No spin, no bias, no censorship. I'm Dan Wooten. This is Outspoken Live, episode number 209.
And there's something to be said about great leaders putting their service to the people
and their duty first to the very end. We saw it with the late Queen Elizabeth II waiting
to greet Liz Truss as Prime Minister before peacefully passing away within
48 hours. And the same thing has happened today, as Pope Francis did his duty in meeting the US
Vice President, J.D. Vance, and delivering his Easter Sunday message with his health clearly in a devastating way before passing away this morning,
Easter Monday. Now, as a Catholic, I would be foolish to pretend that Pope Francis was
not without controversy. I was opposed to his decision to speak out against Donald Trump's mass deportation plan, for example. But I respect
his duty. And unlike Benedict, he understood that this was a role for life. And I am very touched
by the words of his final message to the world yesterday, where he said, there can be no peace without freedom of religion, freedom of thought, freedom of expression.
So despite that sad news, happy Easter weekend.
I hope you are having the most beautiful time with your family and friends.
But if you are working today, don't worry.
We are here as normal to get you through with two of our favourites on the superstar panel,
conservative YouTube sensation June Slater
and the social commentator Lalani Dowding.
By the way, did you see Slippery Starmer's post on X?
Thanking Christians for our huge contributions to our country.
How low can this dude go? We didn't contribute to the country, Starmer.
We are this country, this Christian country. Honestly, he is a very dark character and we
know all too well that he wants to tear down our traditions our traditions in my digest next though a shock mosque attack
on a reform uk candidate
you cannot you cannot take my leaflet like that you cannot do that you cannot do that
you cannot i live down here i am the local candidate. You cannot do that. You cannot do that. If
they can give a leaflet, I can give the leaflet.
As Nigel Farage fights a hard right label in an interview with our very own June Slater.
Right, in these county elections, we've got to get people to come to us from both the
Labour and Conservative parties. Do you know what? We will. We will. And I think most of
our policies represent
just plain common sense the kind of thing people talk about around the family dinner table uh and
you know yeah this this sort of you know this this fringe who want sort of this party to be a hard
right it's not going to be that it just isn't going to be that okay so i'm going to show you
all of that exchange in my digest next and also why Katie Hopkins is backing reform even though she's described Nigel Farage as a snake.
Also coming up on the show today, the MSM goes mad over the trans ruling. I'm going to show you the
worst from the lovies, the MSM and the gender extremists. And speaking of Katie Hopkins,
she's weighed in on the growing controversy
over the £13 million the Met Police
is spending on the 18-year-old search
for missing Maddie McCann.
Is that right?
Then, a dramatic uncancelled aftershow on Substack.
Lady Colin Campbell and Samantha Markle
address shock claims that Meghan Markle had a hysterectomy
and that her mother,
Doria Ragland, may have used drugs during her pregnancy. So we're going to team up
with the Royal News Network to analyse that bombshell discussion. You're not going to want
to miss it. Sign up to watch on Substack www.outspoken.live. It's also the first greatest
Britain and Union jackass of the week. You decide union jackass you can vote for your winner right now in our live chat on youtube three brilliant nominations
from you today first up nominated by jhp it's india willoughby and he says it's for his disgusting
tweet about sarah everard uh that was because india willoughby over the weekend this deranged
madman wrote i'll tell you who would have loved the new prove your woman ruling from the UK Supreme Court,
Wayne Cousins, the policeman who murdered Sarah Everard.
How low will she go?
Chris Bryant, nominated by ThermCQ 1986.
And that's because he and the other Labour MPs are in Tarrington to ignore biological reality
via this leaked WhatsApp discussion
following the Supreme Court decision. And Dr. Wolf333 has gone for Rory Stewart for being wrong
on literally everything, most notably the US election where he predicted Trump would be wiped
out. So get voting now on the live chat on YouTube. Let me know what you think. I'll bring
you the best comments at the end of the show. We will also announce today's greatest Britain
then as well.
But now, let's go.
Reform UK has a problem. How to deal with its growing support for Islam and its Muslim presence within the party, including its chair Zia Yusuf, when there is out and out hostility from that religious community,
it is trying to win over. Raj Forhad, who emigrated to the UK from Bangladesh in 2010
and is standing for Nigel Farage's party in the Hainault Ward by-election in Redbridge, London,
was assaulted while campaigning outside a mosque. This is my home. You cannot take my leaflet like that.
Can I take a video?
You cannot take my leaflet like that.
You cannot.
You cannot take my leaflet like that.
You cannot do that.
You cannot do that.
You cannot.
I live down here.
I am the local candidate.
You cannot do that.
You cannot do that.
If they can give you leaflet, I can give the leaflet. I have the right.
Get away from the mosque.
Then why are you allowing others?
You're reformed, though.
Yes, why are you coming?
Reform is the party of this country.
What are you talking about?
Don't block the road. You can do whatever you want.
Reform is the party for the common country, everyone.
You have to understand it.
We have been fooled for so long.
We have been fooled for so long.
Reform is a party of this country.
Clear, clear, yeah, clear.
Yeah, I'm your local candidate.
I live down here.
Don't believe all these leftists.
They are destroying our country.
I'm the hardworking person, working person.
We are being Muslim,
we've been fooled so many times. Yeah. We don't know.
Okay, so you see the aggression there. SEDS UK saw that on X and wrote,
I wonder what Zia makes of this. No candidate from any party should be intimidated like this.
If a Muslim candidate was attacked by Christians,
the media would be very quick to jump on that story. No doubt this won't make it to the news.
And of course, it hasn't made it to the news apart from here. But over the weekend, Raj,
the candidate, was profiled and interviewed by the left-wing Guardian, an interview that has been posted today on X by Nigel Farage, because Nigel Farage seems to love the left-wing media
now, even though he doesn't want to appear on the independent media, but there you go.
And he said that as an immigrant, he is opposed to the way illegal migrants are impacting everyone,
and he hit out at claims the party is racist. So pictured here with Youssef, he added,
myself, I'm a Muslim, but I believe my religion is a private matter,
nothing to do with my politics,
because if I consider myself as a Muslim voter,
then I'm not considering my residents who are Christian or Jews,
who are Hindu, who are atheists.
I have that kind of positive mindset.
And after that attack outside the mosque, he added on X,
today I stood up to lies and division.
Outside my local mosque, just next to my house in Haynault,
Redbridge, anti-racism day activists were handing out lease bullets, calling Reform UK racist and
urging people not to vote for us. They spread anger and misinformation. As a Reform UK candidate
in the upcoming by-election, I spoke the truth. Reform UK stands for unity, fairness and real
change. I faced intimidation for standing up for what's right. For Reform UK and for unity, fairness and real change. I faced intimidation for standing up for what's right for Reform UK and for our country.
We are not a racist party and I won't be silenced.
And the deputy leader of the party, Richard Tice, supported him, adding on X,
Thank you, Raj, for standing up against such abuse. Britain needs reform.
But the shocking attack has raised the ongoing issue of how the party deals with Farage's tack to the centre to appeal to left-wing voters.
Not to mention woke issues like reparations, because in that same Guardian article that Nigel has reposted on X this afternoon,
the party's Enfield branch chair, a man called Neville Watson, was also interviewed. And he revealed that he
supports economic reparations for the, quote, unimaginable wrong of slavery. He said it had
driven a deep-rooted and sometimes subconscious racism and left an indelible mark on the lives
of a people. So I'm just trying to get my head around this and be totally fair.
If you are a Reform UK member who posted, for example, something that I believe, like,
Tommy Robinson is a political prisoner, you're out. You're booted out of the party
faster than Nigel Farage can say something about Rupert Lowe. So you're just gone if that happens.
However, if you're in the party
and you give an interview to the Guardian newspaper
saying that you believe in financial reparations
for slavery and historic racism,
which goes totally against the party's policy,
that's fine.
No issues here.
Nigel will post the article on Guardian.
You can understand why there is concern from people like me on the right.
And the party's ex-MP, Rupert Lowe, today went into this further,
especially on the Islam issue, posting this video of Nigel on X.
