• ICE agents ram their unmarked SUV into a fleeing Houston construction worker, shattering his leg in a pursuit of an alleged fugitive. As local police consider criminal charges against ICE and accu...se ICE of lying and destroying evidence, the face plastered on their “wanted bulletin” belongs to a ghost: a man who plunged to his death from a Mexican border cliff in 2017 while evading immigration agents, leaving his family horrified.Editorial cartoonist Ted Rall and political analyst Jamarl Thomas deprogram you from mainstream media every weekday at 9 AM Eastern time.Today we also discuss:• Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney warns that the US is trying to break Canada so it can “own us,” as oil-rich Alberta holds a non-binding referendum on Monday that could start the legal process toward a future separation vote. The vote asks whether Alberta should remain a province or instruct its government to begin constitutional steps for a later binding referendum on leaving Canada.• Teen shooter kills 3 children and a teacher at Bend, Oregon elementary school before a bystander kills him.• White House officials ordered the Pentagon to limit Ukraine’s Starshield satellite service for drone operations, Reuters reports, though Trump did not personally direct it. Starting point is 00:00:12 Good morning. This is D. Program with Ted Raul and Jamarlem Thomas. It's Friday, October 16, 2026. We are going to have a Jamal joining us in just a minute or two when he finishes up with his usual show. Thanks for tuning in and for supporting the show. Really appreciate you. We're here Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays. We're here until 10 o'clock. Today, however, even though it is a Friday, is a truncated show. So we're only here for an hour. Got half a dozen stories to cover, so that's roughly 10 minutes each. Good morning, Jamarle. And we are going to no DMZ America. We're going to take the week off this week due to the fact that co-hosts Godstantis is traveling. TMI resumes next week.
Starting point is 00:01:05 All right, here's what we've got this for today. This is a really crazy story. You know, to ice, all dark-skinned people look the same. And now apparently, dark-skinned, you know, dead people look the same as dark-skinned live people. Remember, the guy that they ran into on purpose and lied about in Houston? They ran over him and broke his leg in a million pieces. Turns out that the guy they were actually looking for, and they claimed that he was actually died nine years ago himself being chased by. other immigration agents and on a cliff on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Starting point is 00:01:47 I swear you can't make this stuff up. Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada says that the U.S. is trying to own Canada and break it apart. He's urging Alberta not to vote for independence or to start step towards independence. Another school shooting. It had been a while. I was like wondering what's going on. This one in Bend, Oregon, three kids. teacher dead so far, 16-year-old shooter, bystander saw him and killed him. It turns out,
Starting point is 00:02:18 which this probably doesn't need a lot of time to talk about, but we had sort of speculated yesterday about who told Starlink to or who shut down or throttled Starlink for Ukraine. That order, Reuters says, did come out as we thought from the White House. Trump apparently didn't know about it. I have some questions for you about that tomorrow. Dublin, a hotel in Dublin, canceled a block of rooms reserved for an anti-Semitism conference. This is not an IDF or Israel thing. So obviously now you're starting to see, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:55 sort of blowback against Israel that's migrating against Jews in general. And I have further thoughts about Ilhan Omar, and there's more details coming out about exactly what the DOJ is on about. and we'll talk about that. I think this is a wedge test for Democrats, Gibral. So where shall we start? Let's start with, oh, there was a story that you recounted. It wasn't an Iohan Omar one.
Starting point is 00:03:22 It was the two ones before Ilhan Omar. Two ones before, that would be Star Shield. Yes, Star Shield. Okay, okay. Yeah, so from my point of view, it was like, okay, this is obviously coming out the White House, right? Yep, you called it. Yeah, and we both called it.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Because it was like, do we really believe that Elon Musk is sitting somewhere, turning up and down the dowels of Star Shield? He has too many kids to create. He doesn't have time for that. Right, he has to procreate and get to Mars. He doesn't have time for all that. It's obviously the White House. Trump is being humiliated by Zelensky hitting refiners.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Meaning when the White House comes out, the president of the United States, the beacon of democracy, comes out. It says, stop hitting refineries. And you're telling your client. It's like you're telling your child. And they continuously do it. And then they go on Pierce Morgan and bitch about it.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Oh, we felt betrayed by our allies. They weren't helping us. We need patriots, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, what does that mean for the president? Is the president too weak to control his proxy? And so, yeah, I can imagine the White House. We need to teach that little troll a lesson. So when you go off for your attacks using the weapon in ways that technically, according to Elon Musk, aren't supposed to be used, because they're not supposed to be used in offensive operations.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Uh-huh. Wink, wink, you have to say that for your, you know, just hashtag Russia, don't blow my shit out the sky. Right. We turn it out. Now, the interesting part is what do you point out? They claim Trump didn't know. That is the interesting part. That's wild.
Starting point is 00:05:05 It doesn't it? I mean, didn't you connect this to, to the fiasco about the execution and Hengssef? Yeah, I thought the first thing I thought was HECF. I was like, how is he this in the dark? Like, did HECF tell the president that he was going to execute him on live stream? The president didn't seem to know. Or for that matter, him being in a wheelchair. The wheelchair, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:27 He barely knew about the live stream, and he certainly didn't know about the wheelchair. Yeah. And now you get the situation where they're like, nobody told the president. Okay, so who did it? Who did it? Like, obviously, you don't need like a micromanager president, right? Like, but you do want the president to be read into the most important stuff. And this is important stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:51 And obviously- They're telling the truth. Right. It could be plausible deniability. I mean, talk about extremes of plausible deniability. A lot of people don't know this. because there's literally, I mean, he did know probably, but there's no historical evidence that Adolf Hitler ever knew about the Holocaust.
Starting point is 00:06:10 In other words, there's no memo. There's no, like he never signed off on it. He's like, you know, go team. Like, no, nothing like that. Like, so it's like maybe it's plausible deniability. Like the boss doesn't want to know. We just won't tell the boss. It could be that.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I mean, but this goes back to a lot of plausible deniability that takes place between the president, CIA, other agents. Like Ronald Reagan, the Gipper, when Ronald Reagan was like, I didn't know anything about the Iran-Contra affair, but I'm the Gipper and the buck stops with me. Okay, did Reagan actually know? Yeah, I believe Reagan knew. Right?
