Starting point is 00:00:00 I saw my friend on the other side of the street. I was heading to school with the kids. I let go of mom's hand to wave. I had already forgotten their lunches. I ran over to hug her. She came out of nowhere. And then... It stopped.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Sometimes the moments that never happen matter most. Volvo's automatic emergency braking helps ensure a safe ending for everyone. Learn more at volvocars.caps.caps.com. At IKEA, we make things just for college life. Come on, come on! Like our Calax desk in white, black, or stained oak for just $75. Yeah, let's go! It's got built-in cable management to help keep your game console cords organized.
Starting point is 00:00:47 And a spacious work surface for your laptops, monitors, and textbooks. Woo! If only you were this excited about studying. Oh, man! Shop back to school at IKEA. at IKEA. No spend, no bias, no censorship. I'm Dan Wooden. This is outspoken at episode number 557. Breaking right now. A monumental police F-up could have resulted in the assassination of my friend Anne Whitakim because Nigel Farage may well have been the original target. Yet the deep state
Starting point is 00:01:23 is still conspiring with the police, the judiciary and the mainstream media to cover up this seismic story broken exclusively on outspoken. Because the news gets suppressed in organisations like the BBC, whether it was the grooming gangs, whether it's what's happened over Anne Whittaker's killing. Well, nearly a month on from Anne Whittaker's suspected murder, counter-terror officers involved in the case, tonight revealed they have reopened a separate investigation.
Starting point is 00:01:54 To be involved in an attempt of burglary investigation, And it is being reported that that was at the London property of Anne Whittaker. No, no, it wasn't. It wasn't a burglary in Anne's London's house. She didn't even have a London home by the time of her death when she was hit 21 times over the head with a hammer. No, this was the greater London home of Nigel Farage, something he has confirmed today. I did publicly say something I hadn't said for a year,
Starting point is 00:02:25 which was about an incident that had occurred at my home address. And it was around. The issue was basically arson. And the attempted forcing of a door. And yes, this is directly linked to the murder of Anne Widdickham. So I just need to be very clear about what we're talking about because the mainstream media haven't been since I broke the story on Friday night. the police are investigating whether Joshua Kerry, the man charged with Anne Whittickham's murder,
Starting point is 00:03:06 had tried to firebom Nigel Farage's home. Are you understanding the significance of this now? If the police had done their job, would Anne still be alive? Also breaking today, Reform UK and Restore Britain at war over a stark, Alex for and talk TV attack against Rupert Lowe, and Nigel Farage's new demands that Charlie Downs being kicked out of the party before any deal to unite the right.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Mad Uncle Rupert, the most preposterous, pompous, pathetic, pointless politician in the world. Did you hear him on the Today programme the other day? It's like, shut up, Grandad, stop rambling. He's mad. He's mad as a hat of this one. I don't think he's connected to the real world as well. Doesn't think the King's British. That there are one or two people
Starting point is 00:03:54 in the orbit of the upper echelos of that party, who if I sat down and talked to, I think our members and our voters would be utterly shocked that I'd done it. And you have other adjacent publicly supportive people demanding that all Jews be removed from the country. Just as an example, so the condition I would put on it is, those people would have to be out of the inner circle. We'll get into both of these developing stories today with the brilliant Rafe Hadle Mancoo of the new Culture Forum,
Starting point is 00:04:35 Rafe is with us for the entire show. Also coming up today, James O'Brien admits what we've all known for years. He is a total mug. Yes, the LBC full, completely snookered by Cambridge Uni's fantasist professor, Jason Arday. Of course he was. So this is one for us to enjoy.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Then in the Royal Uncanceled After Show on Substack, Sarah Vine, reveal shocking new bullying allegations against Megan Markle. We'll team up with the Royal News Network over there for all of that. We'll also reveal the first Union Jackass and Greatest Britain of the week. Rafe and I have nominated for the worst Britain in the world today. I've gone for Carl Dinnon of Woke ITV news for his incorrect reporting on Anne Whitakim, which I'm about to show you. Rafe has gone for James O'Brien for making a mug of.
Starting point is 00:05:24 himself over Ardey, and also Sir Mark Rowley for his dismissive attitude for the Met Police trying to silence a journalist investigating Arde. That was certainly particularly revolting. Do keep your superchats coming in today too. I will read out the best at the end of the show today, but now let's go. I need to show you how the mainstream media works and why they are part of a shilling deep state cover-up about what really happened to Anne Whittickham and how Nigel Farage was the real target of a serious assassination attempt. In the 33 days since what I believe was a politically motivated assassination of my friend and former colleague, who we must never forget was hit over the head 21 times with a hammer while eating her lunch following an interview with the Christian radio station,
Starting point is 00:06:23 I have been clear that I believe we are not being told the full story. Indeed, I've gone even further than that by being honest with you that there has been a whole-scale cover-up going on, with the corrupted deep state police and mainstream media conspiring, in part using contempt of court laws to try and silence true reporting about what's really gone on. Even the former Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has admitted that this is happening. But the independent media is such an important part of that movement,
Starting point is 00:07:01 because otherwise, how are people going to know what is actually happening in our country? Because the news gets suppressed in organisations like the BBC, whether it was the grooming gangs, whether it's what's happened over Anne Whedickham's killing. We are not seeing the full truth about a... about issues coming out in the mainstream media. No, absolutely. A major development on Friday night, just after I thought I had signed off for the week,
Starting point is 00:07:29 the police dropped their own bombshell that allowed me to reveal more of what I know. Now, I am very wise to the tactics of trying to bury a story. Do you know the best time to release something you don't want the public to know about and that you don't want journalists to follow up on? You drop it. After 9pm on a Friday night,
Starting point is 00:07:50 just as everyone goes, out to the pub, and that is exactly what counterterrorism policing did with this statement from senior national coordinator, Vicky Evans. She said, as part of the ongoing investigation led by counterterrorism policing southeast into the murder of Van Whitakim, officers have reopened an investigation into an incident reported to police last year. In April 2025, the Metropolitan Police received a report of an attempted burglary at an address in the Greater London area. Inquiries were carried out by the Metropolitan Police, supported by Counterterrorism Policing London. No arrests were made, and the investigation was subsequently closed pending any new lines of inquiry.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Following the reopening of the attempted burglary investigation, Counterterrorism policing London, identified a line of inquiry which was not identified and pursued by them at the time, which may have been relevant. As a result, to ensure their support to the initial investigation is thoroughly reviewed, counterterrorism policing London made a mandatory conduct referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct IOPC today. That's Friday the 7th of August. We will fully engage and comprehensively engage with the IOPC on this matter. The victims and families in both investigations have been updated today and we continue to support them. Given the nature of this matter and the significant public interest in the investigation into Anne Wedickham's death,
Starting point is 00:09:18 it was of critical importance for us to provide this update. We would urge the public and the media to help us to secure justice for those affected and be mindful when sharing speculation or information not provided by police. Okay, now this is where I disagree. Because if we weren't talking and if we were not sharing this information right from day one, no one would have been arrested in this case. You went and arrested the wrong guy. You told Nigel Farage that it was a bird.
Starting point is 00:09:48 burglary gone wrong. So no, stop trying to stop our reporting. Remember at this stage, Joshua Kerry has been charged with the murder of Anne, but no terror offences. However, reporting on this case is very difficult. And what the mainstream media do is hide behind draconian contempt of court regulations. But within half an hour of me doing my own reporting on Friday night, I knew exactly what was going on and could reveal the truth to my substack subscribers. I reported at 9.25 p.m. Counterterrorism police investigating the murder of Anne Wittickham have reopened an investigation into the firebombing of Nigel Farage's home last year. It raises the terrifying possibility that Anne's alleged killer may have targeted the Reform UK leader.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Farage needs full government security as a priority matter. The MSM should. should be reporting this story. So let me just be very clear because I understand this is confusing. What I was reporting at that time is that Joshua Kerry, the man charged with Anne Whitakam's murder, is now being investigated for firebombing Nigel Farage's home. Can we just take one moment to think about the consequence of that. If that is indeed true and the police now investigating it, then Anne would not have been killed. At 9.25pm, I revealed that police believed there was this thing. This is on Friday night. It was a truly seismic development which I believe should be leading every single news bulletin. You'll remember Farage had told the Daily Telegraph in April
Starting point is 00:11:47 about how a petrol bomb had been put through his letterbox. I mean, this was common knowledge. He was mocked about it at the time. People didn't even believe him. Yet he had told Gordon Rainer it was an outright arson attempt. I wasn't at home at the time, but when I came back and opened the door, I found the damage. Luckily, it had burned itself out in the porch, and we think maybe the perpetrators were disturbed in the act. The police were all over it. They did their best, but there are no suspects so far. Well, they didn't do their best, Nigel. We now know that and you now know that. You were let down. And Whitakim was let down. The country was let down. But remembering I'd broken this news at 9.30pm on Friday night, 925, something extraordinary then happened.
