The following podcast is a dear media production.
Hello and welcome back to your favorite podcast.
D influence.
Has it been two weeks since we've recorded this?
It's been a while.
Life moves so fast and slow at the same time.
Like realistically it was probably two weeks ago.
It feels like it's been two months.
Yeah.
It really has.
Do you think it's like the way that we manage our lives that make it feel like so much happens?
Like I feel like so much happens.
in our seven days.
But if like we call our parents,
now your parents are pretty crazy.
My parents are like in a different country every day.
But like my parents,
if I told them how much happened in one week of our lives,
they'd be like that's the equivalent of like six months of our lives.
Yeah.
But I feel like we like it that way.
No,
that's what I'm asking.
But we go through waves.
We go through waves of like,
okay,
no,
there's not much going on.
Like I feel,
you know,
today or this weekend is like technically the start of summer.
Really?
But I felt really guilty not going to the lakehouse every weekend.
You felt that?
No.
Oh, good.
Because you feel like we should slow down?
Because I feel like we are about to move to Nashville.
And I feel like we need to use this lake house.
Yeah.
And I felt guilty that we haven't been.
Oh, interesting.
I know.
Yeah, I don't feel guilty about that.
I always wonder, are we moving too fast?
Are we moving too slow?
Actually, I never wonder.
Yeah, I do.
my problem is that there are certain weeks like one week out of every month where I can like work out
when I want to. There's nothing on my calendar. Yeah. Like my nervous system is pretty regulated.
And I'm always like in those weeks, I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Yeah. Because we've conditioned
ourselves so much to be like fully just like twerk, you know? I know. I'm kind of going through like,
one of those weeks where I just kind of want to like veg and I'm feeling I am feeling a little guilty
about that like I don't even really want to go to the lake house this weekend really I kind of just
want to like take naps and I'm kind of feeling tired yeah you know and and I feel like the past like
three or four weeks with this move and everything with the house and everything with like trying
to figure I feel like I've been going 100 miles per hour and I just want to chill yeah no I felt so bad
that I didn't go to that thing with you last night
It would have been great to have you there.
Oh, really?
Yeah, it would have been, it would have been nice.
It's okay.
You were bummed too.
No, I wasn't bummed.
I was so proud of you for like setting your boundaries.
And it's just tough.
Like it's a different mode for me when I have to work a room solo.
Yeah.
You know, like it's kind of like whenever you like were committed to a dinner and you're like,
hey, I get sick.
And then I have to like go and I'm like, okay, I got to carry this.
Yeah.
And it's just everyone's with their spouse.
So I got to like, it's a different gear, you know?
Yeah.
But I did great.
I'm sorry.
I did great.
I made so many friends that like it's in like it was a Christian influencer event.
Yeah.
Which means the entire city of Nashville was in Dallas for this party.
It was like everyone I met was like, yeah, I'm in Franklin.
Yeah, I'm in Leeper's Fork.
And I was like, of course you are.
Yeah.
So you made new friends for us.
Yeah, I did.
You know, I do think you're probably tired because you started your period.
Oh, thank you for telling the world.
Well, here's the thing.
Danny and I, so Danny's three months postpartum.
Yeah.
You're cleared to, you know.
Yeah, that was six weeks.
At six weeks.
So we've had this game of cat and mouse going because it's like, usually it's like, I'm breastfeeding or like, oh, this.
And she's running out of ammo.
And let me tell you the ammo she threw at me this week.
The ammo she threw at me this week was she was like, you know, I of course like engage or attempt to engage.
And she's like, oh, I started my period.
And I'm like, oh, okay.
All right.
Well, it's a temporary thing.
And then she's like, actually, I don't think I started my period.
I actually think my bladder's falling out of my vajajay.
And I was like, oh, no.
No, it's a real thing.
But I don't, I don't think it's actually happening to me.
I kind of, okay, it's called sort of the P.
Plasty?
Prolapse.
Prolapse.
I said, I think I'm having prolapse.
So I'm not saying it was a turnoff, but it was definitely a deterrent to any type of engagement.
But then you were like, I'm not having prolapse.
I'm just on my period.
So what is happening?
Do we have to talk about it here?
Well, I mean, there was a whole day where I was.
was like literally walking out the door to take Stratton to school. I was panicking. And she was
panicking. Okay. I mean, I'm not going to get into the details. But yeah, I did feel like it was
very early to start my cycle again, like at three months, which I did start. But she was hungry.
She was cranky. No, and I'm really not like in the best mood right now either. I'm sorry. I'm just
be honest. It's not mood. I just like. No, I feel it. I feel a little anxiety again.
Yeah, no. It's all this happens once a month. I know. I know.
But yeah, so I just thought it was early, but I guess it's not early.
But it's because I'm still breastfeeding.
So I kind of thought like, oh, that would come later on since I'm still breastfeeding.
And it didn't.
It decided to show up now.
So I thought, surely there's something else going on.
So then I Wikipedia and I was, not Wikipedia.
I like, I googled it.
And I'm like, I'm having prolapse, but I'm not.
And so then I walked out the door and the entire car ride to Stratton School, I was like, what, what organ falls out?
It happens. It's very common actually.
But what is it your? It could be your bladder falling out or your uterus.
Sometimes you can, what happens is the muscles around your uterus, like, get so stretched out that like your uterus just like literally falls out.
Yeah. Well, I told her last night. It's like for a lot of women.
I said, I know you're running out of cards, but I was like that one will keep me away for a solid three weeks.
It's like when you told me about your ovarian cysts that have teeth.
Babe, they don't have
That one
That one kept me away for a good month
There are cysts that do have teeth
It's not that mine do
Yeah, I mean
But then you showed me some that do
Yeah, because I just thought it was interesting
They're like little troll dolls
It's the craziest thing
Don't, what do they call?
Like normal,
Oh, don't Google it
It is really crazy
It's crazy
They literally have
Those little troll dolls that have the hair
And the teeth
Like that's what it's like
a it's like a mix between a trolled on a lububu but the size of it's the size of an edamame
pod i also like don't know any girls that like don't have cysts like every girl has like
ovarian cysts even if they're like this big or like honestly this is a great idea sex ed
fifth grade is that when they show it to you yeah then they yeah fifth grade no they don't
mine was middle school fifth grade i remember
because I skipped out that day.
That seems crazy early.
No, they do.
That seems real.
I don't think it's fifth grade.
Sixth grade.
Yeah, you're probably right.
Yeah.
Anyway.
I remember I skipped that day.
It wasn't middle school.
It's elementary school.
I forgot what they said in that class of why you shouldn't have premarital sex, but like all
you really need to do is pull up dormant.
No, I think you should show them like syphilis.
Oh, they do that.
I remember that.
Yeah.
They do that.
But like I'm telling you, this is more powerful than syphilis.
No.
I think so.
It's possible.
That, it's like that.
Herpes and stuff.
Showing those cis is the equivalent of putting a chastity belt on a female.
Because no, no male will ever want to approach that cave.
Yeah, but you don't ever like see it.
You won't know until you die.
Yeah, I'm just saying.
Anyway.
Anyway, I don't have teeth.
You're on your, you're on your period.
Your bladder is intact.
Yeah, I think we're okay.
We're okay.
I took a mirror to it.
It's really, it's really, it's ruined the clear.
I know.
When I walked by you in the shower, I put my hands to my face because I was like, I don't
want to ruin this.
I don't want to ruin this.
And then I would just speed past the shower.
Did you Google it?
What happens?
No, absolutely not.
Yeah, I wouldn't.
No, absolutely not.
I don't.
Speaking of all about Alex Cooper is pregnant.
I have so many thoughts on this.
I've actually been texting some people on the divvy team about this.
Like if you're not posting about Alex Cooper's pregnancy as a male pastor criticizing her,
then like, who are you?
Because so many male pastors are like resharing posts of Alex Cooper being like, she's lied to you.
It's like a male pastor thing right now.
Yeah, then I won't share my thoughts.
No, share your thoughts.
