Starting point is 00:00:00 No spin, no bias, no censorship. I'm Dan Wooden. This is outspoken episode number 594 and breaking right now, growing disgust, outrage and even international condemnation as Patriot platform leader Danny Tomo becomes Andy Burnham and Shibana MacMood's political prisoner with a judge today refusing bail while locking him up until a trial not due until March, simply because he tried to stop a dingy owned by people traffickers from continuing the invasion of the disunited kingdom. Kate! Get off the boat! Get off the boat!
Starting point is 00:00:45 And unfortunately, he is going to be on remand until trial in March 2027. And Danny... March 27? This two-tier horror, comes as Donald Trump joins a growing number of politicians to slam the decision to release on bail, five terror suspects who were arrested over that alleged bid
Starting point is 00:01:09 to blow up RAF Fairford. I will tell you, I would have said, don't let them have bail, cashless bail. But over there, I'm surprised that they released them. I wouldn't have done that. We know everything about them. We would not have released them. What happened, would almost happen,
Starting point is 00:01:28 what could have happened, in the UK over the weekend is a very serious situation. A lot of people are disturbed by the news that some of these people have been released on bail. Today, Tommy Robinson says Danny's incarceration is going to light a fire under Britain as patriots wake up to how the government is now literally locking up good folk,
Starting point is 00:01:49 good folk who just want to save us from an Islamist takeover. But they want him in prison because it's about sending a political message to the country. That's not going to work. None of this is going to work. All they do is ignite more fires in people's bellies. People see it.
Starting point is 00:02:07 People realise it. Our voice and our movement gets louder. Yet Tommy has just been taunted by leftists in Trafalgar Square who want him to die. You ugly, swan. Hot pill, told me to say hello. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me, why should I die?
Starting point is 00:02:26 Why should I die? Why should I die? Why should I die? That is your average person who, any person that shouts up at me, actually have no argument at all. Okay, so with me momentarily, very important, Ezra Levant, the publisher of Rebel News. Now, you'll know he is currently banned by Andy Burnham, the Prime Minister, from entering Britain, but he is behind the legal campaign to free Danny, so we will get all the latest. Also, breaking today, Burnham claims to want unity, but attacks the right in his Labour conference speech,
Starting point is 00:02:59 even dumping the triple lock. Today we draw a line on a decade of division. The British right talk about taking back control. Never let them forget. They are the ones that gave it away in the first place. That promise will take the state pension to a record high. From there, in April 2030, we will adjust it. Yet a star Labour MP just exposed for wanting to destroy British rural pub life,
Starting point is 00:03:35 claiming, wait for it, that it is a far-right invention. These are the enemies of the people. I do believe that the next election is going to be fought on a battle line of nature and rural affairs, and that would be the far right deciding and determining what that looks like. And it will be a vision, a nostalgic vision of Britain that never really existed. It'll be that warm ale, a black lavender door by your feet in a pub that doesn't exist. The brilliant historian broadcast. and fellow at the New Culture Forum,
Starting point is 00:04:03 Rafe Hedleman, who is with us for the entire show to react to all of this major breaking news today. Also on the way, Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace cut contact with Prince Harry after the Duke's bully boy returned to the UK proves disastrous, as threatening the Labour government over security has thus far failed. Plus, Charles Spencer continuing his anti-royal campaign with Meghan Markle's close friend, Gayle King, on CBS.
Starting point is 00:04:27 We'll have P-Diner up for the Royal Uncanceled Aftershow over on subsist. back as well. We will also be revealing a brand new Greatest Britain and Union Jackass. Here are today's nominees. Rafe has gone for Shabana MacMood for wanting to open up new routes for Palestinians and Afghans to come to the UK and for appearing to back down on stopping the Boris Wave becoming eligible for indefinite leave to remain after just five years. He's also nominated Angela Raina for wanting to seize people's homes if they have been empty for six months and move others in there. He says presumably migrants. I have gone for Judge James Newhouse. Newton Price, he was the man presiding over Danny Tomo's trial today. Do keep your super chats coming in
Starting point is 00:05:10 as well. I'll read out the best at the end of the show. But now, let's go. So the disunited kingdom has a new political prisoner under this despicable, treacherous Labour government with the Patriot platform leader Danny Tomo denied bail again, meaning that barring a major judicial U-turn, he is locked up for Christmas, locked up until March, 27. That is when his trial is due. And remember, this is all because of his work to prevent an illegal invasion of this country. And because he backs and leads a growing people's army that sends chills through our political establishment and mainstream media. Meanwhile, the Fairfoot Five Walk Free, terror suspects, arrested over an alleged bid to blow up the RAA.
Starting point is 00:05:59 base used by US troops, which Donald Trump said is completely nuts. Of course they shouldn't have been bailed. This country has gone insane. Let's look at the moment that Urban Scoops, brother Wendell, who was at Portsmouth Crown Court, broke that terrible news earlier. Because Danny has a great social media following, they believe there's a risk of reoffending again. And the third and main reason is Danny was already on bail when this incident occurred. So that went against him. And unfortunately, he is going to be on remand until trial in March 2027. And Danny, March 27. March 2027. That was followed by a gleeful main thing. That was followed by a gleeful main thing. Street Media. Breaking news, Daniel Thomas, known to supporters as Danny Tomo, has been remanded
Starting point is 00:07:10 in custody at Portsmouth Crown Court, accused of criminal damage to a boat in the English Channel. Daniel Thomas, who's more commonly known as Danny Tomo, he has been remanded into custody at Portsmouth Crown Court. Yes, he's accused of criminal damage to a boat in the channel, and the 37-year-old appeared via video link from prison, wearing a great... t-shirt and holding a copy of the Bible. Now, a provisional trial date has been set for March the 1st next year at today's hearing at Portsmouth Crown Court, where he has been remanded into custody. So on his decision to refuse bail, Judge James Newton Price Casey told the court, I am not concerned with the political issues or motivations in this matter and I put them aside
Starting point is 00:07:58 in deciding this matter. But he then told Danny direct, I have adjourned this. case to the next hearing which will take place on Thursday, November the 12th, I have set dates for service of evidence. At that hearing on November the 12, you will appear by the court video link system and your counsel, Mr. Pentel, I have given permission to appear by VideoLink as well. I have said a trial date provisionally at least for March the first next year and custody time limits are March the 25th. So the British Patriot reacted on X. Six days in custody for slashing a dinghy, no threats to hurt anyone or harm the public. Terror suspects accused of plotting a terrorist attack, released the same day pending investigation to tear justice again.
Starting point is 00:08:39 And Slippery Stama's political prison, who has had her mental taken now by Tomo, Lucy Connolly, posted furiously, danger to the public, my peachy ass. The judiciary is so infiltrated, it's insane. Only I know that. I feel for Danny and his family, I feel so helpless. What I am going to do, though, is send his family money. People supported me when I found myself in this position, so all I can do is return. the favour to others that find themselves banged up because they don't vote Labor.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Now, Tommy believes that actually this is all about sending a political message to the country. However, he says Danny's incarceration will fail for this corrupted government because the two-tier nature of it is going to wake up even more patriots. Watch. Now, what this does, okay, this is bad for Danny. But when I went to jail last year, bad for me. Good for the cause. in the sense. The public need to see many people who still trust these bullshit
Starting point is 00:09:37 call us and don't believe we live under tyranny, yeah? Total two-tier police and two-tier judiciary, everything. Think about the people who pushed a bin during the Stockport troubles, remanded into custody. Lucy Connolly, remanded into custody, tweet. Peter someone the other week threw an empty water bottle at police, didn't hear anyone, remanded into custody. Years in jail, all of them, yeah? Suspected terrorists yesterday. Suspected terrorists. Out quicker than I've ever been out. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:10:07 What is going on? Danny has now been remanded into custody because he's a danger apparently. They have so many conditions they can put on him to prevent his activism, but they want him in prison because it's about sending a political message to the country. That's not going to work.
Starting point is 00:10:25 None of this is going to work. All they do is ignite more fires in people's bellies. People see it. People realise it. Our voice and our movement gets louder. But disgustingly, the sick lefters turning the UK into a socialist hellhole celebrated the news. Look at this. From the absolute scumbags, oh my God, there's so much more I want to say about them, stand up to racism.
