What's the story? Are you not happy or you're only half happy or?
Instead of it be happy about.
You're up too old.
Job's not finished.
Job finished?
I don't think so.
I'm not finished yet.
Yes, you are.
Why not?
Get back to fucking work.
It's time to get back to work.
Stop hearing yourself talk.
Cut out all the fucking noise.
Get back to the fucking mental lab.
Because that's where the knowledge came from.
From everything that life threw at you,
Who could you become?
I learned that you get back up.
It's just got to be a habit of getting up.
You get up and you're going to find some shit that you could do something with.
If you quit now, you're not only cheating on yourself,
but you're robbing, robbing every man in this room of what he's worked for.
We're going to be jarred by circumstances.
We're going to be messed up.
We're going to slip.
What matters is that you get back up.
You stick to it.
You always come back home to it.
It's time to hit back.
Life knocked you in the mouth years ago.
and you haven't hit back yet.
You hit back with determination.
You hit back with focus.
You hit back when you listen.
You hit back when you obey what is right.
You hit back when you are disciplined.
You hit back with resilience.
Get in the ring and hit back.
Life has hit you too many times.
It's time to get up and hit back.
This is your time.
All right?
Good day.
All right.
You fucking get out there.
You get all the shit that you've been through all that fucking hang.
All this shit that we've been going through over the fucking years.
You put it in that ring right now.
This is yours.
This is fucking yours.
Sometimes you have to let other people's dreams for your life die for years to live.
And for me, it was like when I continue to every day not want to wake up, that was my wake-up call.
Where I was like either I continue to live this way and not want to be alive.
Or I just risked the fact that I'll die to everybody else.
And I think that that, like, it was the hardest this year in my entire life.
Now I have a chance to fight for something.
I want a fight for something.
I want that.
That's all I want.
This person, this competition, is actually bringing up the best in me.
Like, oh, I have more. I have more to give.
And come to swear to lose.
What are you going to do?
How bad do you want it?
There's two options to continue forward, pushing upward.
And if you do, that dream is given birth.
And forever, you will live in the reality of it.
If you stop, quit, throw in the towel.
I promise you there's no distance you can travel far enough or find that dream again.
for it's dead
and in its death
is replaced by regret
right now
it's your choice
I've never feared any man
in my life
we don't back down from anyone
and that's what got me in trouble
I don't play games
I don't kiss anyone's ass
and I'm a real man
and if I die I want to die man
what I am when I step on that
court is I become that
I am
I am that killer snake
I'm stone cold man
this is what I've chosen
why do I give up my life
purpose so do or die
and it's not a gloomy thing
I'm just gonna make it happen
the other strength I had was that
for me it was do or die
where other people kind of
called it quits and threw in the towel
I didn't have the choice
the fear didn't just drop off
and let me just sit down for a bit
so I could go and go and go
I consider myself a do or die.
Someone that has the fortitude, the work ethic, and the grit to turn all their passions into reality.
By seeing it, believing it, planning it, and doing it.
I'm just saying that when the mind and the body connect and you don't give yourself a way out,
the only way out for me at that time was death.
I'm going to be a Navy SEAL.
Or I'm going to die.
Or I'm going to die trying.
It's the moment you realize.
everything in your life has come to a point where you can either stay where you are or you can pick up your
bags, you can build the courage to move that inch. To move that inch in order to build even just the
slightest bit of momentum. It's the time in your life where it's do or die. But the responsibility
is supposed to be yours. And if you can't do it, you scratch, claw and even die, trie.
The hustler is going to outwork.
everybody in the room. The hustler says, if me and you are on the treadmill, two things are
going to happen. Either you're going to get off first, or I'm going to die trying to beat you,
because I'm completely sold out to the dream division that I'm carrying. I am totally committed to
this. Anything you want, you can get, but you have to be honest about it, because if you don't
love it and you ain't willing to die for it, don't do it. You ain't got to meet me nowhere. I'm coming to
get you. And every giant in your life, slay them. You go back and slay them. Don't kill them.
It's do or die.
Repeat the questions again.
Why are you alive? And for what are you willing to die this very day?
I've got nothing to lose. A last ditch do or die response.