Starting point is 00:06:46 I think Reagan knew all about it. Yeah. Yeah. And so I'm left with a situation like this where the president is being humiliated by a client. could this be a could this be a Biden situation where the president is just out of it and mentally and therefore that's why he's not being he's not involved in these but he's an empty husk like Joe Biden was it but it's humiliating like anyway you look at it it's humiliating you're you're
Starting point is 00:07:18 telling your client like this puts me in mind of Joe Biden and then Yahoo that's what this puts me in mind of where Joe Biden is like well Israel needs this stop that, so forth, and they blow past it. Well, Israel shouldn't do so forth, and they blow past it. Meaning over and over again, it's like he took every opportunity to humiliate Joe Biden. It feels a little bit like this. Hey, I need Zelensky to stop doing that. And Zelensky continues to do it. Then Zelensky goes and bitches about it. And even the White House thing where he gets into a pissing match with Vance and Trump in the middle of reporters, meaning he knows what he's doing, when he's bringing this stuff to the public because he believes that the public is his leverage.
Starting point is 00:07:57 But I can tell the American public this, and the American public would agree with me about this. And I can humiliate the president and force the president into doing X or Y based on public humiliation. He better be careful with that. I mean, the Europeans are freaking out. Well, the Europeans are basically like, shut the F up about Trump stuff. Like you realize we need him. And the startling thing is a big thing, right? Like the idea that they were not able to pursue their military objectives without the U.S. allowing them to do so.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Well, that's interesting, right? It's super interesting. Yeah. It's like, well, our allies didn't tell us. And by the way, and who in the White House, right? Like, the White House told us, right? Now, that doesn't imply to me, Higset or the cabinet or the CIA. It's the White House.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Is this Susie Wiles? Like, you know, she's like, you know, large and in charge and just taking care of it. You know, like tell that little Z bitch to back off. I mean, who at the White House? I don't know. I honestly, I don't know. That's what I mean. Like, when I hear White House, I think Trump, Trump did this.
Starting point is 00:09:10 And now they're trying to create this delineation between Trump and the White House. Or he just has one of his passel of dumb blondes call. I mean, what's going on? Well, somebody apparently told the Pentagon, turn it down. Who is that person? I'm still going with the assumption of Trump. The catch becomes, why doesn't Trump want anybody to know? Okay, well, maybe the White House or the president doesn't want to be associated with it.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Because apparently they've turned Star Shield back to its normal settings. Well, you know, I'm reading this book that we're going to interview, you know, Stephen Kinzer, you know, the week after next about, you know, about Ukraine. And it reminded, I was reading just yesterday this quote that you're, you'll remember this. I wish I had the clip, but Putin was being interviewed. And he said, you know, I've been here a long time and I've seen, you know, Democratic and Republican presidents come and go. And he said, like, it seems like, you know, just when you start to feel like, oh, we're going to get a new president who's going to be able to talk to us and we're going to be
Starting point is 00:10:07 able to do business and, you know, we're going to have some reason, you know, come in. That, you know, guys in suits come in. And he's like, they wear different same color suits as me, but different tie than me. Remember he said that? And they come in and then they, you know, and then they have briefcases. And they just tell the new president, like, no, you're not allowed to make nice with Russia. And like, you have to suck up to Ukraine and you have to suck up to Israel. And this is how things are.
Starting point is 00:10:37 And they read them in. And then that's it. And he said, I've seen this happen over and over again. I mean, that's kind of what's going on here. I think, look, I think Donald Trump probably hates Zelensky. and he's probably would love to cut the Ukrainians loose. I mean, I don't think anyone in Trump's position, Democrat or Republican, would not hate Zelensky. I mean, he's a pain in the ass.
Starting point is 00:10:59 He's demanding. He's a pipsqueak. He doesn't have the, you know, he doesn't hold the cards, as Trump likes to say. And yet he's making all these demands. And for what? What does the U.S. get out of it just more trouble? You know, it's like he's annoying. And so, you know, when you're in a situation,
Starting point is 00:11:18 where you're forced to deal with someone who you hate. You know, you're going to be passive. Your only workaround is passive aggressiveness. I think that's what this is here. I would say that's the workaround. That's how it works. You know, you've had that. Like when you're in a situation where you, you know, your boss or family member,
Starting point is 00:11:38 your parents, like, you know, they're trying, you can't get out of it because they're holding the, they're pulling the string somehow. And you're like, all right, but I can be passive. Like, I could be slow. On this defense, this passive aggressiveness. I could be slow getting back to you. Yeah. Did you see the interview between Trump and Zelensky?
Starting point is 00:11:58 I'm sorry, between Trump and when they're asked, when Trump is asked about Zelensky, this the place, I think it was either last night or night before last on Newsmax. I'm going to put it in. So you, I'm going to put this in a job. Oh, great, but yeah, Robbie, please take care of that. And while you do that, we have a few comments while you're, while you're doing it. He trashes my hell out Zelensky. He does. Oh, that's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:12:20 F. You go, thanks for the dollar. He says he's going to see the sex pistols. I'm going to argue about this, okay? You're not going to see the sex pistols. The sex pistols is not the sex pistols without Johnny Rotten, okay, a.k.a. Johnny Latin. But anyway, it's Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glenn Matlock. Okay, the original members, except Glenn Matlock didn't tour with them.
Starting point is 00:12:43 That was Sid Vicious, but he couldn't play. Glenn Matlock recorded the album. But Frank Carter, this is just like the Dead Kennedys. Like, Dead Kennedys are touring without Jello Biafra. That's fucked up. I mean, you know, it's like when the doors, like put out a couple of albums after Jim Morrison died. Like, what are you guys thinking? Or Mata Hoopold without Ian Hunter?
Starting point is 00:13:03 What are you guys thinking? You know, it's just Pink Floyd after Roger Waters left. What are you nuts? Earth went in fire when, what's his name? Maurice. What is his first name? I can't think of the name. The original lead singer.
Starting point is 00:13:16 On the other hand, Pink Floyd carried on after Sid Barrett and things went well, but I mean, you know, still. Okay, we have it here. Robbie, can you pose? Go ahead and be so kind as to play this clip for us. And then we got to move on to our other topics. Thank you, Robbie. I don't hear it. No, I'm not a big fan of Zelensky. They've destroyed that country. Zelensky is a not a good guy for a. to deal with. Biden gave him hundreds of billions of dollars. Billions and billions of dollars worth of the government? Well, I think they're going to end up with a settlement of some kind.
