I'm honored to be your guide on this 365-day devotional adventure. December 4. Patience. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting to be. anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Starting point is 00:00:48 2. Peter 3.9. We have instant everything. The internet is answering questions, giving us directions, and so much more. We can talk our FaceTime people on the other side of the globe in real time. An ATM will dispense cash from our bank at any time of day or night. There is an instant pot to cook in, a microwave and fast food for instant dinners. Amazon has opened it up an instant shopping mall. And somehow, we wait for three minutes at the post office and were agitated because of the delay. We've all heard the line. Well, I wished for patience and look what happened.
Starting point is 00:01:36 The inference is that lots of long-suffering problems ensued. God's timing is different than ours. Take time with others, slow down, and look around you. Meditate on God's word. Your heart will listen better. your attitude will improve and your problems will not deter you from happiness is your life hectic can you think of ways or times you can pause and slow your heart and soul do you think you could benefit from this as we say goodbye may the grace of the divine surround you and may the daily strength found in his word guide you in every step this is not the end but a beautiful pause in our shared journey farewell dear sister Sisters, until we meet again, may your days be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.
