Today we discuss:• There are major anxieties about interfere...nce in the 2026 midterm elections. Will the Trump administration use executive orders or declare a national emergency to sow confusion? Will there be federal agents at polls, ballot seizures, and restricted mail-in voting? Gerrymandering and eroded trust compound fears that results could be delegitimized or overridden. Investigative journalist Greg Palast joins Ted and Jamarl to tell us what fears are real.Greg Palast is an investigative journalist and author whose reporting for the BBC, Guardian, and Rolling Stone has exposed voter-roll purges, Crosscheck programs, and suppression tactics since Florida’s 2000 election. I'm like, okay. Are we being seen?
What's happening in this moment?
Well, you know, it's a slow comeback.
It's a slow comeback from the holiday weekend.
Thanks for tuning in.
It's Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.
This is D-Program with Jed Rall and Jamaral Thomas.
Good morning, Jamar.
Hope you had a nice weekend.
We have a lot to talk.
We have a lot to talk.
talk about today and not enough time to talk about it all. But at the top of the show,
joining us imminently is going to be Greg Pallist, the legendary investigative journalist
and expert on All Matters, election interference. He'll be coming on right after we sort of
set up and tee up the show. And once we see him and make sure everything's up and running,
thank you for supporting the show. Please continue to like, follow, and share. Please put your comments,
questions for Greg and for us in the live chat on YouTube or Rumble Rumble Rumble Ransom
and Super Chats get priority we're here Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Eastern time
Q&A show Monday to Wednesday Friday 12 noon. Let's see not okay Greg I think is ready to go but
I don't see him there. Okay whatever we will find out what's going on there.
We're about the stuff other than the we definitely are going to talk about
all the anxieties related to election interference of all shapes and sizes going into the midterm elections in two months with investigative journalist at Greg Palace.
But also a lot of news out of the Middle East, the Houthis came in strong against Saudi Arabia.
They sent fires at several oil refineries and other facilities in the southern section of Saudi Arabia.
More than 70 people wounded. Oil prices skyrocketing over $100.
a barrel this morning. The Ba'Al-Mandep Strait is now basically as controlled by the resistance forces
as the Strait of Ormuz is. The UK is starting to distance itself from Israel, and Israel's
feeling the pressure, and they're ordering the most radical settler outposts removed from the
West Bank, but that doesn't mean the overall demographics are going to change a lot. Election results
coming out of Germany, alternative for Deutschland, AFD.
swept the Saxony-Anholz state election.
And the Christian Democrats got destroyed.
They lost half their seats in state parliament.
AFD increased their number of parliamentarians from 23 to 39.
I see Greg there in the wings.
Greg, if you do, please turn on your little camera icon and we'll be good to go.
I'm going to go ahead and introduce Greg.
I see we can hear there.
Okay, there's Greg Pallis, my old friend.
Okay, so let me introduce Greg Pallis.
Greg Pallis is investigative journalist and author who is reporting for the BBC Guardian
and Rolling Stone magazine has exposed voter roll purges, cross-check programs, and suppression
tactics ever since Bush v. Gore in the Florida 2000 election.
His best-selling books, the best democracy money can buy, and billionaires and ballot bandits,
which I worked on, plus films like Vigilantes, Inc.
that's out now, document how officials and contractors
have disenfranchised millions of Americans,
especially voters of color.
Great Pallist, welcome to T Program,
and thanks for joining us. Good to see you again.
Okay, and I wanted to mention that we've just released this week,
Pallas Investigated Fund and Black Voters Matter,
NWACP, Atlanta, Rainbow Push, a new video video,
short video series called Jim Crow Reloaded.
And it's about the latest in vote suppression tactic.
It's not a full documentary.
It's going to be altogether nine four-minute pieces.
And hosted by Ed Ward of the Transformative Justice Coalition.
My self over.
There we go.
I can see my full hat now, or at least most of it.
And so that you can watch those films at save your vote.org.
Save your vote.org.
And it's the latest in vote suppression trickery.
And guess what?
They're going after voters of color.
In other words, blueish people.
And we have everything from everything from the new citizenship requirements to the Great Purge.
You want to watch these four-minute reels.
So go to Save Your Vote.org.
You can always go to Greg Pallis.com and link through.
We'll see you there.
We've got to spread the word around how to save your vote
because the new games are just absolutely unbelievable.
Greg, this is, I don't think I've ever seen an election
where Americans were more nervous about the not who's going to win
as much as whether the election is going to happen
or if it does happen whether the elections will be on.
honored or not than this election.
