What a weekend we've had. a week. A week. Two weeks. Two weeks. No, we were here a week ago. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, I mean, but like just two weeks of, yeah, life.

Well, you know, it's really been getting me down as this Texas weather. Is that, yeah. It's been horrible. Yeah. I mean, we were one of the lucky ones, but there are people still without power. Maddie Nelson just got power, I think, like 24 hours. hours ago. Can you imagine? Yeah, what's super awkward is we moved, uh, we moved an executive down here from Houston. So awkward. And, uh, yeah, I mean, she had like a river in front of her house. We're like,

Houston sucks. Dallas, you'll love it. She goes, she goes, does this happen a lot? And I was like, honestly, no. But I'm like, I'm trying to be like, it's not a sign. Don't worry. But don't you feel like since 2020, once a year, there has been some crazy massive storm in Texas. Yeah, but it's usually ice. Usually we get. get hit with the ice storms or floods. Remember when Houston flooded and like oh I mean that was before 2020 yeah like no it's been pretty bad around here yeah this one's this one's probably the worst it's been though you know what it's giving apocalyptic yeah in times in time vibes it is yeah I mean on top of that I feel like you and your just exhaustion wow yes it's been a wild ride these past two

weeks. Yes, it sure has. We've gotten some blood work done. We're trying to figure out what's going on. Oh, yes. It's hard. Yeah. I mean, I'm talking like, what, 12 hours a night of sleep. This past week. This past week was better. Yeah. It's, it's, it's. It's honestly to the point where I just assume that Danny's going to be asleep all day. Like if I see her in the kitchen at two, I'm just like, what are you doing here? You live here too? Like, I think people would be shocked to know

how much settlers of Catan I played on my phone since you've gone into exhaustion mode. Yeah. Like it's like I could have responded to your exhaustion by being really sad and depressed. But I was like, I've got to find something to occupy my mind. mind. I'm so happy you found solace. I found solace and I downloaded the Settlers of Katon game because

no one ever wants to play with me. And so now I can play people online and I mean, tell them how many hours equal to the amount of hours that you sleep during the day, five, I play Sallelers of Kahn. Maybe more because when I'm awake, you're still playing. I know. Honestly, Saturday night, you know, like when I woke up for church on Sunday and then I was like, I could go back to bed. Yeah. You know, you thought I was sick. Yeah. I wasn't. Were you playing in bed? I played until like 2 or 3 a.m. I had to get up and drink a second beam just to knock me out because my brain was so addicted to Southerstown.

This game is like the most boring game I've ever played in my life. Like it's not like he's playing video games. No, it's the craziest thing. Like I am more into Settles of Ketan. Do you have special people like you're playing? No, I just play random people and I whip them. No, you said that they, you said that they, you say, you lose every time.

No, I did lose every time, but I just became a level nine. And so now I'm becoming a master. And so that's that one night on Saturday night that I won four games in a row. I was like, I can't, I'm on a streak right now. And then it was like three in the morning.

You know when you stay up so late that you start stressing out? Yeah. You're like, oh my gosh, how I'm going to function tomorrow. Like, what am I going to do? That's why I had to drink a second beam because I,

have you ever gotten stayed up so late that you start getting like frustrated and you're like angry that you can't fast. Wait, was this after the NF concert? Yes. You stayed up. Yes. Wow.

I know. Until like two. And so that's why on Sunday I was like, I got to go back to bed. Yeah. And you did. I would have rallied for church, but you know, you called it. I was ready. I was ready to rally.

I was dead. I know. Still. But the NF concert was amazing. I actually kind of dressed like him today. Yeah. In honor of. Yeah.

I mean, you haven't really been like depressed per se. That was like last. week. Yeah, yeah. But like going into the NF concert, you know, he talks,

he raps, would you say he sings? I guess he raps. He sings and raps, but mainly raps. He's very talented. He's extremely talented. People were like,

are you going to like a Christian conference or Christian concert? And no, not really. He is a rapper who doesn't cuss. But that doesn't mean that... I think he's a believer then. Oh, yeah, yeah.

Sorry. Yeah, he's a Christian. He's a Christian. But it's, and like he talks about his faith in his lyrics and stuff. But, but they're still pretty like, you know, pretty deep. It's funny because his audience is like within people that we know is very like hit or miss. Like I have people who are like, if they know who NF is, they're avid fans of NF. They're like, this guy changed my life.

Yeah. And there's a lot of people that just simply don't know who he is, which is surprising to me because of how talented he is. Well, I think that he's one of those artists that like doesn't necessarily want all the fame. Like that's what he wraps about all the time. It's like some his. He wears a lot of masks. His highest, not masks, but like hats. And his music videos like he wears a mask.

No? Not a mask. Sometimes he had that like. The bag over his head. Yeah, the bag over his head. And like he doesn't show his face a lot. But he wraps about how the, the moments in his life when he was like hitting all these huge milestones and all these huge. successes he was like the least happy. So he talks about that a lot. I feel that. Yeah. And I could be

wrong, but I was like looking on TikTok and I think he said that that was his last tour. And I'm sure it's just so exhausting. I mean, he has two kids, a wife at home. And I can't imagine how hard that would be to be on the road. Like and he's also like huge all of the world. So he's traveling, you know, internationally, nationally, like it sees everywhere. Yeah. We got invited because his wife. Uh-huh. Bridget. Yeah.

