Starting point is 00:00:00 The following podcast is a dear media production. Hello and welcome back to your favorite podcast. De-influenced. Hi, babe. We're back. We've been jet-setting around Texas. Yeah, we had to go to Houston again. Yes.
Starting point is 00:00:23 So I went to Houston because Dr. Dooley had to make like a few last adjustments on my teeth before I moved to Nashville, which I do feel like I'm kind of talking a little weird because my teeth are like hitting my gums. or like the outside of my mouth at different places. Yeah, like you're... I'm adjusting. It's, uh, your teeth are bigger. Yeah, you're bigger, especially this one on this side. So like, I have bit my gum a few times, but she says like, I'll get used to it.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Yeah. I'm excited for you not to be numb because your, your numb face is very similar to your angry face. And I really cannot read how you're feeling at all. And you usually are a little bit more irritable after. I have been a little irritable. I think I'm like going through that like four month postpartum hormone dip and I'm just not maybe for sure yeah because I'm also having like really bad nights fits again and I've been like ruminating on like things about our kids and it's giving me anxiety and then I can't sleep and then I get mad
Starting point is 00:01:24 of Jordan and then it's like you haven't really gotten mad of me yeah I want to be fair I didn't go mad at you I've just been like I'll just look at you so crying yeah no I forgot of yeah last night was crazy. And I woke up, I'm like, I'm fine. Yeah, no, it's every day is for sure been something. God, this is why I like, I, I'm not saying all females are like this,
Starting point is 00:01:47 but just like, thank God I'm not president, you know, and like there are females that could handle it. I'm not saying it's like, you know, for all, I don't want to put myself in that position. But we've got to be, we've got to be wondering. But no, hey, you better be careful.
Starting point is 00:02:02 You are going to get destroyed. you're just like living with your first female ever that is going through all this thing you're probably just like a little and like a little shook but like I mean if somebody like if a country would have like trying to fight with me last night I'd I'd bomb them all I'm telling you no I mean really you shouldn't I should not be present like you you'll go to war and then I wake up the next day and I'm like oh major regrets man yeah you'll you'll go to war with like a you know I don't even know who you get mad at no the gate agent like six weeks ago and we were flying southwest this gate agent was so rude to me and like I can't stop thinking about him yeah he was so rude yeah that really was about six weeks ago yeah I know and it was I was there I witnessed it it really wasn't that bad and then sometimes there's been there's been way worse airport employees and but and then I saw these families traveling to Europe and I'm like triggered yeah I'm like I can't do that I know we were talking about this But it still piss me off.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I had to like mute some people. No, for sure. Like on stories. Like, I don't want to see this anymore. Who have you? I don't want to tell you this. Because y'all would know.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It's like, no, it's like so, it's, it's so mean. Like, I'm the problem. Like, they're great. Like, I'm the problem. And so I need to protect my peace and my mental health. And so it's like, okay. Sometimes people will be like, hey, Daniel, like I blocked. Like, I haven't followed your stories.
Starting point is 00:03:33 I had to block you for a little bit. Like, you're kind of getting on your nerves. I'm like, good for you. I honestly think that's healthy. If you had like the full weight of the U.S. military behind U.S. commander in chief, I'd just be like. I would be a little scared. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Just a bit more day. Just depends on the day. You just have to wake up and see how she's doing. Did she get her coffee or did she not? You know what I've really grown to appreciate. And I think this will get me points with the female crowd is. Okay. Okay. So you grow up and then you go through puberty. We all go through puberty. Okay. So that's a change. And then you have babies. And that's like a for your hormones. That's like up and down, up and down. And then you go through perimenopause, which is like pre metapause. Yeah. Then you go through metapause. And then you're dead. I mean, really, you get like 10 years of stability. Yeah. I would say you're
Starting point is 00:04:33 20 is they're probably the most stable, but is your frontal lobe? Yeah, no, that doesn't count because your frontal lobe's not developed. Yeah. It's not stable for any of us. It's hard to be a girl. Let me tell you what I've really been struggling these last couple of days because I went and got dip removed from my nails. Well, hold on. Is the, what, what decade or what 10 year span is like free and clear for you guys?
Starting point is 00:04:58 Probably like 35 to 45, right? Because when you're having babies. True. Unless you have them in your 20s. There isn't one. That's the point. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Like, I'm trying to tell you that there isn't one. And, like, that's why I need to tell you about my story about my meals. The hardest part about being feeling all right now is, okay, so I got the hormone drop. So I'm getting these horrible night sweats, like, covered in just, like, sweat when I wake up in the morning. I get, because of the hormones, I get these migraines before my left eye, okay? And then I'm irritable. I love you.
Starting point is 00:05:29 And then I'm sad. And then I'm, I don't really even hating you. So that's good. No, you don't hate me. But yeah. And then, you know, so it's like everything's all over the place. And then we're all like, whoa. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:05:40 And I'm like, I'm like, we're going this way. And it's like, no, we're going to. We're going to take all four of our kids to Lake Como. And I'm like, that sounds 50, 50. It'll be good. I'm like, no, Switzerland. And so then you have to go get your nelson on top of all of this. And to sit in the chair for.
Starting point is 00:06:03 two hours and not be able to use your phone. You just have to sit there because, like, they're working on your hands. It's like you lose your most valuable asset, your hands. You know? Your monos. And so, so I have for the longest time, I've been like, serious, I'm not doing this anymore. I have held up my middle finger to the nail industry. And I'm like, screw you. I'm going to take off my own nail polish. And then I'm like, with your little bare nails. So then I order acetone. home online. I have a great story about us.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Okay, we'll talk about it later. So then I try to take off my own dip and I can't. I literally am locked into the vicious cycle of the nail salon. So I have to go to the nail salon just to get the dip taken off so that I can paint my own nails. So anyway, I went in and I got my dip removed. And if they use that little like thing, kind of the same thing they use on teeth. The jibber jibbers, jibro jibber jibbers.
Starting point is 00:07:01 and they painted my nails with dazzle dry and now my nails feel like like open cuticle like super paper thin and it's like the wind like I feel the wind in my nails it's horrible it's a horrible feeling yeah you know and I can't open anything because like I try to open a coat can and my nails are so flimsy they just break off that's so hard I know and I'm just so like irritated by it but the good news is I'm going to go through this, this, and then I'm going, I already ordered some dazzle dry from Amazon and I'm going to start doing my own nails and they're going to strengthen. Because one thing about me, I wasn't born with the best hair, but I was born with amazing nails. My nails grow faster than anyone's nails ever. Like, if you think your nails grow faster than mine,
Starting point is 00:07:53 let's bet. Let's bet. Let's bet. Polymarket. Polymarket. Like, I'll race you. I know that nails is hard. You know why I know that? Because Stella didn't even want to do it. I know she's like, she talks about it all the time. She was like, no, I'm not going to have my hands tied up for two hours.
