DAILY STRENGHT FOR WOMEN ''Spirit of Power'' (NOVEMBER 26, 2023)

Welcome beloved listeners to a journey of daily strength, faith, and empowerment. This is daily strength for women, your companion on the path to spiritual resilience. I'm honored to be your guide on this 365 day devotional adventure. November 26th, Spirit of Power God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1-7 Timothy had served alongside Paul for quite a while An I-Corps 1610 suggests that he may have preferred to work that way since he was struggling with fear and being intimidated.

Here Paul, the outspoken and gregarious leader, wrote to Timothy to remind him that it is God who puts a spirit of power and self-control in him. He has nothing to fear since he is engaged in the Lord's work. We are given a spirit of power, love, and self-control, so we need not fear when God calls us to a specific work. We can rely on him to help us stand and do exactly what he wants us to. When we are intimidated or want to hide in the shadows, we can be reminded that it is God who works in and through us.

We don't have a spirit of fear. fear because the Spirit of God lives in us and that fills us with power and self-control. What intimidates you? Has God asked you to step up or speak up?
