points for the first.
For the first attack.
For the first attack.
And you're in your, you're adding your extra
D-Fire, thank you so much.
Yeah, D6 of fire.
Plus four.
Eighteen damage.
Great, great.
Great, great, okay.
Okay, still up on death's door, you have a second attack.
Okay, but with that, so with the first attack,
I would love to somehow wrap the sensor around his neck.
Okay.
Second attack, try to break his neck.
Try to break his neck.
Hell yes.
That's very cool.
Go ahead, give me this attack.
Okay, I'll do.
Should I count that?
Yeah, that was 18. That was 18.
18 is a hit.
Go ahead and roll damage again.
I'm like to count it.
It's not in the bowl.
Yes.
Okay.
18 counts again, okay.
You rolled it.
Okay.
Absolutely.
Okay, that's not very high.
Two plus five, seven.
Fiered embers.
Mm-hmm.
That happens every time?
Yeah.
Plus six.
So that was 13.
13.
Ashley, how do you want to do this?
Yeah, first thing, goes around his neck,
and second one, I'm just gonna yank back
so he gets pulled back away from the tree, snap his neck.
Hammering this cold iron spike into the tree.
Vales, you go up, all the fairy,
watching, this tree will still have to survive the fire somehow.
But he is poised to drive this stake into the heart of the tree.
And as you hoist him with the chain, his body goes flying,
as his neck snaps, this member of the creed dead,
and you hear all the fairs around, you go,
and this creed member goes flying and vanishes behind you,
thudding into the earth over here.
Ah, ha! Ah!
Unbelievable, give me a perception to every advantage.
Okay.
The body just thought.
The advantage, we're advantage.
I know, I'm just trying to see which one I want to roll.
Okay, we'll see this one.
Okay.
We're all so stressed out.
Everyone's so stressed.
I don't do non-stressful combat.
I love it.
No, this is so fun.
So fun.
Dirty 20.
Dirty 20.
As you pull him away,
you hear a crystalline crack through the earth.
If you remember symbol,
there is a cave under
underneath the tree with a glowing moon crystal in it.
And Vailas, you hear something like a crystalline shatter
from underneath the ground.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
Thing that makes it, it's just like the seed, it's what the seed was
and when we planted it, it's a special thing.
That was also the other cave.
Yes.
Vailis.
I believe there's no more, unless you have a bonus action I don't know about,
but I don't think you do.
That is going to be truly truly,
That's good. That's me. That's it.
Hell yes.
All right.
Well, the one who just engaged and I see kind of sees up
from the arrival of a shadow figure,
I kind of glance over his shoulder and say,
Sir Amai, it's been a minute and just taking a stack.
Not even looking just straight towards the throat
of this paralyzed fellow.
Hell, yes.
I'm going to make it a daring strike.
I'm going to spend another of my second wins.
Hell yeah.
Is this the one that, is this the one
that you had really fucked up,
or is this the one that Sarah my...
This is the one that Sarah my paralyzed.
Cool.
Which I mean, yeah, you should advantage out, right?
Yeah, I do, yeah.
Which that causes an automatic crit?
If I hit, which would be the 24, I think it does.
Paralyzed, attack rolls, have advantage.
Any role, attack roll that hits you is a critical hit.
Yeah, within five feet.
So I'm gonna roll that with the daring strike die.
Ooh, I'm gonna re-roll that with Savage attacker.
Much better.
That's double the dice or additional dice.
I don't know how you want to do
crits at your table.
I do double dice.
Double dice?
All right, so it's gonna be.
What the hell's going on over here?
Don't listen, we're planning.
Are we making a television show or what?
I'm tired of planning.
30 points of piercing damage.
Oh.
30 points of piercing damage.
Whoa.
It's a quid.
Unbelievable. Death story.
Great, I'm gonna go ahead and bonus action.
Then like, I pull the blade free
and kind of flick it off and go,
and kind of like lean forward, be like,
but how's how have you been, my dear?
as I like lean towards her again and just like,
I put the blade to the side and bring the gauntlet forward
and just kind of pull him to the ground
while crushing his throat as I can.
Just chatting as you're, that's hot.
Bonus action hit on that, that's going to be,
oh yeah, 23 to hit.
Critical hit.
Shit.
I love this.
And that will be seven.
We have to plan when you can't hear us, Brennan.
Yeah.
12 points.
That's what was happening over there.
I'm on your side, dude.
You, I'm on number one.
I have an ex who used to say that.
I learned my lesson.
12 points of bludgeoning damage.
Matt, how do you want to do this?
I just crushed his throat and like throw the body
into the water without even paying attention to him.
I'm like, we'll continue this later, my dear.
I'm gonna spin around behind the one I initially attacked, the captain,
but took it flanking with the red cap.
Hell yeah.
Yeah, you move into that space
and are now flanking with a Skinner.
Right, and that puts me in a range for Ceramai.
15 DC saving throw.
I can do that.
Constitution.
Literally exactly 15, 11 plus four.
Oh, great.
But there is this like,
for sort of poisonous vapors
that are just emanating from Ceramai
and it sounds caustic.
I don't know what I said.
It's, it is high, it's,
even with all the poison shit in the air,
it is eye watering.
It's like pure alcohol vapor,
just this like intense, poisonous mist coming off.
It's embalming.
And then I'm going to go ahead and action surge.
Oh, thank God.
Yes.
And then go into another strike on that captain there.
That's going to be.
With advantage from flanking with Skinner.
Indeed, which will be two 17s in a row.
That'll be 27 to hit.
Yes.
As a hit.
Great, I'm gonna a savage attacker
Savage attacker part two.
To return?
I'm trying to remember how that.
I think so.
I'm gonna double check out.
Is it once per turn?
Is it after Cat again?
No.
Or is it before turn?
Once per turn, yeah.
Cool.
That's gonna be.
Sorry, didn't you be on his land?
No, you're good, you're good.
There you go.
It's gonna be nine points piercing damage against the captain.
Destore.
As you attack this guy on the other side of Skinner.
This is now, after Julian, your turn here.
Honeysuckle.
Actually, what I'm going to do, if I can get in my turn.
I moved five feet into that position.
I'm gonna go ahead and leap.
Hell yeah.
Now that I feel like I'm a little more comfortable
with that figure there for the time being,
I see everything happening over there on the tree
and you getting curb stomped for a moment on that side.
Like, I am probably more useful elsewhere from now.
Goodbye.
I'm gonna go ahead and leap back to take it
a tuck of opportunity from the captain as I do.
Fabulous.
16 hit.
So 16 just misses.
Just misses.
All right.
Cool, cool.
And so I'm gonna go 30 feet that way and then take
the same.
Yeah.
15 more feet in this direction to try and like get up into the fray.
Oh, with the guys around Thimble?
With the guys around Thimble here?
Or where, what?
Right over in that area.
Great. You can basically be side-by-side with Wolfrick at that point.
Great. Love that hair's charm, you sail over the battlefield landing there.
And our side-by-side with Wolfrick with him on top of the prone captain.
Great.
Hell yes.
Honeysuckle, stabilized, no longer making death safe thanks to Cadigan.
Our ferry poachers are going to go.
These guys who rods at the ready to kick Shuffa into the fire cannot do so.
They are going to turn, and these guys are all at full health
because we didn't roll.
