Daily Motivations - You Have 4 Months Left
Episode Date: September 2, 2026You have 4 months left — enough time to change your body, your habits and your standard, or enough time to reach December exactly where you are right now. Four months is not a small amount of time.... It's long enough to build a habit that lasts a decade and short enough that starting tomorrow already costs you. The clock runs either way — the only variable is you. It's about building a strong mindset, mastering self-discipline, and pushing forward when motivation fades. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just consistency, resilience, and growth. This episode is for those chasing their goals, working in silence, and choosing long-term success over short-term pleasure. My mission is to inspire personal growth, mental toughness, and a success mindset — helping you unlock your full potential and create a better life through discipline, focus, and commitment. What would have to happen by the end of 2026 for me to look back on 2026 and consider it a success?
So, first rule, in order to pick something up, you have to put something down.
I hear the clock ticking.
That's what I hear.
And the end is nigh.
And time waits for no man.
And you young guns out there, 18 years old, 20 years old, 24 years old, listen, life goes by
And it goes by quick.
Don't waste those years.
Don't waste them.
Live them.
If I told you towards the year, you got the life you always dreamed of the money, the body, the mindset, but only on one condition.
Starting January 1st, you have to show up every day from here on now.
Hearing these words probably puts a spark in your brain.
It gives you a little dopamine hit.
But what good is a motivational video if you ain't going to use these words and put them into action?
Increase your sacrifice or reduce your desire?
Because not everybody cut out for this bro.
Don't prove that to them.
Prove that to yourself.
And the reason that you are not as great as you could be
is because you can't take pain.
The reason that you are aborted
is because you get frustrated
and disappointed with the slow pace
of the fulfillment of your desire
so you abort the process
and wonder why you're a bum on life's highway.
It's time to get back to work.
stop hearing yourself talk
get off the podcast
don't be on social media too much
cut out all the noise
get back to the mental lab
don't make excuses
don't blame any other person
or any other thing
get control of your ego
don't hide
your delicate pride
from the truth
take ownership of everything
in your world the good
and the bad
take ownership of your mistakes
take ownership
of your shortfalls, take ownership of your problems, and then take ownership of the solutions
that will get those problems solved. You were there. You know this. There was no one there
to pick up the rucksack, to pick up the boat, to pick up the log, to go in there. It was you.
It was you. There wasn't no pat on the back at 300, at 275, at 250, at 220. No, that was you.
Well, Confucius had a great saying that, you know, every man has two lives. And the second starts when
he realizes he has just one.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
I was the lowest form on earth.
No talent, no ability to learn.
And I literally know what it is to be rock bottom and to build that up.
People are time wasters and the great majority of people have no goals.
They have no priorities.
They have no plans.
They have no concern about becoming successful.
And they think that you are the same.
They think because their time isn't worth anything that your time isn't worth anything also.
Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today.
Yes.
Because you need to have a hierarchy of improvement.
You need to be aiming for something.
And that means you're going to be lesser than people who've already,
attained along that dimension. And that can give rise to envy. So the question is, who should you
defeat in the final analysis? And the answer is you should defeat your former self. You should be
constantly trying to do that. And you're the right control for yourself too, because you're the one
who's had all your advantages and disadvantages. And so if you want to compete fairly with someone,
then you should be competing with you. How am able to just extract dopamine, the good dopamine,
whenever I want? Man, I've trained 99% of my life alone.
No one pat me on the back.
I did all of the work alone.
And while I'm still hard on myself, I know what I did.
Lazy people don't know how to start.
Weak people don't know how to finish.
Successful people don't know how to stop.
People demand success, but refuse to work weekends.
People want opportunity but won't talk to strangers.
People claim ambition but sleep in every day.
We are the result of our actions, not our aspirations.
If you had to create a human, what would you put them through to make them tough?
It probably wouldn't be a really chill life.
What would you put them through to make them patient?
You probably wouldn't give them things immediately.
You have to disappear.
You still go to work.
You still show up.
But you stop announcing every move and start building something that speaks for itself.
Disappearing means doing the work.
It means doing the work in the dark.
It means building in private what you don't need to prove in public.
It means doing the work when no one's watching.
You stop worrying about what people think
and start valuing what you believe.
You want to reach your goal?
How to reach the goal the quickest?
Be focused with your energy.
Meaning be focused with the mind.
Don't lose the goal from the mind.
Whatever you do from the moment of waking up
until the evening, whatever you do,
whatever you do, keep the goal in the mind.
This is the quickest way of making this goal become real.
Success really just boils down to this.
You've got to want it more than you hate what it takes to get it.
If you're willing to suck at anything for 100 days in a row,
you can beat most people at most things.
