Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, listener. Hello and welcome to death, everyone. This is a show about two drag queens, celestial goddesses. Bleep that out, bleep that out! Two celestial goddesses who decide what elements of human culture will make it into our doomsday bunker, where it shall reside forever more. My name is lazy Susan. Sorry, everyone.
Starting point is 00:00:52 She's yellier again. And I'm Zelda Moon. And today we have our space car driver, Matt, driving us through the celestial void. Matt. That's a very professional intro. That was very different from me. unusual. Usually, you just start talking and then after about 20 minutes, you're like, oh, sorry, here's the podcast. We want to give people an experience. Yeah. We want people to know who we are.
Starting point is 00:01:14 So we talk about a range of fabulous topics and each week from those topics, we put the best of the best into our doomsday bunker. Chuck out the rest. Yeah, whoa. Into the bin. Not in the bunker. Okay. So, um, can I tell you all? horny story. Yeah, we haven't had one of those in a long time. I know. Okay. The riverbed has run dry. Hello everyone. Now, I just like to say that what you're hearing is in place of a debauched story that I told on the pod and then I decided with a more level head that perhaps my deep-throating story was too much. So instead, it's, I'm taking it out and we're evilly putting it on Patreon. Yes. It's now that I'm the paywall. If you'd like to listen to it, go behind the paywall. Truly, that was not the intent, but we recorded it like two weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Don't apologize. This is capitalism. We're making money off these bitches. I was going to, I initially was like, we have to take that out. Sorry, everyone. Sorry, sorry, sorry. And lazy was like, licking my lips and counting my pennies. What have we put it on Patreon? Yes. To which I thought, if they're going to go to the effort of listening to me talk about deep throat,
Starting point is 00:02:32 then go for it. Yeah. But if I have to look at you in the eye at work, please don't do that. Don't look her in the eye. Yeah. So thank you. Now back to the episode. Can I tell you another story?
Starting point is 00:02:46 Yeah. I love these stories. Okay. That's a really good one, right? Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel. Yeah. Okay, so this was yesterday. I, okay, so at work, we have like a speaker.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Speakle. which you connect to via Bluetooth. Crazy, I know. But I'll, like, play music and then I'll, like, go away my break, and then I'll do, da-da. So, like, I'll often turn Bluetooth off on my phone to, like, make sure I've disconnected from the speaker. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Because I'm like, I don't know, I don't want my TikToks to play in the speaker when I'm in the lunchroom or whatever. And so that, so that. Is that? Then I finished work and I went yesterday to H&M to have a little look. What? I just love your stories. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:03:44 So I went to have a little look. Got up, had a piece of time. And I got into the, also like, I'd put my headphones into my ears, but I hadn't played anything yet because I was still just like getting, I just wanted to get into the shop before I endeavored to dare listen to music. You know how it's like that sometimes. So there I was. And I step into an elevator.
Starting point is 00:04:11 And there's one other person in the elevator. And I'm like, okay, well, this is the perfect time to start playing the track of choice, which I did. And then this is what played out loud on my phone because I had forgotten to turn the Bluetooth back on. At which point I realized that I was playing Jackie. Jackie, why you're calling my name in the beard? Yeah. Yeah, an incredible loudspeaker.
Starting point is 00:04:41 And the woman looked at me very curiously. What she thought we were sharing one of your tracks. I woke up with your name on my lips. Anyway, I was completely horrified. What a song. Jackie, when you're touching my song, looking and I learn. Australian song too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Incredible. Anyway, isn't that funny? Why do people never get the salts back? How can you make that kind of song? become and then not make hit after hit after hit true it's crazy put all your energy into one thing like literally it's like the wiggles they're a hot potato and then nothing else I don't give a shit about your big red car honey oh anyway um do you have any stories do I have any stories I'm gonna get into one as a category I think because I want to talk about going to
Starting point is 00:05:35 see Anne Juliet. Oh, true. Maybe I'll just talk about it now. No, we can do as it. I went into Samantha Jean, former guest, Mum the Drag Queen's partner in a city of Casey production of, windmill production of Anne Juliet, which is...
Starting point is 00:05:53 Wait, Sam, was in it? Was in it? And she was playing the role of Man Hathaway. Anne Hathaway. Man, Hathaway. And when I tell you, The way that, okay, so Samantha Jean, I need to, like, paint you a picture. Samantha Jean, she is, like, the fabulous girlfriend of our friend, but she's someone who is, like, a talented singer, but doesn't, she doesn't whip it out.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Like, she's not drunk at the party being, like, I'm going to sing a song or whatever. You would never, like, catch her. She will, like, fight you, like, you, like, you know, if you're, like, sing a song, just sing a little song. But, like, you know that she's, like, been in musical theater for, like, ever. Anyway, so she's moved like from Tasmania where she was like the Queen B of the musical theatre scene up to Melbourne where I think this is the first show she's done in Melbourne, right? The way that this bitch rolled into town and ate all of these other motherfuckers up. It was like there was everyone else and then there was her. She had the solo song where she did a Celine Dion song.
Starting point is 00:07:03 and like, bitch, like, it was, she shredded the whole, like, the whole theater. Like, you could feel, like, there was a silence that fell while she was singing. That was, like, that electric charge of, like, what the fuck is happening right now? Because she had this moment towards the end of the song where she steps forward and belts the ever-living shit out of this ending. And, like, people were just, like, shocked. Because, like, throughout the show, and, like, there was some really talented stuff happening in the show. But, like, the majority of the other singers were, like, you know, like, this isn't professional theater. So it's like, they're people that are definitely the best singers in their friend group.
Starting point is 00:07:47 But they're not, like, but you still have, like, that, oh, they're going to be able to hit that note. Like, there's still a few moments where they're just missing stuff. And you have a little bit of anxiety for them when you're watching. You're like, oh, are you going to make it? you're going to make it. You know, that feeling where you're watching something, and someone's just like, they're getting a majority of it,
Starting point is 00:08:06 and they get like a really good singer, but like it's just live singing is really hard, and a full two-hour show is like really exhausting on the voice. And so, like, it's tricky. With Sam, it's like the entire time, not a bum note, the entire time, like you just felt so at home. And like, really fabulous actor.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Like just, it was, it was embarrassing how much better she was than everyone else. Like, it was like, she was, she's like, professional theatre levels. Yes, yeah. Obscene. Like, the vocals are just, like, crazy. The performance is so, and also, like, wasn't at any point trying to steal focus, but was just so natural.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Couldn't help it. That literally couldn't help keep, like, just stare at her because she's just like, because there was definitely people on that stage who were trying to steal focus. Gay guys. But, like, she, like, always sang appropriate to what the song demanded. So it's like you could always hear her because she was always completely on the correct notes. But then there was this moment where like, okay, well, now this song demands that you tear the house down. And without flinching, she just like did it.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And then went back to just serving the plot. You know, it was just like there was no, like it was like this perfectly attuned, amazing thing to watch. And such a relief to be like, we're here to see her. Like, I would be so... Like, because, you know, like, if your friend is dating someone who's not really a singer or whatever, and you have to go and see them, you're like, oh, my God, isn't your costume beautiful? God, that must have felt so good up there. Did you have fun?