But the nub of it is we have a muslim population in britain growing by about 75 every 10 years
right that's just where we are if we politically alienate the whole of islam we will lose we'll lose so how does one include we will lose by 2050
goodness knows what kind of a terrible state we're going to be in
but rupert in regards to that video continued the growing war between the two men and i am
going to take you through quite a lot of what he said.
He wrote,
It's depressing to hear Farage echoing the same fearful rhetoric we've heard for decades.
He states if we politically alienate Islam, we will lose.
He gives a year of 2050 for a terrible state we'll potentially be in.
It's this fatalistic, defeatist thinking that has crippled Western
resolve for so many long years. Cowardice led us into this mess. It will certainly not lead us out.
This is not a question of alienating individuals or of disrespecting peaceful, law-abiding Muslims.
It's about whether Western democracies still possess the confidence and the courage to
robustly defend our values in the same way
Muslim countries do, or whether we must now shape our politics and our whole way of life in order to
avoid offending a particular religion, I say we must not. What does Farage mean when he says we
will lose? If Western nations must compromise every political stance, censor honest debate,
and soften our principles simply to avoid upsetting Islam,
then we've already lost.
Farage's warning is not a new one.
It's a boring repetition of the same cowardice
that has allowed countless European cities
to change beyond recognition,
for free speech to be radically undermined,
and for our liberal values to be eroded away,
all in the name of multiculturalism.
I don't want multiculturalism. We have a culture and it works just fine. One that respects women,
values free speech, rewards hard work, and treats everyone equally under the law.
We don't need parallel systems or separate rules that directly clash with our way of life.
Our civilization should not be held hostage by the cultural sensitivities of any belief system, especially one that in its most politicized form has already
shown a total unwillingness to reciprocate the tolerance we have gifted to it. I would argue
that in certain parts of the country, many followers of Islam have already politically
alienated themselves by electing openly sectarian MPs who are willing to reduce the gang rape scandal
to a false right-wing narrative and who hold infinitely more passion for Gaza than their own
neglected constituencies. For many, their sympathies and loyalties simply lie elsewhere,
a sad but sobering fact. Farage believes that the political cost of defending British values is too high, finding himself in emphatic agreement with the rotten establishment consensus.
That's his choice.
My view, our values are worth protecting, even if it's politically inconvenient.
And that post on X really sums up the split on the right at the moment.
Because while Reform UK's polling is extraordinary,
like MRP has reported over the weekend, they would win the most, the highest number of seats
of any party if an election were held tomorrow. They would also take the seats of cabinet
ministers like Angela Rayner, Pat McFadden, Bridget Phillipson, Ed Miliband, Jonathan Reynolds,
Lisa Nandy and Yvette Cooper. But despite all of that, there'd still be no in-air majority. Meanwhile, Labour's next big hope, Wes Streeting, would
lose his seat to a sectarian Muslim independent candidate. Let that sink in.
And not everyone on the right shares Rupert's view. Because over the weekend, Katie Hopkins described Nigel Farage as a snake,
while also seeming to back Reform UK. Watch.
I think an apology would be a great idea. Draw a line under this and let's move forward with
saving the country. It is possible, my darlings, you know, to hold two thoughts at
the same time, like two oranges, if you will. Firstly, Farage is a snake. Secondly, reform
can end labour. You have to hold these two oranges at the same time. That's it.
But Katie is very clear. She wants Nigel to apologise to Rupert and for there
to be some type of reconciliation between the two wings of the party, I guess you would say.
And that's certainly what I want. But in an exclusive interview with our very own June
Slater for her YouTube channel, Farage has insisted his strategy is the right
one.
Explaining myself, because you must
find it strange that I've never joined a party
and I've never really gone full in,
but the only way I can be
productive
and honest is to stand back from
it all and see what goes on.
Yeah, I mean, look,
there are two very different ways.
The idea that Twitter, or Hex,
as it now is, I mean, you know,
come to Morecambe, this is the real
was, you know, I've been to visit,
I've been to the
Morecambe veterans' breakfast flight
this morning, and everybody there
from like 28 to 88
who've served in the forces or
whatever they've done.
And then you come here.
Do you know, this town didn't handle the foreign project until February.
Here we are this morning with Hacker Pubhouse.
We've got candidates for every seat.
So I think sometimes people obsess too much with what's been said and done online.
And it's kind of, a lot of these people online,
they're sort of all getting their victory across with this.
But they realise that real politics
is about getting out
meeting people, building a party
and you know, it's difficult sometimes not to get
frustrated by some of the silly actions
that people do
but you know what, on May the 1st
or rather
more accurately, on May the 2nd
when people wake up, they're going to see
what we've done.
And I think action speak no.
He then explicitly pushed back to June
on the idea that the party would ever move
to what he described as the hard right.
Watch.
During the 2019 general election, I called the election right.
I said that Labour were tanking support
because no way that decent Labour people would give their vote to Jeremy Corbyn.
And it wasn't Warren who won the election, it was Corbyn that gave it to him.
And I feel, because my message box is telling me the same story again and again,
these Labour voters need somewhere to place that vote.
And they're not going to vote to something too right-wing.
And they're not going to vote to something too Tory.
And they won't trust the Tories again.
They're a spent force.
So I predict, and I'm doing it now,
that in an election,
I think that you'll get an awful lot of support
from people who are just fed up with fake politics,
fake career politicians
and being too far either side.
And look, you know, we attract equally. I mean, here in Lancashire, right, in these county
elections, we've got to get people to come to us from both the Labour and Conservative
parties. Do you know what? We will. We will. And I think most of our policies represent
just plain common sense. The kind of thing people talk about around the family dinner table.
And, you know, yeah, this this sort of, you know, this this fringe who want sort of this party to be a hard right.
It's not going to be that. It isn't going to be that. It's going to be a common sense party.
If you don't like it, get off. But tell you what join public powers yeah i gotta go okay
but join slater joins me now on today's superstar panel alongside the social commentator lalani
dowdy and june i have to point out first all, because I know you've been receiving a lot of flack after that interview.
But of course, you're not shilling for anyone.
You don't take any money from Reform UK.
You're not working for Reform UK.
Nothing like that.
This is just what you believe in.
And June, you are winning over some of our viewers already.
Philip Franklin has just posted in the live chat, June Slater is my secret crush. So there you go, June. The day has started off
pretty well. But look, there is this split in Reform UK. You acknowledge that. Even Nigel
acknowledged it within the interview. He says, no, no, no, no, we can't go to the hard right.
That's why we need to appeal to this Islam vote.
That's why we're going to have the Muslim candidates.
Rupert Lowe just today saying, June, that's just giving up on our country.
All right. all right um we have been scuppered ever since enoch powell delivered a speech that seemed to
i don't know earmarked him as a far-right unsuitable character to come to power
and the sooner people realize that if you go at it too hard, right, you will lose. You will lose the fight against any religion.
You will lose any chance of getting into number 10. And we are all, myself included, howling at
the moon until somebody gets into number 10. They didn't want Enoch Powell because the grip on this
country is decades old. We haven't had anything try and
pull it back to the centre. The centre is the real ground because the hard right people have only
gone hard right because things have gone too far left. So realistically, we are all centrist.
What's happened is the left have taken over the civil service and the country. Tony Blair still has a hand in running this country because all the people he put in place are still there.
And that's the work that has to be done. Rupert's speech is brilliant.
I agree with everything he says about how things have been let down and the culture has been diluted.
But that's a naivety from someone who's only been in real politics six months. You're
dealing with a man named Nigel Farage who's been doing this for 25 years. And he's been pushed back,
called a racist, called a fascist, called a Nazi during that time. He's been banned from bars in
Brussels. He's had food thrown at him. He's had assassination attempts.
He's had name calling. He's had people spitting on him in restaurants. He's had excrement put
through his letterbox. He knows all what it's about. Rupert's just been rocketed in because
Nigel Farage came back to politics. Every single one of those MPs, apart from Lee Anderson,
would not have their seat if he hadn't returned.
And what you're missing here, because you're that busy fighting on the far right, because all these young journalists are trying to make a name for themselves.