Starting point is 00:08:09 She's like, it's so boring. Yeah. And she used to love it. But like now she went to the nelson. She just sat there because she didn't want to get her nails in. I on the other hand found it to be a wonderful experience. You guys first pedicure. I had my first pedicure.
Starting point is 00:08:21 And then they come around. They're like, do you want a massage? And I was like, yeah. You're like, why? You're like, you're like, you've heard him. I was like, y'all. I was like, do I have to move? And she was like, no, we'll just do it right here.
Starting point is 00:08:31 And then she just like, while I was sitting in the chair, and it was the best. It's a wonderful place. It's a wonderful place. I on the other hand had my hands, my mom's. I was able to read a book. The best thing about you, there's a lot of other good things about you, but you have nice feet. Wow. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Yeah, like they're like. You've never told me that. Yeah, they're like nice and clean. Your toes are like, you know, everybody kind of has like a crazy toe. Like, you know, like, I have a couple that like, they're just like the Sasquash toes. Yeah. You know, those toes that are just like. Are you talking about your, your middle toe?
Starting point is 00:09:05 Oh, no, it's the fourth one. The ring? Yeah, it's like, it just like gets so skinny. Then it gets fat all of a sudden. They go skinny again. It's like, how did that happen? Right. And, yeah, and these are just all very like proportional.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Wow. It hasn't gotten me anywhere in life. I'll tell you that much. Well, have you ever tried? To sell my feet picks. Well, I mean, you said it. I mean, there's probably a market for it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Especially now you're creating the market. Now people are intrigued. Yeah, let's title this. But I did. The one about the flick. Well, actually, I did sell my feet on a picture once. Oh, yeah, we did. I broke my toe.
Starting point is 00:09:47 I found that picture the other day. It's so funny. I broke my toe. This was like 2019. I broke my toe literally in half. I was like searching. It was like literally like a 90 degree angle. No, this is.
Starting point is 00:09:57 was so funny about Jordan. So we were married and he was, oh, that's so bad. I forgot about that. He was on like a business call. And like we were living in a condo. So he's on this call. And then all of a sudden he's like, Danny, Danny. And he had the guy on mute that he was talking to. And I looked down and he had stumped his toe, his pinky toe. And it's literally 90 degree angle. Like what? It's like literally out of like a movie. Like you, it was like kind of like in the horror movies when like joints twists and turns in ways that they probably shouldn't like that was your pinky toe yeah i never got off the call though he never so he's like still and he's like he's like on mute he's like come on you got to go to the hospital and i'm like oh my god like i'm like grabbing my phone
Starting point is 00:10:43 like my mold i'm like freaking out and he's like yeah yeah yeah on the phone so we literally drive all the way i drive him all the way to the hospital or no like an ER clinic while he's still on the phone and then we had to get there and they like pop his toe back into place Yeah, but people really wanted to see the pick. And so I said, fine, you can see the pick. If you sign up for our email. If you joined Danny's email list. And I mean, biggest surge in history on that one.
Starting point is 00:11:08 I mean, yeah, we probably had like 100,000 signups or something. No, it was crazy. All these marketing gurus are like, how did you get there? We're like, yeah, it's just like his toe. Let me see. Yeah, I found it the other day broken, broken toe. I don't know why. Like, it just popped up the other day and I was like, why is that happening?
Starting point is 00:11:27 Broken. Oh. Maybe if I type. I've been waking up. I've been telling you this and I feel like no one's listening. But I've been waking up like sore. Like the like when I get out of the bed. The first steps I take, I'm like my feet are like sore.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Yeah. And I'm like am I just getting older? It's possible. That's crazy. I am a little. concerned about you that that that that's not normal yeah it's like it's like uh like but i mean the good news is when i take five steps i'm fine you know it's just like a blood flow thing weird maybe i don't know i think i need to start stretching i need to focus on my mobility
Starting point is 00:12:15 maybe you're taking too many peptides i thought about that i did research that and they're like no it said no no no that was like where my mind first went as i was like hmm I had a Dexa scan I was supposed to get this week and I did it. I got canceled. I'll check my button in city. You should probably get a Dexter skin still. Yeah, no, I'm going to get a XA scan still. Yeah, either or.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I'm going to do both. I'm going to do both. Yeah. Yeah. Just to make sure things are good. Yeah. You know. I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I was going to say something. I can't remember anything. About my toe. It was about my toe. No, I forgot. I lost it. One thing I've learned as a parent is that you're constantly trying to make good decisions for your kids, but sometimes it feels like you're just guessing. Are they getting what
Starting point is 00:13:02 they need nutritionally? Are we covering all our bases? With four kids, those are things we think about a lot. That's one of the reasons we've loved first day. It's the one brand I feel good about using for our whole family because it just simplifies everything. They actually make different formulas for toddlers, kids, teens, and adults, so it's tailored to your stage of life instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach. What also stood out to us is how transparent they are about their ingredients. There's no added sugars, no artificial dyes, and nothing unnecessary. Everything is tested for more than 200 toxins and has earned the Clean Label Purity Award. Honestly, it just makes me feel better knowing we're covering our bases.
Starting point is 00:13:40 It takes the guesswork out of it, and with busy schedules, that's one less thing to think about. Plus, it's just two gummies a day, so it's easy to stay consistent. Over a million families use first day, and they also offer a 45-day money-back guarantee. For a limited time only, our listeners are getting an insane deal. Use code Danny to get up to 57% off at first day.com. That's up to 57% off and a free gift with code Danny at first day.com. After you purchase, they will ask you where you heard about them. Please support our show and tell them our show sent you.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Okay, moms, I need to tell you about something I've genuinely been loving lately. I'm four kids in. Smith is still so little. Summit just turned one. And I feel like I'm in that season where my body is doing a lot and needs all the support it can get. that's why I started taking Parallel's daily resilience complex. One thing that immediately stood out to me is that it contains lactoferrin, which is the active protein found in colostrum, except this version is dairy-free and doesn't involve taking colostrum from baby cows. Instead,
Starting point is 00:14:42 parallel isolates the lactoferrin through fermentation so you get those immune and gut health benefits without the dairy. And honestly, I love how simple it is. It's one unflavored scoop that I can throw into my morning coffee or smoothie and not have to think twice about. The daily resilience complex also includes 10 grams of collagen peptides to support hair, skin, nails, and joint health, which I know a lot of postpartum moms can appreciate. What I really love is that it was formulated by doctors and nutritionists. It's safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding, and it pairs really well with your prenatal or postnatal routine. Right now, it feels like one of those things that's genuinely in my corner while my body recovers and adjust to this season. If you're pregnant, postpartum, or momming,
Starting point is 00:15:21 you need to check out parallel. I cannot recommend it enough. I had them give me an exclusive just for you. New customers can use code Danny and get 20% off your first order at parallelhealth.com slash Danny. That's P-E-R-E-L-E-L-Halth.com slash Danny. If you've got kids, you know that keeping up with everybody's schedule can feel like a full-time job. Between school activities, appointments, sports, church, work, and everything else, there are a lot of moving pieces. And if you're anything like us, half the battle is just making sure everybody knows what's going on. That's why we've really loved Skylight Calendar. Skylight Calendar is designed to bring families together for more time. It's an all-in-one digital smart calendar that syncs seamlessly with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar,
Starting point is 00:16:05 outlook, and more. So everything is in one place instead of spread across multiple apps, texts, and sticky notes. One of my favorite features is that you can manage events, chores, and grocery lists while assigning colors for each family member. It makes it so much easier to see who needs to be where and what needs to get done. The task feature also helps kids build healthy routines and independence. Things like brushing teeth, homework, and chores become fun and rewarding. And Skylight stands behind their product. If in four months you are not 100% thrilled with your purchase, you can return it for a full
Starting point is 00:16:37 refund. No questions asked. Families are better when they're working together. Right now, Skylight is offering our listeners $30 off their 15-inch calendars by going to my skylight.com slash Danny. Go to my skylight.com slash Danny for $30 off your 15-inch calendar. my S-K-Y-L-I-G-H-T dot com slash Danny. Have you been seeing what's been going on with the D'Milios?