If you want to be really great at something,
you kind of have to be out of your mind,
but you also have to have an iron will.
Yeah.
You don't want to work out every day.
There's going to be days you just want to eat cake and sleep.
Yeah.
But if you want to get past the guy who eats cake and sleeps, you don't eat cake and you don't sleep.
Yeah.
Time to become a man.
Walk forward. Peripheral vision.
Get it.
Own yourself.
Walk forward with more courage.
And start becoming the man you want to be instead of acting like it and putting it off.
Yeah, I truly believe we are all equal as human beings.
If we are obsessed with something and we truly pursue our passion with everything we have,
regardless of anything else.
If you are obsessed, work hard, put in the time, you will succeed.
And that is a philosophy that I carry, my coaches carry on.
This is hard work.
This is an obsession.
Nothing can beat hard work.
The easiest thing in life is to give up on whatever you're focused on
or whatever you're hopeful for.
The hardest thing is to keep going, but we have to.
There's people out there that are just working harder than every day.
everybody else and they're going to keep doing it.
Yeah.
And that's their grind.
Normal people get normal results.
Weird people get weird results.
You literally can't do what everyone else does and not expect to get what everyone else has.
By doing what everyone else does, you guarantee average results.
You get up.
You don't want to go run.
You don't want to go swim.
You go swim.
You don't want to go swim.
You don't make your bed.
You make your bed.
That most of the limitations we have do not exist in reality.
They exist only in your own.
own mind. And one of the starting points of great achievement is to start questioning those
self-limiting beliefs and throw them off and act as if they did not exist. Nobody's going to help you.
It is you yourself who needs to go through the pain, who needs to go through the training, who is
the one who needs to motivate yourself, find your own purpose in why am I doing this? There is nobody else
out there helping you to achieve what you are setting on the mind.
Get up every day at the same time.
Go to bed at the same time.
Establish disciplined habits.
Clean your room.
Organize your life.
Like, get a routine.
Get up early.
Do some kind of workout.
Eat good foods.
Clean your room.
Make a list of things that you're supposed to do in your life.
And then wake up in the morning and do those things that you put on the list.
Turn your feelings off when it comes down to you wanting to be better.
What that means is when that long clock goes off, your feelings got to go away.
It's raining outside.
It's cold outside.
When you don't want to put those long hours in at work, that's what I'm talking about.
Your feelings must go away.
If you have to ask how to get motivated to go to the gym, you don't need to be going to the gym.
You don't want it enough.
When you're sick and tired of looking and feeling like, you'll show up.
I'll see you there because you're going to look in the mirror and you're going to be like that.
You kind of want to be in the gym.
If I could go back, I'd tell younger me, you're going to do some pretty great things,
but you do not need to be great.
All you have to do is be yourself.
That will always be enough.
Learn to act on stage.
Don't rely on social media.
Put it down.
Turn it off.
Shut up.
Be quiet.
Learn.
Read.
Relax.
Get better.
First part of your life you learn.
Second part of your life you earn.
Third part of your life, you return.
There is a period in everybody's journey where,
They are so different because they've started to do new things that they no longer fit in with that old set of friends.
But they're not sufficiently developed that they've gained their new set of friends.
And they're unsure.
Should I go back?
Should I lean back into getting a bag in with the boys on a weekend?
Is that the highest, you know, way that I can live my life, passion forward?
Because that's what everybody else does.
And all of my friends are taking the piss?
Oh, not drinking again.
Too good for us, are we?
Not going out again this week.
Oh, okay.
Well, like, enjoy staying in home and reading.
nerd. So you're going to feel the pain of being ostracized from the group of friends that you used
to have. But you're stuck in this messy middle where you haven't yet worked out who you are on
the other side of this. And that lonely chapter that's in the middle is something that I would say
almost nobody that I've ever met who has gone from a place where they are to a place where they
want to be, hasn't gone through. And today I'll no longer be a loser. Today I'm going to change my path.
I'm gonna get on the path of success.
I don't care how long that road is.
I'm gonna see it through no matter what.
Because you know what?
I've been living enough years in this hole.
I don't want to be here anymore.
I'm not happy with this.
I'm tired of making excuses.
I'm tired of going through the same search of emotion.
I want to be different.
There was no weight loss program or mom and dad waking you up saying you can do it.
You can be better trying to build belief.
You built belief when you had nothing.
Rock bottom.
They hit rock bottom.
That's the way up.
You hit rock bottom.
It's beautiful.
The struggle of coming back is beautiful.
That's struggle.
You're going to lose sleep.
You'll doubt whether it'll work.
You'll stress to make ends meet.
You won't finish your to-do list.