Starting point is 00:12:29 The MSM willfully ignored my exclusive. That didn't fit their narrative. They claimed incorrectly that the police were actually investigating a burglary at Anne Whittickham's London home, even though she didn't have a property in the Capitol. This was a clear case of the MSM being unable to accept that they have got this story and this narrative very wrong. And it was across the spectrum. Even GB News incorrectly reported.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Counter-terror and police have reopened an attempted burglary investigation at Anne Whittickham's London home. Then at 10pm, their main news bulletin, the British Bashing Corporation went on air and ignored the true story altogether. Counterterrorism police investigating the death of the former Conservative MP Anne Whittickham have reopened an investigation into an attempted burglary in London last year. Our correspondent Laura Trant is with me. What have they said tonight, Laura?
Starting point is 00:13:28 Well, this relates to April last year when the Metropolitan Police received a report of an attempted burglary in the greater London area. In a statement from counter-terrorism policing, it's explained that inquiries were made by Metropolitan Police and Counter-Terrorism policing in London. No arrests were made, and the investigation was subsequently closed. It got even worse over on Woke ITV with Carl Dinnon, their political reporter who egregiously reported fake news. Well, nearly a month on from Anne Whedickon's suspected murder, counter-terror officers involved in the case. Tonight revealed they have a real... opened a separate investigation from more than a year ago. Back in April 2025, they were told of an attempted burglary at a London address, but nothing came of it. Now officers have referred
Starting point is 00:14:19 themselves to the watchdog over what happened. And we can speak to Carl now, who's outside Scotland Yard tonight. What more do we know about this investigation has just been announced this evening, Carl? That's right, Julie. As you say, in April of last year, the Metropolitan Police an attempted burglary at an address in London. They were supported by counter-terror police. It is being reported, obviously it's unusual for counter-terror police to be involved in an attempted burglary investigation,
Starting point is 00:14:51 and it is being reported that that was at the London property of Anne Whittaker. This is just disgusting. I mean, by that point, my report had been out for 35 minutes. So I posted, this is why you can't trust the MSM. Woke ITV News and Carl Dinnon reporting that the burglary was at Anne Whittickham's London home, she didn't have a London home by the time she was killed, anything but report the truth that it was Nigel Farage targeted. Disgraceful cover-up. Now, GB News, in fairness to them,
Starting point is 00:15:22 did follow up on my story and eventually corrected their report. I'm at breaking news now. GV News can confirm that the attempted burglary referred to counter-terrorism South East took place at a London property owned by reformer UK leader Nigel Farage. Investigators are looking into the death of former MP Anne Whittaker, and they've reopened an old burglary case. So after identifying a potential lead that was missed at the time, they are now looking at this. Okay, but even there, GB News, too nervous to actually report the full extent of the story, which is that it is Joshua Kerry, who is now being investigated for firebombing Nigel Farage's house. Just think about it. Think about what this means.
Starting point is 00:16:18 The only person who I saw in the MSM actually understanding the significance of our reporting here on outspoken was Alison Pearson of the Daily Telegraph, who posted on X very serious policing error over Farage firebombing. Let's hope police didn't fail to thoroughly investigate crime against reform leader only for Anne Whittickham to end up murdered because that would be the end. So CCTV footage will reveal if there is a link between the firebombing of Nigel Farage's house and the horrifying murder of Anne. No wonder the police have gone so quiet. Is it the case that counter-terror police ignored a firebombing of Nigel Farage's London home case closed and that such police negligence led in some horrifying way to the murder of Anne Whittickham.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Now Nigel Farage is horrified about this. The left-wing independent finally caught up over the weekend and said, according to a source, that there has been a very serious policing error, which is why CTP have referred themselves to IOPC, which is unprecedented. And the Sunday Telegraph reported Reforms Deputy Leader Richard Tynes, accusing the police of not taking threats to reform members seriously. He said only recently have the authorities woken up to the abuse and intimidation I and other reform MPs have had, despite plenty of real examples that we have provided.
Starting point is 00:17:43 I was perhaps very lucky with one particular incident I faced last year. For too long, the threats we have faced have not been taken seriously. The fact that the police have referred themselves to the IOPC speaks for itself. They recognise that they've messed up. Mr. Tice pressed his panic button at his home last Christmas after he was followed outside Parliament. by an aggressive man. He managed to flag down a police vehicle and officers arrested the individual. On Friday night, counter-terrorism police investigating Ms. Whitakim's death reopened an inquiry into the attack on Mr Farage's property. Mr Farage was away when the incident occurred and police believed at the time
Starting point is 00:18:14 that it had been a burglary gone wrong. The incident was investigated but no suspects were identified. The case was closed pending any new lines of inquiry. But again, I just want to think about it. It's not messing up, is it? It's not messing up if the police simply didn't do their due diligence and just fobbed off this Nigel Farage burglary, which he had publicly claimed was a firebombing, and the same person went on to hit Anne Whitacom over the head 21 times with a hammer. Of course that is just alleged,
Starting point is 00:18:48 but that is what has been investigated. And at a Reform UK press conference this morning, Farage did confirm my reporting publicly for the first time. I do note, however, that it was a number of. of questions in before the MSM had even raised this issue. Shortly before the horrific murder of Anne Whittaker, I did publicly say something I hadn't said for a year, which was about an incident that had occurred at my home address,
Starting point is 00:19:21 and it was around the issue was basically arson and the attempted forcing of a door. I hadn't mentioned it for a year because I generally don't mention in public the security concerns that I have, because there have been too many of them that have happened. I spoke about this in the context of me needing to be provided with security clearly to the end of my days, and the 78, been out of office for many, many years, and I discussed that around the issue of money, and my own future protection. Of course, most of the media organisations in this room called me a liar.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Remember that vividly. Half of you in the room called me a liar. They did. They just dismissed it. They have just dismissed these security concerns about Nigel Farage. And actually, even once Anne was murdered, they still tried to dismiss there was a link. So Farage was very clear today.
Starting point is 00:20:23 The link is direct. He wouldn't name Joshua Kerry. He's agreed with counter-terror police not to. but I think he made the point. But the truth is, there was an investigation into this. And clearly, counterterrorism made some mistakes, which is why they referred themselves to the Independent Office of Police Complaints. I understand this is a completely unprecedented move.
Starting point is 00:21:01 and yes this is directly linked to the murder of Anne Woodacom and I'm afraid I just can't tell you any more than that at this stage he then accused the security services of Britain of treating reform UK figures differently from everybody else until Anne was killed It's a great, great tragedy that it took the death of Anne for the security services in Britain to finally take seriously the safety and security of reform politicians and reform prominent figures. Up until that moment, we had been treated very differently to everybody else. For example, four days after the murder of Charlie Kirk,
Starting point is 00:22:04 I had nearly all of my security removed from me. We have been ignored. Our situation has been undervalued. But I'm not going to say anything now to prejudice because I do actually believe in my heart that counterterrorism are now seriously doing this job and I have confidence in them. I'd love to tell you more.
Starting point is 00:22:22 It will come out, but I just dare not breach that trust and confidence with counterterrorism at this stage. Farage also spoke about how his children's lives have been fundamentally changed given he has been hounded at the moment by certain outlets. Watch. Off the top of my head, I can name a few news outlets, LBC, the Mirror of the Guardian, the Standard, and others that ridiculed the idea that your house was firebombed last year.