I don't know if you agree with me or not, but why do you, if you do, what's going on this
year that's different from previous years?
Calling off the election, that's crazy talk, Ted Raoul.
That's crazy talk.
Because what you don't understand, that's not how dictatorships work.
I was listening to Sarah Payne of the professor from the Naval War College.
And they said, do you think that America might end up as a fascist state?
Says, what do you think we have now?
Who do you think Trump is?
So the way that they work, they have elections.
They have elections.
See, if you call off elections in America, it destroys our self-confidence.
It's like burning the flag.
Now, what happens then you burn a flag?
Nothing.
But it's important.
Symbolically, they have to let you do the exercise of voting.
It's like going to the gym and doing two sit-ups and saying, I'm done.
So what you're going to have here instead is you're having a massive, as we're speaking,
you've had this massive, massive purge of the voter rolls.
My calculation, and for those who don't know, I actually used to have a job.
I was an economist and a statistician.
And going through the government files, the Election Assistance Commission, I was able to calculate
pretty accurately that 4.7 million people were wrongly removed from the voter rolls in 2024.
That's how Trump won.
You also have millions of votes, which are what they call spoiled or discounted.
Now, Ted Raul knows this because he did illustrate.
In fact, not only if you go get the best democracy money can buy the latest edition
or you get the billionaires and ballot ban, there's a comic book inside by the great Ted Raul.
So yeah.
So what they're doing is they're purging the voter rolls.
They're disqualifying ballots.
You know, people don't realize that.
that if you mail in your ballot, Trump's going after mail-in ballots, but one of the reasons is
so he can throw them out or not give them to you. According to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission,
about one in seven ballots that have mailed in or never counted. They're disqualified.
You put the wrong. You didn't, a postage two kills about 300,000.
Plus, their closing drop box. You have to understand that African Americans use mail-in voting
or they use the mail ballot for drop boxes or at the precinct or in early voting.
About 70% of black voters in swing states vote using a mail ballot or early voting.
So they want to kill off early voting.
They've done a good job.
Florida went, for example, how does that compare with non-black voters?
Oh, well, for example, in the case of Florida, when I went through what's called spoiled votes.
That is, you fill out your ballot and they disqualify.
You got to, like especially a mail-in ballot, you got to run.
wrong mark on it. See, people think that Elon Musk is sending spiders from outer space.
Forget all that computer crap. What they do, it's much simpler. It's good old-fashioned Jim Crow.
So you put it, you use a, uh, uh, the wrong color pen or you use you put a check mark instead
of fill in a bubble. That can disqualify your ballot. And it's not small. We lose.
we lose about 2 million mail-in ballots are simply disqualified often for middle initial.
When you ask about black and white, according to U.S. Civil Rights Commission, when they analyze the vote in Florida, for example,
the chance that your ballot will be disqualified is 900% higher if you're black than if you're white.
Let me explain that again.
You mail in your ballot.
Someone's looking at it decided whether it should be determined.
This is not a tenth of the vote.
in Florida it was one in seven ballots cast by black people were simply disqualified on technical grounds
and that's why by the way again I'm not all that crazy about you know people worry about
that we need paper ballots well guess what 49 states have paper ballots and Trump was elected
kind of but you had you also had to remove when we're looking at for example purges of voter
rules, the methods that they use, which will be explained, go to save your vote.org,
and watch a four-minute film.
For example, you talked about cross-check.
That's where they're bringing this back.
With the ACLU, we brought a lawsuit and ended this program where they would match names
in two states to see if Ted Rawls voting twice, you know, once in New York and once in
L.A.
And so then they're going to, if you commit that crime, they should put you in jail.
Instead, they take away your vote.
But see, here's the trick.
if you go to the Census Bureau, as I do, and get the stats, they'll tell you that 85 of the 100 most common last names in America.
Every single person in America is listed with the Census Bureau by last name.
85 of the 100 most common names are minority names.
So, for example, Jackson, my good late friend Jesse Jackson, you know how many times he's registered to vote?
In Georgia, they found that James Brown voted literally, they said he voted for.
five hundred thirty eight times james brown now you might say well james brown he is the hardest working
man in your business yes i mean he's going around voting again and again and so now you might
say well james brown is a common black name it's a common name james brown well not for republican
it's not a common name so they're taking out the james browns for supposedly voting twice they
uh the it's this my investigation of this stuff because i'm basically a finance and statistics i
It started when in Florida in 2000, when George Bush won the presidency by 537 votes.
That's it.
Not 537 electoral votes, 537 votes in the state of Florida.