What is your dream? What did you say to that teacher? What did you tell your mom and your
friends? What did you say before you gave up? What did you say before reality became?
your truth. When did you accept the lie? When did you get comfortable? When did you get off
track? When did you stop? When did you quit? I'm here to push you. I'm here to drive you. I'm here to
connect with you. When did you give up? When did you talk yourself out of it? I need you to talk yourself
back into it. I need you to make sure that you get those notes out. What are your goals? What are your
dreams? I'm here to help you. I know you can get there. I know you can get to that next level.
No doubt about it. But you got to work, baby. You got to work. You got to rise up early.
you got to go to bed late.
Let me tell you something,
you got to get obsessive.
What are you obsessed with?
Any successful person I've ever seen in my life,
they are different.
They are obsessive.
Whatever you identify with,
your intellect always tries to protect that.
You're willing to fight.
You're willing to die for it.
Is do or die.
Look, ain't no more talking.
This is it.
Dreaming is good.
Having goals is good.
But soon or later,
there comes a time when you,
You must act. Dreams without action, that's the path to delusion. Be anyone you want. Believe that you can do it and work hard to get it and it's yours. Never wait and see to believe it. Believe it and you'll see it.
The real question is how bad do you want it and what are you willing to do to get it?
When is enough going to be enough? When are you going to get passionate about attacking your goals? You are either to
predator or the prey. A true hunter hunts. A true hunter's goal is to hunt. That's what they live for.
They live to hunt. They don't just live to catch it. It's the whole process. It does not take talent.
You don't have to be talented. You don't have to be gifted. You don't have to be the quickest, the
strongest. You don't have to be the most intelligent to get to where I am. That's what you got to do.
You just got to grind, though. You're grine.
Anything worth believing for is worth fighting for.
If you got faith for it, you got to have fight for it.
Where's your fight?
I see your faith, but I don't see your fight, and it's time to get your fighter.
You have to live it.
You have to want it so bad to where you'll sacrifice those Saturday nights or Friday nights with your friends.
I would rather die trying to live my dreams than to live a longer life filled with regret.
I can't want it for you
You have to want it for yourself
So many people
Are over positive
Without having realistic
positivity now it doesn't mean
You shouldn't dream big
But you better dream in sequence
If to get to there I'd have to go to here
And if I get to that here's like if you can't identify
What levels you've got to reach to get to that
You're never going to truly believe
There's a very small group of people in the world
who don't know how to stop.
Whatever you tell them, whatever you give them,
they don't know how to stop.
They're going to get what they want,
or they're going to, you know, this line goes, die trying.
They're going to give their best
to figure out exactly what they want.
I'd rather die than compromise my gut.
Now that you've discovered, okay, I'm not doing what I want to do.
I need to learn how to do what I want to do,
and I need to figure out the bridge,
to bridge the gap between the dream and the reality.
Do you know why you want to do what you actually want to do?
What is your why?
Because if the why is great enough,
if you're aware of that why,
then you can begin to back that why up with work ethic.
Every why is got to be backed up by work.
Work is what fuels your why.
Today is the day.
Today is the day that you try that new thing.
The day you say sorry, say I love you.
The day you go after your dream.
Today is the beginning of the rest of your life and it can be scary.
It's a big bad world out there, but you only live once, so live.
Take chances.
Don't be afraid to fail.
Don't be afraid to dream big.
You got to want it so bad.
You gotta give all of yourself to get it.
You gotta be obsessive.
You can't do what everybody else is doing and think you're gonna get it.
Because that's not enough anymore.
You gotta do something different.
different. You got to do something extra. Listen to me. You have to think it all the time. You got to think
about it when you're sleeping. You have to breathe it all the time. You have to visualize it all the time.
You have to be transforming all the time. When you are committed to finishing what you started,
there is no stopping you. That's what it's going to take. All you got and then a little bit more.
because here's reality
in order to get it
you must become it
you can't fake success
you can't fake this thing
trust me
once you are self-aware of
who you are and what you want to do
do what you must do
to make the dream
a reality
you can't have excuses
you can't play the blame game
because great people don't make excuses
they make up
you still
must fly
I'll never be in the Olympics.
I never be professional athlete, but still I grind.
I feel that most things I do, but still I grind.
I don't want to do half the shit I do, but still I grind.
When you're working at your dream, somebody said, the heart of the battle, the sweet of the victory.
Oh, it's sweet to you.
It's good to you.
Why?
See, when you win, it's hard, there's a struggle.
See, what you become in the process is more important to believe.