You'll wonder whether you made the right call and have no way to know for yours.
This is what hard feels like.
And that's okay.
Everything worth doing is hard.
and the more worth doing it is, the harder it is.
The greater the payoff, the greater the hardship.
If it's hard, good, it means no one else will do it.
More for you.
The ultimate lesson here is this.
Everybody's on their own path.
And I don't want to judge someone for wanting to be free and easy.
I just want you to understand that there's a cost to that.
And the cost that you're going to have to that isn't going to come until later.
Most people focus on that version of themselves they want to become and actually be willing to become it.
And that's what's ultimately going to create the fulfillment that you're looking for.
It's not going to be your cold plunge.
It's not going to be your morning routine.
It's going to be the work that you do to become that version of yourself
that is the exact version that you know you're supposed to become and then being proud of it.
That's what's going to create the fulfillment that you're searching for.
There is no shame to admit that you're afraid because there's no courage without fear.
And when I made peace with that, it changes everything in my life because I made peace and I said it
to even in my open, it's like, yeah, I'm scared of you.
But no matter what, I'm gonna freaking walk the walk on Saturday night
and there's nothing you can do.
And I'm telling you, you don't need to determine,
I'm telling you it's worth it.
Oh, yeah.
I'm telling you it is worth it.
And you know what?
You actually know it's worth it.
That's why you're asking this question.
You know it's worth it.
You know it's worth it to have discipline,
but you think there's an easier way.
You think that it's something that people have.
You think that when Jocco's alarm clock goes off,
it's like, oh, just like my father taught me,
I rise and I shine.
You know, like, no.
It's like the pillow feels soft and comfortable.
Yeah.
And the alarm clock is banging on my head and I don't like it.
But you know what?
I know it's worth it to get up and get after it.
I know it's worth it.
And you know it's worth it.
Is this going to make me better?
No.
It goes.
Is this going to help my life?
No.
It goes.
Is this going to create a bright future for those around me?
No.
It goes.
And it's simple as that.
It's hard when you're young to wake up in the off season at 6 a.m. to go train and work out,
knowing that all your friends are sleeping in and eating pancakes.
It's hard when you're on your way to practice, way down with all your gear.
And it's 90 degrees out and all the other kids are at the pool or at the beach.
And your body is already completely exhausted from workouts in two a days.
It's hard to throw, catch, block and tackle and hit kids.
when they're way bigger and way more developed than you, only to go home that night, bruised and battered and strained,
but knowing you have to show up again the next day for just the chance to try again.
If you don't change what you're doing and how you do it, nothing else will change.
But if I'm feeling bad, that doesn't mean I'm doing bad.
That doesn't mean I am bad.
That doesn't mean that I can't still take some action.
Because yeah, nothing changes and nothing changes, man.
In order for something to change, there needs to be change.
In life, folks, you cannot change your life unless you change something.
If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.
No matter what it is, many times you say to yourself, I got to lose weight, I got to lose weight, I'm too fat.
And then you know what?
During the day you eat, you eat at night, and then next day you get mad at yourself.
Well, what do you want?
What do you want?
You got to change something.
The fear.
The fear is never reaching your potential.
That's it.
That always fallen short, always quitting before you're done, always procrastinating, always not doing the right thing.
And then one day you're an old man.
Yep.
And you look back and go, God, I could have been great.
Yep.
It could have been great.
At some point, everything's going to go south on you.
Everything's going to go south.
And you're going to say, this is it.
This is how I end.
Now, you can either accept that or you can get to work.
That's all it is.
You just begin.
You do the math.
You solve one problem.
And you solve the next one.
And then the next.
And if you solve enough problems, you get to come home.
If you want to change your life, you must change your ways.
You must develop discipline.
You must develop strength.
Everybody gets one chance to do something great.
Most people never take the chance, either because they're too scared,
or they don't recognize it when it spits on their shoes.
This is your big chance.
You shouldn't let it go by.
You remember when you busted the guts out of the ball the other day?
Someone's telling you something, kid.
And if I was you, I'd listen.
Don't stop when you're tired.
Stop when you're done.
What if I told you're only months away from the life you've always dreamed of?
The money, the body, the mindset, but only on one condition.
You have to show up every day from here on out.
Up until now, that's not a price you've been willing to pay.
But the reality is, there are graveyards full of men that wish they could be in your spot.
Months to become the man you always knew you could be.
Set up a schedule and just do the work.
You wake up one day, you feel this way, you wake up the next day, you feel another way.
and it's just not helpful to base your structure or your goal on how you feel.
You stick to what you put there on paper.
Every morning, every day of our lives, we have choices to make.
You have the choice to stay in bed to say, forget it.