Starting point is 00:09:45 Yeah. Oh, God, you look like you're having a really fun time. But instead, we just could be like, yeah. Wait, that's what you said to me off to my gigs. You looked like you're having so much fun. Yeah. But, yeah, it was crazy. And what did you think of the...
Starting point is 00:09:59 seen and Juliette. And so I say all that to say. Yeah. Okay. Quickly as well, I would like to say, the staging was beautiful. The kids did such an amazing job with the Kari. Like, majority of people really, like, quite amazing singers for, like, a community theater product, like a non-professional production.
Starting point is 00:10:18 It wasn't at, like, the art center. No. And, like, the theater was huge and amazing. Like, I just think there was so many incredible things. And the only issue I have for what I think, like, everyone acquitted themselves. beautifully was this show is such a turgid piece of fucking shit I actually think it should be illegal
Starting point is 00:10:38 yes it's trash and it's like not just trash it's like it's foul it's like it's a scourge on the earth it represents a really dark disgusting thing about humanity and I think we need to like bury it so it can't affect future generations why what's it what's I've never even heard about it. Oh, man. It's basically Romeo and Juliet.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. Like the Juliette's side. So let me take you back to a time called the 2010s. And in the 2010s, I don't remember that. There was a trend, I guess, where musical theatre had lost some of its great minds and instead
Starting point is 00:11:21 and was facing a kind of existential crisis, which is that young people had stopped going to see musical theater. And So, you know, musical producers started all manner of things to try. What's that sounds out? Is your timer? Let me just, let me just.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Musical theater producers started doing all manner of things to try and get families and kids back into the theater. Okay. So they started making like, um, Shrek the musical. They started doing mean girls the musical. They did heathers and legally blonde the musical. And some of these are great. Some of these are amazing.
Starting point is 00:11:56 But like they all kind of come from the same anxiety of like, we are going to lose people and Broadway will die. It's incredibly expensive to do these things. And then the other thing that came about was all these jukebox musical. You have like Jersey Boys and like all this kind of shit where they would just put a show together. And usually around the songs. Take a discography. Oh, Mama Mia, great example.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Take a discography and be like, okay, now we can like make a song that will fit all of these songs. And people will be so excited by the familiarity of the songs that, Just nostalgia. Yeah. And sometimes, like in Mamma Mia, I would say, like, even though that's crazy and wackadoo, it's fun. It's like a really great night out. And that's kind of all your promise, right? And then this other thing happens, which is like Hamilton and six.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Okay, so there's an Edinburgh fringe show called Six, where they have the six wives of Henry the Eighth telling their story as if they're pop star divas. Six songs in a row, no plot. They just get up and sing like it's Eurovision. That goes gangbusters and ends up going to the West End and then it goes to Broadway, I think. Cut to, and then, of course, Hamilton, Lynn Manuel adapts the story of the founding fathers or whatever, Alexander Hamilton, and like the kind of, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like, you know, the Boston Tea Party, everything. And then that also has this take on it of like, it's now time for the woman,
Starting point is 00:13:36 the Skyless sisters to tell their story or whatever. Like the wife of Alexander Hamilton, it ends with her being like, no one ever knew about my life because I was a woman. And now I tell you my brave story. Anyway. And so these two things call it. And like the whole thing of six is like,
Starting point is 00:13:56 no one was ever interested in these wives, but now they're taking back their narrative in a kind of Megan Trainor like galpower kind of girl bossy vibes. Anyway, so that these are like the top tier examples. The top, like people like these.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Then comes along and Juliet which is we're going to take all the tracks produced by Swedish music pop producer Max Martin. So Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Lindion, Keshire, Jesse Jay, he's got these hits across multiple decades. We're going to take all of them.
Starting point is 00:14:32 For what reason? No one knows. There's not a reason that that should be applied to the world and works of Shakespeare. And then in the narrative, it's like Shakespeare is telling the people at the Globe Theatre about his ending for Romeo and Juliet. Then Anne Hathaway, his wife, who's been off raising his kids while he's been off becoming a famous playwright chimes in and she's like, I hate that ending. Juliet just has to die.
Starting point is 00:15:00 That's not very girl boss. That's so stupid. And then she's like, this is the ending we're going to write instead. And then the whole play takes place with them fighting over authorship over this new ending to Romeo and Juliet that like actually focuses on how much of a girl boss Juliet was. And like now she's going to France and she's got a gay friend. And then she's got. a gal pal and they're going to go to France and she's going to meet a new guy.
Starting point is 00:15:29 But like there's going to be, you know, that queer friend of hers is also like, they, them and it's going to try and go to the bathroom at the Royal Court. And she, they're going to like be told like you've got to choose. Do you want to go into the boys' bathroom or the girls' bathroom? And then they like have a real heartbreaking moment and they go, I used to think I had the answers to everything. Everything. No, no.
Starting point is 00:15:58 And Mama, it was that every song, every needle drop is like, Daddy Dancing in the Twilight. And people be like, you know, I can't feel my face when I'm with you. And it is this kind of level of like, like, Hamilton done in Roblox, or like a target pride section, but like a kid's been through and thrown everything on the ground. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:35 It is like so stupid. It's awful. And also just that like there is this like the world of like queer liberation and girl bossing that are like perversions of like the very real like, you know, fight for queer rights and fight for gender equality. Like these kind of like simplified versions of. of it are so, like, demeaning to women and queer people.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Yeah. They're so patronizing, like, queer people and something like, I can be who, like, it's a puppet show for adults. Yes. Being like, you can be whoever you want to be. And women, you can tell your own stories. And it's like, okay, so in that context, because the whole thing is about, like, Juliet can do whatever she wants.
Starting point is 00:17:29 And you're like, okay, so what is she going to do? Whatever she wants. But does she have any kind of interior? What does she want? She can do whatever she wants, girlfriend. And it's like, they can imagine the bumper sticker, the slogan, and the, like, to be clear, male written song that would accompany that kind of like, yeah, bitch, I can do whatever I want. But they can't, like, extend that. And then it's so bizarre to then, like, Shakespeare, who, like, arguably is writing from a different era,
Starting point is 00:18:05 but had some of the most interesting, complex female characters. Like those fabulous witches. In the Western canon. I would like, you know, someone like, Lady Macbeth. But, like, you have these amazing stories, and you're basically saying, and that girl, that's enough. Yeah. They didn't, like, tackle the toilet gender, like, debate.