Please, everybody wants to know.
Well, I mean, I do think she.
It's just so weird to me.
I don't know why.
I just feel like it's so weird when like males post it off females.
That's what I'm saying.
I wouldn't ever post about it.
But you can talk about it.
Yeah.
I'm asking you.
Well,
okay.
So my only experience with this whole like call her daddy thing was mostly exposed from like
people that I was around at Divi at the time.
So like early 20 somethings, mid 20 somethings and not everyone like most of them are moms now.
But I remember at her peak, Alex Cooper, was like, oh, I'm so unwell.
It was like the whole party scene and it was like I mean the caller daddy era era was pretty wild.
I've heard clips.
Yeah.
You know, and it wasn't it, I don't know the whole story arc, but wasn't it about like.
One night stands.
Yeah, kind of like all that.
Having multiple partners.
And then I remember, so this is what's crazy.
Three years ago, maybe two years ago, I asked those girls that followed caller daddy and liked Alex Cooper at her peak.
And I was like, do you guys think that she's just selling you this idea of kind of like self-deprecating like, you know, men suck like, you know, like just live it up, have fun.
Like do you guys think that that's going to be sustainable?
And even two years ago, a bunch of them were like, yeah, like, we're kind of like getting over it because we don't want to be unwell.
Like we don't want to be unhappy.
Like we want to like focus on our like health and all these things.
And it was just like they were already kind of like turning against it.
And that's when I started taking the under on Alex Cooper's empire because my bet was that you've kind of convinced this like certain part of like Gen Z or what are we millennials, certain part of millennials that this is what life looks like.
And you're kind of like shoving it down their throats while you grow and become famous.
Yeah.
And it just felt like it was all kind of like losing steam.
And now it's a total curveball that she's like married, having kids, presumably happy, a multimillionaire.
But like, the question I asked last week was like, do you feel like she left an entire generation of women behind?
Did you ask that to the team?
Yeah.
What did they say?
They said that they felt like she had moved on from that and evolved after she went from the Sophia co-hosts to like this version of color daddy.
Yeah.
And so she was like, but they also said.
Hey goodness.
I mean, I love that she evolved.
Like, yeah, she evolved.
But she never, I go, but don't you feel like she should have like acknowledged or apologized?
I think she maybe did on one podcast kind of say.
was it her say like she kind of had it wrong i could be wrong about that but i think that there
was like some recognition but not like a lot of recognition and i mean yeah i definitely think that
she evolved and um didn't give like the best i to be honest it it's really hard for me to speak on this
topic because i've never really been someone that listening to that podcast i've always thought
it was just like crap always thought her advice was horrible like i just think it's
it's not really like for me.
So I don't I don't really understand the mentality of like how she's actually
influencing some of these women to actually go out and have one night stands.
And I mean, you just kind of have to have like zero morals.
Well, I think the whole idea behind it was like guys do this to us all the time,
which is kind of what she capitalized on like guys have a whole game of like going up
and like, you know, getting girls and like hooking up with them.
And this was like the first podcast that came.
out that like switch the power dynamics, right? And so it's just a mess. It's a mess. It's like it's like
fighting fire with fire. But like at the time, you know, I think that there were a lot of females
really struggling in dating. So probably wanted a husband and wanted, you know, like a family,
but we're like so taken advantage of. And so this was like, no, like we're going to take advantage back.
They probably felt better because Alex Cooper was saying, hey, you can live this way too. And they're like,
okay great then I will as well like yeah no it was like it was like normalizing just like how they were
feeling just doing what you want to do in the moment yes and so it was kind of like a let's fight
fire with fire which I totally get that because um any any like thing I hear fly on the wall
about like or like dating scenes right now is that it's a pretty it's a pretty big mess yeah like men are
not committing you know if they're Christian guys they're just kind of like they're kind of like they're
kind of like doing the Jesus jukes and like just leading girls on for forever.
And if they're not like believers.
I've never heard that.
And if they're not believers, then they're just like literally like hooking up with a ton of
girls at the same time.
And so I understand wanting to fight back.
But if if she acknowledged her sins.
I mean, I don't think it was like a big like whole podcast about it.
But even just one is fine with me.
But like I just what I was asking them is like, did she ever.
go back and acknowledge it because I would be very angry if she built this entire empire
off of the self-deprecation and like negativity of other women while she gets to enjoy the fruits
of like having a family. Does that make sense? Well, okay. So to be honest, I I kind of feel
the same way sometimes about Alex Earle's brand. Like it always confused me how her whole brand
is about partying, but then she turns into this like business woman.
Yeah, no, she doesn't do that anymore, though.
Party?
So she evolved.
Yeah, she saw, I don't even think, like, I think I've seen her talk about like not wanting
to drink as much.
Okay.
Yeah.
But then she has that Marg brand.
And so what happens is like when you build your brand on this.
Off of partying, then you can't like, you can't get out of it.
Like there's been so many like DJs that have talked about this.
But I actually think it's cool that these women do evolve.
Like I actually think it's cool that they can like look back and be like,
oh yeah, that Mark's brand was like a different era. And now I'm in like the marriage era or the,
you know, so at least they're growing and changing. And it's like you kind of can't fault them for like,
they started these businesses when they were really young. They gained all this influence.
They didn't know what to do with all of it. Yeah. And they're kind of just like going with the
flow. And then they grow older. Like I think about some of the stuff that I thought, you know,
10, five, even five years ago, having four kids versus one kid, like I'm a totally different type of
mom, you know? No, I think everyone's got evolved. Their evolution is like more extreme. I'm actually
super happy that she has evolved, that she's like married and having kids. It proves to people like,
hey, she like the whole unwell or the whole, what should call it? Yeah. Was it oh well? Yeah,
unwell. Daddy game. It didn't really work. It doesn't work for long. I don't, I don't know any
numbers about her drink, but I, I, yeah, I think the movement was a trend. And it was a, it was an
era and it was something that died out. And so now she does have to rebuild.
So I'm telling you, both those girls are not partying all night. Like they are business
woman. They are showing up like nine o'clock in the morning ready to film. Like,
100%. You can't party like that and have a successful business and success. That's what I,
this is what I always wondered with Alex Earl. So she's like up partying 24-7, but then she's getting
up these TikToks and these blogs and like getting them and they're like edited well and they're
on time and they're. And even though the brand is like, oh,
were hungover in bed. I'm like, it, you can't be that hungover. Like, you can't be like that. And then I
met Alex and she was like really great in person. And she was like, we were at, um, this place in the
Hamptons and it was like a day party. But she was like totally surf lodge.
Surf lodge. Danny made it surf lodge. I don't even know what that is and I don't really care.
Oh, it's it's like the place to be. Oh yeah. Yeah. They were definitely like, I've never been.
Oh yeah. It was definitely like a vibe. Yeah. Um, but yeah, she was like not crazy.
I mean, probably not.
I mean,
something Navy was there,
which was kind of cool.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'd go back, actually.
Yeah.
I don't really vibe with that type of music.
I'd much rather go to like a country concert.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Yeah.
But she was nice.
So nice.
So here's my point.
And put together and like just not who you would think she is from the outside looking in.
I think that it's,
it's totally good with me that she evolved.
And I have no problem with that.
I'm super happy for the Alexes.
Yeah.
In their revolutions.
I just,
my question to like the Divi team was like,
does this leave a bad taste in y'all's mouth?
What did they say?
Probably not.
They said,
well,
what they said is that most of their friends hate Alex Cooper.
Oh.
Yeah, like they can't stand her or just don't care anymore.
And what they said was that they believe that
most of her success and what's keeping her relevant is just getting these celebrities on the podcast.
Yeah, for sure. But what they said was like the new it person is this Jake Shane guy. Oh, yeah, for sure.
And they were like, because now Jake Shane is getting like all these celebrities on his podcast. And he's more honest. And he's more like, he's more vulnerable. And he like can get them to open up. And Alex Cooper does feel like a little calculated. And I agree. Alex Cooper is not someone that I.