Starting point is 00:22:59 To flip an earlier question on its head, have you, if you ever had any, lost faith in the British press, like much of the public has? And will you be writing to the editors of those outlets asking for corrections, retractions, apologies, or firings? Well, you know, I mean, look, the relationship between people in politics and the press is, you know, potentially a fractious one. I have always taken the view that you shouldn't moan too much because it's like a sailor complaining about bad weather, and you take the rough with the smooth, but there are limits. there are limits and my limits are my family and several family members of mine have been put through hell by irresponsible journalism from well-known national publications that should have known better and that's what really upsets me as for whatever claim i make being ridiculed well i guess i have to live with that but but you know and there is an ongoing event that i can't mention here for reasons that we understand but perhaps by recent political actions were spurred as much by the way that children of mine and those close to me have been hounded and their lives fundamentally changed. And I think that's a relationship that we have
Starting point is 00:24:12 to get right. Now finally, the mainstream media are catching up to the extent of my reporting on Friday night. No idea why it's taking them this long. But the Times newspaper and its political editor Stephen Swinford this afternoon confirming that police are investigating if the Whittaker murder suspect was linked to the Farage arson attack. And he writes that the Times has been told that police are examining whether there is a connection between Kerry and the incident and that Farage has been informed. And I have to say it is in this context that for me it has been horrific over the weekend to see so-called right-wing mainstream outlet. And I have to say so-called right-wing mainstream outlets use the tactics of the left to, I believe, also put Rupert Lowe and restore Britain
Starting point is 00:25:00 in danger. Hear me out on this. Look at this. I mean, this is my old employer. Lots of my friends still connected. But this is absolutely disgusting from Talk TV. The politics of Hitler, question mark, alongside pictures of Rupert Lowe and Nigel Farage. Now, in this case, they're not actually speaking.
Starting point is 00:25:24 about Farage, but you could argue that even placing him on a thumbnail like this is also putting Farage under threat. Rupert Lowe rightly raged. The media hate campaign against both myself and Restore Britain is reaching dangerous new levels. This is disgraceful from Talk TV, along with an entirely false and libelist headline. I will not tolerate it. Conor Thominson, the independent journalist added, calling someone Hitler is a signal to the most deranged violent leftists that they can kill someone and be celebrated for it. It's why Trump survived multiple assassination attempts. It's why Charlie Kirk was killed. It's why Nigel Farage gets so many threats. It's allegedly why Anne Whittaker was murdered. It's designed to intimidate you. They know what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:26:14 And Respaud's spokesperson for the safety of women and children or the Minnehane added, wasn't Anne's murder enough? How dare you? This hate campaign affects all of us who are aligned to restore Britain. Many of us have children and you put us and them in danger with this abhorrent rhetoric. Talk TV and G.B. News. Stop it. Now the Rupert Murdoch Pro Reform UK station eventually did take the video down with Rupert Lowe announcing pleased that Talk TV has been forced to remove the video, lightening me to Hitler, along with other entirely false statements about me. Restore Britain is not going to be bullied around by the establishment media. But it's not good enough.
Starting point is 00:26:54 The right needs to rise above the tactics of the left and the MSM, which are designed to put us all in danger. And look at what happened to Anne. This is no longer rhetoric. This is reality. Now, Rave Hidal-Manku. So, Rife, it has been an astonishing few days for me to see.
Starting point is 00:27:24 And by the way, this is nothing about, oh, ha, ha, I broke this, you didn't. It's about the mainstream media trying to avoid a story. I mean, I revealed this at 9.25pm on Friday night. Immediately after the police statement, Rafe, it was very obvious to me what had gone on here.
Starting point is 00:27:47 And I revealed it, confirmed through brilliant sources, and you've got the mainstream media not even considering reporting on it, trying to suggest that this burglary took place at a property that Anne Whitakam didn't even own. It feels like, Rafe, they do not want to accept the possibility that Nigel Farage was quite likely the real target of this assassination. And if that assassination attempt had been properly investigated, if the firebombing had been properly looked at by the police, are we in a situation today, Rafe, where Anne Whittickham would still be alive? And it's a horrifying possibility. But no one's really talking about it in these terms, Rafe. Have you noticed that? It's all sort of hiding behind process, very complicated
Starting point is 00:28:37 statements that people don't understand. It's like, no, we've got to get real about what this really means. Yes, you've put it perfectly. I mean, that is the logical conclusion. If it is found out to be the same person, Kerry, involved in both cases. And of course, the finger will then also turn back onto the media, which is why they seem to be so reticent to address this issue. Because as you heard in that interview, it was the LBC, the independent and other media outlets that threw scorn at Nigel Farage when he claimed to have been Firebond, who didn't want to consider it, thought it was more rhetoric from Nigel. But it also plays in, we've seen this from day right? As soon as we heard about the death of poor Anne, a great friend of the new culture
Starting point is 00:29:23 form, she hosted a show on our channel every week. Devin and Cornwall police immediately ruled out the possibility that it was politically motivated and the media chose to run with that, poo-pooing any question that it was different. And then, of course, you had this alleged far-right terrorist threat that arose at the same time in Suffolk at a Muslim gathering where 12 people were arrested, all of them released with that. charge. So the contrast between those two things happening so close together, I would say speak volumes. And what does this say about the states of our counterterrorism situation in this country if it does turn out that due to the negligence perhaps or dare I guess perhaps
Starting point is 00:30:07 another ulterior motive, lines of inquiry weren't pursued in relation to Nigel Farage's firebombing. And if they had been pursued correctly, yes, well, could Anne Steele still be with us today. I mean, this is devastating stuff. It absolutely is. As Alison Pearson said, this could be the end. I mean, I presume she's talking about the end of the trust that we would have in our police forces. Because the thing that you've got to think about here, Rafe, and you raised this, but I just want to go into it a little bit deeper, is that the mainstream media were trying to suggest that Nigel Farage had invented. They may not have actually gone quite that far,
Starting point is 00:30:54 but come on, the tone was that he had invented this firebombing at his house and that he was conveniently unleashing it to try and take away the criticism of his donation from Christopher Harbourn. And what I find so disgusting about that, Rave, is that you can have issues with Nigel Farage's acceptance of the donation from Christopher Arborn. I mean, I've certainly reported on that. I'm sometimes described as a critical friend of Reform UK. I'm certainly not someone who people would say gives an easy ride to Nigel Farage and Reform UK.
Starting point is 00:31:35 But, Rave, the two stories are completely separate. Nigel Farage's physical safety and the assassination threats against him are absolutely nothing to do with the political donation. And the fact that the mainstream media was so determined to link them and almost suggests that Nigel Farage was some type of Walter Missy character inventing threats against him so he can go and use the money for something else. I think should shame them, actually. It really should be the end of the mainstream media in this country. Well, it's utterly irresponsible and they should be held to account if this connection is in fact made. Well, there should be held to account now because now we have official confirmation from the police that, yes, there was a firebombing. There was an incendiary device pushed through Nigel's letterbox and to everyone's good luck, it fizzled out.
Starting point is 00:32:31 It didn't turn into the device it was intended to be. And we now have confirmation of that clearly. But this is the key point here. The same thing happened, of course, when Nigel Farage's security detail was reduced in numbers dramatically four days after Charlie Kirk's killing. The media immediately back to this decision.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Well, he doesn't need it. He's, you know, he's once again trying to pretend that he's that greater risk than he is. Time and again, the media have been unwilling to face the threat faced by people like reform when we know how feebrile politics is. The real threat in America isn't from far-right terrorism, is from far-left terrorism.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Look at all of the attempted assassination attempts on Donald Trump. Look at the successful attempt on Charlie Kirk. Contrast the reaction here with Joe Cox compared to what we're talking about with reform. And it is the media who have portrayed reform, restore, and the right are somehow demagogic. So you have people on the left who genuinely believe that Nigel Farage and Rupert Lowe are fascist.
Starting point is 00:33:40 That's what they genuinely believe. I mean, the reality is they're just old-fashioned 1980s conservatives, I would tell you. But they are so determined these people have become pantomime villains that that's why they see a Nigel Farage. I know, but Rafe, it's outside doing this now too. I mean, this thumbnail. Unfortunately, that was talk TV. And this is why I keep saying on outspoken, Rafe,
Starting point is 00:34:03 we've got to be better than the left. And I also, Rafe, I say it to reform UK too. Stop making spurious police complaints against, for example, Rupert Lowe for hurty words in an argument. And actually this won't be popular amongst a lot of people, but also against Zach Polanski, the tip whisperer for posting something highly inappropriate. Like criticize him, absolutely. But save the police complaints, Rafe, for the people. who actually want to kill you, who actually want to assassinate you. Let's wake up, okay, about the threat that we are under. And stop calling the bloody police because Narinda Kor or Zach Polanski have said something
Starting point is 00:34:47 stupid on X. That's what they're going to keep doing, okay? We've got to stop wasting the time of the police over hurty words. Because trust me, there are dangerous, dangerous people out there who need to be targeted. And we've all got to do better. We all have to do better on this. Do not call the police unless your life is at threat. Yeah, I couldn't have put it any better than you.