Starting point is 00:18:27 And it's like, sorry? Are you fucking stupid? Like, what do you mean? Yeah. I saw it a couple years ago at... How did you see this? It's insane that you've seen that. I know.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Because to... I know. Well, no, because like... It's so insane. What? What? No, but I don't see things like this. No, that's right.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Some friends from work had organized it, and I went to see it with, I think just two gal pals from work. Yeah. And like, holy shit, I hated it. But we saw it at the Princess Theater. Princess, with Rob Mills and Casey Donovan. Yes.
Starting point is 00:19:10 I think so. Yeah. Because everyone last night was like, that's the role that Casey Donovan plays. Yeah. And I, like, I hated every single moment of it. Like, I hated the pre-show. I hated the show. I hated that I've now seen it.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I hated the set. I hated the song choices. Holy shit. It made me realize that I hate jukebox musicals. Like, I just hated quite literally everything about it. It is insane. And the styling. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Because at least the show that I saw was styled in that way of, like, yeah, like 2010's, like American Mall dressing. Yeah. Oh, God. Oh. Yeah. Oh, it's woeful. Yeah. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:19:59 So it's not in the bunker? No. It just, I like true, I can't believe. I mean, I don't even think people have, like, I don't think that the world has embraced Angelo yet. I can't believe that it got a tour. Like, I can't believe that it got to go to Melbourne or whatever. But it just, to me, it says, like, there's just such a, like, feel like, a falling over
Starting point is 00:20:25 themselves to try and find a re-reel- like try to get people to come to the theater, that this kind of, like, absolute fucking mind-numbing trash can come anywhere near, like, being mounted. Yeah. It's crazy. It's crazy. I just, I mean, what the fuck do you mean?
Starting point is 00:20:46 Yeah. Buh. Buh. Like, yeah. Buh. But wouldn't you be like, I just. Embarrassed? Embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Yeah. And it's just, yeah. The amount of like these shitty shows that get mounted and people invest their time and talents into. And you're like, how is that allowed? Yeah. Like what is the point? Oh. And yeah, that kind of gleeful kind of like any like we're going to be who we are kind of shit.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And I was talking about it in the like, oh God. It's so. I wish you had more to say about this. We're going to be But like Hairspray is an example of something that does this And is like so like You know
Starting point is 00:21:34 Unashamed about being like Be who you want to be And like all of these kind of like These things that I'm calling Vapid for End Juliet But like I'm hairspray feels so In on the joke And aware And like
Starting point is 00:21:49 Isn't afraid of like How like Campy and Kit it is. Like I think it's why I can kind of stomach it when drag race does it. Because it's like they'll do that and then on the same token they'll say something like really ludicrously like off base or weird and camp. And so it's like you kind of, it's not just this pure saccharine like staring you dead in the eyes and being like, why wasn't Juliet and Juliet? Like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:22:23 I also just can't Like imagine someone Being like reading Romeo and Juliet And be like, And Julia! Like, shut up! Are you fucking all right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Like of all the things to like rectify In the like kind of the canon To go back to and be like, by the way, this was fucked up. Your critique is like, what? They didn't talk about non-binary people. Shakespeare wasn't up on pronouns. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:23:02 You mean the faggot? Yeah. And like, that projecting of like, and how? How was he, like, leaving, like, in, like, the 1600s or what, or 1700s? like how was he leaving Anne Hathaway at home to raise his children?
Starting point is 00:23:23 God, that's pretty rude. It's like, what are you fucking talking about? Women didn't have the right to vote. You're projecting this weird 2010s politic on like that. And thinking you're so much better, I mean like, yeah, I would have done things a bit differently when I was a peasant down in the fucking squal of mud. Be like, by the way, come on.
Starting point is 00:23:49 it together she can do whatever she wants it's kind of the same ironically the same kind of genre of people who would follow the teachings of the bible that was written two thousand years ago in a modern setting yeah yeah yeah well yeah oh actually that leads me no question if you're going to write a duke box musical based on some like musicians or uh discography what would you do um Jesus Katie Perry Yeah but like What's your Katie Perry
Starting point is 00:24:28 Musical about? No You wouldn't do that? It would be very funny You're right Yeah no but if you had the right Story it would be amazing Yeah
Starting point is 00:24:39 I mean I think it would be What I would want to do Is just have like a nonsensical combination Kind of like Mamma Mia and Abba Yeah It's like what does Abba have to do with that story or setting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Like nothing. And that's fun. So like if it was all to like Katie Perry, yeah, like needle drops or like, even better, Jennifer Lopez needle drops. I don't think she has the depth of her discography. What the fuck did you just say? Because you, yeah, go on, so.
Starting point is 00:25:14 But it's like, I don't know about like, like, I don't know. A Tate of famine. Yeah. Or like, I don't know, the year like 20, 75 in Tokyo and you're following like a diva who like works in an office job. But secretly like gets on the floor. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:37 It's the night away. But she's like taking down robots or something. Yeah. I think you're ready to write a jukebox music. Thank you. Amazing. What do you want to do? Well, Jono from Queer View Mirror
Starting point is 00:25:53 We were there at the theatre together And Jono was like, what about a Kath and Kim musical With the songs of Kylie Minogue? Oh, yeah. That would be fucking Liddy. You could have a whole scene where she's spinning around And she talks about it
Starting point is 00:26:09 And where she wants someone to get out of her way And then she does a song about that too. Yeah, I love that. Yeah. But Katie Perry would actually be really good Because she's got so many songs. I want to see your peacock. Relentness.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Yeah. Cock, cock. Your peacock. Cuck. Actually, legitimately, I think it's crazy that they're not doing like a RuPaul musical. Like with Rue songs? Yeah. Her?
Starting point is 00:26:35 She's got such a deep bench. Drew. That you could like totally construct. When I was like a little faggot, I had the like essential Britney CD, which was like, I guess her first three albums, like the hits. It was that like silver covered one. Yeah. And I like was up at my nans in Queensland and I like was there for the summer, I guess, like summer holidays.
Starting point is 00:27:01 And I was like designing in my head the whole musical that you would do. So that soundtrack. To that soundtrack. But like it was and I think it was done later on. But like it was going to be like the lucky like you know how that music like that music video is. which are like already a musical. Yes. But like just extending the lucky musical.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I said journey through rehab and then eventual death. She's a star. She cried, cry, cry, cries and her lonely heart than care. Yeah. And then also like, make believe you are here. Okay. All right. Yeah, I can see.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Oh. And she should be an angel wings. risen above the stage. Oh my God. Actually, the other thing that happened at the end of the show last night was that they had like a stealthfully concealed cherry picker that was decorated with vines, like plastic vines. And at the end, and Juliet left the stage after her wedding and then appeared in an LED lit up corset and LED like, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:14 like a fierce drag jewels kind of like house of priscilla yes um like shimmery like um tuley type thing skirt which had LEDs woven through it beautiful and she appeared kind of like a cancane dress but a bit shorter in a pastel pink with an iridescent glint gorgeous um and she rose above the stage um on that cherry picker and it went you actually couldn't hear it over the final song but it was incredible that is good it was I mean oh to be a young woman on a cherry picker
Starting point is 00:28:54 yes what was that final song sorry I have to pull that up I love a scissilefti I think it was I want it that way oh god I hated it and then they go into Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake Oh, no, you know what? It's Juliet.