Starting point is 00:14:02 They're not going to do it with him. He doesn't want to settle. He says he wants to settle, but he isn't. No, I'm not a I'm not a big fan of Zelensky. They've destroyed that country. That country, look, it really began with Barack Hussein Obama when they made them give up Crimea. Crimea is the most valuable part by far of Ukraine. You know what I'm talking. Yeah, four sides of ocean. Right. Most beautiful piece of land. I'm a real estate developed, I know, I know good land. And Zolanski is a, and not a good guy for us to deal with. Okay, we, we gave him hundreds of billions of dollars.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Billions and billions of dollars. Have you lost faith in him? Well, I think they're going to, if they're going to end up with a settlement of some kind, they're not going to do. Okay. Yeah, there's another part of that clip, what Trump calls him like a clown. Like a circus bark or something like that? Well, I mean, he's literally a comedian. I mean, literally. Not, look, I'm a cartoonist.
Starting point is 00:14:57 No shade on the comedians. But, I mean, it's still like, I mean, he is kind of a clown. Although, so is Donald Trump. Which is funny to me that Donald Trump is putting life in him right now. Like, he is trashing him outright. Well, you know, comedians don't like each other. You ever notice that? Like, when they're on a panel together, they're always like trying to talk over each other.
Starting point is 00:15:18 They're trying to one up each other. Yeah. Yeah. I think, look, I guess for my point of view, Zelensky better be very careful in this situation. I think the Europeans in this all right. Tone it down going after Trump. Don't.
Starting point is 00:15:34 I mean, yeah, without Trump, I mean, he's got nothing. I mean, look, obviously, you know, it's so funny, under normal circumstances, you would look at a clip like that and say, okay, the U.S. is done with Zelensky, finished. And, you know, it's like at this point, Ukraine might be finished with the U.S. The only way around it would be for, you know, for the powers that be in Ukraine to overthrow Zelensky and install someone new, right? And you notice I don't say elect someone new because they don't have elections, right? So it's not, they don't do that anymore. So, but this is different.
Starting point is 00:16:09 We know what happened with that with that fiasco in the Oval Office with Vance. And, you know, so obviously with Trump, this is. probably just sort of shooting across Zolensky's bow, like, cut the shit, you know, quit being, you know, who the fuck do you think you are? Yeah. It's interesting. We're going to watch it. We've got to keep going, though, because we have a lot more to do. But, all right. I don't even know. Let's get the school shooting. I don't have a lot to say about it. I mean, here we go again, basically. Ben Dorgan, I've been there. You know, it's like, for whatever that's worth. A 16-year-old high school kid, when, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:48 in with a long gun, killed at least three kids and a teacher so far. We hope that's it. And, you know, it's the usual hearts and prayers and people calling for gun control on the left, people on the right, you know, saying, hey, thank God for the good guy with the gun. I mean, it's boring. I mean, not for the people who, you know, whose community has been, you know, decimated, but it's the same old, same old. This is just like another day in America. Yeah, this is the ritual that we engage in after school shooting in order to make ourselves feel okay until it happens again, we will go through the same ritual to make ourselves feel okay. It's like, you know, I lose my job, so I'm going to get ice cream.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Right? It's like, okay, this is a horrible thing. Here we go again. Yeah, like it's this ritual of sorts. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, without doing anything, if that makes sense. But it's almost like the ritual itself takes priority. I'm trying to think of a better example. It's like me doing something. It's like me spinning my wheels. It's like, okay, I'm going to work on this thing.
Starting point is 00:18:00 And yet, whatever I'm doing is not necessarily working on this thing. It just gives me the feeling as if I'm working on this thing when really you're not really doing anything. You're standing still. It's that. Which is the point about it being boring. Yeah, I feel that way. Like when Obama would come out and sing Amazing Grace,
Starting point is 00:18:16 every time somebody get killed, some kind of mass shooting or school shooting or something like that. And it's like, dude, you're president. Yes, if only there was a person, the only person who had a job with incredible influence and power. No. It feels like, it's that. I get it, right?
Starting point is 00:18:35 The president is not a king. He's not a dictator. But it feels that way. It's kind of like you seem to be in a position of authority. I don't need you to sing an amazing grace. Somebody else can save my soul. I need you to do things of law and justice and shit like that. I mean, okay, so listen, I'm really glad we got this comment from one-haer Maven who says,
Starting point is 00:18:57 why doesn't anyone ever call for better mental health care in America? And, you know, I mean, that is an angle that we do hear from time to time. I mean, obviously, most of these school shooters are, you know, mentally disturbed. it's not hard to imagine what was going through the mind of a 16-year-old kid who did this. I mean, if you've ever been 16, it's probably not hard to imagine. It isn't for me. That's pretty fucking heavy. I hated school.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I wouldn't have, it would have crossed my mind to blow up my own school, not an elementary school. You know, I mean, I hated it. You know, obviously, I'm sure that those thoughts cross the minds of, you know, hundreds of thousands of American school kids every single day. Wait, wait, just to be clear, we're saying the thoughts of taking a weapon, a gun, and going through and murdering. Maybe not that. And children.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Yeah, I don't buy that. I don't buy that premise. But just like if there was, if you could push a button and just make your school disappear, right? I don't buy the premise. I don't think there's that much hatred in school like that. Like, maybe you had a better school experience than I did. I guarantee you I did. I guarantee you I did.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I'm just pointing out like this idea. Like it never occurred to me to say when like at no point through my entire time in school. And this includes being at odds with people in that school, not good ways, that I would have came to myself and thought, I'm going to take a gun and I'm going to just murder people in school. That's mind blowing to me that you think that that's a normal thought. When Eric Harris and Dylan Kleboldt shot up column. And everyone thinks that's like the first time that's happened. That's not true. But in the modern era, it's the one that we first started paying attention to.
Starting point is 00:20:48 I remember just thinking, like, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. You know, it's, you know, I was like, school, I mean, school is, there's so many indignities. I mean, there's bullying. There's bullying by the school itself. There's, I mean, I don't know to what extent this stuff still goes on, but when I was a kid, there was corporal punishment in public schools. That's still true in a bunch of things. There was also being, like, you know, being picked last repeatedly for teams and everyone making fun of you. You know, there's, there's, you know, you run for school class president or whatever and you win, but the school decides they don't want to let you have that office because, you know, this principal doesn't like you.