I would follow for like lifestyle content.
Like I don't think that we would be friends.
I don't feel like she's a girl's girl.
I don't feel like she would like like Jake Shane.
I feel like if you were in an interview with him and you were like,
hey, like I'm really feeling uncomfortable.
Like he would listen to you and like feel for you.
And Alex Cooper, I feel like would stab you in the back.
Yeah.
And that's,
and I feel like we want to relate with like a Jake shape.
And but that's the thing is like we want to open up to Jake because we trust him.
But you don't trust Cooper.
And I feel that same way that with Alex Earl, I feel like I could trust her.
Like I feel like she's like a girl's girl.
Like she has all like sisters and this family around and she just feels like supported.
And I just, yeah, that's great.
There are a lot of people going to Jake Shane's podcast.
Today's episode is brought to you by cotton, which is perfect because we're both wearing cotton today.
I feel like making sure you're wearing and buying cotton clothing is such an underrated thing about getting dressed.
But once it starts getting hot outside, I suddenly care so much more about fabrics.
Oh my gosh.
Absolutely, especially in Texas and soon to be Tennessee. We can't really fake it through the summer in the wrong clothes, especially me. You know why? I get rashes. You are very sensitive. I need very breathable clothes. You need very, no, literally like something very, very breathable, breathable. And somehow I always know if it's going to make me break out in a rash by just touching it. I know. I do. I've become the person checking tags now, especially with spring and summer clothes. I'm. I'm
I always look for cotton because it just feels lighter and more comfortable to me.
I've actually started doing that with my basics too.
Also, do you hear about like this giant pushback on like polyester and other clothes?
No, yeah, it's like not good.
It's bringing down people's sperm count.
No, especially for your skin because it's so sensitive.
Your cotton basics have helped you a ton.
Yeah, I don't really break out like hives, but it's definitely what did they call it?
Allergies.
No, they call it.
Eczema?
Sorriasis.
Sariasis.
Something like that.
But 100%.
I can always tell a difference when I'm wearing a cotton tea versus something else.
My skin doesn't really feel itchy or sensitive after.
And also, I think it's one of those things where you don't have to choose between comfort
and style anymore.
You know, some of my favorite pieces are just like super basic cotton.
No, babe.
Trust me.
I know.
I see your rotation of your t-shirts.
I get so mad.
I'm like, at least choose a different color.
But I love that cotton works year round too.
During spring, especially the weather changes.
so much. It's changing like every five seconds. So layering is everything. So true. It's freezing in the
morning. It's hot by lunch. Somehow windy again at dinner. I mean, what's going on? No, Texas weather is
honestly just bipolar like that. It really is. But even at home, I've noticed I care more about cotton too,
like bedding, towels, blankets, especially as it gets warmer outside. You know my favorite sheets?
100% gone. Really? I know. I know. But breathable bedding makes such a difference, especially if you sleep
hot like I do. Or cold. I mean, they still keep me cool while not making you sweat all night.
Exactly. And I love that cotton is natural too. It just feels better knowing that fabrics touching
our skin all day are natural fibers. Also random but important life tip. If you're shopping,
check the tag because sometimes things look like cotton and they're not. They're liars.
No, that's so true. That's the biggest thing. I always check labels now.
Look at us. We're fabric people. No, we really are. Next thing you know, we'll be discussing thread
counts at parties. No, honestly, we're not far off. But genuinely, whether it's clothes, denim,
bedding towels, cotton is just one of those things that makes everyday life feel a little bit more
comfortable. Exactly. Cotton really is the fabric of our lives. And you can learn more at the
fabric of our lives.com. You can follow Discover Cotton and use hashtag shop cotton. Okay, I feel like
once you become more aware of what's actually in household products, it's hard to unsee it.
Especially as a mom, I've just become way more conscious about what we're using around
the house every single day on countertops, laundry, the air we're breathing, all of it. And honestly,
that's why I started switching over to branch basics. What surprised me most is I assumed if something
was plant and mineral based, it probably wouldn't work as well as conventional cleaners. And that has
not been my experience at all. It actually cleans really well, but without all the super harsh
smells and ingredients. I also love how simple the system is. Their concentrate basically works for
everything. Counters, bathrooms, laundry, produce, even makeup brushes. So instead of having 20 different
cleaning products under the sink, it's way more streamlined. And I feel like anytime you can simplify
your home while also making it feel safer, that's a win. I've especially been using it more
lately with all the conversations Jordan and I have been having around moving and eventually
creating a fresh environment in a new home. It just makes me think differently about what we're
bringing into our space overall. And the refill system,
is honestly so smart too because you're just refilling bottles instead of constantly rebuying everything.
It's one of those swaps that feels small at first, but once you make it, you really don't want to go back.
Get yourself and your loved ones the best gift of all, the gift of clean with branch basics.

until you actually get into the logistics of it, because then suddenly you're dealing with delivery
timelines, measuring doorways, figuring out what fits where, and somehow every easy assembly piece
turns into a six-hour project and a minor crisis. And honestly, with Danny and I moving soon and
creating a new home, it's made me realize how nice it would be to have a fresh start with furniture
instead of dragging every single thing from one place to another.
That's why something like court furniture rental actually makes a lot of sense.
They help people furnish apartments, homes, and temporary spaces
without the huge upfront cost or stress of buying everything yourself.
And the process is really simple.
You can choose a curated package or customize your own setup,
pick your delivery date,
and then court delivers everything and sets it all up for you,
which honestly sounds amazing compared to some of the moving experiences I've had.
I still remember buying furniture once that didn't even fit through the door,
doorway and then trying to resell it for basically nothing. If court existed then, problem solved.
And I also like that when life changes again, new city, new place, whatever, they come pick
everything up too. So instead of spending your first week in a new place, assembling furniture
and losing screws, you can actually enjoy your space right away. Rent today at court.com
slash podcast. That's c-o-r-t.com slash podcast. The other thing I was going to say, and then we can
move on from House Cooper, is one of the best trump cards.
I've ever seen in internet history.
The Alex and Alex feud was going, and no one knew how I was going to shake out.
And I feel like Alex Cooper was losing the culture.
I think she is still, yeah.
But listen, when you pull out that pregnancy card.
Oh, so good.
Because now if Alex.
Ultimate Trump card.
So true.
Because if Alex Earl goes after her now, it's like such a bad vibe.
Like, don't go after pregnant women.
But if Alex Earle comes out and says, hey, listen, there was beef, there's drama.
I'm not going to go after her because she's pregnant.
and I just think that's wrong, then like Alex Super comes out as queen again.
Alex Earl. I mean, sorry, Alex Earl comes out as queen again. It's like, wow, like such a
respectful queen. No, I mean, that Trump card was. Yeah. She's good. She's good at the internet.
If anyone is going after a pregnant woman, like you're sick in the head. Sorry.
They still come after you. I know. And that's why you're sick in your head. If you came after me
pregnant. It's so hard being pregnant. And then you add these like, it's just like, guess,
He's such bad dick.
One other pop culture thing that I've been theorizing on.
So I called the Unwell short two years ago.
The other thing I've been calling is that Taylor Frankie Paul's season of The Bachelor
is going to come out.
And I don't know if you guys, they're slow dripping it to us.
It's going to come out this summer.
Well, that was a rumor.
Oh, why I thought it was quote unquote rumor.
Oh, they leaked it.
Someone leaked it to one of the head.
gossip person people around the bachelor that only talks about the bachelor so not true i'm telling you
all of this is dripping and this season is going to happen i agree with you but like and i she is
going through it i believe you and i'm not saying that i know how much of this was calculated and how
much wasn't but i think she is very smart and i think she can take a lot of heat and she
She's like Jake Paul. She understands that whether you hate me or you love me, I'm getting your attention.
But I agree that Hulu would do that so that they can get more views and make more money. But I don't think that Taylor has anything to do with this. That girl is suffering. I'm telling you she's suffering.
No, I know.
I know.
