Listen closely.
That's not just paint rolling on a wall.
It's artistry.
A master painter carefully applying Benjamin Moore Regal Select Eggshell with deftly executed strokes.
The roller lightly cradled in his hands, applying just the right amount of paint.
It's like hearing poetry in motion.
Benjamin Moore, see the love.
It won't take long to tell you Neutral's ingredients.
Vodka, soda, natural flavors.
So, what should we talk about?
No sugar added?
Neutral. Refreshingly simple.
No spin, no bias, no censorship. I'm Dan Wotton. This is Outspoken Live, episode number 35.
And shocking CCTV footage has emerged of a Muslim man attacking a helpless woman
who was a waitress at Nando's in front of his hijab-wearing partner. Yet the hapless Met Police in London have admitted they did nothing about it.
In my digest next, I'll explain how this is the ultimate example of two-tier justice in two-tier cares UK,
as the MSM and political establishment continue to obsess over the so-called far right. Also coming up today, over a million new visas were
issued in the past year for migrants to enter the UK. And perhaps for very good reason,
Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, he isn't happy about it.
Country is not a country without control of its borders. And you'll never do that with an activist foreign court in Strasbourg,
which, remember, stopped that plane taking off to Rwanda back in 2022.
We are clear that is the first step.
Meanwhile, Farage's Reform UK has launched a massive shake-up today
to try and get him into Downing Street as Prime Minister by 2029. My superstar
panel Charlie Sansom and Andrew Eborn will weigh in shortly. Plus, Donald Trump lashes out at claims
the late Queen wasn't his biggest fan. Woman, I think it's a shame that a sleazebag can write
an article that's totally false. In fact, I've heard always the opposite. I heard I was her favorite president and you've heard that too. And I'll have the inside story of King Charles's fears
as Harry and Meghan are about to be axed by Netflix. As well as that, breaking right now,
the BBC involved in another major sleaze scandal as Jemaine Jenas is sacked from the one show
and match of the day. We'll bring you the latest. Then in the uncancelled after show,
a special interview with the brilliant Samantha Smith, a brave conservative journalist and
commentator who you might know was a victim of the Telford grooming gangs. You can register to watch on our own website at www.outspoken.live. Most importantly, that's a safe space free of big tech censorship and
your support at just £5 a month not only gives you 30 minutes of extra content every
single weekday after the main show, it also allows me to continue making this independent
daily news show. Let's go!
Remember when Tuti Ake Astama assured us that policing and justice in the UK is fair?
There's no persecution, he insisted, of any particular group of people and no special treatment of any others. All is equal. It's just a coincidence
that courtrooms and police cells are cleared at warped speed for white working-class English folk
who maybe sent an inappropriate ex or Facebook post. Just a coincidence. But then, the evidence keeps emerging that sadly and disturbingly, that just isn't the case.
I was horrified when I saw Peter Lloyd post on X, Muslim man assaults waitress in unprovoked attack.
This happened in Nando's, Stratford yesterday. Over to you, Met Police.
Now, upon researching what happened a bit bit further I discovered that the incident didn't
actually take place yesterday but rather in March. It was in Stratford though in East London.
So watch as this completely innocent Nando's waitress is assaulted by the customer
as his apparent partner in a hijab watches on. Horrifying, right?
A clear case of assault you would think, and it is on video.
After all, there for the world to see.
So why did the Metropolitan Police do nothing?
Especially when they're so obsessed with sending down social media users or angry pensioners
who yelled at cops on a peaceful protest. So I was thinking about this. Now, maybe Nando's
wanted to deal with the situation internally, but no. A spokesman for the chicken chain said,
this was a shocking and unprovoked attack earlier this year. We reported it to the police
immediately and have supported our colleagues since. We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour.
The safety of our colleagues and customers is our priority. So I was thinking, okay,
maybe the waitress in question, maybe she didn't want to take it any further. But no. A woman called Zara,
who found herself at the centre of this unlikely storm, posted on X, the police were present
at the time. I reported it to them and they let him go without taking his details or checking the
CCTV. I filed a complaint against the officers and their supervisor got back to me
and essentially said, quote, they're humans and made a mistake.
Wow. Wow. But Keir Starmer says two-tier policing doesn't exist, right? Unless the MSM gets interested and then they act.
Because a Scotland Yard spokesman has had to admit this today.
We are aware of a video circulating online showing an incident in a branch of Nando's in Stratford
which took place in March.
A report of assault was made to police at the time of the incident.
However, it appears this was not
progressed promptly by officers. We are working to establish why this happened and accept this
is not the level of service Londoners should rightfully expect from the Met. We have since
made contact with the victim and a statement has been taken. We will endeavour to keep her updated
with the progress of this investigation. There has been no arrest and inquiries are ongoing
to locate the man involved. And I'll tell you why there's been no arrest because you didn't give a
damn about this in fact you only give a damn about violent crime if it's something that the woke mob
or the mainstream media are demanding you investigate instead you waste so so much time
on spurious so-called thought crime and don't chase actual crime.
Any Londoner knows that if you're mugged in the street like I have been, the Met will do
absolutely nothing about it. Yet the loser mayor keeps playing these sorts of ridiculous games.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan, I fear for my family's safety. If Trump is re-elected, well, Mr Khan, we fear for our safety now.
That young waitress was assaulted and your police force did nothing about this. And it's not just a
London problem, by the way. This is happening all over the UK where lawlessness is running rampant.
Look at Manchester. but as Lonnie Dowding posted waiting for the greater Manchester police to brag about how
fast they arrested him how they expedited his sentencing and how he's going away for a long time
oh wait he didn't make an offensive post on Facebook.
Scrap that.
Keir Starmer, you are a joke.
And Alex Armstrong, referring to the Nando's incident, said,
two-tier British policing is a global laughingstock.
Disgrace.
And trust me, we really are being laughed at all around the world,
not just in the US, where Elon Musk has led the charge on X,
correctly branding the UK a police state,
but now in Australia too,
where my friend, the broadcaster Fred Paul,
had a suggestion for two-tier care.
Oh, British authorities are locking up hundreds, if not thousands,
of uppity working class plebs
for committing the heinous crime of wanting their country back
from the hordes of violent migrants who now rule their streets and rape and pillage with impunity.