Starting point is 00:29:14 And they're like, she's just come off her wedding and she's like, used to bite my tongue and hold my breath. Oh, my God. Then she goes into the full roar. And then she goes, raw, raw, roar. Ro, roar. Yeah, it's pretty good. And the popping and locking that was happening on stage, it was incredible.
Starting point is 00:29:39 And because of everything was. It's in that plastic synthetic fabric. It's just eerie to know that long after we're dead, fluttering in a landfill somewhere will be the entire costume set of this show. And the LED lights long since dim inside of that skirt. They'll outlive everyone. They're going to be here for the next millennia. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:07 I get the high out of the tiger. Okay. Lazy, destroy the planet, please. I would like, if I may, to tell you a story. I think it's going to be the death of the world this week will be, will be clipping. Clipping. People will clip into the back rooms and, you know, clip through reality. What?
Starting point is 00:30:36 You should know about this. That's a thing. Clip out? Clip in. You mean like clipping in video games? Well, that's what they call it when you clip in to the back rooms. Clipping. You clip through a wall.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I haven't seen back rooms. You don't see them? No. It's good. I've heard it's good. It's good. I liked it. I liked it.
Starting point is 00:30:56 I'm sorry, I didn't follow that up. I liked it. Clipping through into the back rooms, everyone disappears. Okay. And they're all trapped in the back rooms. Oh, dear. What level? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Creepy pipe. Creepy pipe. Playzone level. Playzone. What entity will kill them? I don't know. No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Yeah. Well, all right then. Clipping. Clippin. All right. We'll be right back. Hello. My leg there.
Starting point is 00:31:35 And welcome back. We got the eye of the tiger. We're finding. Dancing through the fire because I am the champion. And you're going to hear me roar. God bless the kid that played. Romeo who was really funny, but I couldn't carry the vocal. Oh, sorry, Diva.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I felt bad. He was fun. He was really funny. But it was just watching your friend destroy young lives on stage. It's really hard. What? Matt. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:13 We have a speak pipe. We've got another speak pipe. Yes. And this time, Someone has spoken to our whole. It is from Lance. Lance. Lancey boy.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Now I think I know this, unless there's multiple listeners called Lance, I love this Lance. Such a babe. Hey, Deavers and Matt, it's Lance or Lancey. I'm sorry, I sound a bit like shit. I'm just recovering from a flu at the moment. No, you're not. I'm just kicking my ass.
Starting point is 00:32:50 I just wanted to say, Thank you for all the content. Like, I love listening to you all every week. It just makes my week. And apologies, I haven't had a look at the Google Doc in quite some time. Same. So I'm not sure if this one has been covered or not. But I wanted to know which drag race quote or one-liner gets into the bunker.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Oh. So some of my favorites are. I don't see you walking children in nature. Incredible. Another one I like from my favorite season, season six, is, what do you do successfully quickly? And another one I really love also from that season, which I would personally vote for, is it's dry,
Starting point is 00:33:42 kind of like your vagina. Kind of like your vagina. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you. Bye. That's a great one. Okay. Why don't we go?
Starting point is 00:33:51 through. That's really good, Lance. I hope you get better soon. Not from your illness, just from your gay voice. No, that was pretty pretty het. Hetty Lance. You're passing. You're passing. Straight passing. Valet, you're passing. Oh, my God. Valet.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Okay, why don't we go through? Do you want to do seasons and just see what comes to mind? Yeah, I don't know if my memory is that encyclopedic. I'm trying to Google the correct quote. Reason one, what does Beebe say? She's your favorite drag queen. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:28 I don't know. I'm doing this other thing right now. You say something. I can't remember. I mean, like, obviously my season six memories are, now I'm the star. Yes. It's a man with one eye.
Starting point is 00:34:45 I really like that. And you like my body? Adored Alana. Do think, like mine would have to be, even if I was born on the moon, I would still be an American. Like his freaking chorizo! It's just so funny. And that line in particular is like the less quoted from that insane monologue. But it's just, even if I was born on the moon, I would still be an American.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Poppy, I would be you to come home. Incredible. I like bitch I'm from Chicago. I think that's very funny. I don't. You don't? No. What don't you like it?
Starting point is 00:35:31 I think I'm going to burst into laughter if you just threw like, bitch, I'm from Chicago. You think I'm going to laugh at that? My favorite quote is, first of all, I'm not your mom. My name's Bianca. That is your favorite. I think that's so funny. What else?
Starting point is 00:35:50 What else? Come on Teledabbit, teleport us to Mars. And my father fucked Marlina Ditrich is really funny. That is. There he is. I like the crystal clear waters of Dary and Lake. Yes, I like that. That's really fun.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Okay, what about, I'm just looking at some now. I'm not just looking at some now. Oh, I'm not token bitch. That's pretty good. Oh, at all. Oh, at all. And I mean, I love, um, um, just, uh, oh my God, what is her name in season one, the, the sampling of, of the absolute vodka that's like Citron.
Starting point is 00:36:44 What is her name? The dish, um, no, it's not Shangela. It's, she's like the fucking, juggling Vegas gal Oh Not Ivy Winter No
Starting point is 00:37:00 I wasn't ready for this complex topic Matt what about you What's your favorite All of them Love it be specific I like I didn't go to fucking school for math I kind of lack of the schmell
Starting point is 00:37:18 I kind of like a That's probably the one I say the most Why? Do you say that the most? I'm going to say it all the time to anything. I like... I kind of like a little smell. Oh my God. Do you smell other things?
Starting point is 00:37:34 I don't dislike that you do drag Pamara. I just hate that you get paid for it. It's so funny. That is like, have you seen Mini Cooper? She's been posting Mini Cooper's rules? No. She's been going in hard. So Sydney Drag Queen Minnie Cooper
Starting point is 00:37:52 has like been rinsing the world online with her like, these are the rules of drag kind of thing. And it's actually, I felt so like, oh, where is it? I'm pulling it up. Drag education, unacceptable. Pump with a clear strap attached. No. Now I'm looking at your feet instead of your face.
