No spend, no bias, no censorship. I'm Dan Burtan. This is outspoken episode number 55. And breaking right now,
a senior British-based Islamist academics says Muslims are now your master, as he urges the white British population to leave the country as Sharia law is imposed, quote, whether you like it or not.
That's as children under 10. And Al-Been referred to the anti-terror prevent program.
in record numbers. So I'd say the Islamist takeover of the UK is no longer a fantasy or a conspiracy
or fake news or misinformation. I would say you have to be both blind and thick not to see it.
So today, Rupert Lowe exploded during a live interview on the British Passion Corporation's Today program
when host Nick Robinson immediately wanted to piss on the idea that there is any sort of Islamic
threat. What is the evidence that in your words we are, quote, hurtling towards being an Islamic
country? Let me ask you, Nick, have you read our 219 page rape gang inquiry report, which we
did? I don't think the BBC has covered it at all. Question. Hang on. Have you, have you read
that report? I haven't read the whole report, no, but what's the evidence for your claim? Why not, Nick? That
is a very important part of what we're talking about today. That anyone who speaks
common sense appears to be far right in your terms. Well, I'm not far right. I am a normal punter,
okay? And I want my country back. I don't want all of the piffle and the rubbish that you lot
pedal. And your listeners are dropping equally fast because you don't reflect actually what's
happening. Why do you answer the question now we've got your own whitewash? You try and whitewash.
Masterclass. I'll show you more shortly. But it's also the right
Wing media going mad too. Look at this from the Daily Telegraph in Alistair Heath. Farage must
reject Rupert Lowe's repugnant dance with white nationalism. Elon Musk has just weighed in, writing
Heath is a traitor. Yet Reform UK figures seem only too happy to join this campaign against
Restore. With regards to the Rupert thing, you know, I don't regret anything that I did.
I sometimes feel it might be difficult for Mr Lowe to put an ego aside
because I'm not entirely sure what else is there.
Of course, so much toxicity, though, coming from the left,
including serious racism like this,
from Yasmin Alibair Brown to Ben Habib on LBC.
No, you've had your day.
I'm speaking up.
What my ethnicity got to do with protecting the civil society in this country?
Because that is your heritage.
And if there had been people...
So you're saying, I should let us speak, I'm going to speak.
I'm going to speak.
No, but it's a fundamentally flawed principle on which you're arguing.
We have to stop illegal migration into this country.
It has to be stopped.
For the sake of those trying to come here, but most of all for civil society in the United Kingdom.
Ben Habib will be here to respond shortly.
He is with us for the entire show.
Also, coming up today, the British Bashing Corporation is exposed for its shocking, biased and race-baiting coverage around the fantasies ex-ex Cambridge professor, Jason Ardei, as can you believe this,
Whistprasper, Zach Polanski, stands by his decision to claim that this plagiarism scandal was
somehow race-related. And Talk TV is suffering a ratings collapse, losing 21% of its audience in
just a quarter following the departure of Mike Graham and a series of on-air scandals. Mike will
respond exclusively later. Then in the Royal Uncanceled Aftershow on Substack, Megan
Michael Spills Royal Secrets at a celebrity dinner as Martha Stewart brutally.
exposes the truth. Lady Colin Campbell standing by for the latest on that. We're also going to
reveal a brand new greatest Britain and Union Jackass. So I've nominated Megan Markle for the reasons
just explained and also Zia Yusuf for the video we just saw and Ben Habib has nominated Jason
Ardei of Cambridge a lying fiasco and he's now crying racism. Ben says. So get voting in the
live chat on YouTube. The results and your superchew.
chats later in the show. But now, let's go. The Islamist takeover of the UK is no longer a fantasy
or a conspiracy or fake news or misinformation. Indeed, in my view, you have to be both blind and
thick not to see it. So today, the new receipts include news that after the Islamist terrorist
Axel Ruda Kavana, killed three beautiful young girls at a Taylor Swift dance class,
there are now hundreds of children under 10 being referred to prevent as refer to, as referrault.
to that anti-terror program, a failed anti-terror program, by the way, reach record highs.
The spike comes after officials noted a sustained significant increase in referrals in the wake of the
Southport attack in July 2024. Where age was known, 11 to 15-year-olds made up the largest
proportion of prevent referrals. That's 3,665 or 36% followed by 16 to 17-year-olds, the home
office said. Some 393 referrals, that's 4% were for children aged 10 or under. And then you have
this egregious threat from the Islamist academic Muhammad Hajab, who posted on X message to the far
right. So he's not talking about the far right, is he? He's talking, as Elon Musk puts it,
to ordinary people. And he said, since you can't get us Muslims out of your mind, no
we are now your masters. We are here to stay. This is our country. If you don't like it here,
please leave the country, leave the UK, go to Spain or Australia. I impose Sharia law every time I
pray my prayers and give charity to the white homeless people you have neglected, including your
own mothers who are left in care homes. We impose Sharia each time we heal your people in NHS
hospitals or care homes. We impose Sharia each time we refrain from decadence and alcoholism
you people are known to indulge in and we will continue imposing this kind of Sharia whether you
like it or not. There is nothing you can do about this. We are in charge of this decision.
Then he added message to all of the anti-Muslim far right that want us deported. I understand you
hate us and feel invaded, dominated, etc. Please realize the following. You are nothing but
cowards who are the only, who are only allowed on this platform. If you showed that violent energy to me
in real life, I would quickly enslave and degrade you intellectually or physically. Criticise me
all you like under this post, but realize you could never step up to me in real life. I am your boss,
I am your master.
As Josh Fern of the Lotus East has replied,
Muslim man feels threatened and the first thing he says
is that he's going to enslave people.
I am no expert, but I do not think that is going to win him any sympathy.
So it was in this context that we have been gifted Rupert Lowe's master class
in taking the fight directly to the British Bashing Corporation
live on the Today program this morning.
Rupert agreed to go on, by the way,
to discuss restore Britain's new economic paper.
But Nick Robinson, the host, the left-wing host, didn't ask a word about that.
Instead, he immediately wanted to piss on the idea of any sort of Islamic takeover,
prompting Rupert to quip, I doubt I'll be invited back on the BBC any time soon.
That's because within just a few seconds, he had exposed the total ignorance of Robinson
for refusing to even read a word of the party's rape gang inquiry report.
What is the evidence that in your words we are, quote,
hurtling towards being an Islamic country?
Let me ask you, Nick, have you read our 219-page rape gang inquiry report,
which we did?
I don't think the BBC has covered it at all.
Well, it's covered the red gangs, but let me ask you to answer the question.
Hang on, have you read that report?
I haven't read the whole report, no, but...
What's the evidence for your claim?
Why not, Nick?
That is a very important part of what we're talking about today.
Let's come to that.
What we're seeing is the gradual Islamification of Britain.
What's the evidence for that?
Or the silent jihad, if you like.
And people like the BBC, our national monopoly, which, as you know, I would defund responsibly very quickly, should I acquire power.
The point is, you have been complicit in watching this gradual spread.
of the Islamic Islamicization of Britain,
which basically is changing the nature of everything,
with them allowed to pursue a parallel system of Sharia courts.
Eventually, Rupert did force Nick into an answer,
but it certainly wasn't a satisfactory one.
What I asked you for was the evidence,
the evidence that were hurtling towards being an Islamic country.
But it all there, Nick, you didn't cover it once.
What's the evidence?
You're supposed to inform, educate and entertain
with complete impartiality.
You're not doing that.
Look, just briefly, Mr. Lowe,
because you've raised it a couple of times,
but I want us to have an interesting exchange of views.
You asked me the question, Nick.
No, and I'll briefly give you an answer,
which is we covered rape gangs in detail.
We covered the National Inquiry.
You're talking about us covering your individual report.
Let me ask you again, because I'm asking about your words,
so forgive me, I'm not trying to be clever.
I'm just trying to ask you to explain your words.
You're always trying to be clever on this programme.
Indeed, because Robinson then thought he had achieved a major gotcha moment in regards to King Charles.
But it really didn't land because Rupert Lowe just kept pointing out the shocking failures of the BBC itself.
You quote and have often quoted what you say is a prediction that white Britons will be a minority in 263.
Are you aware that by the definitions used in that particular report, King Charles.
is not a white Britain.
Do you think he is a white Britain?
Well, many people have different interpretations of that, Nick.
I mean, we can split hairs, but I think...
You're not splitting hairs.
Do you think the monarch of this country is a white Britain?
It's quite clear.
And I think most British people, if you speak to them, would agree.
And that is why Restore Britain's membership is growing very fast.
And your listeners are dropping equally fast.
Because you don't reflect...
Actually, what's happening?
Why do you answer the question now we've got your own?
You try and whitewash all of the things that are happening.
Is King Charles or White Britain?
