I can look at her picture and feel totally broken.
They are the families of the missing in America.
I was a nine-year-old kid.
She disappeared seven days after my birthday.
Sounds like a movie.
Not real life.
All of them waiting for their loved ones to come home.
I tried to call him.
I couldn't get in contact with him.
I remember my dad sitting by the phone, weeping, just waiting on it to ring.
They're urgently hoping for.
some answers. Right now, family members are continuing on with their own search. Anything come of
any of those searches that point you in any particular direction? No, the only direction those
searches point us into is foul play. Each episode of Dateline's award-winning series Missing in America
tells the story of one missing person, in depth, through the voices of their families, their friends,
and the investigators all desperate to find them.
We ended up reaching out to see if we can get ground penetrating radar.
I use a lot of four-letter words, but quit and stop is not one of them.

I think trying to get the public come back to remember that day could break it open.