After Florida, removed 58,000 black men from the voter rolls saying that they were ex-con felons who aren't allowed to vote.
Now, how many were actually ex-con felons not allowed to vote?
Exactly, zero!
But they were all guilty.
of voting while black.
And that's how Bush became president.
So there's nothing new, but now, listen, they've taken the spread, the, you know, it's old
clan tactics.
They're taking the, just that they've changed their white sheets for spreadsheets, and
they're very good at it.
So they will let you vote.
Don't worry about the election being called off.
It's already been called off.
That is, you're not going to get a real vote count.
And it's not about changing your vote in the computer with a, with a paper clip or
some type of weird virus code because we don't, people talk about the computers. We don't vote
on my computer anymore in America. Take a look. You get a paper ballot everywhere. And they use
computers to read them and then you can always check against the paper. I'm not worried about the
computers. I'm worried about the guys who are dancing through the voter rolls using computers.
That's the danger. Greg, let me ask you about the stories that we've been
Sorry, Jamal, do you want to...
Well, just real quick, the white cheats thing.
I accept that.
But I also distinctly remember when this was raised in Congress, when they were confirming the votes,
and you had black representatives pointing out exactly what you said,
that, you know, they've been a disenfranchised by millions in Florida.
And Al Gore was the one that gaveled each and every one of those people down.
Meaning, the Democrats didn't fight for it.
Like, they obviously knew what was taking.
taking place in Florida and they knew that the Republicans were effectively cheating in order
to steal the election for Bush. And the person who ostensibly was the head of the party
gavel down every person who came up to make the point of saying, we were cheated and disenfranchised
and not one vote in the Senate back them up in doing so. Well, yeah, one of the problems is
don't expect a political party, a political leader to save your vote. Remember that there's one political
party, Hezbo Shikkel, the party to cash. So if you expect, one thing we tell people at save
your vote.org, we are staunchly nonpartisan and nonprofit. Actually, I wish we were a
nonprofit. We're kind of lose a lot of money. But nonpartisan because we're not there to elect
one party or another. We're there to save your vote. And I think if you change the electorate,
you'll also change who's running the party. Remember that the current, uh,
Democrats and others who were in office got elected by the current voter rolls.
Last thing these guys want are voter rolls where everyone gets to vote.
Oh, my God.
That will change the parties radically if everyone gets to vote.
And so what we're doing now is just trying to help people understand the tricks that could take away your vote, your registration, mainly they go after registrations.
That's what people want to understand.
It's not about manipulating ballots.
It's mostly about manipulating registrations.
It's when I say manipulate, using these old Jim Crow laws that are still on the books to stop people from maintaining their registration.
So, for example, we had, my latest film is Vigilantes, which you can get for, go to great pallas.com.
You can download for free of YouTube.
Vigilantes, Inc.
America's
vote suppression
is America's
vote suppression
grifters.
Now, what are
these vigilantes doing?
We have laws on the books
in about 20 states
and this started in Florida
and moved to Texas
where it's now going to 20 states
where you as an individual
can say,
I am challenging
that person's right to vote.
I'm challenging their registration.
Now, the Klan used this
in 1946 to challenge.
almost every black man in Georgia.
And they elected a Klansman in 46
as governor of Georgia, Eugene Talmadge.
And it's back.
Now, at that time, the FBI tried to arrest Talmadge
for running this scheme of basically ethnic cleansing
of the voter rolls by these individual challenges.
This is not the government.
This is individual saying,
I don't think that Ted Raul should be allowed to vote.
Now, when the clan did it, they had thousands of clansmen literally filling out pieces of paper with Joe Black's name on it.
They sign it.
They say this is not a citizen and good standing, whatever.
Now they use computers.
You'll see at the beginning of the film, a woman, Pam Reardon, a Republican official in Southern Georgia, she challenged 32,000 people.
She literally mailed in a spreadsheet.
She said it was too expensive to simply print out the name she was challenging.
So she challenged 32,000 people in Georgia.
And then a guy named Alton, who is the vice chair of the Republican Party in southern Georgia.
He challenged 4,000 voters, most of them black soldiers out of Fort Benning, including Major's...
Wait, so can I do this to Republicans I don't like or anyone else I don't like?
Can any random person do this?
You know, every, every progressive host asked me that.
Well, why did the Democrats just challenge thousands?
One woman challenged 32,000 voters.
One guy challenged 4,000.
By the way, they all lost their vote, the 4,000 soldiers, including major,
except for Major Gamaliel Turner, because he said, where's my vote?
Where's my ballot?
I'm absentee.
The reason, by the way, these Fort Benning soldiers lost their vote is that they were assigned
to another base.