These guys are going to turn and look at Octus
as you blast through that Creed member's head,
fan out around here and you go,
are going to grab some special.
Bloods.
Yeah, I'm just seeing the green in your eyes
as you zap a laser out.
They're going to take their attacks on you, my friend.
It's fine. I've got temporary points.
We're good.
Uh, ta-da.
30 points of damage.
23 hits.
23 hits.
Does a 20 hit?
The second one, I will cast shield and it will not hit.
Okay, 24, so that does hit, so that's still two hits, I assume.
Uh-huh.
Last one, it's 24.
These guys rolled very, very well.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
That's three hits on them now?
Three hits.
Oh, eight, 11 plus nine.
You take 20 points of damage as they start firing from a repeater.
You can feel that there are,
the bolts that are going into you
are covered with anti-undead talismans
that do not work.
They are fake magic.
These guys are fucking,
these guys do not appear as serious as the creed, essentially.
So there's a bunch of like,
you know, half-hearted, superstitious bullshit
just covering these,
but they do thud into your body.
Oh, ow, ow.
It takes the, and just kind of leans back for a second,
and then goes,
more.
Scream as they scream.
Yes.
These guys are going to take their attacks actually on
Wolfrick, I think,
trying to clear him off the captain to let her stand up.
Does they 19 hit Wolfrick?
Does a 14 hit Wilfrick?
No. Okay.
And that's very bad rule.
So Wolfrick takes eight points of damage
from a cold iron club, boom!
From one of the poters.
Talasin, I don't think that's gonna work.
That's so many.
These people are murder.
Yeah, they're awful.
They're all right.
They're far as in the entire village of fairies.
These are terrible people.
I hate them worse than any enemy we've encountered.
Yeah.
The save can work.
They're saves.
That's true, that's true.
That's true.
Pick on someone your own size.
And I got no other idea.
ideas. None. Not what I'm built for. Okay. This poacher's going to turn around to Cadigan right
here. Oops. Kick you off the stump.
Um, do you. D-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
There's a 14 hit Cadigan. That does not.
Swipes with this bar of cold iron.
Foo, he was,
"'Mate, there's a lot of money for you in this line of work. I want you to help us out.
I don't have much use for money.
You see, he looks at you,
like no idea what that could possibly fucking mean.
Of course he does.
No, my, the whole thing with it is it's useful.
The, and then we have these guys here.
Okay, this guy's gonna turn, take his swings on Dame Saramai.
Does a 19 hit.
19 hits.
She takes seven points of bludgeoning damage.
Okay.
And we'll roll for this last guy on.
Is she hitting us the poison?
Oh, closing into five foot.
Oh, has to make a 15 DC save.
Poisoned.
Okay, a disadvantage.
Oh, disadvantage.
That a heck misses.
Okay, great.
Steps in, closes in on Dame Saramai.
Just, yeah.
Oh, the, like.
And then.
I believe that's right now.
The three of them at the water,
they've already taken their turn.
Those are Creed fanatics
that are one of different initiatives.
These are just our poachers that are a little bit less intense.
They really love Creed.
Very intense.
Can you take me higher?
No, no, no, no.
Cut, cut, cut, cut, tight, tight, tight.
Um, our friend is prone, but not grappled.
That is correct.
That is correct.
Okay.
I think Wolferk on top of them is just flavor.
Yes, she's gross thumbs and it's just like,
ha, opposable thumbs, finally.
Death save for the tree.
Oh no.
I'd rather not.
What's the?
Two fails.
Sorry, what's the two fails.
Ten.
Ten, which is barely a success.
We love trees.
We love trees.
That was, okay.
Okay, okay.
This is good.
This is good.
Is it alive?
Is it alive?
The tree's not dead yet.
That had failed, it would have been dead.
Very bad time.
She is going to, seeing that Hawthorne is protected,
she's going to stand up and I'm going to need dexterity saving throws
from Wolfrick, Julian, and Valles.
That's good they see this.
Oh my.
Okay.
Saving.
16? 16 is a success.
Let me know what Wolford gets.
I don't know how to do this.
I rolled in 18, but I don't know how to add the mods,
the saving.
So 16 succeeds in national 18.
Oh, okay, okay, okay, yeah, yeah.
We're good.
What's that?
I rolled to 18, but I don't know how to do the math.
Okay.
Great.
I see if I feel like I have.
Dex save?
I know, I know.
I think that's just your dex modifier.
Yeah, on creature blocks.
Yeah, it's just the modifier.
Seven.
Seven.
Julian and Wolfrick are able to leap out of the way.
The captain stands up, looks at you,
and takes a sort of barreled canister of something
and a spooled tight coil of razor-sharp wire,
cold iron bursts out of it.
You have the restrained condition.
Shit.
And take six points of slashing damage.
That's very cool and upsetting.
To you go, Franks!
This thing piles out.
She is going to,
bonus action disengage.
She's going to bonus action disengage
and move out of the way here
behind her companions and say,
Interlovers! Cut them where they stand!
Tell the Lux! And that is going to be her turn.
Is the Lux the one I killed?
Doesn't appear to be. Okay.
In the game.
was the giant guy that we heard about,
and we haven't even seen him yet.
Yeah, in the cave.
He's in the cave, he's shaking the crystal.
He might have just smashed the.
Fuck.
We got to.
I don't know where the entrance is.
We're almost done clearing out the peons.
We've never been here before.
That is going to be
everyone here, here's an enormous shattering.
Shit.
Bullaire, that's going to be your turn.
Well.
I suppose I'm going to drop the,
I'm going to drop the,
hunger.
Yeah, the Haggar and I'm closing the portal.
That hopefully means all that water is disappearing.
You close the portal and I'd like you to,
as you close the portal,
as you close the portal,
it vanishes and with a readied action,
you see one of the luxes here, turns or
looking and going, like,
Demon of the underworld!
A seven foot long arm of green moss and claws
reaches out, grabs him by the throat,
and pulls them into the water.
Boom, with a splash as a, there's a churn of blood
and a horrifying hag leaps out of the water right here.
It is your turn.
Okay.
Free to drop the spell.
Out of curiosity,
Okay, so that was just her reaction.
She had a ready to action to just grab someone and eat them.
I feel like I'm going to, I don't know if I can get enough of this
of just to look at this hag and go, can you handle the fire?
Let me see if she can.
Can you run the file?
Otherwise, I'm gonna have to do some weird shit.
That may not work.
It was the first time for that, right?
No, fuck right off.
She looks at the burning tree and says,
I cannot. They are underneath as well.
Shit. Okay, who around here looks like a magic user?
Do I see anybody who looks like they've got something?
Eh.
Magic users over here.
Magic users over here.
Those are the last that remain on the battlefield.
Okay. I'm gonna pick, uh, yeah, whoever looks healthiest.
Uh, and I'm just, which I trust you for whoever looks healthiest.
Probably one of these two over here.
And I'm going to.
to cast suggestion.
Mm-hmm.
So I, it's going to be a, where is it?
Wisdom saving throw.
Mm-hmm.
And yeah.
Oh, that is a failure.
So a little, just in the corner on their left side,
suddenly a little glass-reflected,
mirrored version of Valer's mask,
and one gloved hand show up and start whispering their ear.
their ear. Oh no. We made a mistake. If we don't put out the fires, we're trapped here forever. Put them out now. Start with the big one. And they believe that.