Starting point is 00:10:47 They posted a picture of Danny Tomo in a Santa hat with the words tis the season. He's got children, you unconscionable assholes. They added, we hope Danny Tomo enjoys the inside of a pretty. prison cell. He brought hundreds of masked men into communities to terrorise refugees and migrants. His organisation is now leaderless. We will break it. And other absolute scumbags on X decided to mock the fact that Danny was very emotional and clutching a Bible. You have to remember what patriots who stand up for our country now have to deal with on a daily basis thanks to deranged leftists. I have to show you these woke Londoners,
Starting point is 00:11:40 who literally on camera, without any shame, suggested to his face that Tommy Robinson should die while hectoring him in Trafalgar Square before swearing like troopers as they proved they had no argument whatsoever. You are these ones. Paul Pell told me to say hello. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me, why should I die?
Starting point is 00:12:06 Oh, you're disgusted. Why should I die? Go away. Get away from your fucking races. Go away. Get away from that racist, stop. What have I said this racist? Go back to school.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Go back to school. You're the one acting like a school child. You're walking past shouting that I should die. You know? Can you explain why I should die? Go away. Go away. You shouted at me.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Yeah, you're disgusting. Why am I disgusting? Fuck off. So you've got no argument. Fuck off. What is the argument then? Why is the argument? Go back to school. I should. This is your argument. This is your argument. You shout someone should die and then you run away. We're not running away. Why should I die? Why should I be, why should I be killed?
Starting point is 00:12:46 You are just... Because I have a different opinion to you. I should be killed. Do you actually have any argument? No argument at all, no. No argument, no knowledge, no credible argument, just in most. Why should I die? Why should I die? You're all fucking annoying. So I should die? Yeah. So you kill people that are annoying to you? You believe in freedom of speech here? No? I didn't think so.
Starting point is 00:13:06 And it is interesting because Tommy says actually any of the lefters who actually shout these death wishes at him have no argument afterwards. That is your average person who, any person that shouts stuff at me actually have no argument at all. When I say, well, why?
Starting point is 00:13:23 Why? If I think someone should die, I'd have a reason why. Not just screaming why. That's an indoctrinated liberals. The political and MSM reaction to Danny Tomo becoming a political prisoner today has been depressingly muted. So I am going to give credit to those few people bravely speaking out, including Restore Britain Leader Rupert Lowe. He raged
Starting point is 00:13:44 Danny Tomo has been refused bail again. After yesterday's events, it is a filthy disgrace. I find it very difficult to understand how space can be found for Danny Tomo to remain in custody, yet we are releasing violent offenders early. I simply cannot see how there is any justification for it. Also, well done. To reform you, Shadow Home Secretary Robert Jenrick, who posted in the last 24 hours of two-tier Britain, the Prime Minister risked prejudicing Danny Tomo's court case. I'll show you that in just a bit, by calling him racist. He's been denied bail. Meanwhile, the five RAF-based terror suspects have been released on bail despite a major incident being declared, and Burnham is refusing to comment.
Starting point is 00:14:23 It looks insane on the face of it. Now, more controversial is Nigel Farage, getting in on the act, but many patriots saying they just can't take him seriously. So he wrote, how is it that Danny Tomo sits in a cell while if five suspected terrorists are out on bail? Is this two-tier Britain or am I missing something? Well, the male's Labour columnist Dan Hodges raged in response, as I said, nothing to do with Britain's national security, but also this proves who reform are building their political strategy around now Danny Tomo supporters given up trying to construct a winning majority.
Starting point is 00:14:59 yet also on the right many folk weren't by Infrager's argument either with Restore Britain's Montgomery Tom's writing directly to Nigel pipe down new unprincipled bought and sold cretinas traitor Now why has there been this response Unfortunately it was because Nigel first reacted
Starting point is 00:15:22 to Danny Tomo and the Patriot Platform's protests as disgusting We're also about Dover today. It's been barricaded by hundreds of masked individuals. What do you make of that? What's going on? Disgusting. Nobody in any political protest,
Starting point is 00:15:42 whether they're on the left or the right, should appear in balaclavas. It is wrong. It's sinister and worrying for people there. It's horrible. There's families in cars on the waiting on the M20 to get on holiday and they see all this happening around them. Disgusting.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Disgusting. And we know. how Richard Tice feels about that lot and Tommy Robinson, something he almost spat with disdain while being quizzed by Camilla Tomone on G.B. News. Tommy Robinson, people have been protesting in his name. What do you make of Tommy Robinson? Is he a good guy in your eyes? No. No. He, no, all of that lot. We have nothing to do with them. What, even the protesters who have got banners up saying two tier care, you agree with them on the policing and justice. We, we agree with ourselves. I'm not aligning ourselves with Tommy Robinson's lot in any shape or form.
Starting point is 00:16:28 So this is the problem, isn't it? It is now a huge problem because there needs to be unity on the right that Danny Tomo must be freed, that he is a political prisoner. UKIP leader, Nick Tenconi illustrated this outrageous example of two-tier justice in an exclusive video for outspoken. Hamoud al-Sahimi raped a 12-year-old girl. No prison time, 180 hours community service. just one example of so many of migrant terrorists getting off on the most heinous of crimes. Brother Daniel punctured a dinghy in an attempt to stop invaders from crossing the channel. Instant jail, no bail, and he's potentially being held on remand until 2007.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Britain has become a two-tier police state. Now, outside of politics, and in terms of direct action, the right must stick together and all must follow the rules so that husbands and fathers stay alive and out of jail whilst protesting injustice. We know the state is against us. My hand remains extended to all community leaders in Britain to get in touch and allow me to lead you to victory. We must all pray for Daniel and for his family and may God protect him. Katie Hopkins has also just given us her breakdown of today's shocking news.
Starting point is 00:17:50 As you will have heard, Danny Tomo has been back in court day and been placed back in bail, despite him offering a series of conditions that would have made it possible for him to return home. He would have lived under those conditions in order that he could get back to his family, but he's now back in jail again. He will remain there most likely until his trial date, which is looking like March 27. A couple of important things. Danny said he wanted to take direct action to stop the boats, and he was a man of his word, and he did what he said.
Starting point is 00:18:33 The second important thing is he's motivated not by some darkness. He's not motivated by hatred of something. He is not, as lazy people are labelling him, an anti-migrant activist. No. He's a pro-family British national, and he has a family to defend, and that's what he was standing up for. But Katie, who I believe is in America at the moment, said there is a huge amount of attention about this case across the pond.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Firstly, Danny is now part of a show trial, which has international level interest. And where I am currently in America, Danny Tomo's name is known. This case has the eyeballs of the law. world on it. Secondly, very importantly, Danny has some excellent allies. So he has Tommy Robinson with his lived experience of handling prison, handling the outside and marshalling resources in the way that he knows Danny needs him. You could not ask for a better person to be on the outside, helping you on the inside. And I think very importantly, he has an excellent wider team
Starting point is 00:19:51 of citizen journalists who want to help have his voice heard. And that is a tremendous multiplier effect when you're just one guy. And then Katie said the unsayable, but she is right. What is this all about? What is this really all about? The British government wants to provoke a civil war. Apparently the British government is at the point where it wants to force. some sort of civil war in the street. That is the only explanation for the punitive treatment of
Starting point is 00:20:28 the indigenous people of Great Britain right now. I wish Danny Tomo, his family, all the very best. Thank you to everybody who's keeping your eyeballs on him because in that way you keep him safe. And to everybody out there fighting the good fight, they can't lock us all up. And I wish everyone, every best thing. Well, that is true and it is good to end on a positive note, but unfortunately, it is very hard to understand why we have Andy Burnham, the Prime Minister, saying that we can't talk about, and he can't talk about, the RAF Fairford Five terrorist suspects who have been released on bail, while ignoring contempt of court urging from the CPS directly to call Danny Tomo a racist when asked to by the British Bashing Corporation.
Starting point is 00:21:22 One of the leaders of these protests is a man called Danny Tomo. Do you think he's a racist? Well, it's hard to conclude that he's anything other than someone. Well, your home secretary said he was. Has racist. I hesitate always before I, you know, I've not read everything that he said. I've not followed everything that he's done. So I'm just going to say that because I don't just.