You pedal climate change, you peddle D.I.
You peddle all of the malign agenda.
Okay.
Which British people have got bored of.
Right.
So you're opening your soul up.
They're bored of people ignoring the questions, Mr. Lowe.
The reason I ask you, and it's a serious question.
I'm not. I'm ignoring any questions.
It is a fact that by 263, white British people will be a minority on current trends.
I don't think that's beat...
I don't think anyone disputes that.
What I was putting to you is that the basis of that forecast,
which is widely disputed and based on a whole series of assumptions
that none of us know whether they'll be true or not,
is that you're only called a white Britain
if both of your parents were born in this country.
So because Prince Philip was born in Greece,
King Charles is not under your definition treated as a white Britain.
So the BBC, let's just think about this for a moment,
would rather use an obscure technicality involving the king's father
who was born in Greece.
to deny that the whole-scale replacement of white Britons is now a demographic reality
that only the thick and the blind can deny.
They then did get to the crux of Rupert's offer to try and unite the right
by starting these talks with Nigel Farage.
Nigel decided with his acolytes that I was not part of his party,
so he kicked me out.
And once I cleared my name, which was obviously going to happen,
because I am what I appear to be,
an honest taxpaying person who owns businesses
and I think has played my part in driving the economy,
having worked in the city for 20 years
and now running a number of private businesses
which I control.
I think I played a big part in what reformed it in Parliament
until they kicked me out.
For some extraordinary reason, you have to ask them about that.
But just briefly, if you were short of time,
will you cooperate with it?
When I was asked to be,
on the Public Accounts Committee,
the reason I set up,
Restore, as a movement to start with,
was to unite.
And I don't even call it right-wing thought.
I call it common-sense thought.
What's happened is your monopoly,
the national monopoly, the BBC,
which has become malign in my view,
has gone so far left
that anyone who speaks common sense
appears to be far-right
in your terms. Well, I'm not far-right.
I am a normal punter,
okay? And I want my country back.
I don't want all of the piffle and the rubbish that you lot peddle.
I want a country that works as a piece with itself.
That was such an important point, I thought,
just reclaim that far right slur they use against us
while insisting that, of course, what we're actually really like
is just normal, just ordinary.
But of course, for Nick Robinson,
it was just an opportunity to get in his predictable list of digs.
You're a man.
in reality, Mr. Lowe, you're a man with money and a grudge and a social media account
who airs his prejudices on X and gets hearing because you've got the back of Elon Musk.
And then, just when Rupert was getting going, they cut the camera and cut him off.
Now, in his press conference, he said he was waiting for a call from me.
Well, I think most people...
We can be sorry.
We haven't got time for every detail of your relationship with Nigel Foote.
I assumed he was canvassing with Camber.
face in Clacton at the time, in a bioection which he called.
Thank you very much for your time.
Rupertler, the leader of Restore Britain.
It's interesting you think we're a monopoly
because I think you'll find you can turn on to about 10 other news breakfast shows
as we speak and it's rather interesting to discover.
You still listen to us.
Glad you do. Thanks for joining us.
Nick Robinson posted after the interview,
I always find it puzzling when we invite someone to talk on Radio 4 today at length
and ask them to explain something they've said
and they take up the time they've got 12 minutes in a lead slot as it happens by attacking the BBC.
Any thoughts, Rupert Lowe? Well, Rupert did have thoughts, replying,
I just gave the BBC the brutal truth live on BBC Radio 4 about how our country is becoming unrecognisable.
Their appalling failure to mention our rape gang inquiry report and how the entire BBC needs to funding.
I suspect I won't be invited back on any time soon.
By the way, given Nick Robinson didn't ask the officer,
question. I am reporting on this. I can confirm today. Nigel Farage has still not called
Rupert or text him either. Of course, that was what he had said he would do. At the weekend,
call you later, no call or text message has been incoming. And that is because Nigel's acolytes
are, I believe, putting personal ambition before country. I mean, this one really shocked me today.
and the reformists aren't even happy that I am reporting on this,
but I was shocked.
Total breathtaking arrogance from Zia Yusuf,
who actually at a press conference said he has no regrets
about reporting Rupert Lowe to the police,
which means he still believes that trying to get his colleague jailed
for hurty words during an argument was the right thing.
And remember, that decision to report Rupert Lowe to the police
is what caused this Restore Britain-Riform UK split in the first place.
I think this man is a traitor in our midst.
Yeah, look, again, with regards to the Rupert thing,
I don't regret anything that I did.
But again, I want to reiterate here, again,
a lot of the questions are about personalities and things like that.
I've dedicated my life to this.
I do this as a volunteer.
I do it with all of my time.
I gave up all my business interests to do it.
Richard does exactly the same thing.
Nigel is doing exactly the same thing.
We believe this in our heart.
We think that we've got a vanishing window of opportunity to turn this country around.
We think the next general election will be the most important general election fought in this country's history.
We believe that in our bones.
And so to put, I think that's the context that you've got to see any personal disagreements or personal difficulties.
Isabel from Politico.
And on Times Radio, the Reform Board Member and Farage loyalist, Gwain Toller, who was himself sacked
by Zeeu's,
have decided to make
even more personal digs
about Rupert Lowe
when asked about
the genuine decline
in the polls of Reform UK.
Do you think,
honestly, this is going to come together
because I'm going to come back
to Sir John in a moment
because there is a feeling
that reform has plateaued,
if not declined.
I mean, in various polls of polls,
Labour have overtaken.
There's some polls that have reform over,
so it's a bit of a messy picture
at the moment.
But if you have bled
and support to restore,
Is it not the case of trying to put egos aside and then come together,
and then your party could gain some momentum again?
I sometimes feel it might be difficult for Mr. Lowe to put an ego aside,
because I'm not entirely sure what else is there.
However...
That was that as a no then.
There are many good people who have clustered around Mr Lowe and restore.
We'd be only too happy to have them back.
Of course we would.
I think the real...
People were looking at us and going, oh, did you know?
The Restore took some votes off you.
I tell you what, if I was sitting in the headquarters of the Tory party,
having been beaten by Restore both in Makerfield and in across the whole of Manchester,
there'd be much bigger questions to ask.
By the way, the bid to unite the right is failing all around because of Nigel Fras.
And now Kimmy Badenot, not. Not Rupert Lowe.
Today, the Tory leader has ruled out any deal with Farage and Reform UK
even after the next election.
So I want people to know that I'm not doing any deals with Nigel Farage.
He is...
Pre-election.
So pre-election, I don't even see how we could do any kind of deal post-election.
In my view, I think even deals post-elections are stitch-ups,
so I just say no to everything.
And the reason why is because people who talk about deals
are usually not thinking about the public.
They're just thinking about how they can get jobs themselves.
But it is very important that people know what they're going to get with me.
Do you remember when people were saying, or certain commentators were saying,
the Conservatives should stand down in Makerfield, and then reform can stand down in Aberdeen,
and then you will unite the rights?
And I said, I'm not trying to unite the right.
I'm trying to unite the country.
I'm trying to unite the country.
It is not in, you cannot run a country with just one half of it.
It's just so divisive.
But the attacks are not just coming.
to restore Britain and Rupert Lowe from the leftist MSM, but also the establishment right.
Rupert revealed a very aggressive hit piece on me by Alistairth in the Daily Telegraph,
labelling me a deluded egotist who is toxifying British politics.
So let me just take you through a little bit of Alistair Heath's bile,
which is a great shame for me to see.
I used to respect this man very much, but then he tried to deride outspoken this show myself as being far right.
And I realized he is part of an establishment plot really to destroy us taking our country back.
The piece today headline Farage must reject Rupert Lowe's repugnant dance with white nationalism.
Restores positions veer frequently into bigotry and overstep the bounds of civil.
civilized discourse. He wrote,
It's time to call out Rupert Lowe, the leader of Restore, a deluded egotist who is
toxifying British politics, fanning the fires of racial and religious strife, and risks
handing permanent power to Andy Burnham's leftist revolutionaries. Restore goes further than any
of these increasingly mainstream right-wing positions, and, in my opinion, fears frequently into
bigotry. Lowe appears to be obsessed with race, not merely immigration. He states in his video that
White Britons will become a minority by 2063, a development he describes as demographic vandalism
that cannot be allowed to happen. You can agree as many non-white British citizens do that there
has been too much immigration, but the aim now must be to build a patriotic, integrated,
colour-blind, non-white society not to weaponise the horrors of white nationalism or to pit
white British people against their non-white fellow citizens. What counts is culture and allegiance,
not ethnic background.
One can be fully British, even if Britain isn't one's ancestral homeland.
Why does this need restating what fresh hell are we entering?
He then spoke about the video that Rupert Lowe made,
offering a potential peace talk deal with Nigel Farage,
but calling for the banning of both halal and kosher slaughter.
