Starting point is 00:00:00 Why, hello there, distinguished campaign four listeners. Welcome to Tailgate, our new talkback show hosted by me, Whitney Moore. In this series, we'll sit down with the cast after each table arc and spill the tea together on all things campaign four. Plus, if you're a beacon member, the swore will continue with the nightcap, a beacon exclusive segment where we answer your questions from the Discord chat. Each Tailgate episode is streamed live on beacon.tv, YouTube, and Twitch, and we'll arrive here on the Critical Role podcast network one week later. So if you ever want to join in on the live fun, check us out on one of those platforms. All right, without further ado, let's get this tailgate started. Good evening, everyone, and welcome to a glorious altumnal tailgate.
Starting point is 00:00:45 I'm your host, Whitney Moore, and shit is getting pumpkin spicy on campaign four. Azune was in a theater box brawl. The seekers want to do an underwater, oh, my bush. The seekers want to do an underwater switcharoo with gnome statues? Crazy, actually crazy. And Tysha is nowhere to be seen. Where is she yet? But back at long last, we have Abria Ayangar.
Starting point is 00:01:10 And we also got-Ly-Ly-I-N-Gy-I-N-Gar. I-Y-Y-Y-Gar. Really? Yeah. I just said it wrong my entire life. Abria-I-N-G-G-R. Oh no. I-I-I-N-Gar.
Starting point is 00:01:25 How you doing? All right. We also got Alex and Luis. Yeah, we're fine. Let's open the gate. My husband. I don't care, I can say how I want. Hi everybody, welcome back to Tailgate.
Starting point is 00:01:45 We're having a great time. I'm so excited. Can I just say I'm so excited. This is a new mix that we've gotten. I haven't seen you guys on a tailgate in a minute. And Abria, is this your first? This is my first one by myself. Since, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Yeah. I was using this pillow to hide a baby bump the last time I was here. Yeah, there was, and now the baby bump is on the outside. It's on the outside. I left it at home. Andrea, what class is your baby? Right now, I think it's like a barred monk, deeply unoptimized build.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Yeah, I don't think the babies are optimized in general. They got their bones aren't fused. Their bones are abused. I think we got away from making optimal babies. Look, we're going to optimize that build right around like kindergarten. Listen, I'm not into eugenics. Oh, no. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:02:36 I'm not into that. Can we clip that? I need that. I need that for my eventual lawsuit. All right. Let's talk about the show, shall we? No, I'm not on it. What are my...
Starting point is 00:02:51 Because you miss us. First of all, what's going to happen tonight is that Abria is going to give a brief summary of everything that has happened on the show that's far, taking away Abria. Oh, no. Meanwhile, the seekers, the seekers. Oh, there we go.
Starting point is 00:03:07 They fucking dogs. They fucking dogs. Timony, they're with Gus in a building, sipping juice, touching dogs butts, schemers went to a play. The play was like, sleep no more, except there was murder in it. So it was like, sleep forever no more.
Starting point is 00:03:26 And I think everyone's dead. I think it's just Tysha. You did it such a good job. Thank you. Everybody say thank you, Brie. Thank you, Maria. This is how we send you off to be the only cast member left. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Yeah. I would have to this campaign for two and a half years. I'd watch it. I'd watch eight hours of that, to be honest. It would get so freaky. Okay, also I just wanna say, incredible job to our seekers, great Halloween episode.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Oh, thank you. So good. I will say Alex showed me, I see Echi the Killer after I saw his costume and it's a wild film. It's a wild film. It's a wild film. Content warning, just for everything.
Starting point is 00:04:08 For everything. Everything you probably think of is in that movie. But it's great. Have fun. And it also is treated, I mean, every bad thing is treated with such cartoonishness that it almost like doesn't, I almost doesn't phase me.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Yeah, just like, watch it or don't. Watch it or don't, yeah, yes. Don't call on me. I watched the episode, like my mom was up visiting. And she thought you were Ellen to generate. I want you to know, I almost sent up to the group chat and I went, no, no, wait to say that in person. Yeah, that was really good.
Starting point is 00:04:44 She was so convinced. She's like, why would he, what is Ellen seeking? And I went, you've never been funnier in your life. That is definitely not the first time that Alex has been mistaken for a beautiful lesbian. And it won't be the last. And we love that. No, 100%.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Yeah. I don't think of the other time. And then we get our Schemers Halloween episode this week. I'm very excited about it. At Briah, what would you dress up as for Halloween if you got to do a, if you like that Halloween? Did you like that kind of stuff? Did you like that kind of stuff?
Starting point is 00:05:18 I think I pitched this in like a stupid text to Kyle that the Soldier's Table, I was just going to get like a Stormtrooper helmet and like a bathrobe and like my fucking breast pumps and just be like, Soldier's Table reporting. That's good. ASMR Titty Pump. I love it.
Starting point is 00:05:36 That's going to be my new steam name. AISO Titty Pump. Someone's bought the domain already. That is for sure. sure already a niche. Because we've thought of it, so it is. What are we talking about?
Starting point is 00:05:51 Well, we're talking about dragons. Really good. That's what we're talking about. Because, Louise, now that the draconic sorcerer is out of the lake, so to speak. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. It was so funny during the overture. Like, that got so glazed over.
Starting point is 00:06:07 And then, I think it was like, and a dragon came out of the lake, and we were like, what? Yeah. It was too much happening? It was a lot happened every time? Was it a metaphor? And how many times we had to clarify, like, no, it's not a turro dragon. You didn't see all the times he asked backstage to me when he was like, did the dragon happen? I was like, yeah, I think.
Starting point is 00:06:27 I mean, that just goes to show. There was a lot going on. But let's talk about your character build because now it is out. Now it's out and so am I. That's not news. Wow. Now it is an end. Now is always happening.
Starting point is 00:06:46 All right, yes. All right. What can you tell us about your thought process regarding this mechanical and character choice? Oh my gosh, a real question. All of them. I like the sort of Gish build, sort of like Marshall magic user is fun.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Yeah. Marshall Mathers build? Exactly. And so, you know, then 2024 had a lot of changes in rules. that changed that up. So I was curious about that kind of combination of the weapon mastery with certain cantrip
Starting point is 00:07:23 and how the sorcery quickening certain spells and just that combo. I haven't experimented with that multi-class build and I wanted to say how busted it could be. Yeah, I mean it's really, it's such an interesting and be able to do both. Have you done many, you've done mask of many faces, right? How much can-trip shit?