No more will I be treated like this?
No more will I be overweight?
No more will I be in a job that I hate?
Just decide, man.
What you need to do is to train your mind
and focus on the pain you'll get if you don't act.
Listen to me, you are in full control of your destiny, of your future, of your dreams.
Nobody else is responsible for.
Don't you give up on your life?
Don't you give up on those reps?
Don't you give up or give it and what it takes to get the most of yourself.
Still I grind.
And that one day you see me down a dark alley run at 1 o'clock in the morning, no one thing.
I was grinding.
When you have fallen, when you have made a mistake, the worst thing you can do is criticize yourself.
At the end of the day, life can be very painful.
We can experience loss and worry and the insomnia of reoccurring heartbreak and hardships.
It is inevitable.
It is self-compassion that gives us the power to face our failures, to face our fears, to face our insecurities, to face what we don't like about ourselves and come out on top.
When you down, find a way to get up.
I've been there.
I go through it like anybody else.
But I have a job to do this world.
And so do you.
The real challenge of growth, mentally, emotionally and spiritually,
comes when you get knocked down.
How you handle it.
That's where the growth takes place.
Evaluate where you are.
Look at it.
Assess yourself.
Assess yourself and assess the situation.
What brought you there?
What role did you play?
All of us are self-made, but only the successful will admit it.
If you want to begin to move, you've got to clear your mind of all the unnecessary luggage and baggage that's weighing us down.
I'm telling you from personal experience, I know what my life was like when I put in 55.
I know what it was like when I didn't try.
I know what my life was like when I didn't care.
I know what my life was like when I didn't have any dreams or any gold.
Like I didn't want anything.
I know what my life was like.
Now I'm putting in 120, baby.
You put it in 120.
Not only is it affects your life.
It affects your family's life.
It affects your friend's life.
It affects your community's life.
Are you hearing what I'm telling you?
I'm challenging you.
I'm challenging you to get from where you are.
I'm challenging you to stop settling.
I'm challenging you.
I'm challenging you to stop accepting the life that was given to you.
I'm challenging you to give 120%.
Are you hearing me?
Trying is not good enough.
Trying is not going to get you there.
We need potential.
We need application.
We need dedication.
We need motivation.
We need discipline.
We need to understand that work must be applied.
And even when you don't want to do it, find a way to do it anyway.
I'm coming back.
And I'll be stronger and better because of it.
You have got to make a declaration that this is what you stand for.
If you are going to win the fight for your future, then you are going to have to master self-compassion.
Face the conflict. Embrace rather than avoid challenges.
And you don't give up on yourself. Do not give up on yourself.
When you find yourself criticizing yourself negatively comparing yourself to others, try to find inspiration in their successes.
instead of feeling threatened.
You're standing up for your dreams.
You're standing up for peace of mind.
You're standing up for health.
You want it.
And you're going to go all out to have it.
Everybody gets knocked down.
No matter how tough you think you are, you're going to fall.
And when you fall, sometimes you fall real hard.
But that ground is a hard surface.
And I'm going to tell you something,
it ain't going to move because you're laying on it.
So you need to rise up and you need to rise above it
and you need to start moving.
Sometimes you have to back up and go within and pray and meditate and recharge your batteries.
Go away, clear your head, and then come back and look at it from a different vantage point.
Don't operate while you are under the spell or the effect of what's going on.
Stop half doing stuff.
Stop putting forth 50% effort.
Look, stop.
Do it right or just don't do it at all.
Are you hearing me?
Do it right.
There's a lot of people walking around today.
They have unchecked rage, unchecked aground.
Unchecked anxiety fear and security you're going to have to care enough about yourself to face it and find a resolve
You got to find out what's the next things you need to be doing
How are you going to push it to that level and go beyond it? How are you going to maximize your time?
How much energy are you going to put into this craft?
Everything you have everything you are everything you're doing like it's 78 and what I need you to do is
I need to look at yourself in the mirror and say, come on, quit.
Stop playing.
I deserve to see what my life would look like if I gave 120%.
Stay dedicated.
You've got to keep on pushing forward.
You've got to keep on fighting the good fight.
You've got to put aside the excuses.
Because excuses won't lift you up.
Excuses won't give you the power that you truly need.
You've got to be willing to go against the tide.
You've got to be willing to harness your will and say in spite of this, I'm in control here.
I'm not going to let this get me down.