Heath writes customs he includes an
first place in a list of what he describes as barbaric foreign practices that have no place in our
high trust society. Heath goes on, this is despicable and puts Lowe beyond the pale. FRAGE must
resist Lowe's and refuse to give up his own principles. His long-standing ban on BNP members joining
his parties was far-sighted. It was a mistake for the Tories to help Lowe obtain a seat on
Public Accounts Committee. There are, and have always been, enemies to the right. They take a
different form in every generation. Baraj and Kemi Badenot must continue to build multi-racial,
multi-religious, small-sea conservative coalitions and reject Lowe's repugnant dance with white
nationalism and religious discrimination. If a deal is to be done, it will be between the Tories
and reform. Sensible right-wing commentators and politicians must speak out now against the bad apples
on their side or be a responsibility for the coming catastrophe.
Now, you can imagine it has all kicked off after that.
Charlie Downs, restore spokesman, writing,
I make no apology for demanding demographic security for my people in our homeland,
prompting a major intervention from Elon Musk just a few moments ago.
True, Heath is a traitor.
Rupert Lowe, adding, I see the comments from Telegraph subscribers are not going how
you hoped. Louis Brackpool of Restore, adding to point out the catastrophic consequences of
replacement migration is the bare minimum, politicians and respectable journalists must do. You are a
spineless traitor for countering this. Conner Tomlinson adding, what do you think the telegraph's
readership will be? If the native British population were replaced with Afghans, Pakistanis and
Somalis, Alistair, even lower than the positive comments under this article, I'd wager.
And Basil the Great, adding, there are over 1,600 comments from Telegraphs,
subscribers on this article. Nearly every single one is in support of Rupert Lowe. Why is the Telegraph happy to
see our people be replaced in our own homeland? The people are furious. We want our country back.
And I mean, I was scrolling through some of these comments. And I just wanted to share some of them
with you because these are daily Telegraph Patriots, lots of whom are saying they're going to cancel
their subscription. Like David Jones, who wrote, Alistair, I am disappointed. I'm normally a big fan
of your articles. But this attack on Rupert is totally desperate.
makes a lot of valid points and speaks to a lot of disenfranchised people who have been made to feel
like strangers in their own country. Or William Glover, who said, not wanting to become an ethnic minority
of my own hamloan is not a bad thing, actually. Or Jack Eastman, who said demographics is destiny.
No one voted for this. It must be reversed. Britain must be a majority white country.
Jimmy Ansel, we are a white Christian country. He is right. You are part of the problem. And I mean,
there was so much more of this. Alistair Cawton. Well, Telegraph, you've made your position known.
Harry Deertest, if not wanting to be a minority in your own ancient homeland as satanic as Heath insists,
then all of the invader peoples who are making the indigenous, Scots, Welsh, Irish and English
minorities and their homelands are also satanic because not one of them would tolerate it.
In fact, there is not a single people on earth who would tolerate it.
And yet Heath says that for British people to feel that way is monstrous and crosses a line.
His assertion that banning halal and kosher meat would lead to a civil war is ludicrous.
as Belgium, a country which is far more Islam-sized than Britain, banned kosher and halal meat years ago,
and lo and behold, there has never been a civil war there.
However, the fact that he thinks that banning halal meat would cause the Muslims on our soil to wage war on us
shows that he himself knows that all his sugary remarks about moderate Muslims are nonsense.
David Collins, oh, and you don't understand the halal thing, Alistair,
banning non-stun slaughter, especially if ensuring all pre-stunning is not reversible,
which may kill the animal outright, would like to.
not be well received in Manchester or Glasgow. So you can see, it is kicking off. And unfortunately,
I think we now have to put the Daily Telegraph in that category of the enemy. To respond,
Ben Habib is here. Well, Ben, so great to have you today because it is all kicked off. It is all
kicked off. And you can see this sort of dual attack now coming on Restore Britain. So you
You have the BBC trying to humiliate Rupert live on air, suggesting there's no Islamic takeover
whatsoever.
But you also have the Daily Telegraph, really, really going from him and basically saying
you were trying to create a civil war.
So who do you think is right in this debate, Ben?
Well, there's a hell of a lot to unpick here.
Oh, yes.
I may say so, that's all of it incredibly sensitive.
but I think the root cause of the problems of this country
and just bear with me as I make this case,
the root cause of the problems with this country
are not to do with Islam,
they're not to do with immigration,
they're not to do with mass immigration or illegal migration.
The root cause is a failure of successive British governments
and successive leaders right across the various institutions in this country,
including education establishments, our military, our police, and so on,
failing to protect that which is British,
effectively being prepared, and having done so over decades,
the sacrificing of everything that we took for granted as being British,
meaning to be British, our language, our history, our national heroes,
our Christian constitution, our cultural Christian heritage,
as distinct from Constitution, because they are slightly different things.
Our legislative framework, which has been taken over by internationalism,
undermined by domestic institutions created largely under Tony Blair
and gold-plated through successive governments.
What we've got is a complete undermining of the United Kingdom
as a result of the kinds of forces that I've just very, very briefly described.
And Islam, just going back to the opening,
opening comments on Islam,
the evidence that you were, you know,
Nick Robinson was asking Rupert Loebate.
Islam doesn't suffer any of the lack of confidence that we have.
It's a muscular, proselytizing, on its front foot, self-confident.
You might say it's almost like an adolescent teenager
who's been to the gym, he's really worked out,
he's pumped up, and he meets this old fogey,
which is the United Kingdom,
so civilized, in its cardigan, with its pipe,
simply not prepared to stand up for itself.
If Islam isn't the instrument which puts the United Kingdom out of its misery,
some other strong ideology will put us out of our misery.
The weakness is in ourselves.
The fault is in ourselves.
We have allowed through decades of mismanagement of this country
to create a position where we now have forces in this country
that are antithetical to what we have.
we took for granted, certainly my generation did when it was younger, what we took for granted.
And I blame my generation and subsequent generations that have come after mine for not fighting
to protect that which was important, but allowing ourselves to be so civilised that we make ourselves
prone to being put out of our misery by another force. And by the way, this exposition that I've just given is nothing new.
all civilizations that actually go through what we're going through.
Most great civilizations in history eventually end up being put out of their misery
because they become so civilized, they become so weak,
they become so unprepared to fight that even the smallest self-confident,
antithetical ideology will infect it and kill it.
And that's the risk.
That's the risk.
Especially when you look at Muhammad Hidjab, you know, just sorry to interrupt but just to prompt you,
you know, that poster, I mean, he is a prominent Islamist, a very popular Islamist.
And, you know, Ben Herri is literally saying, if you don't like it, you can leave.
You know, we are going to impose Sharia law whether you like it or not.
And that's the fight that you're talking about. He's got the fight.
That is the fight. That is the fight. That this is the fight. And, you know, Rupert Lowe was asked about the king, whether or not he's a white Britain.
I mean, of course, the answer is, of course, he's a white Britain.
Frankly, his colour, I'm not big into colour, as you know, Dan.
I don't really care about the skin colour of an individual.
And I'm just going to go back and say this.
I want to, there's got to be a bit of a history lesson here, if you don't mind.
Please.
British imperialism was not founded on going abroad, conquering people, subjugating them,
and then raping, pillaging, and sending back their wealth.
to this country. British imperialism and why our empire was such a phenomenal empire, why I'm so proud
of it and why I think we should hold it up as an exemplar, actually went abroad and we communicated with
people, convinced them that our way of life was good, that our practices were good, that our legal
system was good, and when we went abroad, we built irrigation systems, we built judicial systems,
you know, drainage and all the rest of it.
We were investors in the empire we created.
And everyone in the British Empire, every member of every colony, was a British subject.
We were the original globalists, except we did it from a position of supreme self-confidence,
supreme strength, which was antithetical to the weakness you now find in the United Kingdom.
So my father, who was born in British India in 1933, was a British state.
subject. And there is no threat of the United Kingdom from all these millions of foreigners
across the world who were British subjects, because Britain understood what it was. And it had convinced
those people who came to this country, aspirational immigrants who came to this country in the
1950s, 60s and 70s, that actually it's our way of life that they're coming to join. Because
our way of life is so brilliant. And they came here to be assimilated what we're now.
now seeing is people coming to this country in their hordes from parts of the globe, parts of
Pakistan, from which polite Pakistani society would not mix. And we've brought them into the bosom
of the United Kingdom and we're setting ourselves aside for it. So what I would like to see more
of from Restore Britain is not the hitting the problem straight on the head and trying to now put
the genie back in the box, but go to the box and look at it.
underneath the box and say, what the hell is it that allowed this genie to pop out in the first place?
How do we pull this genie back in the box peacefully without having to have this kind of debate about
ethno-nationalism, whether or not King's Charles is white? What we need to do, Dan, is rediscover the strength
of our own people. And that can only happen by a root and branch restoration,
Rupert gets this of the United Kingdom.