Starting point is 00:21:33 There's just a lot of injustice and cruelty in school. and, you know, it's not discouraged by the administration. Yeah, but bullying is the only thing that I would understand if the person was... There's also a class hierarchy, right? I mean, there's the jocks who are, you know, ruling over everyone else. I mean, you know, there's different dynamic. Every school is unique and has its own dynamics. But, I mean, you know, Heather's like completely, the movie, 1988, plays entirely off this dynamic.
Starting point is 00:22:06 The original ending has them blowing up. the school and frying up marshmallows over the flames of the school and everyone laughing about it. I mean, it's obviously not the most deranged thought in the world. I'm not saying it's the most deranged thought in the world. There are all sorts of things that are going to be deranged. I'm not saying it's a good thing. I'm not encouraging anyone to do this. Yeah, I'm just making a point.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I don't think that's the normal thought. I mean, maybe it's a generational gap because, you know, you're a boomer. I don't know what the hell I am, what Generation X or whatever. whatever the hell that is. That may be a generational guy. And by the way, I don't mean boomers and I'm not going about just like the word is funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:45 But it could be different because we didn't have corporate punishment in our schools. Like at the, let me see, I was in school. I graduated in 95. When did you graduate your high school? 81. That's a bit of a gap. It's a gap for sure.
Starting point is 00:23:04 I don't know if the gap things changed a lot. And also it depends on the state you went in. And I mean, you know, I mean, you know, I mean, it sometimes felt like living in a fascist state. But school is a fascist state. It's supposed to be. It's instruction. Like, I mean, meaning you are programming kids.
Starting point is 00:23:22 It's a fascist state. But I don't see how adulthood is all that radically different. Well, we have more to cover. And I do want to keep this moving. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I literally thought we'd be able to dispose of this one pretty quickly. No, I just thought is interesting that thought, that thought that this is a thought that you think a lot of people. Kidso says, Ted, shouldn't get sympathy because they're not in their right mind.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Ooh. I mean, you know, I mean, the kid's dead, unfortunately. We don't have it. So therefore, we don't have the ability to ask him what was going on, right? I mean. Yeah, they killed him. Yeah. Most of these school shooters, FUSO says, were on SSRI drugs, where some now call school shooter,
Starting point is 00:24:02 which some now call school shooter pills. Yeah. That could be true. I mean, causation does, correlation does not make causation. But, yeah, I mean, obviously, look, you know what, school shootings aside, and even we need, look, we need national health care, including mental health care and vision and dental, right? Like, nobody even talks about those, as if they're separate or something like, well, your eyes don't matter. Well, Medicare is separated. Yeah, Medicare is like, it doesn't even.
Starting point is 00:24:35 It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. Like, gum health is really important to your overall health. But anyway, the point is, we need better men. Even if it doesn't save a single kid from being shot by a school shooter in the future, we still deserve and need, you know, public mental health care in this country. And that should, even if nothing else, this were to lead, these kind of events were to lead to that someday. That would be, I guess, a positive outcome to a negative thing.
Starting point is 00:25:03 Let me ask you this. Do you think people have gotten weaker over time? No, that's a great question. I think that's yes. I think it's definitively yes. Okay. I see. Elaborate.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Well, because I see some of the stuff that takes place in regards to kids and younger people today. And everything is traumatic. Everything is trauma. And I think some of the stuff that went on back in my life and it's like, dude, that's not trauma. That's just life. And they get coddled by either parents, especially on the left. And even on the right, right? Like they have their own pet ponies that they get coddled.
Starting point is 00:25:38 by. It just seems like the mental health thing is worse today because of, and I hate to say this, maybe I'm sounding old myself on this, it just seems like it's different. What people would tolerate in the past is not what people were tolerate now. And because there's a, let's say, a movement to the level on many of these issues, then it becomes much more socially acceptable to be traumatized by stuff that in the past would just be considered living. I mean, I think it's a positive thing that we're now dealing. I mean, maybe I'm biased about this because I've been diagnosed that my shrink is having PTSD. But I think it's a positive thing that trauma is something that we're more aware of and that people know, you know, maybe are more likely to go and seek help
Starting point is 00:26:25 for rather than turning it inward against themselves. But you may have a point. I mean, you know, nowadays, Gen X is finally, you know, being noticed by Gen Z. And it's like, who's this other generation no one ever talks about and it's all over there's all this internet stuff right now about like what exactly is up with gen x and how they'd have no time for anything and it's basically like look yeah we don't really whinge because it's kind of like with that thing like well we could complain but who would listen right nobody ever can listen to gen x complaining so we learned that from a young age no one gives a shit what we think so we might as well just like when we have to, when when something comes up, we just have to deal with it. And, uh, and we, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:10 we soldier through it's not fun. It just is what it is. And now like, I think with Gen Z where they're like living their entire lives online and everything, they're kind of like, those guys are kind of cool. Like, what's with that? We could maybe pick up a few hints from Gen X. So, I mean, it's kind of funny. It's like that sort of, you know, are we weaker? Um, you know, I mean, maybe, but I'm not sure weaker is bad, but Math 56 brings up an excellent point. It says Ted, the biggest difference for kids nowadays is cell phone and social media. Everyone has a camera and once it's posted, it's on the internet forever. We're seeing that with the Cornell rape case, right?