But I'm just saying this season of The Bachelorette is going to air,
and we will never know the full story of what was marketing and what was real life.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm not saying she faked child abuse.
Let me tell you, I would watch it.
Danny, everyone in the, it will, I'm calling it now.
It will be the most dramatic of the season.
And they'll bring Chris Harrison back.
No, that's what I said that in our group chat.
I said the only thing I would have done differently.
Oh, you said that?
Is bring Chris Harrison back.
Oh, it's so good.
No, I sent in your group text, the only text I ever really sent is when I'm right about
internet conspiracy theories.
Yeah.
That's funny.
It's great marketing.
So great.
Great marketing.
So we got back.
Do you want to ask about my teeth first?
Danny, tell us about your teeth.
They look so different.
Okay, but are you being sarcastic?
No.
I think they look really good.
here's my thing you've always taken really good care of your teeth yeah really good care yeah if i was on a
trip for two weeks and then i came back i don't think i would have known that you got new teeth really
but i think it's a good thing because they're definitely whiter yeah your smile is better but i'm
complimenting you and saying it looks natural you already had really good teeth that means you're
complimenting dr dully yeah and they're natural she's such a vibe i love her yeah i think
look really like so her big thing about veneers and there were so many questions that I can kind of answer
about getting these veneers but her big thing is you can go really white with the color if you go
natural with the shape that's kind of like her thing which I agree with because if you go if you change
the shape a lot and then you go really white that's whenever people are like oh my gosh it looks like
those big like tick-tac teeth or horse teeth or whatever she's done a lot of influencers a lot yeah um yeah
So our podcast producers asked me like what they feel like.
They feel exactly what you would think they feel like.
Amazing.
Like smooth.
Yeah.
And like my bottom ones are like so straight now.
You see?
And they're just like so smooth.
Like you just want to like run your tongue over them all the time.
Yeah, me too.
No, it's like kind of the best.
So the way that the process works is you go.
in and they have two different ways they can give you veneers. One, if your teeth are already like
pretty straight and pretty like even, like if you had braces, they can do no prep veneers,
which means that they don't have to shave any of your teeth down and they just take like
measurements and they just put the veneer over your teeth, which is great because you don't have
to like mess up your your natural teeth. The other way is if you're not a good candidate for that,
then they do have to shave your teeth down just a little bit. Which is what they're
did with Danny. And you. Yeah, and me. But I saw Danny as though she did meth. Like her teeth were just
like shaven down. Didn't bother me that much. Well, so it's really interesting because like you and I have
yours are like that too, but I never looked at you. Yeah, you did. No. You didn't? No. I now understand
I remember when my teeth were shaved down like that, how vulnerable it felt. And I now understand why you
wanted me to leave the room. Yeah, you just kept looking. I was like, can you leave? It's kind of like
you're looking whenever you were giving birth. It's like, can you stop? Yeah, I get that. Um, but they
bought so these, they basically like cement them to your teeth. And the way that they get the veneers off
is actually really cool, because I already had veneers like seven years ago, is they use a laser
and they literally just like fly off. It's wild. Um, and so I got new ones on. They like cement them
in like they're so, so strong that you're, I'm never going to have problems.
with them chipping. In fact, I feel like I chipped my natural teeth more than my veneers. But yeah,
like, and the craziest thing is, so they do the temps. And the temps kind of look exactly like your
teeth now. And they take that week and they have to, it could be two weeks, but they need that
two week range so they can order the actual veneers. So the lab works on them. They shape them
exactly how your dentist wants. And then you come back in two weeks later and then you get the veneers
placed on. The biggest definitely.
on side to the whole process is it just takes a long time like you're in the chair for a really long time but it
doesn't hurt because they numb the heck out of you like you are so so numb um besides that like
you know we just like jammed to drake and yeah it was like she just though the other word's right about
it is is like you can't talk so you just have to listen yeah the whole time that was hard um
but i actually have an implant that i got because i when i lost this tooth my like one of my like one of my
laterals. I just never grew a tooth back. Like it's just genetic in our family. And so you can also
do veneers if you have implants, which is really great. So yeah, I mean, that was fun. People like,
why did you do it? And I was like, I don't know. She's in her her looks maxing era. Yeah,
because clavicular told me too. Actually, he doesn't have veneers. Honestly, it was just like,
no, he does. No, he does. He just did like an interview with Jake Paul. No, Logan Paul.
And I was looking at his teeth and I was like
He doesn't open ears. Yeah.
It's just shocking. I mean, he's done like everything.
Everything.
Have you seen his before and after pictures?
No.
Really. I'm going to show you.
Oh my.
I know.
Wait, let me see.
He looks like Superman.
He gives me such shit though.
The cringe.
No, I mean, he's for sure like.
Okay.
Also, he just looks like a kid that was going through puberty.
You know, like we all look weird.
people always look at my pictures when I was like 20 years old and they're like like I posted that
picture of Luke Conner you know 15 years ago and people are like what did you different to your
face? I'm like I don't know I was 20 years old. You just change to me it no babe it's great but his body's
like insane but like also yeah don't undermine his work this dude chiseled his face literally
I could see that like because you know why he took a hammer to his face because I think that
that happened whenever I um when I was getting the veneers because I was so swollen.
from just the shots they give you for the numbing.
And I kind of felt like I looked like clificular.
And I was like, this is probably what it's like to bone smash because it's swollen.
Yeah.
And he like injects.
I don't know what he injects.
He injects things into his face to like slim it out.
That probably can't be good for you.
No.
Have you ever heard how much stuff he's on?
No.
Babe, he's going to die.
The amount of testosterone, like the amount.
Well, no, I think his testosterone is actually like pretty low grade.
But the peptides he's on, like how much atterol he takes.
Like, that's what the devil's drug.
That's why he's like, people say he's like on the spectrum.
But I think he's just like hopped up on Adderall.
For sure.
He's just dialed in.
Yeah.
That changes your personality.
And then I think he takes like Cialis.
What's that?
That like increases your libido because your libido is probably.
down with Adderall. So he's just like literally like trying to find a cocktail mix to like
balance all the drugs he's on. Oh, that can't be good for you. No, it's not good for you at all.
One of my favorite parts about summer these days is honestly just getting everybody packed and
ready for pool days or lake weekends together. And I know this sounds dramatic, but good swimwear for
families makes such a difference, especially when it's comfortable, holds up well and actually
feels timeless instead of something you use for one season. That's why I've loved Minow. Everything just
feels really thoughtful, the colors, the prints, the fit. It has that classic coastal feel without
trying too hard. And all the pieces coordinate so naturally as a family. We've especially loved
the rash guard pieces because they're lightweight, buttery soft, easy to get on and off and have
UPF 50 plus protection, which as a mom is obviously huge for me. And I also appreciate that the quality
actually lasts. The fabric holds up really well, sand doesn't get trapped in the lining, and everything
still looks beautiful after wearing it over and over. It's one of those brands where you can
immediately tell a lot of care went into the details. And honestly, when you're packing for summer
trips or long beach days, having pieces you know are going to be comfortable and easy just makes
life feel smoother. This summer minnow goes to Cape Cod, a place defined by tradition rather than
discovery. The summer 2026 collection is built for the feeling of being back. Salt air,
striped towels, and jumps off the dock. Pieces made for the summers,
your kids will remember. Shop the summer collection starting May 14th at shopmino.com and enter code
meetmino 15 at checkout to receive 15% off your first order. That's shopmino.com code. Meetmino 15 for 15%
off your first order. Lately, I've been trying to simplify getting dressed because I feel like
when life gets busy, the last thing I want is to stand in my closet overthinking an outfit.
And honestly, Quince has become one of the brands I find myself shopping online consistently because it
feels effortless while still looking really elevated. I've especially been loving their linen pieces
lately. They're lightweight and breathable, but still look polished enough that you feel put together
without trying too hard. And their denim genuinely surprised me. It has that structured feel that
makes it flattering, but it's still soft and comfortable. And when I saw the price, I actually double-checked
because it felt way more expensive. I also think what makes quince different is the quality of the
materials. They use things like 100% European linen, organic cotton, and ultra-soft denim, and you can
really feel the difference. And because they work directly with ethical factories and cut out the
middlemen, everything ends up being way more affordable than similar brands. So it feels like you're
getting those elevated wardrobe staples without the huge markup attached to them. It's honestly become
one of my favorite places to find everyday pieces that still feel special. Refresh your everyday with
luxury you'll actually use.