And I would also just go on and quickly say, if I may,
that people like Keir Starmer,
Burnham, particularly Burnham, David Lammy,
the front bench of the Labour Party,
the vast majority of backbenchers in the Labour Party,
the liberal Democrats, the Greens, and so they present,
even if they're white, even if both parents were born here,
they present a much bigger danger to this country
than the average aspirational immigrant
who came to this country in the 1970.
or before that. There's a very different, I'm just coming back to the form of immigration,
there's a very big difference between the kind of immigrants who came here back in those decades
than what we've got now. And it is people like Kirstama, the front bench of the Labor Party,
the backbenchers, the Liberal Democrats, et cetera. They're the enemy. They're the ones who are
perpetuating our weakness, who aren't prepared to fight for this country. And that's what we've got
to rediscover. This country needs to pull itself up from its bootstraps. It needs to develop a
bloody backbone and it needs to be proud of who it is, understand what it's meant to be protecting,
and then fight off any antithetical ideologies that seek to put us aside. The strength has to
come from within us. Okay, I want to show you, Ben, two different sides of this argument,
both from the hard left, who I think are absolutely prepared to be racist,
and this is an example involving you,
but also from the ordinary right, or as others would call it, the far right,
who actually point out, well, no, no, no, no,
that the white English are hugely at threat far, far more than the global majority.
But let's start with the left, okay, and the toxicity of the left,
because an interview between yourself and Yasmin Alibaya Brown,
a hard leftist on LBC, is going viral again with claims by the British Stand YouTube channel,
very, very good channel, that Yasmin was actually being racist towards you, Ben.
So I just want to remind everyone about what went down.
Let me remind the people listening.
You're as brown as I am.
Don't quite as brown as me.
Yours is artificial.
So, never forget who you are.
Secondly, you know, no, you've had your day.
I'm speaking now.
What's my ethnicity got to do with protecting the civil society in this country?
Because, yeah, that is your heritage.
And if there had been people, I should let, I'm going to speak.
This is perhaps the best optical evidence of a failing nation state, a state that simply can't enforce its borders.
It wishes to go abroad and have intervention.
of foreign countries and make the case for intervening in Ukraine and fighting Putin and so on and
challenging Iran and etc but incapable of enforcing its own borders the basic principle of security for
the United Kingdom has been set aside and as I say it's the most optical optically sort of
alarming vision of a failing state we have to stop illegal migration into this country it has to
It has to be stopped.
For the sake of those trying to come here,
but most of all, for civil society in the United Kingdom.
Clearly a very sensible point, but Ben,
she then invoked your race again and said that you should remember who you are.
Watch.
Never forget who you are.
Secondly, you know, no, you've had your day.
I'm speaking up.
What my ethnicity got to do with protecting the civil society is government?
So you're saying, I should let us speak.
I'm going to speak.
I'm going to speak.
I'm going to speak.
I'm going to speak.
You can come back when she's made a point.
you be polite.
I was being polite.
No, you're not, no, be polite and let me speak.
We never hear, it's so convenient, right?
To blame those people on boats
whom we never see, we never hear,
they're not on these programs.
Their stories are never told.
And one thing I do agree with Ben, sort of,
will you stop behaving like a hooligan
and let me speak?
They're coming from France.
I mean, if there's one man on the right
who's not acting like a hooligan, Ben, Habib, it's you.
But this clip has gone massively,
viral over the past day because British stand did a reaction video to it and pointed out that
this is an example of the racism from the left, that you are demanded and forced and guilt
tripped into thinking a particular way because of the color of your skin. How do you feel about it now?
Sorry, I thought you were going to show a clip of something else. Yeah, no, I mean, I can't bear all this
discussion about skin color. I find it hugely patronizing.
I don't need progressive discrimination in my favor in order to get on in life.
I don't want someone to tell me that because I'm brown, I need a special leg up,
that I must make the case for all brown people irrespective of their belief system
or their capability, the merits or demerits of whether or not they should have a job.
I don't care.
What I want is people are people who love this country, who believe in this country,
who are of this country in the sense that they recognize its history,
recognize its national heroes, speak its language in the true sense,
are prepared to die for this country.
I want capable people like that.
That's what I want.
I don't really care about skin color.
I do agree, I do wholeheartedly agree,
that the rate of demographic change is too big.
And I don't need to be a white supremacist in order to say that.
I can be brown, yellow, whatever other color you want, black, whatever.
I can still believe and understand
that the rate of demographic change,
which is effectively the rate of change
of a country's culture,
or destruction of a country's culture,
is too fast.
You know, civilizations, cultures,
they evolve.
All cultures evolve.
If you were to read a book written 200 years ago in England,
it would be quite demanding to understand some of the language
because the culture and the language has evolved.
But there's a natural pace
and a natural slow rate of human.
evolution that cultures can tolerate.
Yeah, this is too fast.
And this is too fast.
And that's the rate of demographic change that we've got to stop.
Can I put the, so that's where it comes from from the left, right?
I want to put to you the counter argument coming from the right.
Now, you know I don't like the terms Siv Nat and Ethernet, but this would, I guess,
critics would say, oh, this is the Ethno Nat side.
But it's a woman called Lucy White, who I like very much, regular here on outspoken.
and she is part of Restore Britain.
She's also a policy analyst, very smart woman.
And she has pointed out, and I just want to show you,
because she's brought the receipts,
and I know you know this,
but I think a lot of people will be shocked about it.
And she's really trying to make the point
that it really is the white British native population,
who is the real minority,
and as a result, deserves protected status.
Watch this.
It's really important that we break this fake narrative
that anyone of black or Asian ethnic background
is a minority.
here in Great Britain. It's simply not true. If we look at the numbers, there are 1.5 billion
Indians in India. There are 1.4 billion Chinese in China. There are 260 million Pakistanis in Pakistan
and our 243 million Nigerians in Nigeria. But when we look at Great Britain, in terms of the
indigenous people, the English, the Welsh, the Scottish, and also we can include the
Northern Irish, those with ancestry in the British trials, there are only 50 million of us.
And so India has 30 times more people than we have. China has 28 times more people than we have.
And then Nigeria and Pakistan each have around five times more people than we have. And so the idea
that they come here and are suddenly a minority is a ludicrous claim. And the reason why it's
problematic is because many diversity, equity and inclusion programs face.
either those and say that they are the ethnic minorities as opposed to us.
And then actually goes on to include the whole of the Anglosphere.
And I think the figures still remain really stark. Watch.
Even if you were to include all the Anglo-Saxons across the Anglosphere,
there would still be only around 200 million of us,
which is less than the populations of all those four countries I've just mentioned.
And what's also shocking is if we take Nigeria alone,
Nigeria had 4 million more births last year than the entire birth rate across the EU.
So this is concerning because these four countries are also the top four countries
coming into the UK in terms of long-term immigration.
And Indians, followed by Pakistanis, followed by Nigerians,
are the top three nationalities to be handed out our British citizenships.
And of course, we know that the Home Office is handing our passports out like confetti.
as last year they gave out 737 British citizenship
on average every single day.
And so why is it important to talk about this?
Because we need remigration to allow those people
to flourish in their countries
and for the indigenous people of Great Britain
to flourish here in our own country
because we are becoming a minority.
And therefore, policies should be in favour of us
and protect us and not protect the global majority.
So Ben, Ben, Habib,
that's sort of the skin color argument, I guess.
So I just wanted to show that to you and get your response.
I think it's a perfectly natural reaction to the rate of demographic change
that we've been talking about this country's been experiencing.
People are bound to look.
I mean, I see this where I live in West London.
You know, it was a predominantly white place, all white, five years ago, six years ago.
And actually now it isn't.
and I see lots of women wearing clothes, which are, you know, more akin to what you'd expect to see in downtown Riyadh.
And this is the optical representation of this massive shift in demography that's taken place,
which is unsettling civilization in this country.
And that's a perfectly valid and entirely correct point to make.
The problem that I have with some of the debate around ethnicity is when you start trying to, look, we're not Japan, okay?
Japan is largely a pure race country.
We are part of a very rich fabric, a very rich history,
where we went abroad, we met lots of people, made love to them, had babies.
They came here, they made love to lots of people, and they had babies.
And I'm not talking just about recent history,
where brown people and black people made love to white people and so on.
I'm going back to the right through history.
You know, we've been going over to Europe,
and they've been coming over here, and there's a mixture that's going on.
And I've made the point, for example,
that George I first, the first king of Great Britain, as distinct from England,
the first king of Great Britain was born in Germany, didn't speak a word of English.
He was German, he was German through and through.
The royal family now, including King Charles.
Because your mother is white English, right?
Just for people who might not realize.