Starting point is 00:07:46 Alter-self. How much can strip stuff of Yuda? Can strips? Can he strip or can't he strip? He can, maybe, for the right person. Depends. Let me show you my druid craft. That's what she calls her bossy.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Oh my God. Can I say that? I'm sorry, sorry. Bushcraft, but think, I'm put in Bushcraft. I don't know Twitch TOS and that's gonna, and I should read up on it at some point. We're gonna get that.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Well, thank you for that. I actually didn't know That was your build and it's, I'm learning this in real time and that's really cool. Can you turn into a dragon? I cannot turn into a dragon with ultra-self. Yeah, well, not with al-o-self. Are you going to have access to true policy? No, because you're multi-class.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Yeah. I mean, I think eventually depends on how many levels I go on. How I, yeah, how much you put pump into a sorcerer versus the paladin. I mean, so far I've been going mostly sorcerer, so. Cool. We will see. We will see. I have an idea of if I, if I'm into you could get,
Starting point is 00:08:45 like wings and shit for being a draconic sorcerer, which is existing. Yes, no, you can. Oh, you can still. Everybody gets wings in this campaign. I don't know if it's for an hour. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it used to just be like, you got dragon parts.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Yeah. Forever. You get dragon birds forever? There's a two-ling build that gives you wings. Yeah. You can join. There's a variant. Everybody gets wings.
Starting point is 00:09:09 I mean, this is Brennan's bird campaign, and so we all should have wings. Yeah. I guess I gotta figure out how to make wings. Yeah, you can just take some dead shit and stitch it together. Yeah, that's all I, that's what I do. It's just a bunch of things. Thanks for simplifying my whole job.
Starting point is 00:09:23 It is. Alex, you're next on this list. Talk to us about the choice Tim and he gave Octus. How close were you to possibly choosing to become a rival Lord Taconas? That was a wild moment. That was crazy, especially to be in that outfit and given that note. With so much facial hair and being like, no, I mean, Brennan giving me that note was crazy,
Starting point is 00:09:43 because it was written in such a way that was like, like, hey, per our last email, this thing, this conversation you had, if it comes up again, this is the choice you have. This will fundamentally alter the campaign and probably spawn the creation of a new table. And I'm like, oh, that's so much pressure. I don't want to do it.
Starting point is 00:10:03 But also, like, for where Octus is, like that's, for somebody who's terrified of his family, obviously, and it still is and has not dealt with any of that, to be presented the option of becoming a, a rival faction to his father who scares the shit of him. He's like, no, that just means I die. That's what that means. I go, hi, I'm here, and he shoots me with a gun.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Like, that's the whole, that's how that works for him. So it was not something, Octus, I could feasibly, as much as I was like, that's chaotic and I kind of wanna do it as a player, as a character, there was no world he was gonna, way he was gonna do it. And I spawned a scene which I really love where everybody was like, fucking do it in character.
Starting point is 00:10:43 They were like, you should do this. it's a way for us to get at them. And I was like, yeah, but that means I just die and I lose it. Like that only benefits everybody else and not me at all. And your sword, yeah. I mean, it's nice to see Octus with some self-preservation, you know, and have like a drive to survive.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Although I will say, selfishly, I would have also loved to see Octus be like, fuck you, I'm the new, I'm the new guy in town. Oh, I leave this table, I go do a new table where I hang out in timidie for the rest of whenever. and do a bunch of political stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Look, as much as that slaps, yeah,
Starting point is 00:11:19 I like a world in which you go like, hey, I've already died once. Please stop trying to get my family to kill me again and again. And also, there is a world where I can feasibly do something like that later. Yeah, 100%. It's just not now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:36 You gotta be a big boy first. And Alctus is still a little guy. He's still a little guy. But one day he's gonna be a big, He's gonna be a big Tacoma. He's gonna be a real boy. This is a post-poital octus move. Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's got a, yeah, absolutely. He's gotta, he's gotta, he's gonna, sew his oats. He's gotta sew his oats, he's gotta sew wings on pin. He's gotta sew a bunch of shit. Somebody said in the chat sores table once we all get our wings.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Soar good. Love it. That's good. Love it. This question's for me. Hmm. Ha ha ha ha. Go on.
Starting point is 00:12:14 How did the hallowed round fight feel on your end trying to race to Wick's side as he died? Like shit. It sucks. I do want to ask like, what do you? I was crying so hard. What do you think about? I'm not crying like that.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Alex loves to see me crying. I do. It's not just you. I like a lot of people cry. Yeah, it was crazy to just be like, okay, Tyranny is also just like confess that she's so Limerent for WIC and well la la and then it's like Oh I guess he's gonna fucking die and you're not even gonna be there
Starting point is 00:12:56 That's kind of actually sick story wise it's kind of great and so there was a minute where I was like man if he goes That's great for the story it's like it's great fodder for wicks or for tyranny's insanity but um as a player so stressful to just be like, I can't do shit. And also, Sam was in the same position, too. He was like a hold person the entire time. He kept failing those saves. It was a crazy fight, and you guys are still in it.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Right? Yeah. So we get to see more of that fight this week. From there. I'm sure we'll be fine. What was that like for you? For me? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:39 So stressful. Why? I know why? I should care less. Because there's so much, I didn't want, okay, there was one time where I thought he was dead. And immediately I was like, fuck, I could have done this. I could have done this. That's the realest feeling.
Starting point is 00:14:02 And then he wasn't dead, but then I wasn't sure. And so there definitely is a moment where I was less like, I, I, I, I, was. was just like this and it was me replaying like one choice that I made when I could have done something else and I was in between those two. Can you share what you would have done? Yeah, I think that I thought for a second had I instead of casting mirror image
Starting point is 00:14:32 because I wanted to sort of become a meat shield for him. Yeah. I could have just attacked. and maybe could have taken out one of the guys. Yeah. So it was a very cool move though. I love that spell and it was a cool moment. It's a good, it's a, it's,
Starting point is 00:14:51 there's changes in mirror image and the new edition that make it better. Oh. So yeah. All right. Okay, this is a little follow-up that just happens to be right here. What?