If we go down that route, expect to see Keir Starmer smiling at you in 2029. The only way you're going to get anything anywhere near like a change in politics is to get
someone in who's savvy enough to use tactical measures to get what we want, to make the country
unattractive to people coming in. Just because he's not making wild statements and not addressing
immigration with a sledgehammer doesn't mean he's not capable of putting the country on
the right track and all this business about people want to advise him on policy issues
I don't think anyone's got I saw it firsthand the other day in up in Morecambe with these council
candidates there's so much work gone into this party in such a short space of time to unravel the stranglehold
that Keir Starmer the Labour left have got on this country and the not so conservative Tory party
that have let us down for 15 years and unless we get someone in that's got a more cushioned approach
to their politics we're all going to be screaming at the moon. And all you've got to look at,
would Tommy Robinson be sat in solitary confinement if Nigel Farage was your Prime Minister?
Would Nigel Farage have had communist advisers talk to him about how to lock the country down?
The whole country would have a different landscape. The boats would be stopped. There's
legislation in place to stop it. There's legislation
to process offshore. It's here. It's available to use, but nobody's got the political will to do it.
And when people say, oh, I didn't ask him any hard questions, I wasn't there as a journalist.
I'm not a journalist. I'm not an investigative reporter. I am actually in that sphere. When I
went to that meeting, when I was invited to that meeting,
I was there as a supporter for the council candidates who were doing real hard work.
And I see other people that are going on mainstream media, GB News, etc, and Talk TV and Sky News.
It's all well and good giving you soundbites out, but unfortunately, there's a real
boring side to politics where people have to discuss how much money is being wasted on carbon
capture at council level when they can't even clean a drain. You need people who want to do that.
Yeah, you do. You do. And I totally understand that side of it. Lalani, I guess where I feel the most concern is over this idea that we have to compromise because I'm so sick of the compromises that the Conservative Party made.
And they made so many compromises that they were no longer a party of the right or even the centre
right but a party of the left and Robert Jenrick is trying to take them back to the right but it's
going to take a long time to build up any trust but what we see now is Nigel actually quite blatantly
trying to appeal to the centre ground say that we are going to be a party of the centre left as well as the centre right. And I don't think that's what this country needs in order to be saved. And on mass deportations,
for example, Lani, the support is overwhelming. I mean, that Find Out Now poll last week said
100% of the Reform UK members they surveyed wanted mass deportations. It was 88% of Conservative voters
and even 52% of Labour voters. And remember, Nigel says that mass deportations of people
who are already here illegally is impossible. You know, I think it's a really hard one because
I think somebody ran the numbers and you'd have to have a jumbo jet going out every hour, completely full, to get all the illegals out of this country.
So it is a hard one. I understand that. But what does worry me is exactly what worries you.
And it's this, you know, coming to the centre. Now, if it was the centre from maybe 20 years ago, I'd say, great, great.
But the centre now, it's not really a centre. I feel
like the Conservatives were already in the centre. So we just need somebody or the Tories,
who are fake Conservatives. So we just need somebody a little right of that. But I feel
like Katie Hopkins too, which is, I do feel like Nigel's a snake. but I also think that in the next general election it's imperative
to vote for reform and I do feel that way um I think at the uh local council level it could be
a little different with the up-and-coming um elections going on now there's some really
wonderful independents I'm actually going to vote for an independent because I know him.
I trust him and he'll do what's best for my little parish.
So, you know, in that case, I would vote independent. But, you know, four years time, it's a long way away.
I think I'd like to see an apology as well. But I think it would have to be reformed because who else is there?
We've seen the damage the fake conservative Tories have done.
We've seen the even worse damage Labour have done.
So you're kind of stuck there wondering, you know, it's to me, it's very disappointing.
It's very demoralising. I've had to take a step back from looking at it all because it's just you know really upset me and I don't want
to get into arguments with friends of mine it's not a big enough issue for me to you know start
splitting people up and friendships and all of that about who you're going to vote for so um I
would I would probably you know be where you and you and Katie. And also, I will say as well, well done to Raj.
It's good. I'm totally OK with moderate Muslims who want to integrate into this country,
be part of this country, live by, you know, kind of our rules and the Christian law that's a way of life that's been happening,
who are okay with that, who go and practice their religion,
however they want to.
Totally. I just thought what was terrible.
Yeah, I just thought what was terrible is the way that he was attacked
outside that mosque.
And the problem is what happened outside that mosque,
I would argue, is probably where most Muslim voters are at.
Yes. Now, June, I want to ask you about this other guy who's been quoted in The Guardian today
backing reparations, because Stephen Edgington from GB News has, I think, just made a very fair
point on X. He said, big test for Farajan reform. Assuming they were unaware of this and didn't read the article they tweeted, will he now be expelled from reform? Or is it just those on the right who are removed for their views on migration and Islam? And also on Tommy Robinson, because surely reform cannot allow a branch leader to remain in place who has said that he believes in reparations June
I mean that's like a hard left policy that's nuts
I think you might be seeing me on his thread a bit later just to clarify something that some of
your viewers might not understand but in the UK Tommy Robinson
very wrongly in my opinion was arrested and charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
Now in this country if a political party is deemed, I'm reading this, if a political party is deemed
to have connections to terrorism the term used to describe the action take taken is called proscription. Proscription
means the government through the Home Secretary can ban the organisation making it illegal to
survive to support or participate in its activities. Now I think the reason for this like oh Tommy
Robinson is to avoid that because I think nothing would give the establishment greater pleasure than being able to have an excuse to dissolve reform.
I mean, the Electoral Commission watched reform like Ofcom watched GB News.
And that's what's happened with Marine Le Pen in France, for example.
They found a spurious way to exclude her from the process. So the thing is with Tommy is that he,
Nigel didn't have to go and kind of attack him the way he did.
You know, he lied about,
about something to do with him assaulting his wife,
completely made that up.
His wife had to come out and make a statement saying that that never
happened. He was never charged with that.
So Nigel didn't have to do
that which is what's so frustrating to me it's just saying look look Tommy's never even tried
to become part of the party when I saw him in December he said that he had no interest in in
in joining reform but he did want the spurious attacks on him from reform to stop but june before we get
totally carried away by the tommy robinson debate can i just ask you about this particular candidate
because you've got to understand there'll be a lot of people saying why can you be suspended from the
party simply for saying that tomm is a political prisoner, yet a branch
chair can tell the left-wing Guardian newspaper that he supports reparations for slavery?
Well, I've no idea how reform are going to act because I'm not even a member. But all I can say,
using logic, the reason there will be more hardcore with someone supporting tommy is this
is this right wing view that the media have and come an election time they'll just twist everything
they'll just twist it even if nigel apologized for getting it wrong about tommy and his wife
with that situation um even if he apologized the media would turn that into something they won't
do anything with this fella because he's asking for reparations,
because he's talking their language.
So it's not such a danger to reform.
You know, the Electoral Commission aren't going to have any problem with it.
The mainstream media aren't going to leave him alone.
They're not going to attack him.
This party will now be under attack until it gets to an election.
Personally, I think asking for reparations and
standing for a reform party he should have the decency to step down i mean i don't know how good
he is at his job yeah you know i just i just think what this shows is that when it comes to the party
selection process they're so desperate looking through everyone's social media oh have they ever
said anything terrible about uh tommy robinson or have they ever supported tommy robinson you know do they watch dan
wootton outspoken that that gets you kicked off probably now whereas actually they should
probably be looking at the fact oh do we actually have a hard leftist in our midst who wants to bankrupt the country with reparations.
There you go.
Breaking right now, a sniveling U-turn from the Harry Potter brats who turned on JK Rowling.
Remember, the person who made them household names, made them multi-millionaires for standing up for women's rights is incoming.