Starting point is 00:21:48 throw labels on people, but given everything and the way he's behaving and what he's seeking to whip up, I mean, this is the worst kind of hateful behaviour. So it's not leadership, is it? It's propaganda. Because Donald Trump has made it clear that he does not believe the Fairford Five terrorist suspects should have been released on bail. indeed he says the USA would not have these men on the streets at all what's your reaction
Starting point is 00:22:19 to that and is this connected to a wrong? Might be but I will tell you I would have said don't let them have bail cashless bail I wonder is it cashless bail I guess that was one of the problems that we had
Starting point is 00:22:34 which started the whole mess of crime and we're ending cashless bail but over there I'm surprised that they released them. I wouldn't have done that. Look, they've been very good. They worked with us very closely. We know everything about them. We would not have released them. While Marco Rubio described the situation as extremely serious on Fox News overnight,
Starting point is 00:22:55 which makes the release even more insane. Well, let me preface by saying that I have to be careful. There's some things I cannot say on the air for a lot of different reasons. Suffice it to say that what happened, would almost happen, what could have happened in the UK over the weekend is a very serious situation. It's one that clearly involves the hands of a foreign actor. I won't get into great detail about that yet. I do want to thank the authorities in the United Kingdom who have been very cooperative and
Starting point is 00:23:21 on top of it. I know a lot of people are disturbed by the news that some of these people have been released on bail, as it was some of the people who are being investigated and obviously we're engaging with them on all of that. But suffice it to say that beyond that, I would argue, that they've been very cooperative and very helpful on something that's very serious incident. And I think it ties us to the reality here, and that is we are dealing with elements, in the world, and in the case of Iran, for example, who have openly threatened to attack American
Starting point is 00:23:46 interests globally. We're going to always take that very seriously. There'll be repercussions for that if it ever were to happen or even attempted. But what happened this weekend could have been and was, I think, a very serious threat. And I want to thank the UK for their cooperation and their help on it. There's a lot more news that will come out on this in the days to come. But there's only so much I can say right now at this point about it other than this was a very serious thing and it was responded to appropriately. So we're living in a mad world because at Labor Conference today, Andy Burnham is just pretending that none of this is going on at all. Sometimes you need to laugh right though.
Starting point is 00:24:23 So I do appreciate the absurdity summed up by dapper laughs, the absurdity of Danny Tomo being imprisoned while the Fairford Five walk free. I've called this press conference because the public seemed to be confused as to why once again we have denied bail to Danny Tomo for popping a dinghy, but we have released the five terror suspects for the RAF Fairford Incidents. We're now being accused once again of two-tier policing, so I'm here to answer a few questions and tell you why you are wrong. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:24:54 So you bailed terror suspects but imprison a man that slashed a dinghy? How is that not two-tier? GBAH, sir, grievous boat harm. This is a serious offence in the UK. A potential terror attack is nowhere near as serious as hate-crime. against inflating. And now, Ezra Levant and Rafe Hadelmanku. Great to have you both.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Ezra Levant from Rebel News. Thank you so much. I know you would be here in the country if you weren't banned by Andy Burnham, which is part of the health scape that we're in. But Ezra, I just want to kick off because I've got a super chat in right now from Theresa Brewer, 2661,
Starting point is 00:25:33 who says, can somebody set up a go-fund meet for him? We need to help his family while he's on remand. This is Sikene. You have gone one better than that, right, Ezra, because you were actually leading a campaign to fund proper legal support for Danny Tomo. So can you explain, first up, exactly what you were doing and how people can help? And also how the legal campaign is going thus far, because of course, this was not the news anyone wanted today. Thanks, Dan, and thanks for having me on. And you're right, I wish I were there in person, but I've been banned by the home office.
Starting point is 00:26:10 which is quite ironic. Disgusting. Because if I just got into a dinghy, I could come in, no questions asked. But being a legal person, they've said, I'm not welcome. We're challenging that in court. As to your question at hand,
Starting point is 00:26:22 unfortunately, I have a little bit of experience helping political prisoners like Tommy Robinson. And I've learned two things that we can only do so much for these guys who are in jail, but the two things that are on their mind is, number one, they want to make sure they have excellent lawyers who are fighting for them, not going to plead them out, not going to take the government side.
Starting point is 00:26:44 We need top counsel, including King's Council, KCs, as barristers. So we've set up a crowd fund for that, just like we used to do for Tommy Robinson. It's at savedanny.com.uk. And that's coming along, but there's a lot of battles ahead. As you know, there's a hearing on November the 12th where Danny's going to enter a plea.
Starting point is 00:27:04 November 22nd, Danny's lawyers have to file a defense brief, And then the trial is on March 1st. It's crazy that he's spending five months in a cell when those terrorists are accused or not. But here's the second thing we're doing. I've had several phone calls with Danny's mother because Danny, of course, was the breadwinner for his family. He's got four kids and a fifth on the way. Who's going to take care of them? So I don't want to get into too many private details, but we're setting up a trust fund for the kids.
Starting point is 00:27:36 managed by the mom, all the money is going to the children. And we've set up a special give-send-go that's different. So if you want to help with the legal battle, go to savedanny.co.uk. But if you want to help the family directly, so again, the grandma, Danny's mom, is going to be in charge of this trust fund just for the kids. Go to danny tamo-children.com. And you'll see we've put that one on a give-send-go site. Again, this is exactly what we did for Tommy when he was in jail for so long.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Tommy told me he could at least have some peace of mind knowing that someone was looking after his family's needs while he was in jail and it allowed him to be a little more confident in his decisions. Last point, Dan, I think the British government may have miscalculated here because by throwing Tommy in prison again and again, they've turned him into a bit of a martyr. and I think that Danny Tomo, who's not as well known as Tommy Robinson, but I think this is going to elevate his status.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Not only is he suffering for the state of the UK, he's serving his country. And I'm not talking about whether or not he's guilty or not guilty. That's up to the judge. But the fact that he would care so much about the UK, do you know, Dan, that Danny Tomo actually served his country in the King's Royal Hussars? He was a tank driver. I mean, this guy served in the British Army.
Starting point is 00:29:05 He served his country, and now he's trying to serve it politically. And without commenting on the charge at hand, this is someone who loves the UK. I love the UK too, and that's why my heartbreaks about the two-tier justice we're seeing. Indeed, indeed. It's heartbreaking all round. It's heartbreaking that we have a government that bans one of the world's great journalists like you from this country. and there is so such limited pushback to it.
Starting point is 00:29:35 It's insane. All of this is completely insane. Do you agree with Tommy Robinson that this might cause the people to revolt or is the government going to win here again, Ezra? Because actually, what you're doing is effectively terrifying or attempting to terrify the Patriot platform into an action.
Starting point is 00:29:55 We'll come for you next. If another leader stands up, Ezra, for example, over the next six months, you're going to be jailed. It takes a huge amount of bravery. And when Danny Tomo has been here on outspoken, he conceded that he thought the British government was going to take him out, and he said that he would not be safe in prison. And he is not in solitary, right? So these are largely prisons with big Muslim populations. Right. Well, you know, I've said this about Tommy Robinson before and I'll say it about Danny Tomo. These two men believe in nonviolent political
Starting point is 00:30:30 change. In my view, they're keeping young men especially, working class men especially, but all sorts of people, people from all walks of life, keeping them in the system to try and affect change peacefully through rallies, through protests. I think that Andy Burnham might not realize it, Shabana Mahmood might not realize it, but Danny and Tommy are trying to keep disgrunted and disaffected people engaged in democracy peacefully. They're a force for good. If you take out the Danny Thomas and the Tommy Robinson's, what you're saying to people is you have no hope in the system.
Starting point is 00:31:11 If you come up with leaders, we'll jail them. If you make arguments, we'll censor them. If you have rallies, we'll disperse them with police batons. And so Danny Tomo is actually not an enemy of democracy. He's the man keeping hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of people, still engaged in the system, hoping that they can convince people. Danny and Tommy are peaceful activists. If they're removed, God help us, what will take their place.
Starting point is 00:31:42 And Esra, did the legal team have any expectation that Danny Tomo was potentially going to be granted bail today? And well I don't want to give I don't want to give away privileged comments from the lawyers I should say that Carson Kay are his solicitors and they know this kind of work called they've been representing Tommy for many years and the Kings Council the KC which is the most senior barrister you can find Simon Pentel you know I don't want to speak for him but I think that they were surprised they couldn't get bail
Starting point is 00:32:14 I'm worried that the judge is applying a political lens Remember, Danny Tomo is not officially being prosecuted for his political views or his political organizing. If you look at it on paper, he is on trial. He's being charged with piercing a dinghy, not a political view or political statement. I fear that the judge was actually becoming quite political and winking and saying, well, you know, it's for these reasons when in fact it was to take him off the street. Let me give you one more example. Today's judge was James Newton Price,
Starting point is 00:32:51 but the first judge who heard Danny's bail hearing a few days ago was Tan Ikram. And he obviously is a lawyer of Muslim faith, which is fine. You can uphold the king's laws. But there's something about Tan Akram. He had several people who were convicted of terrorism offenses. He let them go without any jail time. So Tan Ikram, who put Danny Tomo in jail, granted no jail, quick release, to three people convicted of terrorism offenses.