Starting point is 00:15:06 What is going through Azunei's mind seeing Wicant Tyrion event? Oh, that's to me, I mean, I remember seeing that unfold, and I'll just say it definitely has left an impact. I don't know if I've ever, if Zune has ever seen whatever they have going on like that. Maybe he has in watching Thimble and Theazi from a distance seeing something sort of like that. But this was like right in his face. And that's definitely leaving a lasting impression on him. Was this also like, this is a brush with the supernatural as well. And you just saw a dragon, but that this is like. Heaven in hell,
Starting point is 00:15:52 let's rock. Yeah. Some guilty gear. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Has he experienced that sort of stuff? No, I don't think he's ever seen anybody like
Starting point is 00:16:06 zap out of reality. Zap out of reality like that. Yeah. and not really know exactly what caused it, but also know that there was something happening between the two of them that had a great deal to do with it. Yeah. So it's been fun to let that sink in
Starting point is 00:16:23 and see how he interprets that. Yeah, yeah, and plus Hollis, so really there's a third. Yeah. Shout out to Hollis Kinneywater. He's the best. I love him so much, and he loves Hal so much. She does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Abria, Tysha is heading to see her face. Family. Yeah. Oh my God, we got a family reunion. What is her relationship like with them at this moment? And who is she closest to and who is she the most distant from? In her family? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Oh, this is fun. So this is weird because we're coming back and I don't want to give away dynamics. That may like appear at the table. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Tisha is really close with her grandmother in the way I've kind of I've seen it, like Tysha's druidic abilities were always the sort of like legacy of the Lois. Like everyone else in the family, everyone smits. Everyone can wield a goddamn anvil.
Starting point is 00:17:23 But like the fact that Tisha like really unlocked her druid abilities like links her with Siva in a way that the rest of her family doesn't really have. So she's always loved and admired and respected and feared her grandma. And the fact that like recently for reasons of undead friends, And she's kind of strayed from the path is one of those, it's one of those weird moments where you're like, oh, I'm about to go talk to the person that I love most, that I've disappointed the most through my like actions that I believe in.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Yeah, yeah, because it's not even like, oh, I'm gonna go get slap on the wrist from grandma because I misbehaved. It's like, oh, I have fundamentally something that I really believe in that goes against everything that my family stands for. And if it was just like, If it was just going to talk to like general group of druids,
Starting point is 00:18:14 it'd be like, fuck you guys, you don't know what you're doing, y'all's like eating your little mushrooms all day. But the fact that she has to like go speak to her grandma as like first and foremost inside of its like twining of the druids, it's gonna be weird. Yeah. Wait, so you are one of the only other lawyers that can tap into druidic abilities, you and your grandma.
Starting point is 00:18:34 And that's pressure maybe? 100%. 100%. Cool, I love that. Yeah. I think that now is a good time to ask you, Abria, will we get to see Tysha again anytime soon on air? No, push in.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Oh, I'm sorry, did you expect me to say anymore? No, next question. Wait, you do. I mean, before the end of the year, certainly. Well, obviously, this was a setup to say, like, yes, we are actually going to go see. Yes. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:19:06 The ball. No, I like what you were doing. Thank you. Thank you. I know you want to take a little fucking sick rate. Don't come to my to come to my tea party where I give you donuts and then be a little contrarian in my house. Yeah. Which kind of do you?
Starting point is 00:19:20 Eat a donut and promote your episode. Hold on. Which one do you want? This one. Okay, I'll take that one. Great. I already touched that. I come back and I do some episodes and it's going to be crazy. She talks about me nonstop, though. The whole time. I'm like, man,
Starting point is 00:19:39 I really want to bang Oz and I saw him once and I just can't get him on my hair. She's obsessed with me. I just want to say his name right. She's seen me more than once. I feel bad. That's the other game. I did the smash pass in the Discord
Starting point is 00:19:52 during the last tailgate and I think I passed on you because I was like, oh, that's my high strong nephew. Sorry about it. We already exercised that tension. I would fuck the shit out of Octus. That's crazy. I'll say that on camera, just in case
Starting point is 00:20:05 you didn't think that was me in the Discord. Smash. Octis, is that you, a Briya? Or, you? Tysha. You draw your own. You draw your own pictures. I'm not an actor.
Starting point is 00:20:17 The veil is nonexistence. I just realized that I have been saying Azune. And I just heard of Ria say Azune. And I remember that you said that no one has pronounced. No one's pronounced it right. Correctly. Yeah. So.
Starting point is 00:20:32 So what is to you? That's Kevin. Say it again. Kevin. Yes, yes. Damn that got, that got, that. I got a true cackle from me. Honestly, I could go home now.
Starting point is 00:20:46 I made Whitney laugh for real. That made me so happy. Is that, all of this is fake. Whitney is AI. Ooh! I grow a third tin. Smashed. It's incredible to get anything done.
Starting point is 00:21:03 It's crazy. You don't have an opinion because I noticed that you have not corrected anyone of, oh, it's Azune or it's Azune because neither are correct. Which I feel of very much part of... Oh, that was so creepy! Stop making my bush move!
Starting point is 00:21:18 I make Bush run from me. You may it slide behind the couch. What was I saying? I feel like it's very in character for... Ahz-Zune. Yes. Kevin. I feel like it's very much in Kevin's character, though, is to not correct somebody and allow them to believe what they want to believe about him.
Starting point is 00:21:38 100%. Yeah, yeah. Will we ever get to learn? I don't know, maybe. No, maybe. We shall see. Doesn't Boler know? He thinks he knows. Damn! That's all Belair is.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Is I think I know. I know. And sometimes he does. He might know. And sometimes he does. Every time I put on my little red light mask, I'm like, Belair.
Starting point is 00:22:04 We need it. Merch. Laura, get on it. A Belair mask that's a red light thing. Yeah, I mean, I would. I would settle for sheet masks, but a red light mask. She masks really good.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Yeah. She masks so badly. I'm like in a Terminal one too. I don't like how far my hand could go into this pillow. Stop, don't touch that. Is this extra crazy? Don't, I touch anything. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:22:30 I feel like I've made the energy here real weird. I haven't been outside in like five months. We're having a, we have fun folks. There's a good, serious question. No-uh. And a Briya. When many people think of Druids, they usually think metal averse. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Not the musical genre, they're very metal. What inspired you to incorporate metal and smithing into Tisha's character? I really liked the dichotomy of the fact that like, yeah, there were things that were prescribed but not like hard and fast rules about like druids in their relationship to metal. And I liked a world in which you have to like figure out how to make it make sense. Like it doesn't make sense the first. So like so much of Tysa's like character ability. was about like what things have to be true
Starting point is 00:23:15 in order for a like Smith-based druid to make sense of the world. It's still rocks. Yeah, it's so, it's rocks. Yeah, it's all stuff that's from the earth. Yeah, yeah. So there. So there.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Suck it. Yeah, you tell them. Thank you. I liked your answer more than mine. It's all rocks. Yep. It's all rocks anyways. It's rocks.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Luis, how is Azunei? handling his snake nest of allegiances with Ein Fawzen and Halovar. Does he think he has a handle on them or is he on the edge of sanity? I think all of the above, there's no time to process. That's true. I think that it's just survival instincts kicking in and you just keep going. You go to your job. Go to your job.