Starting point is 00:27:46 Where it's like all these texts are all screenshoted. Everyone's life is online. You know, the alleged victims comments about herself like, oh, I'm a slut. And it's like, oh, she's a slut. I mean, it's just like there's no fucking privacy. I mean, that is a way to be driven in. insane. True. True. Except that. Like, you know, I didn't grow up in a school that, um, that where people can be chased online, meaning you leave school and then you have
Starting point is 00:28:17 bullying online on top of being at school. Yeah, it can drive a person crazy. Or you do have a indiscretion. Um, and all of a sudden it's online forever. Right. It's like basically we all live in a small town where everyone knows every stupid fucking thing you ever did. Yeah. And everybody has a comment everybody has words everybody has things i mean i don't know i mean that's a new okay i accept that's a new norm that's a new that's a that's a huge change between yeah i mean there was there's been changes between you know my high school experience and yours and i think between uh yours and uh the kids today that's yeah that's right that's the big difference it's gonna have to be some kind of new social norm that's developed for dealing with this shit especially growing up with
Starting point is 00:29:00 yeah robbie no whenever no there's no really really really two absolutes ever taught my kids. And by absolutes, I mean, just just a corporate absolute. I didn't really go to high school. So I didn't have the experience of the one of y'all had. I was just feral when I was growing up. But the first lesson that I taught my kids, when they were around eight years old, I gave them a blank sheet of paper. I said, this is what you're owed by life. And my daughter's like, dad, there's nothing on it. That's correct. You're owed nothing. What you put on this, whatever you put on this paper is what you earn. You earn it. You're owed nothing. I don't think that's true, by the way. Well,
Starting point is 00:29:42 maybe, maybe not. Well, the reason why I don't think it's, okay, I'm sorry, finish your thought. But I'm just saying, like, there's nothing special about you. Like, there's, you're not owed anything by society. I mean, sure. Or even if you are owed something, you may, you may or you may not get it, right? Sure. I mean, don't get me wrong. I think they're in terms of education, things like that. But as far as you specifically being owed by virtue of being my son or being my daughter, this is what you're guaranteed life. To put a finer point on it, maybe it would be better to say, you know, what you can expect to receive.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Yeah. That'd be fair enough. Remember, you don't have to do with the limit of vocabulary here. Then the other lesson I took them is I took them out to a clay pit with a watermelon and I shot it with an S-KS rifle. I said if you get a gun from, that's in the closet. If you shoot somebody, this is what happens. don't do it because there's no fixing this and that lesson is burned in there those two lessons
Starting point is 00:30:37 i've stuck with them and i'm thankful for that simple works you don't need a bunch of you don't need to just to drug somebody up and then tell them oh you're special you poured a little thing somebody hurt your feelings here here's a teddy bear which i'm hot chocolate life doesn't work that way life is a costly kicking the balls every single day get used to it wear a cup Yeah. All right. Anything to add to that before we move on? By the way, just a little bit of housekeeping. Guys, if you're just, if you're just tuning in, we're only here until 10 o'clock today. We have another 28 minutes left in today's show. Normally, we'd be here until 11, but we'll back to our regular schedule next week. But anyway, and also, please subscribe to the show. We appreciate and need your subscriptions. That's, and your Rumble Rants and your super chats. Can we move on? Yeah, we can move on. I mean, I understand the point.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Like, he's, I understand the point. The only reason I said initially disagree with because if you bring a kid into the world, they require things, just to exist. But we can move on. Okay. Requiring things and but being owed something are two different things. Like I'm required to feed you, provide for you, clothing. Those are things that you're entitled to by virtue of you being alive.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Yeah. But you're not owed a car. You're not owed a six-figure salary. You're not owed a scholarship. You're not owed any of the benefits of this life. You're owed the necessities, but you're not owed the extras. That's fine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:17 And not everyone gets the necessities, obviously. Okay, let's talk about Ilhan Omar. So, you know, we talked about her already. So to put a fine point on what's going on here. So basically, her parents applied for her. to come into the United States. On her immigration application, her birth date was listed as 1982.
Starting point is 00:32:38 She was 17 years old at the time. So because she was not yet an adult, you become an adult at 18 in the U.S., she would have been under her parents' application. She wouldn't have filled out anything herself. Had she been 18, she would have been required to fill out her own individual application as an adult.
Starting point is 00:32:57 So apparently, Wikipedia, of all things, which we know how incredibly reliable that is because anyone and everyone can go and edit it, stated that she was born actually in 1981. That apparently is the basis for the Department of Justice investigation. A Wikipedia article. Wikipedia article.
Starting point is 00:33:18 So there's a conflict between Ilhan Omar's birthdate on Wikipedia and what she says her birthday is, which is 1982. Well, this is sure, what's on Wikipedia? That's marvelous. Shortly after she'd be, for whatever you want to, this also probably doesn't mean anything. But in May 2019, months after she entered Congress, Ilhan Omar approached the Minnesota legislative reference library and asked to change her birth date from 1981 to 1982 because it had pulled the information from Wikipedia. That is apparently the smoking gun that the DOJ is pointing to. Now, here's where things get interesting.
Starting point is 00:34:00 I've been thinking about this. Okay, so, I mean, logically, it's probably, she may not have a birth certificate that she can point to because she's from a war-torn country that was a failed state at the time, right? That's why her family was admitted as a refugee, right? I mean, Somalia was a failed state. So when she was born, the country was falling apart. If the birth records ever existed, she, I mean, she may have been born at home, but even if she was born at hospital with official records, those records probably were destroyed during the war.
Starting point is 00:34:36 So she probably doesn't have a birth certificate. She can't point to this document and say, otherwise, you know, we have shades of Barack Obama's long form birth certificate. Once again, this is birtherism, right? This is Donald Trump kind of, again, doing birtherism. And in this case, she probably doesn't have a good way around it. This reminds me of when I was a, I worked in the admissions office at Columbia in the early 90s, and we had some transfer applicants who came from places where, for various reasons, they didn't have all their birth records. They didn't have their college transcripts. Like I remember we had an applicant who had attended college in China during the Cultural Revolution,
Starting point is 00:35:21 and all the transcripts were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. And so we basically had to interview her and try to determine her. whether she was full of shit and had actually been to high school and maybe had a year or two of college in China. We wouldn't have, there's no grades. We don't know anything about, you know, and anyway. So we had to basically take a flyer. Like, we decided to like let her in. We were like, it's not like it, I think it would have been a problem if we had thousands of applicants like that, but because we're only a few. We're like, give her a chance. And if she fucks up, she'll just leave. Right. But like, well, you know, and we told her that. We're like,
Starting point is 00:36:00 Like we don't know. We just don't know. But we'll let, we're going to give you a chance here. And I think this kind of, so this is, there's this. So there's that, this angle I wanted to talk to you about. And I also wanted to talk, get your thoughts on. I realized this, she's a wedge issue. This is why the Republicans have picked her and are picking on her because they know that she's on the squad. She's a socialist. And she knows that the mainstream, the DNC Democrats, the Chuck Schumers of the world, the Nancy Polaro's, Nancy Pelosi's of the world don't care about her or like her. And they want that people like her out of the party. They don't. And so it's like Democrats have issued a few strongly worded complaints online about this. But honestly, this is a test for the Democratic warning,
Starting point is 00:36:49 emergency warning system. If I were in the Democratic leadership, I'd say, this is a test for us. We have to defend our sitting congressman. She's a fellow party member. She's a member of Congress. Who cares? We'll never fucking know what year she was born. But we should do no business. There will be no military spending.