I feel like the older I get, the more I value clothes that are actually comfortable
enough to live in all day.
Not just something that looks good for 20 minutes and then immediately becomes the first
thing you want to change out of.
And honestly, that's why Cozy Earth stands.
out to me, their brushed bamboo jogger set has basically become the kind of thing you throw on once
and then keep reaching for over and over because it's soft, lightweight, and just easy to wear
whether you're at home, traveling, running errands, whatever. And I know Danny would agree,
but when we're talking about moving and designing our new home, I think we're both paying
way more attention to things that make everyday life feel calmer and more comfortable. That's also
why I like the lakehouse clogs. They're one of those simple things that somehow make being at home
feel more relaxing, comfortable enough to wear around the house, but also easy to throw on if
you're heading out quickly. And the quality is genuinely noticeable. It feels elevated without trying
too hard. I appreciate that cozy earth stands behind their products. There's a 30-day return
policy, hassle-free returns, and a lifetime warranty on the clothing, which honestly says a lot.
It's just one of those brands where once you try it, you understand why people keep talking
about it. Give yourself the kind of comfort that lives with you all day, not just the
moment you get home. Cozy Earth's brushed bamboo jogger set and lakehouse clogs are designed to
keep you cozy, comfortable, and actually relaxed all season long. Comfort lives here. Head to cozyearth.com
and use my code Danny for up to 30% off, but only for a limited time. This exclusive offer
runs from May 18th through June 1st only, so don't wait. Well, you've been reading a lot lately.
I want to hear about the unseen realm. We're talking about it. Okay, but you're reading a second book.
I don't want to go there.
Well, can you tell us about aliens and demons?
So Danny was like talking about these disclosure files.
Yeah, I just want to know more.
And I just said to Danny, I said they're not aliens, they're demons.
Okay, why do you think that?
So Jordan thinks that aliens are demons.
Why?
Um, okay, it's really complicated.
We went to deep tracks.
You want the deep tracks?
Okay.
Okay. So.
Especially about like the Adam and Eve thing that you told me.
That's so interesting. It's so interesting. You have to tell them.
Okay. There's a, I've already talked about this, but there's a book called The Unseen
Realm and it basically is more of like the supernatural view of specifically Genesis and then
the Old Testament. Okay. And it's just giant, this, it's this giant story of like, you know,
God created Eden and he created humans to be imagers of him and to like...
Does that mean we look like God looks like a human?
I don't think so.
Okay, I just kidding.
I think imagers is more like his nature traits, virtues.
So traits, though.
Oh, like personality traits.
Yeah, like love and grace and kindness and, you know, all the goodness.
Like the, you know, like we know, like, we know what writing.
and wrong is right like so god is not morgan freeman god is not morgan freeman um and the reason i don't
think we look like god is because like as a species whatever god is and then like our species is because
a lot of the angels look very different you know like the cherubum or whatever
yeah it's like the big eye it's like four wings and then like you know those are described and those
But he would, I think, also say that those are made in his image, too.
So I don't think it's, like, just physical image.
I wonder if they chair about them think we look really weird.
You know, and we think they look weird.
But you asked me why I think they're aliens.
So, um...
Wait, you didn't get into the Adam and you thing.
Which Adam and you think.
About the Nephilim?
I think this is too hard for me right now.
Okay, okay.
It's too deep.
Okay.
But I think that, so basically here's, here's what I would say.
is if you read Genesis under like the Michael, I think his name is Michael Heiser, he's dead now,
but he was like a theologian. If you read that book, I think that you will understand that
there's like a history here of basically the, you know, Adam and Eve fall, right? And then there's
like fallen angels, right? Satan being the main one. And fallen angels. And fallen angels.
fall because they disobey God or they like try to compete with God. I'm actually genuinely asking. Yes. Yeah. So like basically
that was Lucifer who became Satan. It's hard because the actual translation of Satan is a poser. So there are like there's the Satan and then there's like Satan referenced as like just like people who debated or pushed against you know God. Like Job, right?
right, is I don't know if it's the Satan or Satan, but it's like arguing with God, like,
no, Job should have fallen or Job will fall.
And it was just kind of like an opposing force.
But the point is, is that when God put Satan over Eden, he was part of like the governing
counsel of God, right?
So like an angel or like a spiritual being.
And so what was most interesting to me about this book is you always kind of like what
we're taught in like Sunday school is Eve fell prey to a serpent. Yeah, like the women are always
Yeah, like, oh, like she, it's all women, you know, if the man was there. Like, you know, like,
but it probably, it more likely than not was a very trustworthy source. Yeah, being that like Eve knew
as like a trustworthy source that like coaxed her into accessing forbidden knowledge. Right. So she's
still made a mistake, but like she probably in her mind was like, I'm not going to try.
Like she didn't know it was demonic or Satan.
It was just for, it's like, you remember like when Jesus was tempted in the desert?
Yeah.
And like the Satan probably at that point was like, I can give you all these kingdoms or I can give you all the riches.
It probably was a temptation like that.
Right.
Right.
And so, you know, as part.
I mean, like, honestly, I've been a little tempted too.
Well, it was a very like cosmic event because.
that's what was basically the fall, right? So it was like a betrayal to God by Satan or who was part of
his counsel before. So it was a transgression against God. And then it made his vision of Eden and
man corrupt, right? Like it kind of like set a whole different direction. So then once you understand
the importance of that, then what happens is like God disperses and the whole Old Testament is
basically God trying to reclaim his people that had fallen prey to sin and Israel, as they would
call it, like different than the nation. Or maybe not. I don't want to get into that. But, you know,
reclaiming his people and trying to rebuild a new Eden. And the craziest thing about this book is
when you look at things like, I would read this book and then I would read through like the
passages. And it really is like a crazy historical text. Like everything in the Old Testament,
like historians from like second temple Jewish literature would be like, yeah, like this happened.
Or this was the civilization at that time. And so it all is so forward looking to the Messiah.
Like it adds up is what you're saying. Yeah, it adds up. And it's so prophetic. Like these texts that
were written thousands and thousands of years before Jesus are so prophetically perfect to the
historical figure of Jesus and what happened. Yeah. It's it's crazy. And I know that that's like so
basic. Well, it's like, yo, you're a Christian. You should believe this. But like, I feel like my eyes
have been opened to. It kind of probably makes your faith even deeper. Oh, so much deeper. Before you're
probably just acting so much out of faith. And then whenever you're like, wait, it actually makes sense and it adds up.
It's like, oh, no, like this is real. No. It's like the. It's like the.
deep tracks. And so, and so then I will get into what you were asking about. So then what happens.
It's so interesting. You have to. So then what happened is I read this book and I'm not going to
get into like the theology side too much. But in the unseen realm, basically one cosmic event was
when Eve fell to Satan. Okay. So that was kind of the fall of man. And then the other cosmic event
was basically, and this is like super deep tracks. But there's a,
I'm trying to figure out if I want to go on this path.
Okay, so basically, like, what happens is then there's in Genesis, it talks about, like,
in these times there were giants.
Have you ever heard of that?
Like the Nephilim.
So the Nephilim were basically giants that multiple cultures, even outside of, like, Hebrew
culture, like, you go into South American culture, like,
the Aztecs, all of them refer to giants.
Okay.
So there was a time where giants, i.e.
the Nephilim, were on earth.
And basically what Genesis alludes to is that spiritual beings, angels or fallen angels,
mated with humans.
And that was like basically the offspring called the Nephilim.
And God didn't like that.
God did not like that.
Right.
And so that was like the second major like cosmic event.
Okay.
So here's where it gets crazy.