But no one, no one on the right of British politics can be threatened by me.
Because when they see me and they know me, they know that I am absolutely with them.
And I would die on a hill for this country.
And one of the jokes I made on a podcast recently
is if any government should get into office,
which ultimately deport me,
I'll be actually, I'll be disappointed to be deported,
but I'll know the United Kingdom has been saved.
You know, it perhaps has gone a bit too extreme
on the other side of it.
But the reason I'm not a threat
is because I am completely culturally assimilated into the United Kingdom.
So ultimately, I absolutely see the point UC's making.
and it's an absolutely understandable reaction
to what she's seeing on the streets of London
and across the United Kingdom.
But fundamentally, fundamentally it comes down to,
it does come down to,
are we culturally assimilated and not identical,
but homogeneous?
Are we homogeneous?
Do we have a community that's homogeneous?
Do we have a nation state that's homogeneous?
And by the way, to have a nation state,
you've got to have a culture that's homogeneous.
Multiculturalism fundamentally cares
a nation apart because you've got lots of different cultures competing for that space.
You've got to have a common culture.
And this is why I come back to where I started.
It's our weakness in this country that we have not been proud of our culture and that we
haven't stamped that on every single generation and that we haven't prevented immigration
taking place that sets our culture aside.
We've done the opposite, as Lucy was suggesting, progressively discriminating in favor
of people who've come to this country.
That is lunacy.
That is utter lunacy.
Setting your country aside for foreigners.
It's madness.
The problem we've got is that the madness,
which also includes DEI,
which also includes a craven desire
to only report good things
if you happen to be non-white,
is leading to the most extraordinary stories which blows up the entire narrative.
And I think that's why the case of the Cambridge professor, Jason Arde, has gone around the world.
Look at some of our front pages.
Today, the Daily Telegraph, the Times, the Daily Mail,
which have all produced astonishing revelations about this total charlatan, this fraud, this embarrassment are prominent.
But actually, if you look at most of the mainstream media and the mainstream broadcast media,
they have tried to turn this story into a race war,
suggests that the reason we're going after this guy is because he is black,
rather than because he is one of the biggest liars in the history of the United Kingdom.
And it's becoming also obvious and apparent how this happened, right?
Because there is a newly released BBC report that had previously been broadcast,
but at that point, of course, we knew nothing about Professor Jason our day,
where his boss at Cambridge University is captured on camera
calling the fantasist, quote, the best in the world.
Watch.
And now Jason is days away from achieving another ambition.
Hey.
I'm good to see you.
Here's his new boss at Cambridge.
We do have a lot of work to do, but I feel really optimistic.
There will be those. I think this is a tokenistic appointment. What are your thoughts on this?
The Board of Electors on your interview day were absolutely unanimous. We are so lucky to have you.
You are the best in the world in terms of the research that you do.
An extraordinary journey, but for Jason, this is not an end. It's a beginning.
Professor Creeman.
Professor Creeman should resign, shouldn't she?
and, you know, clearly the BBC had done no research either.
And this has fed into all of their coverage.
The independent journalist Stephen Edgington, writing the BBC are doubling down on our
day even now.
Read how BBC News reported the story.
And it's true.
They sort of say he is defending himself against a disgraced race realist
and that his critics are likely motivated by racism.
Indeed, even last night, once our day,
had finally accepted the inevitable after Cambridge University eventually launched an investigation
and he quit. Even at that point, I want to show you the BBC's news coverage, it came right
down the bottom of their bulldooms and they don't view this as a big story. And all of the language
is desperately couched to try and make us think that in some way this guy is being treated in this
way because of his skin colour. A Cambridge professor who's been the subject of intense media
scrutiny after claims of plagiarism and questions about his CV has resigned. Hours after Cambridge
said it would investigate his qualifications and honorary appointments. Nor Nanji is here with us,
nor this is Professor Jason Ardee, who's been the subject of many questions in the media in the last few weeks.
That's right, Rita. So Professor Jason Ardee, this is Cambridge's youngest ever black professor.
He joined the university back in 2023. But as you say, he's been facing these allegations
of plagiarism. Ever since another academic who was sacked from his role at Cambridge back in
2024 said he had noticed numerous instances of plagiarism in Professor Arde's work and also
questioned some of his stated achievements. Now, this row has been bubbling for weeks in the media
and so on. It all came to a head at around 6 o'clock this evening when Cambridge University
announced that they were launching a probe following new information about him.
Now, shortly afterwards, just a couple of hours later, Professor Ardey announced that he was quitting in a letter that was published on the Good Law Project's website.
And in that letter, he said that he was facing an unrelenting level of public scrutiny and personal attack and that he needed time to heal.
Now, he didn't address the specific allegations around plagiarism in that letter, but he has been defending himself recently, including on the weekend, in an interview with the times in which he insisted he was not a liar.
He said that some errors in his earlier academic work could be related to his autism.
And he also told the time that there had been a concerted campaign to remove him from the university,
which he argued was racially motivated.
But it gets even more crazy.
The tit whisperer, Zach Polanski, the Green Party leader, Erasebator,
was actually live on air on LBC when it was announced that Ardei had stood down.
and he decided to stand by his decision to try and turn this story into a race war watch.
Jason Ardey, Cambridge Professor of Sociology and Education.
Back on July the 30th, you signed an open letter in support of him,
saying that there was an orchestrated and grim effort to delegitimize a young working class academic
for the sin of being successful while black.
Do you still stand by him?
Well, I don't know, Jason.
And the reason why I signed that letter is ultimately it was saying that we should have a fair process,
that the university should have a fair investigation, and that there shouldn't be judged by social media or by the telegraph newspaper.
I've just heard that while we've been on the air, Jason Arde has resigned from the University of Cambridge with immediate effect.
So what's your reaction to that?
I think the whole affair sounds pretty sad.
Again, I think it would be good actually if the investigation still was carried out because I think it would be good to know the truth.
But ultimately, I think these things should be about fair process and transparency rather than trial by media.
And I've got to ask you, should you have known more about him before you signed that letter?
No, the letter was about principles, and the principles was about the university being able to conduct an investigation if it needed to.
It had already done, I think, two investigations and found there was no problem here, or the allegations were unfounded.
And so it was about essentially saying that people of colour, particularly in society, can sometimes be held.
by higher standards. So there you go. There you go. Oh no, it's not the fact that he's the biggest
fantasist on the planet. It's because he's black. That's what it's about. I mean, just a reminder,
by the way, I don't know if you've followed this story closely, but it is quite funny too.
Ardei actually claimed that he was part of that very, very famous Granada series Seven Up,
you know, where they took people and looked through their lives every seven years and see how they
developed. And, I mean, he was born decades after it started. So, really,
Really, there shouldn't need to be an investigation.
His lies have all been captured on video.
Look.
So I was just, I just turned 18.
I learned to read and write.
And I was part of a program, actually,
which it doesn't really exist anymore,
but it was called Seven Up at the time.
And Seven Up is basically when they follow you
over the duration of your life.
So they follow you at kind of 7, 14, 21.
And I was pulled.
Okay, now I want to compare and contrasts now.
The coverage around our day with the coverage around this man, Joshua Bonehill Payne.
Former neo-Nazi totally cleaned up as act.
A great redemption story.
Very prominent on X as the crew corn man who makes lots of these AI videos.
and the mainstream media, rather than talk about the huge story of the Cambridge professor,
have instead obsessed over the fact that he was going to be a candidate for the conservatives at the next election,
you know, the local elections. Indeed, can you believe it? Woke ITV and Paul Brand ignored the Cambridge story
altogether to lead their 10 o'clock bulletin on Joshua Bonehill Payne. And they were hysterical about it.
When a former neo-Nazi even admits himself that he cannot continue as a conservative candidate,
why is Kemi Badnock finding him another job instead?
We're all going to be accused of being racist, look them in the face and say so what?
This is Joshua Bonehill-Pain before he was standing to be a Tory councillor in Somerset.
He was convicted of racially harassing a Jewish MP.
Outcry means he won't now run for election.
Instead, he'll become an advisor to the Conservatives.
I looked at this case very carefully.
This was a judgment call.
And this is someone who has served his sentence.
If we're saying, no, no, no, you're untouchable.
Then how can we pretend that we believe in rehabilitation?
Kemi Badenog argues that everyone deserves a chance to change, and her new advisor has done
just that, reforming himself from a neo-Nazi to become an expert on de-radicalization.
Was he ever fit to stand for office?
Some wonder why on earth the Conservatives are so keen to cling on to him?
Okay, but it gets even more nuts, because Channel 4 News was also obsessed over this story.
And so they thought, oh, we're going to get someone.
We're going to get someone from the Labour government to put the boot in.
And guess who they chose to put the boot in?
And she did.
Louise Haig, the effective deputy prime minister who is a convicted fraudster.
a criminal who has been totally forgiven.