Starting point is 00:33:26 And you've heard it from better people than me. There is a two-tier justice system, and that erodes public confidence. You cannot bring the justice system into disrepute and expect people to comply. It's the same rule with policing. Remember, Sir Robert Peel's rules of policing, you've got to maintain the moral support of the community, If you lose that, you've lost it all. I worry that the conduct of the police, the prosecutors, and the judges is making a whole swath of the UK lose respect for the law.
Starting point is 00:34:00 Well, indeed, stay with us, Ezra, because I just want to bring Rafe Hedalman Koo in on this as well. Because, Raif, the political angle of this is that the Home Secretary Shabana Mac Mood just a week before Danny Tomo faced the aris. And these are her exact words, Raif, to the government. newspaper, she called Danny Tomo a, quote, far right and outright racist who will, quote, feel the full force of the law. So it very much felt like this was some type of setup coming from the Labour government. That's precisely what it is. And of course, we have echoes there precisely of what we heard during the Southport protest. You'll remember, then Prime Minister Kirstama
Starting point is 00:34:46 spoke out against all of those average men and women who were worried about what was happening on the streets of their country when they saw Axel Ruder Cabana murder those young girls. And these innocent, decent people were called far-right thugs before anybody had been charged, convicted, or had gone to trial.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Now, we in this country, unlike America, of course, where the media outlets are very free to opine and speculate, in this country, of course, politicians always say, well, I cannot offer an opinion. I cannot speak about this because of the sensitivity of the issue before the courts. We're hearing that now about the Fairford Five. But suddenly, whenever it's to deal with the right or the alleged far right,
Starting point is 00:35:26 suddenly it's gloves off and they feel free to speak as they want to. You know, Ezra Levant is absolutely right here. This is utterly politically motivated. Remanding someone in custody for months on end before trial is only supposed to happen for individuals who post an immediate severe danger. or represents an extreme flight risk. And that is not what's happening here. This is political.
Starting point is 00:35:51 He is a political prisoner. There is no threat to the public from somebody who organizes mass protest, which has done peacefully. And that's what he's done. What we've seen so far are peaceful protests organized by him. Opposition to mass immigration is lawful. Opposing small boat crossings is lawful. Organizing demonstrations is lawful. But the state, once.
Starting point is 00:36:15 to clamp down on that because the only way you can keep this mass immigration ban wagon on the road is by silencing the truth tellers. And the way you do that is by basically stamping down on those people who are drawing attention to what's really happening in this country and through that intimidate others to say, don't you dare to out of line or you're going to experience the same thing. Indeed. And Ezra, just finally, are you challenging your ban from the UK? That is a legal process. Where is that at? What can you say about it? Well, let me break a little bit of news for you here. Please. We actually filed our lawsuit against the home office a couple of weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:36:58 And in fact, just this morning, I got an update from my lawyer about the timing. And I'm just calling it up on my computer while we're chatting. The home office has a certain period of time to reply. And then we get a reply to that. I have it in front of me here. The home office has 21 days from the date we served them, which was 12 days ago. So they have until October the 8th to file an acknowledgement of service, and obviously they're going to fight us.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Anyway, there's a back and forth procedural. I won't bore you with the details, but it is very much moving forward. So you're taking Shabana McMood's department to court effectively? Yes, and I actually, a quick anecdote, I paid a thousand pounds to have a quick review of my visa application. That was back in May. They refused to give me an answer, yes or no. So our lawsuit is proceeding because they're obviously, I guess they're afraid to deny me, but they don't want to accept me. I don't want to get lost in the weeds here, Dan, but it's sort of crazy that a law-abiding journalist like myself who's never committed to,
Starting point is 00:38:12 crime, never been charged with a crime, never been on public assistance, never called for violence. I'm banned from the UK, a country I love so much, but anyone on a dinghy gets in. The craziest part of this Danny Tomo story is that everyone else in the scene was breaking some law. None of them were charged. The migrants are getting free lawyers. The Coast Guard and the Royal Navy was bringing these guys in. And Danny is the one who's charged.
Starting point is 00:38:43 It's upside down world. Last point, Dan, what happens if America notices? Obviously, Britain has to make its own decisions. But I'm worried that the United States is starting to think the UK isn't a moral ally anymore, isn't a values-based ally anymore. And they took notice of Tommy Robinson. They might see a trend here. I hope that the U.S. and the UK stay best friends.
Starting point is 00:39:09 But I'm worried that the way civil liberties are being violated in the UK, I'm hoping that doesn't yield a reaction from America. And Ezra, can you please just remind us of those two websites, lots of people in the live chat asking, again, for those website addresses, the first to support Danny Tomo's legal proceedings, the second to support his children. Please just remind us of those website addresses. Thanks. If you want to help pay for this top-notch legal team, go to Save Danube. Danny.co.uk. And I can vouch for them. I've worked with John Carson and Carson K for years. They're excellent.
Starting point is 00:39:47 If you want to help the kids, just the kids, not the lawyers, not even Danny, we've set up a trust fund just for the children. Go to danny tamo-children.com. And I just wrote Danny a letter today. You can send him a letter through the prison email system. I told him we're going to take care of these things because I want his mind to be at ease. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders. The least you and I can do is to relieve him of the two main stresses that he'll be feeling. Is my lawyers being paid and are my
Starting point is 00:40:23 family being taken care of? Let's put Danny at ease so he can focus on winning his battle while we take care of the kids. Absolutely. Ezra Levant, the founder of Rebel News, one of the world's best journalists currently disgracefully banned from the United Kingdom. Breaking today, Andy Burnham's War on Patriots as Labor has just been exposed for branding everything that's great about Britain, right? Like war mail in an afternoon pub, in the country with the Labrador. That is now officially, according to Labor, a far-right fan. A far-right fan. So we're going to get into everything that Andy Burnham has outlined as he continues his socialist destruction of the country in just one moment. But actually to me, the real story that proves that
Starting point is 00:41:20 this government truly are the enemy of the people is this one. Broken today about the Labor Minister, Jenny Riddle Carpenter, who at conference says that all of this was just a far-right fantasy. Indeed, this beautiful vision of Britain never existed at all. Carpenter was appointed as a minister in July. This secret recording was made at a fringe meeting of the party's conference. She says that she has kept awake at night, not about the illegal invasion of this country, not about the cascading welfare bill, but rather about how the far right are going to weaponise the countryside to win the next election. Listen. I do believe that the next election is going to be fought on a battle line of nature and
Starting point is 00:42:10 rural affairs and that would be the far right deciding and determining what that looks like. And it will be a vision, a nostalgic vision of Britain that never really existed. It'll be that warm ale, a black lavender door by your feet in a pub that doesn't exist. And it'll be a variant, it'll be with symbolism, the fox hunting all around them. It'll be a very far right nostalgic vision of Britain that we don't want it to have. It never really existed. never really existed. Okay, the Daily Mail has dug up official figures and disagreed. Christian Calgi reporting around 9.5 million people live in rural settlements. That's according to
Starting point is 00:42:43 the 2021 census amounting to around 17% of the population. According to official registers, the Labrador was the most registered dog breed in the UK last year with nearly 30,000 fresh additions to the Royal Kennel Club's record, making it the most popular in the country and nearly four times more popular than the French Bulldog. And while like, Labor is attempting a fresh crackdown on trail, hunting, threatening up to 1,000 jobs in the countryside. It continues to bring £100 million into the rural economy every year. That is according to the Countryside Alliance. Quite rightly, Carpenter's outburst and Liverpool sparked a furious rebuke from the Conservative Party chairman Kevin Hollenrake,
Starting point is 00:43:22 who posted a picture enjoying those things that she told him were just a far right fantasy. I love that. And he told The Daily Mail, Labor think the countryside, the party, pub, the dog and the people who love them are far right. Labor is taxing the pub out of existence as part of a sustained attack on the countryside with almost two closing every date. That is far more pressing cause of insomnia. Conservatives will always stand up for rural Britain for the pub, the farm, the countryside and most importantly the people who keep going. Andy Burnham should make his minister apologize to every one of them. But of course, he won't do that. But for Mike
Starting point is 00:44:01 Jones, this is a mask-off moment for Labor. He says people will not forget it. But the problem is, I don't think Labor actually give it up. They are in such a hard left bubble at the conference in Liverpool that Ed Miliband was ambushed by the pro-Pally mob while having dinner at a pizza express, yet seems to be sympathetic to their cause. And again, I just imagine, just imagine for a second that Danny Tomo, that Danny Tomo and the People's Army, the Patriot Platform, had interrupted Ed Miliband while dining at Pizza Express. Do you think he would be treated in this manner? Watch. At Miliband, we would like you to deep as drive Palestine action. We'd like you to declare
Starting point is 00:45:00 the genocide. In Gaza, 200, 100 meters from here, there are 200 people being arrested. If you want to have a conversation with us, come and talk to us as we're being arrested. Please come to talk to us now. Now is a good time to come and have a conversation. There are 200 people being arrested over there because of a decision that your ministers have made and those people are being arrested for peaceful protests in Great Britain in the year of our Lord 2026. And this is for a decision that you and your ministers made, well, you are you, you are arrested for.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Well, you... And they would love to have a conversation right now. They're over there waiting, they're peaceful. There's a load of pensioners there and they're being arrested. If you're not dining in here, they're being arrested for holding pieces of paper, Ed. You understand? I vote you to plead to become needed a Labour Party. I believe in you.