Starting point is 00:24:05 You get shit done. He's committed to the cause. He's committed to the Ozzy's, you know, the ex- echoes of the rebellion. And so, and he believes in him still, in Theazi, and believe that he placed him where he is for a reason. And he is, he needs to be useful. And so he's doing the thing that he has believed,
Starting point is 00:24:31 because it's been instilled in him, is the very thing that keeps him useful. So that's just putting one foot in front of the other and being like, who am I in the presence of right now? What do you need to hear? What do you need to believe? I don't think I've ever seen anyone more in survival mode than Azune. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:49 I mean, that's what happens when you're a plant. Yeah. I mean, it's something that I had somebody come up to me in a line and one of the recent conventions. I think I may have told you about it, Alex. And he was undercover. He infiltrated a Nazi gang. You did not tell me about that. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:25:09 You know. I told somebody. He infiltrated a Nazi gang. And he was like, that's how it feels like when you're in it and you, you, because you cannot be found out. Yeah. Otherwise, you're dead. Yeah. So if there is a panic or wavering, it can only happen when you're alone or when you, when you're with someone that you feel some sort of safety with. Yeah. Because you're gonna die. I hope that we get to let loose have a little night on the town and just have be little silly billies together one day. Remember when we talked about that last time? I know. And then shit went so bad. We got so close. We got so close.
Starting point is 00:25:45 We got so close. We will. I want to see Azzanay have a crisis of faith. Because I feel like so much of this is built up on the like, the Ozzy was right, fundamentally acting in mine and the like greater goods best interests. So I'm going to follow through on what I think he wants. I think the moment you doubt that even a little bit. So many things start to shake loose.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Oh, yeah. We shall see, maybe. Is it a Zune? Esune? It's a Zoon. A Zoon? Is it Zoon? Just like the Zoom player?
Starting point is 00:26:18 Yeah. Listen, listen. Zoon player by Microsoft. Hold on to my bush. Before we go on you further, we need to pause for a moment because it's time for Noteworthy Notables where we celebrate some brilliant works
Starting point is 00:26:29 of those within the Critter community. That's you. We have four incredible pieces to get through tonight's. Let's get into it, get your donuts, and let's look at some art. Our first Noteworthy. notable comes tonight from Brim Art on Tumblr. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Ooh. Oh, yeah. I fucking love this piece. It's so cool. The like iridescence. What is that? What is that? This is coffee cake?
Starting point is 00:26:57 It's like a goo. That's great. It's like a eardescent. What is it? What is it? I described the snake at first with an oil slick because in my mind, all of Tisha's like wild shapes are mythical creatures,
Starting point is 00:27:11 and it's the snake that they used to describe the river that goes through Dolmachiar when, like, when all the like wartime stuff was picking up for Oskra, it would just be covered in this, like, slick of, like, runoff.
Starting point is 00:27:24 And so it was described as, like, Osgra's snake. I love it. But this is just hot. That's a snake that eats a lux. Yeah. I like that. It's like more metal pouring over the scene.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Yeah, right? Yeah. I love, I mean, the lighting in it is so beautiful. Great, great. And there's titties under there. Under that snake? There's tiddies. Hey, and that's the most important.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Under there. Next up, this one is from Danielle Wearis. Oh, I love this. For Words. Let's see it. Oh, yeah, baby. There's been such good Octus art, man. So many skeletons.
Starting point is 00:27:56 You must be so happy about that as a guy who's spooky. Yeah, it's all I care about. They love Oxygen. The only reason I like anybody is because there's a skeleton inside of them. That's all Alex talks about. Skeleton, skeleton, skeletons.
Starting point is 00:28:09 How do you know for sure? Oh. That was a great cut tall. There's getting undressed, someone undressing you with their eyes, and then there's someone ripping your flesh and guesses on. He's looking at the bones beneath. The fan fiction writes itself, though. The bones lie beneath.
Starting point is 00:28:27 There's about to be one. Our third noteworthy notable is from High Hail Simon. At Icenae on Tumblr. Wow, that's an angry boy. Look at him. He's so passionate. Look at him. I saw a great meme that was about how unsettling
Starting point is 00:28:45 Gazude's eyes must be because you have such beautiful, big brown eyes and thinking about like how scary and piercing, like light sunset eyes would be from a guy like that, a warrior. He's probably very unsettling. He just looked like. He looks like that there. Orriners. You look like arcane Jonathan Rees-Myers.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Yeah. Just that level of blue eye. you're like, I don't like that. It looks like a husky, turned into a human. Oh. That's a Zune when he was like, I was gonna party with tyranny and now I have to fight again.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I was gonna get whimsical for one moment. And our fourth and final noteworthy notable tonight is from Ollie at Shadowgast. Yes. Oh, yeah, I saw this one. It's so good. It's so anime. I love it. It's very- But it's also like Renaissance. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:35 It's like Divine Comedy sort of, It's beautiful. Man, what a crazy moment. Really, really nuts. I'm in there, too, guys. I'm holding him. He's holding you. He's holding you.
Starting point is 00:29:48 It is. I kind of see myself in the middle. We're a thruple now. And also Hollis is there. Oh, you're right. Hollis is there. I'm just off screen. We're a full poli-cule.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Wow. I love that art. There's been so, so much good art at this campaign, you guys. And if you would like your fan art or cosplay featured on Noteworthy, notables, go check out critical role.com slash submit. Submit to me.
Starting point is 00:30:13 All right. You said it so casual. Submit to me. I say it every time. Alex, this question's for you. Shit. Octus confronted the seekers about none of them feeling like his friend outside of Thimble.
Starting point is 00:30:25 What has that alienation done to Octus's spirit? People currently at the table. You're not at my table. Yeah, currently. And did his time with his real friend Demidus help? I will also add, do you think I think that Octus's sort of isolation is changing his view on WIC at all.