Starting point is 00:38:17 Absolutely acceptable. A pump with a strap that's styled for the shoe. elegant, glamorous, intentional. Hashtag glamourous, intentional. Hashtag glamour. Then, breaking news, public service announcement, today's emergency drag issues, stockings with open-toe shoes. Another excellent way to have people looking at your feet instead of your face. If you're wearing stockings with open-toe shoes, please spend your money wisely and ensure your toes are not escaping like peanuts on a torn bag. What a doom-bag? Helpful solutions include closed-toe shoes, bare legs, beautifully shaped legs, or whatever. works for you. As always, this is nearly my unsolicited opinion. Please stay tuned for tomorrow's
Starting point is 00:38:56 drag crisis. Dame Super Dooper, Mini Cooper. Okay. And now what about this? I'm the delicious Miss Mandarin. That's my favorite. Yes? It's Chanel. It's her name. Matt, throw us some more. My favourite ones.
Starting point is 00:39:32 There's just too many to remember. I'm a drag queen. Definitely the best. Who said that? Famously, only one of them. And that's crazy. That is crazy. I'm a drag queen.
Starting point is 00:39:48 I don't think. I don't think. I love. Devena de Campa. I don't think. The cheek, the nerve, the goal, the audacity and the gumption. That's good. I like party.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Party. When Katia said that to Alaska as she was having her nervous breakdown. Party. And she's like, I'll do anything if you let me win. And she's like, okay, party. Party. There is actually too many to say. I'm not talking, bitch.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Wow. Um, yeah, but I don't know. Excuse me, we've forgotten one really important one. Go on. Ha! Ha! I'm acting. I'm acting.
Starting point is 00:40:36 That's true. Wait, can that be it? It's so good. Huh. Uh. And single-handedly? I'm acting. Summarizes all of drag.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Yes. I'm acting. And she's just so pissed. Why is she so? I love how, Tammy Brown is a space cadet, but she's so angry. Yes. It's so much of the time. Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:58 It's incredible. It's just perturbed. And yelling at people. Yes. Ooh, yeah, I like that. That's pretty good. Yeah, that is really good. I'm trying to think of this.
Starting point is 00:41:09 I want to, like, obviously, think of some down under ones to see if anyone said anything. No, I don't think anyone's ever said anything on down under. Well, that means nothing is actually incredible. I think, yeah. that's one of the most amazing. Just people caring about getting sent home. It's so satisfying. Because she cares.
Starting point is 00:41:36 Because otherwise there's no stakes. If you're all classy on the way out the door, then what was the point? Yes. Like genuinely, that one is great. Actually, Thorgy Thor going, ew, gross. No, ew, Jesus, gross. Jesus, yes. When she's getting sent home.
Starting point is 00:41:52 That's so funny. True. I don't think Thorgy Thor is like, Just forever underrated because she's so takes it seriously. Yes, but it looks crazy. Yeah. What about this one? You ready?
Starting point is 00:42:06 Baby, you can read. The doll. Baby, you care read. You can read. Not you're not laughing. That's so weird. You know that one? Baby, you can read.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Sure do. You say it now. Baby, you can't read. That's my bad. That's pretty good. Okay. Go get it, girl. Get it.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Excuse me. Find the note. Find the note. Find the note. I don't know. It's a never-ending list. Okay, we'll go, huh,
Starting point is 00:42:44 huh, I'm acting. I'm acting. Yeah, that's good. Yeah. Okay. Oh, they'll have such a fun time quoting that in the banker.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Yeah. Okay. Well, congrats. Tammy. your quoting. Okay, we'll be right back. Hello.
Starting point is 00:43:09 We're back again. So hot, so late. Oh. I'm sorry, everyone. We can't do it. It's okay. Okay. Now, and I know we've had a speak hole, and that wasn't it a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:43:22 Now we have a classic form of male, which is a fanfic. Oh. What the hell is that? That sound. How is that your mouth? That was lazy's mouth, just for the record, everyone. She just ate a bagel. I want to see what your insides look like.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Jesus Christ. What's that from? Step-mom? I want to see what your inside look like that. Step-mom? Family's doing. Oh, my God. Okay, so we have a...
Starting point is 00:43:57 I want to see what your insides. Oh, that's cream. Sorry. We have a... It was from... Nothing. It was from scream. Fanfic.
Starting point is 00:44:05 from Igiloo. Iggy Lou. And the title of this email is called Swamp Hog Fantasy. Swamp Hog Fantasy. And I read it now. Greetings, celestial creatures. In one episode of the pod,
Starting point is 00:44:24 Lazy called Zelda a swamp hog. This skit has been running through my head ever since. This skit. Please reenact it. So that I can put the fantasy to rest. Also, which just spawned into the bunker. Low-level XP creature makes it into the bunker, i.e.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Environmental self-exploct creature. So like swamp hog, cave gumblin, beach crab, forest hag, etc. That is so good. Yeah. I didn't know that any of these things were real. I didn't know that that was a category. Okay, we're going to pull up this for reference. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:04 This is what... What's this? This child wants us to... You're possibly fast and strong. What? Your skin is pale white and ice cold. Your eyes change color. And sometimes you speak like...
Starting point is 00:45:20 Like you're from a different time. You never eat or drink anything. You don't go out in the sunlight. It's about Ariana and Graham. Are you okay? I know, that's not right. How old are you? 17
Starting point is 00:45:35 You've been 17 Oh She was like I know what you are Okay So Matt you're gonna have to put the music Under this next thing
Starting point is 00:46:22 So then Igloo goes on to say Obviously Bella is lazy And Zelda is Edward In this fantasy And then there's a big script However Then minutes later
Starting point is 00:46:36 I got another email Jesus That continues I didn't flesh out the format enough. It needed more of a reveal for the punchline. Use this one or rework it, etc. Well, I'm not doing any of that work. So now... Reformatted it. Use this one or reformat it. So now with the second script that has been revised and supplied...
Starting point is 00:47:00 Have you sent this to me? Yeah, it's in the chat. I've got it. Okay. Wait, Zelda, it's Edward. Okay. And yeah, so it's that scene? I know what you are. Say it. out loud. It's okay. No, Bella.
Starting point is 00:47:41 You don't understand. I do. I'm stronger than you. A tree explodes. I'm faster than you. She's suddenly behind her. I can smell your blood from a mile away. Everything about me draws you in, my voice, my face, the way.
Starting point is 00:48:01 I move. I know. As if I would need any of them. Wait, I need real grunt and passion on this line, Zelda. One moment. It was like they knew you were going to undersell it. Hey! Grunt and passion.
Starting point is 00:48:18 As if I would need any of that. I don't care what you are. You should. Then show me. He steps into the sunlight. Bella braces herself. A dramatic swell of music, Matt. The camera circles camera.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Edward lowers his hood The truth is revealed A 140 kilo Swamp Hog Caked in mud This is the This is the skin of a killer What?