Starting point is 00:46:00 Come and talk to us. You're not listening? No, I don't think I'm allowed to die here. Come and talk to us. All right, guys. I think it's time to go, Jen. Thanks very much. Deprescribed Palestine action.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Deep prescribed Palestine action. So literally you've got a supporter of a terrorist group being given the Kidler Glove treatments. For me, I think the most shocking moment at conference was the fact the biggest chair of all was reserved for Shabana Mahmood, our Muslim Home Secretary, practicing to Kia, literally throwing in open our borders to the third world. We can announce today that from next month we will begin accepting applications from charities and non-profits
Starting point is 00:46:50 to sponsor refugees through our new safe and legal routes. And it went on and on and on. The Palestinians are coming, the Afghans are coming, and it's only patriotic women who are prepared to speak up, like Lauren the insider, who posted this as horrific. As a mother, my sole purpose is to keep
Starting point is 00:47:08 my two young daughters safe. If I cannot do this in England, our anti-British government are actively working to destroy the country and put our British children at risk. And restore Britain's supporter, Lucy White added, this is precisely why there must be no Pakistanis in our parliament. A Muslim Pakistani is flooding our country with infinite Muslim third world as a reckoning is coming. But not if you were at conference today, where Red Rainer, the tax evade. You know the woman who lost her job as deputy prime minister because she didn't pay stamp duty while she downed Praseco and the same. outside of her second or third home or whatever it is. And she returned to state.
Starting point is 00:47:44 She thinks she's bloody Madonna or Taylor Swift. She returned to conference doing, I mean, you couldn't make it up. Thank you, Jay. I don't cry often, but nearly. So good to be back. It's good to be back at conference, back in government, and back here in Liverpool. This country's second city, after Manchester, of course. course. Sorry, Sadiq, that was the Prime Minister's joke. He wrote it, so don't blame me.
Starting point is 00:48:44 I want to start by saying a big thank you to everyone here. Your work got us into government. We wouldn't be here without you. And I certainly wouldn't be here without you. The support received from so many people here over the last year has meant so much to me personally. The Labour movement is a family to me and that's the thing about our movement. We are here not just for ourselves but we're here for each other
Starting point is 00:49:20 and you've been there for me and I'm here for you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it is fucking revolting. It really is. She was sacked for being. a tax avoider, a new socialist, a city. Oh, oh. Anyway, I'm angry before I get to Burnham.
Starting point is 00:49:43 So he kicked off, claiming that he was launching a new era of politics. Today we draw a line on a decade of division. We stopped doom scrolling on posts running Britain down. And we put the country on a new path. Oh, a new era. Mr. Burnham within seconds, though he was back to slagging off the right. The British right talk about taking back control. Never let them forget. They are the ones that gave it away in the first place. And trust me, trust me, what is coming is socialism on speed.
Starting point is 00:50:34 He was slagging off Thatcher, bigging up Gordon Brown, and socialism on speed, as I'm calling it, is going to begin with the National Care Service. We will start laying the ground now for the National Care Service and introduce it in the next Parliament. Louise Casey's review will advise us on exactly how and Yvette and I will seek to build the maximum national consensus around her recommendations. It will be fully funded and not through borrowing.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Conference, I won't pretend some of this won't be difficult. I accept I may pay a political price, but someone has to go through the pain barrier and rip the plaster off. So how is he going to fund the so-called National Care Service, well, by axing the triple lock? But I'll be honest as well.
Starting point is 00:51:37 We promised in our manifesto to keep the triple lock unchanged throughout this Parliament. Parliament. I will honour that promise. I will honour that promise. And I'll do more. I'll do more. That promise will take the state pension to a record high. From there, in April 2030, we will adjust it. The state pension will continue to rise every year at least by prices or 2.5%. And it will hold its value relative to earnings over time so that pensioners will always share in the rising prosperity of the nation. But this change will generate significant savings which we will use to build up our national care service. Now, of course, this bastard has zero mandate for any of this.
Starting point is 00:52:52 But you know, actually, I'm always fair. So if there is something that Andy Burnham says that I agree with, I will support it. And I'm sure there will be a lot of you who are shocked by what I'm about to say. But the one positive for me in this speech was Andy Burnham's pledge to back electoral reform. Now, this is something that for a long time, the left of British politics have claimed will sort of usher in a permanent Labour government. My experience from looking at systems around the world like MMP and New Zealand as that is absolutely not the case. At the moment, New Zealand has a very strong right-wing government because of electoral reform, which means proportional representation, which means you'd have a government, for example, in this country of Restore Britain, Reform UK and the Conservatives working together. So this I support actually, and I know a lot of you will disagree and I'm happy to have that debate, but this I do support.
Starting point is 00:53:50 You have voted twice to support electoral reform. I hear you. I agree with you. And today I am announcing a new National Commission on Electoral Reform. Yeah, I think the chat are getting it actually. Matthew 2201. First Pass the Post works for the Uni Party. Always, exactly.
Starting point is 00:54:17 We want to smash the Uni Party, so we've got to get proportional representation and where every vote matters. But overall, this speech was a disaster. Burnham seemed to performatively break down in tears. Did you see this? Where I can't agree with others, I will fight hard for what I believe to be right
Starting point is 00:54:38 and what I believe to be in the best interests of this country. And it seemed to be building up to using his dead dad to make a political point about the union. On the day my dad died, the Scottish First Minister said I would be the last Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. I quote that not to seek sympathy, nor to criticise John Swinney. I don't think he knew the news at the time. And anyway, my dad, Roy, would have been the first to defend his right to say it. I relay it because I want you to know.
Starting point is 00:55:43 how it made me feel, utterly determined to prove him wrong. And then the speech ended with the most treacherous moment of all. And the fact that the mainstream media are not trumpeting this, as a complete disgrace proves that they're all in the tank. To reverse, you know what's coming, to reverse the biggest democratic vote in British history. Burnham, mark my words on this, I've been saying it for years, wants to rejoin the European Union.
Starting point is 00:56:21 This is an outrage. We have to be honest. Brexit hasn't given us control. We've lost some of the control we had over our economy as a decade of low growth has put us in a weaker position. And we've lost some of our control over immigration. At its most fundamental level, this is a debate about fairness. So I understand the anger about what's happening in the channel.
Starting point is 00:56:58 Shabana has done a great job in restoring our grit over the system. So, Rafe Hidal, Mancoo, this was a very important speech. It was a seismic speech. I mean, I'm not trying to deny that. Huge, huge policy announcements from a man who up until this point has got away without showing his hand at all. But what he is ushering in, Rafe, is a full-on social. country. We cannot deny that anymore. Socialism on speed is coming. I mean, I already feel like we are living in a socialist country, Rafe, but this is only about to get worse. And then he just
Starting point is 00:57:40 throws that grenade in at the end, which is, trust me, building up to rejoin the European Union. Probably, Rafe, I would argue, the plan is to do so without even a referendum. And all of a sudden, you think about Katie Hopkins, talking about this government wanting civil war. And personally, I find it hard to avoid that conclusion. What is your take on this speech, Rafe? Well, we know that sadistic Khan himself has actually been encouraging Andy Burnham to avoid a referendum on rejoining the EU and simply make it part of the manifesto. Look, I was one of the key voices saying that Kirst Stalmer must go. But each time I said that, I caveat it.
Starting point is 00:58:25 And I said, but we have to be wary. is this a case of better the devil you know? And I said it could be the case that actually we will look back and say, well, Stama at least wasn't as socialist as what's coming down the road. And of course, any pretence that Labour wasn't a hard left party has now gone out of the window. Kirstarmer was at least, you know, trying to make decisions that perhaps were somewhat in the national interest.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Each time he did something half good, he'd have to do a U-turn because his backbenchers simply wouldn't have it. There's none of that now even with Andy Burnham. He wants to be a people pleaser. But who are the people he wants to please? They are his hard left backbenchers, and they are the people that we saw in the conference. And we must all acknowledge now.