So as far as I can tell, basically, if you're on the left,
you can be forgiven for being a criminal.
If you're on the right, you must be cancelled for everyone.
Because you know that's how they treat Tommy Robinson too.
But I promise you that actually happened.
This is convicted criminal, Louise Haig,
saying another convicted criminal should not be given a chance to enter politics,
even though she is now effectively Andy Burnham's deputy prime minister watch.
Bonehill Paine's selection had been roundly criticised.
He was convicted of racially harassing Labour MP Luciana Berger, who's Jewish in 2016.
For those that know me, you'll know that I post fairly controversial stuff.
A year after he was jailed for posting anti-Semitic material.
The judge in his sentencing remarks when he was convicted said it was difficult to imagine a worse case of racially aggravated harassment.
So I think it is really for the Tory party,
to answer themselves,
why have they allowed a candidate to stand
who could have subjected a British MP
to the level of trauma and harassment
that he has been found guilty of?
Irony is dead.
Irony is dead to Ben Habib
Chair of the brilliant, great British pack,
former deputy leader of Reform UK.
Ben, can you understand why I'm literally sitting there last night?
Like, monitoring,
all of this coverage and thinking, we just live in a crazy world, a crazy world where Jason
Arday will be forgiven and the story will be covered up by the mainstream media because of his
skin color. Yet with, you know, what's his name, Joseph Bonehill Payne, it's like he will be
forever damned. Yeah. I mean, the R-Day story, by the way is very, very serious, much more serious
perhaps and people at first glance think it to be.
I think it's easy to dismiss it.
Has progressive discrimination gone wrong?
There's a guy who clearly isn't capable of being a professor at Cambridge University,
gets made a professor because he's black, gets found out, gets sacked.
But it's much, much worse than that.
We have to put into context the implications of this,
which are that one of the best universities in the world,
a university, actually I was at Cambridge,
and I was incredibly privileged to be there,
surrounded by brightest minds.
by your former university?
I am utterly ashamed by my former university.
I fell out with my college in 2020.
I'm going to name them.
I was at Robinson College.
I donated significant sums of money to Robinson College.
And I wrote to them in 2020.
Then I watched the BLM stuff happened in June 2020.
And I wrote, and Robinson College came out publicly
saying that they supported Black Lives Matter.
And I wrote to the head of development, the head of the development office at Robinson College,
and I said, are you aware that this is a far-left political extremist movement?
It's got nothing to do with equity across, you know, anti-racism or anything.
This is a vile left-wing movement.
And they came back and they basically ostracized me.
I haven't, I've been, you know, I've made quite a political mark,
maybe in a small way compared to others, but I've made a political mark.
They haven't once invited me to speak.
They get on all sorts of other politicians to speak.
They've never had me back.
They don't invite me to stuff anymore.
And that's the end of my relationship with Robinson College
because I differed with them over Black Lives Matter.
When the extinction rebellion dug up the lawns of Trinity College,
which would result in criminal charges, typically,
Trinity College turned a blind eye to it because it's fallen.
And so what you're seeing here,
And this is the bigger point about our day is the undermining of one of the greatest educational establishments that has ever graced this world taking place in front of our eyes.
And it happens to be in the United Kingdom.
The other great educational establishment in this country is also being fundamentally undermined.
Oxford. Oxford is a shadow of its former self.
When I was first debated at the Oxford Union, Dan, I went there, prepidacious.
I've done lots of debates, but I went quite scared about Oxford Union because I thought, oh my God, I'm going to be up against some of the brightest, youngest minds in the world.
You know, because I'd liken them to the Oxford Union that I was aware of.
Now it's the wokenest minds in the world.
And I mean, I was so underwhelmed.
I was so disappointed that what were you debating?
I was debating Islam whether or not it's compatible with democracy.
and the position taken by the congregation was already against me.
They didn't want to hear my arguments.
They didn't want, they'd already categorize me as being wrong.
It didn't matter what I said, I was going to be wrong.
And for about an hour, by the way,
I don't know if anyone who's been to an Oxford University debate, perhaps we'll know this.
Before the debate has come on, they have business of the house that takes place privately
before the debate takes place.
We had a one and a half hour debate of the business of the house,
amongst the student population themselves over racism, over progressive discrimination,
over someone's rights being, some woman's rights being abused because she was photographed
without her permission. It was so disheartening. And so Ardei represents the collapse of excellent
education, not just in this country, but particularly I care because it's in this country,
but in the world. Western civilization is being undermined by this ridiculous swing
towards progressive discrimination.
This guy is a fraudulent fantasist.
He shouldn't have been anywhere near Cambridge University.
Of course.
And then, Ben, you get to the fact that Joshua Bonehill Payne
was given this opportunity to potentially prove
that you can rehabilitate neo-Nazis,
and he's doing great work,
and Kemi Badenok knew about it and stood by it.
But the most predictable thing happened,
which there was a mainstream.
media beat up and he's gone. Now, this has split the right, actually, because Reform
UK are saying, no, absolutely not. You know, this is disgusting that he was given a second
chance. And I understand both sides of this argument. But to me, yet again, it's the hypocrisy
that we have a convicted criminal as First Minister of State in Louise Haig. And no one has an
issue with it. Totally, totally. Look, I can't comment on this chap that Kemi Bade not wanted to put
forward. I don't know enough about him. But what he did is a teenager, what he did as a youth,
actually needs to be set aside. And this is where we hang ourselves, but we hoist ourselves by
our own partard on this desire to be politically correct. And reform gets this wrong time and time
again. Reform, I'm afraid, has brought into progressive discrimination. You'll see reform
output. It makes a virtue of the fact that it's got multi-ethnic counselors and, you know,
it doesn't matter what color you are. Stop it. Just get the best people in the jobs at their best
place to do. That's it. That's all that matters. And I hope Kemi, I hope Kemi has judged this guy
on the merits and demerits of his capability of being a counselor rather than anything else.
Breaking today, Talk TV in crisis as its ratings collapse amid a mid-earning.
a surge for GB News. Indeed, new figures show listening hours at Talk down 21% in just a quarter.
Many saying this is as a result of Mike Graham being axed from the station to set up independently.
And we will hear exclusively from Mike in just one moment. But first, I want to bring you the cold, hard figures.
These are the Ray Jha figures. And the report really focused on the search.
surge of G.B. News up 34% year on year, which is pretty extraordinary. But then if you look at the
breakfast program, this is where Mike Graham previously presented, and it's now Jeremy Kyle
who has taken over. You'll see those 289,000 listeners are well below both GB News Radio, which is
just a simulcast of what's on TV and Times Radio 2.
There's some more reporting on this.
The news radio market saw significant movement.
GB News Radio was one of the fastest growing stations in the UK,
increasing its audience by 34% year-on-year to 731,000 listeners
overtaking both Talk and Times Radio.
Talk reached 543,000 weekly listeners down 3%.
It's 4.9 million listing hours represented annual growth of 15% although, and this is the key point. Hours were down 21% quarter on quarter.
Calvin McKenzie posting astonishing numbers from GB News Radio, who have seen their audience jump by 34%.
The latest rage has also showed that hours for the station, it's the important trading currency, leaped an amazing 78%.
But he added, talk radio.
crashed 21%. Talks shocker will be due to Mike Graham moving his breakfast show from them to UK
live at the turn of the year. And UK live is, of course, the new station that Mike Graham and
Calvin McKenzie have set up. And so Calvin actually decided to celebrate the slump from Talk
live on the show today. Watch.
The talk radio's audience has collapsed, right? It's fallen by 21%.
Right. And the reason for that, the reason for that is that Mike Graham moved in January, as you know, to UK Live.
Here we are. UK Live, UK Live's gone that way. Talk Radio's gone down that way. So congratulations for that.
He then broke the news live on air to Mike Graham.
So some good news for you, which I hope that you would have spotted, but if you haven't, it is good news.
is that talk radio's audience has collapsed by 21%.
And the reason it's collapsed.
Sorry.
My condolences.
Well, they finally admitted it, right?
Because you know what they did?
No, but hold on a second.
The reason is, as I've pointed out in a tweet,
is your move from talk radio to UK Live.
Right?
Now, UK Live will one day be a BMeth.
At the moment, it's just a bee, but the moth is on its way.
So, congratulations for causing the problem.
Because the bloke who took your place is a friend of yours, isn't it?
Jeremy Carl.
Jeremy Carl.
Right, now, Jeremy Carl was good at insulting, thick council-house tenants.
You don't have a good word to say about him, do you?
Well, I have a word for him, but it's not a good word, right?
Look, there is, no, I'm in favour of talent.
Jeremy Kyle is a very, very decent guy, right?
It was very helpful to me during my time of trouble.