The only problem is, those same authorities must now release thousands of actual criminals
to make way for these new inmates because Britain's prisons are
overcrowded. Well, where have you heard that before? Last time Britain's prisons were this
overcrowded was in 1788 and the solution was this, the First Fleet, which took Britain's
least desirable convicts as far away as possible to a barren continent on the other side of the world.
Well, that fleet landed not far from where I'm standing now.
And in the mere 236 years since then, those convicts and their descendants built this.
One of the freest, happiest, most egalitarian and prosperous nations in history.
So my message to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is this
Mate, don't bother rearranging your prisons to make way for these uppity plebs.
Stick them on some boats and send them to Australia instead.
Last time the British did that, things didn't turn out too badly at all.
And I'm sure if that did become
the policy again, there'd be quite a few people posting inappropriate messages on Facebook and
X. Look, the UK, and I hate to say this given it's my home, but it deserves to be a laughingstock at
the moment. Until this two-tier policing is stamped out, The world will continue to call it out.
To discuss this further, though, let me introduce today's superstar panel.
And he's back. Charlie Sanson is the ambassador for the Together Declaration and host of X Uncensored Sundays from 7pm on X. And joining me to make his outspoken debut,
Andrew Eborn, the barrister, broadcaster and futurist who now hosts TNT's flagship
morning program, The Muckrakers. And I guess you could say we are muckrakers today, the three of
us. But Charlie, can you believe that this went on in a Nando's restaurant, the police were there, yet did nothing, but our leaders say that two-tier policing doesn't exist?
Well, we know that it does, don't we? Honestly. You have to look at this objectively and take into account the one thing that i hate to bring up and i really don't like
to bring this up but there's a race element to this and it's something that you can't say anymore
because you know the brick of highlighting that you are yourself a racist for noticing these trends
in in the way we're governed and policed but at the end of the day if that was a white man who
did that to a waitress in a nando's do do you think the police would have nicked him? I think they would have done. No problem. Andrew, what do you reckon? I'll tell you what I reckon. I always say
that trust comes in on foot and leaves on horseback. And the reality is trust in the police
at the moment is at an all time low. The United Kingdom were anything but united. It's the most
divided, diseased information age that we're living in.
And you see this footage, and you're right.
Why did it take so long to come about?
We talked about Manchester fairly recently,
the airport incident there back in July.
And it was drip-fed to the meter, if you like, and what happened.
And eventually, we got a bigger picture as more and more of the video got released.
I wonder if there's any more to this video.
But still, when you look at it in isolation, it's absolutely appalling.
And it's harrowing hearing that this particular victim asked for this to be investigated,
wanted things to get happened, and we've got no trust at all in it.
It seems to me it's absolutely appalling that something should be done.
Yeah, indeed.
And what's so problematic, Charlie, is that we know that this
happens every single day. Violent crime is ignored. And I guess it's become so easy for the police,
hasn't it, to investigate a post on X or a post on Facebook. It was probably music to their ears
when Starmer started demanding that they take action against the working class folk who posted something a little bit spicy after the Southport massacre.
That's easy. Cracking down on violent crime is tough.
When does fast grocery delivery through Instacart matter most?
When your famous grainy mustard potato salad isn't so famous without the grainy mustard.
When the barbecue's lit, but there's nothing to grill. When the in-laws decide that, actually, they will stay for dinner.
Instacart has all your groceries covered this summer. So download the app and get delivery
in as fast as 60 minutes. Plus enjoy $0 delivery fees on your first three orders.
Service fees, exclusions, and terms apply. Instacartacart, groceries that over-deliver.
The police have actually gone around to arrest actual rioters who probably were being quite violent
when these things were happening a couple of weeks ago.
But in the moment, they're not actually doing that.
And after the fact, again, it's a bit like searching the internet for tweets.
It's very easy to go knock on somebody's door when they're not mob-handed,
as it is to look at a tweet and say uh well you've criticized the establishment or you've made
made a comment about the unfair police treatment of of the indigenous population here
you are correct these easy it is easy for them to do and it's appalling that they that they're
policing us in this way there shouldn't be any favoritism. Crime is crime. If you've broken the
law, it shouldn't matter what you believe in or where you come from or what colour your skin is.
It wouldn't work the other way around. And I'm not trying to make this into a race debate,
but I want equality across the whole of our United Kingdom. If you're black, if you're white,
if you're brown, yellow, pink, green or blue, if you commit a crime, you should be arrested and
dealt with. It's not that difficult. I mean, I was so shocked by this Daily Telegraph headline,
Andrew Eborne, that says career criminals walk free in soft justice scandal. Offenders with
more than 100 convictions now get a slap on the wrist instead of jail time. But we see Julie Sweeney, the pensioner grandmother
who looks after full time her very ill husband
in jail for 15 months because of an inappropriate post.
And it was inappropriate.
And I'm not trying to say that it was not inappropriate.
But 15 months in jail for that, Andrew,
when violent criminals are not even investigated.
It's completely crazy.
And you talk about being a laughingstock around the world.
Well, Elon Musk has talked,
and he's basically talked about Keir Starmer.
Well, I had the joy, it was a joy of talking to
Elon's father today, Errol. I interviewed
him on my programme.
It was brilliant. So revelations
about Elon growing up.
I mentioned it was
basically Aristotle said, give me a child to the age
of seven, I'll show you the man. Some
fascinating insights into
Elon. But we talked
about this two-tier Ke care. You remember the spat
that Elon had with Sakhir Starman, the sort of slangy match. And what he was saying,
he was saying it was true. You know, we look at this from around the world. You see this
two-tier system where, as you say, people speaking out get swift justice and put into jail very,
very quickly, whereas the big convicted criminals and long standing criminals get wandering free.
And it's got to be wrong.
And as I say, justice needs to be done
and also seen to be done.
And justice is blind.
And what that means, it doesn't matter what colour creed.
I'm not sure about blue, Charlie,
but whatever sort of colour and creed you may be,
it should be irrelevant.
Smurfs should be treated the same as us.
Absolutely.