Hell yeah. And they have to do anything they can, and we can't hit them. So I'm going to make a point of...
Yeah. Which one? Whichever one looked healthiest.
It's great.
Both of these guys are equally healthy over here. Oh, okay.
whichever one looks more earthy.
Great.
Kill the hippie first.
They know what they did.
God, Lord.
So with that done, that's my action.
Hell yeah.
They're about to do that.
I am going to, let's see.
I'm going to position myself.
I'm going to head over and engage.
Is there anyone I can get a hold of or I just have to go to that other whizzer, I suppose, at the moment?
Who's available to stab? You got this guy right up here available to stab.
All right, I'll head in that direction. Great. Jump up here.
That's like 25, yeah. I can't stab yet, but if he tries any shit, I can talk him up.
Great. You leap over there, get into the range of movement. We are going to start to rule for our friends here.
The one who is not charmed,
oh, Jesus.
You see this guy back here, Skinner, who's been going to work.
You see, he puts his sickle in the guy's stomach,
opens it up, grabs his hat, and goes, yeah, fresh coat!
And that guy is no more.
Yes.
The other guy's charmed here.
Oh, Skinner, no.
Wait.
Wait.
Wait, Peter.
No.
Our little sprites have two fails and one success.
No.
Oh.
How do they say two?
Two.
Fimble underneath you,
you see the poacher looking at the captain,
looks up and says,
we could have all made a killing
and thuds the sack into the head.
Shafa is next.
Only one fail, but a nat one on the die will
be second fail. That is going to be our creed members. These two are going to take their
attacks against Salo guiding bolts into the hag. That is one hit. Salo takes a pile of damage,
but is still up. That is going to be
There's going to be able to have some more creed.
Oh, no, those are the only two.
Keep it honest, there is one figure on the other side of this plant.
I don't know if you can see them.
Yes, gotcha. Thank you very much.
This is one of the fairy poachers who has been taking crossbow attacks.
Right, okay.
But we'll move out into this area here.
We will look out now.
That is going to be, both of them attack Salo.
Mallow. Most of you have fairy poachers out here actually at this point in time.
That is going to be back at the top of initiative with Cadigan.
Come on, come on.
Where is our captain? I'm losing him on the battlefield a little bit.
Captain is right there. So he's broken away.
You have the captain there.
Shuffa's on two death save fails over here.
We've got these two guys pursuing the tree still and the third guy up here with his back to it.
A real question for Julian.
Julian.
Oh, and I'm sorry.
I actually forgot after it.
It's actually Hawthorne's turn.
Oh, great.
So you're about to go, but this one here.
Okay.
Hawthorne has one failed,
and that one will be the end of Hawthorne.
Oh, come on.
I hate this.
Nine. Second fail for Hawthorne.
Okay.
In the cavern underneath this place,
you actually, unbelievably, someone you cannot see,
makes a Nat 20 death save and regained one hit point.
And you hear a thunderous thing under the cavern underneath you.
Just keeping it honest.
Cagan is your turn.
Julie.
In our short time together, would you consider Wolfrick
to be your ally?
Oh, yeah. Okay, great.
I'd say in the sense that we are both fighting
the same things and haven't gotten into any sort
of angry argument where I've been in a bitten
for the time being.
We're allies.
He doesn't bite, I promise.
All right, then I will use,
because it's within five feet of Julian,
I'll use pack tactics so that I get advantage
on my attack at the nearest enemy,
this guy with the cape maybe.
This guy down here?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then I'll use B strike on this guy
for my bonus action.
Cool.
Definitely need it.
How deep is our friendship?
Oh my God, from a natural one to A 24.
Yes.
Thank you for being friends.
And then it's eight plus five, three, nine.
Nine damage, great.
Fiercing, yeah.
And that guy.
And then Katagan's gonna engage with this guy closest to the tree.
Okay, this guy right here.
Uh-huh. Yeah. Just swing away.
I was just to say if you can move, you could get...
Flanking.
Clanking. Yeah.
If you take a little step.
Yeah, if we're not close enough, yeah, why not? Let's do it.
They have knocked you all down.
Great.
Go for it.
Yeah, and I think there's this sort of inherent savagery in this encounter,
so I'm going to use his club side, so double arm,
which means he can't use range the next attack.
Yeah.
Or one arm is just a double hand strike.
16.
Oh, yeah, okay.
16 plus seven.
That is a...
23.
Great.
So eight, seven, seven plus, sorry.
Oh, so slow.
There's too many.
Seven plus seven, 14 for the first attack on that guy.
14 damage for the first attack on him?
Yes.
Lodging.
And this, I believe this poacher here,
this is this guy right here who has,
Taliesin, you've hit him before, correct?
Oh, no, you have not.
Okay, great.
You hit him for how many points of damage to have you?
14.
14, great.
Pludgeoning him for 14 points of damage.
Go ahead and roll your second attack.
I'll do the same thing again.
Eight plus seven, 15 on that one.
15 damage? Yeah, great.
No, no, I'm sorry.
15 to hit? 15 exactly hits.
Okay, great.
Great, and then five plus seven, 12.
12 points of damage.
Bloodied, boom, thudding this club into this guy's
side, hearing ribs crack underneath the weight.
Because that was my club, he's also gonna have slow.
So he loses 10 feet of movement.
Lose 10 feet of movement.
Awesome.
Thimble, that is going to be you.
I can't see anything that's happening over here,
so I don't.
Is the captain still up?
Captain is still up.
This is such a fucking losing battle.
And there's people on the underside of the tree
that's like destroying the cave.
Yeah.
How far is the cave from here?
I would know.
You remember that the entrance is right underneath here.
Yeah, there are entrances over there.
Okay.
So I wouldn't get there on this turn anyway.
You could move dash and bonus action dash.
Yeah, but then once I get there,
I won't be able to do anything.
Yeah.
I can.
I'm gonna go for the captain here, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And try to demoralize this group at least.
Yes.
It's up here.
Yeah.
I'm gonna fly down and attack the captain.
And would I be?
She's only 30 feet away.
You can get there in one piece of movement.
Um, get her.
Would I surprise her? Would it be in a sneak attack?
You can get, by going on the other side of her,
you can get rakish audacity,
because no one will be within five feet of you,
so you would get, believe, advanced,
or no, does not advantage.
I'd still get the sneak attack.
You'd still get the sneak attack.
Is your speed more than 30, though?
So take it more than.
My speed is 30, I assume.
Like, it never got fixed.
It just says my walking speed is 10.
That's all I have on my page.
Your flight speed is 30.
Okay.
So you can get there, right?
Yeah, absolutely.
That's, yeah, no sweat.
Yeah.
30 feet of movement gets to there, no problem.
You can take your attack.
Won't be with advantage, but you'll look at your sneak attack.
And you can do the whole Vex.
Yeah, I'll do, okay, I'll do the Vex first.
Hell yeah.
Go for it, go ahead and give you your tackle.
Natural 20. Yes!
Let's.
Fucking shit.
Yes.
Fuck that guy.
what you do.
Go ahead and roll damage.
If you would be so kind.
Let's go, Laura.
Yes, Laura.
Okay, okay, that's seven.
So 14 plus five.
There's 19 points.
And then then.
You got a sneak attack of that.