Knows or she's followed you. Y'all have been like internet friends for a while. I remember we went to an event in Nashville like three years ago, four years ago maybe. Yeah, Sassy Club. And we went to the event and I started talking to Bridget. Now, she was just someone there and we started talking. I was and she was like, yeah, my husband's a musician. But we were in Nashville.

So I was like, everybody's musician. And I was like, oh, man, who's your husband? she was like, he's an artist named NF. And this was four years ago, but I still knew that he was like a really big deal. And he's even bigger now. Yeah, he is. But it was just so cool that she's like kept in touch. She's always invited us to his shows.

She's so supportive. Like I think her and I have been chatting online since, I mean, I would say probably 2018. Yeah. And so, so yeah, she was really sweet to offer us tickets. I was really bummed because she has her babies at home. And one of her babies was sick. and so she couldn't come,

but I was actually really excited to see her. But, I mean, that show, like, I think everyone should see it. Even if you don't like rap, it, like, we'll get you, like, you will feel things you haven't felt in a while. Here's, like, what I would say is, you remember when I told you I had teared up during Hades Town?

Yeah. I teared up at an F too. I think I did too. But, you know, it wasn't because I personally, like, resonated with everything that he was saying. because he's seeing he he raps a lot about like depression anxiety resentment stress like all these things and so I understood kind of the framework of what he was talking about but I'm more so teared up because for him it was so real like it wasn't a

performance it was so clearly like this is my outlet to like get all of this stuff out and what I also teared up was in in the in the crowd there was this girl who was holding a sign that said like, your music saved my soul. Yeah. And you could tell that in the audience, people were so passionately like singing with him that he kind of like has hit this nail on the head with what he is feeling.

And it's resonated with so many other people. And so the concert doesn't really become a concert about him. And I think he does that intentionally. Like he keeps hats on and you can't really. You don't really know who he is. You can barely see his face. But I thought it was really cool that he's created something that's connected with so many people and change their lives. Yeah, but at the same time, I thought it was so cool that he was so vulnerable and you could, like, you did learn so much about him.

Like that song where he, he wrapped about his mom who passed away and she died from like a drug overdose. And they had like videos, home videos of her at like, like, one of his birthday parties playing in the background. And like you feel like throughout the show, like you learn so much about him. Like he tells us about a song that he wrote about his wife and, you know, fights that they had or whatever. And so like he kind of takes you through like his life. Yeah.

And like you said, like how he used his outlet through each kind of struggle. And then he even talked about his anxiety, stress, OCD. And I mean, I'm sure that plays like. a huge factor into, you know, his success in terms of, like, how much music he's putting out. Like, that's got to be really hard to like, because as someone that's also gone through postpartum depression, depression, like, it's debilitating. Like, how are you supposed to be putting out music and staying on this strict, you know, content schedule and, you know, writing lyrics whenever you're, like, struggling so bad?

Well, I guess you just write about what you're feeling. which would probably be pretty nice. But it's got to be debilitating. It's got to be hard also being a husband and a dad at the same time. Like I literally don't know how he's on tour right now. Right. Yeah, you went into the concert in the car on the way there. You were like, I think this concert's really going to speak to me.

Like you were, you went in there. No, I was like I am ready. It's kind of like when I went to London. Like I wanted to feel something. Yeah. Like I wanted to be wrapped and yelled at. Yeah, no. And like I wanted the music to vibrate my soul, you know, and my body.

And like it did. Yeah, I would say mission accomplished. I like would look over it and you were like so passionately like, like you probably knew every fourth word. Those four, those fourth words that you would know, you were like screaming them back. Like you would think that like it was like I would look to my left. And in his demo, I'm not going to lie, is like pretty interesting. I thought they were so sweet.

I love the demo. So sweet. Yeah, I don't mean not sweet, but so wide. Like, I would look to my left and it would be like a 45-year-old bald man who is just like, you would think that he, like, he has never felt more understood than by NF. And then I would like look to my right and I have like my, you know, just out of bed wife who's just like screaming. It's like, yeah, I misunderstood too.

I wish that we could play a game. I don't remember all of his lyrics. I wish that we could play a game where it's like I recite some NF lyrics back to you. And on a scale of one to five, you tell me how understood you feel by the? Oh, the one you said, I guess I'm just a dose appointment. Yeah, yeah. There's so many. I mean, there's so many like lyrics.

And it's so funny because he would say a lyric. And again, I can't, I can't think of any specifically. But he would say a lyric and I'd be like, oh, that one hit home for Danny. Like I would like know the the choruses that I was like, this song is like Danny's anthem right now. Yeah. There are a lot of moments like that. I will be playing NF on repeat,

single hand, just enough for the next three weeks. Yeah. That's just how I work. I become obsessed with something and I will play it 24-7. I was listening this morning. Yeah. It's so funny though because what the last thing I'll say about NF is you are a

eneagram three wing four. and fours generally speaking, like, feel very misunderstood. I didn't feel mis-I don't feel misunderstood. You don't? I mean... I think more generally speaking in life, you do. I wouldn't say maybe, but I don't think that's where I'm at right now. No, I don't think it's where you're at right now.

But you are a three-wing four. We have another person on our team who's a three-wing-four, who is also obsessed with NF. Yeah. And what's so shocking to me about NF is that, I would think that he is a deep, deep, deep enneagram four. I think his wife told me he's an eight. I think he's an eight, right. Yeah.