Starting point is 00:59:09 We are being governed by a socialist party that not only wants to take us back into the hellhole we were in in the 70s, but which actually loathes traditional Britain. That's why you're seeing this attack on the countryside, for example. They hate the countryside because it is the very epitome of the English character or the Scottish character. If you ask an Englishman or a Welshman to define what it means to be Welsh or English to conjure up an image, they would automatically think about the countryside because there's such a deeply visceral connection. They can't stand that.
Starting point is 00:59:43 They're trying to create a new Britain with new myths that has always been multicultural, that diversity has built Britain. And of course, part of this is to bring, drag Britain back. into the European Union. But as Andrew Neal correctly pointed out on question time last week, it's a very different European Union today to the one that we left in 2016. Europe is stagnant. Our growth is faster than the growth in France, in Germany, in Italy. Why would we want to go back into a situation? We'll be further shackling ourselves. There's no plan for growth here. You know, we could fund a national care system if we didn't have more money being spent on welfare
Starting point is 01:00:24 then we're taking in an income tax. If we didn't have Shabana Mahmood saying, no, it's fine to come here for five years and then get indefinite leave to remain, claim benefits, claim social housing. The lifetime cost of that, according to the Reform Party, is $154 billion. That's the price of the Boris wave of the Tory party
Starting point is 01:00:45 that betrayed this nation. And unfortunately, there is no appetite in Andy Burnham to give the British public and his Labour Party the real truth that they need to hear. This country is virtually bankrupt. We need somebody who isn't a people pleaser, but we'll tell people you need to take this medicine. The medicine tastes bad, but it's necessary.
Starting point is 01:01:07 100%. Absolutely. And the problem that we've got, Rafe, is that there is absolutely, I mean, there's not even a scintilla of desire to cut welfare or to stop the invasion. So we know the National Care Service is going to be another black hole. And again, I just stress that what is being ushered in here is full on socialism. I mean, how on earth, Rafe?
Starting point is 01:01:36 I mean, you're so right to talk about that trying to rewrite history. So, you know, Britain never had a countryside with pubs. That's one. But they're also trying to rewrite political history too, Rafe. I mean, honestly, if you were a historian watching that speech today, you would have thought that Margaret Thatcher was a failed primary. who served half a term, and that Gordon Brown was a great triumph, who was in power for over a decade and changed Britain for the better.
Starting point is 01:02:03 I mean, it's quite terrifying the rewriting of history going on here. Yes, we'll remember, you know, yeah, there are problems with Margaret Thatcher. I don't, you know, she should have created an alternative industry from the north of England after she closed down the coal mines and so forth. But remember this. If it wasn't for Margaret Thatcher, we would be a basket case. You know, it's 50 years ago this week that Dennis Healy, rather than our current Mr. Healy, was when he was Chancellor, who went to the IMF, the International Monetary Fund, with cap in hand,
Starting point is 01:02:38 how humiliating for Britain to actually have to take a handout for the IMF because Labour and the unions had bankrupted ourselves. And all of that has been rewritten. And the people who hate Margaret Thatcher the most are people who were, born after she left office. People who have no experience of what Margaret Thatcher actually did for this country. The difference between Margaret Thatcher and our current political pygmies is she was able to look the British people in the eye and make herself unpopular. True leadership is being unpopular when you're in the middle of an existential crisis. Nobody now is willing to be unpopular. As Churchill once said, it's very hard for a nation to look up to a person who always has their ear to the ground. The
Starting point is 01:03:21 problems we face now, though, are so much worse than in the 1970s. All countries go from economic peaks to economic troughs and back again. But as long as the population is homogenous, is the same culture, comes from the same background, you can save yourself. But the crisis we in face now is not only economic, it's also cultural and its demographic because of mass immigration. Once you've lost your population, once it's been replaced, there's no coming back. In the 70s, we needed one Thatcher to deal with the economy. Now we need three Margaret Thatchers, one to deal with the economy, one to deal with the culture and the woke left, and one to deal with immigration. And I look at the political horizon and the landscape, and I don't see anybody ready to raise
Starting point is 01:04:05 themselves up to that challenge. No, indeed, sadly not. Rafe, do stand by, because I just want to bring you some breaking news. This is in regards to the ongoing terror investigation involving the Fairfoot Five, who remember are released on bail. According to the Sun newspaper, terror cops have now raided homes in London as part of this ongoing probe into the suspected bonplop. Officers also have confirmed that a quantity of petrol had been recovered from vans found outside the Gloucestershire base in the early hours of Sunday morning. This update has come again from Lawrence Taylor. He is the head of National Counterterrorism Policing in the UK. The assistant commissioner said on the record, as part of the investigation, we have searched properties in London,
Starting point is 01:05:03 which I can confirm have concluded. The events over the last few days have reaffirmed that the public play a crucial role in the work that we do. And I want to thank those who have contacted the police with information. A police response was activated in the early hours of Sunday morning due to range of information received, including a call from a member of the public about several vehicles acting suspiciously close to RAF Fairford. Those vehicles have been subjected to extensive examination with the support of military assets and forensic experts. We can confirm that no improvised explosive devices were found, however, a quantity of petrol was recovered. Yesterday, we released the five men on police bail. They remain under investigation and must adhere to strict conditions
Starting point is 01:05:48 while we continue our work. The safety of the public is at the forefront of our investigative decision making, and this was certainly the case yesterday. So I just repeat that the Fairford Five, Rafe, are out on bail of free, despite these searches going on while Danny Tomo has been remanded in custody. Can you get your head around this case at all, Rafe, and what is going on? No, I mean, it does seem to me as if perhaps what was happening, here rather than a terror attack to have a bomb.
Starting point is 01:06:21 We could have been dealing with an arson attempt. There could have been an attempt to set fire to something at the base. It could have been a dry run, you know, where Streeting gave very veiled comments that perhaps there was more to this picture than the person who reported it that Lady Farmer knew. Of course, we've had from Marco Rubio and Donald Trump the suggestion that they knew there was more, much more going on here. So perhaps actually our intelligence services were monitoring these traps
Starting point is 01:06:45 to see what they were doing. and they actually didn't want the police to be called because they were just trying to see what was happening, perhaps, on a dry run. We don't know. We can only speculate. What we do know, of course, is that MI5 in recent years have thwarted no fewer than 20 attempts by the Iranian government to actually cause arson attacks, sabotage, and, in fact, kidnappings as well. We've had attacks, of course, you will remember earlier this year on Jewish. synagogues on Jewish centers, on Jewish ambulances. We've also had Iranian dissidents over here targeted and attacked. We've had the Iranian IRGC also launching attacks on Persian language television as well. So there is a concerted effort made now by the Iranians to try to destabilize and launch
Starting point is 01:07:38 attacks in this country. We have to view these things in that context. It's interesting also that these people are being called British nationals, but they haven't qualified that by saying British born. So we don't know actually whether they've come over here as migrants or something else and taken British citizenship. Normally, as with the Welsh choir boy, they're very quick to tell us when they're British born. So there are questions to be said there, but it is all deeply worrying. And I just wish we were more like the Americans and the British government would come forward and give us more information. Otherwise, we are left wondering why it is that Danny Thomas is in in remand just for slashing a boat,
Starting point is 01:08:17 whereas these people have been released on allegedly stringent bail conditions, but we know the lawyer for Danny Thomas said that he was willing to go under stringent conditions, to wear a tag, and yet all of that was denied. Exactly, to not post on social media. He was going to agree not to be, I think, within two miles of any coastline. All of that he was prepared to agree to. And I do think Rafe is completely right to point out that we still do not know the true reality about whether these men who apparently have a British passport are actually British. And that is part of the debate that's going on at the moment, isn't it?
Starting point is 01:08:56 Because I would argue, Rafe, that, you know, Axel Ruda Gvana may have had a British passport, may have been British born to describe him as British in regards to his crimes as a joke. And you can obviously go further back and look at the... Manchester Arena bombers and the 7-7 bombers, British-born, and the same thing applies. Unfortunately, British-born, British citizenship does not make you British, and you can only look at these heinous crimes to understand that. Breaking today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's UK return has failed. The Palace, both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace, I am told, have now cut contact with the Sussex's official operation.