Starting point is 00:37:12 We will not raise the debt limit. We will not do shit. There will be no quorum in Congress. We will shut down the government. We back off, leave her the fuck alone. And the fact that they're not doing that plays right into the hands of the president. Yeah, yeah, agree. I mean, aside from the racist element associated with going after, going after a Muslim. Yeah, it's because the first, my first question was, okay, well, what about her birth certificate?
Starting point is 00:37:42 And as you point out, she may not have one, depending upon, you know, based on what was taking place when she immigrated into the country, she immigrated from a war-torn country. And so then the question becomes, this is so, of all the things that a government can look for. You can lose your birth certificate under very, even stupider circumstances than that. Like my ex-wife, she was born in Taiwan, and in Taiwan, that your birth certificate is not stored at like a public records office as it is in the United States. It's stored by the hospital. Well, the hospital where she was born was closed.
Starting point is 00:38:23 So she had to have a relative go and like basically find. find out if those archives that still exist and they do, but they're somewhere else and they had to go find a copy of her birth certificate. But I mean, shit happens, right? But she's going to have, I mean, this is obviously going to go to court because it doesn't seem like they're going to let this go. And obviously what they're trying to do is denaturalizer so that she can be deported. Exactly. That's what they want. That's what they want.
Starting point is 00:38:51 More facts, don't seem to give a shit. No. They don't seem to care. Like, they're not howling. in the way that you would think they would be howling as one of their own is being picked apart. Because this is the test. Of course they're going to start with someone
Starting point is 00:39:06 who they can otherize and who doesn't have a lot of protection, institutional protection from the system because the system doesn't care that much about her. Right. Yeah, agree. And the system being her political party, you would think that the party would care and yet they don't.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I mean, they're, they, They complain more about John Bolton. The raid on John Bolton's house. Right. Then we're not complaining about this. Right. Fuck John Bolton. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:36 But, you know, every day on MSNBC, oh my God, they raided John Bolton's house. Yeah, true. I guess my point is, yeah, they should be screaming to higher heaven about this. I mean, this is fucking outrageous. The woman is literally- This should be like, stop the presses. We're not doing anything until you drop this bone. even if you personally think I hate Ilhan Omar and she's fucking up the Democratic Party,
Starting point is 00:40:00 even if you privately believe all that, you've got to know, like, you know, first they came for Ilhan Omar and I said nothing because she was a socialist and in the squad. Then they, you know, this is this is a Martin Nehuller moment. Like, you just can't let it pass. I have a question. Is she really a socialist? Well, for example, when is she ever? I think she's a corporate Democrat.
Starting point is 00:40:22 I mean, there's nothing socialist about her. You know what I mean. She's on the left. She's on the left side, the left part of what passes for the left and the Democratic part. I'm sorry. The squad is not the Jamaral Thomas or Ted Raught version of socialism. So y'all's point about Trump going after. Yeah, she's red meat.
Starting point is 00:40:44 And I think that she's probably done more damage to herself by betraying the people that she thought were going to fight for her that she was going to fight for. And that's why they're just hanging out to dry. It's not because she's some persecuted minority. It's because she's an ineffectual member of Congress who lied to her constituents. Yeah, but lying to your constituents is like a standard thing that congressmen do. Yeah, but don't be surprised that no one is rallying behind you. Yeah, that's not why. But you have a political party and you would think, I mean, for God's sake,
Starting point is 00:41:14 they would rally behind any other random corporate Democrat. Totally. They're just not rally around her. They see her as something. Like, meaning the members of the squad, regardless of whether you think they're intellectual and that is secondary to the point that the party hates them. Yeah, right? The party doesn't like them.
Starting point is 00:41:31 And so the idea that they're going after Ilhan has more to do with the fact that they're going after a member of this kind of, quote, rebel band of, quote, the lefties in the way that they call them. That's exactly. No, I think there's an otherization of somebody like Ilhan Omar or somebody like, what was the other guy, the black guy that lost his seat, he was very angry. Oh, was it Corey? I can't think of his. He ran, I think, recently. He has a ballhead.
Starting point is 00:41:58 Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was out of... He was accused of ringing the fire alarm, that guy. Yes, that guy. Corey, I think, something. He got into this big back and forth with... And I'm saying he's angry, not because he's black, because he got to fight with one of the guys that was on,
Starting point is 00:42:12 like nearly in a fight with one of the guys. Yeah. And it was his fault. He ran up on... I think he ran up on Ted Cruz, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, well... I'm not... I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 00:42:22 Ted Cruz is an asshole. Ted Cruz is an asshole, but I don't want you being randomly pissed off. Yeah. And he's also a cuck. He let Trump accuse his father of killing JFK. Right. Right. He's like, you know, anyway.
Starting point is 00:42:37 Jerome Boatman. That's it. That's it. Yeah, Jerome Bowman. Abdul says, by the way, go ahead. I don't want, sorry. Well, I was taken out pretty quickly by Israel spending a huge amount of money to take him out. and the other woman who was, quote, part of the squad was also outspent ridiculously to be taken out.
Starting point is 00:42:55 And Democrats stood by and didn't say a word about this taking place, right? Despite the fact they have this kind of complete alliance to Israel. I'm saying they're doing the same thing to Ilhan Omar. Something is happening to one of the people they're being taken out based on, let's say, inordinate spending by one of their groups that they completely support. And they stand by and say nothing as a Republican take. No, it's a bad look. Comment from Abdul about our previous comment, Abdu Kid.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Good morning, guys. Thanks for the $5, by the way. I'm Gen X. We definitely had corporal punishment and school administrations and boards, bullying kids. Small towns also have bullies from family dynasties to contend with big fish, small pond. Sorry, you've got to keep moving. More to talk about. Main topic.