I absolutely love this. The biggest weasel of them
all, Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, has removed his vicious June 2020 statement from the Trevor
Project website, where he proclaimed that trans women are women, and he's removed that following
the UK's landmark Supreme Court ruling. The IT Crowd and Father Ted creator,
Graham Linehan, who was cancelled for expressing the same views as Rowling, posted on X,
love it, he's panicking. But other stars are still attempting to spread hatred towards the
legendary writer, like Bridgerton star Nicola Goughlin, who said she would go nowhere near the forthcoming HBO TV adaptation
of Potter. I'm sure they will get by just fine without love. And the deranged ex-newsreader
India Willoughby, who celebrated by posting on X over a thousand people, many cis women chanting F-U-C-K-J-K-R in Parliament Square. This is what we need to do.
These weirdos do not represent the overwhelming majority of British women. Let's see if that
makes it onto the news. Let women speak, eh? And JK Rowling, quote, tweeted that saying,
only a thousand? Hashtag disappointed. But look, on a serious note, JK was subjected to revolting death threats in London this weekend.
Plus, these absolute extremists were conducting the sort of criminal damage that if it were a Tommy Robinson supporter, they would be immediately locked up with the key thrown away.
I mean, as Chris Rose posted on X, we currently have individuals, he's referring to Lucy Connolly,
sitting in prison for posting less threatening social comments on social media. I hope those
who held these placards have their house raided, arrested and no bail granted, just like Lucy Connolly. But that won't happen.
And I'll tell you why it won't happen. Because we live in a two-tier society where extreme
violence from the hard left is tolerated. So let me return to my superstar panel now,
June Slater and Leilani Dowding. Leilani Dowding, I want to start with the Harry Potter stars, though,
because this bratty little weasel, Daniel Radcliffe,
is not just going to be able to slime his way out of this, is he,
by taking down the revolting statement that he went public with
against J.K. Rowling from a website.
He needs to publicly apologise.
Nothing less will do.
Absolutely. They all need to apologise. And actually, I don't really think their apologies
should be accepted because I don't think they'll mean it. It will just be a way of
trying to weasel their way back into JK's good books, perhaps. So I think they're a disgrace.
Their whole stance from the start was a disgrace
anyway and like you said um what's really scary are those placards saying you know
asking for harm i won't say it but asking for harm to be placed upon how was that not an
incitement to violence i mean can we just get the placard up with the guy, very clearly a guy holding the placard.
Now, I'm sorry, Lucy Connolly is in jail for two and a half years.
That guy, how can you not say that is not an incitement to violence,
June Slater?
Well, you can't.
We know that we're screwed.
We're screwed at the moment.
We've got the worst of the worst in.
And so the only thing you can do, to me, it's like skiing down a slope,
knowing there's an avalanche coming.
You've just got to dodge it as best you can and keep on your skis.
This man is never going to be reasonable.
You know, Tommy Robinson is the epitome of how unreasonable things are.
It's just wrong on every level. I can't believe I witness it in my own country
and to cut, you know, JK Rowling
what's she got, oh god forbid, an opinion
and not only that
if you censor
you know, this censorship
with social media
I think it was Alex Phillips on your show
actually, when she said
or she put it on Twitter
that if we went down this social media route whereby you've said or done something so you
won't get a job we'd have never had the benefits of JK Rowling in her writing and this is where
it's got to stop but to stop you need to you need a government that's going to change everything
you need a different civil service because you, they're the gnats behind it that make sure that everything falls to pieces.
I am sickened by the way this country is and people out demonstrating.
You know, there's people, I spoke to people the other day
with the councillors, there are people in two jobs,
two jobs using a food bank and people in two jobs
who have put their house up for sale because they can't afford the mortgage.
Never been out of work, never done anything wrong. They've not, you know, they've not fallen foul.
They've not they're not addicts, have not done anything. And their lives are being crushed by legislation.
That's like the real life kind of thing. And these idiots, idiots are out protesting over the fact that women are actually women and we can use our own bloody toilets.
I mean, if you thought I have a friend who she transitioned many years ago.
She looks like a woman. She's small made and got bullied as a kid, blah, blah, blah.
You wouldn't know. She just gets on with her life. She never asked for any help.
She's never said anything about the toilets.
She said, well, I'll probably just sneak in because I can get away with it
and I'll use a cubicle.
No one knows.
She's lived like that for over, well, probably 30 years now.
And, you know, there's loads of people like that.
Exactly.
It was chronic overreach.
Absolute disgusting chronic overreach from mentally ill freaks like India Willoughby
and Dylan Mulvaney that destroyed the lives of people like your friend, June Slater. But
unfortunately, there was a need to push back against the insanity when women's safety was
at threat, when rapists were being sent to women's prison, when women were no longer
able to compete in sport, that
overreach from those extremist freaks. And by the way, I'm not even going to show you the videos,
but I have seen so many examples of mentally ill people over the weekend. And the hard left
are actually encouraging these very deranged, mentally ill people to propagate these extremist views. And this is the reason
that society is in such trouble. But June, just before we move on, can I ask you about the Harry
Potter stars? Because I am so furious by the fact that Daniel Radcliffe thinks that he can just
delete his statement and move on from this. it's like you turned on the woman who gave
you everything even though june the reason jk rowling spoke up originally remember was because
she revealed her own sexual assault by a man and daniel radcliffe was so desperate to stay in
with his woke pals in hollywood i just will never get over what he did to her.
Well, these three are basically insignificant.
J.K. Rowling is the catalyst that gave these three anything like a life
in this celebrity circle.
They're of no consequence.
They have very little to offer apart from turning up
and being able to read lines that hopefully somebody writes
for them in the first place.
J.K. Rowling is a talent.
There's a talent to writing.
You can't learn it.
You can only have it.
It's like playing the piano.
It's like playing the guitar.
You've either got that skill factor.
And what have these three people got, actually?
They've been a parasitic life form on the back of her writing.
It was her writing, her stories that brought this to life.
And they're ungrateful.
It's called ingratitude.
We see it all the time. And I don't know what that other blonde bit was.
What's that other stupid programme?
Was it Brigadonus?
Oh, Bridgerton.
Bridgerton, yeah.
Nicola Conflin, exactly, who's throwing all this money
and saying, oh, well, I'm not going to be part of Harry Potter.
I don't think J.K. Rowling had asked you, love.
I think she's going to be absolutely fine without you.
And Dan, Dan, can I say that people like Graham Lynham don't get their lives back?
No.
His life was ruined because of cancellation, because he stuck up for women.
And as you said, it's insane when men are being put, rapists are being put in women's prisons.
We've seen it in America where rapists were actually getting women pregnant in women's prisons. We've seen it in America where rapists were actually getting women pregnant
in women's prisons.
And so it's great that they've passed this legislation.
What's also very scary, aside from these people not getting their lives back
for speaking for women, is the fact that there's a WhatsApp group
that's been talked about in the papers where Labour candidates
have been saying that they're going to ignore the papers, where Labour candidates have been saying
that they're going to ignore the rulings
or fight against this ruling.
And that's also very worrying
when the Supreme Court makes a judgment
that biological women are the only women that exist
and now Labour want to go against that.
That's very worrying.
It's like, you know, Labour want to talk about misogynism. What is this
if it's not misogynism, putting rapists in women's jails, putting men in women's sports? What is this?
And like you said, there's people that have transitioned that maybe you would never,
ever know that, you know, could go in, sneak in, it would be fine. They look, you know, and behave like a woman.
But I've seen the video that you put on Twitter of those, you know,
six foot plus men, very, very aggressive men saying that they don't care
and where they do their business is none of our business.
Actually, yes, it is.
They were extremely aggressive and they are the people
that we don't want in women's spaces
well I wasn't going to play it but given given you've referenced it so I'll just apologize in
advance because there is swearing in it but given you've referenced it I do actually want to show
you because number one I think it shows you how mentally ill these people are but number two it
also shows you exactly the point that they're arguing against.
Watch this video and think if you were a woman or if you were worried about your young daughter entering a toilet,
would you be concerned about being alongside the people in this video who are, let's just be honest, Lani, incredibly aggressive?
Watch this. let's just be honest with you Lani incredibly aggressive watch this where I do my business is none of your fucking business
where I do my business is none of your business
where I do my business is none of your business
where we do our business is none of our business
where we do our business is none of your fucking business
where I do my business is none of your business
our biological sex does not decide what toilets we use, our brain does.
Let adults decide what toilets to fucking go in.