Starting point is 00:35:12 You know, we are supposed to be defenders of free speech on the right. And so to call the police when you're offended by hurty words that don't meet any of the real thresholds that we're talking about, absolute nonsense, and you end up losing the respect and the faith and the trust of people that, you know, you want to ensure are on your side when they see you essentially adopting the tactics of the left. Absolutely. Yeah, I really do.
Starting point is 00:35:41 I just feel so strongly about this now because you know the left are going to keep on wasting the police's time on the most ludicrous of issues. And we have to be better. We have to be better. We've got to be more targeted. We have to ignore people who are just doing stupid things. Call them out.
Starting point is 00:36:01 Absolutely. Call them out. I mean, I don't think Zach Polanski should be. be the leader of a political party. Of course I don't. The guy is a freak. You know, the guy is a freak. Do I think he genuinely wants to kill Nigel Farage? No. And there are people out there who genuinely do. Let the police focus their time on those people. The war on the British right has erupted over the weekend. Indeed, Reform UK, Restore Britain, I think we can say are now back engaging in full-scale warfare just seven days after that major offer from Rupert Lowe to open peace talks with his
Starting point is 00:36:41 former enemy. Much of this involves particular personalities from John Cleese to Charlie Downs to Connor Tomlinson to Alex Phillips, the Reform UK Farragist aligned presenter on talk TV who made this quite over the top, I would argue, attack on Rupert Lowe during talks plank of the week. Watch this. Mad Uncle Rupert, the most preposterous, pompous, pathetic, pointless politician in the world. Oh, God, thanks.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Did you hear him on the Today program the other day? It's like, shut up, granddad, stop rambling. He's mad. He's mad as a hat of this one. I don't think he's connected to the real world as well. Doesn't think the King's British. He doesn't think anything. He doesn't think anything. got a load of youngsters who are basically the same as influencers,
Starting point is 00:37:34 who don't even have driving licenses, most of these men. You know, playing games on social media, looking for the Elon retweet. Woo, look, look at the amount of impressions I've got. I'm like, what are you? Why don't you just sell a protein shake on Instagram? Get out of politics. Meanwhile, Blimmin Rupert thinks that this all magically happen
Starting point is 00:37:51 because he's so brilliant and he's such a brilliant strategist and I'm going to tell Nigel Fowash what he should do. Well, listen, what I can tell you is Tory handlers don't like him anymore. they want rid. There's a big bust up in a certain office and east on that, Effin and Jeff in next minute he's making this video which he claims to be, oh really nice.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Extending the Olive March. It's like a hostage blackmail video. Now this is really complicated to me because it's like okay Alex so Rupert's the granddad he's not that much difference in age to Nigel but you hate the young, the
Starting point is 00:38:25 brilliant young men and restore Britain you hate them. This to me feels like you're not prepared to have the debate. You're just melting down. And there has been a lot of that. Look. Load of people running around feeling full of self-important. Ha ha ha ha. Oh, got a cunning plan. Oh, look at all the WhatsApp messages. Oh, which faction are you in? Oh, I'm in this faction, but I'm more than that fact. All of this nonsense. Running around thinking they're... And Lauren, the insider actually thinks the reaction of folk like Alex is because they are
Starting point is 00:38:56 deeply worried about the growing political force behind Rupert Low and Restore Britain. I don't care about Rupert though. But then you see the same people having an absolute meltdown about the person they say is so insignificant and irrelevant. Pompous, pathetic, pointless politician in the world. On and on and on every single time, because there's a load of people running around, feeling full of self and poor.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Ha, ha, ha, ha, got a cunning plan. Ooh, look at all the WhatsApp messages. Oh, which faction are you in? Oh, I'm in this faction, but I'm more than that faction. But, you know, if Restore want to play their spiteful little games and poor little Rupert might feel like he's justified in attacking Nigel Farage. You see the same people having an absolute meltdown about the person, they say, is so insignificant and irrelevant. Which one is it, Poppitts?
Starting point is 00:39:46 And of course things got particularly personal too. And this is because Alistair Heath, the editor of the Sunday Telegraph, has launched quite an astonishing campaign, in my view, against Restore Britain. and Alex Phillips is using that to make, I think, below the belt attacks. She posted, they are very warped. This is in terms of the Restore Britain young men. They are very warped, very bitter, obsessive men, pumped full of feigned self-assurance to cover brittle egos and prickly insecurities. Most of these trad men working as Rupert's mouthpieces don't have driver's licenses,
Starting point is 00:40:26 let alone real-world jobs. They possess unhealthily sexist attitudes and seem to be obsessed with a rambling old egomaniac who can't finish a thought and bangs on about Farage being mean to him. Truth, facts and scrutiny mean nothing to these self-professed intellectuals. It's cultish, which is what makes it disturbing. They cannot see how similar they are to woke leftists, like the radical left, the cognitive dissonance must be off the charts,
Starting point is 00:40:56 but is suppressed under a warped self-indulgent identity of deluded crusaderism. Shudder. And this has been rumbling on behind the scenes for some time. The rouse between Alex Phillips and the young men within Restore Britain. And Connor Tomlinson, the host of Tomlinson talks on YouTube and subsection, who is a regular hair on outspoken, is actually not aligned with either party. And I would say of late, he's actually been, closer to the Reform UK messaging than the Restore Britain messaging. But he had had enough.
Starting point is 00:41:33 And it was one of those posts that I sort of read agog with my mouth open because he went there with Alex Phillips and it is completely divided the right. I don't know if you've heard it, but I will read it out to you and her response because of course I want to be completely fair in all of this. Connor posted, all right, Alex. I don't like doing this. But I reached out privately already and you dismissed me. The men working for Rupert are mostly married or with lovely girlfriends, some of children. That's some of the most upstanding, loyal, honest men I know. They're kind to my wife. And I look forward to my children playing with theirs. You, however, do not have children, not because of tragedy and misfortune, but because the relationships you chose
Starting point is 00:42:11 didn't work out. They attended my wedding. You got so drunk on the morning that you couldn't make it and didn't let me know until the middle of the reception. For all your accusations that they are warped, bitter and obsessive, it is you who have been ringing around the houses, trying to conjure hit pieces about them, using slurs which have put our mutual friends in the crosshairs of violence. It is you who have turned your show as a talented broadcaster into Radio Rwanda for Rupert Lowe and Charlie Downs, burning your credibility on conspiracies invented by Nadine Dorees and hissing invective alongside Labour activists. It's not persuasive, Alex, you're harming reforms cause, but also you're not happy.
Starting point is 00:42:52 And I say this is someone who's been to your home, traveled with you, and hug you every time I see you. This isn't healthy. It's consuming you. I do mean it, in the best faith possible, just stop. Well, Alex wasn't going to stop, and she made that clear. She responded, not true. I didn't come to your wedding because I had work obligations I couldn't get out of.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Lack of organization, maybe that's all. I have not at any point made this personal about you. Never even mentioned you, never quoted you, never uttered you, so if you want to associate yourself with my description, that's on you. I describe the sort of nastiness I've been getting from restorations at large, horrible abuse of trolling. It's why I've come to the conclusion the party is supported by troubled young men. A conclusion many people are also reaching.