But I would think that. Remember when somebody threw something on stage, you goes, don't throw things at me. I was like, ooh. I was like, that's an eight right there. You better watch out. Yeah. So yeah, it was a good show.

I'm glad that you had a moment. Can we just talk about though, like creatively? Sure. Did it speak to you? What do you mean creatively? Like, I've never seen a show like that before. Maybe because I didn't see Drake and I haven't seen like that type of genre. So maybe like I don't have a lot to compare it to.

So. But like when he came out with the bag on his head like at the beginning and like it was just kind of epic. No, it's a very like it is actually a very, that's a good way of, that's a good word for it. It is very epic. Yeah. Like. Have you seen anything like that before? No.

Because, no, and maybe that's like how I'm leaving. Like people, like, our friend Connor texts me and was like, how was the NF show? He loves NF. And I was like, Connor Combs. Oh, why didn't he come? Also surprising. He doesn't strike me as an NF fan. But yes, he likes, because he was out of town.

Oh, okay. But he texted me and I was like, I don't really know how to explain it. Like, I just don't have words to explain what happened. I'm like, everybody needs to go. They do need to go. They need to experience it. It's just going to be. be a very different feeling than probably what you're expecting. Another thing is he doesn't cuss,

he doesn't curse, which is like so rare for a rapper to not cuss and to not, he doesn't really talk about like, I mean, doesn't really, I mean, he doesn't at all talk about like vulgar things, which is, you know, like all the sex and the cursing and the money. Like he doesn't, he doesn't rap about this stereotypical things. No, he, in fact, like, is denouncing a lot of those things. Yeah, and instead he's like talking about rapping about his baby or his wife. where there was like a clip where someone threw a bra at him on stage and he goes, don't be throwing bras at me. I'm married.

Oh, I thought he said doll. No, this was like a TikTok. Someone threw abroad and he goes, don't be, no, he goes, don't be throwing bras on me. I got a wife. Yeah. So it is something that I feel like I could take my kids to. Not now, obviously. But if you had kids.

Yeah. That were like, I don't know, sixth grade, don't you think? Yeah, there were a lot of kids there. There were a lot of kids. They were like wrapping their little hearts out. Yeah. With their mom and dad. Which is so funny that like we were talking about this earlier, that it's Stella and Stratton will grow up in a world where their parents listen to NF.

Stell and shirt. Yeah. Like can you imagine if your parents listened to like rap? No. That's, yeah. It is pretty wild that like when our kids get older, like people like Kanye will be like, oh, dad, like that's. Yeah, classic. What a classic dad. Yeah, it's like, it would be like our parents talking to us about how.

On Jovey. Yeah, it's like that's what it means to them. Like it's so like such an icon of their era, but it's like to us it's so old. Yeah. So crazy. Are we just not going to talk about the elephant in the room right now? Oh. Which is my shirt.

I don't know how we've gotten this far into the podcast. I think it's because we joked about it so much before, but we have not talked about my shirt. Well, I have been concerned because on our video, when we film, we had to do like auto focus. And I'm scared that it keeps jumping to his face instead. And this whole video is going to be auto focus. That's real. That's definitely real. Because you keep moving.

And like, like you keep moving. Probably the whole video, you're out of focus and he's in focus. Okay. So I'm wearing the free Scotty shirt that Barstall came out with. We bought it the day of. Scotty's charges have been completely Scotty Sheffler, by the way. They've been completely dropped. Expunged.

I'm really bummed. This shirt took two weeks to get here. It would have been great for the last week's podcast. I know. And now I'm kind of just stuck with this shirt. And so I was like, I have to at least wear it on one podcast. Yeah. We're huge Scotty fans.

I can't believe that they actually put him in a jumper. I didn't realize that. This shirt is iconic. Yeah. It's truly iconic. Like, I think I should wear this around Dallas because it will just create such a, like, moment for me and so many people. I just wonder if...

It like automatically makes me feel like a golfer. Like I'm like part of the club. But here's the thing. Now with this happening, you don't even have to be a golfer to love Scotty. No, I just love him. We just all like love him now. Yeah, he's,

he's an icon. He's an internet sensation. Like this does did so much for his fame. I'm so proud of him. Yeah. Do you think he likes when people wear those shirts around? You know, it's debatable. I will say like if I went to jail and I

got out and then all my charges were removed, I would think it's funny. I think he thinks it's funny. If somebody wore my headshot. Yeah. But to be honest, if they didn't remove the charges, I wouldn't think it's funny. I texted my friends. Let's see if they thought it was funny. It is crazy how like there's.

So annoying. I hate when people don't like, what is the double exclamation mark when they like, you know, when they like a picture? Oh, I hate that one too. I'm like, what does that mean? Like, are you laughing or is it funny? Like either say. Ha ha, ha. Can I guess who did that one?

Was it Colin? No. Okay. Who was it? Brandon. Colin has not responded, so maybe he doesn't like the shirt. He's offended. Colin's like actually friends with Scotty, so I'm hoping he texts him the picture.

But I said in the text, I stand with Scotty. And if you don't buy this shirt, you don't stand with Scotty. Yeah. It is crazy how there's like so many celebrities that have gone to jail, like Chloe Kardashian or. How's that possible? Lindsay Loh. And like, A lot of them like laugh at their pictures now.

Like they'll wear like, Chloe will like wear a t-shirt of her own face. You think you'll ever go to jail? No. I'm a good girl, honestly. I literally, the only thing I could go to jail for is yelling at a cop. Yeah.