Starting point is 00:43:40 So ICE was chasing this dude in Houston. That's our main story today. You've probably seen the video. ICE claimed that he jumped in front of the car. I don't know, like, what would they say? That he weaponized his leg against the poor, innocent SUV. But then a surveillance camera showed the truth, which is he's hauling ass, and the ice guys chase him down, run up onto the sidewalk in order to hit him on purpose,
Starting point is 00:44:10 fucked up his leg. The local police in Houston are furious. They're investigating ICE, and they're thinking, about charging them. Apparently, ICE also destroyed evidence at the scene. They took off with the car when the Houston PD said, don't do that. We need to look at that car. They refused to cooperate. So the local police are pissed. Anyway, now, to add to the outlandishness of this, it turns out that the guy that ICE was actually chasing and claiming that this guy was died. Back in 2017, he was running away from, wait for it, ice at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Starting point is 00:44:52 He was climbing a cliff. They scared the shit out of him. He fell to his death. That guy was responsible, was wanted for a few various crimes that they now attributed to the guy whose leg they just fucked up. The guy whose leg they just fucked up actually has no criminal record. And just be clear. In America. The construction.
Starting point is 00:45:10 No, he's not. He's a Mexican national, also illegal. But he's a construction worker. with no criminal record whatsoever. He's been here. It's just, it's like, what a shit show. Yeah, this is a shit show. Again, I don't,
Starting point is 00:45:29 they should charge the ICE agents. Absolutely. They should charge him. Like, stop this thing of, because look, anywhere you're looking at it, if they're like, they're going to. Because the cops say,
Starting point is 00:45:41 hey, don't take away the van. That's evidence. And they say, screw it. You don't care. Don't do that. Yeah, we don't care. And it's like, destroying evidence. Yeah, we don't care. You can't touch us. That untouchability needs to be
Starting point is 00:45:53 touched. Yeah. Even if it's unsuccessful, right? If for no other reason as to send a message like, we're going to inconvenience you, we're going to subpoena you, we're going to, you know, we're going to cause you problems. Or just you're going to follow the law. Right? Like they're, because put us in context, right? They're going after somebody because they're saying this person is breaking the law by being in the country illegally as they break the law. And they're not allowed to run people over on purpose. And they lied about it as usual. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:25 They like, if there hadn't been survey, this is just like Rodney King. If there hadn't been surveillance footage, nobody would have ever known the truth. I mean, it's just the same shit. I feel like when the government lies and then they sit and then they get caught out like, oh, your narrative's been blown up by surveillance camera. at that point, like, it should just be like they should just, they should be all charged. The people they were after should be allowed to walk. This guy should be given.
Starting point is 00:46:55 The guy they ran over should just be handed a U.S. passport. You know, you know that movie, the Terminal, the Tom Hanks movie? It's based on a true story, right? This guy was caught between two terminals at the airport in Paris because, you know, basically there was a civil conflict in his his passport became invalid from his home country. And so he was trapped there. He was living in the airport for months, like, you know, bathing out of the, like, men's room. And ultimately, the president of France read about it.
Starting point is 00:47:29 And he was like, this is ridiculous. And this is so French. He's like, take me to the airport. He goes to the airport. He apologizes to the guy. He says, I am so sorry. Welcome to France. And hands him a French passport.
Starting point is 00:47:44 That's so cool. You are now a French citizen. That's so cool. Isn't that cool? Very cool. That's how this should be handled. Like, we ran, we're sorry we ran you down. You were living in the shadows.
Starting point is 00:47:56 We're sorry your legs fucked up. We know you probably will. You're never going to run in the Olympics again. But, you know, the good news is you're now a U.S. citizen. I mean, technically, he was here illegally. Yeah, he was here illegally. I hate to bring that up. No, it's true.
Starting point is 00:48:13 It's true. Like, they had to run. wrong guy. That's the law. Two wrongs do not make a right in this situation. You had the wrong guy. You wanted a dead guy. You didn't know. Also, how do you not know he was dead when, wait, you killed him? You killed. Like, that's not in your records that you killed a guy who was wanted. He died. You didn't like mark that checkmark on the Excel spreadsheet. What? I'm not saying two wrongs to make a right. I'm saying he. See, ICE is wild, right? Because it's not like a police. action. They could have went to the guy's house, gave him a thing to say basically, hey, come to so forth. They had no idea if the guy was going to run. He was living his life. He hadn't committed any crimes. He was effectively living in the United States. And he wasn't the guy they were looking for, right? And wasn't the guy that they were looking for. He literally could have knocked on his door and been like, hey, we're looking for Hernandez. I'm Rodriguez, man. I don't know any Hernandez.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Oh, really? Can you have some ID? Yeah, hold on. Yeah, here's my daughter. Here's here. Here's some ID. Oh, okay. Oh, you're here illegally. We'll be back for you later. Yeah. That's, that's got to done that. I just don't accept that they need to behave this way. And especially running people over, meaning whether the guy was here illegally or not is secondary to the point. It's an administrative crime, right? It's not even a misdemeanor. Yeah. It's literally got the seriousness of a parking ticket. A speeding ticket is more serious than that. Imagine the mentality of people behind a car and running a man over. I imagine, I imagine them going like, yeah, like they think they're a dukes of hazard, right?
Starting point is 00:49:51 That's what it seems like. It seems like these guys like Yahoo. Like, it doesn't seem like the cops at least have a certain formality about it. Like if you're watching it like some of the, um, oh, I'm sure the cops hate ice because it's like the cops are, you know, the cops are actual, you know, professionals. They're trained. You try to be for most of them. Yeah, I mean, a lot of them are assholes, but yeah. Yeah. But they at least give the veneer of professionality up until the point where they've beaten the shit. Well, they wear uniforms and shit.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Yeah. Yeah. And it would be frowned upon for a cop to run a man over with their car. I'm not saying they wouldn't do it. It's gauche. Yeah, it's frowned upon. They don't like doing it, right? And so the town cops looking at this are like, these people are out of control.
Starting point is 00:50:33 Like, they could have hit other people who were not here. legally. So meaning the town cops are like, this is fucking outrageous. You just ran a man down with a car and you lied about it. And ICE agents are like, we don't care. Yeah. Okay, that doesn't seem professional to me, right? That seems like something else. That's it. Two more stories to cover. I think we're going to get through them. Okay. Okay, I got to talk about this Dublin thing. So there's a conference called the special envoys and coordinators combating anti-Semitism conference that happens annually. This year, the conference was supposed to be in Dublin.