And look, of course,
the story that is completely connected to this,
even though the mainstream media
want to treat them as two separate issues,
are the shocking migration figures
revealed today.
Over one million visas
granted in the UK over the past year. Record numbers of asylum seekers
granted refugee status. Figures show 67,978 claims were granted in the year to June. That's more than
21,436 in the previous year. The brilliant journalist Patrick O'Flynn wrote on X about this. In the year
to June 2024, the UK granted to foreign arrivals 547,000 work visas, 530,000 study visas, 84,000 family visas, another 1.16 million new long-term visas in a single year, also 813,000
extensions of stay to those already here with soon-to-expire authority all under the Sunak
administration. And as Darren Grimes commenting on this wrote, they arrive
illegally from Afghanistan and Syria and all of the rest of it. And we just grant them asylum,
refusing to countenance, deporting them and upsetting the international apple cart.
We are a joke and it's killing us. The sooner our political class is replaced, the better. Charlie, your reaction
to these astonishing numbers, and I mean astonishing for all the...
Yeah, they are huge numbers. I'd love to know how many of those 547,000 work visas
were for high quality jobs and not just delivering food and cleaning. And I'm not
having any shade put on those people that do
those jobs it's just in a country where we don't have sustainable housing a benefit system which is
super expensive and the obvious things that we talk about like the nhs and schools and roads etc
all crumbling around us how is any of this sustainable even more even more astounding
is the fact that you've actually got illegal immigrants coming here, being granted stay.
Where are they being put? I mean, if you and I and Andrew were made homeless tomorrow, God forbid, would we be put in five star hotels?
Would we be given mobile phones and, you know, daily allowances and free dental care?
I mean, most people can't even get to see a dentist these days. Yet you come here illegally and you get all these things. It's on the government's
website. So there is a problem here. Darren Grimes mentioning we need to get rid of the
political class. Unless you get rid of Labour and the Conservatives both,
you're never going to get rid of them. Well, I want to talk about Reform UK in just a moment,
actually, because I think they are potentially the solution to this problem.
But Andrew, can we just talk about these numbers first?
This is a flood. It is a flood.
And before anyone says anything about me, I have a British passport.
I've had a British passport since birth. My parents are British.
So I am not one of these immigrants.
But it's not to say there shouldn't be highly skilled people, Leighton,
but we cannot handle this flood, Andrew, and that is what it is.
You're absolutely right, Dan, and I always say that sunlight is the best disinfectant.
What we need to do is to break down those figures,
because the brilliantly talented people, such as yourself,
and you're getting on being brilliantly talented anyway, you work on on that sort of basis we need to break those figures down why are people coming over here what are the sort of basis because what happens they conflate
the issue they talk about small boats which is an absolute appalling mess and there's also a
different side to it because if you see this brilliant movie called io capitano and i would
recommend everyone sees that uh you'll see just how devastating it is for some of the people coming over and how
that they're abused they basically have to save up forever from their village in the promise of a
wonderful life and as they go through their journey they're basically bribed more so the
family have to send more money and if they don't do it they're tortured some are get sold for organ
donations can you believe it so murdered along way. And it's a very different perspective. But the reality is this, that sometimes we need skilled labourers and skilled people in different industries. We need to break down those figures and have a look at that. But it's all about communication. And so often, these problems are not being properly communicated. If you say we need these number of people for this, people understand that.
If you conflate the figures, then people don't.
And it's front and centre of the election we've just had.
Everybody but everybody is talking about immigration.
Indeed. So let's talk about the political side of things.
Nigel Farage emerged from his holiday in Clacton today.
He was on the seaside and hit back in an interview with his employers at GB News.
I've heard it all before.
Priti Patel said all the same things.
If you employ illegal, migrant workers will fine you.
You may go to prison.
Massive penalties for smugglers, life imprisonment, none of it.
And you can put 1, thousand new enforcement officers in place,
but if the European Court of Human Rights stops you deporting people,
what difference does it make?
We are very clear that a country is not a country without control against borders.
And you'll never do that with an activist foreign court in Strasbourg,
which, remember, stopped that plane taking off to Rwanda back in 2022.
We are clear that is the first step.
And it is a very clear first step, Andrew,
a first step that none of the leadership contenders for the Conservative Party
have been prepared to make.
And as a result, I'm not prepared to support them anymore.
You know, Suella Braverman was the one person who said,
absolutely, we need to stand on a strong position of leaving the ECHR.
No ifs, no buts, no maybes.
She didn't run because she knew she didn't have the support from the MPs.
And as a result, I can't support any of these leadership contenders.
And you're absolutely right, Dan, as always.
And there were a number of issues which were silent or not discussed in the election.
The COVID, for example, nobody looked at all the horrendous things that went on there.
Let's just pretend it didn't happen.
Exactly.
I know, but isn't that bizarre?
So nobody was talking about it on any side of the parties.
But you're right about this.
If you look at what was the problem about the flights,
they were just about to take off and the ECHR said,
oh, no, you can't do that.
And off they all came again.
It's an absolute nonsense.
We then also had the nonsense about Rwanda.
We had the Rwanda safety bill.
And Abraham Lincoln, he used to amuse people at dinner parties.
I'm up to date with my jokes.
And what he used to say, he used to say, well,
if you call the tail of a dog a leg,
how many legs does a dog have?
And people talk, well, five then.
Well, no, the answer is still four
because just because you call a tail a leg
doesn't make it so.
So calling Rwanda a safe country
is an absolute nonsense.
So we need to look at that.
And you're right.
We need somebody like Nigel to call it out. Yeah, indeed. I mean, look, Charlie, there's so much that can be done.
There has to be a deterrent. There does. I'm a big believer in that. But I also believe that
there can be a turn back policy as well. Plus, let's leave the ECHR. There are so many things
that can be done, but there has to be political will to do them. And in Australia, where they have completely
protected borders, there was political will. And guess what, Charlie? The boats stopped.
The illegal immigration stopped. I mean, if there is a law implemented here where we could actually
break the law and be sent to Australia, I may consider breaking the law just to get out of this
country. But when it comes to the pushback with the dinghies coming over here and the illegals coming over here to the uk there is a simple solution
it's very cost effective and it's very cheap just take the boats back into french waters because
the reason why we're bringing them to the uk in the middle of the channel is because we are i
suppose duty bound to protect people who are in danger of dying at sea.
