Hey guys, welcome back. You're listening to your favorite podcast, de-influenced. Nice job, fam. You guys, today I have my mother. Hey there. And my brother. Landon. Wait, you're not going to say your name, Tornado?

My name is Tornado. My name is Tornado. What is your real name? My real name is Anna Marie. I thought it was Annette. No, it's Anna Marie, but oh, that's a good point. To be fair, I've only known you as mom. my whole life. Well, that's true. Let's just call her mom and move on.

Thanks, Mom. Anyway, you guys, this is a family affair. Can you imagine if we had dad on the episode? He could not handle that. He couldn't handle it. He would say so many things. So many things. He would say so many inappropriate things. No, he would just try to be funny. He would try to be funny. He'll try to be funny. And then all of a sudden it comes out a little strange. So yeah, this is my mom and my brother. I want you guys to kind of introduce yourselves, tell a little bit about who you are and what you do in this life. Oh my gosh.

Mom, you go first. Well, I'm a mom and a grandmother. But what do I do in this life? You know, this is really interesting at this stage of the game because I was used to being mom taking care of kids. And now I don't take care of anybody. Except for dad. Well, that's true. That's a full-time job.

That's a job. That is totally true. You notice mom's voice right now is so raspy. What are you even doing? I will. I was working in the yard. And so I think my seasonal allergies are kicked in. Grown, digging it, grow.

You're so hoarse or something. What's going on? This happens to me every time because I love to be outside and my seasonal allergies at my personal allergies at picked in. So it caught me at a good time because it sounds kind of sexy. I think I'm allergic to nature. I think that's from you. Like grass, touch it immediately.

You're also allergic to the. the sun. Well, oh my gosh. Seriously, you're allergic to the sun. You know, we're Hispanic and I'm like pasty and I don't tan. I burn. What's that about? We have pink undertones. What's that about? That's why I think I'm adopted. I genuinely believe that. Do you remember that one time? We should tell that story. We should. We'll get into that in a second. But first of all, I want you to kind of tell people who you are. Yeah, I am land in Austin. I was here first, just for the record. Not only on this planet, but I was here first. I'm a musician. I produce music, write songs.

I also do like real estate investing. And I live in Nashville and that's it. Yeah. You missed your key characteristic. I'm a Leo? No. Griffin door? No.

You're single. Oh yeah, I'm single. I don't let that define me. We got to put that off there on the internet. That's my branding. You're like, I'll be out at a restaurant and I'm like, you're Danny's single brother. I'm like, I have a name. That's your first adjective.

Yeah. If I'm like on a date, it's shocking. Yeah. No, we, so you guys probably know Landon for the Matchmaker. We did Matchmaker on Instagram where I stepped in and tried to find my brother a date or a girlfriend slash a sister-in-law for myself. Yeah. So we've done two seasons and you've ended up with some pretty incredible woman.

Yeah, yeah. I think both times were great. And what happened? Do we have to talk about it right now? What happened, Lennon? I mean, you have to give your sister credit, man. She has gone out of pick them. It was awesome.

I'm very thankful. and I met some great girls that way and had a nice relationship for a minute and didn't work out. And now you're single again. Back on the hinge. I heard that you went on a date last night and you have another date tonight. Is that true? I did go on a date last night. I don't.

I'm taking tonight off. Are you lying? No, I really don't. Well, wait. No, I do. I don't do. I'm sorry. It's lonely here.

Landon. Can you just hang out with your family? No, I have. I have during the day. Spend time with the fam. Nighttime. I go do things. Mom, what do you think?

about this. He comes home and he just uses you as a hotel. I do not. And he just goes out with all these women on the town. You know personally, I think his problem is he's driving my car on those dates. Yeah, you need a six of your car because it's not working. What are you doing? In Accura. It's pretty nice. I know. I think it's a nice car. It kind of looks like a mommy car. Not sporty enough, but hey, if she's going after you for your car, then, you know, she needs to probably move on. She's on, yeah. The actor's not helping. But actually, Landon, you do. You know what?