Where we do our business is none of your fucking business.
I mean, June, had you seen that?
It's like that bar off Star Wars.
Sorry.
Look, we don't care where you do your business, but you're not running
that one by us. I wouldn't like to think I had a young girl going in toilets like that with
aggressive people. They're just attention seeking. I mean, come on. Nobody really cares where you do
your business. And wherever you go in public toilets, there's usually a disabled toilet that's neutral anyway.
So you'll always have somewhere to go.
It's just hysterical reactions.
And again, it's cultural Marxism
using minority fringe movements to divide and separate.
And at the end of the day, most normal people
who are trans, genuinely trans, don't go about doing that. trans don't go about doing that they don't go about
attention seeking they've probably been through enough um heartache decision making to go through
the procedures and they just get on with their life nobody has a problem with that but i have a
massive massive problem with men in women's sports because you'll notice there's no trans men going in, there's no trans
women going in men's sports. I've got that the right way around. You only see people who have
an extra physical advantage turning up because they were useless when they entered as men.
And the sports councils and the Olympics committee and all these other sports bodies that are there to safeguard the future of sport.
What are you doing? Just what are you doing, you crackpots?
And if there's that many people that are trans, create a division for it.
Split it into three if there's enough turning up.
I don't understand why it has to be the women that have to make this sacrifice yet again.
We've only been able to get mortgages for about the last 50 years.
We had to wait and be on one with a husband.
We had to wait to get a vote.
We've had to wait, wait, wait for all these features to our lifestyle.
And now we've got here and people are taking it away from us for something that's not even a massive element
in society. I have been completely horrified watching the mainstream media coverage of the
landmark Supreme Court decision, which finally confirmed what sane people have been saying
for years, that biological sex is the only thing that matters in law.
But of course, these people who have been feeding you an untrue narrative have to try and keep going,
have to continue talking about trans rights over women's rights,
and have to quite critically try and make you believe that black is white. So I'm going to take you through
some of the worst offenders, but no one annoyed me more than Shivani Dave, who is a virgin radio
presenter who went into this confrontation with Julia Hartley Brewer on Talk TV, who has been solid on this position since the
start, looking for a confrontation. Julia didn't give her one. And yet again, can I just say,
I think what's great is what we see is that these activists, to be completely honest,
are just mentally ill. I'll get reaction from June Slater and Alani Dowding in just a moment,
but watch what happened in this explosive in-studio bust-up at talk.
It has meaning.
Well, here's the words that have the meaning,
because I've spent time to write these words, right, for you.
And we listened to them.
Frankly, I would rather share a bathroom with 100 trans women
than one legal biological woman who wants to know what's inside my pants.
And, Juliaia if i'm
right in remembering you did ask me what my genitals look like once live on tv i think that
was in the context of a conversation you raised that i remember the quote i remember the quote
you don't have dangly bits do you so do you want to discuss dangly bits or not because
i am now feeling in a position where i'm in a room with you and I feel unsafe.
You feel unsafe? I feel unsafe.
I feel my heart racing.
My hands are starting to sweat.
Do you want to touch my heart?
Oh, my God.
Do you want to find me now?
And I actually think I'm about to have a panic attack
from sitting in a room with you, so I'd like to leave now.
You do? What?
Yeah.
So you're feeling...
You were asked to come on the show to have a conversation.
And I've had a conversation.
We had a very nice...
We've had a conversation.
Well, you read out a statement, and now i'd like to ask you some questions
no no that's me introducing the topic for people who are just tuning in and you added your ad libs
you got to say what you thought about it i've said my piece and now i'd actually i really like
i thought we were actually you actually plugged into a mic there um i thought we were going to
have a conversation i'd like to go you'd like? Okay, I wouldn't want anyone to feel unsafe being asked questions. But I have a funny feeling
that that was what Shivani Daube was planning to do all along. Of course it was, Lulani Dowdy.
It was another stunt by someone who I think is just not all there. And actually someone who the
mainstream media has given a platform for
years to propagate dangerous nonsense, which is putting women at risk.
Absolutely. And this is what they do. They keep platforming these crazy people. And I thought that
as well, before you said it, I was like, oh, she totally plans on doing that the entire time.
I noticed it's kind of when she got stuck a little
bit with her argument didn't really know what to say um and of course you know she didn't uh Julia
Hartley Brewer didn't actually ask what was in her pants she kind of said you don't have an angry
blitz because it's part of the question when you're transitioning isn't it have you unfortunately
done the operation and And it does matter.
Because, June, so many of these people who claim
that they should be using your toilets have a penis.
Like, surely that is relevant to this discussion.
I can't believe she's having a panic attack
talking to Julia Hartley-Brew.
I mean, I get those panic attacks when my gas bill comes.
It's not the Gulf War, love.
You know, you're just sat in a studio.
You're perfectly safe.
The trouble is the drama queens, aren't they?
They've not got much to say, so they have to say rubbish
because at the end of the day, Julia Hartley-Brew is no threat
to that woman sat there.
You don't need to come out with all that.
And now we've got these like soft people
that would never ever survive the previous 50 years
in the conditions that people had to live.
Do you ever see anybody banging on about trans issues
in places where they haven't got any food?
No, I don't see anybody at the food bank saying,
did you see that poor trans person?
But we've seen it with Labour, June.
We've seen it with the Democrats in the US.
They have allowed their own parties to be hijacked by this fringe issue.
And what they have done is given up on the working classes.
And actually, that's, I think, going to be a big part of the reason
why people turn away from these parties for years to come
and also the rest of the mainstream media,
because there are other terrible offenders.
So I want to show you Paul Braden now.
Now, I cannot stand this man.
I'm going to be totally honest with you.
I think he's the most dishonest journalist in the UK
because he's not a journalist at all.
He's an activist.
Remember, this is the guy that drove Boris Johnson from office
but didn't give a damn about Keir Starmer breaking lockdown,
didn't give a damn about Keir Starmer's secret family, doesn't cover any of that. Now he has become
almost like a trans campaigner because he's such a proud member of the LGBT whatever community,
whatever that even means. No, Paul Brand, you're just a gay man trying to be woke to get by in
this world. But what angers me in this particular clip where he's
filling in on lbc of course left wing lbc is the way that he patronizes and plays mental arithmetic
with an honest caller to try and trick them into agreeing with his sick position watch this
having biological men who are dressed as women who said they identify as women
so like they they want they they for they have the right to use female only species that's my
problem has that ever happened though has that ever happened to you joyce well i've not i've
not witnessed it but that was the case i'm gonna blow my top i'm not gonna accept it if they have had
the full reassignment surgery would they be allowed to use your changing room yeah i think
they should be allowed to use female family because under the definition of this ruling
it seems as though they won't be allowed to use your your changing room when it comes to the
practicalities of it that that fear is then preventing someone who's had full gender
reassignment surgery and
may have been living as a woman for for decades just to come into because then she's going to
have to use the men's changing room oh yeah i did i did i did know that i thought that i i i my mind
was just on the the trans women that yeah that say they're a woman but they're not really but
you know they have to say you know they want to identify as a woman that was what my son's focus was on it wasn't on the women that it's complicated it's complicated
oh you patronizing asshole like lalani it's not complicated this is what i've seen from the past
week i've seen people like him in the mainstream media who have tried to trick us for four years
that black is white and that men
can be women try and describe this ruling as complicated when i think it's very very clear
exactly to me it's very clear and he is trying to do a trick there and and it's more for you know
things like jail if a man's you know you know you've got to know what the man is before he goes into a women's jail.
So I think it's really important. And there are so many trans trans people that just wake up one day,
like Leah Thomas and say, right, I identify as a woman and I'm going to play in women's sports.
So let's not overcomplicate it. Maybe if you really do look like a woman because you've done it so well and you don't have the package over there and it's not bulging out,
maybe you do sneak into the women's changing rooms and no one will notice.
But if you come in with a beard and you've got a penis, then that's it.
No, it's simple. It's just as simple as that.
And if you're a man, you don't get to play in women's sports.