And they're in our territorial waters.
So I suppose we have to do that.
But why can't we do what the French do and just escort them back over the line?
Because we've seen the French boats doing it.
We're not causing a massive problem with France.
We're actually paying them money to do what they're not actually doing,
which is stopping them coming over in the first place.
So why don't we just do the same?
Take our money back,
bring the dinghies into French waters.
The French aren't going to start a war over it.
They're not going to cut off trade with us over it
because it's not worth it
over a few immigrants on a few boats.
So let's just do that.
What's the worst that could happen?
The French get annoyed.
Who cares?
Well, one of the things,
can I just say one thing the reality
is this however the focus should be on those criminal gangs because they are the ones as well
who are abusing the system those are the ones who are getting fortunes out of other people's misery
and it's going to be a two-pronged attack firstly we've got to send a very clear message to everybody
that you can't if you come here, you're going to be sent back.
So don't bother even trying. Save your money.
And then secondly, we need to target those criminal gangs who are abusing people.
As they say, it's a bribery and going as far as murder.
Do go watch that movie, Io Capitano. It's based on real events.
It's not an entirely true story, but it is based on real events as we understand it.
And it gives a different perspective. That's what an entirely true story, but it is based on real events as we understand it.
And it gives a different perspective. That's what we need to look at. There's two pronged attacks, one on communication and the other targeting the gangs. Now, the big question is,
can Reform UK end up in government by 2029? I say yes. I believe, and some of you will call me
crazy, but you can hold me to this. I believe Nigel Farage will be Prime Minister of the UK by 2029 and at that point Marine Le Pen will be President of
France as well because there is so much discontent in both countries but we know Reform UK really has
to build up its operation it has been a very small party and it's going to have to get professional
well today Zia Yousaf the new chairman of the party who admitted that he
has donated £200,000 of his own money into the cause, says that he does believe they can be in
government by 2029. Watch. Finally, the goal is to beat the Tories in 2028, 2029. Our goal is to
be the party of government in 2029, which means beating Labour.
And that's possible from this low start?
Five MPs, 75,000 members, you can do that?
I built quite a successful and sophisticated technology company.
I'm quite good with data.
I have spent weeks and weeks and weeks poring over the data.
We have a clear path to victory.
Don't get me wrong, it's long odds, right?
Saving the country generally is quite a difficult endeavour.
It's not going to be easy. It's going to be very tough, but it's absolutely possible and we're going to do it.
But what about those criticisms from the former, and let's be honest, sacked deputy leader Ben Habib over democratising the party so that Nigel Farage doesn't have a stranglehold?
Well, Zia Youssef also directed that criticism today. Ben Habib, the former deputy
leader, he is being critical of Reform UK. He has got no relationship with the leadership anymore,
he says. He says that if Reform UK ran the government, it would be owned by Nigel Farage.
What he means is that Reform UK is a company and most of the shares are owned by Nigel Farage. What he means is that Reform UK is a company and most of the shares are owned by Nigel Farage. How do you change that and will you change that?
We will change that and let me be clear, Nigel Farage and Richard Tice have been on the record
multiple times before the election and after the election saying yes of course that will
change. The history here is that if you know the history for example with UKIP that unfortunately
turned into an ungovernable circus to put it kindly
and so we can only do one thing at a time Chris look we of course understand that members need
to be given a democratic a set of rights in our constitution that is what we are working on
you know that that constitution by the way Chris is an incredibly important document you know we
are chartering a course to be the party of government in this country in 2029. So that document must be fit for purpose today, for the
next year, but also for when we're in government and that's so we have to get
that document right. And will that document, when we see it, allow members to
remove the leader, in this case, Nigel Farage? That's what all parties must have,
the right for members to remove a leader. Of course it will. How? Well, when the constitution comes out,
you know, we have some of the finest legal minds
in the country working day and night.
And Ben Habib was won over by that.
He posted on X, delighted to hear Zia Youssef
just now confirming that Nigel Farage
will give up his controlling interest
in Reform UK Limited
and that members will be able to vote to remove and appoint a leader.
When this is done, it will be a proper political party.
Charlie, are you satisfied with this?
I think it's a step in the right direction.
I used to be a chairman, an area chairman for the Conservative Party, so I understand the ins and outs of a democratised local area, it is important that you have that
because it gets people involved, it gets them invested and activists and potential councillors
and MPs actually feel like they've got skin in the game as opposed to just being dictated to by
a monarchical figure like Nigel Farage who at the moment controls everything. So it is a step in the
right direction, hopefully it encourages people to join reform and get involved in politics and I
think even if you're not a reform voter or supporter, you should get involved in politics in some way if you can.
Andrew Eborn, how do you feel about this massive shake up of Reform UK?
I think it's fascinating. I know a lot of the key people in reform.
David Bull, who was also a deputy leader, he set the whole thing up with Richard Tyson.
We used to share a studio very often and talk about these things.
It was done with their own money to get it all started.
Yes, they have talked about how they're going to reform it
from a corporate point of view.
What I find astonishing, though, Dan,
is when you look at the actual statistics,
because whilst the Labour Party won 33.7%
of the vote in the last election,
the Conservatives 23.7%,
the Liberal Dems got 12.2%.
They got 72 seats. That's 72 seats.
What happened with Reform, who got 14.3% of the vote, much more than the Liberal Dems,
they ended up with five. That doesn't sound right for democracy, does it?
No, it's a disgrace. It's a disgrace. And again, I know a lot of people do not support it because they have brought into the left wing propaganda.
Let me tell you, we need proportional representation in this country.
But that is a debate for another day.
Jim Davidson, my friend.
There's been lots of rumors about Jim joining Reform UK because he was pictured at this event with Lee Anderson and Richard Tice. Well, on his own platform, Ustream, he has now responded.
Watch.
Guess who's sitting in the front row up in Skegness when I'm doing my show?
This lot.
Yes, what a picture.
A Tory sandwich.
Lee Anderson and Richard Tice, two great mates of mine.
They're now the big wigs in reform.