Like he's a 70, he was at the time, he was already 70 year old major Pentagon consultant.
And he was assigned to California.
And so he got him, you know, he asked for his mail-in ballot, which is understand why Bush, excuse me, Bush.
Bush in orange, in orange, Mr. Trump doesn't like mail in voting because who may vote by mail.
So it's these soldiers who don't exactly love him.
So he didn't get his ballot.
So he calls the Georgia County where he's in, which is Columbus, Georgia.
And he says, where's my ballot?
I said, oh, Mr. Turner, major Turner, but to them, he's just Mr. Turner, you've been challenged.
He says, what does that mean?
I've been challenged.
Well, someone put a challenge on your vote so we can't send you your ballot.
He said, well, what do I do about this?
They said, well, just come into the office and prove your citizen.
and you live in Georgia and we'll give you your ballot. He says, I'm in California. You're telling me to go
2,700 miles. All I have to do is prove I'm a citizen again. Now, one thing you should know about
Major Turner, you guessed it, he is African American. They picked on the wrong African American
because his father was the co-founded of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference with King
in Abernathy. So he flew 2,700 miles to get his ballot. And then he sued in federal courts.
court and lost. They said, well, your ballot counts, but these other soldiers, they didn't bother to come in.
They took away those black soldiers' ballots. That's how it's done. That's how it's done.
Well, you kind of alluded here to sort of peripherally to the Save America Act.
Two questions. Yes.
Why does, I mean, so when I looked into this, I didn't understand why Republicans wanted to pass the
Save America Act, considering that in many respects, it seems like it would impact Republican voters more,
like women who, more Republican women change their names to their husbands than Democratic women,
you know, and that would make it harder for them to vote, and so on. So what are they trying
to accomplish? And secondly, why don't, why is this Lick-Spittal Republican Congress not going
along and giving Trump this vote? Why are they not supporting it? Well, remember that it's
really close in this. First of all, they need 60 votes to beat a filibuster. That's one of their big
problems. And you do have people, like for example, Senator Murkowski, who is technically an
independent, but she sits in the Republican, in the Republican cesspool there. And, but she has a huge
American native constituency. The Alaskan natives are huge constituency. And they would be in real
trouble if you didn't have easy mail-in balloting i mean i i've worked for the chugatch natives i've been up in
the arctic for bbc television and i can tell you you got to have a mail-in ballot otherwise you got to get you got
to warm up your dogs in november for a run when you're voting you know it's not so so there's a lot of
uh politicians even the gop side whose own per special constituencies could be effective but when you talk about
things like, for example, the Save Act, we talk about women. There's nothing in Save Act that says
women can't vote. What it does say is that you have to prove your citizenship. In fact, go to
save your vote, and Ed will in four minutes explain the whole citizenship racket. And what they're
saying is, I have to prove your citizens. Well, if you're not a citizen, you shouldn't vote.
But we don't have non-citizens voting. I haven't been to a polling station yet where I see a spacecraft
craft come down, all these aliens voting.
I've never seen a moose come in from Canada to vote.
By the way, in places like Dakota, you don't have to register to vote, but there's no moose coming in.
There's no Mounties voting.
So what are they talking about?
So, yeah, you should be a citizen, but how do you prove it?
Driver's license, forget it.
Doesn't exist.
That's, you know, alien, a foreigner has to have a driver's license if they want to drive.
But not if they want to vote.
So driver's license doesn't work.
your military ID doesn't work because Chris Kobach, the Republican now Attorney General of Kansas,
blocked 30, some 36,000 voters from registering in Kansas because they didn't prove their citizenship,
meaning now how do you prove your citizenship?
You got to have a birth certificate that's original or original certified and not a copy.
And or you have to have a passport.
Now, who has passports?
I can tell you right now.
Two-thirds of black people don't have passports.
Half of Americans altogether don't have passports
because there's not a lot of homeboys
that go to the Swiss Alps for their vacation
so they don't need a passport.
Passports are proof of citizenship.
We don't have citizenship records in America,
so you have to prove it.
Now, you're mentioning the case of women.
69 million American women have taken on their husband's
name at marriage. And then they get divorced. They got, go ahead and prove you're a citizen. Not so
easy. It's back to the Nazis. Where, where's your papers game? So it's not that non-citizens are
voting. By the way, the Heritage Foundation, which wrote Project 2025, Hans von Spakovsky,
who wrote the whole section on alien voters, he claims, he claims six, well, no,
it's about 1.6 million aliens are voting in our elections.
1.6 million aliens.