If you're a biological man, you don't get to go in a woman's jail. And, you know, if you just happen to look a little bit like a woman, a lot like a woman, then it might be okay. absolutely doesn't who stood in the mirror graham winem posted a video absolutely wanted to make me
throw up rubbing her boobs grafted on bits of plastic in the big brother house no woman does
that no woman does that and imagine that in your changing room imagine that when you're going to
the swing baths and she's just war he's just walking around behaving like that. It's
very uncomfortable. Women don't do that. And that's why this has been put in place for our safety.
June, just before I bring you in, I want to show you another greatest hit from LBC. And this is
when the equally repulsive James O'Brien, who has been playing mental arithmetics on this to try and mislead his audience for years as well,
was incredibly patronising and rude to the brilliant women's rights activist who has done incredible work at great cost to herself for a number of years now, Kelly J. Keane.
Listen to this.
Feel uncomfortable getting changed in the room next to me if it was curtains yeah
which let's face it they never draw properly well you would i think you would if you felt like you
do so why would you feel uncomfortable getting changed in the room next to me or on the other
side of a curtain from me because you're a man but what do you think i'm going to do
we have separate
changing rooms. But why would you feel
uncomfortable getting changed on it?
Let's just talk about this. This is helpful.
You're on the other side of the curtain from me.
What are you worried I might do?
Well, you're a man.
So the same as
any, the risk factor is the same for any
man. Plus, I respect
my own privacy. Well, I respect my own privacy.
Well, I'm respecting your privacy.
That's why the curtains are drawn.
So what are you worried about?
The curtains never close completely, James.
Oh, for Christ's sake. With respect, Kenny, if I was as paranoid about this as you are,
I'd probably hold it shut while trying to undress with one hand.
So what are you...
OK, well, then explain...
June, disgusting gaslighting of women.
I haven't seen many women go about flashing, have you?
I've not seen women up back alleys opening their Mac and going,
hey, little girl, what do you think of this?
No, it's usually men.
Men are far more of a predator where sexual offences are concerned.
And at the end of the day, the law's been brought in as a sensible measure to keep women's spaces safe we've seen a man in Scotland only come out as trans after he knew he
was going to court for a completely different offence who didn't even dress in a dress until
after his court case so that he could end up in a women's jail and Nicola Sturgeon daft enough to allow that to
happen it's a safeguarding measure and at the end of the day I would feel uncomfortable with a man
next to me in a changing room even from a vanity reason I wouldn't want to see any fat belly or
something like that so unfortunately I don't want to be near a man because if I was near another
woman I know she'd understand and I don't want to take the a man because if I was near another woman, I know she'd understand.
And I don't want to take the risk of some of the trouble is the transition.
The trans movement has been hijacked from for some very unscrupulous people.
The decent ones you never see on social media.
But there's some strange people out there who have used the trans situation because it's now more
publicised, to do unscrupulous
things to women.
To peep at them.
And of course,
ask Riley Gaines.
Ask Riley Gaines.
And those swimmers in that
swim team. Beaten by Leah Thomas.
And he was changing in the changing
rooms and looking at them. With his penis swinging out in front of her
like he was getting off on it
exactly
and then in Dear Willoughby as I said
in the Big Brother house
in front of that beautiful lady that you used to have
on your panel at GB News
just rubbing
not the other one
there was another one and she was on Big Brother
blonde, beautiful.
Oh, Ashley James.
Yes.
Rubbing those plastic things.
Just, it was disgusting.
And, but you speak to these women that have been on sports teams
and they've come out and they've said,
these men were staring at them, watching them get changed.
There was no curtain.
So let's just invent a curtain for like James,
whatever his name is, to just gaslight somebody.
Yeah, totally true.
Totally true.
Well, look, I don't know if you view this as good news or bad news,
but despite this ruling, Dylan Mulvaney,
who claims to be a woman, but from everything that I have seen is a man, is now saying that he wants to move to the United Kingdom.
Lilani, watch.
Kind of move here, permanent.
There's something about being here that makes me feel like um the people are i've been so kind and um i just i the
theater culture is amazing and um percy pigs are my favorite so honestly that makes the move worth
can i just say lilani to dylan mulvaney eating percy pigs don't make you british
just like putting on a wig don't make you a woman.
What's that accent at the start? No, absolutely not. Do not come here, please. Anyway, we've had
the ruling. You're not a woman. That's it. Hopefully that puts him off.
But June, we have not heard a word yet from Slippery Starmer. I mean, how can this guy
claim to be prime minister when he has
been so complicated on this issue, so all over the place? He's been on holiday for the past week.
We haven't heard a word. You can run, but you can't hide, mate.
Well, he is a nut job, isn't he? I mean, he thinks he can have a penis he's already said that so as well as that twitter
davy um the thing that gets me with these dylan mulvaney characters is they're all very good at
the wigs and the false nails and the eyelashes uh let me just run through the average woman's day
shall i get up probably before your husband put a packed lunch up make sure you've got the washer on
get the kids games clothes together go to work yourself
probably visit an elderly relative in a care home do the shopping do the ironing do the cleaning
that's being a woman that's what a lot of normal working class women do they're not
fannying around all day wondering what they look like oh oh oh poopy do exactly there's none of
that that has always been the offensiveness of this whole argument.
What makes a woman?
And if you listen to the trans extremists,
what makes a woman is wearing some lipstick or, you know,
wanting to buy designer clothes.
That is so offensive and so undermining.
And thank God this madness is over. But stand, June Slater and Leilani Dowdy.
Breaking right now, Katie Hopkins has weighed in on the growing outrage over the UK's Met Police,
granting another £108,000 to continue the investigation into missing Madeleine McCann
after 18 years, taking the total spent by Scotland Yard to over £13 million, even though she disappeared
in May 2007 while her family were on holiday, not in London, not in the United Kingdom,
but in prior to Lou's Portugal. Katie compared the story to that of Jeffrey Epstein and revealed she
had been banned from writing about the investigation while a columnist at The Sun newspaper.
In other news, Maddy McCann gets another £100,000 to help look for her. Anyone who doesn't get Epstein vibes about this whole thing is way off the mark. When I worked at The Sun for Rupert
Murdoch, I was not allowed to write about Maddy McCann. Hence, I gave them the boot and went and joined Mail Online.
June Slater, Leilani Dowding, join me now.
Now, of course, this case touched the nation, but also divided the nation.
How can the Met Police, Leilani, though, justify pumping in another 13 million pounds an increase of 100 000 pounds year on year
when there are so many missing people who don't get one one thousandth of that
i agree and obviously as you said it was you know shocking it was, you know, shocking. It was upsetting.
But I don't think putting this money in is going to find her. I don't you know, so much has gone into it.
And as you said, there were so many missing children that go missing every day in this country that we don't even hear about.
So I do think it's wrong. You know, obviously, it's very, it's tragic when any child goes missing.
I think I was a bit too young to really know about it at the time. But I do remember it happening. But you know, I just, I just don't think it's the right move.
Yeah, I mean, God, I remember it so clearly, June, because I had just started work at the
News of the World newspaper. And it was the biggest story in town.
And it was the biggest story in town for months and months and months. And of course, part of that
was because of the fact that the parents, Kate and Jerry McCann, had left the children,
gone to dinner at this tapas restaurant, then were accused of being involved by the Portuguese
police, which they fought back
very, very strongly against. And as a result, everyone had an opinion and they either had an
opinion on the morality of would you have left your children in the way that the McCann's did,
or they had an opinion on their potential guilt or innocence. But at some point, June Slater, does the time come where you just have to say enough?
We have to prioritise the terrible, shocking crimes taking place on a daily basis in the
United Kingdom that are left unsolved. Well, I agree with that because it is tragic what's happened for all concerned, depending on your viewpoint.
I don't understand the logic behind this.
I'm picking up on something Katie said when she worked at the,
I think she said, Sun.
The Sun, yeah.
Because the Sun were always very pro the McCanns, you see.
I think that's what she's getting at.
I've never understood why the family got so much publicity.
Is it because they were well-connected or they had people in the right places
because they were middle-class doctors rather than just ordinary working-class people?
I don't know why it got repeated attention.