Starting point is 00:17:02 You know, I was so distant. I was so distant. I know I could tell that you couldn't sleep last night. No, no, I'm actually being slightly serious on this one because I think it's so sad. I know. And we always like respected the way that they like raised for kids and tipped their family together. But I also was super skeptical.
Starting point is 00:17:21 I was like, there's just no way. These are teenage girls. Like really? I felt like you and I both were like they've done a really good job at keeping their family unit together like the businesses they launch are together like their kids are still they have a like a show about their family like they've always kept their kids very close yeah do you watch the show? I don't think I watched it either. Oh is it are they talking about the drama? Well, why don't you tell everybody about the drama? Well, all I saw was that Mark Demilio went on a live and Instagram live and was like. basically disclosed he hadn't talked to his daughter, Charlie, since 2025. So sad. So sad. And to me, it came across as like very defensive. Well, I think that, I think I could be wrong, but I think they were like legal battle. There's like a legal battle. Yeah. I don't know if that's true or not. But it was very defensive.
Starting point is 00:18:15 And his argument is basically that she's being like brainwashed by her brains. brainwashed by like the people in her corner and you know he was like this said it would happen in LA and there's kind of like weird part of the live where he kind of like not compared himself but like brought up like Michael Jackson's dad and like these like parents of stars who like pushed their kids and he was like I never wanted to be that but it was just like very not mature in my opinion to go on a live and talk about something that's so private and personal when you know like your daughter's gonna you know see it and maybe he felt like his back was against the wall but to me it kind of made him seem a little bit more guilty yeah and like it just makes me feel
Starting point is 00:19:02 like he cares more about his public perception yes than like his family because did you ever see when that happened with the beckons no but i i know well so like uh the youngest beckham or the one that just got married what's his name uh Brooklyn Brooklyn Beckham but got married to whatever her name is. This other girl. Yeah. And I'm so bad with facts. Who do you get married to?
Starting point is 00:19:29 Yeah, it helps. It's like a big wealthy family. Yeah, yeah. Nicola, right? Nicola. Nicola. Yes. So Brooklyn got married to Nicola.
Starting point is 00:19:37 And he basically made this like public statement about his family and how he, like, how his family cares more about, you know, public perception and more about like the way. wedding and more about like every it not didn't care about like them and their relationship and about nicoletta and he made it all public and like david beckham's response was just like so matured and it was like yeah exactly like we love you like i'm sorry you feel this way like we we would love that relationship with you 100% like didn't go and like defend himself because it's like i mean you're on an instagram live and like he's like literally reacting to people throwing questions at him And he's like name dropping.
Starting point is 00:20:22 He's like, you should look up this person who's on our team and like trying to get the internet like really stoked around like these people on her team. And it just is such a bad look. But the allegation is that. They were taking money out of Tories. Heidi and Mark Dimmelier were taking money's money out of accounts that were for her as a minor and then transferring them into other accounts. And honestly, most likely they were.
Starting point is 00:20:49 and here's what they launched a shoe company they managed her they managed her have you heard they moved to la for her have you heard of the shoe company since it launched i don't even know it's called demilio shoes or something and then like they launched this popcorn brand i remember seeing the popcorn brand i was like dude how how's this going to make money like that that doesn't make sense and you and i both know that when you launch something like that you have to put your entire heart soul and storytelling power behind it or else it's going to go boop and then just completely flop. To me, I've seen a couple like interviews with him and I think that there's two sides of his brain. And I think that both can be true at the same time.
Starting point is 00:21:37 The first is that I want my kids to have businesses that can stand on their own so they don't have to be a slave to the internet that attacks them every day. Like that was our philosophy. I totally get it. But at the same time, it's like now you're kind of like this public figure CEO of the D'Amelio brands and you're raising money under the D'Melio brands. But the D'Melia brands is like actually just your children. So it's just like from a dynamic operating standpoint, it's it's so messy. And it has so much room for error to ruin your family. Because. you're now like taking something that your daughter probably loved. Like I saw this clip from their show and she was like, my dad's just such a fun sucker. Like I just want to like dance and make TikToks. And like he just like makes everything fun unfun.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Why? Because he stepped in and was like, like it's kind of how like you and I were early on when we started working together. It's like you think you're doing the right thing by taking something that like, you know, these creators love to do and then trying to kind of like build it into something bigger, but sometimes building it into something bigger is the exact thing that makes it unfun or starts the race to the bottom, you know, like as it became an empire, like you lost sight of Dixie and Charlie being sisters and like, you know, just making content together. Then you
Starting point is 00:23:12 move them to LA. Then Dixie is like real not well. you know and then they both go off social media and they come back on and it's like i don't know it's just so and then you're he's going to take the blame no matter what so i understand him trying to defend himself but it's like man you you probably took your eye off the ball of the family because you created this thing that was so large that left no room for error or margin in anything failing so that it's so hard because you know for a fact that at one point in time charlie and dix really Like, come on, dad, help us.
Starting point is 00:23:49 We want to be to LA. Like, help us launch his brand. Like, we want it. Like, dad, like, you come work for us and then you get 20% of everything. And then what happens is he sacrifices everything, moves out to L.A. Then he gets, he gets stuck in the cycle. He's working with all these people. He has all these brands that are relying on him.
Starting point is 00:24:07 And so then he's calling him saying, hey, we need Charlie to post about the popcorn. So then he's the guy that has to say, hey, Charlie, like. And their living expenses go up. Their lifestyle expenses go up to try to keep up. And then Dixie and Charlie are not working as much. So then they need money and then they pull money out of Charlie's account. Well, you know, they feel like it's fair because they sacrificed everything to get there. And so it's, I see both sides.