Starting point is 00:48:54 It's an entire water lady I think we need to just do a take two on that Just quickly at the end Wait what? What do you mean? The truth is revealed A 140 kilo swamp hog Caked in mud What?
Starting point is 00:49:11 This is the skin of a killer, Bella. No, we need a clean line reading on that. We can't go to market with this. Okay. What? What? This is the skin of a killer, Bella. Eat an entire water lily.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Also, I can't help but think that they meant to say, what a lotus? Are we giving notes now? But in the original script that was provided. Yeah. It starts as, I know what you are, and then I say, say it out loud. And then you say, a swamp hog. Are you afraid? No, you should be.
Starting point is 00:49:57 He suddenly darts into the trees. A crash of branches echoes through the forest. He appears 50 meters away, then behind her, then atop a fallen log. And the world's most dangerous predator, Bella, snort. Everything about you draws me in. Snort. My voice. Snort.
Starting point is 00:50:14 My face snort, even my smell. And then you don't see anything. As if I need any of that. He tears a rotten stump up from the ground and hurls it into this distance I'm designed to kill. Wait. This is because I called Zelda a swam pog one episode. And this person's imagination ran wild. The light falls across his body, revealing not a mysterious and mortal creature,
Starting point is 00:50:36 but a gigantic mud-encrusted swamp hog. Cat-tails dangle from his ears. His hide is coated in black sludge. A frog jumps off his back. Bella whispers, You're beautiful. Edwards. Nostras flare.
Starting point is 00:50:53 This skin of a killer. This is the skin of a killer, Bella. And then he rears up dramatically. Can I say as well recently on TikTok, I encountered this woman whose pig got stuck in the mud. It was wallowing in the mud and then it couldn't get out. Pig is stuck in the mud. Have a rate.
Starting point is 00:51:13 She's got a giant She's got an oar And she's trying to pry the pig from the mud With an awe? Like trying to get under it Come on And the pig is lying in the mud, swamp it around And literally refusing to like help her
Starting point is 00:51:56 Okay Okay She's a giant Okay A pig He's joking the mud Lily is a lavender whale Well I don't know which are the two scripts I preferred
Starting point is 00:52:40 But I'm glad we kind of got through them both in a way Yeah I mean God it was important stuff That was pretty good Yeah, I can like to stick pig What happened next? Bella got out her Oar and tried to I think I imagine the oar actually I just looked and it was just her With a like kind of flip-flop on
Starting point is 00:53:01 kicking the pig Ew She's trying to help What did you do for Lily? Nothing Okay Okay. Which low-level creature that grants a smaller amount of XP goes into the bunker? I'm going to say slime, green slime.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Okay, but what's the location? Is it cave slime? Is it rocky slime? Is it office slime? The slime that was in Lucia, which would be like a little half dome, and it would kind of leach forward at you. Yeah. But it was like, it would be on land or in a cave. But it was more that like green slime was.
Starting point is 00:53:40 the lowest level. Yeah. Then blue slime, then red slime. Okay, yeah, maybe. Yeah. Matt, do you have a pitch for which low-level age-p and experience creature goes into my God? I don't know any of these things. Matt.
Starting point is 00:53:52 Oh, man. What about a rat? A rat? Yeah, like a field rat. Or in Boulder's Gate when you'd fight a few rats to try and get your XP up? Yeah. I don't know what this is. You know, no rats?
Starting point is 00:54:04 What about, um... You don't know rats? What about like storm pigeon for when it's raining and then it's, There's a pigeon in the sky, but you can take it down with just one hit. Just one hit. Yeah. Or what about like... I don't think I've done that before.
Starting point is 00:54:18 Yeah, or a classic, like Castle Goblin. Castle Goblin. Caved weather. I don't know. I haven't done these things. Okay, well... Get back to me later. I'll figure it out.
Starting point is 00:54:32 Well, is that what do you like to kill? Peggyz? No. Oh, I mean, classic low-level enemy. Yeah, it is often a rat or a slime. There's like Dragon Quest slime. There's like bubbles in Zelda. What are the low-level things in Zelda, the original Ocarina of Time?
Starting point is 00:54:55 Bushes, shrubs. I'd probably say keys, the bats. Oh, yeah. One hit and they're dead. So cruel. Yeah. Yeah, that's quite low-level. There's little spiders.
Starting point is 00:55:09 Yeah, yeah. Isn't that in the boss fight? There's like little spiders that come from the big spider. Yeah, when you're fighting Goma. Goma. Oh, they're so scary. It's funny how playing those games as a child, they're so difficult. And then when you play it as an adult, you're like, I got it.
Starting point is 00:55:25 I got this. And it's not so hard. Isn't that funny? Some games don't get easier. Mind sweeper. Still hard. That's so true. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:55:40 I mean, I'm down for... Slime is classic. When you say slime, I think of the Dragon Quest slime, which is quite a cheery enemy, if I'm honest. I like as well the start of a game where, like, you're still in kind of a tutorial world. You're oftentimes in your village just before a comet's about to hit or something.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Yeah. And I like that. Yeah. I just like living a simple life. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You just want that. I don't want to go into the depths of the game where suddenly I'm in caves,
Starting point is 00:56:07 so far from home. Uh-huh. I hate that. You should watch the gameplay trailer that just came out for Fable, because they were releasing Fable, and it has this, like, very complex, like, social interaction system that kind of expands on what they originated, which was, like, a morality system of, like,
Starting point is 00:56:27 your decisions are good or bad, and your appearance and the way people react to you will change as that dial grows stronger. But then that was replicated. by many video games ever since. But now that they're re-releasing Fable, like completely, yeah. That they've taken that system and really gone with it,
Starting point is 00:56:48 but it's like every decision can make you appear kinder or more generous or cruel or whatever. And everyone has their own moral compass. And so it's not a broad stroke. It's like, oh, if you buy a business, then a lot of people will think that you're, wealthy and like supporting the town economy and then others will think that you're a show off and think that you're you know like out of your depth or whatever yeah so cool well i'd like that
Starting point is 00:57:19 yeah why is it called fable is it made up yes you never played fable chicken chaser what did you were never a chicken chaser no was that PC only in no i was on xbox i didn't have an xbox same but what are my my cousins. But I had friends. Someone recently made the observation that they thought, like, their cousins were just that and they didn't have their own lives or anything. Like, they didn't have other cousins.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Yeah. They were just like, I thought they were just my cousins. But they just existed as, like, side characters in my life. That kind of how it feels for me. My cousins. But I do think that's true because I've never seen anyone's cousins anywhere else. Yeah, true. That's weird.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Oh, my God. Yeah, but in original, you kind of had a bit of a reputation that was simplified into like a little, you know, like if you were walking down the street right now, people would call out, hey, crossy, you know, but in Fable, my favourite was always Chicken Chaser. Chicken Chaser! Yeah, and they all have these awful British accents, and you'll be walking down the village, oh, chicken chaser. Oh, there goes the chicken chaser. They love Anne Juliet. Anyway, okay, so we'll put in a little red slime. Red.