Starting point is 00:30:44 So interesting. Yeah, I mean, because basically there's kind of what I was alluded to earlier is the whole thing where I was offered this position as the new Lord Taconas. And everyone went, yeah, do that. And I was like, and none of them thought, hey, what's good for you? They were thinking what's good for the situation
Starting point is 00:30:59 or me or whatever this. And also it's been very, you know, he's still having a really rough time with Vailas's decision to smash this time. of the Night Song, which could have unmade him. Yeah. And she did it without a second thought. Yeah. And Julian is a constant antagonist for Octus, even though they do get into situations where they have to help each other.
Starting point is 00:31:21 You like it. It is a situation where this is still a man who's trying to kill his entire family, which is a complicated thing for him. And also, he does not have any promise that Julian will not also just try and kill him after it's done. True. And- The title's to go down. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:37 He's starting to kind of understand, I think, Cadigan a little bit, but Cadigan is still, you know, still a little of an unknown to him. And Thimble is the only other one at the table, plus he's dead, thank you, Liam. Plus he's dead, correct. Oh, you get to us. Hi, it's Liam!
Starting point is 00:31:56 A Liam of his own. A Liam of his own. And, but, but having Thimble at the table with him is really putting into contrast of like, oh, no, I do, I have a friend and it's none of you. Yeah. It's this person. Yeah. And my only other actual friend is Tisha, who was gone. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:32:16 And then seeing Demetus again, who he is somebody who, like, he knew during school and was sort of like an upperclassman, weird, not really, kind of a mentor, but not really someone who got into trouble. And I was your RA. Yeah, he was my RA. And it was just like, I, okay, I know you, but you're nice, but like, you do a lot of chaotic things
Starting point is 00:32:35 and it freaks me out. Like, it's like, yeah. So to see him again and then to be in a very different position now and to have more self-confidence in himself than he did when he was in the pentheral Opened up this kind of like oh, I feel more on even footing with you than I used to and now we can actually have a conversation and talk about magic which is really all like does everyone's to do so It's a special interest. He is yeah You do presenting your familiars was so cute real real cute. I loved it so much. I like actually talking through the process with Brennan of of two wizards exchanging spells and writing them in their spellbook.
Starting point is 00:33:09 And actually role-playing that process out is very cool. Yeah. Well, I'm very excited for an eventual and hopeful, because it hasn't happened yet, meeting up of you and WIC again, because you guys have so many parallels with your family now. Stop trying to make us like WIC tyranny. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:33:26 We have them now, but Octus doesn't know we have them. Yeah, yeah, he doesn't. I don't know nothing about what's happened to WIC. Fuck that guy, fuck that little rich boy. Yeah, all he is is one of, he's another son of the sundered house, and he had everything that I didn't have growing up. Yeah. And his family, to my perspective, because I don't know any of this has happened with his family.
Starting point is 00:33:47 As far as I last saw him, he's in his family's good graces and working with them and having a fine time. Yeah. So, like, I'm just like, yeah, fuck that guy a little bit. That sucks. But I don't hate him. And he also sits with my father, which is a whole thing, and I don't wish that upon anybody. Yeah. And so I was truly being like, I'm sorry, that is rough, like the situation you went through,
Starting point is 00:34:08 which is why I gave him that shield glyph. Yeah, yeah. I'm very excited to see how that develops. I'm looking forward to a wictus fan art. Walk, o'clock. Commit to walkdis. Walkdis. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Why not? Wachtis. Wachtis. It's a, it's a roll left tongue. Here's a question for me. Is Tierney Compton? walking into the pit that Sulraxhi will come through on her ability to help her. Well, I'll tell you what.
Starting point is 00:34:39 She was very confident that Solrexhi had her best interests in mind until Murray was like, so you just believed her? And she was like, you got to go to the place where your dad is, like, telling you to go. And what is going to happen then? And not only Tierney, but also Me Whitney was like, huh. I guess I should have asked more follow-up questions. But I think that I should just trust this character. And that is kind of true for Tyranny too.
Starting point is 00:35:07 She's like, anyone who is nice to me, I trust. Like, at this point, she's very easily manipulated. Also same. And I think that she, I mean, to answer the question, yes, I think that tyranny is like she'll come through somehow. And also, like, what the fuck else is she gonna do? She has no option, she's up against the wall. And her crime.
Starting point is 00:35:33 crush just followed her into hell, so kind of cute. Kind of cute. Okay, Abria, what does it mean to Tysha to wear Shea's blade at her side as she leaves Del Marquisar for Dolrrungia? Ooh, man, it's, there's so much cool, like, lore. I don't know how much has been revealed by Brennan about, like, the final stand of, like, the orcs against Osgra. But the fact that, like, Shea was there
Starting point is 00:36:05 visibly pregnant. Her husband was wielding the blade. He fell. She picked it up and finished the fight. It's just so cool. And also, Brandon did say that to me while I was pregnant. I went, I've imprinted on this moment in a really, real
Starting point is 00:36:21 way. She's so big. What happened? Sorry. The whole screen got weird. It was a lot. Yeah. It was going to be in two men staring at each other closely. Which is all I want from this show.
Starting point is 00:36:33 But yeah, I think Shea's story means the world to Tysha. And that blades specifically, because there's seven pria blades, that one means the most to her. So I think it's her little reminder of what her family's done and what her people have done. And like that little impetus to keep moving forward and keep acting and not like resting on your laurels. Yeah. The fight's not over. There's just a new fight. Who doesn't love a little impetus?
Starting point is 00:36:58 A little impetus. Just a little. Just a little. Just a little. I got a question for, let's see, I've gone all out of order. Luis, what did Azune take away from his experience in Boler's Theater? I loved that episode song. That was crazy.
Starting point is 00:37:14 It was so psychedelic. Oh, my God. Oh, okay. So, man, not what I hoped. Hold on, what were you hoping? Well, I mean, no, no, no, no. For me, like, because he's not capable of processing shit. Who?