I'm not going to let this destroy me.
When you get knocked down, how long are you going to stay down?
When you lose your job, when you lose that loved one, regardless if it's your husband, your wife, your child, whatever it is,
do you have the ability to go through the hurt and the pain of that loss?
Regardless of what you're going through, the best time you know that you are strong is when you're at the weakest point of your life.
I want you to see yourself in your mind's eye and say to yourself, I love myself unconditionally and I forgive myself.
If I knew better, I would have done better.
To win the war for your future, then you are going to have to master the muscle of self-concounter.
passion. When you are so far down at hold you looking up and you don't see no light,
but yet you know there's an end to this darkness. That's when you'll find out just how
strong you really are. Just keep moving forward. If you think that you're going
through something so bad right now, wait until tomorrow if tomorrow comes for you. Look at the
person next to you. Look at people all over the world if you ever come in contact with
certain individuals. And ask you,
yourself. They're going through a lot more than what I'm going through because honestly
they're always going to be people that are going through a lot more than you're going
through right now. Remember the past but do not live in the past. Every mistake you have made
up until this very moment, forgive yourself. With forgiveness comes freedom. You're going to have
people to do things to you. Things are going to happen to you and the most important thing
to do is to harness your will and let it go and move so you can grow so you can get on with your life
it doesn't matter about what happens to you what matters is what are you going to do about it
this is a process and you have to hurt just a little bit so you can understand what it means to be
strong so don't give up on your hopes don't give up on your dreams don't give up on yourself
If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it.
The hard is what makes it great.
What the hell does fair have to do with it?
I got a big news flash for you, Tammy, life isn't fair.
You're going to have to scrape and claw for everything you want, just like the rest of us.
But you haven't done one single thing to make it better.
You know, you can't just bitch and moan and expect shit to change.
You're going to lose sleep.
You'll doubt whether it'll work.
You'll stress to make ends meet.
you won't finish your to-do list.
You'll wonder whether you made the right call
and have no way to know.
This is what hard feels like,
and that's okay.
Everything worth doing is hard.
And the more worth doing it is,
the harder it is.
The greater the payoff,
the greater the hardship.
If it's hard, good.
It means no one else will do it.
More for you.
Being bullied coming from nothing,
learning disability,
messed up foundation.
Life isn't fair.
At all. At all. So what are you going to do about it? I knew that no one was coming back to help me. No one's a miracle me to be somebody special. All my situations were on me now. It's solely on me.
Look, look, that test might not go away. That pain may not go away. That fight might not go away. You are a warrior. It's time for you not to back up, not to give up, not to give in. I know it's challenging. I know you've never gone through.
through this much pain before. I know you've never been tested like this. I don't know if I can make it.
Look, warrior, it's time to do what warriors do, baby. Life isn't fair, is it? Doesn't appear to be very
fair. I don't even know if that's what we want. What are we built for? Because, dude, the reality is
his life is hard, man. We're going to be hit so many times with unexpected hardships. And these
unexpected hardships for most people crumble them. And the reason they crumble them is because
they lack the ability to operate during hard times.
Man, it's tough duty to win the fair fights.
And there's a lot of unfair fights out there.
And why do I want to spend my time if I got 25 hours of eight
picking unfair fights when I'm going to be busted my ass to win the fair ones?
Life can be kind of difficult.
You don't really know sometimes where you're headed.
Nobody kind of gives you any kind of guidance in this world.
One of the things that makes life more difficult for us is that we expect it to be
Does demanding that it should be fair make you stronger?
Does saying that that person started further ahead of you in any way benefit you?
No, because your actions are entirely independent from them.
No, it's hard.
Life is hard.
And you could either fold or you could get after it.
Some of y'all, you're like, E.T. I'm frustrated.
I can't take another loss.
Listen to me.
Can you just survive today?
I called the Rocky Cutsine.
And almost every successful person that I have ever encountered has gone through not a month
or a year, but many years of doing work without reward where they have to do things that other
people find boring, and they have to sacrifice things that everyone finds interesting, and they
basically sacrifice a season of other things that they would prefer to do, to do stuff that they
would not prefer to do, because of the one thing they want most.
Look, life is hard, and there is suffering, but you're not lonely.
There is a way out and there is light out there and it is good, but you got to hang in there.
You've got to never give up and you got to remember that you are never out of the fight.