Calvin McKinsey, though, does think Jeremy Kyle's past on ITV is a big part of the problem.
Between you two guys.
One, you are a natural broadcaster in a sense of, you know, whether it's YouTube or radio or whatever.
Whereas he made his money by abusing dim council house tenants.
And when it was found out that this actually had led to a number of the people that he was cross-questioned in killing themselves.
But you know what's interesting, though?
His job then disappeared.
No, but you know what's interesting about Jeremy?
The reason he's good at what he does is because he actually starting in radio.
And proper radio people know this, right?
But he was music radio.
It wasn't speech radio.
No, he was speech radio.
He used to, he did it.
I thought he was in Birmingham or something.
Yeah, but he did an overnight show and he started the whole.
Yeah, he did the whole business of, you know, he had an agony aunt would come in.
He had people ringing up about six problems.
Actually, we should do that.
So, you know, we should have.
I know that is a good idea.
But there is another factor, and I've actually seen loads of you in the live chat mentioning this,
it's another big problem.
Of course, Mike's departure was a massive problem.
He was a huge star, the biggest star on the station by far.
But it isn't the only problem.
The other big problem is that Reform UK and Talk TV have become increasingly aligned.
And lots of people on the right who maybe feel like, oh, I want to support Restore Britain,
or support the Conservatives or UKIP or whatever it happens to be
feel like they've been forced out.
And that's because clips like this are going viral.
Do you remember Alex Phillips and young Bob?
Listen, can you not see where I'm coming from, Bob,
that we need to be very clear about this?
Because otherwise we're on a slippery...
We're on a slippery slope to something quite frightening.
Which is?
Which is, like I said, going door to door and saying to people...
Who suggested that?
That's what I'm asking you,
I don't think anybody, not Charlie Downs nor you, are able to answer me how you execute.
No one suggested this hypothesis that you've posited.
So of course it's not the policy of restore.
So explain to me how you prosecute a policy where people who don't integrate are being deported.
It's a great sentence.
Very, very simple.
How?
If you have ideas that geometrically oppose the ideas of the native British people,
you then begin to ban those ideas, then you announce.
an act of British ice to deport these people if they don't adhere to the law.
You're banning and deporting people based on ideas.
Ideas exist inside someone's head.
Do you not see why this is so dangerous?
Practices.
I just think we've got to.
And there have also been examples this week.
Like Kevin O'Sullivan, really not giving the brilliant Ola menhain of Restore Britain much of a go at all.
Really, really, really, you really think Nigel Farage is going to say to Rupert, fair enough.
in effect, sack Robert Jenrick, Suella Braverman and Danny Kruger.
He's not going to do it, is he?
It's called negotiation.
Any business person...
Well, why did Ruper put that in?
Why did he make it difficult?
He was a starting point.
Every businessman or woman goes into a negotiation with her.
Why not just say, let's work together?
Introducing you to the real world.
Nigel Farad.
Nigel Farage.
Nigel Farage.
Well, I'm going to introduce you to the real world,
because Nigel Farage will not accept that order to get rid of general...
Well, okay, there won't be a deal then.
So we've sorted it out then.
So this is all a waste of time then.
You call Farage, I'll pull Rupert and will say no deal
because me and you decided.
Look, at the end of the day, they need to have a conversation.
That is what men do.
And then, of course, there was that clash between Julia Hartley-Bruhe
and Charlie Downs of Restore Britain.
I noticed, by the way, that you're saying,
and others in the mainstream media have actually routinely failed to mention all five about policy.
I must have mentioned about five times on there yesterday.
Well, many of your colleagues have routinely failed to mention one of the most important ones.
I would say the most important one, which is demographic security for the white British people.
Why is there being fewer birds to white British, as opposed to, say, black British or brown British people?
Why is that a threat to our country?
Well, I think you've just answered that yourself, Julia.
And that is that this is a very recent change in our nation's demographic.
I'm with all due respect.
I don't think you're as clever as you think you are.
That you are constantly conflating the issue of immigration.
I've just said to you, there is an issue with immigration and people who are not integrated.
But I don't see what that's got to do with skin colour.
So, Julia, you are here acting as a mouthpiece for the regime that currently government.
Oh, do shut up, Charlie.
You're embarrassing yourself.
What you're saying?
So what's it all about?
What is the collapse of talk all about?
Is it down to their coverage or is it down to the rise of the independent media?
Mike Graham has been investigating today exclusively for Outspoken.
Good day, and this is a very good day.
It's a very auspicious day, and it's a day that many people in the radio business dread,
because it is, of course, Rajar Day.
Now, Ray Jard Day, when I used to work in the radio business,
was one of those terrifying events that came around once every three months,
where you get to find out how many people are listening to your show,
how long they're listening to it for, how often they listen to it,
and exactly how much it's going up, or whether it's going down,
or whether it's going absolutely nowhere.
For many people, Rajar Day, is incredibly nerve-wracking
for executives in broadcasting companies
and for media executives and media bosses everywhere.
It is an absolute nightmare,
because obviously, if you're in commercial radio in particular,
the Ray JARs are so important,
because if they're going down,
then advertisers are not going to be that keen to come and advertise,
and if they're not going up, you're not making as much money as if they were.
So it is absolutely do or die for an awful lot of radio executives today
looking at their figures to see how they're going.
Now, there are plenty of winners and plenty of losers,
and I'll talk you through what those are.
Right now, for example, the BBC as a whole has lost something like 750,000 listeners
over the course of a year.
That will probably be down to the fact that Radio 4 is losing listeners hand over fist
because it's become so woke and awful.
Five Live is going the same way.
That's not exactly what you might call a festival of fun, is it?
And of course, an awful lot of the local radio stations
are going to be shut down or merged anyway.
But of course, if you work for the BBC,
you don't have to worry too much
in terms of the actual survival of what it is that you do
because you're not really measured in the same way
as you are in commercial radio.
In commercial radio, if your figures go down
and it continues to go down,
then pretty soon you'll be out of a job.
And if your show and the numbers on that show keep going down,
you won't have a show anymore, and they'll give the show to somebody else.
And that's kind of how it works.
It's pretty cutthroat.
It is cutthroat, so we'll talk, be able to continue.
Watch.
So here's what happened, right?
Today, I was informed this morning, actually, by Kelvin McKenzie,
because I wasn't aware of Ray Jars that they were coming out today
because I'm no longer in the radio business.
I'm now in the YouTube business, the independent media space business.
So I wasn't really particularly paying attention to what the Ray Jars were saying.
But Kelton McKenzie put out a tweet because he found out that, first of all, a couple of headlines, right?
G.B News has gone up massively, I think 34% up to 730 odd thousand people listening to GB News Radio.
That's every single week. That's on top of, of course, the people they've got watching on television.
So big result for them, very good result for them.
And they've now overtaken both talk and Times Radio.
Times Radio does about 660,000 a week.
And talk is now down to just over half a million, 500, 500,000 odd.
per week. So, but what Kelvin said was interesting because what he said was that in fact,
there can only be one reason why Torque's figures have dipped. And talk's figures have dipped in
quite a significant way, because what's happened is they've lost 21% of their hours. Now, the hours
are the amount of time that people actually listen to the radio four. And the longer, and the bigger
the period of hours is, the more people like the station effectively, because it means they stay tuned
for longer. Now, however, if the hours have gone down by 21%, that's a fifth, have gone down
by a fifth, that means that fewer and fewer people are actually watching. And when they are
watching and listening, they're doing it for less time. Okay. Now, you can measure a tick in a box
for a ragd hour point by simply listening for five minutes. So if that figure has gone down,
then people are not even listening for five minutes, which is quite a serious problem.
It's interesting how it works, isn't it? Mike's been quite quite a lot.
modest for him though. Now obviously Kelvin McKenzie has a answer as he always does. He's a
former editor of the Sun, he's worked in broadcasting, he's run Sky TV, he knows an awful lot about
the business. He said there's only one reason why talks figures have fallen off a cliff as they have
and that is because Mike Graham has gone off to set up his own independent new show, the Mike Graham
show which goes out every single day at breakfast between seven and ten. I don't know if he's right.
And listen, I don't wish any harm on the talk TV audience or on the talk TV personnel, you know, because I work there very happily for a very long time, and there's some very good friends of mine who still do work there.
But you'd have to say, it doesn't look great for the listeners if the listeners are dropping off.
But it's great for me if the listeners are coming to me.
And the reason they like coming to the independent space is because I'm free to say what I want.
I'm unencumbered by any kind of senior management figures who might have different agendas about politics, about how they,
expect me to behave and exactly what kind of opinions they don't want me to have. People are
getting fed up with all of that sort of stuff. So they much prefer to come to a place like this
where you're watching Dan Wooten or on my show from 7 to 10 every single weekday morning because
they know they're going to get the truth, they're going to get the whole truth and they're going to
get nothing but the truth. And they're not going to have to worry about whether I'm taking money
from one particular advertiser or another particular advertiser, all our advertising is run through
YouTube and so we really have no control over who advertises with us and they never ask us to do
anything for those adverts. And I do think the wider point, obviously I'm going to say this right,
but the rise of the independent media is inevitable. It's not the future, it's the now.