I'm not going to work out today or forget it.
I'm not going to work hard today.
You always have a choice every single day of your life.
So it's a very different video because yesterday I made the choice to get up early and run.
But today's another day.
Today's another day.
And I'm faced with another choice to make.
So I'm making the choice again to put my shoes on early in the morning and get acting again.
So make the right decision.
What's holding people back from excelling beyond average?
Do you think it's talent, belief?
I think people don't do very much.
I think people do a lot of talking about doing, not a lot of doing.
And I think it's the doing that does everything.
And I think that's the, and whether it's lack of motivation, lack of focus, lack of, like, lack of 100 different things,
it just comes down to number of actions taken pre-initive time.
And I think the vast majority of people just wildly underestimate the volume that's required.
What do you want in your life?
We have so much influence coming at us.
that we are so lost.
We don't know what we want to do
because we don't spend enough time with ourselves.
You have to learn to shut off a phone.
Shut off a computer.
Shut off a TV.
And it's okay to sit in the room by yourself in a chair
and just think about you, where I want to be.
Where do I see myself tomorrow the next year,
the next year from that?
And it takes a lot of self-discipline
to be able to do that nowadays
because you want to be so attached to everything.
You want to be so caught up with the world.
The world's moving too fast.
The world's moving so fast that you're trying to keep up to the point where you lose
yourself in the world.
So we don't stop.
If we start something we see the entire way through, at the end of it, even if you don't
like it to the highest level, you know that you put your time energy into something,
that you're at least proud, proud that you did, proud that you were able to put a period
on that sentence.
The biggest mistake a person can do right now, no matter in which situation you are, is to give up.
You might not reach the best, best version of yourself in this lifetime, but a better one than you are right now.
To achieving your dreams, you must apply discipline, but more importantly, consistency, because without commitment, you'll never start.
But without consistency, you never finish.
And if you're going to make this a lifestyle, you have to lower the barriers,
make the gym cheaper, closer, training partners, exercises you like,
and you have to raise the impetus, goals, inspiration, and goddamn real desire to be there.
The people that have no problem showing up to the gym are the people that want to be there.
And no amount of Rocky Balboa movies are going to get you to that place.
A lot of that is also built with the experience of having the gym be a place where you get results
by pushing yourself winning little mini challenges and having fun with it.
Fired up, man.
Fired the FAM, motivated, pumped up, man.
Early still, man, early.
Some people just getting up going about the first endeavor of the day.
We've already done a few endeavors, man.
We already kick some...
We like a taste of that.
We want to kick some more.
Let's put the next ever endeavor we're doing.
Because we put value in our day.
You are, you repeatedly do.
And anything you do.
So many people, they want to go somewhere, but they don't want to move.
What do they expect?
They expect us to pick them up and carry them there?
No, no.
What is it today that you've been wanting, but to be honest with you, you haven't yet gotten?
I will almost guarantee you the reason that your want and desire is far from being fulfilled
by achieving it is because you haven't taken action necessary.
So today, don't think about it.
Don't talk about it.
Don't wish for it.
Go for it.
Dive, move, start.
Trust me, it's the only way to get there.
Earl Nightingale said many years ago
that one hour per day of study in your chosen field
was all that it really takes.
One hour per day of study
will put you at the top of your field
within three years.
Within five years,
be at National Authority. In seven years, you can be one of the best people in the world at what
you do with just one hour every single day. Personal responsibility is to compete with yourself,
is to be slightly better than yourself the next day. And it better in some way that you can
actually manage, and that's humility. It's right. Like, well, I'm a flawed person, and I've got all
my problems. Could I be as good as person X? It's like not the right question. The right question is,
could you be slightly better tomorrow than your currently flawed self? An answer to the
that is if you have enough humility to set the bar properly low, then you could be better
tomorrow than you are today.
It's easy to fight when everything's right, when you're mad with a thrill and the glory.
It's easy to cheer when victory is near and wallowing fields that are gory.
It's a different song when everything's wrong, when you're feeling infernally mortal,
when it's ten against one and hope there is none, cup little soldier, and chorto.
Carry on, carry on.
much punch in your blow. You're glaring and staring and hitting out blinds. You're muddy and
bloody, but never you mind. Carry on, carry on. You haven't the ghost of a show. It's looking
like death. But while you have a breath, carry on, my son, carry on. It's all about focus.
I don't care who you are, where you're from, doesn't matter, is having a focus and having a purpose.
You wake up every single day to get better today than you were yesterday. It doesn't matter
with you. Are you basketball player, hockey player, golf player, painter right now?
nothing matter right right you try to reach your full potential by getting better every single day and that's the question