You're starting to remind me a lot of your aunt. You know. So random. No. I love my aunt. Well, I know you love your aunt. But you know, your aunt didn't get. She's my anti-hero.

She didn't get married until she was 50 years old. And honestly, the running joke with her used to be like when she would date somebody, he would be like from Fort Worth or from some other town outside of Dallas because she had already gone through every guy in Dallas. That is so you, Leon. No, it is. I feel like it is. No, it is not. Especially in Nashville, there's so many single girls.

Yeah. The craziest thing about Nashville is all of the bachelor's parties. It's like you have your pick of the litter and they're from all over the country. Can I explain? I'm very slow moving. I've only gone on like three or four days since my breakup. My run. Yeah, you're pretty slow.

No, I run a 530 mile in high school. I'm pretty fast. It was 20 years ago. Yeah, but no, it was not. More reason that. But the point being, I don't move very quickly. I don't ask someone out unless I'm into them. And so I've gone out with like three or four.

girl since my breakup. Yeah, no. I know. We're just roasting you. You know that. Hey, you know what? Landon's got some pretty good game. I've seen him sort of interact with. When I'm driving my car, yes. The Accra? Not so much. Hey, that's nice that you had a car. When I started dating Jordan, he didn't even have a car. Oh yeah. But you know why? Because I look for what's on the inside. Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure. I always say it's pretty baller to Uber to your dates house and be like, jump in the Uber girl. We're going to Uber somewhere else. That's kind of a good mood. No, no, it was, hey, can you come pick me up? I was like, or that we drove those little like clown cars all over Austin, you know, those little ones that car that you rent.

Yeah. And we'd be like dressed up, you know, in my nice dress and my heels and he'd pick me up in a little clown car and we get on the highway. And it was pretty scary. So anyway, you guys know we call my mom Tornado. That was actually a nickname that you probably picked up about three or four years ago. Yeah. We kind of always called you Tornado growing up. Why do we call you Tornado?

Well, honestly, when you first called me Tornado was kind of a little. offended. Yeah, she didn't like it at first. I thought I was like, wait, tornadoes, they cause destruction. I don't cause destruction. But yeah, I get it now. And rightfully so, because I've always been one of those that has a lot of energy. The truth. You want to know the truth? The reason we called a tornado is because during a tornado, she got her tooth knocked out and never got it fit. Show the people what we're working with. But can I take it out? You can take it out. So my mom. Oh, this is so much better. Smile.

I love it. So for those of y'all that can't see, my mom just took out her tooth. Here's a fun fact about all of us, though. So we were born without our bicuspids, right? No, no, it's lateral. Laterals, that's right. But yours was a bicuspid. I don't know.

Long story short, we are vampires. We were born without our laterals. Lannin is missing two. My mom is missing two, and then I'm just missing one. So we all have implants. Oh, girl. And so my mom recently lost her baby. tooth and now she's waiting to get the implant because you have to probably do the bone graft and

everything. I did the bone graft. I did the implant. Now it's healing. I hope you stop at this point of the process because this has become part of your identity. The missing tooth is tornado. See, that's so funny that you said that because I, that is part of my identity because I went through this whenever I was in high school, which is like a key time for girls to gain their confidence. And I think that's like contributed to like I still look in the mirror and I still see myself as that gal. I still look at you as a toothless creature. I just feel like it sort of built your character. Because you were definitely humbled by that.

Laining, you wore braces all through your high school. I had braces until I got to college. That's how bad it was. First day of senior year, orthodontics is like, yo, you quit growing. Thanks for that. And then he's like, you're getting braces one more time. I'm like, dang it. Yeah, how did that work with the ladies?

Not too well. I'll say this. I didn't have braces junior year. I did okay that year. But the rest of the time, it was terrible. So you had braces in college, your freshman year. Yeah. Well, I got them off like August of my freshman year of college.