Starting point is 00:37:30 Azune. Oh. Not you. I was trying to say. So, no, I think, I don't think he, he went into there, with an agenda. He went into that understanding, again, on an assignment, trying to make, make something happen. And so I recognize Boler's sort of handing him introspection and, and all kinds of things. And I don't think he is capable of making sense out of that the way that I could. You know what I mean? Like, he has a very specific
Starting point is 00:38:03 arrested development that I am regularly reminding myself of. Yeah, yeah. He's got, like, he does not process, he does not have the same kind of emotional intelligence unless it's being beckoned from him to manipulate somebody. Oh, that's so dangerous. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Yeah. But for him, like, in terms of, it's not that he's completely unaware of himself. He knows certain parts of himself really well. But for him to go into Bel Air's mind and approach it with a kind of self-reflective, introspective curiosity and be willing to listen to the potential wisdom of somebody that's offering him something of value, that's not the kind of person he is. He's still trying to get the job done.
Starting point is 00:38:45 And he went in there wanting to recreate understanding enough of what he thought Belair could maybe do in that. And he went in there wanting to replay. some memories thinking that Boler could access them and could help him figure some shit out. Yeah. I love that you walked in there and you're like, this is now my holodeck. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:07 Doing therapy in here. Otherwise, why my, there's no, the clock is ticking and this is an opportunity that he understands he's never gonna have again. How do you make the most of it and try to again, like help get this to help you get whatever job done, achieve whatever goal you have.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Yeah. Hey guys. We haven't figured it out. Ausei is by far the scariest character in this day. 100%. We gotta worry about this boy a little more. Yeah, this is a problem. I mean.
Starting point is 00:39:38 Well, well, there's the next question. No, no, no, this is, I want to chew on this a little bit. What would it take for Zunei to betray his comrades? Sir? It. 20 bucks. I don't think he has it in him to be a traitor. I don't think he has it in him to be a traitor.
Starting point is 00:40:05 But one of the first things he said to how is in this type of thing that we're doing, sacrifices will be made. And he began this entire thing willing to be a sacrifice. He was going to help get help theazi escape knowing full well in his belief. that that would implicate him, and that would very well mean the end of him. But if that's what it takes to save this man who's leading a revolution still, in his opinion, then so be it. Sometimes there's some sacrifices that are worth the sacrifice.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Yeah. And I don't think that he would be a traitor. I don't think he has it in him to betray his allies, but I think he has it in him to weigh the pros and cons of whatever might be an appropriate sacrifice, if that's what it takes. Terrifying answer. Thank you. Yeah. Scally.
Starting point is 00:40:59 It's a scary. I just love learning little things like this because it makes me as a player want to go in and be like, I want to accidentally offer you a hilt of like, here's a little dagger. Uh-oh. What if I'm in the right place at the right time and just create a perfect little opportunity where you toss me in the fire to make the room a little warmer and see what you do. Ooh. I don't want that. I want everybody to be nice. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Like we do this. No, the shit. No! It's just we finally have less sexual tension, which is nice. Yeah. For once. For once. Is it nice?
Starting point is 00:41:33 We could bring it back. I think I called you my nephew. I was just wondering how we could, to be honest, but it was just me. It's not appropriate for- This part of what's incredible about these games, and I think more people should do it, is to give your other players at the table a way to fuck you over.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Yes. It's so fun. Build that in and just give them the option. If they pick up on it, great. If they don't, fine. Yeah. But just give him that little hint of like, you could really fuck me over here.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Yep. Yeah. Yes. Offer a gift Hilt first where you're like, don't stab me with this knife I'm offering you. Yes. I don't like that. I want us to all go shopping.
Starting point is 00:42:07 I want that for once. For once. For once. For once. Let's go to the spa. Someone text Brendan. Tell him, let us go shopping. Alex.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Octus said that he wanted freedom. And it was a really beautiful moment when I feel like he had to really define the words of like what I've been in survival mode and like what do I actually want. So what does being free mean to Octus? And also how badly does you want to kiss Thimble? Freedom to Octus means nobody. He is given the time and the fucking, what's the word I'm looking for? Just the time and space to do what he wants to, which is study magic and learn things and continue creating what he has become
Starting point is 00:42:59 and is becoming and working on this new version of himself and given the time to do that and the room in which to do it and to stop having people be like, you know what you need to do is this. And he's like, I don't know, I don't want to, I don't want to do anything. That's not what he wants to, he wants to be Wizard-Octus,
Starting point is 00:43:15 he doesn't want to be Lord Taconas. Yeah. That's what the whole conversation ended up being. Second part of that question, And also little mode or big mode? Oh, I'm sorry. Big thumble? Big thumble?
Starting point is 00:43:26 So, well. Wow. So here's the thing. I mean, yeah, like 100% wants to. Yeah. Bigger little, bigger little. Both. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:43:39 With you bigger. You can put her in your chest cavity. Yeah. There's a whole, you can't prove this is Vorgory. Yeah. What's the plan with little family? No, so here's the thing. When she became big,
Starting point is 00:43:54 that was like a, you know, he'd always been, his friend, his little fairy friend, and it was never like this, and then he saw her as a being that is big, as a woman, being this, and just was like, oh my God, this was never something he anticipated happening. Yeah. But also just like, he's not emotionally mature.
Starting point is 00:44:17 You know, he's got a childhood crush on Thimble. Yeah. That's where it is. It feels very innocent. Yes. It feels very pure. Yeah. Until, you know, wherever the story goes, whatever happens, that's where it is right now for Octus is.
Starting point is 00:44:31 It's very much like, I have a crush on this girl that I see in the playground is what it is. That's very much where his brain is with that. Yeah. And we'll keep it that way. Yeah. We're never going to do anything. Never. Pure crushes only.
Starting point is 00:44:45 You're never going to. But also, like, like, it's all. But also, like, to go back to the freedom thing, he is very much in, like, he wants to explore everything he's doing with no judgment from anyone around him. Nope, that's not going to happen. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:45:00 You do nasty shit. Which is what the freedom to him means is that, like, no one gets to peek in at what he's doing in his weird science experiments. Like, that's what he wants. And so everybody keeps going, like, that thing you're doing is bad. He's like, but it's cool, don't you understand? Like, he can't, he's not thinking it's bad.
Starting point is 00:45:15 He's like, but I did it, though. Yeah, yeah. And that's the important thing to him, that he figured it out. Yeah, yeah, he arrived at the thought by himself and then made it happen out of legitimately thin air. Yeah. Oh, he's grown.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Our boys growing up to a monster. Oh my God, it's a question for me about metal. Fuck, yeah, wrote these. As a metal head, what do you think of the pits aesthetic? Fucking sick. It's actually crazy. The first time I was like, oh, Brennan, bars when it comes to writing death metal lines was describing what had happened with Julian's dad.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Oh yeah. And I was like, this is a fucking skeleton witch lyric. Yeah. Like this is, it's so, and also the voices too. I'm like, you could. Oh my God. That reminds me. Travis got me so fucking good in Iowa because he does really good.