And I'll be sitting and chatting with them and talking to them.
And I like some of their policies, but I'm a conservative, for good or bad.
You know, cut my head off and it says Tory all the way through.
But what the Tory party has got to have is these two guys in it.
Yes, wouldn't it be great, wouldn't it,
if the reform party suddenly,
can't you just go and take over another party, like buying a company? We're the reform company.
We want to buy you lot. Yeah, OK, a few quid each in the back pocket. Well, Richie's always got
billions anyway, so it doesn't really matter. But this is what I'm on about. These are great guys,
great guys and great mates. And no, I've not joined the Reform Party, Reform UK Party,
but I do believe in a lot of their policies
and these are great blokes.
And it just seems to me
that we could do with these guys
in the Conservative Party.
Wouldn't that be a lot easier
if Reform joined the Labour Party
and started to, you know,
they say it's easier to be inside the tent
pissing out than outside pissing in.
Well, it would be great to see the Conservative Party have some of, maybe all of, reforms policies
and have a couple of people in there with balls. There I'd be.
See, Charlie, I love Jim, but I think he's been naive here because that ship has sailed hasn't it there isn't going to be a merge because the tory rhetoric
since the election has not been at all welcoming to nigel no not at all i mean i watched that video
earlier on today and the first thing that came to mind was that people like jim davidson are going
to be a problem in the in the future because not him personally but people that are conservative
through and through like he just said he is because other him personally but people that are conservative through and through like
he just said he is because other
people will vote like that until the day they
die and that's the wrong approach
there needs to be a change
and the biggest challenge for reform
now is actually going to be
to convert those dyed in the
wall blue Tories to jump
over and you know put their
ex in the turquoise box and vote for reform.
I liked him a lot. I think he's hilarious. He's a wonderful comedian.
My family adore him as a comedian. But on this one, I think he's probably a bit more wishful than he is realistic.
It is interesting, though, isn't it, Andrew? Because I think Charlie's right.
It is going to take getting someone like
jim davidson voting for reform for reform uk to enter government i know you're absolutely jim is
brilliant and he's been cancelled and suffered from that from that sort of side and set up his
own thing uh so he's which i love i love you it's brilliant isn't it absolutely promote jim whenever
we can uh and the other interesting character is charlie mullins who again you would think he was
sort of through
and through conservatives,
but he went over.
And I've chatted to Charlie
many times about that.
He went over to reform.
And I think if you look
at that sort of side,
it was George Galloway
who always said that,
well, political parties,
nothing between their two cheeks
of the same backside.
And if you look at the policies
of each one,
I think this is what's going to happen
is it's going to be the mergers.
We start focusing more on the policies.
What bits do we really care about and who are the experts who are going to reform it?
But I wouldn't rule out completely reform and the Tories getting together because political shenanigans do go on behind the scenes.
And they realise if you've got to be a kingmaker, you sometimes have to hold your nose and vote accordingly. Or potentially some sort of electoral deal where they would maybe the conservatives would stand down in the red wall seats, for example.
Yes, they don't have a chance, but reform will have a chance.
I think a lot of it is going to depend on who's elected Tory leader and also the polling as as we get up to the next election. But look, breaking right now, another
major scandal is engulfing the BBC. Now, I'm not going to rush to judgment on this one, okay,
but let me tell you what's happened. Jermaine Jenis, former footballer, became a big star of the BBC, hosting The One Show and appearing on Match of the Day,
well, he has been sacked, effective immediately, by the British Bashing Corporation
for quote-unquote inappropriate behaviour. Now, of course, this comes so soon after the Hugh Edwards scandal, which BBC bosses came out of looking appalling.
But what's interesting about this is that we don't know what the specific allegations are.
We don't know what the claims of inappropriate behaviour are.
We hear that Jermaine Genis has also been dropped by his agent, MNC Saatchi, which really
disappoints me, actually, because I think unless he's done something criminal, you'd hope an agent
would help to see someone through a difficult situation. But today he has still appeared on
Talk Sport, which is interesting. So we don't know if his media career is going to be
fully let down by this. Now, Charlie, this is a really interesting one, isn't it? Because what I
hate is just because we know the BBC is such a corrupt and terrible organisation and has
let paedophilia run rampant over the years. Okay, we know that, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Jermaine
Jenis has done anything wrong. Sometimes after a scandal, they almost look for someone to take
the fall, be the fall guy. And we know the BBC has had such a tough time because of its terrible
handling of the Hugh Edward scandal and also its terrible handling of the Strictly Come Dance scene
for Rory.
So what do you make of this one?
Well, because we don't know anything about why he's been let go, it does open things up to speculation.
And I hate speculation purely because anything that is alluded about a man will stick and whilst we don't know i would like you would like not to
make any snap judgments about the man um he doesn't come across like um a horrible person to me i mean
i've watched matches that i've seen him on various programs he seems like a very nice guy so i'd be
surprised if this is something really serious but who knows we'll have to wait and see what comes
out of this but hopefully it's uh it's not too bad for all involved.
Yeah, that's the problem, isn't it, Andrew?
Because with the Strictly Come Dancing story, for example,
actually, I think a lot of it has been really unfair
on a couple of the male dancers
who have been dragged through the mud
for essentially being a little bit tough
during training sessions. Now, that's very different to Hugh Edwards accessing child
pornography while being paid for by the BBC, isn't it?
You're absolutely right. And I have the joy of doing the podcast for the Royal Television Society.
And as part of that, I spoke to Greg Dyke. They celebrated 100 years of the BBC.
And let's look at the next 100.
And I put to him about trust coming in on foot
and leaving on horseback.
And as you quoted some example from Savile to,
well, it wasn't Hugh Edwards at that stage
that's just come out,
but Tim Westwood was another one and so on and so forth.
They've been very slow to act.
And as a result, you're right,
the gut reaction of this is they've been too quick to act and one thing i do hate is trial in the media because if somebody's
innocent i don't believe their name should be splattered all over the place with with accusations
which haven't even gone through the rigor of the proper legal process so i feel very sorry until
the facts come out and my view is that you should wait until that happens
and you should clarify to everyone,
look, this is the procedure that we go through.