Starting point is 00:43:41 It's this sort of thing, this directly personal and cruel message that has made me and a lot of people who once liked you decided you've changed, and we are sad to watch it in real time. Now, in a sort of parallel weird universe that's going on in all of this, John Cleese, like pretty much maybe outside of Ricky Javis, the greatest British television comic of all time, who has gone on this wild journey from like hard left supporter of Ed Davy and Dr. Scholar to major restore backer weighed in to this fight,
Starting point is 00:44:19 posting so she responds to abusive trolling by using abusive trolling. One would hope that someone in her position could do better. And Charlie Downs also got involved, posting Alex Phillips as a deeply tragic figure, and her projection here is desperate and sad. There were supporters of Alex, though, Nile Gardner of the Heritage Foundation, a very good man,
Starting point is 00:44:38 posted a vicious, cruel, and exceedingly nasty tweet, to Conner completely lacking in kindness, basic class and decent manners, fundamentally un-British. Of course, this is all part of a wider game plan, which is, in my view, about Reform UK and its mainstream media figures, and yes, I do put Alex Phillips in that camp. I put Nadine Dorries in that camp, but now I put Alistair Heath of the Sunday Telegraph in that camp, I put virtually all of the presenters on GB News in that camp, have decided that the way that they can help Nigel Farage's cause is by trying to destroy, restore Britain. They are so threatened they weren't open to the peace talks. They've decided that the path is destruction. And overnight,
Starting point is 00:45:26 we saw a major development on that with Reform UK saying that no peace talks will be able to take place if Charlie Downs, the man who has been in this direct clash with Alex Phillips, remains part of the party. A spokesman for reform said there was no question of any agreement with Mr Lowe's party while Mr. Downs was in place. They said there are anti-Semitic and extreme racists at or near the top of the party and they would have to go first. We're happy to talk, but we can't do when there are people in the party like Charlie Downs. This all started with the Groypers in the US and it's happening here, putting out this anti-Jewish stuff that is very similar to the left. Le Anderson Reform UK's chairman also weighed in saying that Mr Lowe needed to end. Mr Farage as the next Prime Minister, if there is to be a deal.
Starting point is 00:46:18 Now, the last time Charlie Downs was on outspoken, he spoke about the accusations of anti-Semitism against his party watch. Example Reform UK on this, which does formally, for example, have an Israeli lobby as part of its party, and is very proud of that, it's fair to say. And what does that say, Dan? I mean, this party reformed UK that is supposed to be the party for the British people, has built into it a foreign lobby. Now, foreign lobbying is not something that's spoken about a great deal in British politics,
Starting point is 00:46:51 but our politics is awash with foreign money, whether it's from Israel, whether it's from Russia, whether it's from China, or anywhere else, or America, for that matter. This, in my view, and in the view of Restore Britain, this is a huge problem. And the fact that that is worn with pride, I think, says a lot about that party. Now, as to these allegations of anti-Semitism, in our view, this is just another one of these words that the establishment, establishment deploys against the people that it doesn't like, like racist, like homophobic,
Starting point is 00:47:20 like sexist, Islamophobic. It's probably the most severe of all of those labels. But nevertheless, it is just a dishonest smear that is used to try to shut down honest conversations about the state of our country. But at a press conference this morning, Nigel Farage doubled down. Watch. I'm always happy to meet people and talk to people within reason. within reason. But I do think it's fair to say that there are one or two people in the orbit of the upper echelos
Starting point is 00:47:57 of that party, who if I sat down and talked to, I think our members and our voters would be utterly shocked that I'd done it. And see, for me, this is a concern because I think it's what Nigel is ultimately worried about, and why he distances himself from people like Tommy Robinson because he wants to look appealing to the MSM and the establishment
Starting point is 00:48:21 the crowd he probably desires to be in. It's also probably why he abandoned a comfortable, quiet life to finally be accepted by the people who have tried to destroy him and still do, by the way, as we've seen. But Nigel did confirm that he would speak to Rupert, but confirmed that figures such as Charlie Downs would have to be removed from the inner circle of Restore Britain in order to proceed, watch.
Starting point is 00:48:42 So we can talk to Rupert Lowe, it's fine. You know, but when you have co-founders, etc., putting out what I would call the old theory, the old theory that we probably haven't heard in this country since 1936, and you have other adjacent publicly supportive people demanding that all Jews be removed. from the country, just as an example. So the condition I would put on it is those people would have to be out of the inner circle. And I think that's, you know, that's, that for me would be the only way we could sensibly proceed. And I suspect many of those who say restore in answer to it to a poll are perhaps not quite aware.
Starting point is 00:49:36 They see Rupert, they see this farmer from Gloucestershire. I think they know you make sense. But those he's got around him, I think they'd be pretty. horrified too. Okay, well, I think Nigel has been a little bit disingenuous here. Let me tell you why Basil the Great uncovered a video. And he posted Nigel Fras said exactly the same thing Charlie Downs has said. Like I said, his excuse for refusing Rupert's offer is bullshit. He's lying to you and everybody else. Here's the video. Watch for yourself. America's interfered in elections all over the world for decades. There's a slight sort of degree of hypocrisy about all of this. Ahmed,
Starting point is 00:50:11 New caller from Leighton, I thank you. He makes the point that there are other very powerful foreign lobbies in the United States of America and the Jewish lobby, with its links with the Israeli government, is one of those strong voices. You're listening to the Niger Farad. Not all too dissimilar from what Charlie Downs is now saying. But Rupert is not going to kick.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Charlie Downs out of the party. He has made that clear. Posting on X, where else? Reform and Nigel Farage have finally made a response to our offer in the Daily Telegraph. I will go through their four conditions. The reform chairman Le Anderson has said reform will not step aside in any constituencies. Reform should always be on the ballot paper, meaning that reform plan to run in every seat, even if there is an arrangement.
Starting point is 00:50:59 This is not a constructive start. I have been realistic. Clearly the whole point of any arrangement would be not to divide the electoral force. That would mean certain restore Britain candidates standing aside to ensure a sensible and pragmatic approach to our voting system. If reform are not willing to reciprocate in any constituencies, any at all, the offer I have made is entirely redundant. They have also said we must endorse Farage to be Prime Minister and allow the failed Conservative Ministers to again be part of a future Cabinet. Contrary to reports, I have never said that reform must dump anybody. That is not my place to do so.
Starting point is 00:51:32 It is their party. It is entirely Reform's choice who they run to be MPs or employ. It is putting these same ministers who failed Britain into a future Cabinet which restored Britain has helped to empower that I take issue with. Restore Britain will not be responsible for handing Nadim Zahawi, Nadine Dorries, and others some of the most powerful jobs in the country. Fraudan Reform have also said that Restore Britain must outright sack Charlie Downs, putting a young Christian man out of work, just as he is looking to build his life and start a family.
Starting point is 00:51:58 That is simply not how I operate, but I want to be clear. If a sensible reciprocal arrangement can be found on our proposed policy platform, we would be willing to stand our Restore Britain candidates aside in certain seat. in order to defeat the left-wing alliance. For any political party, that is a big step to make. Country before party. Reform have just outright rejected doing the same.
Starting point is 00:52:19 If that position continues, then this whole exercise is futile. After all, of the bad blood, if we focus on personality and ego, we will get nowhere. That much is obvious from the last seven days. Our papers on economics, energy, deportations, policing and much more show exactly what can be delivered, properly considered policy that must be central to everything. The place to start this negotiation is on policy. Find common ground. Sort out the clear differences.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Build on that and go from there. Restore Britain remains open to good faith talks, while both parties understand the brutal electoral reality we are facing. Wow. Rafe Hidal Mancoo of the New Culture Forum, this couldn't really get any nastier and any messier, could it? No, it's deeply unpleasant to see the things that I've seen over the last few days, deeply cruel. I don't want to get involved in what we've seen online because I know all the personalities involved,
Starting point is 00:53:20 apart from John Cleese, but I know everyone else. I'm friendly with everybody else, and it's been a deeply unedifying episode. And the key thing is the left are loving this. You know, the left are just glorying in seeing us attack each other, when we should be keeping all of our venom directed at the left. You know, the reality is here. The left seem much better, much more prepared to work together than the right right now. You've seen Andy Burnham saying he'd be willing to work with the Green Party.
Starting point is 00:53:49 You see the Lib Dems supporting the Labour Party. Why can't we on the right come to some sort of agreement? Because the fact is, we don't have time for these shenanigans. Britain is facing an existential crisis. I'm not party political. My sole concern is saving Britain. This is a battle for Britain. And time is running out.