Starting point is 00:51:12 It's a SECCA, SECA for short. Anyway, the Irish are very, very pro-Palestine. They're very anti-Israel. They always have been, and that's especially true now. They're at the forefront of this. So the hotel took it upon themselves to, when they found out who was staying this block of 70 rooms, they're like, yeah, we're canceling your reservations. The hotel is not commenting to the press.
Starting point is 00:51:39 I'm of two minds here. I looked into this to find out if Seca had any ties to the state of Israel or to Zionism. They don't. This is literally just a conference on anti-Semitism. It is not like conflating anti-Semitism with anti-Zionism. It's a legit organization. So this appears to be like a high-profile example of a legitimately anti-Semitism. you know, an anti-Semitism thing that's being affected by an anti-anti-Zionism.
Starting point is 00:52:17 It's interesting. Yeah. I mean, look, the problem is that Israel runs around screaming to high heaven that they are the home of Jews. That's their thing, right? We're the home of Jews. If you're a Jewish person, you can come here and you steal somebody else's land. It will have a plot for you. You have the right to return, but the guys we kick out don't.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Right. They don't have rights to their own land. They have the misfortune of being born here, as opposed to us being in Poland or in the United States or somewhere else in Europe. But then they also make the argument that anything that it said about Zionism or the state of Israel is blood libel. Have you ever heard of him make this argument? It's like, all of this blood libel that you're saying. Every time. Every time.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Literally. Yep. Two days ago, Jamar, I posted on X that. that Zionism is the belief that you're entitled to you're to live on someone else's ancestral homeland. You saw that, right? As of this morning, there were over 68,000 views and over 1,000 responses to it, mostly, as you saw, from Zionist bots. And they said that.
Starting point is 00:53:32 They said that I was guilty of blood libel. I'm like, blood libel, for the record, right, is not that. Blood libel is this medieval slur against Jews that they like to eat babies, literally. And, you know, well, not Jewish babies, but Christian babies. Yeah. Okay, for the record, you know, they, no, they didn't. And the point is that, like, that was a slur. It was a notorious anti-Semitic slur.
Starting point is 00:53:58 So they're like, every time you criticize Israel, it's like, that's a blood libel. Like, no, it's not. Unless we're accusing you of eating babies, no, no, it's not. Like, you don't know what a blood libel is. You hear it all the time. Like on Pierce Morgan, the guy is like, oh, that's blood libel. Yeah, it doesn't matter what it is. That's blood liable.
Starting point is 00:54:18 It's like, okay, dude, for one, I don't know how much that's sticking now. There's that. And two, I ordered a medium coffee, but I got a small blood libel. Yeah, blood liable. The problem obviously is you've accused everybody of anti-Semitism to say, a degree that nobody fucking believes it right if you continuously call everything anti-semitism meaning every criticism of israel by the way criticism that are true hey you're starving the population oh that's anti-semitic that's blood liable no dude you're really doing that
Starting point is 00:54:50 If it's anti-Semitic, what you're literally saying is that starving people is Jewish and low. It's really not. Which is in other self anti-Semitic. I mean, even like walking through with IDF military uniforms in the statehouse and you're like, okay, dude, where are your priorities? The U.S. or Israel, Israel, Israel, Israel, Israel. Asshole, you're walking around in Israel's uniform. Don't wear a uniform for Croatia, right? like any other country.
Starting point is 00:55:20 You just don't. Yeah. Right. I guess my point is like criticisms, legit, honest guy, criticisms have gotten to the point where they don't want to accept so they consider to be anti-Semitical blood level. Okay, well, you lose credibility.
Starting point is 00:55:35 And that's going to affect other groups that may actually care about anti-Semitism in real terms. This is infinitely obvious that happened. And, you know, I don't have mixed mind of it. This is a direct result of Israel. and the way did they behave? Well, I mean, I feel like it's an injustice, but it's also kind of fair. I mean, it's kind of like, look, if, you know, if an anti-Semitism, it's only fair that in a way
Starting point is 00:55:59 an anti-Semitism conference gets caught in the crossfire, maybe they need to issue a statement and say, listen, we don't believe that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism, and then maybe they can get their hotel rooms back. Yeah. That's my proposal. Some delineation. But it's easy to make, it's easy to look at these things to think these things are all equal. If I'm the hotel, the hotel may not look into the group.
Starting point is 00:56:21 They may just see anti-Semitic stuff and they say, oh, this is nonsense. Mark Carney, our last and definitely least story. So Alberta is basically starting a, they have a non-binding referendum that could theoretically start the process toward a future separation vote, kind of like a Quebec Quad thing. Alberta has a lot of oil. It's basically like the Texas of Canada. He, 70% of Albertans do not want to leave Canada. So it's not likely to happen. But anyway, Mark Carney went to Alberta and he said, and he's like, listen, guys, the U.S.
Starting point is 00:57:04 wants to own us and they're trying to break us. And that's what this is part of. I just wanted to take note of the fact that we now live in a world where Canada hates us and is scared of us. that's due to Donald Trump. That's fucking insane. Well, I don't know if that's for domestic consumption, though. It's kind of like the United States saying the Russians are interfering in our elections. I mean, it may be true that the U.S. is perfectly fine with Canada breaking up because it's easier to manipulate independent states
Starting point is 00:57:33 as opposed to this country's kind of one large conglomerate country. So maybe, like the European Union, for example, or like the Europe wants to do with Russia. They want to break Russia up into smaller locations so they can have more. control over these various regions because each one will have their own individual thing, like the Soviet Union, for example, in which case the U.S. immediately starts gobbling up all of these countries in order to put that much more pressure on Russia. It's possible, I suppose, but Mark Carney could also just be doing this for political consumption. Totally. But look, there would be no political, there would be no domestic political consumption
Starting point is 00:58:10 for this to feed into, if not for Donald Trump picking a fight with our northern neighbor for no reason whatsoever. I mean, the reason was issues of power. He did it because he thought he could get away with it. I think it's that simple. Yeah. But also, like, what an asshole. Again, for the Canadians, I'm sorry, I apologize. I'm saying, you have my mom. That's right. We don't, none of us, I've literally never heard anyone say, you know what, fuck those Canadians. Never. I've never heard. anyone say that ever i've never heard a bad one person say a bad word about canadians no we we like you guys it's our president who's who's deranged that Toronto is fantastic yeah yeah yeah ronto is fantastic okay well with that um that our weekend begins um Robbie's got uh