So these Nephilim are like actually like very villainous beings in the Bible.
Right.
So like when in the Old Testament, when God was trying to lead Israel to the promised land,
they came up to, I forgot what the region was, but they basically needed to pass through this region,
but it was controlled by giants.
And so like it's always kind of a conflict between these like beings, these Nephilim.
beings and humans and Israel God's people in the Bible. Okay, so let's just for the sake of
argument say that the Nephlam are fallen angels that once again are giving men or giving
man forbidden knowledge that they're not supposed to have. Okay. Okay. So good. Let's park
there. So there's a book called fingerprints of the gods. Okay. And I've seen this guy like on Joe Rogan a
ton and he goes and he like tries to figure out like he's like almost like a journalist archaeologist
and he's trying to figure out like how were these like ancient civilizations built because there's
so much we don't understand about the pyramids or if you go into like south america like the
as tech like Mayan inca temples like they were like very advanced societies that we don't
understand like Machu Picchu is one of the seven wonders of the world so what's so crazy is
when you read like his findings like he digs really deep into all these like South
American cultures and like what they understood about religion and what they
understood about their you know formation stories and across the board whether
you're in Mexico whether you're in South America whether you're in mainland
China all of these civilizations reference basically a fall event so like got I
A triune God created man, then there were, they referred to them as bearded, pale-skinned men.
Okay.
Like Mexico, South America, like thousands of miles.
They all have that story.
They all have the story.
Like a male white bearded man visiting them.
Yes.
And this is not like theology.
This is like their historical records.
They all are like they visited us.
And they taught us astronomy, law.
civics, technology, metallurgy, like all of these things that like man at that time
based on like mainstream archaeology wouldn't understand or know, right?
So these bearded figures come over and then they all reference a great flood of it,
which is also biblical. So they're all like, okay, then a great flood happened.
And then we lost access to all of these like arts and things like that. So if you try and
connect the dots, it's basically like, we're the Nephilim, you know, these kind of fallen angels,
a set of beings or people group that taught them how to do these miraculous temples and things
that we still today don't understand. And then a flood event, you know, kind of wiped them out.
And what's so crazy. Because the flood happened because God was very angry with everything going on.
Yeah, it was like, it was destruction. It was like, I was wiping the slate clean.
But he promised he would never do.
that again. But he was like, I don't like what's going on. You guys are sleeping with
Nephilim or the giants and weren't like people like marrying their brothers and sisters
and stuff. I don't know about that. It was like crazy. No, right? Yeah, they were no,
probably. But okay, so, so here's what crazy is that most of these like, so we all we know is like
the temples that are like above ground. But if you look at like any geologists would say this.
So like now I'm on mainstream science. Any geologists would say like there was for sure
flood sometime post ice age and the sea levels rose like 120 meters so there are now like all of
these like ancient sort of civilizations that they're finding underwater right like in the ocean and um
so what were you asking me why i think they're demons no just i just want to hear all about this
okay so so there's all these like civilizations underwater now and so all of these uap five
files that came out. The craziest thing is that most of them, like, either they're like trans
medium, so they come in and out of the water, but like without any ripples or like anything
like that. And most of these like cultures of South America, et cetera, they all said, like,
there's like a very big significance with the sea. And, um,
So yeah, I don't know.
I think that that's like as far as I've gotten.
So I feel like I have that like cork board.
Yeah.
And it's like all these lines that I'm like disconnect.
But like, you know, I was talking to some guy at this like event last night.
And it was like a lot of Christians in the room.
And he was a pastor.
And I was like, oh man, man, like I'm reading the unseen realm.
And he knew it.
And he was like talking about it.
And it was cool to talk to someone who also like understands all this stuff because he was like, yeah.
I know like it's it's super biblical and I don't know I just feel like it's like really like
brightened up and like helped me understand are the aliens the nephalum I don't know I I truly do
think they're they're probably like if if they're real which like I don't know I didn't look at
the files were they pretty convincing they're saying like if they're like they're okay so
Steven Spielberg is coming out with a movie I love your conspiracy theories yes
What's it called?
Disclosure Day.
And like, we all have to admit on the internet, they for sure are ramping up disclosure.
Yeah.
Like, and you can say it's a sciop, maybe it is, but like they're for sure talking more about these aliens.
Yeah?
Yeah, for sure.
Okay.
So, like, the craziest thing about Steven Spielberg is he came out with that movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
And that was in the 1970s.
He released that movie.
but there's been so much that have come out in these files that like directly are accurate
to what he portrayed in that movie that they're like hey did he have specific knowledge like apparently
Steven Spielberg's always been big on aliens yeah ET right yeah he did ET and then he did
third first third encounters now he's coming out with disclosure day on the same year that they're
ramping up disclosure so these things do happen okay I have seen influencers be been hired by milk like literally
just like the milk, like milk that you drink. Yeah. And they're trying to change like the conception
of milk. And so they're trying to use influencers and use people and how to speak differently
about certain subjects. Like we've been hired, or we've been like approached by something in the
healthcare industry that like we're not even promoting a certain brand. You're promoting an ideal.
And that stuff happens. No, I mean like it's not. I think what.
people who are not in media need to understand is that if you have enough money and you have
access to probably like a set of 20 different agencies. Yeah. Across influencer, across paid media
across this, you literally can push really any message that you want on a people group. Like that
bacon and eggs are good for breakfast? Yeah. I mean, that was like the founder of PR, Edward Bernays,
wanted to sell more bacon. And so he created the American breakfast, which was like you should eat
two eggs and bacon every day for breakfast. And why would bacon ever be good for you for breakfast? It's so
bad for you. No, it's all, it's all media manipulation. Yeah. 100%. And it's really not that hard to do.
Yeah. Like I'll tell you another crazy story. So, um, I went to a bachelor party recently. And I,
we were at this, um, this event and I met this guy.
and he runs a clipping agency.
Do you know what that is?
Where they take your videos and clip them in a million different ways?
Yes.
And just push them on like so many bought accounts or like,
so it seems like this conversation is happening about something,
but it's really not.
It's just like this one agency just clipping.
Yeah.
So you basically take raw footage.
And like if you guys are on TikTok,
you can scroll TikTok and you'll see all of these clips.
And like let's talk.
example, Blake lively is the worst. No, let's take an easier example. So I know for this was covered in an
article by the New York Times just recently and Justin Bieber's Coachella performance. Okay.
Did you see that? So you probably saw a lot of clips that formed your opinion of like,
oh, it's so cool, he just had a laptop up there, right? Yeah. Okay. So he paid or his team or whoever
paid an agency, a clipping agency to basically have all of these quote unquote,
fan accounts or this is true this true 100% true these fan accounts to clip those
versions and position it within different ways that will go viral so like some
people would clip it because it okay here's how the infrastructure works there's a
clipping agency okay and then there's typically a sea of like high school
age kids and these these kids are given the raw footage with a brief that
says we want Justin Bieber to look like this, this or this. So probably positive, neutral,
or negative. Okay. And all of these kids are given general direction and then they're paid on a
CPM basis. So if their TikTok, their clips TikTok gets, say, a thousand views, they get, you know,
a dollar per thousand views. I'm making these up. I don't know the numbers. So these kids are
hijacking virality through framing and positioning of this raw footage.
But the reason that musicians or celebrities want this is because it keeps them relevant.
Right.
Because whatever's clipped and talked about becomes the popular culture of the time.
Right.
So I was talking to this guy at the bachelor party.
And he was like, yeah, like I run a clipping agency.
I said, that's so fascinating.
Tell me how that works.
And he was like, oh, it's so crazy.
You would not believe it.
And I was like, who do you work for?
And he was like, streamers are a big market.
So clavicular.
Clavicular and these big streamers, I've heard stories that they pay up to a million dollars a year for clipping services.
And so you think they have such a fan base.
You think like, oh my gosh, so many people are talking about clavicular.
These people are so famous, but it's artificial fame.
But that makes so much sense because sometimes our views are like way higher than like a celebrity's.