Starting point is 00:24:29 No, it's a, it's a giant S-H-I-T show. It probably is. And but I think the one thing that made it worse was going on Instagram live and trying to defend yourself. Yeah, because at the end of the day, it's like, that's going to come back and hurt your daughter. She didn't even do that. He hasn't even made any public comment. And like he's doing it, but I kind of feel like what's also probably going on is that his entire reputation for himself. So his entire ego, his entire sense of accomplishment, his entire sense of worth is tied directly to his daughter.
Starting point is 00:25:06 Daughters, you know, and- Well, people loved their parents. They were kind of like the internet mom and dad. They loved the family. But like, like, just keeping that together, keeping it truly authentic when like showbiz wants to come in and make it all these other things. It's so hard. It's so hard. I feel for him. Honestly, what I want to do, I don't know him at all. But what I would want to do is be like, have him on podcast. Oh, no, truly. Okay, reach out to him. What I would want to do truly is be like, you guys like need to move out L.A. L.A. destroys everyone. It destroys everything in its wake. marriages.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Everything. I think it'll be really interesting to see what happens to the marriages in the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the L.A. edition. Oh. Yeah, I think I'll be really interesting to see. Oh. Who's in that? Sorry.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Bobby Altoff. Avery Woods. Yes. Madison von Tempo. Well, look at what happened to the Utah ones. I mean, what are they? But they all moved to L.A. A lot of them like, no.
Starting point is 00:26:13 But the marriages, like, what are they like 50-50 now? Like Taylor was always Including this the the scandal TikTok scandal It's probably like 70 30 Oh we can't include that That that's what made them Yeah but I mean that ended that was like what That was three marriages that
Starting point is 00:26:32 That ended because of that Ugh It's so bad It's so hard Fame and money man Fame and money it'll destroy you It just will destroy you I mean
Starting point is 00:26:43 Thank God we did it the right way putting your mother on Instagram. No, but honestly, you know what we did? You know what you did? What? I think that we did it well. And here's why is we gave her an opportunity and now we have nothing to do with it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Like, you know. It's like, here, mom. It's like. No, it really. I mean, we, I feel like I helped her out, you know, you obviously pushed it. And then I helped hire her, her first two employees. and set up her payroll and like do all that stuff. And then I was like, hey, you're now making.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Fly birdie fly. And she soared. She's on a cruise. Yeah. Every week. She's like in New York with KVC. But like I think that that's the right way because then we don't have any bounds to her.
Starting point is 00:27:38 She doesn't feel like we owe anything. It's just the right way. Yeah. I'm very good with like boundaries when it comes to work and friends. and family. Yeah. Like I am like, and it's not because I just woke up and I was good at it. It's because I've learned from many mistakes.
Starting point is 00:27:56 Yeah. But like I think it even, I think it even like annoys people how much like I keep my boundaries because people are like, oh, just this one time or just like, Danny, it's fine. And I'm like, no, because it's never just this one. It's never just this one time. And it's never just this photo shoot and it's never just this. It's like all these. Because then and this is never.
Starting point is 00:28:17 happen, but let's say your mom's like, hey, I'm doing this or I'm launching this and I want you to be in this photo shoot. Okay. Well, let's say that photo shoot makes the launch do really well. Yeah. Then it's not just that one time. It's like, then the brand's going to come back and be like, hey, you know, it works really well whenever it was Danny and you. And so then. But it's like, it's not even about the logistics. Sometimes it's just like the expectations that people want from me that I feel guilty to. Like I, it emotionally impacts me. So I just try not to even go there. You've gotten so much better.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Do you remember, oh man, like 20, 21? You had just like vultures all over you with these expectations, you know? Yeah. Because I feel like your boundaries have gotten so much better. Yeah. Because I like won't do like I will not do like collabs and stuff that are like, like if I want somebody to do something for me. Like I always pay them. Like my friends are in my shoots.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Like I pay them. Like because and everybody like my friends are like, dude, we have to pay us. I'm like, you don't understand. Like, it's for the health of our relationship. It's, it's for just keeping everything fair because, like, life gets really busy. And sometimes you miss those little things that rub people the wrong way. And so I just, like, sometimes I'm not able to prioritize my friendship. So I never want my friends to feel that resentment towards me.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Because sometimes they know they're not going to become first in my life. And so sometimes it's going to be families. Sometimes it's going to be health. Sometimes it's going to be my kids' school or whatever. And so, and friendships are different in different seasons of life. And so I'm just like, I just don't want to go. I want it always to be there. No, for sure.
Starting point is 00:29:52 You've gotten so much better at it. I was going to say something too. And I even have gotten better about how much I give to people. Like, sometimes I've given people like these like extravagant gifts because I'm so gracious. Like, you know, I was like giving. Or if you're around when Danny's cleaning out her closet, you are about to make bank on some trash bags of clothes. So true. Our cleaning lady will make out like a bandit.
Starting point is 00:30:18 I'm not going to say you, but I had someone like in my closet. And I'm like, I really like this Louis Vuitton backpack. I was like, you can have it. I kind of regret it. Sometimes I think about it. I'm like, I really wish I had that. I was like just in one of those modes. I was like, oh, you just have it.
Starting point is 00:30:30 There is one area in terms of like work expectations that I'm a little bit concerned about that I haven't brought up to you. Wait, I didn't finish my story. Not I lost it. Oh, I thought it was over. No, I was saying, oh, oh, I think I was just saying, oh, there's been times in the past where I've been too gracious. I've just been, you know, like, on one of those modes, you're like, I was going to buy them like this thing. Like, you know, because you're just like, I just want to like bless them. Yeah, like the other night when you like, out of nowhere, you made me a taco.

Head to Wayfair.com right now to get your outdoor space ready for Wayless. That's W-A-Y-F-A-R.com. I know. Out of nowhere. Even your dad goes, what's going on? And she goes, he goes, is it like this every night and I go, no, Mark.
Starting point is 00:35:18 I actually don't know what's going on right now. I know. You know why I did that. No, I don't. Well, I love you. But also, like, I just know that I'm, like, really good at making tacos. And it pains me to see you cook sometimes. And, like, I just want to do to have a good taco.
Starting point is 00:35:36 You just don't do it right sometimes. And I was like. I don't think I've ever made a taco. I know. But, like, I have seen you make them. And it's just. It's different. It's sad. And I was like, this man deserves to get talked about.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Yeah, okay. Like, prepare it the right way. Well, my learned. You know, the cheese melted the exact, like, and then just like the right amount of sauce and like the tortillas heated up. Like, Jordan would just take a tortilla and like eat it cold. And I'm like, this poor man. That my learned hopelessness is working. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:05 It's just. I'm like, oh. I'm like, how do I make a dog? He's like, I'm so hungry. Am I? Who's it way? He's like, there's nothing to eat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:14 Um, uh, so you were saying. So anyway, I was just saying like, you know, I've gotten better about not being too gracious. That's good. I would, so my, like I'll give you a gift, but like I'm not going overkill because I've learned better. Yeah. Because then I'm like, why didn't you get me something nice to you? For sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Um, you know, there is one area. I'm, I'm a little bit worried about your. boundaries. Like I think that they've been breached. Oh, my work boundaries. Okay. Um, I think. Oh, because I was texting the divvy team on it Sunday morning. No, no, no, no. I day apologize for that. And that was their fault. So I'm saying, no, I'm saying, um, like, for example, you were talking about how sometimes when you ask for things, then it like creates this like debt and then like, the expectations are on you. Um, I'm curious what you're going to say. Well, you got to, you got a, you That is for no real reason, in my opinion, you got us like free toilets for our new house.