Starting point is 00:58:43 Green is clearly the most iconic. I thought you said you wanted red. I didn't say that. I was just trying to tell you about the different levels of slime. Well, I would much prefer a green slime. It wouldn't. Okay. And it will be bunker slime.
Starting point is 00:58:57 It's just generated. Bunker slime. In fact, they generate all the time, but with one hit, they're gone. Yeah. And we get a little XP. Cute. All right. I love that.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Yeah. Okay. Well, we'll be right back. Hello. Hello. And welcome back, listener, for this final topic of discussion today, which is, which car interior accessory goes into the bunker? Which car accessory? Interior.
Starting point is 00:59:47 interior. Yeah. Yeah. So you know in like the 90s when you were watching Godzilla or something and a taxi driver had like that beaded seat cover? Yeah, yeah. That's potential. That is actually quietly though one of the like if you're a film's art director or production designer and you want to like do something to the interior of a car for like a quirky character. I hate that they always add those like orthopedic, like, beaded things
Starting point is 01:00:20 because it just feels a bit like, oh, okay. Like it just feels a bit of a cheap. Yeah, it's a bit done. It's a bit of cliche, you know. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah. Or another example, maybe when your space car driver is taking you out for a bagel and you notice that they have a delightfully fluffy cover on their steering wheel.
Starting point is 01:00:39 Keep your hands toasty while you're driving in the morning, perhaps. Just a bit softer than. the regular wheel. I have delicate hands. All right. Do you know what's over now? I've noticed. No one's got the dice anymore.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Mm, fluffy dice. I was thinking about that when I got the fluffy wheel. You want some fluffy dice? Well, I was thinking what else? Like, yeah, what else can I get this fluffy? I'm sure it's culturally inappropriate, but I love that hula girl. Oh, yeah. A little, like, Hawaiian girl doing the hula.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Yeah. Yeah, so that wasn't clear. There's many types of hula. girls. Sure. Name three. Yeah, I love that kind of hula girl.
Starting point is 01:01:26 What about? Oh, yeah, you go. Have you been in an Uber, and this has happened to me like 5,000 times, but they have like the Assassin's Creed emblem hanging from their rearview mirror. Sorry? Hang on, I'll send a photo of it.
Starting point is 01:01:38 It's hideous. Assassin's Creed. Yeah. It is such a thing. Emblem. Oh yes Oh I have seen this Oh my god
Starting point is 01:01:49 It's an upside down V It looks like a staple removal I love those crocodile Things We call them creedies Um Um Yes
Starting point is 01:02:04 Yeah I mean like I Think it's impossible to go past that giant In those gorgeous scented trees Mm-hmm Um That's cool Um
Starting point is 01:02:16 I, all of those like car fresheners, fragrances. No, thank you. I don't want to sense. They're too strong. Yeah, I feel already prone to like getting a bit sicky in cars. Yeah. Just, I don't know, not since my dots have come into Vogue, but I do. I mean, but the way that they make me feel when it's like a really strong scent of like bubble gum or something, you're like, oh.
Starting point is 01:02:44 It's too bad. I had the Belinda Greed car scent face hanging in my car for a little while and then it got a bit much. Ice latte. It was a smell of ice latte. Yeah. It's a skinny latte. Skinny latte.
Starting point is 01:02:59 I've kept those tightly in plastic because I love my sister, but I do not want a smell in my room. What about like, you know, when you're on an aeroplane and there's the little pocket. Yeah. What about like a harnessing? strap-on pockets for the back seat, but it's attached to the front seat. So you could keep your wares in there. I don't like that. I mean, listen, I hate that.
Starting point is 01:03:26 I think as well, like, there's a lot of... You know, my favorite built-in accessory is that little coat hook in the back seat. I'd have to fish one finger through it and hold it as we drive. Yeah, I mean, that... But that is more used than hanging a Janie Jacket on there. Yeah, no one's doing that. And like if you did, you'd obscure your vision. Yeah, but I mean, who cares?
Starting point is 01:03:49 What are you going to see back there? I already saw the road when it was in front of me. Okay. Oh, that's good. Yeah. I don't really know how to drive. So I'm... What about rearview mirror extender?
Starting point is 01:03:59 I like that. They've lost that little flippy-do on modern cars where you used to flip the mirror when you had high beams coming up behind you. And now it just does it automatically. And I feel like I've been robbed of like feeling like I'm operating the controls of a spaceship by like reaching around the cabin. to like fix things.
Starting point is 01:04:16 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Instead, it's just like, oh, it does it automatically. Hmm. What about... Built in Bluetooth magnetized thing. What? Like when someone just snaps their phone to drive. What?
Starting point is 01:04:32 You know, when people, like, put their phone on those magnets... Oh, in the little, like, air duct thing. Yeah. Yeah. I... I don't really like things that go on the air duct thing. because I want that for air. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:46 But you know what? It's actually so good. If you're driving long distance through very like hot, you know, outback Australia, your phone does overheat. Oh, so it needs to be on the air vent. Having it on the vent is actually very advantageous to stop it from like slowing down and dying. I don't like how like things that would suction to a window in a car. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:10 Then forever the little suction like residue. somehow it's still always there. Well, you've got to clean it. Yeah, but I feel like it doesn't clean off entirely. No. And you can see like an alcohol in there. Yeah. But those like weird little shade things that they got to get for kids in the back
Starting point is 01:05:28 so they don't get burnt or whatever. Mm-hmm. I didn't like those. No, I don't like those. Let the kids burn. Yeah. I don't know. We didn't have, yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Yeah. What about? You put a t-shirt in there and roll up the window. Yes, that's fun. We did that a lot. Or a beach tower. Yeah. And what about a, yeah, like a reflector thing that you like have to bump out and then it's taken up all the space and then you put it in the front so your steering wheel isn't too hot.
Starting point is 01:05:55 I like that. I like that, I mean, I like that, but I would never use it. That's crazy. It's like being a person that brings an umbrella. But you know, if you're from Queensland, you have to do it. Bring reflector? Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Like you just can't. Your car will melt. But those steering wheel locks, I loved growing up. Oh my God, the extended ones. Yes. Oh, yeah. That's cool. Yeah, I like that.
Starting point is 01:06:18 I used to play with that all the time. Yeah, I used to think about using it as a weapon. Yes. Because it's called those handles? Yes. Was yours red? Of course. Yes.