So I was like barely. That's so brutal. You guys were going through humility and we were going broke because all the things we had to do for you guys. Yeah. Implants and braces and all kinds of stuff. It ain't cheap. No, it ain't cheap. Yeah.

So let's talk more about our family dynamic. So Land and I are five years apart, sometimes four years apart. That was planned. Was it? Oh, absolutely. Like in my brain, the way I thought. was like, okay, I'm going to have my first baby and I want to have, I want to spend every waking moment with him or, you know, she or he. And so Landon was born and I got to spend so much time with

him. The good old days. Yeah, the great old days. You were such a good baby. Excuse me. You know what's crazy. Okay, wait, but I'm just, you know. I think I need a psychologist to chime in on this because I have no memory of mom being pregnant, no memory of Dany being born or Dany under the age of four. It's completely blacked out. Trauma. That's because you're We're so self-centered. Wow. Love it, Mom. Okay.

Thank you, Mom. Yeah, well, so anyway, so yeah, so then I decided that after Lanna was almost five, I ended up having Danny. And so it was really so nice to have you guys. Just things really took the 180 and just got so much better. It kind of backfired in a little way because you guys did not, you were always in two different stages of life. One was going, when you were going to college, Danny was just getting into high school.

We really didn't meet until you're about eight, I would say. We crossed like, oh, that's who lives in that room. No, we shared a bathroom. Yeah, well, you locked me out all the time because it was one of those brutal. Yeah, you know, speaking of which, like, what? Mom, what would we like as kids? Because we were so, our age difference was, you know, five years apart. But, like, when I think of my childhood, I think of playing in the pool, Nintendo 64,

video games, fruit roll-ups. Oh, yeah, I remember those days. But as far as, like, how we were as children, like, what would we like as kids? Well, honestly, you guys were so different in a lot of ways, but then a lot of like. But Landon was the most chill baby and child that you could imagine. I mean, this kid was a dream child. As a matter of fact, I used to remember my friends saying, oh, my gosh, this is just so hard. And I go, really?

Like, I kept thinking they were wimps because you were just, you were just the best baby. You know what? I used to be able to take you. When you were eight months old, I could take you to a movie, and you would sit in my lap and watch the whole movie. I've always been a big fan of film. I just said. I started you young.

You started playing your guitar at 10, and you used to hang out in your room. You love Nintendo. You love Legos. You were very... You were very... You're talking like when I was eight. And when I got to high school, I just played guitar all the time, didn't go to party, stayed home.

World of Warcraft. No, I did not. Yes, you did. Oh, my gosh. Lian. Oh my gosh. They're making that up. That is a lie.

What is your favorite thing to do? What? Well, divorce. I've literally never even, I know. You're literally lying on this podcast right now. You're lying. Okay, wait a minute. Okay, he loved Mario Kart and Mario Brooks.

Yeah, it's only he was 18. You're talking like, oh, no, I was nine. When I got to high school, it was literally just to play guitar and watch John Mayer. That's all I did. That's true. Mom bought me a 50 CD changer. I would just listen to CDs and play guitar. That's true.

That's true. But you know what? I used to force him to go to parties because he was. So non-social. You really were not. Go drink that alcohol. Go do it. I never said that.

You didn't drink, did you? No, I literally didn't drink. Yeah, I didn't think so. I didn't drink until I was like 22. Why? Because, you know, I just wasn't interested. I just wanted to play guitar. Yeah, he just, you know.

You know? I don't really know. Is it because I put the fear in you? No, I wasn't scared. I just, I don't know. I just wasn't interested in that. Yeah. Yeah.

I don't think either one of you were, Danny. Well, well, let's back this up. And then there was me. Before Mom explains Danny's history. So I play guitar in my room. It was very chill. I was about four years older. And then Danny gets what's called an MIP.

There's an M-I-C. Well, it doesn't matter. That's when you're drinking underage and the police catch you and you go to jail. You don't go to jail. You went to jail. You went to jail in sixth grade. You spent a night in the clink. You spent a night in the cling when you were in sixth grade.