Starting point is 00:37:21 And yeah, also like, you know, a swing set and like, you know, there's just there's a lot of things that are, it's, I. Okay, but here's a lot of brand debt. Here's that you're creating on this house. But here's the thing that you don't realize. I went after them. No, I'm, I'm aware. They didn't come after. They didn't come to me and say, hey, do you want to work with you.
Starting point is 00:37:41 I said, I want to work with you. No, I know. And I don't usually do that. No, you don't. I don't reach out to France. You've been going hard. Because I wanted that. I think you got us like a free iron door.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Like who even knew that they would know what Instagram was? First of all, you're saying on these things and nothing has been signed and no contract. So like we don't know if I knew that is even true. I guess you'll have to keep falling. Like I mean, if someone, if someone came and offered us like door handles right now, I feel like you'd be like, yes, I will take it. What do you want? three story slides, two reels? What do you want? Well, it depends on like how bad I want them.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Right. I, yes, you, okay. You know what I'm saying. You know why I'm also doing that is because the love of the game. That, but also because it's helping me, it's holding me accountable for creating content about things that are cool. You know? Yeah. Because otherwise I'll just do something cool and I won't share it. I'm not really not worried about it. You got it. I and I are working on a document called How Much Money Jamie Saved with her brand partnerships on this house? Okay? And I'm going to present it to you
Starting point is 00:38:54 at the end of the year. I'm going to be like, that's the equivalent of three brand deals. And now you are locked into content for two years. It's like, it's like these brands like have like my face like flashing on ads like everywhere for like two years. Like I am the face of Iron Doors. So true. It's like you can't get on Instagram without seeing an Iron Door an ad. Yeah. No, I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:39:17 No, but it's like really interesting content that I want to be creating anyway. Like, let's just say I do get a swing set, Randolph. Let's just say hypothetically, like, I can't wait to make a video about that. Let's just say I get an iron door in my house in two different areas. And let's just say one of them is going into where a wine fridge would be. And let's just say I had to pick out the glass. Is it going to be fluted or not fluted? Like, I can't wait.
Starting point is 00:39:43 I want to make that video. Like I want to. And I honestly like the biggest reason why I want to work with them is because they know they're like more of experts than I am. So like I want to learn from them and then I want to share everything I learn. Yeah. Like why am I getting this size? Why is this important with this swing set? Why is the iron door? Like why did I do this color? Like what? You know, it's just so exciting. And babe. This toilet brand deal like it's it's the no it's not total, babe. Oh, I'm sorry. You're going to get me. Can't be. You're going to get me. Can't. from all these brands that are wanting to sponsor. Yeah, I know. I know that's why you don't like the word talking about this because I'm hurting your negotiations. You're in negotiations. I knew that. And like, first of all, I want cooler toilets.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Yeah. And there is a very specific toilet. Toto's right now, like, shit. Literally. No. Literally. No, I want cooler. And there's a very specific like Studio McGee collab toilet that I want.
Starting point is 00:40:41 And then there's this other toilet that be, It literally like has like gold. It's actually brass that looks like gold. Okay. And so I, you can ask anyone on my team considering like you don't really know what's going on with my business right now, which is a totally healthy thing. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:41:01 But everyone knows that I am most excited about this toilet grand deal. No, I know. I know. The content is going to be so fire. And I just can't wait. I cannot wait to share all my toilets with everybody. No, for sure. If there was an influencer that, like, could talk about toilets, it would be me.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Like, I am made for this. Are you going to a, you know how, like, you made your, you know, your natural birth content draw out for like two weeks. Everyone thought you were in a hospital. I'll probably do that with the toilet content. Well, I'd be like the house in general, but yeah, sure, the toilet too. I was going to say, like, I feel like your house content's going to go for like, like, it's, it's 2031. Danny's still talking about this house she moved into. Totally.
Starting point is 00:41:53 For sure. It should be. It's great. It's a new thing. Yeah. And if you, if you're a brand and you want to use my house as like. You better get in on this house. Like, she's about to talk to talk about it for the next six years.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Like, if you do hardware, if you do turf, like, you could do pipes and drains and all, like, you're welcome tile yeah concrete i don't need concrete but concrete's expensive maybe another house i would love to be sponsored by concrete yeah that's it's it's interesting you know what else is interesting that i think you should share i'm putting you on the spot but i think you can do this i want you to tell them about the crimson worm oh man i know she's thinking about how she's going to do this She forgot about 80% of it. Well, the scripture is in, um, okay, so let me, let me help you. Is it Ezekiel?
Starting point is 00:42:54 Yes, Danny, Isaiah. Isaiah. See, this is where. It's like so sad because like, you know, as a Christian, it's like we're called to memory scripture. But I'm like, what if God can be a little booing? It's not my fault. I feel like I want to learn and like I want to remember everything about the Bible.
Starting point is 00:43:12 but I just like can't and that's why sometimes I put on those shows that the kids watch and I just have to refresh my memories. It's like it's like the story about Joseph. She's talking about the Dead Seed Squirrels. No, I'm talking about the Bible series on Mino app. But it's like the story. You know what the one that always trips me up is Joseph and the the technical coat, the colorful coat. I can never remember that story. Do you remember it?
Starting point is 00:43:44 No. See, I know. And, but all I remember is that his brothers like really like are mean to him and throw him in jail or something. Anyway, I've literally watched that one like 18 times. And I can't remember. It's going to be so great because by the time we're retired and our kids are out of the house like I'm just going to take you to the same museum like over and over again.
Starting point is 00:44:03 And you're just going to. I'm like, what's 304-4-2? It's like 50 first dates. It's like we go through the same thing. I'm like, it's so sad. But, um, okay. So this is actually very cool. Was it Zika or Isaiah?
Starting point is 00:44:16 So Danny has been reading the Unseen Realm. Yes, yes, as I have. And sharing it on her stories. Well, not like anything about it. With no credit. It's fine, though. This is not about you, baby. It's about Jesus.
Starting point is 00:44:32 So she's been reading the unseen realm. And Danny found the best fact. Oh, this had nothing to do with that book. No, but it showed up on my TikTok. It kind of sparked it. And so, yeah, you can take it. Okay, so let's see if I can remember this. So the crimson worm, when Jesus is dying on the cross and he's being crucified,
Starting point is 00:44:55 he says, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Which was first said by King David back in Psalm 22. In Psalm 22, he's going through some type of suffering. I don't really remember what it was about, but he's suffering. And he says, he cries out to God, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? the same thing that Jesus said while he was on the cross. And in that scripture, he talks about how he, in Psalm 22, 6, he says, I am a worm and no man. If you go to the, like, Hebrew translation, the Hebrew word for worm was toola, I believe.