With 14 hit points left, how do you want to do this?
Yes.
Oh, I'm gonna fly down and stride.
I'm gonna get up in front of them and say,
you should never have gone.
And stab it, like as I'm looking them in the eye,
up into their mouth.
Through the roof of the mouth, into the brain,
light goes out of her eyes,
and she is dead at the end of your sword.
That's your first attack.
On a Nat 20, as she falls,
her little bag of tricks with that razor wire coil,
up.
As she drops her bag of tricks, iron filings,
that razor wire coil,
all this bullshit tumbles out along with two potions of healing.
Oh. Can I, I'm right next to Shepha.
You are right next to Shuffle.
I'm gonna heal Shepha.
Object interaction.
So, yes, and I believe you have another attack
if it's part of the NIC property.
That's what combines them into the same.
Yes.
So you have that other side.
But object interaction to grab it
and bonus action to feed it to Shuffa.
Okay.
Okay.
You are going to, as you fly down,
let me see if I have this.
She collapses, you use an object interaction
to pick up the potion.
It's a bonus action to feed the potion to Shuffa.
I'm going to be a dick because you're,
it's a little bit past your movement,
but give me acrobatics difficulty 15.
14.
14.
God no, fuck.
Damn it.
The dice give it.
The dice take it away.
You have two healing potions on your person
as an object interaction, but you still have your bonus action.
You still have that other attack.
Okay, I can't heal Shepha.
Because you don't have the movement to get to Shepha?
You're literally like five feet away and one on the die away.
Okay, wait, who's going after me?
Uh, Octus.
But you're far away.
I can get.
though. To Shuffa, but who can get to Hawthorne?
Hawthorne. Oh, up there?
Julian. Julian's right next to him.
I'm gonna take one of these healing potions and look at Julian
and chuck it to Julian.
And say, heal Hawthorne!
Right!
Gotlet out.
Go ahead, give me acrobatics.
Oh my God, if you dropped it.
That's gonna be a dirty 20.
Hell yeah.
Bam! You catch it in the air.
You have another healing potion that
But you have an object interaction.
And you have that one in your hand.
That is an incredible turn.
You have a healing potion.
You have one.
And I believe that's the end of your turn.
Octus comes after you.
Okay.
Captain's dead.
Captain's dead.
So we have this one down.
And is this person still up here?
That person is still up there.
Yes.
They are dead.
That person's dead.
Dead.
That's Ross Blosson.
Can you show me a 10 foot radius sphere?
I sure can.
10 foot radius sphere, so like 20 foot diameter, right?
Yeah, just 10 foot radius.
Mm-hmm.
I actually have this here.
As a sphere.
Beautiful, thank you.
10 foot sphere.
Okay, so I could hit two,
these two or these two.
Yes.
So I'm gonna take the two that shot me.
Mm-hmm.
Uh-huh.
And take this.
I'll look them and say.
I'm gonna move a little, I'm gonna move.
That could have gone so poorly.
You have these bags that just hang up your arms.
Why put them back?
Because they carry everything I need.
Pin is gonna go over to here.
Cool.
Up next to Wolfram.
And use the help action for Wolframk.
Cool. And then I'm going to
cast, pulling out a loop of, a looped bit of,
what the hell is the word?
It is a twig.
There it is.
I'm so stressed.
A twig that has been bent into a loop.
And I take it up and I breathe into it and I say, consume.
And a little black bead appears between the two of them
and expands into a 10-foot radius with,
and I'm casting wither in bloom.
And I'm going to drain, um,
life from them, they're each going to take,
or they're gonna make a Constitution saving throw
to DC-15.
Two failures.
Okay, they're taking 11 points of necrotic damage each.
Hell ya.
As it sucks the life out of them,
all of the plant grove around their feet withers.
And then Shuffa heals a hit die
plus my spell casting modifier.
Holy shit.
What?
Yeah.
That's cool.
Holy shit.
Done, mother mother.
Yay.
So it's gonna heal a hit die plus seven.
Hit die plus seven.
Please give me, what?
Shuffa, what's your hit dice, buddy?
D10, give me a D10 plus seven.
I just roll 10.
Wow.
13 hit points.
13 hit points.
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
You hear,
Octus, in this moment, you have walked into this place as a dead thing. However, it is being desanctified and blasphemed by the living.
You reach into a place of necromantic magic and reapportion some essence of living things away from those who would misuse it to those who have done no wrong.
Necrimandzi is not about just death,
is about the difference and the changing
between life and death and life is also a part of it,
and therefore the transference of life from one to another
is the same as healing.
And Shuffa roars back to life right here.
Incredible, Octus.
Okay, I do have a bonus action still,
which I don't think I can do anything.
Oh, my bonus was PIN doing the help action.
I will then have Dame Sarah
who I believe is still in combat with one of them.
Yes. And you took some damage, correct?
I have taken damage.
Can you roll concentration for me?
Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes.
10, I'm good.
Great. Incredible.
I also gain seven temporary hit points
from that spell.
Awesome. Because I cast a grim harvest.
I suck a little bit of that necromanic energy back into myself.
Suckle a little of it.
Suckle a little of it.
Like a sip out of that.
Is the person Dame Saramai is attacking still peril?
They are paralyzed until, it might be my next turn,
so it might have already gone away, so let me just double check.
They are paralyzed until the start its next turn, so no.
Answer my own question.
Awesome.
Until the end of its next turn, never mind,
it is paralyzed still.
Oh, okay, who's paralyzed still?
The one that is Dame Ceramai still in base-to-base context of one?
Have they, until the end of, has the paralyzed condition
until the end of its next turn, so it has it gone yet since I've done?
one who was paralyzed previously?
Is the dead?
Oh, then never mind.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just another person who is there.
Yep. Okay, they're poisoned.
So I was going to make an attack against them.
Mm-hmm.
That is 13 plus seven to hit.
That is a hit.
Okay, 20.
Okay.
Okay.
98, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Ten points of slashing damage and is paralyzed.
I believe, no, that's dead.
From a sword across the throat.
So swings the sword and faints with it
and instead just latches onto the neck
and rips out the throat with its teeth.
Yeah.
But through the gauze and everything,
the teeth fucking through.
Remember to leave mine.
Yes, which that's the one over there, right?
Okay, so Dame's Jeremy still has movement.
Yeah. Who is around here?
There's two other folks there.
Two right here next to.
to Skinner. And there's these ones over by the link.
The one next to Skinner, one of the ones next to Skinner over there
is the one that you've marked.
Yes, correct?
I don't want to poison it by going over there.
Can you get past it without a?
It within five feet.
Seramai could close over on this side.
Yeah, let's have that happen.
Great.
And then it's just gonna be in base-to-base contact with that one.
And then that will be Dame Saramai's turn.
Um, uh.
You have to pass through or just start or stop there?
It is Sallow's turn after Octus.
And you see that Sallot turns to you, Thimble,
seeing you end the captain, toss the healing potion.
You see Sallow goes,
Sallow looks at you and says,
the tree may live or die, but Hawthorn must survive.
And rushes over.
We're going to make three grapple attempts.
Sorry, buddy.
and takes Homeboy into deep water
where he cannot swim.
Just draffles, just like, boom,
into the water.
Oh, indeed I do.
Oh, D-I-D-D-I-D-D.
Oh, I-D-I-D.