I remember it was the first day of like fourth grade for me. And we get a phone call at midnight. Landon's being arrested. I said, so here's the thing. You know, my kids, I think you guys were pretty good. I mean, growing up. You did have your moments, Danny. Yes, you did get an, am I?

Yeah, wait a say. You hadn't even talked about me yet. Okay, let's go back now. Hello, reminder. Okay, let's talk about what Danny was like. Okay, let's talk about the dark ages when Danny's born. Let's say what happened there? Well, first of all, it was not the dark ages because I knew that I wanted, I had my boy,

and I just thought, hey, I need my girl now. And so I got really, really lucky. God was good. And I was a little different. I mean, Landa liked to play it safe. I like to live life on the edge. You know?

Danny was... Like, I would sneak out and I would go hang out with the potheads, but I wouldn't smoke. You know what I mean? You hung out with potheads? Oh, yeah.

That explains so much. Yeah, like, so I would just teeter with danger, but I wouldn't actually dive into the danger. She was, okay, the best way to describe it,

you were Stella. And what I mean by that, she was independent. she was strong-willed. She was energetic. And, oh, my gosh, she was so adorable. She had the biggest green eyes. I'll never forget.

I know, you still are adorable. I remember none of this. None of it. Again, because you were selfish. Oh, what? Okay, Tordiatooth's mom. No, anyway. You know, one thing about Danny, too,

you know, Landon was a home body. Danny was that girl that had FOMO, is that what you call it? Yeah, so do. She did not want to be left out of anything. And she was also kind of a floater. Like you had different groups of friends. Like you had your athletic friends,

you had your party girl friends. I had my pot head friend. I never knew anybody that's, really? Who were they? What's talking about it? Okay, yeah, yeah, don't mention them. So anyway, so Danny always liked to be a part of everything. She loved the excitement.

You really weren't. that into boys. I mean, you had a lot of guy friends. Yeah, except for the Jonas brothers in Backstree Boys. Well, yeah, yeah, those were your celebrity. Leo Nardo DiCaprio. Right, but I'm talking about boys in school. Yeah. Yeah, you were not, you were always like athletic and you were really good at sports, honestly. You were, D&E played every sport, always made the A teams, top teams. She was always great at anything that she undertook. And yeah, yeah, you were good at school. And, and, you were good at school. And, and, you were, And you used to...

The moms used to call you because I would have friends over and force them to organize my closet. Oh, yeah, that's where we were going. Well, when she was little, she would invite her friends over. You were probably, what, seven, eight? And I would hear her in her room and she'd go, do you want to help me organize my shelves? And your friends would look at you and go, no.

And there you were, but you always wanted to have a project going. Kind of sounds like somebody I know. Yeah. I mean, I don't know, just resourceful. Yeah, you were very resourceful. I was like, if we're going to hang out, like, let's do something that actually matters. Deany, you were, like, you were an achiever. You loved to participate.

You got involved in everything at school, and you were never afraid to try anything. That's one thing I loved about you. Love that. Speaking of trying something. Yeah. Landon, tell us about the first YouTube video that you ever made when, and like, why? Why did you get on the internet? I have my own theory.

You have a theory? Well, so I do. So just coming from someone else, like Landon really was a homebody. You spent the majority of your high school career in your bedroom, playing guitar, playing World of Warcraft, Minecraft, like those type of things. It didn't even exist back then. So then I remember walking by your door one day and you're talking to people. And I'm like, you know, this is the four Zoom calls or, I mean, AOL is probably like the hottest thing at the time.

I don't know if AOL was still. Hey, wasn't my space around then? Maybe my space. And so I'm hearing and I talk to these people and I'm like, that's so weird. I know he only has two friends. Okay. So like that's so strange. Like, who could he be talking to?

And so I open up the door and I see that you are making YouTube videos, filming yourself. And this was a long time. What year was this like, oh, eight? 2007. So this is a long time ago. Put it into perspective, I started my channel when it was 2012. Yep. So this is 2007.