Starting point is 00:45:27 I don't know how to pronounce it. But that back then was interpreted into, like, specifically crimson worm, a crimson worm, which is specific to, this worm is specific to like an area in Israel. Like they only have these worms in Israel. And they are actual red like crimson worms. And they climb up trees whenever they are ready to have babies. And they build this like kind of like a really hard shell around them when they're about to have babies. And so they latch onto the wood and they have their babies.
Starting point is 00:46:06 And when the babies come out, the worm sacrifices itself and stays there. And the worms literally eat the mom alive. So it sacrifices its body for the baby worms. And when this happens, it creates a red crimson, like a blood-like stain on the wood. And so it's literally like exactly what Jesus does for us. Like he sacrificed his body, sacrificed himself for his, you know, for his children, for us. And we basically just like eat off of his flesh and eat up, you know.
Starting point is 00:46:43 And like, so that happens. And then in three days on the fourth, on the third day, the, the shell on the tree literally like blows away. Like it just like disappears. And it leaves like that red crimson steam. That's crazy. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? I feel like there's other parts about it.
Starting point is 00:47:04 No, no, no. That was it. That was it. You did great. Yeah. That was it. That was the mic drop. Yeah. It's just so crazy. I know. And so the reason I connected to the unseen realm is as you read the unseen realm,
Starting point is 00:47:17 I feel like you find so many of these like parallels in scripture, like things that were talked about thousands of years is like a prophecy for this. And it's like all just sort of makes sense as this very written over multiple books, chapters. over thousands of years story that like pieces together perfectly. Yeah, it's like, like how, like how could that have happened? It's like the Tollw worm, three days, sacrifice it. It's like, it's too on the note. It's too on the nose.
Starting point is 00:47:52 And there's so much like you said, yeah, there's too many scriptures, too many like little it's just. And my thing is like, what's the purpose of life? Let's ask that right now. Like if you ask people like, like I asked somebody the other day that like was really believe, but I was like, okay, so why do you think we're here? It's like, I never have an answer. It's like, why would we be here? It's, it gets harder. I feel like when you're younger. It's like harder to be like. It's harder to think about that as like an adult. The purpose of life.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Yeah. Or like ask like really existential questions. Like I feel like when I was a kid, like I used to ask all of these like existential questions. Oh, see. I feel like I'm the opposite. Oh, really? Yeah. Now it's like so much easier for me to understand like the purpose of life. We're like, back. then I was just like I was overwhelmed oh yeah I feel and I was like why do we all like I didn't understand like life I was like why do we get jobs why do we go to school like why are we doing all this stuff if none of this actually matters and then as I get older I'm like oh I see yeah I don't know I just I feel more overwhelmed later in life like to where it's like if you were like hey like what's the meaning of life I'd be like I don't well we're in the stairs
Starting point is 00:49:02 no I know it I know the answer but existential big questions like that. I feel like this unseen wrong. Maybe it's because we have like four young kids. Like I just don't feel like I have the mental capacity. Oh, and then like having four young kids and then like also like reading scripture about how children are a blessing and like how they're a gift. Like I get it more than ever.
Starting point is 00:49:22 Oh yeah. Because I used to be like, no, not. Like I used to feel like I don't get it. And then it's like it's the same. It's like the one. it's that feeling like when you're first in love and like you're so obsessed with someone and like you just can't stop thinking about them and get the butterflies it's like I've always said that it's like with kids you get that every day yeah I know true it's like so it's such a blessing it's like the best thing
Starting point is 00:49:47 ever and then it's like I just I feel like this book is actually really helping me understand like the purpose of like life and like why and then like also like I never understood why god not like why does God let bad things happen you know but I never like I, and I understood it's like, oh, because it draws us closer to him. But like, I understand it so much more now about like why there's so much like sin in the world and why all these bad things happen. It's like because that was a gift that God gave us was free will. And as soon as we accept as soon as like free will entered like this world and like it's on earth and that created sin. And like God can't come in and clean up every single thing because then that's him controlling
Starting point is 00:50:30 us again. Totally. And so but so our free will was a gift. And so. But so our free will was a gift. And So that's the, but the flip side of that is that evil entered and like sin and sickness and all this stuff. And so I get it more now. It's like, it's that's, that's part of free will. Yeah, you got to finish the book too. I know. It's like when I got sick, I got a little depressive. And then I, I don't like to like read my press. I like to like binge really bad shows. Yeah. Are you going to read my next book too about the Federal Reserve? No. I'll tell you about it. that's like a little too over my head. There's a funny story.
Starting point is 00:51:05 We had that meeting with her banks. I didn't understand the word they said. I was sitting there like, and they're like, and then the depreciation adds up on the gains and the capital gains. And I'm like, this is actually really funny.
Starting point is 00:51:19 So I'm reading this book about the Federal Reserve. And I take Danny to a meeting with our bankers. And I'm like, hey, listen. And I'm like, what does that even mean? Bankers? Yeah. What are you just like?
Starting point is 00:51:34 holding my money. Like what's you doing over there? Like you're like what's a banker even too? Like are you just standing in front of thing? Technically. The big vault with all the money. No. Here's the craziest thing.
Starting point is 00:51:50 There's not money in the vault. I know. I know. Only 10% of our money is actually in the vault. Well, thank God. Because think about it. If some, if it wasn't in there and somebody broke in soil.
Starting point is 00:51:59 No, no, you don't understand. I'm about to get on a, it's called fractional reserve. of banking. And what it means is that if I give the bank $100, they only have to keep 10 of that, those dollars on their balance sheet. Yeah. They can lend and then they go invests it. No, no, lend to other people. Yeah, they go invested or lend it out to other people. Yeah, our money is just all circulating. Yeah, it's all circulating. Yeah, it's all circulating. So if we went to the bank and we were like, hey, give us. Yeah, they don't have it. You have to give them like enough
Starting point is 00:52:28 like no, they, they probably have ours, but like if 15 to 20 percent of all of the Everybody, they wouldn't have it. It'd be a bank run. I know. That's why you have to get gold. Well, no, we're off the gold standard now, too. But one day, maybe. Okay, anyway, we'll talk about this a whole other episode.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Can I just ask you think? I'm trying to get the author of this book on. He's 94. So I don't know. Is a banker like the same thing as like an accountant, but they just works with the bank? No. So a banker, a banker's job is to get your money into their bank. Number one.