So whenever we get a complaint, this is what we do.
And if the BBC make that very clear,
they'll get a much better position accordingly.
Well, indeed, because what happens now
is that there's a media witch hunt
and they demand that Jermaine
Genis must be axed by every single person who he's working for.
Well,
at this point,
TalkSport hasn't done that.
He appeared live laughing,
seemingly okay,
just minutes after being sacked by the BBC.
Now,
in terms of what the BBC is saying about this,
they have released a statement in the past hour saying we can confirm Jermaine Jenis is no longer part of our presenting lineup.
Alex K. Jelski, the head of sport at the corporation, confirmed the decision in an email to staff as well, informing them Jermaine Jenis is no longer working for the BBC. And one colleague has told the Daily Mail that the complaints related to his
workplace conduct and that the issues were raised with the broadcast a few weeks ago and it took
action. I just think it's a shame that the BBC, look, let's see, let's see what we learn about
this. But it's funny, isn't it, who the BBC is prepared to throw under the bus and the the sorts of people that it shelters like uh Jimmy Savile and Hugh Edwards yeah you're so right
and I go back to what I said beforehand trial in the media is the most abhorrent of all you get
innocent people who are dragged through the media that their name is besmirched and it sticks for a
long long time.
And that has got to be wrong.
Yeah, what I hope would happen here is that Jermaine is given the opportunity himself
to speak out, to reveal what went on, because it's very difficult to comment on this
when there is such a wide array of what can be classed as misconduct.
You know, did he send a flirtatious message to a
colleague you know okay maybe not great but hardly a hanging offence uh Hugh Edwards receiving child
pornography images while announcing the death of the queen not literally but you know the point
that I'm making clearly unacceptable and clearly someone at the BBC should not have been
protecting so we will watch with
interest but I would urge
everyone and having myself
gone through one of these media witch hunts
very recently I would urge
everyone to show some restraint
until they know what's going on
and until I've heard from Jermaine Jean

in just one minute time i'm going to reveal why harry and and Meghan are about to be axed by Netflix and
why King Charles is so horrified about this development. But first, what's so important
about being independent is that I only tell you about products that I personally use. One of them
is Verso. I've entered my 40s. The importance of staying healthy as I age has become really critical to me.
So I've done a few things. Actually, I'm doing the 16-8 fast exercising most days, but I've learned
that will only get me so far. Scientists like David Sinclair have proven that we can now reverse
aging with interventions that go beyond healthy habits. So for me, I was looking for a product that would enhance everything I
was already doing, but also one that was backed up by solid evidence. So that's why I use Verso's
CellBean product. It's really brilliant, actually. It has scientifically proven ingredients that
fight the effects of aging by increasing NAD plus levels that power every cell in your body.
For me, I take it at the start of
every day. I've used it for a number of months. It's made fasting a lot easier. I've lost fat.
I'm eating less too. And a lot of that is down to its blood sugar regulating effects, which lead to
fewer cravings. I'm even sleeping better actually. So I really recommend Verso and I'd love you to
experience the same thing. Remember it publishes third-party testing from each batch produced to guarantee you are getting what you paid for. And I'm delighted to say that because
Verso was my first ever sponsor on Outspoken, please do support them as a result. Today,

the show and my superstar panel return, Andrew Eborn and Charlie Sanson.
And big royal news breaking today.
As I reported earlier on my sub stack, King Charles is horrified about the prospect of Harry and Meghan running out of money because Netflix is about to scrap their mega deal. Now this isn't good news for the Sussexes who even befriended the wife
of the Netflix co-chief executive Ted Sarandos to try and save them from the axe. But it hasn't
worked. After years of flops and non-deliveries, the Netflix hammer blow is coming. I first reported
on this last year, but critically, Puck, which is a highly connected entertainment newsletter edited by the former editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter,
Matthew Bologna. Puck has confirmed this week those long-suspected rumors that the streamer
is not expected to renew its five-year, $100 million deal, which they signed in 2020.
Now, that news won't surprise anyone within Hollywood given the
disastrous product that has come out of Harry and Meghan but I can reveal today it is the worst
nightmare for King Charles because the King and his courtiers have privately confided that they
are dreading the possibility of the cash-hungry Sussexes running out of money. And that now
becomes a much more likely eventuality. This is what my royal source has revealed to me today.
This is the king's worst nightmare. He's horrified. There are genuine fears within his court that
Prince Harry and his wife are going to run out of money and come cap in hand to their father. Harry doesn't let up ever, especially about the security situation
and Harry's court case against the Home Office. That's one of the reasons the King no longer
takes many of his calls. It's unrelenting. Charles is already attempting to deal with the Prince
Andrews situation, which is again about money. There is only so much money to go round and he must be responsible as he bids to run an efficient monarchy for a modern era.
The source close to the king continues, since being with Meghan, Harry has become obsessed
with money. It seems to drive so much of his jealousy and envy, But at least for the past couple of years, he's had it.
It always seemed predictable, though, that the money wouldn't last. Now, here's the situation.
Harry does get a further inheritance of around £7 million next month. That's from the estate
of the late Queen Mother, because she made it very certain that he wasn't going to be allowed access to
that money until he was an adult, until he was 40 years old. However, even though Harry and Meghan
are regularly using corporate freebies or relying on the generosity of wealthier friends to fund
their expenses, they still do require significant incoming funds to continue to pay for their
exorbitant accommodation, travel costs, and especially security needs,
because those security costs have become particularly high because of Harry's growing paranoia.
It is possible, I am told, that there'll be some sort of face-saving lower value deal offered to
Harry and Meghan by Sarandos as a result of their friendship. That's what happened with the Obamas
and Netflix when their exclusive deal ran out. But the thing is with the Obamas and Netflix when their exclusive deal
ran out. But the thing is, the Obamas have been way more successful than the Sussexes in terms
of what they've produced. And some sort of first look deal would actually go nowhere near far
enough to cover what the Sussexes have become accustomed to financially. And this is a real
disaster for Netflix too, because it's embarrassing for Ted
Sarandos. Do you remember when he first signed the couple, he described them as global change makers.