What, I mean, what year did YouTube come out? 2005. 2005. So it'd been around for two years, okay? And Landon's out there making YouTube videos. What, like, how did you learn about YouTube? Who were you talking to? Did you actually have friends, like, through the end?

I'm genuinely curious. So I would watch a lot of John Mayer videos, watch him play guitar. I'd watch it on YouTube. And I was like, I can do this. So I just, like, John Mayer was on VH1. He was covering this song by Nelly Furtata to the lyrics of Chocolate Rain. Remember Chocolate Rant? No, Choletade.

So I covered his cover of Choir of Choir. chocolate rain. I put it on YouTube, but I hid my face, and it blew up because people thought I was John Mayer, and it got like 800,000 views the first night. And back in 2007, that was an absurd amount of views. I mean, I was on the front page of YouTube, and there was only five videos, so it blew up. And so I got a bunch of followers. And then I went to college, and I always remembered YouTube, but when I graduated, I studied business and finance and hated selling insurance, so I started vallying cars at the Gaylord in Nashville. It's a hotel. And I would come home every night and watch these people make YouTube videos, musicians or whatever, and I was like,

I can do that. So I made my first video. I did like a cover of pumped up kicks by Foster the People. And again, it got like half a million views. And I'm like, this is amazing. And so within like two months, I quit my job bailing. But my biggest question is, you know, that no one was really doing this as a career or were they? Did you know if I get views? Like, what was the end goal? Were you like, I want to monetize my videos and make a little money off of these? Like, what was the goal? Well, when I was first out of college, I was in a band called Colorfire. and we had started showcasing for labels and signed some deals. And we were going to do like this record deal, but we broke up for personal reasons.

And I was devastated. So I became this valet, parking cars, can't drive stick shift, just getting yelled it all the time. Sucked. And then I would watch YouTube every night because, like, I wanted to do music. I wanted to pursue it as a career and tour and do all of that. But I didn't know how. But I knew these guys on YouTube were doing it. Like I knew people like Tyler Ward and Alex Gude and people I looked up to.

And so I was like, I emailed a bunch of them. I was like, hey, can we make a video together? And none of them responded. So I just started making videos and it blew up. And then I became friends with those people and toured with them and made a career for years as a YouTuber, musician and then transitioned now to more production and writing. I do want to talk about that. But it does feel like your career on YouTube as a musician has really, like, it's so different.

Now your end goal is different, right? Like what you were wanting back then. It said like you wanted to be like a touring musician. You wanted to come out with your own music. Like, why did that shift happen? Because I did tour. I probably played like a thousand shows. I played a lot of colleges and it was so fun.

Go play shows at clubs or whatever. And I loved it. But then I got a little older and I was like, I don't want to be on the road all the time. That's not my dream. It is tough. It's super fun when you're like 19. I remember when you slept in the one bed with the two other guys you were touring with you told me.

Why do you have the weirdest stories of it? Because I remember that because you said you all laid sideways on the bed. Well, we were in a band Color Farron. We would tour and play colleges. whatever. And this one venue, they only bought us a one night. This one night, they bought us a hotel room with one bed and there were three of us. And so we slept side by side by side of this small double bed. So I eventually did get on YouTube and I entered the space. But I think one of the coolest stories of, you know, before that happened was Landon's Taylor Swift story. Yeah. And this

probably, you know, encouraged me a little bit. So tell them your Taylor Swift story. So anyone who's followed me for a while, I've heard this story. I used to tell this on the road. But long story short, I covered a song of Taylor's called Sparksfly. And one night I'm sitting in my apartment and my phone starts blowing up. I'm getting these texts and tweets from people I've never even met before. And it says, get on Twitter right now. And so I open up my Twitter and there's a tweet from Taylor Swift. And it says, I just saw Landonaut's cover or Sparksfly, and I really like it. And I like freaked. I literally fell out on my chair. And the first person I call is Goey, who's our like 90-year-old grandmother. She's like, who? Taylor, who? And I'm like,