Starting point is 00:46:07 I was like, you could do a really good like death metal growl. And he was like, I was in a metal band in college. What did he call? He was like, it was called like piss nuts. And I was like, oh, that's sick. True? No, he fucks with me so much, and I believe him every single time.
Starting point is 00:46:22 He kept it going for a while, it was great. It was very funny. And I will, I will, I will always, I'll always believe my friends, because what a beautiful life to be tricked in good humor, rather than assume your friends are lying to you all the time. No, no. Um.
Starting point is 00:46:39 No, no. Are there any songs from the recent playlist that you'd want tyranny head banging into with chained angels? Okay, cool. I only put, that Megan tongue just, I only put kind of two metal songs on the tyranny playlist because she's,
Starting point is 00:46:56 she's from the pit and I'm a metalhead, but she's like a girly pop, you know, like love song girl. But I had to include Hell Ripper. I'll hail the goat because it is, goats. Goats. And also that song rips. And King Woman, which it has a beautiful,
Starting point is 00:47:13 like eight minute long doom metal song about devotion as it pertains to religion. This fucking allegory writes itself. And, but you know what? Not from the playlist. I feel like she go bumps him have a cruno down there and it would be, look them up. It'd be great.
Starting point is 00:47:33 She'd have a great time. Brennan did such a good job making it all of the things that I like and also continues to just make the demons of this story insane and cool and sew metal and it's just such a delight anytime I get to like, he's, oh, dude, So Rexy, here's what I'll say,
Starting point is 00:47:53 because we haven't, we haven't been really proper to the, we haven't had like pit time yet. And Sorexhi had better stick around. Like she, I had to kill her. So she'd better come back for me because I want her more as an NPC. I want her as my friend and I want her as merch also. I want a meet her.
Starting point is 00:48:10 I want it's all, I want it all- Rugg. Wait, that's great. You can all buy that pin-plice. pin plush that I worked so hard on. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:19 I did nothing, everybody else did the amazing. Little pinjiment. Okay, little pinjuman. You all been yelling at me about it forever. Louise, what did a zoo? Oh, no, I already asked you that. Okay. Abria, what can you tease about Tysha's journey
Starting point is 00:48:33 in the upcoming soldiers arc? What can you tease about Tysha's journey? What can you tease about Tysha's journey? It got so Irish, I thought it was back at the table of the rest. Can you tease about Tisha's journey? Are you still here? Liam, help, I'm Irish. Look, my natural tendency when I have questions like this
Starting point is 00:48:55 is to lie my ass off, but what I will say, yeah, I was like, I never want to tell the truth. I was gonna be like, it's me and Braden for eight hours straight by herself. There's guests. And it's really cool, and it's really fun. And it, like, the thing I will tease is that I had, many months to think about what that meeting would be
Starting point is 00:49:19 and the fact that there's so much more to this, get your bush off of me. Stop touching my bush. Everyone on this set is destroying my bush. You heard it here folks. We're so casual about it. Bush destroyers. Stop!
Starting point is 00:49:38 Don't touch anything. Touching your flower. Touching your flower. I don't like that. I don't like that at all. This is why this has to say, All crushes. It's way till nightcap.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Yeah. Wait till nightcow to touch my book. It's a lot of cooler than expected. And the way Brennan pate stole Rania, I almost left the campaign several times. It's like, no, Tysha stays. Stays. I think he hates Stolranya.
Starting point is 00:50:03 Huh? He hates. Paints, I guess. The way he hates this thing he made. The way he hates. I loved the way you hate. I watched some of the soldiers' arc. brag much.
Starting point is 00:50:16 We get to watch the episodes. Some of us. Okay. It's in the question. Okay, okay. Well, that's all. I just wanted to brag. That's all.
Starting point is 00:50:28 I saw it. It's actually really fun to watch the production, like, feeds of the, like, that's what I, maternity leave was me with a tiny human just watching y'all. And it was really fun. It's so cool.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Yeah, I've said this. I said this on the fireside chat, but, like, I'm jamming on my crime. while we watch the other tables. And it's the critters who are working on the art while they watch, it's a very smart, smart thing to do. See, you craft, I just pollute the production feed with my stupid little thoughts while everyone else is doing work.
Starting point is 00:51:05 But then we get to catch up on it and it's so fun. And it's nice to them. Weird shit somewhere else, I'm just thinking, I'm like, what is it? Yeah. It's also like, I mean, I'm gonna say, we don't get the luxury of being live anymore. And so just knowing that someone is watching
Starting point is 00:51:18 and like react. is so nice. So please keep doing that. 100%. Okay, Alex, how has Octus enjoyed traveling with Thimble? Has their friendship changed in seeing her more in action? Yeah, well, how buff she is and her big muscles. Muscles.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Yeah, well, I think there was a time because they only spent so, every so often together, because she was off with the Aussie and doing things, and he would see her at very, you know, pivotal points in his life, but it was kind of like, oh, this really cool, woman shows up and is friends with me, but like, yeah, I have a best friend she lives in Canada kind of situation. Where it was very much like he had this friend, but then would he, like, I have a best friend
Starting point is 00:52:00 who's a fairy and everybody's like, shut the fuck out. It's like, so to actually be traveling with her and spending this much time with her has been wonderful for him, but also it's confirmed all his suspicions and thoughts about her just being fucking incredible. Yeah. And doing everything. And like, to a weird part of his brain, she's doing everything like the right way,
Starting point is 00:52:24 and he's figuring out how to do it the way he can. And so he sees her accomplish things and goes, that's incredible, that's the way you're supposed to be a hero. That's the way you're supposed to do these things. That's the way you're supposed to fix problems. And he's like, and I have to do it this way, but I'm going to get there. That's so sweet.
Starting point is 00:52:45 She's like a role model, too. I love a little. You'll notice that when I'm hanging out with her and we're doing things, he will say shit that's wildly out of pocket and weird and puts him in a bad situation because he's just like being with his friend and gets excited.