I can remember we were going skiing once and there was a little girl in front of me
in someone's arms, that's how long ago it was, and she looked round at me and she had a funny eye you know like madeline's and everything oh
my god is that that child uh so it was very much in everyone's mind then and there was no real
social media back then and you know we've gone from that where it's been very relevant to publicise it to how old will she be now? She'll be adult
if
she's survived. Chances are
she hasn't. I don't like to say that
out loud but there comes a time
to draw a line under things and
we're permanently told we haven't
got the resources for this, that and the other
and the police
seem to shell out where this
is concerned. I don't understand it.
Didn't Katie say she's getting Epstein vibes about it?
Yeah, what did you make of her saying that, June,
that there's a cover-up?
Do you think that's what she's implying?
I don't know what, I mean, I've no idea.
What could it possibly be?
I mean, if it's a cover-up because of important people involved,
they'd have been better off picking a kid that's not so high profile.
So it doesn't kind of correlate.
But I just don't understand that more money is being put into this,
unless there's been some mistakes made that they feel, giving it this extra push would cover up i've no
idea i'm completely clueless maybe there's some ex-coppers can come on the thread and
chip their 10 pen a thing and tell us what they think i mean lalani obviously look you you you
look at all of the theories over the years i mean mean, this Sun front page from 2008, I think it was, a stranger told a store cashier in Amsterdam, my name is Maddie and she's not my mummy.
So you could think there are certain reasons why there has been hope.
But do you agree with Katie Hopkins that there are Epstein vibes when
it comes to the Maddie McCann case? You know, when she said that, I wasn't sure what she meant.
I wasn't sure if she meant a cover up or like some kind of pedophilia, you know, because
there's been rumours circulating about Ring taking him. But I just, you know I I wasn't really sure what to make of that um and
unfortunately if she did mean a pedo ring then that's something that does happen to children
you know it's absolutely horrific um but again going back to the original thing I just don't
know that throwing more money is going to help when there's kids literally
missing now that could be being trafficked or if that's what she meant if it was a trafficking
situation but i really um i wasn't 100 sure um what she was trying to say but you know i think
putting that money towards looking at and preventing trafficking rings happening now would be a much better way to
spend that money. I mean, what's interesting to me is that some British newspapers did try to go
down the path of looking at any potential involvement of the McCanns in the disappearance
of their daughter. And there was genuine and significant consequences for having done so
so the most famous example was the daily express which in 2008 published a front page apology to
kate and jerry mccann that is just extraordinary like that didn't happen this is before the phone
hacking scandal and all of that and it it read, The Daily Express today takes the unprecedented step
of making a front-page apology to Kate and Jerry McCann.
We do so because we accept that a number of articles
in the newspaper have suggested that the couple
caused the death of their missing daughter, Madeline,
and then covered it up.
We acknowledge that there is no evidence whatsoever
to support this theory,
and that Kate and Jerry are completely innocent of any
involvement in their daughter's disappearance. We trust that the suspicion that has clouded their
lives for many months will soon be lifted. As an expression of its regret, the Daily Express has
now paid a very substantial sum into the Madeline Fund and we promise to do all in our power to help efforts to find her. Kate and Jerry,
we are truly sorry to have added to your distress. We assure you that we hope Madeline will one day
be found alive and well and will be restored to her loving family. So is it not possible,
June Slate, that the reason that the Sun newspaper told Katie Hopkins that she couldn't write about this case is because they feared
that type of lawsuit, that type of settlement from the McCanns?
Quite possibly.
I mean, at the end of the day, this was a while ago
when you didn't have, you know, the clickbait.
Maybe the Express jumped the gun looking for, you know, a big story
and they were dealing with a family who were well off enough to
threaten them with something. You know, the sad thing again,
most working class people couldn't have that clout.
They wouldn't have that clout.
I think I read somewhere that Gerry and Kate McCann were quite, you know,
well connected with barristers and different people. So they weren't dealing with an ordinary couple,
they were dealing with someone who could push back.
Maybe it's just that, who knows?
It's a real strange setup to me that it's gone on so long.
It's over a decade.
How long is it going to go on?
There are some of those cases though june that i just think
they capture the fascination of a nation and for good and ill kate and jerry used that fascination
to raise a huge amount of money for the search by the way not for their own lives but as a result
there was publicity that came from that. And the example that I would use
that as comparable in the US is the death of JonBenet Ramsey, which to this day remains pretty
unresolved. And the parents, one of whom is dead, have been accused at various points. And these
types of stories where there isn't a clear answer do seem to run on in this way.
Of course, we await to see if Christian B., who is the German suspect in the investigation, does ever confess or provide any understanding about whether he was involved.
But look, do stand by.
You are going to want to stick around because in one minute, Megyn Kelly, who is just one of my favourite people and hilarious,
has provided the most cutting satire when it comes to With Love, Megyn,
the fake Duchess's Netflix show than anything else I've seen over a number of months.
It really is worth sticking around.
We're going to watch the highlights in just one minute.
But first, you know how often I talk about the need for free speech to be protected,
and I've been increasingly thinking of the need for personal protection from snoopers,
bad actors, and hackers online, and I'm delighted to tell you I've now found the fail-safe solution.

Meghan Markle's international humiliation over revealing her truly spiky and awkward relationships with her so-called friends, I would say paid help on the Netflix flop with Love, Meghan,
continue to reverberate. And now, the brilliant Megan Kelly, good friend of mine,
such a wonderful woman, but also so sharp when it comes to human nature and satire,
has teamed up with Maureen Callaghan of the new MK podcast, The Nerve, to provide their own
cutting version of With Love Megan. But see what she did here it's with love megan with a
yn not an han that provides razor sharp social commentary on the fake duchess and her real
motives i'll get analysis with my superstar panel june slater and alani dowding in just
one moment as we watch the highlights together.
Zoom in.
Welcome, everyone.
I am so excited to share this day with you.
Just like in a dream.
With my good friend who's coming over.
I love friendship, and I decided to elevate my day and yours by having Maureen come over so that everyone
can really love me and see the real me, Em, as I am at home in my actual kitchen.
She's here.
Oh my God.
Hi.
Hi.
You look amazing.
You look even better.
It's so good to see you.
I'm so happy to see you.
I'm so happy to see you. Hi! Hi! You look amazing! Oh, you look even better!
Oh, it's so good to see you!
Thank you so much for having me to your beautiful, incredible kitchen.
This whole thing?
I'm so glad to be renewing our lifelong friendship.
Me too.
I haven't heard from you in forever.
I wondered what happened.
You know the kids.
Did I do something?
No, stop.
By the way, I love your Luke.
Sorry, what's that?
Your Luke.
You look amazing.
Your Luke.
My Luke.
My Luke.
My Luke.
She likes my Luke.
Oh, my God.
Lalani, what I'm just loving is the way that there's this undercurrent
of constant terror from whoever Meghan Markle's friend was,
because that's what I really picked up in the show.
Like, they're all so scared of this woman.
Totally.
And I've only seen clips of the show.
And as you say, they look terrified and they're like,
oh, what am I meant to say here?
They're all stepping on eggshells. But the spoofs that come out and the parodies are absolutely hysterical and
I love Meghan's what is it's fantastic I'm a little concerned because she has chickens and
she's making fun of you know the chickens and I have chickens and I've actually called one Meghan
after Meghan Kelly not Meghan Markle little fluffy head blonde one um but
I absolutely love it she always cracks me up she's funny and uh yeah keep them coming I just
love the parodies and the spoofs they're hilarious okay well June before I get you
away and let's have a watch of a little more there for about two minutes.
And let the good times roll.
Yeah, so I'm a founder now.
My company's called As Ever.
Products that you can't get anywhere else, like jam.
Jam?
Yeah.
Jam?
No kidding.
There's a huge market.
Huge.
I never saw you as really a jam person.
But we know each other so well. I mean, that's what I mean.
Like, we know each other so well, and it still just takes me by surprise.
That's what I mean.
It's almost done.
Only 32 seconds more.
Okay, the moment of truth.
Still humming.
Oh, my God.
You did it.