100%.
But everyone is talking about the celebrity.
No, the streamer market really, I think, pioneered this because they're the ones.
who found these clipping agencies or they formalized them into agencies. It's kind of like a gray
market. You probably had a guy that was like clipping for you and then the guy said, well, I should
start an agency. And so then like there's a couple shops that do it. And so this is the craziest story.
So he was like, yeah, streamers pay us a ton of money. They're spending like a million dollars a
year in clipping services to like boost their fame. And as you and I know, it's a self-fulfilling
prophecy because if you have the capital to fund your clipping, then brands aren't smart enough
to know that your growth is artificial. So then you make all this money and your rates go up,
which funds more clipping. And so you kind of have a monopoly on attention and fame.
But maybe your clipping is also increasing your followers. It is. That's what I'm saying.
So it's actually, it's actually genuine, authentic growth. Yes, but you can, okay, you think about it
like this. So like let's say I'm the CIA. It's like a it's like a hack to grow faster. Yes. Let's say I'm
the CIA. Okay. And I identify you have you ever heard like oh they're a Hollywood plant that like
conspiracy theory. Yeah. Okay. Let's say like the guy from um that scary movie. Uh, oh my gosh,
but the two girls are sitting in the hallway. The shining. The shining. Remember there was like a
they thought that there was an industry plant. Oh, St.
Stanley Krupp? Yeah. Yeah. Well, okay, let's say, let's say I'm, I'm, I'm part of the Republican Party, okay? And I want for
family values. You're Spencer Pratt. No, no, no, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, this is an easier example.
I'm part of the conservative party and I feel like family values are being attacked in America.
Okay. How would I solve that? You go to a blonde Mormon female,
I'm just I'm not Alex Cooper no no I'm not I'm not I'm not picking on her but like you go to a blonde
female who has seven kids okay Valeriea Farms and you say oh they don't there no one knows about them
but it's such an interesting family okay so you start getting them to create content then you
take that raw content yeah and then you give it to clipping services you give them a million
bucks to go get high CPMs think about how easy it would be to make ballerina farms famous well and
Bobby Altaff. Remember, they thought she was an industry.
Yeah, Bobby Altoff. It's a great, it's a great example.
So here's the craziest story about this guy who taught me about clipping.
He said, and I don't, listen, I don't think he's making this up.
I really don't because I was a stranger.
He was a Christian influencer. He's not going to lie at a Christian event.
No, no. This was at a bachelor party.
Oh, I'm sorry.
I don't know this guy. I met him.
He comes to me and he tells me the craziest contract we ever got.
Are you allowed to say this?
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know him.
So he said, no, it's fine.
He said the craziest contract they ever got was the government of a country.
Yeah, this happens. Israel?
No, I'm not going to say the country.
So a government of a country, no, this is crazy, gave them drone footage of like buildings and all these things being blown up.
And they had a very specific brief of how they wanted the American minds to respond to the war effort on XYZ other country.
And I go-
For some reason, I feel like you're not supposed to do this.
And I go, well, it's not my fault.
But I go, hey, let me ask you this.
I said, do you think that anything on the internet is real?
And he said, no.
Our stuff is real.
Yeah, and maybe that's what people feel.
You're saying it's not?
No, maybe that's what people feel is that they, that's why your engagement is high is because they're like, oh, like this, Danny's not an industry plant.
It's real.
But like.
But what if I am?
I would love to be.
But maybe I'm kidding.
Maybe I am.
You don't know.
So anyway, I don't know what I'm saying is.
Like, it's crazy.
It's just nothing is real.
Nothing is what it seems.
Well, okay.
So then have you heard about the.
dead internet. No, tell me more. See, I love, I, I get so annoyed whenever you have all these,
like, such interesting information and you don't share it with me. I feel like you're trying
to make me dumb. No, I'm not. You know so much. That's the biggest,
conspiracy theory. That's the biggest conspiracy theory. So the dead internet theory is basically
that, like, no opinion on the internet is actually real because the algorithms are so in control
of what we see. And behind the scenes, it's like also bought and paid for probably by like government
NGOs. And it's just this kind of like mass sort of manipulation campaign. And it's too hard to
break through, you know, the internet. And the best example of this is like when, you know, Elon Musk bought
Twitter, you know, how much of the accounts were like bots? It was a very, very, it was a very, very large.
And he cleared that out, right? And he cleared it out.
How much was it? Do you know?
I mean, ask chat.
Yeah.
I got it now.
Ask chat, JBT.
But the Wall Street Journal.
When Elon Musk bought Twitter, how many accounts were bots, 20% or higher?
Yeah.
So in like the, it's like a confirmed mainstream media, like investigative report that like governments have giant warehouses.
Like the Saudi government did it with just massive bot farms.
commenting on Twitter at the time and like shaping public perception not through the tweets but
through the comments because it's all comments that's like where you really so you look at a post
and you're like oh man like what like think about your behavior you look at a post and then you go
to the comments and you're like oh what do people really think oh that's what they really
think and you do remember reading through COVID like we were in Texas okay so COVID basically
didn't exist here but you would get on Twitter and you would be like
Okay, wait.
Craziest things are happening in the world.
And then you go outside and you're like, wait.
There is such a disconnect from my reality and what I am feeling in the world versus what I am reading here.
And then he buys Twitter, 20% of them were bots that were literally shaping division and an opinion around this topic.
And so, like, you think about like cyber warfare.
If I was another government, the way that I would really attack America.
America is like by just kind of deconstructing their family structures, like creating division
between one another, like creating arguments on the internet. And then the algorithms like feed off of
that. And so, and then look at us today. We all, we all just hate each other. We fight. But I think
it's fake. That's the thing is we need each other online and then we go out in public and nobody's
fighting like that. And that's welcome to the theory of the dead internet. Except I do think it's
happening in schools. That people hate each other.
Yeah, like I think that like the way that parents are treating teachers and just like schools is actually horrible.
I know that's kind of random.
That's so random.
I mean to say.
But I think it's just like the one thing that like I keep hearing about on the internet.
But then like every time I talk to a teacher, they're like, yeah, it's brutal out there.
Yeah.
Like I think that's like the one thing that I'm like, oh yeah, it actually is.
Yeah.
I mean.
So what's the answer?
The answer, I honestly think the answer.
is you should consume less internet.
Yeah, for sure.
I think it's like, I, I, I, it's literally a device that you literally, it, um, someone said this, um, you know how Christians love to use sound bites?
Yeah.
They're like, like, like, every pastor's like, it's not this, it's that.
And everyone's like, amen, brother.
Yeah.
So I was at this event, I was telling you about like, and it was like an app that's trying to be, um, like a Christian Instagram.
Okay.
And there was one sound bite that was really good.
And they said, if you think about it, like our kids that are on social media are being
disciples by algorithms.
Yeah.
And I thought that was like so good because literally every swipe on a TikTok is a little bit
of shaping of how you understand the world.
Yeah.
And when you're a kid and you're so malleable.
It's so formative.
But that's why my kids will not have social media.
No, and even like when we, when Stella was watching those Disney movies and then she'd be like, like, like, she's like princess. Like she thinks that she just like deserves the world because so we don't even really watch Disney movies anymore. It's just media so powerful. I know. It's so powerful. Yeah. I mean, I even some of Stella's mannerisms like, okay, I used to love like that's So Raven. And like I would watch her mannerisms and try to like no, I know. Yeah. And I, you know, Stella's like already like brushing her hair before she goes out the door and I'm like, Stella, you look great. And I'm like, Stella, you look great. And I'm like, you look great. And I'm. You look great. And I'm. You know. And I'm like, you look great.
And she's like, I wanted to be straight.
And like all of, all of these.
And I'm not saying that that can't happen just from like her social.
No, that's happening from like comparing herself at school.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That just happens.
But man, that's already hard enough.
And then you add social media to it.
It's brutal.
That's why I just really think we need to get chickens in Nashville.
I want to ask you.
Does chick.
Do you need like, I wish we could listen to back to every single podcast.