Starting point is 00:53:00 And then he'll just blurt out something go, oh, oh no, I said that. Octus is so like scrawny and weak and Thimble is so buff. I want to see fan art of Thimble in big mode just fucking like. Just like carrying him, just like a baby. There's been some other she's picking me up.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Really? Send it. Send it. Also, there is a thing of like, Thimble is so good and kind of dangerous for Octus because she doesn't have the moral code to like, be like, hey, maybe don't do that? She's like, that's incredible, you did that thing. The fact that you can both be excited
Starting point is 00:53:40 and spin each other up is like, there needs to be an adult in the room. Yeah, there's no adult room, but it's just the two of us. We are both children doing like, doing like, like we're adults and it's fine, and like all the things, but like. For cosplay and fanfic purposes.
Starting point is 00:53:53 They're both legal adults. They're both legal adults. But we just have that innocent sort of like play aspect where we're not thinking about the consequences of what we're. Yeah, yeah. It's sweet. You just said something that made me feel so tender, which is that Fimble, who has been in this,
Starting point is 00:54:12 you know, revenge arc for so long and also been in survival mode and really like, you know, taking all the hits. This is an opportunity when you guys get together where she gets to sort of like remember that she can have fun and remember to be like a little bit of a child again, and that's very sweet. Yeah, I love that.
Starting point is 00:54:33 There's this, we are both trying to be sweet to each other while completely ignoring the ramifications of our actions. Great. This is the sweetest way to be sweet. Yeah, who needs them? And then, I have to be sweet. I have my side piece Gaia just looking over my shoulder being like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:54:49 Side piece Gaia is important as a phrase. Dude. Luis. Yes. I was processing this undead thing you've raised. That is your side. I love Gaia. Azune's new axe.
Starting point is 00:55:05 It made me the coolest thing in the world, and I love it so much. Was immediately recognized by Herondis. Wait, who was? Azune's new axe. By heron. Oh, yeah. The love axe?
Starting point is 00:55:14 The love axe. That was such a funny moment. Was there, oh, is he worried about this being a smoking gun and his lies and his web? Oh, what tangled web we weave when first we practiced to deceive? Joe, yes. Just bang, Ingrid, you're fine. Yeah, I don't think he, you know, he didn't know what that axe was when Julian gave it to him. Yeah, Julian didn't say.
Starting point is 00:55:37 And so I was like, well, it's. Julian didn't give a pro. Yeah, I know, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I think that he's absolutely worried. That is one of the things that he's worried about among many things. Amongst many things. It's on his list.
Starting point is 00:55:54 It's on his list of things to stress that about. Yeah, man. I think he's also sort of like, man, well, that's not the problem right now, right in front of me. So I'm not thinking about it right now. But it's on the back of his mind. It's on his back. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:10 Yeah. Well, if we've learned anything about Brennan is that he never lets things bite us in the ass later. He never does. Consequence. He never sits on things for a long time and is like, hey, remember when you killed those mercenods? Kill yourself. Kill yourself. You have to kill yourself now. I hope you guys are learning, which is when Brennan offers you something, you're like, neat.
Starting point is 00:56:32 That's your first red flag. Never. Like, oh, this act seems really cool. Yeah. Be worried. Brennan asked me, he's like, we were, you know, back, I don't know, we were like not during break or before we were starting.
Starting point is 00:56:46 He's like, do you think he has the axe on him? And I was like, I know, I know where you're going. And because you asked me that, the answer is yes, yes. Yeah, because you asked me that. Way to, yeah. Yes, exactly. Yes, correct. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:59 Way to not escape, because that was a very funny moment. Also, the gator being so wrong. I have a beautiful. Yeah, there's a lot. That was unintentional. You know, sometimes you discover things about the character you're playing. I discovered that Azune's got no gator.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Also, to a certain degree, all of us, when we're dealing with these situations and doing these things, in the moment, sometimes you just say the thing that's funny and make it work for your character after you've said it. You have to trust your subconscious. It's working for you, it's on your side. Even when you think it's making a mistake,
Starting point is 00:57:37 It's absolutely never making a mistake. There's no such thing. Yeah, you just have to use support you to. I love you. That's such a, what'd you say? You wanted to be by yourself on the big couch. I like the big cows.
Starting point is 00:57:50 We should come over here. You can get all together. You could fully stretch out if you wanted. You can man spread as much as you need. You can stand behind us and learn therapy time. There we go. Like it's the other show. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:58:01 See, everybody is getting nice relaxed because it's almost I capped him. You don't look relaxed. Put in my feet. No, I don't. Don't put your feet in my bunch. No. That's for the nightcap.
Starting point is 00:58:11 I read these out of order and I've got two questions for me, so I'm gonna answer them both real quick. That's not how he lays. Yeah, he sleeps like this. I watch you every day. He sleeps upside down. You too? Yeah. Nice.
Starting point is 00:58:25 That's me under the bed. Oh, sweet. I'm right outside the window. That's me in the corner. I like a breeze. Watching you kiss her. Oh. Robin? Sorry.
Starting point is 00:58:34 Answer your question. A question. Whitney. Was there ever a world where tyranny might have gone through with her father's original plan of destroying herself to return to the pit? And when Wick broke his contract with tyranny, did you worry at all that that may cause her to lose her power as a la Valles, rejecting her goddess? Great questions.
Starting point is 00:58:55 I think that tyranny would have sooner gone on the run than kill herself. But also, I think that she's all impulse and is not a real. Very funny for her to be at the schemer's table. I'll tell you that much because she is acting immediately on her impulses, and I think she would have gotten scared and run away. But I don't know. Like, I think it was a beautiful boon, the little gift that Brennan had for me, the Solrexia in a bottle.
Starting point is 00:59:28 And she has been such a good friend that has been like, hey, you can not do that, you know. She doesn't know what she can or can't do, much like me playing D&D sometimes. That's so good, though. It's so, yeah, it makes all of your choices so cool. Yeah. And it makes the, like, open-heartedness
Starting point is 00:59:48 that you've led with tyranny so sincere because you're like, I've existed for six months. I am newer to the game, actually. And anybody here who has been playing for a very long time. I always say, play to your weaknesses. She says it all the time. It's weird. Shut that down.
Starting point is 01:00:07 No, I was not worried that I would lose my powers because that would be a crazy thing for Brendan to just drop on me is like you have no powers anymore. But we'll see. I mean, we're gonna meet dad. I get to introduce Wick to my daddy. That's crazy. That's usually like a couple months into dating.
Starting point is 01:00:27 I don't know. You've known him for six months. Yeah, I'm getting this. That brings us to the end of our time here at Tailgate. Oh, what? That was so fast. Oh, don't you worry. We're not done yet.