We're going to put it in one of these special cellophane bags
because what is a fancy food staple if it doesn't get put in a fancy bag we're just gonna dump it
in there because june june that's the thing about with love me Wright. She's not good at this whole homemaking shtick.
Like the thing about Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart,
you can say, oh, they're bitchy women or they're difficult women or whatever,
but they are damn good at running the household.
So you want to learn from them.
Whereas Megan's ideas are just really lame.
Well, sorry, but when I seegan sparkle in the kitchen i keep thinking
of that scene from fatal attraction with glenn clausen the bunny in the pond i just see it as
a bit deranged you know oh really like me i want you to like me so much my eyes aren't in the smile help she scares me a bit actually oh yeah she scares me
too she scares me too and actually in this next clip you really pick up that energy from megan
kelly who does such a good job playing megan markle watch important is to make sure that
there's a bow on everything we're're just going to have to do a little cutting
and make sure that it looks absolutely perfect.
I really like to cut my ribbons in a diagonal
because I'm not a barbarian.
And I really recommend that you do it too.
And by the way, I really hope you're noticing
all these beautiful fine finishes I'm doing
on your special gift basket.
I'm not done.
I have some more little baggies, and that's because I have more little treats for you.
Yeah.
And it keeps going. Watch, watch.
It's important.
Where are you getting all these, like, mini brainstorms?
I'm so impressed by this.
You have to be a founder to really? I'm so impressed by this.
You have to be a founder to really understand it fully.
But maybe in the next wave of our friendship, I'll try to explain it to you.
Hold that tight, please.
Okay.
Now we're going to use a different color ribbon because we want everything to feel special in its place.
And how do we cut the ribbon, Maureen?
On an angle.
There we go.
It's just so fun sharing my love language with my friends yes yes i mean this is what friendship is all about really this
special time of bonding and me asking you lots of questions about yourself right because you really
come alive when you talk about yourself isn't that so true like the only time megan markle is happy is when
she's talking about megan markle and all the friends are just there to help megan markle
talk more about megan markle absolutely i just wonder if she gets hands her friends a list of
saying like somehow drop this in like ask me about my surname or, you know, talk about how creative I am and my brilliance.
And she's doing the most stupid, basic things.
And no fun.
It's interesting.
No fun though, June.
Like there is nothing fun about her interaction with her friends.
Like surely when you look at these celebrities, you want to be part of that gang.
When I look at Meghan Markle and her gang,
I think they don't eat much, they don't have much fun,
and they're sort of really bitchy about each other.
Well, she's going to do a tutorial
and she's going to have to open the fridge door
because she's never bloody opened one properly.
I mean, the thing is, these people are so short of content
to share with people about anything.
They have to pretend to have their friends around.
And, I mean, that kitchen table, if you saw my kitchen table when I'm cooking,
it's covered in food.
Things we're going to eat and drink.
And I set my table nicely.
And I don't need to talk to my friends to get pulled up.
Well, usually I get them drunk so that if the food's a bit naff,
they don't remember.
But I can't even believe that there's any fun going on in that household.
No, definitely not.
I mean, everything must have a clapperboard attached to it.
And I've got to say that Megan Kelly's friend does a great job
of being one of Megan Markle's friends.
Like the kind of like, oh, I'm stuck here.
What do I do?
Trapped, her eyes are like looking around, trapped in this body like this.
But, you know, it's so funny.
And it kind of, that's the subtext for me.
Everything that she's doing there is the subtext of what's going on.
That's what I love.
This was so clever, actually.
And the last little part I want to show you, which sort of wrapped up the episode,
was when Megyn Kelly is speaking about her own
husband doug or she calls him d because we know megan markle only refers to harry as h and she's
not talking about her own marriage because like her and doug are super happy she's trying to
explain the real dynamic in the marriage between megan and harry i don't know if we're supposed to maybe mention your marriage,
which seems like the love story of all love stories, really.
My husband, Dee, he gets me.
He isn't exactly what I thought he was.
I mean, I was told there'd be a big castle.
You know, it's fine.
I can make you in this place.
But it's fine.
What's important is love.
Right, the most important thing.
And friendship.
Yes.
Friendship.
Yes, yes.
Where would we be without our friends?
And I have my pretzels as yet another token
of the high esteem in which you hold me
it's super high great okay could not be higher
oh so funny and lalani look i've actually found so this is this is how a real a real woman does
this stuff right lalani i found this video of you from earlier today.
With what on earth is going on?
You've got a chicken in the bathroom.
She, oh God.
I didn't expect that to be my Easter Monday.
I went out, my hen had a dirty bottom.
So I was like, well, I've got to clean her bottom. And I thought I'd like well I've got to clean her bottom and I thought I'd do I've
got a YouTube that does it's about the small holding I have and it's about the messy jobs
it's not the glamorous jobs it's the friends and there was no makeup on um and I didn't want her
to get fly strike or making sure she didn't have red mites or anything so I have to check and wash her in my um bathroom
and you just know that's the stuff that Meghan Markle is not doing she ain't washing her
chickens bums in the kitchen is she no not a chance I mean I did actually see on um Leilani's
thread when she was washing her chickens bum in the kitchen sink once and someone who's a massive
fan of Billy Duffy said
oh my god I've seen it all
now that's the thing that Billy
Duffy will tip his empty coffee
coffee cup in
he's really put out about it
oh genius genius
thank you so much
you two absolutely brilliant superstar
panel this Easter Monday.
Make sure you follow Leilani Dowding on X.
She doesn't just do chicken action, okay?
There's lots of amazing social commentary too.
And plus, at some point, Leilani,
we're going to have to talk all about our cruise, aren't we?
We haven't even got around to that today because Leilani and I last week,
was it last week?
No, the week before last, we're on board the incredible Mark Stein cruise,
but we'll talk about that when we have some footage from that. And of course, June Slater
can be found on Facebook X, but I recommend you sign up to her YouTube channel where you can check
out her full exclusive sit down with Nigel Farage so thank you so much to both of you
and happy Easter thank you so much for being here too by the way lots of comments coming in today
Alex wrote this is an interesting take Farage is honestly more dangerous than Starmer because
Farage is the one tearing apart our only hope.
Jenny Chilton said, don't like the tack.
Rupert's only been in politics for six months.
That's one of the things I like about Rupert.
Mr. Roar wrote, once Generick, referring to Robert Generick, becomes leader of the Conservatives, it's game over for Reform UK.
But Maria Billings wrote, the only option is reform.
If we vote for a different party, we'll split the vote against the Socialist Party and they'll win again. I want Rupert to form the Patriots Party. So that's a good idea too. So brilliant feedback today. Your nominee is India Willoughby, nominated by JHP for his disgusting tweet about Sarah Everard.
And of course, India Willoughby wrote, I'll tell you who would have loved the new Prove You're a Woman ruling from the UK Supreme Court.
Wayne Cousins, the policeman who murdered Sarah Everard.
Just so gross.
Chris Bryant, nominated by Therm CQ 1986.
And that's because him and other Labour MPs are intending to ignore biological reality via a leaked WhatsApp.
And Rory Stewart, nominated by DrWolf333 for being wrong on literally anything, most notably the US election, where he predicted Trump would be wiped out.
And the results in third place with 18% Chris Bryant.
The runner up with 32% of the vote, Rory Stewart. But today's Union jackass for those deranged tweets over the weekend, India Willoughby. Greatest Britain time, and this was a brilliant
nomination from Fat Faye on Easter Monday. Father Calvin Robinson for being fundamental in pushing christianity and i actually did see father c had posted earlier
today his thoughts because he was never he was never a big fan let's put it that way of uh
pope francis and he did give some thoughts earlier today about what he wants to happen and and he wrote credit where it is due
pope francis cared about the corporal works of mercy let us pray for a pope who cares equally
about the spiritual works of mercy a good traditionalist post could return many souls
to the catholic church move away from modernity and back towards sound teaching.
And we will know in about four weeks' time, actually, because the funeral has to happen first,
there's the state of mourning period, and then the conclave,
which was just the subject of that Oscar-nominated movie, takes place.
We're not going anywhere today, though,