Starting point is 01:06:29 With the kind of like vinyl exterior. Yeah. It's like a hard metal. Yeah, like rubbery, but, oof. But not like baby. Bring them back. Yes. Bring them back.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I used to use one as a gun. Yeah, they were. Yeah, oh. Okay. Well, no. I was using them more like a ninja turtle. Okay. Can we put that in?
Starting point is 01:06:53 Yeah. Do you have any thoughts about this? Well, it sounds good. Can it be fluffy or is it have to be? Fluffy. Matt? Matt. What?
Starting point is 01:07:04 Are you okay? I just like fluffy things. Matt. Matt. It's red kind of rubberized texture. I know, but it could have some fluff on it, too. Matt. We're not putting that in.
Starting point is 01:07:19 Sorry. You asked me. I'm just... Okay. Well, you won't make that mistake there. Sorry. Look, I've been... Don't punish us.
Starting point is 01:07:30 I never wanted to talk in this podcast. Oh! Whoa. Okay. Well, well, that you'll try to receive it. In abundance. You just kept asking me things. Cut the mic.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Wait, you're in control of the mics. You're going to have to cut the mic. the mic. I did give myself in a mic, so it's my own fault. Oh, God. Okay. Well, do we know what those things are called? It doesn't really matter. It doesn't. It's steering wheel luck. Steering wheel luck. Congratulations. You're in. Goodbye. What? Goodbye. I've lost Lazy Susan. She's done for the day. I just realized. My, um, the new trailer for Big Walk just came out. It was very exciting, which is the video game designed by my friends. Yeah, it was in the Nintendo direct this week.
Starting point is 01:08:18 is that good? Yes, it was cool. Although, oh, can I tell you a haunted story? Yeah. Which when I saw that trailer in the Nintendo Direct, I was obviously delighted because I have helped. I playtested that game a tiny bit, which was very cute. You need to go back. Oh, I guess they're gone.
Starting point is 01:08:40 And anyway, so that was very cute. And then, of course, I watched a few of the, like, stupid fucking dude bros watching the Nintendo direct to hear what they thought about the Ocarina of Time remake and blah blah blah and one of them that I watched he like got to that he was like what the fuck is this boring and just like skip straight over it I was like no that's so rude but yeah I am like kind of intrigued I'm so intrigued to know how the broader gamer world interprets the output of these like very sweet boys yes because they're very like this stuff is very like cute and nice but I don't think there's a lot of space for that in like the gamer bro world.
Starting point is 01:09:23 But thankfully the gamer world is much, much broader than that. Yes, well, obviously, yeah. But yeah, it's a funny one. But I just love how infuriated they become. Like, particularly when Goose Game was having its moment, like there's just so much rage about it, like winning all these awards and that's the thing. Because it wasn't like, like, the decision tree wasn't 10,000 things, you know what? Like, shut up.
Starting point is 01:09:46 it's just funny because not everything has to be for you. No, well also, maybe if you expand what you allowed to be for you, you would enjoy yourself more. I don't want to go to stand-up comedians. Zerza, we're back on. When we were at Comedy Republic the other week, we're talking to Alex Dyson. And I was so rude to that man. Sorry, Alex. Why?
Starting point is 01:10:11 Were you there for that conversation? Yes. I was so rude. Yes. But I just didn't realize. As I was saying it, as each thing came out, I was like, oh no, this is turning into a rude story. But weren't you saying how famous he is? Yes.
Starting point is 01:10:25 But who was he? He's a guy. So he's one of the co-owners of Comedy Republic who paid for our show. This I knew. But then what was the famous part? So then I was at the aforementioned Living Wake. Hey, he is famous. With Cass Campbell, who I love.
Starting point is 01:10:45 and she was saying, oh, she listens to this. I mean, who I tolerate. There we go. She wouldn't like that level of intimacy. But she was saying how something about like how she loved Alex Tyson and like, he was very excited that he was about to put out this new book, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, what? I had assumed, I thought he was like the silent partner.
Starting point is 01:11:09 That's what I thought. I think he was like a good time gal, but I didn't realize that he was, someone famous. And so when I was speaking to him after the show, one of the final witchie girl's show, I was like, Alex, I had the weirdest experience on the weekend. I was with my friend and she said that you're, well, now this sounds rude, but she said that you were famous and I had no idea. But I think that's fair.
Starting point is 01:11:36 Yeah. But I just reflected on that later on being like, oh my God. Wasn't he on Triple J for like years and years? Yeah. Oh, but should I follow back? Oh, no. Yeah, I'll give him a bone. Look, God, he's so overqualified.
Starting point is 01:11:57 That is so funny. Because, yeah, during that conversation, I was like, I only just someone who helped producers. Wait, you're famous? Yes. But I was trying not to let on. Did I do a good job, sister? You did a great job.
Starting point is 01:12:10 Thank you. I was, yeah. He's got nearly 100,000 followers. I know. He doesn't need your follow back. Well, also, I'm like, as someone who's part of, like, a very niche community of, like, within certain circles, people would be like, oh, I know who that is. Yes. But not outside of that.
Starting point is 01:12:29 I think it's like, well, darling, I never listen to radio and I don't read your book. So how would I know who you are? Yeah. Yeah. But I just thought it was funny. And I was, like, later on, thought that was very rude. To not know. Well, not to not know, but just to be like, can you believe?
Starting point is 01:12:48 Turns out people really like you. God, it's crazy. I had no idea. I don't think that's how you did. Just thought you were this guy. You have that guy energy. It's fine. So, that brings us to the end of another episode.
Starting point is 01:13:02 God, what a treat. Oh, Matt. What discography would you use to make an Angrilyette musical? Yes. I thought of one before. Now, I cannot remember. Oh, we'll see. Red hot chili peppers
Starting point is 01:13:15 The smashing pumcans Hmm No I thought Katie Perry was pretty funny No I'm laughing I'm laughing What

Starting point is 01:14:35 Up in the sky Drinking champagne Living my life Yeah, that could be like The sequel or something Furgy And Fergie Oh could be the story of Fergie
Starting point is 01:14:52 Like the Duchess of Pork They used to call me The Duchess of Pork But now You ever Fergie Wait, which is Fergie? Did you call it the Dunners of Pork? In those ads
Starting point is 01:15:05 Fergie of the Duchess of York Yes She would do these assholes for lean cuisine where she'd be like, they used to call me the Duchess of Pork. It's so awful. I don't think they used to call her that. But I think she had to say it for the ad over and over there. That is hilarious. The Duchess of Pork?
Starting point is 01:15:24 That's also a great drag name. The Duchess of pork. Pork Queen. Christine Brown. I'm going to start the outro music. Okay. Okay. That's not a matter.
Starting point is 01:15:42 What did we have in the bunker today? Oh, I thought you were starting the outro music. I've started it already. Have you? Yeah. No. Going to the bunker this week. You're just saying things now.