Starting point is 00:54:11 We have perhaps only two elections left to save this country. Right-wing voters are dying at a far faster rate than left-wing voters. We haven't got time for these sorts of tactics and playground tactics. We have to get serious here. If we don't unite the right, we will never have a right-wing government again in my lifetime. Professor Eric Kaufman says it looks like we're going into 20 years of Canada-style woke left-wing government if we can't unite the right-wing government. right. The reason we've had strong, allegedly conservative governments in the past is because there's
Starting point is 00:54:45 only been one party on the right. The left have been split because the real reality is, and people need to understand this, in every election, more votes are cast for left-wing parties than for right-wing parties. So if we don't unite the right, we're cooked as a country, as a civilization. So everyone needs to put aside the politics, put aside the egos, and work together for the sake of the nation. unedifying and so depressing to see us snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The problem I think, Rafe, is that the mainstream media are making it almost impossible now for, and by the way, I'm talking about the right wing, conservative establishment mainstream media, are making it almost impossible for Restore Britain or Restore Britain supporters,
Starting point is 00:55:33 many of whom watch this show, many of whom, I believe, or all of whom actually, I believe a total patriot, to be part of any conversation. I mean, Basil the Great pointing out in the last five days, the Telegraph have posted 12 articles criticizing Restore Britain and Rupert Lowe. Obsessively deranged doesn't come close. And I'll just give you one example, Rave. So there's one article about, again, Charlie Downs, who they've clearly decided to target.
Starting point is 00:56:06 And it's headlined, a co-founder of Restore Britain has said Muslims are less British than Christian. Christians? Well, Charlie responded to that, saying the telegraph is now attacking me for saying that Muslims are less British than Christians by virtue of their faith. As far as I'm concerned, that's just a statement of fact. Britain is a constitutionally Christian country, and the Christian faith is fundamental to the identity and culture of our people. You don't need to be a believer to acknowledge that. The impact that Islam has had on our country has been almost wholly negative. Their doctrine is simply not compatible with our cultural sentiment with which over half of Britain agrees, according to YouGov.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Besides, not being British is not a moral condemnation. It's just an observation of reality. Many Muslims living in Britain are not British in any real sense, an issue that the telegraph has covered repeatedly. This does not justify cruelty towards Muslims and I would never endorse mistreating anyone on the basis of their faith. The telegraph, on the other hand, has spent the last three years running for cover for Israel's genocide against Muslims in Gaza. Now, that's the line that has sparked a huge backlash, especially from the telegraph. So who is the real extremist here? And, Raph, look, I think where Restore Britain makes a very, very strong argument is by saying, actually, like, our priority is not the politics of the Middle East, which has been effed up for generations.
Starting point is 00:57:34 will likely remain so. They take a much more Britain-first approach. Now, I don't think everyone within Restore, including Rupert, agree with all of Charlie Downs's views on the situation in terms of genocide, or the alleged genocide. But it's not really the point, is it? The point is that Restore Britain wants to focus on the UK. And I don't know, I feel so sad seeing Alistair Heath, the columnists who I used to. to have great respect for seeming to become like the left attacking reform. He's just using all of the same tactics on restore.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Yeah, we are turning on each other at a time when we should be coming together. So these attacks, you know, the attacks by restore and reform, the attacks by reform on restore, the attack by the media on these parties, what's happening now is you are making it even less likely people are going to come together. You know, remember, a huge tranche of restore voters used to be reform voters. But now what's happened is so many restore voters absolutely hate the Reform Party and the same thing as happening at Reform. There's contempt for Restore.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Now, look, at the New Culture Forum, we have Restore voters, we have Reform voters, we have SDP voters, we even have Tory voters amongst our supporters and our members, amongst my following on social media. Many reform, many restore. And I've spoken to them at a very event. They're all looking for the same thing. They're all decent people. The voters are the same,
Starting point is 00:59:08 but they are seeing the messaging and they're beginning to become hostile to each other. And this is disastrous for the nation. We have to bring people together and I want to make it my mission to try to knock heads together and say, look, we have to look at the greater goal. Save all your ammunition and target it at the left
Starting point is 00:59:27 because they're getting a free ride whilst we all have pot shots at each other. Raif, I do think though lots of people are questioning what is going on at the Daily Telegraph, and I will question it because here's the thing. Their ownership has changed recently, Rafe. And so they are now owned by Axel Springer, this German company, the head of Axel Springer is a Zionist. But it's more, I think, that the coverage seems to be moving much more to the left.
Starting point is 00:59:57 I mean, look at the Stephen Barrett pointed it out, but obviously a lot of people were really shocked by it, running this puff piece interview with the London Islamist Mesaed Khan under the headline British Muslims are being made to feel like second-class citizens. Now, all I've seen from the Daily Telegraph rave, and this is a process that has happened over a number of months, actually, including before the Axel Spring ownership, but all I've seen from the Daily Telegraph is Daily Telegraph subscribers
Starting point is 01:00:27 becoming increasingly unhappy with the approach of the newspaper that they used to love and that they used to trust. I mean, the Daily Telegraph tried to describe this show and shows by Father Calvin Robinson and Lawrence Fox has been far right. They tried to get Connor Tomlinson and Lucy White cancelled from the Buy Me a coffee platform. They're now saying that restore are just something that can't even be countenance. Like, we're not even going to debate them. They're just subhuman. They've just got to be thrust out. by anyone on the mainstream right. And at the same time, they are running puff pieces where Sadiq Khan says that it's British Muslims being made to feel like second-class citizens.
Starting point is 01:01:10 I don't know, Rafe. Like, for me, I feel like maybe this is going to be the end of the Daily Telegraph in terms of it. I don't, I mean, I don't mean from a business point of view, but in terms of it being the great patriotic newspaper, because all I'm seeing is hundreds and hundreds of people saying that they are going to cancel their subscriptions. And I mean, I would welcome them to join the independent media space, to subscribe to the New Culture Forum, to subscribe to Outspoken. Because as you say, what we are not doing on these platforms is saying you're a scumbag if you vote for Restore Britain or support Restore Britain, just like we're not saying you're a scumbag if you support the Conservatives or you're a scumbag if you support Nigel Farage.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Yeah. Absolutely right. Look, when Axel Springer was first touted as a potential central purchaser, I was very worried. And I was just hoping that my fears wouldn't come true. And yes, I am very, very worried. I think, you know, the telegraph, the spectator, for me, the spectator has also taken a turn to the left under Michael Gove, a man who I think would never have been made editor of the spectator. We've seen it take a similarly more centrist view on many issues. And now the telegraph. And the telegraph and the spectator are the only two real heavyweight intellectual publications serving the mainstream British right in this country, one doing, you know, magazine type stuff, and the other one doing heart-hitting journalism.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Thank heavens we still have people like Alison Pearson there. I mean, Alistair Heath, very, very sound chap. Alice DeHith has a, you know, is a very, very respectable figure on the right as well. But to see these things, to see the interview with Sadistic Khan, to see, you know, articles now about the importance of climate change in terms of net, keeping to net zero and so forth. There are actually a few disturbing articles showing Axel Springer's track record. People can Google and see. We should all be worried about this. We can't just rely on channels like yours and the New Culture Forum, which are unfortunately not reaching the parts of the country
Starting point is 01:03:12 that the spectator and telegraph reach. We need to reach out to Middle England, middle Britain. And these were the ways we were doing that. So yeah, it is very worrying. And then obviously we have the Clacton buy election this week. I was looking at Polly Market yesterday, Rave. And you know, Polly Market is this great tool which sort of uses actual market predictors to see what is going to happen in certain scenarios. And it changes in real time. But I mean, look, this is now far and away.
Starting point is 01:03:47 And I described it as bad news for Lawrence Fox because, yes, Nigel Farage is going to win. but Polly Market now has count been faced at a 99% chance to take second place in the by-election. All of this to me, Rafe, has just felt like a horrifying, unnecessary, unedifying side show. Have I got it wrong? I mean, is there anything that's going to be learned from this by-election on Thursday? It just feels like irrelevant to me in the conversation. and I think Nigel Farage should have been spending more time going against Andy Burnham rather than Count Binface
Starting point is 01:04:25 and just being honest. Yeah, no, it's been an own goal. I'm sure if they could get into a time machine, they would have done things differently. So many resources have been focused on Clacton to the detriment of putting forces into the mayoral election in Manchester, for example. I think the big mistake, of course, was not understanding history. You know, other parties are not going to,
Starting point is 01:04:50 to feel motivated to stand against you when you are in the safest reform seat in the country, which is what Clacton is. It's only if you're having it, if you're defending a marginal seat and there's a chance of unseating you, that parties are going to feel as if there's a reason for them to get involved. And this is precisely what happened with David Davis, you know, a decade ago when he's basically called by-election as a sitting incumbent MP and the other party said, no, people as reform should have looked to that and thought, well, we don't want that to happen again. Yeah, totally. Totally. I mean, I just think at the time where there's a new prime minister, I would have much rather had Nigel Farage taking the fight to Andy Burnham in Manchester.