Like I could see myself one day getting in and get a cop. Yeah. The police. No, like, but like I don't know just being, I could see myself being pushed around by a cop and then maybe like defending. myself. Wow. I don't know what I'm saying that. I probably would never. I don't know what I'm talking about. I feel like generally you're like really respectful. Like you always tell cops like, thank you for your service. I buy them chick-fil-A. What did you say in the car to me on the way

to the NF concert that I was like, oh wow, something about you being angry. I know. See, the thing about being a three is like you see something like that and then you're like so inspired that you're. No, no, no, this was before. No, I know. Just listen. Like, like, You see something like that or you know you know you're going to be like inspired that you kind of you you want to be like them. You know like you're very easily. Camillion. You're a chameleon. Yes.

And so I was like, man, if I'm going to go into this concert, like I need to feel angry, you know? And I was like, babe, I think I do have an angry side. And Jordan was like, uh-huh. And I was like, no, like I am angry. And he's like, really, what are you angry about? And I was like, hmm, I guess I don't have an angry side. Yeah, I know. I'm really not angry about things.

It's the same thing when I just made that comment about like yelling at a cop. Like I'm trying to be something. I'm not. I know. That's what I'm saying. That was what I was trying to get at is I was like I feel like the past two weeks. You've been just so tired. I'm peacocking.

So frail. You've been peacocking. I'm peaking. I'm like, I'm like trying to be like trying to be tougher than I am. Yeah. I know. It's, it's hard being so joyful all the time. I don't think that's the case either.

No, not anymore. Yeah. Yeah, but no, I really did like his concert and I think everybody should see it. We went dress shopping with Olivia. She had already gone in Nashville like three or four times with her friends and fam. And, but she had like two dresses that she was deciding between and they had them at this one boutique in Dallas. And the girl in Nashville told her, like, you need to decide. by Friday. So we went on Thursday the day before she needed to decide and she like wanted to try them on again and like wanted to get my mom's opinion.

Ended up going with a dress. She didn't even think about. Really? Yeah. It is so beautiful. It is like it's gorgeous. I wish I could get married again and wear that dress. It's so pretty. Is it the one that you guys like showed Stratton and Stella and were like pick between A and B? Yes. Oh my gosh. Y'all. This was so cute. Like so there were two dresses. The two. The two. two that she was between well one of them was the dress that she tried on in Nashville and then one of them was like a totally different dress that she actually had tried on in Nashville before and immediately decided she didn't like it so she was trying it on again for the second time but then this time she loved it and she didn't even realize she had tried it on before on the way home she was looking through her picture she's like guys I've tried this dress on before anyway so um we got home and we were showing the two pictures of the dresses to Stella and Stratton. And it was so funny. Like Stella, every single time was like, I like this one. I like this one. I like that one. And Stratton like knew the difference.

And we would like flip the phones and be like, okay, Stratton, which one do you like? And there was one that showed a little bit more cleavage. And like one was like very conservative. And Stratton every single time. That one. That one. Funny. Like, and then we would switch, switch, Switch, like, he's still like that one. It was like all the guys in the room, like, including my dad, everyone liked that one. And then all the girls in the room, like the more conservative one. You know, it's like you dress, sometimes you dress for girls, not for guys. Yeah.

And sometimes guys are like, well, yeah. Like when a girl wears a romper, apparently guys don't like rompers very much. What's up a romper? It's like a one jumpsuit or like a one piece. A lot of times like, like, what do you think about those? Pretty neutral. Okay. Yeah, I don't, neither could nor.

bad just natural on the wrong ears. Sometimes guys don't like them, but like we don't care because it's like we're not dressing for you. We're dressing for the girls. Right. You know? Is that why every time you ask me what you should wear, you just go with the opposite of what I say? Pretty much. Yeah. It's, it's a like I played this game. I'm like, I actually like this one, but I'm going to say this one. Then you go with that one. It's so, but then you'll actually choose the opposite. It's the weirdest thing. Yeah. I'm typically asking for you to affirm what I actually already like. Wow. That is so deep. That is that is marriage right there. But if you don't affirm what I like, then I just think, oh, yes, bad taste.

has been keeping a conspiracy from us from growing up in the town of Rockwall and I'm shocked because you've never even told me about this. Every week we research stories for our segments, but this week a conspiracy theory that Jordan has been hiding from us came up during our search. Jordan,

why have you never told us about the mystery that is your hometown, Rockwall, Texas? The mysterious massive stone wall that is rumored to be 20 miles long and seven stories deep and upon its discovery in the 1850s, 1860s, it was used for some of the towns, builds, and wells. Many believe the wall was man-made by an ancient civilization, but that there has been a cover-up or conspiracy over the years to hide how the wall actually came to be.

Excavations of the wall have stopped abruptly with no explanation, and researchers that were studying the wall have decided not to publish their findings and certain details were discovered. People that are familiar with the story and conspiracy around it believe it's the people that have land where the wall is that don't want it to be an archaeologist's site because then they wouldn't be able to build or develop on that land. Scientists have ruled the wall was naturally made, but according to one article, the wall's origins sparked theories, including one of an ancient civilization, evidence of UFO presence or American Indian settlements.

