In which our heroes once more over commit, burn the candle at both ends and promise too much as we launch another new show: D&D is for Nerds. A show where we sit around a table, pretend to be different people, roll dice and play some good old fashioned Dungeons and Dragons. In this promo, we introduce Adam, our DM, who won’t let the rest of us have any fun. Sands Pants Radio, And you just said yes. I don't know. Guys, you completely lost me. What the hell is D&D? It's just like you just be whatever you want. It's Dungeons and Dragons. Oh, the nerd thing? Yeah, the nerd thing. Oh. Yeah, I guess. That's what you want to do.

Yeah, and you can be whatever you like. You just enter a fantasy world using your imagination. You can be like a gorilla, like 10 cats in a coat, like an old-timey barrel full of whiskey. Exactly, old-timey barrel full of whiskey. What's the fight, everyone? I can be anything I want. Literally anything you want.

Can I be a bear? Sure, please, actually, please be a bear. All right, I'm going to be a bear. And you know what, like, Sam, if you're super interested, I know a guy. Adam, good friend of mine, Adam, I brought him in, actually. Oh, hey. Surprise. Hey, Adam. Hi. And, you know, he'd love to. like Sam if you're super interested I know a guy yeah Adam good friend of mine Adam I brought him in actually surprise hey Adam hi

and you know he'd love to can we just like pitch our character ideas at you Adam you can tell us what you think yeah no sure so the way I usually like to do this

is just imagine like if you have any contact with fantasy like Lord of the Rings or a video game you're like just imagine a character from that

and I'll help you make the character okay so I want to be like you got grapes, like you know grapes. Yeah. Put them in a sock, and you just smack it on a table. Smack it on a table. I want to be that.

Now, Jackson mentioned 10 cats wearing a coat, but also a barrel of whiskey. So I want to be that, but that's also good at fighting. That is very old. Yeah, can a bear learn archery? Is that good? How good would that be? Can we do that? No.

No. You can't do any of that. Oh. We're going to do D&D. We're going to do it proper, and you're not going to have fun. I'll see you Sunday. Oh. No bear.