Starting point is 00:53:02 So relationships. and then they are good at basically helping you with any problems that come up with regards to your money, whether that be... Which is like literally everything. So like what? Like I just talked about everything. No. Mortgages.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Yeah. You call them and you're like, hey, we just got a new house. What if I'm like, I just made this really big Zara order? No. Okay. No. They don't get involved at like the transaction level. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:30 So like mortgages, what else? So mortgages, like as you... your portfolio grows, like you can start doing more things with it. Like you can say, hey, I don't want to actually put 30% down on this house. You know, can you let me pledge some of my stock assets against the down payment so that I can keep putting my cash in stocks and stuff. But that's like a different level. Like most bankers like Chase, the retail, you know, that we used to be at, the retail chase. It's there for service convenience so that like when you to deposit a check you can go into the branch you can sit down with someone and ask them questions
Starting point is 00:54:09 about like investing they have like a wealth management division which is separate from just standard banking that's where they take your money and they help you invest your money oh wait who does that what's who's that that's like a wealth manage it's usually like wealth management within a big bank so what why would you hire wealth manager inside of a bank instead of like one outside of a thing because when you hire them inside of a bank, they typically want access to all of your assets. So they have a broader understanding. Like if you called someone outside of your bank, you can obviously give them insight into where your cash is and where your different assets are.
Starting point is 00:54:47 But typically when someone's managing your money, the more holistic approach they can take, the better because then they're able to diversify things. So when people have like family offices. Yeah. What are they doing? They're just like it's like having bankers in house. When you're a family office, you kind of become the bank. Because I'm saying like you hire basically a banker in house. To like invest your money.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Yeah, but it's not a bank to make sure it's to pay your bills. It's not a banker. It's like when you're a family office, someone who needs a loan can come to you and you can do a private credit deal and say, hey, I'll loan you this money. So when you're a family office, you're a bank. You can. you want to get into private credit, then you can become a bank. So then you like lend people and then you charge interest and you make money off of your money. So like if some people, some people who can't get a loan at like a standard bank because their risk profile like a JP Morgan who we're with is just
Starting point is 00:55:46 not good for it doesn't want to do this type of asset. So then you go to a family office and they can do more like debt and equity or something like that. And so they'll become the bank and then they will become your lender and or your partner in the company. What a disaster? Sorry, what's a disaster? It's just like, it's so overwhelming. I can't, like, I don't know how it's stupid to do it. Yeah, so anyway, here's the funniest story.
Starting point is 00:56:11 So we go in with our bankers, who were great. But they were all, like, they were all great. They were super sweet. They, like, got us lunch. So anyway, we bank with J.P. Morgan. Highly recommend them. They're awesome. And I'm reading this book about the Federal Reserve.
Starting point is 00:56:26 And obviously, like, the banking in America was like Rothschilds, J.P. Morgan, like all these people. And so I tell Danny a story when we're walking. I'm like, hey, listen, like, you know that ship Lucitania that sank after the Titanic? And she's like, yeah. And I'm like, before the Titanic. No, it was after. I was like, allegedly it sank by German U-boats because J.P. Morgan needed to draw us into World War II. And so I tell Danny that as we're like in this skyrise building sitting across from the Dallas Federal Reserve. And I was like, they walk in and Danny goes, hey, tell him that story about JPMorgan.
Starting point is 00:57:06 I go, Danny, no. And she goes, I go, and they go, yeah, tell us. And I go, guys, y'all wouldn't be interested in. It's the deep tracks. And she goes, no, no, Jordan, you should tell them. So I tell them. I'm like, yeah, have you all ever heard of Lucitania? And they're like, yeah. And I'm like, well, there's a theory.
Starting point is 00:57:22 That your founder. That your founder. Let it be sank by the Germans so that we could get drawn into war, too. And the room just felt totally flat. Was the Lusatania like a luxury like just of shit? Yeah. It was a luxury liner. But why did Germany bomb it?
Starting point is 00:57:40 So, okay, here's what's crazy is it was a luxury liner. And basically there were like 1,600 Americans on it. But the Germans, before it took off from New York or wherever, ran ads in several newspapers that were like, do not board this ship if you're American. Like this is going to come into war torn waters essentially and we will have no choice but to sink it. It also was built as like a warship. So there were two like ships built at the same time, Lucitania and then like the marionetta or something. And the marionetta got repurposed for war. But if you went on the Lusitania, it had like all of the hatches and things for guns and to be set up if it needed to be converted.
Starting point is 00:58:26 And so the allegation was that we were transporting weapons to Britain to basically offload from the Lusitania to supply them. So the Germans caught wind of this and we're like, yeah, no, you can't you can't do that. We're going to sink this ship. but that ended up being the the pivotal moment that drew us into the war were there weapons on it this is like a deep conspiracy theory like they well mean there's what there's weapons there's a book there's a book called dead wake that I'm reading and I haven't gotten to that part but they dove for it so they found it and this was like in the I don't know 90s or something they found it and they didn't I don't I don't want to misspeak because I haven't read this yet but I don't think
Starting point is 00:59:12 it was sank by a German U-boat because there was no like missile damage, but it imploded from the inside. So the allegation is like there were weapons that like combusted. Oh, so this isn't like a confirmed thing that Germany bombed it. It was. Okay. So you know like the Gulf of Tonkin that got us into Vietnam? Yes. That ended up being a huge like false flag event.
Starting point is 00:59:34 So this is like that of World War II. It's like it's like alleged to be the false flag event that allowed for us. to get into war. And the conspiracy side of it was that J.P. Morgan, like, really needed, like, he had, he had debt out because all these big bankers used to fund both sides of every war. And so the whole book's thesis is that, like, war is a construct by the bankers. And we're sitting with our bankers. And Danny's like, you should tell them this story. I go, I go, so the room falls flat and I go, you know, let's not talk about J.P. Morgan in his own house. And then we moved on.
Starting point is 01:00:10 They're like, oh, you don't know. Babe, like there's like, there's like conspiracy theory. Then there's like the deep tracks. Then there's like tinfoil hat. And you like literally asked me to tell our bankers like a tinfoil hat level conspiracy theory. Well, you shouldn't tell me things that you don't want to share with people. I just, I told you in confidence 10 minutes before they walked in over a Diet Coke. Just leaked it.
Starting point is 01:00:39 I bet they love it, babe. Maybe. I couldn't tell. they like just or not, if I'm being honest. They said that they do like 10 of those lunches a week. Oh, yeah, that's,
Starting point is 01:00:49 they're, they're just like, I felt so special. I was like, we are so honored to be here. I was like, Danny got out of the house for this. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:00:57 and then we were like, how many do you do a week? And they're like, oh, they probably do 10 of these weeks. And we're like, yeah. So anyway, we're going to Nashville.
Starting point is 01:01:08 We are going to Nashville. Oh, yeah. We're going to be launching our pink dry shampoo, citrus, Sun Kiss Citrus is our new scent. It smells delicious. And we're having an event in Nashville, a big partay. And it's going to be fun because it's also like, I don't like our Welcome to Nashville party.