So, Jordan, why have you been hiding this from us? Okay, this is hilarious because I super vaguely remember this from growing up, but very vaguely. Like it's so funny because now That I love all this stuff so much I'm shocked I never revisited this You know what we spent most of our childhood doing There was always this rumor We called her the crack witch

Yeah, you're telling about this There was this rumor I'll tell you the story really quick And then I'm going to get to the bottom of this conspiracy About the Rockwall, don't you worry I have insiders that I will call But one time we were sitting in a talk Taco Bell. Okay, it was me, my friend Garan and Hunter. If that doesn't describe childhood,

I don't know what does. I know. We're sitting at a Taco Bell. It's 10 o'clock at night. Okay. Curfews midnight for most of us. Man, that's late. Yeah. What are those little things you get at Taco Bell, like the little dessert things? Oh, churros? The churros. Uh, the churostics, do they have like surro sticks? No, no, they're like the swirl things. Oh, the twisties? The twisties. Yeah. I don't know what you call them. So we're all getting those, right? And truly these guys come in and they're very disheveled. They're like probably two years older than us, but they're in high school. And they sit down at our table and this is like very abnormal.

Like we didn't just like, that just doesn't happen. They just like sat down and they were like guys like we have to tell y'all something. We just got to get it off our chest. How old are these guys high school? So we're probably, we're probably sophomores at this point. They're probably seniors. Okay. Yeah.

So they definitely can be trusted. No, truly. So they walk in. this is a true story. They walk in and they are like, guys, like, I'm sorry, we have to like get this off our chest. They go, have you guys ever heard of the crack witch? And we're like, no, like what? And they were like, we had heard rumors about it in the school that there is a lady that like every night goes out to this cemetery and like cries over this gravesite. And we're like, what? That's crazy. And so they tell us this story and we're all like engaged. We're hooked.

And so they're like guys like just truly like don't go out there. Like y'all should not go out there. And they dropped us a pin and they told us where it was. And it was probably like 15 miles like outside of town in this like really random graveyard off this like dirt road, et cetera. So we call up all of our other friends. So we have like eight guys and we all go out there to try and find the crack witch. This story actually sucks because we never found her.

But we went out there like six times after that. So that was most of like truly that was a big center point of our childhood Just trying to find the crack witch but I will say this rock wall one is way more interesting And I'm gonna call a city council member Future city council member Wait how did you ever hear about the wall though? It just was like a like Thing that people would kind of talk about but it was like not really a conspiracy back then it was like oh the like Native Americans that used to live here, like had a wall.

That's all I remember about it. So it really was built by the Native Americans? Maybe, but let's find out. You know what's so funny is I actually have two people to call. So number one is Miles Hunter, Miles Hunter, who is Ali's husband. So he is like running for city council or wants to in the future. Sorry, I don't know if I'm supposed to say that.

And then the second person I should call is Kyle, because in your summary you said that people are from, familiar with the story and conspiracy around it believe it's people that have land where the wall is built that don't want it to be an archaeological site. But Kyle's dad, like, built Rockwall. Like, he developed the whole thing. So let me call him Miles first. I feel like Kyle's dad would know more than Miles.

Listen, the people have spoken. And we want to know about the ancient civilization, the ancient rock wall that runs 20 miles deep beneath the city.

Yes. Wow. Hot topic here. I think it's fierce. There's we are. Have you heard of this conspiracy? Is it talked about around the town? Yes.

So it's talked about around the town. Anyone that's been around the town has definitely heard of it. I mean, it is literally our namesake. Oh. And there was actually, it was either National Geographic or History Channel. History Channel. I'm special on this. It was History Channel.

Okay. And, you know, one of the many great things that came out of COVID was a lot of free time. and I stumbled across that documentary during COVID because what else would you do other than research the city that you moved to? So, yeah, I've got a rough idea of the Rockwall and all that goes with it. So, Miles, will you inform the audience of your current standing within the community? Okay, yeah. So currently I live in Heath, which is in Rockwall County, which is also obviously the namesake of the county. and I currently, you know, kind of mingle in the local politics.

In that regard, I mean, like, I was just really involved in the mayor and the city council race. And then, you know, potentially getting involved next year in 2025, either as a, you know, a school board member or a city council member and running for election there. But I'm pretty involved with the community. So, Miles, as a city council member of Rockwell County, would you, declassify the documents on the rock wall? I think the documents can be declassified. Yeah, no, I think that would be something you would need to let the public know. They don't need to be in the dark anymore.

You know what, I agree. You're a politician speaking to our own hearts. The big conspiracy is that the landowners that developed Rockwall knew that it was an archaeological site and blocked it from being an archaeological site. site, Danny, fact check. In what year? I have no idea. It's on your paper.

Oh, oh. Oh, the 1860s? 1860s. 1850s, 1860s. Now, you and I both know, we won't say who it is. We know a very prominent land developer in Rockwall. And I'm just wondering, do you think he is deep in on this conspiracy because he wanted to develop some neighborhoods?

You know, there's a few, there's a few big landowners in the area. that would probably not benefit if it was discovered that, you know, because this is a really happening area just right outside of DFW. And so there's a lot of potential and a lot of potential growth for the area. And if I was a landowner and there was a potential archaeological site underneath all of this land that I've acquired to potentially develop, it would be kind of frightening because, you know, the government would step in at that point and say, hey, this is a historical development. We need to, you know, unearth this and see what's going on.