I got a tweet from Taylor Swift, and she has no clue what any of that means. She's like, congratulations, honey. Yeah, I'm just happy you're happy. And so then I called some buddies, and me and my buddy, Matt, went to Harris Teeter in town. It's like five houses down for me in Nashville. It's a grocery store, and I wanted to get a cookie cake to celebrate the monumental moment. So I walk in, and this is two hours after the tweet, I promise this is true. We walk into Harris Teeter, and I see this really pretty blonde girl on the checkout in Nashville in the grocery store.

and it's freaking Taylor Swift. And she sees me and we like kind of lock eyes for a moment. And she's like, Lynn, I loved your cover. And I'm like, Tisa, I love you. Like, what are you doing in my grocery store? She's like, I thought you lived in Finland. I'm like, I actually live like three houses down if you want to see my place. It's cool.

You didn't get her phone number. Okay. Spoiler alert. The one thing I do remember from that story is you said, I was like, well, she like, and you're like, she smelled so good. She got, like, a hug or whatever, and she smelled good. But you can actually Google it's on Google, Landon Austin Taylor Swift, you can see that picture in Harris Teeter. So I'm so happy in that picture. That was probably the first moment where I was like, oh, this is pretty cool.

I was in Bible study my freshman year at Hardin House at UT, and my girlfriends were all just blowing up my phone. They were freaking out. Hey, me too. So my friends were calling me and saying, Anna Marie, Taylor Swift just tweeted about Lane. I go, what? It's crazy, though, because I heard about it before you were told. Her label gave me tickets to her show in Kentucky the next day. So I went and literally a whole night her dad had his arm around me.

And like, I don't know why he just took a liking to me. And so she plays this song, Dear John, and it's about John Mayer. And they keep telling me, or he keeps telling me how they like don't like John Mayer for various reasons. And I'm like, I love John Mayer. So I'm just like being quiet with Scott Swift. So he says when she sees you, she's going to be so excited. So he put me by the stage and she like walked off and gave me a hug or whatever. And then she walked off on the sunset and we never talked again.

But I got her dad's number for some reason, and he, like, took me to a hockey game the next day and introduced me to Carrie Underwood's husband, and then he and I got breakfast a week later and never talked to you. Well, that's kind of his thing, is he likes to help out smaller musicians, which is pretty cool. I think so. It was cool because he actually drove me home, and we're sitting outside my place, and he's like, Landon, do you want to make it in music? And I'm like, yeah, and this is like 2013. He's like, sign here on the dot. No, I was like, what's the keys of the kingdom right here? And he said, if you want to make it as a rock star in music, you need to get on MySpace.

And I'm like, MySpace. And this is after MySpace kind of like... This is like after MySpace has been sold to JT. Yeah, it's like, completely dead. Yeah. Thank you, Mr. Swift. I don't think that's dead. I don't know.

I told him I was like, I'm on YouTube. He's like, YouTube's dead. I'm like, okay. You should have asked him to buy 100,000 copies of your single release. I would have not turned that down. Because he did that for Taylor. He did. He bought her first 100,000 copies.

And that's how she got. I don't want to speak to that. We don't know if it's true. We don't know if that's true. It's a rumor. But it's smart. I would do it for you, honey. Thank you.

So then I eventually got on YouTube. Because of Landon. Because of Landon, I was a freshman or, no, was I a freshman? You were a freshman in college. And, you know, we kind of started vlogging. Well, to be fair, you thought it was very dorky. You're like, Landon, this is the weirdest thing ever. Why are you talking to the internet?

Remember what you said? You said, oh, yeah, Landon's got 100,000 imaginary friends. I did say that. Now I have two. I thought it was very strange because I was always a very social person. To me, it was just like, okay, this is an outlet for someone that just wants to stay in their bedroom. And I thought it was weird. And it wasn't until Landon put me in the videos.