Oh, I do, Jack.
Unbelievable.
That is.
I love Hags so much.
I love Hags.
I love Hags.
Hey, what can I say, man?
I love Hags.
Hey.
Hey.
Hapensstance.
Hagenstance.
Hagenstance.
That sounds like.
That sounds like a hog and a dog's place.
I'm here for some haggendos.
I'm here for some haggendaz.
Yeah, two scoops right now.
Haganaz.
Okay.
That's right not sponsored me.
Vela, that is your turn.
Yes, it is.
You're in the wire.
I'm in the, oh yeah, that's right.
Well, actually, is the, you are restrained.
You have the stringed question, but you can,
you can potentially make a check to get out of this.
You can have an athletics check to get out of it.
I'm just trying, as I'm trying to pull it off,
I'm gonna pull it off, I'm just like, fuck the creed.
Fuck Salandry, I'm just pissed.
Okay, I'm gonna try to get out of here.
So you also, if you can fight anyone from where you are right now,
you don't have to attempt to get out, but it takes an action to get out of the wire.
Oh, yeah, there's a person.
But I can stay in it and just try to fight with it on.
Yeah. Sure.
And you have range, right?
Yeah, there's one person right there.
Yeah.
Yeah, you have a homeboy right here that you can hit from where you are.
Great. I'm gonna just keep going.
I'm not gonna take the time to take this off.
You take another five points of damage
as it just constricts into you and you're like,
literally not worth it.
Go ahead and roll your attack rolls.
That's awful.
Are you flanking the first one?
12 is the first one. No.
12 misses, correct.
But you are flanking, so you roll with advantage.
Right, is that cat?
No, no, you got Homeboy on the other side.
You got the layer on the other side.
Oh, yeah, right, great.
Okay, so that will hit.
That's, uh, you know, this 21.
21 hits. Right. Right, right.
Okay, we got four plus five, nine, plus embers.
That was three.
That was six.
Ooh, 15.
15.
Okay, roll your second attack.
Okay, second attack.
Yeah, let's see if you get 20.
No, we don't, but that's higher.
26.
Go ahead and roll damage.
Okay.
It's a seven, plus five, which is 13.
13, and then Ember, 12, 12, 12, 12.
Plus two.
Plus two.
Valis, please describe for me how you end this guy's life
while conscripted in RazorWRab.
Okay, so while constricted, I'm like,
God damn it, and I'll just start getting it going,
and he's like looking somewhere else,
and I'll just try to just bash him.
Blam, a head into the side of the tree.
This guy is no more, boom, gone.
Yeah.
Oh, fuck!
Yeah, you got a duck, baby.
It curves it around, like using your shoulder as like a whack.
You can bend the bullet.
Yeah.
With bonus action and since I did move,
and I start to try to take it off.
Or no?
No, you cannot try and take it off.
It'll be an action on your next turn.
Someone else can also do an action.
That's a boring action, guys.
Don't waste your turn.
Got it. Great. We'll get it off. Don't help.
Julian Davinos, that is you.
Okay, I'm going to take the healing potion, drink it real fast.
How much does it heal?
Oh, you both.
Yeah. I got it.
Amazing.
I would respect.
I would too.
That's so bad.
I'm like, taking one hit.
I'm like, just a top off.
No, like, I'm not like,
I'm not like,
I'm not like,
collecting the potion in his gauntlet at hand,
he looks back towards the dryad.
Yeah.
Still currently covered in the
briar, right?
Yes, correct.
I'm gonna go ahead and quickly sheave the blade,
swap hands with the potion, lean in,
and just kind of tear back briars enough
to get to the dryad's face.
Yes.
And pull the cork of my teeth and go like,
all right, a little bit of love from the orchard.
And go ahead and try and administer it to her as a bonus action.
I'm gonna say you take two points of damage,
getting your hand through the briars
and see this beautiful dryads face, uncork this.
this potion that as it opens, smells of like thick honey
and syrup and you realize it itself,
like everything else, these guys have stolen,
rendered from ill-gotten fairy goods
and returns home.
Go ahead and roll 3D4 plus three.
Let's go.
10 points of healing.
Hawthorne returns to the battlefield with 10 hit points.
Looks up and goes, my tree.
And incredible, that is your bonus action to feed that.
You have an action left.
I go, all right.
Welcome back to the fray.
Turn around.
Who amongst the standing here looks to be
of the highest ranking?
The baby, you guys have cleared the field of high ranking.
You got two, I think, pretty much,
except for the one that, as Wolfrick hit this guy before,
I believe. No, he did not.
Oh, he did, yes, yes, he did.
Yeah.
Yes, I believe he did.
And this guy's totally uninjured right here,
who just killed some of the-
He's the one that smashed the little sprites.
All right, so I look down and see him
kind of like dropping the smashed bag,
and I go, oh, you're gonna die to that,
friend.
I'm gonna go ahead and just leap down
to get between both of those two
at the base of the tree.
Hell yeah.
And then I'm gonna go ahead and strike
with my rapier towards the one
that's still holding the bag.
You got it.
That's cocked.
There we go.
That's going to be 29 to hit.
Oh, you do it, hell yeah.
That's four, I'm gonna establish tacker.
That's much better.
That's gonna be 15 points of piercing damage
on that gentleman.
Oh, badly injured, hell yes.
Incredible.
And with that, I'm gonna go ahead and hairy
like a gauntlet out on one side,
rapier on the other ready and just kind of
looking back at the two and be like,
Who wants to try something?
Who wants to fucking try something?
I'm saying my turn.
Start waving your hand in front of your head.
Yeah.
Come on, come.
Come on.
He's a fucking bragger.
Are you kidding?
These guys would love to try something and are going to get flanking to do exactly that.
Does a 19 hit?
A 19 would hit.
I'm going to go ahead and use my special feature that I got from it,
the Perry Repostin Disarm.
Hell yeah.
To increase my AC against that attack to a 21.
Okay.
Hell, yeah.
You get an immediate repost on him.
You can attack right away.
So cool.
And look, love it.
Go and attack him as the re-
part of that action there.
That's gonna be a 20 to hit.
20 to hit is a hit, and you can either deal damage
or disarm him, your choice.
Oh, I'm dealing damage.
Yeah, hell yeah.
Great.
That's gonna be 10 points of piercing damage.
Awesome.
Boom.
As the sword thuds in, he misses with that attack.
Second attack he misses as well.
Other guy behind him, 22 to 22 hit.
23 to his head, yeah.
And that's a natural 20.
Oh, he's fine.
Yo.
It's fine.
That's going to be 15 points of bludgeoning damage overall
from that guy wailing against you.
This guy's gonna turn and swing on Fimble.
Oh, no, I'm right there.
That's a miss.
These two are,
We are going to flank Octus.
Oh, what?
No.
18 hit.
Yeah.
Do you still have your shield?
Yeah.
17 hit?
Yeah.
I will use, oh my God, how many?
Okay, yeah, I will use shield on one of them.
Use my reaction.
If you do it on the first one,
it applies to all of them.
Oh, yeah, then it's just, yeah.
Shield.
Yeah, so they would miss both.
Does a 20 hit?
Plus five to your normal AC.
21 is my end.
They miss all of their attacks as you shield yourself in, like, ghostly energy, this kind of green my eyes, but just goes
around me and just negates all the attacks.