Starting point is 01:05:34 To be honest, I don't know how you feel about it, but I am just going to be so relieved when the Clapton by-election is over. I have a horrible feeling, though. Call me Mystic Meg. I have a horrible feeling, we're going to be back campaigning in Clacton before the end of the year, and that election may well be far, far more important. Breaking today, it is the final humiliation of James O'Brien, that subhuman fool, that man who will believe anyone on the left who strokes his massive ego has finally, Finally admitted, what those of us watching his ludicrous career move from right-wing Daily Express, Shobah's reporter, to hard leftist Farage hating, flame thrower, all new.
Starting point is 01:06:31 He's just a mug. He is just a mug. And the only reason anyone gives him the time of day is because he's on LBC. So here's the Gido Forks reporting of what happened. And of course, it's all in relation to the Cambridge University professor fantasist Jason Arde. And O'Brien described our day. This is back in 2023 as a remarkable and brilliant man. But he went further because Ardae had so rubbed his ego that he attacked the De Himes and the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
Starting point is 01:07:11 for what he clearly suggested, right, was racism. That was the undertone. And now he has gone on air and just had to admit what a mug he is. But what I would say is that no one should ever trust James O'Brien, right? Because remember, this is also the guy who completely pushed forward the case of the paedophile fantasist Carl Beach, who had claimed that a whole load of figures on the... right had been part of a sex ring. It was all made up. And he also pushed completely made up allegations against me. So, so I think this acknowledgement that James O'Brien is a mug has come far
Starting point is 01:07:54 too late. We can enjoy it all the same. Watch. What's your takeaway here? Because mine is very, very personal. I can't separate the personal from the public. I feel that I feel like a mug, actually is the short answer. I don't feel guilt. I don't feel, oh, you should have done different or you should have done better because, I mean, who would? Who would meet a Cambridge professor and immediately start thinking, God, I wonder whether you actually deserve to be a... I certainly wouldn't do that. If I was a racist and I met a black Cambridge professor,
Starting point is 01:08:25 then I probably would find myself thinking, yeah, really, black guy, professor. I don't think, but I'm not a racist, so it didn't cross my mind. But it's more the personal contact that I've had with him subsequently that makes me feel like a mug. The fact that he thought I was someone that he might be able to persuade to stick up for him when he knew that he'd done wrong. I did like this little video.
Starting point is 01:08:49 This was a bit of fun watch. What's your takeaway here? Because mine is very, very person. I can't separate the personal from the public. I feel like a mug. So basically, do you know how to get full support of the mug, the subhuman mug, that I'm going to now refer to James O'Brien as?
Starting point is 01:09:08 Just flatter him. just tell James O'Brien that he is God and that he's changed a generation and then he's going to forgive you for everything because that is exactly what happened during the truly cringeworthy podcast unfortunately it's only on audio not video but boy oh boy it's worth checking back as ROPX nutmeg posted in one of his interviews James O'Brien becomes audibly emotional because Jason Arday praises him it doesn't seem to matter that the praise, what you've done for public sociology doesn't even bear mentioning, is simply an extraordinary word salad. And by the way, James O'Brien never came into this interview with Jason
Starting point is 01:09:53 R. Day thinking, oh, gosh, this guy's story looks pretty extraordinary. Let's ask him some tough questions because instead he asked total softballs, lob total softballs like, is he finding time for more balance in his life? Watch this. Have you, are you finding more balance now? I wouldn't say so. Do you still want to? I do. To be honest, you, I need to learn to do that.
Starting point is 01:10:23 And I think a good way of doing that is learning to appreciate the moment more. So, for example, being in this space with you, James, I've followed your work for the best part of 15 years. You know, at no stage in my life did I ever think I would meet you. and the work you've done, not has it inspired a generation of people of social activists, you know, and people of the like,
Starting point is 01:10:51 it's given people hope because I do think our voice is getting completely drowned out and I think what you do is provide almost a lighthouse to the issues. You bring an honesty to the issues. When I say honesty, I don't mean honesty, I mean yes in truth, but you bring something and authenticity
Starting point is 01:11:09 that could be compromised and you haven't done that and what it kind of is an exemplar for how all of us I think need to be and so you know that gives me hope you know if you've got James O'Brien doing that it's kind of like okay like you got this army of one but actually he's not operating as an army of one he's doing this and he's building this army
Starting point is 01:11:34 and everybody's kind of coming up behind you and it's kind of cool to kind of think actually this wouldn't be my reality five, six, seven weeks ago, two months ago, six years ago, ten years ago. And here we sit. Can you hear James O'Brien? He's literally tearing up. As Andrew Doyle put it, this is incredible. Jason Ardey pretends to flatter James O'Brien with a spiel of gibberish.
Starting point is 01:11:57 O'Brien, susceptible to sycifancy, even when incoherent, finds it all terribly emotional, to the point where he has to end the interview because he's in tears. What you've done is beyond remarkable. And I don't know. If you knew how much of an impact you've had on people in our sector, and the coolest thing to be, and I don't proclaim to be one, is like a social scientist, obviously, STEM people would say different. But, you know, the impact you've had on social science
Starting point is 01:12:30 and what you've done for public sociology, it doesn't even bear mentioning. You know, it's provided the catalyst for, kind of podcasts that were born out of the work you do. A good example would be surviving society and that's presented by, you know, as I said, one of my best friends, Dr. Chantelle Lewis.
Starting point is 01:12:50 And, you know, the exemplar or the kind of example of that was kind of podcast like your own, the work that you do and kind of, you know, the thing that you've done that has given us all the kind of license, along with many other fantastic kind of broadcasts and journalists as well,
Starting point is 01:13:07 but particularly you, is the ability to speak truth to power. And the way you do it and the sophistication with which you do it, that's why I'm saying, like, you know, I know who's going to win in the end. And as long as we've got people like you kind of, you know, steering our ship, I think we're going to be on, we're going to win. It's a good job you did that at the end of this interview
Starting point is 01:13:29 because I'm close to, I'm very emotional to hear that, Jason. Thank you. No, no. And thank you for your time today. Jason, our day. Thank you. Thank you. Good Lord.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Where is the sick bucket? This is the real James O'Brien. What's your takeaway here? Because mine is very, very person. I can't separate the personal from the public. I feel like a mug. Rafe Hedlemanku, fellow at the New Culture Forum. Look, so much to get into on this controversy.
Starting point is 01:13:59 But can we just start with James O'Brien? Because this is not the first time, Rafe. Like, when are the left going to wake up? James O'Brien is one of the worst judges of character in all of the United Kingdom. Yeah, but can I first say that you are the catalyst for change in my life over the last few years, Dan, and without you, I don't know where I would be.
Starting point is 01:14:21 So thank you so much. I'm tearing out right. Yeah, I mean, it's quite amazing. You know, James O'Brien likes to think that he is the smartest man in radio. And yet, of course, as you say, Carl Beach, that notorious paedophile and another vile fantasist who claimed that so many upstanding public figures were involved in unspeakable crimes, and he put his reputation on the line there. I mean, this is what we are dealing with now. We're dealing with people on the left who have had their brains so addled and infected by the woke mind virus that they will quite happily put their reputations on the line and circle the wagons around individual.
Starting point is 01:15:03 who they think tick all the right boxes. And in Jason Arde, they really had the identity politics bingo card in human form, right? Race, neurodivergent, poverty, illiterate, mute. This was, you know, this was the equivalent of train spotters getting excited about the flying Scotsman. Jason Ardee was James O'Brien's flying Scotsman here. And other people, real journalists like Krishna Guru Murthy from Channel 4, He also interviewed him. Now, he's trained to smell BS.
Starting point is 01:15:38 None of that was on display here. I mean, this has been a, I would say, I've called this a national scandal for the media, for our universities, for the police, how so many allegedly brilliant people could get completely taken by someone like this. And the problem is, it's going to just keep happening, right?