And I kind of discovered that community that was like, oh, this is pretty cool. This is fun. So then I started making videos. And I kind of kept it a secret from all the girls that I was living with at the sorority house. And, you know, it was fun. It was something that we kind of did. together, like Landon and I both did together for three or four years. Do you remember, was there any competition between us? No, because I was crushing you back then. Let me tell you, can I say what Danny,

I'll never forget. So Landon was really doing his music and, you know, he was just getting on the internet and people knew him, were following him. And I remember Danny, do you remember this when you came up to me and you said, Mom, what's my talent? Do you remember that? Because you were like, you felt like you were in your brother's shadow at that time. You really did. I mean, I was. I was laying in Austin's sister. Yeah, you were. You were laying in Austin's sister. And then I realized, I don't have a talent. So I'm just going to go on YouTube and talk about it. No, you know what you did? Your brother encouraged you because a lot of his followers said, oh, your sister's so cute. She should do like fashion stuff. And remember you went out and did like a little triumph?

My first video was a like a Marshall's Hall. I don't remember. You know, to New Year's Eve outfits. but yeah um yeah so we really weren't competitive right no we've always had a different niche i've been music even more fashion yeah always you'll have always supported each other too but no you weren't competitive in that regard you both were very competitive in general yeah with ourselves yes what's it like having two kids that are on the internet now wow it's and what did people first think about it so at first honestly you know both of y'all when you both chose you these past because I remember Landon going to college at Belmont and I told him I said no music degree. You already know how to play music.

Do get a degree that's going to help you with your business someday. So you got a finance degree in business and stuff. And then, you know, he decided to do the music thing and I supported it because I just thought, you know what? He's young. Let him see if this can work for him. and a hot take is like your controversial opinion and they tend to be things like and we discuss them on our podcast but I'll give you an example. This is a very contentious hot take on our show and actually the most evenly divided

one we've ever had in the history of hot takes. Really? It's the hottest take. Here it is. Okay. Is it okay? Uh-huh.

to put your kid on a leash out in public. Is it okay? Are they an animal? Like some people say, you know what? This kid's a wild child. I don't want him to get hit by a car. We got to keep him rained in. You know what I mean?

No. No, I think it's totally okay. You think it's okay? 100%. Mom says no. I think that's because you don't have two under two. If you had babies that were so young, you had two or three babies and you're actually,

I think you put your kid on a leash because you're worried about their safety. Well, I mean, I can see that perspective. but honestly, a leash. Come on. Put them in a stroller. Put them in or put them in one of those little pouchy things that you carry them in front of you. But they want to get exercise and they want to get their stubs in. No.

Stella hates a stroller. I will say, you know, if I had to take Stratton and Stella out and I was in a place where I was scared that they were going to run into the street and I was by myself, I would absolutely put Stella on a leash. I could see that. I don't care. I don't care what people think.

I'm keeping my baby safe. I'm pro leech. Now that I think about it for safety reasons. Safety. And I have a lot of followers who are like young parents. and they tend to be advocates for the leash, so I empathize with them. Because they understand. I will say I was so anti-leash before I had babies, but now, oh my gosh.

And Stella, sometimes, you know, our biggest thing is when we're in a parking lot, I say, Stella, there's cars, you hold mommy's hand. Yeah. But sometimes they just don't want to. I know. And they're little, they sprint off and you can't control them. You need one of those leashes like for dogs that recoil. Yeah.

So, yeah, no, I'm definitely pro-leash. I know it's not a good look, but yeah. Here's another one. And I feel like this one was targeted at me, but they said, it's weird when people break up and then delete all evidence of their relationship on socials. Is that weird or is that normal? I think it's always just like give me the tea. It's so juicy.

I love it. So you want them to leave the pictures up? No, I just, I think it's so interesting whenever someone goes back and deletes all the pictures. Really? Yeah. I'm like, wow, like what happened? Yeah. No, I mean, no, I think I'm cool with that.