So I think that's pretty valid to be like, all right, well, we saw the wall. So there was actually people that have dug the wall up and been so concerned with the development issues of it. And they've spent tens of thousands of dollars to do it that they've actually recovered the wall where they dug it up and got a good look at it just for the potential of, you know, that. That's wild. Do we know where the wall allegedly is? So this thing is massive. If I remember right, it's like 15, 20 square miles. and it actually makes like a rectangular box.

So like, man, I believe it's, you know, seven, five, seven stories tall, like 20 square miles. Like would basically insinuate that like it was a wall around an entire community or, you know, civilization. Wow. And then there's even like walls within the wall. They haven't unearthed at all. And I think the way they made the map of it was just basically where landowners reported and unearthed it. They kind of connected the dots and made those corners. And then when one of the guys recently unearthed the part of the wall, he actually was like found the hard corner and like had a picture of the corner itself of where it turned from, you know, east and west to north and south.

Where is that in relation to, say, the Chilosa or Genghis Grill? Okay. So that would be kind of on the, what would that be? The western side of the wall. Like the wall kind of goes right up against the lake. and that would be like the closest to DFW and then east and west it goes you know the thin side if you will of the rectangle goes that way in north and south but north and south would be probably the longest portion of it dang have you ever seen a what's that graham hancock show um ancient

civilization it's a netflix show um i watched it one time when i had COVID and it got me real deep into this stuff but basically it's like the guys who like go and and like uncover all these like ancient civilizations that are all pretty much buried underground, you know, and there are these huge fortresses, like these huge like castle like fortresses. And who knew that this entire time we've just been living on top of one? Right. I mean, that's the thing about it is like if we are living on top of one, this, you know, they don't want it I've discovered because then everything's, you know, all this open land out here

that's prime for development is in jeopardy. Yeah, but we're not getting rid of the Chili's. I mean, we can't get rid of the Chili's for this. I mean, let's priorities, man. The past is the past, but the future is Chili's, man. That's right. And to be clear, just to clarify your position as a future city councilman, you are pro-development of Heath.

You know, I think if anything, I would say smart development of Heath. So we're very strategic about making sure that we keep, we keep Heath. There's a small community that we love and not overdevelop it with big-time big box retailers. But, you know, we still need smart development that makes taxpayer dollars, release the burden on the homeowners, and let the business owners share in that. So that would be my position on that. I got one last thing to throw at you. Did you hear about the farmer in the 50s that supposedly discovered a giant skull?

Yes. Gosh, dang it, Miles. Tell me more. Is the mayor in on this? What's his name? I mean, it might run deep. It might run real deep. I mean, who knew the underground that this community was running so big?

No, okay. Claire, I actually, Danny says she knows, which is shocking, but will you tell me because I actually don't know what you're talking about? So, so I think it was like in the 50s, as they were doing some excavating of the, of their land. They found this giant skull. And the skull has yet to be found, the supposed to supposed skull. but then also when the same guy that spent the hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands of dollars to unearthed on his property, he's found this formation to where it looks like, you know, large steps, like 30 inch instead of like 8 inch steps that we're used to. They're like 30 inch steps, and it looks like steps going up the wall. And so the real hot take is that not only was it an ancient civilization, but potentially giants were out in Rockwall.

Dude, honestly, I'm not going to lie to you. It's not that far off from what other people talk about. I mean, where there are ancient civilizations, there are allegedly giants. So this is not that surprising. So how do we get to the bottom of this? For the people of Rockwall, will you be holding a special session on this topic? And although we are not citizens of Rockwell any longer, can we and outsiders attend? Because I will say, you know, I'm not saying this should be your core.

campaign pillar, but it should definitely be top three, because we're behind you, and we just don't trust the system or the politicians to give us the truth outside of Miles. You know, we're just demanding transparency. That's all we are, right? The citizens just need transparency into this matter, and that's what we're going to provide. Well, that's something that will for sure make you go... Hmm. Moving on. It's an exciting time for the Austin Ramirez family, as we're about to welcome live into our family. With all the wedding planning festivities coming up, I thought I would make a fun thing to make you go, hmm, segment to reflect on our wedding and wedding planning process

and share things that we wish we did differently or the things we would do exactly the same. I do want to know as a male, what was your favorite part of our wedding? Oh my gosh. Because I'll just give you guys a little bit of a background. And I know Land and Olivia too and where they're at with their wedding planning process.

Olivia's doing it on her own. Yeah. She's not really that stress. She's not that stress. She's very easy going. But she's also, she told me this, she's very indecisive. And she's kind of just like, like, she's like, it'll get down. Like, she's not stress.

You know, it's so, like, I don't know if this is a side note, but what is so fun about Landon, Olivia, being engaged is like being, them being able to relate to us being married and like hearing. us being able to relate to them. Like they'll talk about things and they'll be like like, like, Liv is so, she says, indecisive. And Landon's like, yeah, I'm very decisive. And he said something to me. He was like, yeah, most of the time I'm just trying to like coax her to make a decision. I go, Landon, that's marriage and that's the rest of your life.

And it's just so fun them being engaged now for us to be able to like relate on so many of like the dynamic things. Yeah. You know, when it comes to that. And so. And wedding planning will bring it all out. You have to go through so much. Yeah, but I feel like they're not fighting as much as we.

were doing engagement. No, 100%. I feel like they're not. But they fight over the funniest things. They fight over the stupidest things. Like we were actually fighting about like deep things and dirt bites are like stupid. Which is good. That's so good.