Hell yeah. Does a 23 hit Saramai?
Oh yeah, yeah, absolutely. Seven points of damage to Dame Saramai. Is that the, the, the, the, the, the,
Rospo one? Yes. They have to make the DC saving throw up 15.
Not one. Okay, they have disadvantage now they are poison. Okay. And that's a miss on
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Yeah, unbelievable.
Yeah, unbelievable.
Okay, those are our fairy poachers.
Weirdly more useful in death.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
What is this?
Who is this for?
This is the tree.
No.
Yeah.
Good vibes.
Three.
Bucks.
Me.
The tree cracks and breaks and breaks, and you watch as though she is here.
Though she is healed, Hawthorne diminishes
as the hawthorn blossoms fall from her hair
as her tree dies.
And so with it, your path on the Miller's Road.
Fuck.
Big loss.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a big loss.
It's a big loss.
Yeah.
Unless that was.
Wizard can know something I don't know.
We can get to all of it in like a day.
Yeah.
I don't know if that man, maybe that would
Wizard got shit, I don't know.
If we survive.
If we survive this.
There's still a whole contingency under,
we haven't gone underneath yet.
That is going to be Belair.
Oh, I am so upset.
All right, let's see.
Is there anyone, who's still standing?
Is there anyone around me who, any enemies on the ground?
There are these two around me.
There are these two around Julia.
There's one over here with a symbol.
About five left.
All right.
Oh, and there's one over here,
and then your friend over here and then that's over there.
There's so many people still.
Who has not put out the fire at all.
Yeah. Well, they haven't had a turn yet.
Oh, yeah.
But wait, if you cast on them last time.
That's true, you did.
Yeah.
Didn't do it.
What happened?
So wait, but they had put out the fire.
I don't think they could have gotten to it.
I will say this.
This member of the Creed, who I believe you are correct,
should have gone on their last turn, takes off their
cloak and begins to run and uses a movement and action
to close with the fire here.
Yeah.
They unfortunately do not have quench or any spell.
I went for it.
Yeah. It was worth a try.
So let's see. I guess.
And so there's no living creatures right now who are within
within range.
This one with the suggestion you're trying to put the fire out
is only one within range.
And on the two that are on meat.
Two that are on Augustus.
All right.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Nice is nice.
Not my favorite, but let's see if I can do this.
Flash dance it over there.
Yeah, let's pick your poison.
Oh, and then how far away is the one on Thimble?
I'm losing.
Quite far away from where you are right now.
She'll say 60 feet.
I would say exactly about 60 feet.
Are you okay? You're doing fine?
Just turn to look.
No, I mean like, how do you look?
I am at 23 out of 37 with seven temporary hit points.
I'm fine.
Okay.
I'm going to cast mine sliver.
And just a little shard of glass is going to appear
next to the head of that fuck over there.
Hell yeah.
And it's a, succeed an intelligent saving throw.
Shockingly he does not.
Uh huh. So that's 2d6 damage.
Uh, that's, uh, that's 11 points of psychic damage.
Uh, and they lose 1D4 from their next saving three.
Incredible. Okay, amazing.
Right through the ear.
I'm gonna start heading towards these fucks.
Over here. Yep.
10, 15, 20, 25. Okay, amazing.
You begin to close in.
You only have that one.
There's Skinner's over there as well.
Well, there's two over there.
Yes, that's correct.
And I skinners, yeah, so that's everything I got.
I can attempt to intimidate them with my bonus action.
I don't know if that will help.
Do you allow it? Yeah, I don't know.
As I approach, I'm going to use the full,
as much of my wonderful disturbing face,
and I'm just going to smile and say,
where do you think your soul goes if you die here?
And that's fun.
Frightened by that, you see with flanking from Ceramai,
who I believe already injured that one,
Skinner finishes the job.
Draws his sickle across this last poacher.
This area is clear.
Skinner looks at you and goes,
you'll find out.
You see, Skinner looks at you and says,
Hey, he's little guy.
And is going to,
he's half.
The gnome.
Have you become Tiny Belair?
I can do that.
Belair.
I am Tiny Belair at the Story of Worlds.
Not as Tiny Belair?
No.
Please roll your minus save for this guy,
which is 1D4.
Oh, they're minus.
They have a-
No, no, I know.
I want you to roll the D4 on the minus save.
You're looking for a two or higher.
Three.
With exactly that, Shuffa engulfs this guy
and swallows this fairy poacher internally.
He takes an additional 3D6 points of lightning.
That's a two five and a six.
Of as he's just shredded apart by internal briarer.
Oh, God.
That would hurt.
And who are our creed?
That would really hurt.
Actually, thinking about it.
Not that I think about it.
This guy's still affected by suggestion, I believe.
It will be there until suggestion will hold.
Does he make a save at the end of every one of his turns?
No.
Suggestion, here I'll...
He goes, you see he goes, Brethren, we must douse the fire,
the light, the light commands it.
Brethren!
And...
Yeah.
Until I lose concentration,
they got eight hours of this shit
or until I decide, until they finish,
until eight hours pass or until I'm done.
This Creed member here.
Oh, I forgot that person.
Yeah, they're a problem.
He's going to jump up and he's going to
roll in attack on Octus does a 21 hit.
21 is exactly my armor clause.
I hate this.
You take 11 points of radiant damage.
Oh, no.
That's bad. We're fine.
We're fine.
We're fine.
And Hawthorne, protected as she is, nevertheless,
is going to, seeing that she's going to
reach out and cast entangle, I think.
Oh no, she'd hit everybody with that.
Moving from this place here,
she's going to step down and cast cure wounds on Julian.
Have you taken any damage or just crucial?
I'm taking a little bit, but I'm okay.
Okay, gotcha.
Well, I think she's still gonna do it.
And she's going to...
Yeah.
She's going to heal you for nine...
Oh, seven. She heals beautiful.
And we are back at the table.
top of Caghan. Wolfrick has advantage on its attack.
Currently. Yeah, because I give it the help action. Oh yeah, and we're next to
Julian two, so that's great. Okay. And you're engaged with these other two guys.
Yes. From my perspective, how bad does Octus look like dinged up with? I've got
four crossbow bolts sticking out of my chest. Okay. And I'm sitting there standing
between two guys with swords. Two guys with swords. Okay. Pretty boy! Yeah. How do
nimble are you? Above average. Sweet. I'm gonna take an attack on the guy that's closest to me
range with a bolt. I don't know, 13. 13 is a miss. Second attack. 14 plus 7. 21. 21 hits.
21 hits. Okay. This is the dude in combat with Julian, correct? Or no, with Octus. No, no. The guy
closest to me from Octus. Cool. Okay, so 28 plus seven, seven plus seven.
is 14. Hell yeah. 14 damage. Boom, badly injured.
Do you have your consent? Yeah. Do you have your consent?
Yeah. Duck! And I'll use Hale of Thorn's second level.
Hell yeah. So anyone within five feet is 2D10.
Whoa. So my guy, you're gonna need a dex of just 14 to save it.
He does have, he does have warning, so I don't know. Does that create any...
Yeah, I have warning. Do I have advantage? Sure. Great.
That makes sense.
And they're making deck savers against this.
But they also have worn again.
Okay, it's pretty good.
Ooh, ooh.
It's 16 damage on everyone within a five foot.