Cool with deleting? Yeah. I mean, no, it's your space on the internet. You can do whatever you want, you know. But some people are like, no, that's your history. Like you need to leave that up. That's where you've been. Like a photo album.

My thought process is if you start dating someone new, do you want them to see all that stuff? No. You're at the beach with them and you're going to hockey game. I always think that's really strange. Sometimes with celebrities, I will scroll back and see all these pictures with their ex. I just think it's so interesting.

But no, I think you definitely delete. Like, that would be strange. What do you think? What's normal? Oh, God. I've been out of the game so long, I don't even know. What if Landon still had pictures up with Laura, his first girlfriend from college? Yeah, from college.

I want a destination wedding. And if I got to pay for it, I'll pay for it. I don't care. Okay, but like for me and Jordan, we got married. Do you think we should split it? I really don't know what your arrangement was, but... We're fully married. Yeah, well, I don't know.

Because a lot of people are so confused. And they're like, who's Hispanic? Like, who's the Ramirez? So. But also that it was my maiden name. That's what I'm saying. And Danny married back into the family of Jordan, which I always thought was. You're not related because Ramirez is like Smith.

We're still waiting on the genetics test. Landon. To be fair, the kids turned out great. So I think we're good. I think we passed that hurdle. No, but really, I'll never forget when Danny came to me and she said, I met this great guy. She goes, the only thing is like his last name. And I said, well, what's his last name?

I'm thinking it's going to be something really strange. She goes, Ramirez. And I went, Danny, that's my maiden name. I mean, for a minute. for a split second, I kind of panicked. Like, oh my gosh, we're related. What are the grandkids going to look like? Landed.

But anyway, so we quickly found out that they are the Ramirez's from up north, Chicago area. We're the down south. They're German. Their German descent and Spanish, obviously. But, yeah, what are the chances of you marrying? To be fair, when he messaged me, I thought it was a cousin of mine. You know? It was on Facebook, and I thought, hmm, maybe this is one.

That is so crazy. But yeah, we are not related. So Jordan's dad, his family, the Ramirez is, and then my mom is a Ramirez. Yes. And they're both Hispanic. So Jordan and I are technically both half. Yes. But we both ended up looking like the more, I don't know, pale side of our family.

So I look more like dad. Yeah. And then Jordan looks more like his mom and the German side. Yeah. To be honest, like when Spanish descent, if you're from Spain, and even in Mexico, there are a lot of fair skin, blue-eyed. All my uncles are full-blooded. Your family is like obviously Hispanic.

Yeah, but on my dad's, but on my dad's side, they're all, I love, that's my mom's, but my dad's side, they're all blonde, blue-eyed. It's funny, though, if, like, we take pictures with our cousins on mom's side, we look so, like, we stand out so much. You know, at the Mercado, like downtown San Antonio, where all of our family, my mom's siblings all have stores there. So do you remember that photo booth right next door that has been there since we were little?

And you go and you dress up with the sombreros. And it's just kind of celebrating the Mexican-Hispanic culture. Well, I got so much hate on that photo. They're like, this is cultural appropriation, Danny. I'm like, this is my family. This is my family. Like, literally my family owns these shops. Anyway, that was always funny.

tube in there and you use your mouth and suck the boogers out okay I have another hot take that I think is targeted at you actually because when I got this a lot of people DM me about you you you're ready to hear I have okay what chewing gums on stories is gross yeah I do that's Sometimes. Apparently you do it enough to where I got some DMs about it. I don't think I do it that often. According to them, you do it all the time. I don't ever notice you chewing gum.

Like, that's hard. even if your family's terrible, it's a rough look to be like, hey, my family sucks, even though they gave you everything. I started reading, I'm like halfway into the book, his book that he does spare. Yeah. I don't know, to be honest, I kind of am liking it. I'm scared to admit, but I'm a fan of the Royals. But I will say, I'm also one of those people that, like, I can, it's like almost to a fault.

Like, I can see the good side of people, sometimes too much where it's like, okay, still Danny, like, you know, they did this, this and this.