Starting point is 01:09:47 They are effectively ignoring ongoing demands from Prince Harry and Megan Markle. Now, this news was first broken by the Mail's editor at large, Mail on Sunday's editor at large, Charlotte Griffith. And it was very significant. But I have learned even further to what Charlotte is saying that much of this silence is now connected to Harry and Megan's deliberate attempt to try and influence not just the government of King Charles by this constant hectorine of the Home Secretary Shabana MacMood over their lack of government-funded state security, but also the judiciary too. The King's judiciary, which remember has already made a decision not to grant Prince Harry's security measures. Now you will know, and I'm almost ready to pop the
Starting point is 01:10:36 pop the champagne, right? Hallelujah. Harry and Megan are now threatening to quit the United Kingdom within weeks if they do not get this government-funded security. So for me, the silence from both palaces towards them is a very good thing. This is how Charlotte Griffiths first broke the news on Talk TV Watch. This sounds familiar because when Megan and Harry were part
Starting point is 01:10:58 of the British royal family and living in the UK, there was this persistent rumour that Megan was keeping a very detailed record of every single. single interaction and that courtiers were absolutely terrified of this because they felt that she was using it as some sort of threat that, I mean, this is what the rumor was at the time. So that would, that would sound about right if she's doing it again. But the only thing I'd say about this time is that the record would be very easy to keep because there isn't a lot of interaction.
Starting point is 01:11:26 We're talking like the odd email exchange, the odd phone call here and there because I've spoken to the various people in the palace and they are incredibly guarded. They said they received more messages and emails and letters from Harry and Megan than they respond to. And that sometimes they just completely ignore messages and emails from their team. So, you know, they're both being incredibly guarded with one another, both of the Sussexes and Buckingham Palace. It's just, I still don't think there's much in the way of trust there. So it would make sense if she's keeping a catalogue of the requests. Of course, there isn't any trust.
Starting point is 01:12:03 There shouldn't be any trust. my understanding is that much of this is also official too, because as soon as Prince Harry returned and decided to blow the whistle on further judicial disputes and further disputes with King Charles's government, that went against what he had previously told King Charles, which is that the legal battles were over. Of course, the real royals continue to do great work, and we have seen that over the last 24 hours. I want to show you some amazing new footage that has just come in of William and Catherine, who visited Wakefield. This was a surprise visit actually this afternoon to greet Sir Kevin Sinfield as he completed
Starting point is 01:12:44 the third day of his final seven in seven ultra marathon challenges. This was at the Wakefield Trinity Stadium where the prince told Sinfield he was, quote, so inspiring. And my goodness, he is, isn't he? Sinfield is running seven ultramarathons in seven days in memory of the late Leeds Rhinno teammate who died for a motor neurone disease in 2024. His challenges have now raised more than 11 million pounds for mind charities. The week-long route visits all 12 Super League grounds and finishes at Old Trafford on Saturday before the grand final. And what is particularly
Starting point is 01:13:23 hilarious about it this week is that Princess Anne, who was also with Sinnfield yesterday, proof she was a woman after my own heart by saying there's nothing fun about running. There is no such thing as a fun run. And on that I completely agree with her. I want to bring in royal historian Rafe Hidal Mancou now. Because Rafe, obviously, the work of the real royals is incredibly important. And we've seen that today with William and Catherine. And look, Rafe, we know what is going on here.
Starting point is 01:14:01 prepared to say it, and I fully back it, by the way, William and Catherine are making a lot of joint appearances at the moment because they understand that there is a clear and present threat to the British monarchy posed by the chaos that we have seen from Prince Harry and Megan Markle's return. And so what they are doing is sort of showing the true reality of royal glamour. We saw it at the film premiere alongside Tom Cruise as well. So I'm liking the fact that they are doing these joint engagements. But of course, Harry and Megan do provide a risk to the British royal family, Rafe. And I am fully behind the palace, whether the king is actually totally in cahoots with them,
Starting point is 01:14:48 I'm not sure, but I'm fully behind both palaces saying, look, you may be back, but you are now trying to influence the government again over the security stuff. we cannot have official communication with you as if you are members of the royal family. As the Lord Chamberlain made clear, Rave, the palace, and not just the palace, but also all sort of official arms of the British government now have to treat them as private individuals. Yes, and we have to remember exactly what the Lord Chamberlain said there. This was such an important statement to say that they are not members to be deemed members. members of the royal family. And in fact, most importantly, the palace said, if anybody, if any institution has any queries about the status of Harry and Megan, not to contact Harry
Starting point is 01:15:39 and Megan, but to contact the Buckingham Palace. And the royal household will tell you exactly where they are in the pecking order and what they are and aren't entitled to. They cannot continue to act in Britain, a kingdom as they were in Montecito in an American Republic. You know, is far more consequential how they behave and how they act here. Because remember, it is His Majesty's government. The courts are His Majesty's Courts. You're interfering with the constitution of this land. And as a son of the king, it's constitutionally damaging.
Starting point is 01:16:13 It's damaging to the monarchy to be seen to be in any way trying to exert influence and using your status and your privilege. They have made their decisions. They chose to abandon the royal family. they've been told in no uncertain terms that they can't be one half in and half out. The model that they did in Australia with these pseudo-royal tours, they thought somehow they could continue. They cannot have a rival court in this country as they have elsewhere.
Starting point is 01:16:40 And if they don't like it, well, they can lump it and leave. And I think the palace can no longer trust them at all. I mean, we've even had, of course, Harry knew for well when he was being, toying with the idea of staying with the king in one of the raw residences, it was going to come at the same time as the judgment from the courts on whether he wasn't held to security. And of course, Harry then made that terrible statement against the courts. Imagine if you had criticised a judge when you were staying in one of the raw residences and one of the royal palaces. He's an absolute liability
Starting point is 01:17:12 and the palace understands that. Yeah, I really hope they do, Rafe. I really hope they do. It's positive signs, I think. I'm the only only thing, I'm the only, I really hope they do. I really hope they do. I really hope they do. reason I just slightly hesitate is because Sir Clive Auditon did make that phone call to the Ugandan government to get them to reverse the Invictus Games withdrawal. So I am hopeful that the palace is not going to invade on that too much. And I think these are very good early signs. Raph, I also want to talk to you about Earl Spencer and his book, Swampson, which I actually think turned into a bit of a disaster for Princess Diana's brother and Penguin, the publisher, after the book was basically destroyed by these revelations that he had told provable lies about Pierce Morgan, which he had
Starting point is 01:18:05 to apologize for, and it really undermined the claims that he had made about King Charles. But what's very interesting, Rafe, is that overnight, Spencer has appeared on CBS television in the United States alongside, oh, guess who, Rafe? Megan Markle's friend, Gail King. And you'll remember, Gail is the BFF of Oprah Winfrey. She's always been a big defender of Megan Markle. And it is becoming increasingly clear.
Starting point is 01:18:32 I mean, I'll show you the answer, Rafe. But to me, it is now becoming increasingly clear that Prince Harry was in on all of this, really. And Spencer does acknowledge that he did know about the book and that they have had a conversation since, something that he can't say when it comes to Prince William. So I'll get your reaction, but I want to play you this softball interview first
Starting point is 01:18:54 between Megan's BFF, Gail King, and Princess Diana's brother, Earl Spencer. Have you talked to William and Harry before the book came out that you were going to do it, or have you talked to them after? I'm curious about their reaction to your book. I decided not to have anyone involved in the book, so nobody knew about it, except my wife, obviously,
Starting point is 01:19:13 and the publishers. I didn't tell any of the family until just before it was released publicly as a thing, because I didn't want anyone to think, particularly with Harry, who people know I had to stay in the summer, that he was in any way involved in this. It was really important for me that they weren't. Have you talked to them after the book? I've told them both. Yes, I have.
Starting point is 01:19:33 Do they approve of the book? I don't know about it. I haven't asked about approval. Harry was sort of like, is there anything in there that would be embarrassing to me? I said, absolutely not. I'm very specific about people's privacy. No, it's very complimentary to both William and Harry. I'm sorry, Rafe. I'm not buying it.
Starting point is 01:19:52 Prince Harry was at Althorpe with Megan in the summer. And now Gail King just happens to be doing the first live TV interview where she doesn't ask any difficult question whatsoever. I'm sorry, I believe this was, I'm going to go as far to say, a conspiracy cooked up between Earl Spencer and Prince Harry to damage the British Royal Family and also make it much easy for Harry to release his own documentary on Princess Diana next year. Do you agree?
Starting point is 01:20:19 You're absolutely correct. I mean, to use Gail King's platform, Spencer's absolutely just shown what side of the role, you know, divide he's on, that he's, you know, you don't choose that person if you don't have some advance idea of the sort of response you're going to get from them. And of course, he used that platform as well to accuse the king of gaslighting him, right? This is an outrageous attack.