You can half it if you save the decks.
You said 14 was a DC?
Yes.
I got a 14.
Hell yes.
So half the damage, how much?
The guy on the far side does not.
So it's only, oh, yeah, 17.
So half that.
So eight, eight.
This guy's on Death Store, the one that you just
hit with that bolt. He fails his save and is on the very verge of death.
And then the other guys within five feet, if they're within
melee with Octus, right? Yes, if Octus is the target, then yeah,
he's within five feet. Oh, the guy, but the guy in front?
Yeah, so he would hit them and hit me, not the other guy.
It wouldn't hit the other guy. It's fine. Sorry. It's fine. You did a lot
damage to that guy. All right. Hell yeah, and Wolfrick went?
It's just a bit of, a bunch of thorns on the side of my face.
Doc.
I'm gonna go and hit the guy that is damaged in front of Octus.
Hell yeah.
It's like a bunch of honey bolts.
Go ahead and give me your attack.
You can go so do with advantage.
With flank.
Advantage.
Oh.
Whoa, whoa.
That was a journey.
That was a journey. Hold on.
Hold on. My iPads running out of batteries and so like,
it's fine. It just keeps turning off because of it.
That is 16?
16 hits!
Okay, so that's with the sneak attack,
that's because it's an advantage, right?
Okay, that's great.
Okay, that's great.
12 plus 12, 1, 2, 3.
Oh, she asked you.
Okay, okay.
Eight is 20, 25 points of damage.
25 points of damage.
How do you want to do this?
Yes, sweet.
I'm gonna go up in, I can't do, I'm flying out from the side.
He's looking at Octus, so I'm gonna just come into his ears.
Ooh, that sounds, I'm gonna stop.
I'm gonna.
New shirt.
New shirt.
Come into his ear.
How into his ear.
Q-tips should only be used as directed.
Very dangerous.
Very dangerous.
Okay, sword into the brain dead.
Okay, second attack.
Uh-huh.
I'm gonna look at Octus.
Are you okay, it looked like it hurt?
And I'm gonna fly past his shoulder
and stab at the other guy.
Go for it.
Okay, lo-l-l-l-l-up.
Okay, that's 16 to hit.
16 hits.
All right.
So that's just five points of damage.
Because I don't add my teeth.
I don't add my modifier.
Or my modifier, I don't know.
You do add your modifier.
Oh, unless you...
That's what we...
Nick.
Yes, we figured out.
Yes, yes, yes, got it.
Just five points of damage.
So just five points of damage.
So just five points of damage.
I should have gone for that first guy
and then the second guy.
But, you know, I didn't know I was going to take him down.
So what if I missed or something?
There you go.
My bad.
All good.
Fimble.
That is your turn.
Octus.
That is your turn.
Okay.
Kadegan actually didn't get a chance to do Wolfram.
Yeah, I didn't need Wolfram didn't go.
But instead of doing damage,
What I'd like to do instead is just holler out a command.
And I'm just like,
Protect the long, Ed, one.
And I want to assign a Wolfric to be with Julian
as Primal Guardian.
So you'd basically just get a plus two to your AC.
Great.
Love that. Hell yeah.
Pin.
Let's open a forest.
Go right over here.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
What's that warm?
Who's that?
So, Octus.
Hop, hop.
Thorns on the side of his face.
four bolts out of his chest.
Turns and looks at the other guy and says,
I think this is yours, takes the bolt,
pulls it out.
Hell yeah. The blood,
orb floats out, coats the front of it.
Hell yeah.
And I cast shocking grasp, and I'm gonna stab it into it.
Cool, bo, bo, boom.
So this will add 2D6 necrotic damage
to the shocking grasp attack.
Hell yes.
Um.
Cool.
Cool.
There it is.
That is a 17 plus seven.
Ooh, that is a hit.
Go ahead and roll damage.
2D8.
Plus 2D6.
Vailis, you're on deck.
Still restrained by this barbed wire,
but nevertheless.
That's 11
electricity or lightning damage,
and then seven necrotic
damage.
Finish him.
How do you want to do this?
So I just, I stabbed the, the, the bolt.
Thank you, the bolt into him and just go,
see if we can stop this heart.
Can I do this?
Whoa!
Falls to the ground, dead.
Unbelievable.
And I just look up at the Kandescent Creed member and go,
Hi!
I just start, I'm riding his shoulder at this point.
And just start walking up.
Walk over to them and just,
this guy up on the rock.
Yeah, I think.
They're a spellcaster, correct?
Correct.
I'm gonna get within base-to-base contact.
Cool. Awesome.
Awesome. Nice.
You can feel that they have a protection
against Undead and Fay surrounding them
that begins to sort of singe you as you get within contact with them.
The green is sort of still, the steam is sort of leaking
from his eyes and just goes,
I have one more.
After your turn, you hear the screams of Sallow
discovering the cave underneath and going to work
in whatever's happening down there.
And Vailas, that is your turn.
Okay. Who's still up of bad guys?
We have, it doesn't creed.
No one within range of you read us.
You might want to use your action
to get that restraining stuff off of you.
Just these two and the Creed member,
that's everybody left.
Great.
Well, and.
And your-
Oh, Sarah-I-Go.
I've got my one on the fire.
Are there any left here?
Oh, Ceramai goes immediately after me.
Okay.
I'm gonna have Ceramai use their movement.
30. And their bonus action as a dash to get up in base-to-base contact with the
Can she bonus action dash? Yeah. Great. Awesome. Yeah, there's already one person alive
still over here.
Detention dash is for rogue. Sorry, not bonus action dash. But you take her action to
action to do. That's what I mean, action to you. And there's one person still alive over here
to leave. Just the person putting the fire out. Oh, these two are dead.
These two are dead. Oh, I had no idea. Yeah. Skinner got him.
So we have Candessa who's putting out the fire. We have one guy that's on Julian and then this guy up here.
Two guys on Julian, one Creight on the Rock.
Okay.
Am I able to hit one of the, if I do the same thing,
try to hit one of the guys?
No, you're out of range of them right now.
Okay, so I'm gonna spend my action taking off this.
Razor wire.
Yeah.
You take one final seven points of damage taking the middle layer off.
Any bonus actions from you? I don't believe so, right?
But you have movement, so you can close and give someone flanking if you want.
Great.
I will move to give flanking for Julian.
Hell yeah.
Yes.
Awesome. Speaking of which,
Julian, it is your turn.
Is it?
Hi, friend.
Good to see you. How's he been?
Fantastic. We got a thing we got a...
I'm just going to go with it.
The difference between our states right now.
Yeah.
He's just low, yeah.
I'm just cut everywhere.
Starting it into a conversation.
It's a bonding experience.
Yeah, so the one that you have flamed him,
go ahead and go with the rapier against that one.
Ooh.
I'm glad for advantage.
So that's to me a 29 to hit.
29 hits.
Question mark.
Oh, yeah.
15 points of piercing damage on that friend.
Oh, hell yes.
Okay, 15. Got it.
Still up, but badly damaged.
Right. The guy behind me, how's he looking?
He's looking very good.
He's not looking.
This guy you've been fucking up.
The guy behind you has not been hit.
Right, okay.
I'm going to go ahead and
I put the rapier through kind of angle,
like out of the shoulder, kind of putting him there for a second.