So it's a pretty auspicious day for the independent media sphere, I would say.
BBC losing an awful lot of listeners. Some commercial stations doing better than others.
but effectively the independent space is where the growth is.
Because all of the other growth, even if it is some radio stations going up.
Nick Ferrari's gone up a little bit, which is always good.
He's a good friend of ours and we like him a lot.
The problem is though, all the growth in the commercial radio sector is fairly small
because it's pretty much hit the height, it's hit the limit.
And more and more people who don't want to listen to radio stations
whenever the radio stations want you to listen
are now moving over to places like YouTube,
like YouTube where you can find the Mike Graham show.
So I just want to spend a little bit of time thanking all of you
for becoming members of the YouTube channel that I've got,
of subscribing to my substack.
We've just gone through 35 million views.
Just for contact, by the way,
we're getting something like 1.4 million views to our channel every single week,
which is a bigger, of course, than any of those regale figures
that I told you about the GB News for the Times Radio Group
and indeed for talk.
So we're doing something right.
And I think we should all congratulate ourselves, and you should congratulate yourself,
for having the perspicacity to watch intelligent media.
So let me bring him, Ben Haviv.
He is the chair of the Great British Pack.
And Ben, I'm fascinated to know your view on this,
because you've had quite an interesting little ride with these channels over the past few months,
over this period, actually, of course, because my summation would be
that you were treated as the enemy on talk when Advance UK was a political party
and you were the leader of that political party.
Ben, you have now moved away, I guess, from sort of frontline politics
in the sense that the Great British Pack is a brilliant thing,
but it's not necessarily trying to destroy reform UK in the same way.
It's not party political.
Yeah, and they seem more open to you.
You know, when you go on,
now that they're not attacking you in the same way. So what do you think this slump for Talk
TV is down to? Is it Mike Graham? Is it the fact that they've become like reform UK propaganda
or maybe a combination of both things? Yeah. So I mean, I think it's a shame that any sort of so-called
right-wing channel should dip because, you know, we need as many voices out there as possible
making the case for the kinds of things we all believe in and want for this country. And
So I take absolutely zero pleasure in talks, listeners going down.
But if they have gone down and the number of hours for which they listen has also reduced,
then I think that probably does have something to do with Mike Graham leaving.
And, you know, you've got to be brave when you're a radio station,
when you're a platform for free speech to allow people to say some things,
which may not, you might find repugnant,
but need to be said in order for the reveal, for the revelation
so that we can have the debate,
and then people can listen and decide whether or not they agree.
And I think Mike was sacked unnecessarily
over something which he denies,
which they insisted on investigating to the nth degree
and then filing against him.
And he was very, very popular.
And it was a great shame, I think, for talk that Mike was sacked.
But like Mike, I know many people at talk, and I like them a lot.
But the other channel, I think that's actually more at fault.
I know you agree with me.
on this is G.B. News. G.B. News has, you know, G.B. News won't have Rupert Lowe on. It doesn't matter
what you think of Rupert Lowe. His parties polling at 8%. He will deny Farage the general election
unless something happens. He will deny Farage as a general election. Anyone who thinks otherwise
isn't thinking straight. So he should be on GB News. And not because he needs to be promoted,
but so that people can listen to what Rupert Lowe has to say,
and so that people can make up their minds whether Alistair Heath is right
or whether young Bob is right.
They've got to have that debate.
Anne Whittaker used to be so brilliant on this.
She said the best way to debunk people you don't like
whose opinions you wish to shut up
is actually to allow them to express their opinions liberally,
because you can then make up your own mind about it.
And if you find yourself being converted by them,
convinced by them, well, great. That's the rich benefit of debate, isn't it? And G.B. News is
really fallen, I think. It's really fallen. It hasn't had me on since the day I launched
advance. It doesn't have Rupert Lowe on. It's completely gone pro-farage. And with all these
scandals, now, you know, multiple scandals about finances over in reform, which are fundamental.
You know, you don't just have one institution investigating reform. You've got the parliamentary
Standards Commissioner, you've got the Electoral Commission, you've got the National Crime Agency,
you've got the Metropolitan Police, you've got the Financial Conduct Authority, HMRC might also be
looking at all of this. That is not the establishment versus reform, but GB News hasn't covered it.
It doesn't cover this stuff. And understanding of party's finances is crucial to understanding
what's driving that party to making the decisions that it makes. And so GB News, I think,
is it real fault here. It's a shame that
talk TV's numbers have dropped.
And I wish you, and I wish Mike,
and I wish all the independent broadcasters
who are of our disposition, who want
to make the case for a proud, sovereign,
prosperous United Kingdom. I wish you
all the very best of luck and the biggest
numbers possible. Thank you so much.
I mean, it is sad for me to see five years on
what GBM News has become,
if I'm honest. I mean, they did keep some of
my brilliant guests if
they were Reform UK aligned. So like
Anne Whitakam, the late Great
Anne Willickham. She was someone who I brought into the channel very, very early on, and they kept
her because she was Reform UK aligned. But I think of other people like, you know, Rod Little,
like Rupert, like yourself, and all of those people, one by one, if they sort of move away from
Reform UK, that they end up being dropped. But look, I'm just looking at the live chat on this.
Nyla Rocks, his just need to listen to most of the interviewers on talk. They're so full of themselves.
they do not let their guests speak without interrupting and shouting.
GCP 1248 and I share this worry, says thank goodness for YouTube.
I just worry offcom will try to control it.
And Val Twined Dina saying, my lefty woke brother told me I no longer exist when I told him I love Lawrence Fox.
And I mean, this is what we're dealing with.
And that's why we do need to really keep a strong community.
Thank you so much for all of your super chats today.
Chris H 281 says Jason Rade created a rock so heavy.
Even he couldn't list it.
Baroness note to oneself says there are only two things that cause me alarm and distress,
and that is the left and radical Islam.
Ms. Coral Jade says Ben Habib is eating and leaving no crumbs.
Thank you, Mr. Habib, with a prayer sign.
And Chris H281 says,
I am a Scot that ended up living in Cyprus from 20 years ago.
The key thing of why it works here is because everyone in positions of power are Cypriot.
I live here as a guest and I understand it.
And I think that's a fair point.
Actually, I've just returned from Cyprus, actually.
I was there for a wedding last week and it's true.
I think that is one of the reasons it's a great country.
Okay, reminder of our Union Jackass nominees.
I nominated Zia Yusuf and Megan Markle, Ben Habib,
nominated Jason Ardei and the results were in in third position with 23% of the vote
Megan Markle the runner up with 31% of the vote Zia Yusuf but it had to be you today Ben I'm very
very happy with this Jason Radee of course he's the worst Britain in the world with 45% of the vote
now Ben you are also nominating today's greatest Britain oh sorry Ben we've just lost your audio
so hopefully you hear me oh we can hear you now yes start again sorry Ben we've got you now
So this guy, this guy is phenomenal.
In 2019, I think he did something that has never been done in the history of mankind.
He climbed the 14 peaks in the world that are all over 8,000 meters.
He's a British citizen, born in Nepal, former Gurkha, went from the Gurkhas,
I think the only member of the Gurkirch Regiment to go into the special boat service,
seriously hard-nosed, capable, aspirational, driven, ambitious embodiment.
of that British go-getting spirit,
even though he was Nepalese.
But Agurka is one of us, in a sense.
And as I say, he made it to the SBS.
But sadly he died on the 1st of August,
climbing a mountain in Pakistan.
And his body was discovered shortly after that.
But I think there's a Netflix series
where you can watch his phenomenal achievement
in 2019 doing those 14 peaks
and the way he did it.
And he fills me with inspiration
for that go-getting, daring do
that used to be so fundamentally part of our DNA.
And so I recommend him highly as your Britain for today,
the Great Britain for today.
Brilliant stuff.
And of course that links very nicely
to the Great British Pack,
which Ben Habib is the chairman of,
I'm a member.
What I love about the Great British Pack
is that it's not party political at all.
And I think that's super important.
And so I highly recommend everyone checks it out.
definitely get involved. Ben Havib, always love having you. Thank you so much. And by the way,
we are going to be putting up the worst Britain in the world vote for this week. And of course,
today was Jason Radee, but he's going head to head with Prince Harry from Monday, Shibana MacMood
from Tuesday, Wednesday from Zach Palance. You will be able to find that in the post section in
just a few minutes. I'm going to do it straight after the show. But please do also vote in our
mega poll. We're asking if