Starting point is 01:16:00 because there is absolutely no desire by these institutions to actually hold their hands up. Okay, we get an admission from James O'Brien that he's a mug. But I have specifically, Rafe, been watching the channel for news coverage of this scandal for exactly the reason that you pointed out. Because Christian and Guru Murphi, who I actually think is one of the worst leftists in the country, he gets away with so much, right? he gets away with so much. He is treated like he is an impartial news broadcaster when actually this guy is completely crooked. You know, far more left wing and far more dishonest about the right
Starting point is 01:16:42 than anyone say at G.B. News is about the left. But because he is on the left, he gets away with it. You know, no off communist investigations, nothing like that. So I look closely at this because you're completely right. He did this, again, very sycophantic podcast with J. in Ardei, I think was made to look like a fool. In all of the coverage that I have watched on Channel 4 News, Rafe, the undertone of the coverage remains that there is a race issue here. They cannot just report that Ardee misled everyone and is actually a terrible liar who let down so many people. They can't do that, Rafe. There is still an undertone in their coverage that he is being covered differently because he is black.
Starting point is 01:17:31 It's sort of the most insane thing, of course, because actually the only reason he got into any of these positions is because he's black, but they can't really say that. So they have to say, no, the reason that you're celebrating this raf is because he's black. And that is the undertone of their coverage. It's much more one of sorrow than anger, if you see what I mean. And just imagine if this had been a white academic. who happened to be on the right.
Starting point is 01:17:58 Like, I'll give you an example, and people may disagree or think this is fair or not. But Matt Goodwin, when he was rumbled for using AI on his book, oh my God, they loved it. They absolutely loved it. Now, look, I may have enjoyed that one a bit too because Goodwin had been a bit of a nasty man to people like me. But you understand the point that I'm making, right?
Starting point is 01:18:24 It's a totally different tone. And I'm sorry, the lies of Jason Ardei are on a whole other level to Matt GBT, you know, putting his book through Grog. Yeah, well, actually, I like Matt Goodwin myself. But yes, look, it's quite clear here. This is about race. It's about DEI. And what we've got in the form of Jason Ardei is somebody who has essentially risks making the whole shoddy tower fall down. Firstly, this is about the racism of the left because they have held Jason Ardei to a lower standard because he's black.
Starting point is 01:19:07 Now, that is by definition racist because if he were a white person in this position, he would have been pilloried, investigated and fired. Cambridge University has a zero tolerance policy towards plagiarism, yet it refused to investigate these allegations. John Moore's University in Liverpool cleared Arde. of plagiarism, whereas even left-leaning progressive academics said, of course he plagiarized that. The only reason he got away with it was because he was black. But the real question that comes out of all of this, the real question which should worry us all, is how many other Jason R-days out there? How many people who have, this is all about DEI hires, how many people in academia,
Starting point is 01:19:52 but DEI doctors, nurses, engineers, architects, pilots, how many of them should not? never have been admitted to university, should never have graduated, should never have been hired, how many of their CVs were scrutinised and verified. This could have huge implications for patients, for clients, for passengers, goes through our entire system. It's also exposed the complete nonsense of these ridiculous non-subjects such as critical race theory in which he was immersed. He was put up as being a world leader in critical race theory, a complete charlatan. What does that tell you about the standing of this completely nonsense, nonsensical subject, which has no empirical basis whatsoever?
Starting point is 01:20:37 This is a major crisis for our universities. It's a major crisis for sociology and these Mickey Mouse courses like gender and critical race theory. And of course, our woke elite, the woke establishment, are left with egg on their face, that they were so willing to put their reputations on their. the line for a character like this without first stopping to think, maybe there might be something in these allegations. Perhaps I should investigate that first before I sign a letter. Exactly. Maybe this is all just too good to be true. And of course, we've seen that the worst people in society like the tit whisperer Zach Polanski refused to actually say he was wrong to sign the letter,
Starting point is 01:21:17 still trying to say there was something race-based about this. It's so shocking. Now, of course, Rafe, you have nominated James O'Brien. to be our worst Britain in the world today, our Union Jackass. We are going to come to those results imminently, so do stand by. But first, I just want to get to Super Chats today. And thank you so much. TP the 8th, no, sorry, TP the 7th. Sorry, if I'm reading those Roman numerals, correct,
Starting point is 01:21:45 who is our number one supporter today. So thank you so much, TP. It says, how did the UK fall so far? from standing alone in World War II against a great evil to the incompetence collusion of the UK counter-terrorism, the UK media resulting in a murder and cover-up of a prominent political figure. Now, of course, that is in regards to these new claims today about Anne Whitikim, Nigel Farage and Joshua Kerry, and maybe we're not quite at that point, but I would argue we are getting closer. Civil Defence UK says Farage was the target, and again, I would say it is increasingly
Starting point is 01:22:22 looking that way. On this whole restore versus reform debate, 14 Barber says I'd rather Charlie Downs over Alex Phillips any day. And Laura Jane, who's been an outspoken plus member for 13 months, says the DEI stuff is all over the NHS. I doubt they will follow the new guidelines regarding the definition of what a woman is and the trans toilet issue. And indeed, we've seen Bev Craig, the new Manchester mayor replacing Andy Burnham, try and say, oh yeah, it's not my responsibility to enforce those rules. I'm not going to be looking at people's bits. Well, actually, it is. It is your job, Bev, to stop men going into women's toilets. That is your job. And you should accept them. You should embrace that. Kentsa-1357, who is actually a new member of Outspoken Plus.
Starting point is 01:23:06 Thank you so much. Says the police are far too busy policing, hurting words on social media, to take actual crime seriously. On the Whitticam cover up, Pam 0707, and I've thought this a lot, Pam, says, if this happened to someone in a different party like the Greens or Labor or even a Muslim, it would never have been covered up. Malk 5567 says, imagine how much has happened in the past that we have no idea about because we didn't have the internet at the time. And Classy Lady 92 says, don't speculate, listen to what we tell you and don't think for yourselves. That's in regards to this police statement.
Starting point is 01:23:38 Basically say nothing to see here, folks. I spy the sky, 124, says we will see the divide on the right once. store starts becoming victims, will reform stick up for them, or also just ignore it like the left do, we shall see. And Sally Waters says Alex Phillips used to be okay, but she has lost the plot. I can't stand her now. Okay, a reminder of our nominees for Union Jack. So I have nominated today, Carl Dinn. Here's the political reporter at Woke ITV News, who went on that channel and said, oh, the police are investigating a burglary at Anne Whittickham's London home. Of course, you didn't have a London home.
Starting point is 01:24:19 It was terrible reporting and they just didn't want to report the truth. Rafe, as I mentioned earlier, as nominated James O'Brien, for all of the reasons that we've just discussed, but also Sir Mark Rowley. Now, this is also in regards to this case because he had a dismissive attitude, according to Rafe, to the Met Police, trying to silence a journalist who was investigating Jason Rade. and that was truly one of the most weird and horrifying side projects in all of this. Okay, so Rafe is definitely the winner today because I'm in third place, Carl Dinan receiving just 4% of the vote.
Starting point is 01:24:54 Sir Mark Rowley is the runner up with 26% of the vote, but it had to be, didn't it today? The worst Britain in the world today with 69% of the vote. It's our subhuman mug, James O'Brien. Raif, you are also nominating for our Great Britain. Actually, what is very exciting, this woman I can tell you, is here on the show tomorrow, Rafe, on the superstar panel. But explain why she is winning. And who we're talking about?
Starting point is 01:25:24 We're talking about Sophie Corkeren, who many people will know from her various appearances on GBA News talk, Jeremy Vine. I've just done an interview with her on the New Culture Forum YouTube channel. Do check it out because we discuss her law case. to university recently she's just graduated she wants to go into law she tried to apply for a paid internship with her barrister's chambers and the body that organizes all of these thousands of internships said you have to be black to apply and as you know sophie isn't black so she is suing them suing the bar council the official legal body and she said i'm doing this on behalf of all white people and she said it's going to become her life mission to end die which we've just been discussing
Starting point is 01:26:08 And she's going to go after company, after company, after company, until the message gets out that they're going to have to pay a very big price for being racist against white people. Oh, she is a great person. She really, really is. And here is the new Culture Forum channel. I recommend everyone subscribe on YouTube. I'm suing on behalf of all white people. That's the Sophie Corrin interview here. But look, I also love that rave.
Starting point is 01:26:32 Jason, our day is a DEI national scandal. and you can get much more of Rafe's take on that Arday scandal. There you go, Rafe. Well, look at that. Jason Arday humiliates the woke elite, 167,000 views on that one, Rafe, in just four days. So a lot of people are tuning into the New Culture Forum for very good reason. I really recommend everyone subscribe. And of course, you can also subscribe and find Rafe Hidal Mancoo, who has his own YouTube channel too.