As I kind of kick off his chest to pull it back,
I give you a look of like, little help here.
And I'm gonna go and come forward with the backhand
of the gauntlet and see if you can give an assist from behind.
Great.
I'm gonna go ahead and attack with my bonus action
with the gauntlet.
Advantage on that strike.
I give an assist from behind.
It's a natural 20.
Hell yeah.
Yes.
That was very lucky.
So with that,
All right, okay.
18 plus five.
18 points of bludgeoning damage with the gauntlet.
Having put the rapier through him,
Valas, you just put your shoulder into him
to send him forward as he tries to reflexly go back,
and you put a gauntleted hand into his stomach
so hard that you can feel things,
soft things in his torso bursting,
that immediately kill him.
Just a flood of blood internally as he drives
to the ground, dead.
Little grosser than I was anticipated,
but, oh, damn.
This next one's you.
And I'm gonna go ahead and shift my movement around
and do like a little pirouette dance
around the other standing figure.
Hell yeah.
To give an opening for someone else to close the distance
and be like, I think it's the last one for us, friend.
Get ready.
This guy is going to make a morale check.
Wow, he's confident.
Unbelievable.
You're in here with me.
Looking at all his friends dead and goes,
I got him right where I want him.
And he's gonna take two swings on you.
Does an 18 hit?
An 18 would hit. I'm gonna use my reaction to,
to bring it up to 21.
Incredible.
Unbelievable.
Oh, my, it's more.
Natural 20, under 20.
Unbelievable.
Amazing.
Yeah, all right, so that'll be six and five.
We got 11 plus seven.
18 points of piercing damage on that.
Jesus.
As he goes, instead misses and you,
you're dancing around this guy.
This is someone who uses ill-gotten alchemical horrors
to bring terror and dismay and
butchery to the most beautiful beings in existence.
This is not a trained knight.
And you, put your rapier through his shoulder
and out the back and he is still up.
But that is the end of his turn.
Belaird is your turn.
Quick question.
How bloody does this, how bloody does this person
in a little white cloak up there look?
Undamaged.
Oh, no, no.
Yes, they've taken 11 points of damage
from the original.
Oh, right.
From the original, Hadar, yeah.
And they might be poisoned now because.
At the start of their turn, they have to make the safe.
Yeah.
Ooh, and what do they look like in general?
Like, physicality.
Are they cute?
Yeah, no really.
Over there, the one on the rock?
Yeah. Good call.
I'm picking one.
If you're window shopping, this guy is a little bit more
of your general body type.
Cool. Yeah, great.
You're good, right?
or, that would do.
I'm gonna cast, I'm gonna cast, where did it go?
I have a spell.
I'm gonna cast,
I'm gonna cast, here, put this on.
Mine sliver on the one on top of the rock.
Cool.
As I head over to help my friend with the fire over there.
Hell yeah.
So that's a, mine sliver.
Fails to save.
Fails to save.
All right.
Tell me, it's Kyle.
I love it, it's so much fun.
So that's, uh,
That's seven points of psychic damage.
Hell yeah.
And they have a negative 1D4 to their next save.
Great.
Wow. You walk over.
Glass right in there.
And I'm walking to our friend who's trying to put out the fire.
Yeah, you walk over for him trying to put out the fire.
You look over immediately after you go,
roll a save, can you give me your minus 1D4?
Oh, yes, of course.
Immediately.
Four.
Wow.
Octus, staring at this member of the Creed,
Halifar, Taconas, ancient rivalry
between the two priestly houses,
as you and Sarah might ascend the rock
and this member of the Creed says,
Dead things cannot walk in the...
Skinner uses iron bed.
That's exactly what he did to sweet Teor.
And with iron boots, kicks this,
a creed member in the head.
They go flying 15 feet into the lake
and vanish under the surface of the water.
He turns over and goes,
Gah! You're next!
No, not him.
Ha?
Don't, don't, not don't.
Death!
No, please, I'm here to help.
Please, I'm here to help.
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty.
15, 20.
Shafa is going to descend on this next one,
two misses and a hit.
They make a save, succeed on their save,
but they are at death's door, this last member.
Not worth it.
And then Hawthorne is going to heal you,
Vailis for 11, 18, 18.
25. I would heal you all the way back to the phone.
Oh my gosh.
We are back up.
That Creed member is gone.
We're back at the top of initiative with Cadigan.
There's only one combatant left on the field.
Sweet.
Let's see, I'll use Wolfrick's bonus action movement
to get up next to me.
Oh, yeah.
And then I've kind of got like elevation on this guy.
I'll come out to the edge there and Wolfrick will join me.
will join me, and I will pull one of his relics
from his satchel and knock up a bolt
and take a ranged attack on our guy there.
Hell yeah, go for it.
Great.
You can roll with advantage due to having the height drop on.
Well, thanks for that.
19 plus 7, 26.
Hell yeah.
Great.
Go ahead and roll damage.
8, 7 plus 7, 14 plus a D8 burn.
for that.
Should be another four in burning.
So 14 plus four burning.
Final non-charmed combatant on the field.
Categan Vale, how do you want to do this?
Yeah.
You like to burn the woods, eh?
And then he just knocks up this burning coil
and just throws it and it's not a far throw.
It's close and it just straight through the it,
through the back of his neck and out the front.
It is his head sort of burns and sizzles.
in a slow, nasty way.
He falls.
We'll move right to, I think, Boler coming up
on this last member of the Creed who goes,
The fire!
The fire!
Here, here to help.
What can you do?
What do you know?
I have no spells of water.
Are you a follower of the Creed?
These, these sinful creatures of the wood
who rot like animals here in the dark, lush forests.
Can you heal me?
Yes.
Yeah, I was supposed to say,
I have more compatriots, they will help.
He'll him!
I'm just, sending him off to, yeah.
I'm in, once, well, actually...
You can only give one.
Oh, that's right, never...
Well, this is not a real command right now.
This is just talking.
I'm just, actually, I've got a better idea.
I can give you my power.
Power of the light flows through us all.
Take my mask, and I'm going to,
and I'm going to let, close my eyes
so it looks like it turns off.
Wear it, and you will have power.
You see, he looks down, and you see,
Albed goes, what?
And he goes, and puts the mask on.
Power you have now, bitch.
And with that,
you look at Hawthorne, the tree blazing,
calls out and goes,
Skidah, Shuffa, our little friends, the small ones.
Salo comes up from the water as we exit initiative,
holding the body of Supri, the old fawn, the old sater,
with Rain Blossom, our Mycannid friend,
who unbelievably rolled in Nat 20 on one of his death saves,
comes up out of the water. She says,
into the water, into the water, away from the fire!
And Hawthorne looks at you, Thimble, and says,
Thank you. Thank you to all of you.
And she, while up, her tree dies behind her,
and she goes unconscious.
Oh, no.
As Salo says, the lake! The lake!
And begins to go, looks at it all of you and goes,
as all the fair folk who, some have died,
some of the small folk you see scattered throughout.
There were many here in this place, some of the small folk, others who have already been either burned or trampled by the flames, but this would have been a rout, a massacre, and worse for those that these poachers and members of the creed would have wished to take alive for their own reasons. Instead, you have come to their rescue and saved as many as you could as you rush out into the water.
and that is where we will end
our episodes.
This is the noise you want your players to make.