He said they would tell stories that can help build resistance. Lately, he's had to do a complete
180 on that, describing the couple as, quote, controversial and great at getting attention while adding you may love them or hate them but
you're watching but actually far fewer people have been watching in recent years it may have
been true that there was a sort of morbid fascination to tune in for their royal trashing
docuseries but not for their other non-royal projects, like the documentary series
Live to Lead and Heart of Invictus. Both of them were flops. And you'll remember Meghan's passion
project, the children's animation series Pearl, it was axed before it even went into production.
Now, look, I've predicted this for a long time because the tragedy for Harry and
Meghan, even though they didn't realise it, is that the further they are estranged from the royal
family and the further that they are away from British royal life, the lower their value in the
US, where they are now treated as, I guess, B-list celebrities really, rather than bona fide superstars
like Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales. Whether Harry and Meghan like it or not their only genuine commercial
success stories have been completely reliant on their connection to the royal family. Obviously
there was Harry's awful autobiography spare and that six-part moan fest on Netflix. Here's a
reminder. Really hard to look back on it now and go
what on earth happened you hear that that is the sound of hearts breaking all around the world
she's becoming a royal rock star
and then everything changed there's a hierarchy of the family. You know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories.
There was a war against Megan to suit other people's genders.
It's about hatred. It's about race.
It's a dirty game.
The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution,
this feeding frenzy.
I realized they're never going to protect you.
I was terrified.
I didn't want history to repeat itself.
No one knows the full truth.
We know the full truth.
It wasn't the truth.
We all know that.
And the thing is, every time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made that decision to turn on their own flesh and blood in order to feather the Montecito nest,
it's caused their popularity to plummet on both sides of the Atlantic,
which makes them an increasingly toxic prospect for potential future commercial
partners and celebrities like Taylor Swift, who have continued to align themselves with William
and Catherine rather than the Sussexes. Andrew E. Bourne, what do you make of this?
Well, I think it's extraordinary. I know it's usual fodder with both William and Harry provide fodder on different stories for different sides.
I feel a bit sorry for them, really, because they're accustomed to a certain living.
They need certain security and it's really expensive. And Netflix being a commercial organisation,
I know Ted has seen Dan and Can all the time at these various festivals.
The reality is to be commercial, you need to make decisions that make financial sense.
It made no financial sense to carry on with $100 million, this five-year deal.
So you need to look at what else you can do.
But as a father, I get it that Charles is not only worried about, OK, what am I going to do with the money?
But he must be worried about his son, I would have thought.
And so you need to look at that side. The other thing as well, Dan,
it's worth unpacking, is what happened to Princess Diana's estate? Because according
to the High Court of Justice, that was worth about $30 million. And in addition to the money,
which you mentioned from the late Queen Mother, late Queen Elizabeth's mother,
obviously that all adds up. You need to look at both sides of it. How much has he actually got
in reality? How much is his lifestyle costing and what needs to be done to accordingly i mean charlie
look he does have money i'm not trying to say that harry is on the bread line but i think what's
interesting is the fear that charles has because he's clearly looking at this extravagant lifestyle
that his youngest son is is leading demanding to fly private jets instead of commercial, even when he's going short distances across America.
I mean, that really adds up very quickly.
I suppose when you're born into money, which every royal is around the world, you get accustomed to living a certain way.
So would you expect to see prince
harry flying ryanair you wouldn't it would be it wouldn't look right so when you're born into that
luxury lifestyle of security range rovers police escorts private access to airports private dinners
with presidents and other royals around the world i guess that's a hard thing to detach from irrespective of your
incessant desire to detach from the institution itself and i don't really believe that harry
does want to detach from the institution i think it's an easy way to make money
as you said a moment ago he earned 100 million from netflix you said i'm sure he still got a
lot of that left over provided they've actually paid him
for that one television series they made.
And I have to be honest,
I watched that when it came out.
I watched it the whole way through.
By episode three, I was bored
because it turned into racism and woke and feminism.
And I thought...
Brexit's terrible, isn't it?
Yeah, yeah.
England's racist.
All of their usual woke tropes.
But, you know, I kind of hoped that
the fairy tale would have lasted
you know I still believe that
Harry and Meghan will end up getting divorced
which would be a massive problem for him
with his kids I believe
I assume that she's probably
not a very nice woman
because you can't be that happy all the time and be sincere
I just don't see it unless of course you're Andrewrew reborn he's always smiling i am always smiling but you know
there's 18 staff members have have left so so we know don't we that megan doesn't treat people very
well yeah no i i totally get that i i think that that you know that the documentary released harry
and megan on netflix where they said that the UK was racist.
I always say to people when I discuss those two that at the time they were celebrated so much.
Everyone wanted that to work. Everyone celebrated her.
They amplified the fact that she was a mixed race woman being brought into the royal family.
Now, for those who don't know, and I know that you and Andrew will, Dan, is that you have to get the blessing of the monarch to get married.
So obviously the queen saw virtue in Meghan when she was alive.
So what went wrong?
It's funny that when you read Harry's autobiography, Spare, which I did do for professional purposes, it was hard going.
He actually calls me a sad little man in the book as well, which I think is very true.
Although, let's be honest, he's the sad little man in the book as well, which I think is very rude. Although let's be honest,
he's the sad little man, isn't he really?
I'm very happy you just have to look at those photos
of his long face.
But actually, Harry tells the story
of when he asked permission of the Queen to marry Meghan.
And firstly, he should never have done that
because it's really terrible to betray
the late Queen's trust in that way,
especially a private conversation like that.
But secondly, oh, she gave it reluctantly.
She gave it reluctantly.
She was no fan of Meghan, mark my words.
Andrew, what do you make of this other content that they've got coming, though?
Harry's executive producing a series, a reality series about Polo which yes i know it's cooking for
her friends i mean do they have a chance of another hit or does it just feel like everyone's
bored of them now well that the person who can make polo relatable is jilly cooper i mean she
wrote all those sort of books but it's all about sex and scandal most of these books are sold on
the index at the back aren't they what names What names are you going to be mentioning? What sort of derogatory things can you say about people
without defaming them on that sort of basis?
As I say, what I sometimes like to do in the interest of balance,
shine a good spotlight.