Starting point is 01:01:30 Macy said I can invite 20 to 30 friends. Whoa, that's a lot. I know I'm going to invite 20 or 30 friends. You should. I don't have, do I have, I can come up with 10. Yeah. I have a few. people that I want to invite to. Yeah. I don't know who's coming from your crew already. Yeah. Well,
Starting point is 01:01:49 from Dallas. I think Janine is the only one that RSVP. Okay. So yeah. So that'll be fun. And then we're doing like a lot of house stuff. I'm also looking to hire some people in Nashville. So. Yeah. I got us a doctor today. Oh, yeah. Did you like them? Great. Yeah, great. Is he concierge? Can you come to our house? She is, yeah. Oh, a little bit. That's so like. Well, they're not like, it's not as fancy as you think.
Starting point is 01:02:18 It's basically like you only do it when you're sick and we don't get sick. I'm sorry. I get sick a lot. When you say stuff like that, like our kids are sick every week. I know, I'm sorry. It's like whenever you said that going from three to four kids is not hard. Yeah. I think I rescinded that publicly, right?
Starting point is 01:02:36 Yeah, you did. I did. That was, I redact. I redact that statement. Yeah. And like our kids do get sick Alexid. Yeah, it's stupid.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Stupid. He's like, we never see the doctor. I'm like, she's literally on sweet I'll here once. I think she was here yesterday. What I mean is I never get sick. This isn't about you though, babe. No, I know. Wait, was the doctor for the kids or for us?
Starting point is 01:03:00 Both. I love that. So it's all in one. Yeah. Oh, this is so great. I was so worried about this. And everyone knows each other. That's the craziest thing.
Starting point is 01:03:08 It's like a small town. They're like, oh, you talk to this person. Oh, you talk to this person? of which this lady on Instagram is going on sharing my address. I'm not going to share it who because I'm not trying to take anybody down. But she's trying to take me down. She's been commenting. Okay. She commented on one of my posts and was like, you guys, you tore down my parents' house of 50 years and then built your house on top of it. I'm like, what are you talking about? Like, we just were in Nashville one day and saw a house playing up and then bought it
Starting point is 01:03:38 from a builder. I'm like, I literally don't know what you're talking. to my and then she's like people are like calling me back and then she like shares our address. I do think that. So then I sent her a DM and Torn was like, where you mean? But I'm always like, I always think about oh, is this going to be screenshoted and shared to cancel me. So I always am like very like, yeah, like I'm very matter of fact and I'm not nice, but I'm not mean. I'm like, hey, can you please respect us and take this down? I do think that we're going to experience more of that in Nashville. Not us, but just I think Nashville natives are like, pretty bittersweet about new people coming in, you know, because they're like, oh, man,
Starting point is 01:04:17 like this is like our small town. They don't want it to change. But what I want to say to any Nashville people listening is we want your way of life. We don't want to bring our own. We just want to be invited into yours. Because they're probably worried about change. And I'm like, hey, we're not here to change anything. We didn't knock down your parents' house. Okay, this is so funny. her husband just doing me. Well, I DM'd like them saying, hey, can you all please stop sharing the address? Try I read it.
Starting point is 01:04:49 Yeah. Okay. Did he apologize for her? So I said, it's coming to my attention. So and so is sharing her address online. She's been telling people we bought her old house and tore it down, which is not correct. We don't even live in Nashville.
Starting point is 01:05:07 We saw the house being built on a trip and then bought from a builder. If you see this before her, do you mind asking her to please delete anywhere she's sharing our address online? We have four small children and I would really appreciate or I would really like to protect our safety. Oh, you DM'd him? Yeah. I said, can you guys please respect that? Because she was like sharing our address online and she isn't like online.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Yeah. So I was like, hey, can you please stop? I understand. I'll ask her to take down the comments. As with many neighborhoods in Brentwood, developers are going in and buying an older houses tearing it down and building a new house and selling it. Nothing wrong with that at all. That's how real estate business works.
Starting point is 01:05:41 blank understandably got understandably got very emotional seeing the lot where her childhood home used to stand and seeing strangers parade around in a new house built on the property and seeing strangers parade around in a new house built on the property. But it doesn't excuse the comments she made
Starting point is 01:05:58 and I know she and I would feel the same as you if you were in your position. I know it will ease the emotion she's trying she's going through to know that a young family will build their own awesome memories in the same spot her family did. I'm so confused. No, I'm sorry. There's no excuse for like what you're like he's like making excuses for her and like I'm sorry. There's no like excuses. Like it's just wrong. And I know he's trying to be nice and stuff. But like understandably she got emotional seeing this. Like I understand that emotions get high. But sharing my address online doesn't negate that. Like that doesn't that's not the right thing to do. Like I get hurt by things too. Like I'll see. people together and I'm like, I wish that I was there or whatever, but I don't go like commenting
Starting point is 01:06:48 and making like comments about it to hurt people. So like understandably, no, I don't understand. It's kind of like oddly narcissistic, right? Because it assumes that we like know. And I'm like parading around your home. I'm like, dude, I didn't even know like I literally was visiting Nash. First of all, in this neighborhood, yes, that that happens on our street too. That's happening to my childhood home. Like it is the way that it is. And like I have nothing to do with that. yeah I wish you would do better though I wish you would just do better can you just think about it
Starting point is 01:07:25 and I need to do better yeah I'm listening and learning yeah wow that was a whole area yeah you need to listen and learn learn and listen and the way he said parading around the new home
Starting point is 01:07:39 I'm like what do you mean parade yeah it's a home that we bought I mean, it was it was it was it gave parade vibes the real in a home that we bought. No, I'm joking. Yes. Of course we're parading around our home. We just bought we're happy. We're happy. We're trying to create childhood memories like you. What's her name? Cynthia. I'm not going to share. But you know, I could. And like here's a thing. Let me see. Let me see. Mr. I'm hormonal right now. Yeah. I know. I was going to say this is. I was going to say this is. Like this should stay in the pod because it's it's a real look at postpartum. No, because like I have problems too. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:24 And so you're messaging me and putting my address out there. Yeah. Like that affects me too. I'm sad. Yeah. We could sue, honestly. I think that when people, when someone who they think will never see their message DMs back,
Starting point is 01:08:43 I think it's actually a very embarrassing, shameful experience because they're like, oh my gosh. Like people saw it. Like I literally felt so righteous in doing this. But then when I experienced some type of opposing force, it's like, oh, shoot. You know what I'll probably do. I'll probably send him a voice memo. Okay. You do what you think is right.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Honestly, it's just a shame that I'm like hormonal because like if I wasn't hormonal, probably would drop this. Yeah, that's what I'm saying is maybe you shouldn't send a voice in the other. No, but here's the thing. I'm going to be so like, like, like, I'm, I just, everything I ever do online like this, I always imagine being shared to the masses. No, I think you'll tactically. It's like I said, it's why I never showed news.
Starting point is 01:09:33 It's like why it's why. Well, um, for all Nashville natives, uh, we are really happy. to be there. We don't plan on making or causing any trouble. We just want to be a part of your your world. Okay. Daniel will be done with her hormones pretty soon. So it's all going to be okay. I'm like, okay. Okay. We love you guys. Bye. Bye. Bye.