Yeah. It's like so good. Like they got into a huge. They got a fight because it was like it was like landing got on a plane and put the reading light on and lip was like that's so rude. And then they got in a fight and they like didn't talk for like 12 hours. Yeah. And like they're like laughing about it now and it's just like man that is so like relatable.

I'm like, oh, my fight, our fights was like, I was trying to get Jordan to quit his job to come to help me film YouTube videos. No, but it's, it's so funny because like, and then he like doubled down because he's still so early in their like engagement period. Like, if you and I fought over a reading light and you were like, turn off the reading light, I'm so like neutered at this point. I would just be like, okay, like it's not worth it. But he was like, no, I'm not going to because I deserve it. And he like pulled his Instagram audience. They're just, it's cute. It's so cute.

It's so, it's so fun. It like makes me more excited like when. and they have kids too because it's going to be a whole other degree of like relating. It's so, because we're just so unrelatable to them in our stage of life right now. Yes. Like my mom, I think honestly to a lot of our family,

we're very unrelatable because we have two babies. And my mom's like, oh, I remember. And I'm like, mom, your kids were five years apart. Like,

yes, you had two, but Lanham was five using the restroom on his own, changing himself. Like, like having two under two is totally different as well. You know, like watching two babies is different than watching one.

Even them being like like creating content together now. There's been so much relatability that has come out of that. Like he's like asked me questions. He's like, yeah, you know, so like when this happens, like do you do this? And it's like very niche stuff. Yeah. It's like only makes sense if you create content with your wife. Well, live went on like an influencer trip with, I don't know what brand.

Well, I do know. I'm just not going to say because I don't know what we should. But they like wouldn't let Landon come. And it's so hard to film or create content when you're buyer. Like it's just you can, but it's just like really challenging. Like do you remember all the trips we took like you would take my outfit pictures? You would help me film. Like we were a team and the brand wouldn't let her take.

So the whole the whole time like like they're like she couldn't get any content up. And Landon was like texting her being like, hey like your brand is like paying you to be there. You know we got to be posting. Well Landon's in that era where it's like he doesn't really like work for her but he's very supportive of her. And so he was like trying to help her. He was like watching her stories. He was like, hey, Liv, like they're paying you to be there. And he goes like, hey, like, you need to take some content.

And this like literally, I laugh about this like once a day since he told me. He was like, she sent me the content. She took like three pictures of her ice. And he was like, he was like, what am I supposed to do with this? But it's just so, it's just so fun. Like I'm so excited about like the stage of life that they're. going into and like yeah you know i i hope that like all of you our siblings or my siblings your siblings i'm excited for them all to start having kids because it's just going to be like

all the things that we never saw eye to eye on well my mom my mom like two weeks ago like we hadn't seen lannon and olivia in a while and my mom was like well danny like have you invited them to do anything without the kids and i'm like mom what what about like no i'm I'm like, where am I supposed to put my kids? Just like, she's like, you need to invite them to do something without the kids. I'm like, mom, we invite them over at 7.30 once the kids are down. Yeah. But like, what am I supposed to do?

Like, I can't just ship them off while like, I'm like, do you want to come over and watch him on a Saturday night? Like, my parents are busy. Like, my parents have, like, your parents are busy too. It's like Saturday night, unless we get a sitter like far in advance, like, we can't. Yeah. It just is what it is. It's the beauty of like our friends now all like starting to have kids too.

Yeah, but our friends are like all in the newborn stage. They're in the newborn stage. It's a little different. It's a little different. It's different. We're all like, we're all on different. Yeah. But anyway, I derailed the conversation.

This was about live and land and getting married. Oh, yeah. The wedding. What was your question? Well, I just wanted to know what you, because, sorry, backstory again. With our wedding, Jordan was not very involved. You did not care about a lot. It's okay.

Is that true? It might be true. I just want to remember. I don't fault you for it. I didn't expect you to be very involved. I wanted you to make like some decisions, but like you didn't. Did I make the decisions you wanted me to make? Yeah, I think I had you like on two or three different things.

Do you remember what they were? I know you waited to the last minute to do them. I remember that. Yeah. Was it the music? Maybe the music. The playlist or something. Right.

Yeah. But I think that that's when I really started to realize that like you gave them to me. but it wasn't full autonomy. Yeah. It gave it to me. It was like, you so. No, I think those things I did want you to do completely. Fully?

Yeah. Like you didn't have opinions about him? I don't know. Honestly, I don't know, but I actually was a great bride. I delegated a lot and I was like pretty chill. Yeah.

Yeah, I remember that. I was not like a bridezilla or stressed out. Like I literally, y'all went to my florist and I was like, I showed her two pictures like from Pinterest and I was like, I want this vibe. Like,

and she was like, okay, well, let's talk about the actual. And I was like, no, I don't care. Just like, do this. And then I told her a lot of greenery. So, like, that was kind of, I think the one thing I cared a lot about was my dress. Right.

And that was it. But, um, so anyway, that was kind of like our experience planning the wedding. And then with Liv and Landon, it's the same thing, except for Liv is probably more indecisive than me. And so I keep telling her, I'm like, every week you need to make like two big decisions. Like your dress and the photographer. and then the next week, your makeup and your videographer. You know what I mean?

Right. But it's hard. And like Landon is like the first thing he sees. He's like, yeah, hired. Okay, good. We're doing it. Like he won't even compare prices, compare people. He's just like, let's do it.