One of the best things that Harry's ever done is the Invictus Games.
And I think we should absolutely have a look at that
and praise that when we can.
But these book deals and various other things where you sell out your own family I am so against that and I think they it
always used to be never complained never explained for the royal family the queen was brilliant to
that I know we're going to come on to Trump in a bit but the queen was absolutely brilliant and it
feels like a betrayal I think that's the right word to use and the problem is Charlie if they
do need to make more money
unfortunately they're going to have to throw more mud and so i think that's where you get back to
the worries that charles has because you know megan is threatening to write her autobiography well
if harry's was bad can you imagine what his wife would say about the british royal family well i
didn't read prince harry's book and i and i won't
be reading hers either i'll let it be dissected in the media and making my mind up on on reviews
but because i'm not that interested in the couple i have to be honest with you i don't i don't find
them entertaining i don't find them interesting i wish that we had the old harry where he was
known for the country and and doing things with veterans and and you know he was just
it felt like one of the lads didn't he he was one of the lads yeah yeah since he's married
megan it seems to be amplifying her ambitions you know let's with all of the in tv and that's
all they've done since they've been married is we don't like the royal family let's go back to tv
you could have done that you could have done that in america you could have stayed with suits that
no one really watched anyone until it went to netflix and you could have done that. You could have done that in America. You could have stayed with suits that no one really watched
until it went to Netflix. And you could
have done your acting over
there and carried on doing what you were doing.
I do see this as a ladder climb.
I hope that there is a way down
from all these rungs they've climbed up.
Because I do think underneath it all
Prince Harry is actually
a very nice man.
But he's been led away by a very beautiful woman.
And also, the media changed their opinion, didn't they?
If you look, I mean, Harry was a darling of the media at one stage.
He was the exciting one.
And actually, Meghan, to start with, people loved her.
And I think it all changed, didn't it?
Well, it all changed because of their behaviour, absolutely.
But look, Andrew, you mentioned that Daily Mail front page, which went all around the world. changed didn't it well it all changed because of their behavior absolutely but look andrew you
mentioned that daily mail front page which went all around the world i actually thought it was
really outrageous and really tasteless this new book that they're serializing from craig brown
claiming that the queen said all of these horrible things about donald trump including the fact that
he was very rude and that he must have an
arrangement with Melania Trump. Now, I just do not believe it. I do not believe it. I think this is
all part of the MSM beat up on Trump because he's always really made a lot of political capital out
of the fact that the Queen and him got on with each other and that they had that state banquet together.
Well, interestingly, he went to the source today in order to hit back.
He actually has given a really funny interview
with the Daily Mail in the US,
making it very clear what he thinks about this book.
Watch.
There's a new book coming out about the Queen
in the United Kingdom.
Craig Brown has made a little bit of coming out about the Queen in the United Kingdom. Craig
Brown has made a little bit of news because apparently the Queen told lunch guests you've
been a little bit rude, had been looking over her shoulder when you met as if to find more
interesting people to talk to. What did you make of that story? It was totally false. I have no
idea who the writer is, but it was really just the opposite. I had a great relationship with the
Queen. She liked me and I liked her. I spoke to her often and I spoke to her in particular when
I was there. We spent hours together at a state dinner. She was a fantastic woman. I think it's
a shame that a sleazebag can write an article that's totally false. In fact, I've heard always
the opposite. I heard I was her favorite president. And you've heard that too.
She would say it to a lot of people.
She said it to friends of mine that President Trump was my favorite president.
And then you have this guy looking for some publicity
for a book that probably is phony
in a lot of other ways too.
Now, I know nothing about him.
I have no idea who he is.
We had an unbelievable relationship.
She was an amazing woman.
My God, I love yeah my god i love him
i absolutely love donald trump is the master media manipulator the favorite president uh looking over
his shoulder i think two things on this one i think it's outrageous that anybody discloses
what the queen may or may not have said um but actually to put this into context for donald uh
the queen met 13 that's one three out of 14 presidents during her 70 year reign.
And that's included the Kennedys and Reagan and Eisenhower and so on and so forth.
I imagine she's probably gone pretty well with Reagan because he had a good sense of humour.
The only one she didn't know, just for a fact of interest, is Lyndon Johnson.
That's the only one. I'm not quite sure why he didn't make it. But Donald's brilliant to hit back. I think it was appalling, appalling that somebody disclosed
what the Queen may have said, because she wouldn't have wanted that.
And I had the joy of meeting her a couple of times,
and she was glorious personified.
And I think that the naughty one was obviously Prince Philip,
who would always have a little side joke and so on and so forth.
I was introduced to him, you know, I'm a barrister,
and we went to Middle Temple for a dinner. And I was introduced, this is Andrew E. Bourne, he's a
barrister and also a magician. And she said, how nice. And Prince Philip came back and said,
I bet that's good for pulling the birds, is what he said to me.
Yeah, I think this was a political hit job, Charlie.
Everything's designed to attack Trump, isn't it, when it's coming from the mainstream media,
probably a mainstream publisher,
because any time something is leaked out of the mouth of the late queen,
there is always a political reason for it.
You'll remember the very famous Sunfront page,
which I didn't have a problem with, actually,
because it suits my purposes.
But do you remember Queen backs Brexit? So when these things are linked there is usually a political
purpose i think this is all about humiliating trump yeah it likely is i mean you know this
year's election in america is very important and even in death the queen's influence still lives
on so just for him to say that he was the queen's favorite president i mean
look you if you ask trump about anybody that he would say that they said he was their favorite
no matter who you're talking about they're always uh in favor of trump but i do agree with you there
is a hit job here who knows i doubt it very much that he was looking around for other people to
talk to because even before meeting the queen during his time in the uk and since her passing he's always praised her
and it doesn't seem to be with any agenda on his part indeed indeed well what a day we've covered
it all thank you so much to my brilliant superstar panel, the political commentator, host of X Uncensored on X, Charlie Sansom.
And Jack of all trades, he does so many things, including being a futurist.
Andrew Eborn, host of TNT's Muckrakers, which I'm hoping I'll make an appearance on very soon.
Brilliant.
Absolutely.
Looking forward to it.
So good to have you.