I'm being talking about me.
serious, that's also why I want to put, like, she's going to do, like, horseback riding.
I don't, I'm not saying she's going to like it.
But, like, I want my kids to have activities that get them outside and get them outside of, like, their home and get them into nature and, like, caring for an animal.
Like, I think you just, like, learned so much about all of that.
And that's why I think horseback riding is so cool because, like, you learn how to respect an animal.
There's rules to the game.
Like, you know, apparently it's very expensive, but not to buy a horse just to write one.
Yeah, no, I don't know anything about horseback riding, honestly, but apparently there's like a barn there that just.
Yeah, no, it's kind of like a country club to join the barn.
It's, it's up there in terms of the most expensive things.
Well, we also really like tennis, so that's good.
But I would love to know, to learn more about chickens.
Do you need space to have chickens?
Like, or can we get chickens in Brentwood?
Or is that weird?
I think it's a little weird.
Is it?
You know, wait, tell me why.
Let me just say something. Okay.
Wait, I want to have chickens because also we eat like 20 eggs a day.
But also I want my kids to be able to like wake up in the morning and like go get the eggs.
How many times do they lay eggs?
I took you out to Leepers Forge and I put you on 10 acres and you had a panic attack.
I'm just telling you all the things that you're wanting you're going to want next year.
How many eggs does a chicken lay a day or week?
So how many chickens do we need like four?
I know they stink.
About one egg per day.
So usually five to seven eggs per week.
Oh, this will be great.
The only thing is you got to watch out for like coyotes and foxes.
Been Brentwood.
Babe, I had bobcats in my neighborhood growing up and I grew up in Dallas.
We had bobcats.
We really did have coyotes.
No, I'm saying we have coyotes too on our street.
Are you kidding?
In Nashville, they're like right next to the mountains.
There's going to be.
Yeah.
Our chickens are going to get eaten.
I know.
And then you learn about the cycle of life.
Mm-hmm.
And not to be a vegetarian.
Bold.
But we are going to have to be vegetarians because we're going to get that,
that tick disease that's going around.
Oh, in Nashville?
Yeah.
Or everywhere.
But also is that propaganda?
That's just that's just people trying to get people to not move to Nashville.
It almost got me.
You can convince people of anything.
I know.
So can I be serious for a second?
The city of Nashville is like, let's release a story.
No.
So in all seriousness, I'm going to tie all this together in a bow.
Okay.
Okay.
I've thought a lot about what you and I do.
Media.
Okay.
Okay.
And I think it is so powerful.
And I mean this sincerely.
I've been thinking a lot about like, so God created man to be imagers of his goodness, kindness, grace, etc.
Okay.
So I feel like what I've had an epiphany on is I think what's so cool about what you do,
is I think that you on your platform are like a really great imager of like God's characteristics.
Well, thank you, babe.
I really do.
And I think you remember we were talking in the car and I was like, you,
you were telling me that you secretly have visions or prophecies for your life.
This is big.
First time she ever told me.
Sure.
And you were kind of like bearing it.
And I was like, well, why do you think like, why do you think God wants you?
you to have this platform.
And you said to me, you go, I think it's because he knows I can handle it.
And what you meant by that was that you knew that it wasn't going to go to your head
and it wasn't going to change your character.
How many followers do you have, et cetera.
And that's what I always tell people.
I'm like, the craziest thing about Danny is that like it doesn't change her.
Yeah.
I go back to this lot.
We won that EY Entrepreneur of the Year award.
And I got up on stage.
And I literally was like, I'm not built for this because it went straight to my head.
I think about that speech.
And I was like, that was me dipping my toe in the water to be like, can I handle what you've given Danny?
And the answer was no.
No.
And it's okay.
I'm totally cool with it.
I understand my boundaries.
But like, you really can't handle it.
And I think that as we moved to Nashville and as just like you stop having kids and get your pink back.
Oh, did I tell you about my other prophecy, though?
but as you get your pink back i've seen you like more excited and like working and you know
you have kind of that joy back into like what you feel purpose in and i just think that
i think that god really wants me to tell you that like i think your purpose is to just be you
because this platform and i have people come up to me all the time and tell me this like oh my gosh
we love Danny, like she's this or she's that. And I think that that's just what he's happiest
with. Thanks, babe. That's good encouragement. And so I think you should just keep doing it.
Oh, thank you, honey. Well, I know you're going to do it whatever I say or not. But yeah,
I just think there's, I think there's more purpose to it now that I understand this theology of
like why God made us. I think there's more purpose to it than I saw before. There's more purpose
to being like image bearers. Yeah, but there's also responsibility with it too. Yeah, you know.
You know, and I think that, I think, I don't think we were perfect in the responsibility side of it, but I do think I feel, it's kind of like a pastor. A pastor feels really the responsibility of stewarding like a church. And I think that I'm just like realizing that you are stewarding a platform. And I think you're doing great. Thanks, fair. I think you're doing great on this podcast too. Because you don't show up any other social media.
Seriously, I think it's great.
Kim. Last thing, and then we'll wrap. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I just think life is so
much we're trying to say that we understand it. Yeah, no, I agree with you. People are going to
think I'm so crazy after this podcast. I don't think so. I think they might. It depends on,
if you feel like he's crazy, you should read the book. Yeah. I mean, no, listen, I don't think
they're right in the am crazy. I'm just saying they might not be at the deep tracks yet.
I think you'd be surprised.
Because every time I meet people and they listen to this podcast, they're always like, I love when Jordan talked about this.
Or I love when he goes deep on that. Because I think we're all questioning things now too.
Yeah. I mean, you can't not be.
And honestly, if anyone's, unless you're like sitting and watching like mainstream news all day, like how are you not questioning everything?
Honestly, I think the people that are questioning are the bots.
That's real.
Honestly, can I ask you something? Do you think that I should get you on a clipping service?
I've really thought about this.
We should get you on a clipping service about the clippers.
No.
Like,
like,
here's what I was thinking,
honestly,
this is my strategy.
Let's try.
Let's just try something.
No,
here's something funny.
Your house,
our house design,
your house design is going to be so polarizing.
It's going to be so love or hate it.
It is not that crazy.
Oh my gosh.
I was like,
I literally was thinking about creating a brief and be like,
hey,
like, let's clip this.
Let's talk about how ugly it is.
And your viral moment is,
not like, you know. It's like, is it ugly or pretty? Yeah, yeah. It's kind of like, like, your
version of virality will be like, like opinions from moms over dumb things. I just went viral and
it was authentic and it was real. It was my birth. I already had my viral moment. I know, but can you
imagine if we would clip that too? That's the first time I've ever like, that just organically was
clipped. That's the first time I've ever really gone viral. It's kind of fun, honestly. Because
like so many, it still goes viral to this day. Like every time I open my phone, there's like,
people in different countries commenting on like how crazy I am or how it's like it's fun whenever it's
like not your character that they're attacking yeah no I mean as long as you are good with like I feel
a couple years ago you wouldn't have been able to handle it yeah it's fine yeah now you're good
with it I think I think run some clips see what happens I it's got to be around like I don't
them to like clip our family or like no no no just things that like I don't want to fight but like
like I think the house but the thing is is like Lori Paranjapay is helping
me with the house. So it's not going to be ugly. No, it's not going to be ugly, but it's definitely
it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. Right. Yeah, we could try it. If she's on board,
I don't want to like bring her into it. It's kind of like, whatever. Yeah. Jake Paul's doing
fine. I know, but like these are like industry leaders and I don't want them to be pulled into
the drama. You know, it's got to be something that's just like on our own. Oh. You know what I mean?
Because then it's like, it's not Danny's work.
It's her.
Like, I don't want to like hurt somebody and their reputation.
No, I think it only will benefit her for sure.
Yeah, we'll talk.
We'll ask her.
I'm like, hey, can we run this clipping campaign?
We're about to devote a million dollars to it.
Okay, good talk.
Okay, we love you guys.
We'll talk you later.
Bye.