Yeah. So I'm just curious, though, looking back, what did you like about our wedding? What did you care about? I think what I liked and what I cared about were maybe like different. I cared about the very different. venue. I remember that. Like I was, I was okay at being like far out, you know, for the, like the price that we paid, it being like further out. Like I was okay with that. What I liked about the wedding a lot was, I actually think our wedding was really fun. Uh-huh. I feel, I think people had fun at our wedding, right?

Yeah. I don't know. We like danced and we had like, yeah, band. Margaritas and like, it was banned Mexican food. Like, it was really fun. Mexican food on like China. I think like what's always, what's always, it's very me. What's always like important to me when we like host events is that like, and this is our wedding,

so I know it should have been about us, but like that other people are having fun and like having a good time versus like us. It's so confusing because everybody always tells you. It's your day. It's all about you. It's like. Yeah, but like you're also having all these people drive out and like fly in from all over the country to come see you.

Like, we also should kind of take care of them too. Yeah. That's just Southern hospitality right there. Like you can't make it all too selfish. Like you need to make sure to have like food for people. Yeah. And I also remember like the wedding being over, um, was something like I was really excited about.

Like our honeymoon was like my favorite time in our lives. Our wedding. About your freak out on the plane. Our wedding was like kind of it was great and I appreciated it. Our engagement was like the least favorite. season we've ever been through together. Because it's just like such a weird in between. Like we didn't live together, but like we were both like ready to live together. We like weren't having sex. We were excited to. Like it was just like everything was like just such

in a transitionary state. And I just, I wish that our engagement was shorter. Do you remember on the way to our honeymoon? I looked over and what you had Googled. I don't remember. Do you remember? I remember roughly what you're talking about, but I don't remember what I was Googling. Jordan had a freak. out on the plane on the way to our honeymoon. That is so true. I did. And he literally had like a panic attack.

Like about being married. About being married. And I look over to his phone and he has Googled panic attack or freaking out after getting married. Yeah. And he had found like a how to article. And you know how those like articles are like step one. Like breathe.

Step two. Like remember that you chose this person for like for a reason. Yeah. Step four. Like literally. post wedding freak out or so i forgot what the the terminology was um you were freaking out but i found a blog post about it in this guy wrote an article and he was like hey yours i felt like right after my wedding and i you know was scared my life was over and i just made this like huge decision it wasn't you it was just like

i know i didn't take it personally it was not per yeah you really didn't which is like such a champion thing for you to do because you could have like spiraled and ruined we could have ruined our whole trip but um i think that for me like the the thing about me is i don't don't like ceremonial things. Like I never went to my high school graduation. I never went to my college graduation. I don't like these huge moments that are symbolic of like this whole new chapter because it freaks me out. You know, like I would just rather kind of like just do it and like inch into the new chapter. Like I don't want to like I don't like these states of like let's celebrate all like how far we've come and then move where we're. But sometimes it's not about you. It's about your family.

You can come celebrate you. Well, you know, okay. Then I'm selfish and I made it about me. But like I, I, That was what happened to me on the plane was, it was, I started feeling like, oh my gosh, am I going to measure up as a husband? Like, oh my gosh, like, you know, is she, I felt so responsible for like you and our family moving forward that I just freaked out. I get it. It's normal. I had that moment after having kids.

Yeah, I'm going to call Lannon the day after his wedding and be like, you okay. You okay? You're okay. You good. I think is Lana will be 36. Yeah, he's, when he's married. He's ready. Like, he's got to be ready.

He's ready. Like, what else are you going to do? Yeah. He's got to jump on those kids. Dude, I'm telling you. That kid wagon. I'm like honeymoon babies, but we need Olivia. Yeah, we need to make it happen.

Twins. Twins. Catch up. Okay, this is what's so crazy, y'all. Landon and Olivia could have red-headed babies. Really? Olivia's sisters all have red hair. Everybody, like, in her family, has red hair.

Huh. Yes. And then Landon, we have like a lot of blonde. Yeah. Can you imagine Lena with a little red-headed baby? Oh, I would just tell you. I would be so cute. I love redhead babies.

That is so funny. Can you imagine like landing with a redheaded babe? I can't. But I also can't imagine laying in with kids yet. But he's been playing with Stella a lot and I'm like, oh, dude, like, you're going to be a good dad. He brought her fun dip. He did bring her fun dip. So smart.

He brought the kids fun dip. I was like, you're the cool uncle. That's all it takes is a little bit of candy. Yeah. I mean, if you were to ask me what my favorite things were about the wedding. Um, we wrote our own vows, which was special. I say splurge on the dress because like you'll never wear a dress like that again, ever. Um, so just like go all out.

I think looking back, I just like the music and the band were so like key. Those are key things to invest in. Yeah. Even a good, a good DJ. That's fine too. But like it really does set the tone for so much. Like even if you, if you have a. buffet and you know people don't sit down to eat like who cares about that stuff but like when people

are done and they're ready to have fun the music really does matter I feel like that's like huge yeah um but we had a band and we like we loved the the live music aspect of it um and then they were talking about this is kind of an interesting trend they were talking about not hiring a videographer for their wedding yeah and just like hiring uh like a bunch of little content creators with iPhones And I was like, oh, that's so kind of smart. Yeah. Like. Because how many times do you watch your video back in life?

But it's so sweet to have. I'm so happy that we did it. Like I would have a videographer. Yeah, but it's like on Instagram, right? Do we put it on Instagram? YouTube. We put it on YouTube. And then your channel.