Starting point is 01:20:41 This is deliberately designed to undermine the monarchy. And the idea that, you know, we're supposed to believe that Prince Harry with whom he stayed at Altrip very recently, spent four years crying about his childhood in spare, and he had no idea that his uncle was writing a book on exactly the same sort of territory. I mean, you have to be really naive to believe something like that. This is why Harry doesn't actually need to write a sequel to spare
Starting point is 01:21:07 because his uncle has just done the job for him, has done the job of trying to trash his father. And I think it's just denying Harry's involvement, is just some sort of flimsy, you know, smoke screen to protect them from, you know, accusations of collusion. But I think the fingerprints of the Sussex PR team are all over this. Indeed. There is also some feeling, Rafe, that Spencer has almost tried to dismiss Prince William's grief
Starting point is 01:21:37 after Princess Steiner's death and really focused on Prince Harry opinionated Russian, excuse me, writing the way in which Charles Spencer keeps highlighting only Harry's grief and turmoil while talking about the brothers, while completely dismissing William as if he isn't even there as he-ness. And it does lead me to believe that Harry was involved with the writing of this book. Now that is in reference to this other segment of the Gail King interview, Rafe. Let's watch this together.
Starting point is 01:22:05 Family assumed that you all could have a private burial, because they had been separated for many years, divorced officially a year. You all thought you would have a private burial with just the family, but Buckingham Palace said, no, we want this to be a public thing. But that is not what the family wanted, and you certainly didn't want William and Harry walking behind their mom's coffin. You said Diana would not have wanted that. Take us through that conversation.
Starting point is 01:22:29 Well, the first part, yes, I know it looks naive now, but we assumed we'd lent Diana to the world as a family, and now we could bury her privately as a family. And then we realized that was not okay because the public, the world needed to say goodbye to her. What the world didn't need, and I think everyone agrees now, is for William and Harry to be forced to walk behind their mother's coffin. I think William was 15, Harry was 12, and he was a dot, if you remember. It's very little, yeah. Yeah, and I was, when I was told by Buckingham Palace, they're going to walk behind Diana's coffin. I said, well, no, they're not.
Starting point is 01:23:04 And I felt quite able to speak on Diana's behalf because she'd left me as their guardian. You knew she would not have wanted that. No mother in the world would want that. And Diana was a really brilliant mother, and I knew there's no way she'd want that at all. So I thought that, I listened to Prince Charles trying to justify it. It made no sense to me at all. But then you were told the boys wanted to walk. I was told that.
Starting point is 01:23:26 a lot of us were told things that meant it would happen. So I was told William and Harry now wanted to, and they'd have the comfort of their paternal grandfather being there, Prince Philip, married to the queen. Did you believe that? I actually said, I made a note at the time, as long as they haven't been dragooned into it, as in forced into it.
Starting point is 01:23:45 And only afterwards did we all work out what the truth was. But anyway, no kids should have to do that in front of the world. OK, Rafe. So did we all work it out afterwards? No. Charles Spencer and Prince Harry have claimed to work it out afterwards. Now, I'm interested in your view on this as a historian because I almost feel, Rafe, the walk behind the coffin, the procession behind the coffin is being used now as the reason for Prince Harry's mental trauma. Let's just get real about it. Prince Harry has a whole load of issues. But of course, the real problem was not walking behind the coffin. It was the fact that his mother had just died. So I think there is quite. Quite a lot of diversion about that. And is there also not a historic argument, Rafe,
Starting point is 01:24:29 that this is something that members of British royal families have done to pay tribute to close relatives in the past. And if they hadn't been given that opportunity, maybe you could say it was something they would have felt they missed out on. I mean, I'm not saying they should have been forced to do it, Rafe, against their will. But I just think this hyper focus from Prince Harry is if this particular moment destroyed.
Starting point is 01:24:55 his life. I mean, he was still going to have to turn up at the funeral either way. And there was still going to be the eyes of the world on him either way. Yeah, look, give me a break, right? Well, we're getting into the history for a moment. But, you know, 30 years later, to have everyone obsessing about such a, you know, relatively minor issue, I just think is absolutely perverse. Yes, he has mentioned in the past that it was something he was deeply troubled by. Yes, I wouldn't personally have put someone so young walking behind behind the coffin. But of course, there is historic precedent for that in relatively recent history, but also much longer. We go, you look at many photographs. You can see all members, male members of the
Starting point is 01:25:35 royal family walking past the coffin of the sovereign or one of their relatives. But come on. I mean, there are people living in this country. You know, my mother's, my grandmother died when my mother was age nine. My mother was all alone at home and her mother just died on the couch unexpectedly. No one knew there was anything wrong with her. There are lots of people who have trauma. My mother didn't go on, never spoke about it, just moved on with her life. This tribe is a prince of living in a world of privilege. And for his uncle, who's supposed to be his guardian and the guardian of Prince William as well, to act in this way is deeply perverse to profiteer over an issue of tragedy, something which, you know, we should be doing our best to move away from for the health of everybody,
Starting point is 01:26:19 obsessing over these things for so many years is the least mentally healthy way to live your lives and I just find the whole thing stinks to high heaven. Yeah, very good point, Ray, very good point. Okay, we're about to reveal today's greatest Britain Union jackass who don't go anywhere. But first, loads of feedback coming in, especially about the British government locking up Danny Tomo while at the same time allowing the Fairford Five out on bail. An Octopus K1X, thank you for the super chat, says the left are disgusting. They don't even fight for a cause as they have no identities to just copy each other.
Starting point is 01:26:56 They hate this country and they hate themselves. Cath Lissenden says of Danny Tomo, his poor children. These lefties are corrupting our democracy. Look at restores canvases. That's election interference. Strawberry atheist, 1977 says Danny's getting support an ex from a lot of people who would never have said anything before but can now see the two terror. And that is what Tommy Robinson was saying earlier, right?
Starting point is 01:27:17 maybe this is going to wake people up. Fierre 9850 says the Prime Minister has prejudiced Danny's case. It should be thrown out on these grounds alone. And speaking of our brilliant friend, Ezra Levant, of Rebel News, chanting palms, says, Ezra Levant is just a great journalist, hence why he was banned from the UK, Freedom of Speech, My Ass.
Starting point is 01:27:44 He talks the truth, so he has to do. be punished. Bert Aitken, thank you for the super chat, says, Courts of Justice my ass, Burnham and his clowns are driving the country to unrest, why Danny was doing what border force and the government should be doing. And
Starting point is 01:28:01 Pud's 5102, says Shibana wears an Islamic necklace, says Allah, and thank you too for the super chat 262, Callum. Okay, a reminder of our Union Jackass nominees. Rafe went Shibana MacMood. All of the reasons discussed, but also the fact that She's opened up these new legal routes for Palestinians and Afghans to flood into the UK.
Starting point is 01:28:21 He also nominated Angela Rainer for the socialist policy for wanting to seize people's homes if they've been empty for six months. And I went for the judge who was keeping Danny Tomo behind bars, Judge James Newton Price KC. And it was a two horse race today, Rafe. It has to be said. And this is very rare, right? Very rare because Angela Rainer only got 8% of the vote. You know, she's usually a big winner. But it was a two horse race.
Starting point is 01:28:44 And unfortunately, I came in second place with Judge James Newton Price. Casey getting 42% of the vote, but it's a win for you, Raif, with Shabana MacMood getting 51% of the vote. But, Rafe, you're nominated for Greatest Britain today, and there is a link to King Charles with this story. Who have you gone for? I've gone for Seranil Fines, the world's greatest living explorer, a great inspiration to everyone, a truly great Britain deserving of his knighthood, a man who, of course, we can't locate him. He's, you know, his wife who there's all sorts of rumors around why he married her, maybe he was forced to.
Starting point is 01:29:21 She's basically put him under different names and different care homes. And the king is now trying to find out also what's happening to his dear friend. And so I think we should all celebrate a great man and hope that there is some happy ending to this very, very sad story. I know, it's extraordinary when you have an apparent caregiver trying to stop the king of the country simply checking in. King Charles just sent one of his footmen, essentially, to try and check in and work out what was going on and was basically given short shrift. Very shocking story. Rafe Hadleman Koo, thank you so much for being here. Rafe is, of course, a fellow of the New Culture Forum.
Starting point is 01:30:00 He is also a royal historian, and you can subscribe to his brilliant YouTube channel too. Thank you so much, Rafe. And thank you for your company today.