So I asked him, I said, okay, give me six.
Since they're registered and you have their names, you said, we have the evidence.
Okay, give me the evidence for six.
I'm not asking for one million, just six.
He didn't give me one.
In Florida, they also try to remove citizens by removing people from the voter rolls
who are on the deportation list.
They said, well, if you've been deported, you shouldn't be swimming back from Salvador to vote in our elections.
Well, they got a whole lot of guys named Jose Garcia.
And that's who they removed from the voter rolls.
Of the hundred and some, I think it's about 178,000, I can double check that number.
178,000 people lost their vote or purge because some guy named Jose Garcia was removed.
They removed all the Jose Garcia's, Martinez's, et cetera.
they found one alien voter, one,
who by the way, happened to be a Republican voting Austrian.
But that was it.
But they didn't put those people back on.
A few thousand got back on,
but over 100,000 people lost their vote.
And you wonder why Florida went from blue to red?
Is it because Donald Trump moved back to Mara Lago?
No.
It's because they're removing everyone named Garcia.
And this is just the beginning,
the mass vigilante challenge.
The one I saved mass, in Georgia, 180,000 voters were challenged.
So to be clear here, this is all about, correct me if I'm wrong, like when you get rid of all the
Garcia's, obviously some of those Garcias are like Cuban exile right wingers, but in the aggregate,
you're going to inconvenience some Republican voters, but overall, it's just a numbers game and you're
just trying to get a net negative, you're just trying to net get rid of more Democrats than Republicans.
Right.
Right.
They're very sophisticated.
In other words, you'd already get an A in my statistics class because you understand that they play the numbers.
Yeah, of course they're going to pick up some Republicans in this game.
In fact, when I did my story of the purge of supposed ex-cons in Florida, overwhelmingly black,
by the, I'm not guessing because in Florida, they still had your race.
listed on your registration forms.
And so it said BLA.
So I wasn't guessing about who was removed.
Almost everyone, you know, overwhelmingly the number of people removed were African
Americans. Now, I had the case of one minister and we got his vote back.
He was an ex-con, but he was convicted in New York.
You can't lose your vote in Florida because of conviction in New York.
And so they let him vote.
And he voted for his close friend, Jeb Bush.
He was a registered repub.
You know what they said? They said, if we knew you're, they literally told about the voting
office. I can't make this up. They told the minister, if we knew you were a Republican, we'd have
let you vote the first time. Oh, man. They literally said that at the voting office. But yeah,
they played the numbers. They didn't just, you know, so they know that they're removing all these
black people. Yeah, there's a couple of Republican, African Americans. Sure, there are. But they
understand how the numbers work. And they understand it because they use that numbers. It's basically
a racial ethnic cleansing of the voter rolls done by these so-called legal means.
Oh, they're a potential non-citizen.
By the way, would someone tell me what a potential non-citizen is?
I don't know.
Potential non-citizen, potential double voter.
What do you mean potential double voter?
There's a double voter or not.
By the way, Chris Kobach, Trump's chief, the vote hunter in chief,
vote fraud hunter in chief, who is the Attorney General of Kansas.
called me up when I was actually working on this Rolling Stone story.
He told me, we're about to have a mass arrest of non-citizens.
I said, well, okay, send me their names.
In fact, let me come with you.
We'll arrest them.
He found his mass arrest turned out to be one voter,
one voter who had registered the day before he was taking his citizenship oath.
So he registered hours before he was a citizen.
And they said, because he'd already filled out the voting papers that he was an illegal alien voter,
and hasn't got to jail for five years.
The judge looked at that and said, welcome American citizen.
Sorry for this introduction to our democracy.
We can do better.
But he couldn't find any.
Greg, I got to ask you about, and then we'll take some questions.
And Jamarov, you have more questions.
But I got to ask you about Donald Trump and this super.
Court ruling, you know, this whole Supreme Court thing about the mail-in ballots and how
Trump is trying to federalize state and local elections. Can you just tell us exactly what's going
on there? Because it's very confusing. Yeah. What he's saying is he wants to stop mail-in voting
because that's how he lost in 2020. We had the largest mail-in vote in American history by
multiples because of COVID. And he realized that these ballots were coming in from African Americans
and others. And especially, by the way, people forget, in mail-in voting is not just mailing in
your ballot through the U.S. Post Office. One of the big ways that African-Americans vote is they get
mail-in ballots and they put them in drop boxes. Same with the Hispanic population and the American
native population, Arizona, New Mexico, and other Texas. And they drop them in drop boxes. Well,
what they did was.
So they're trying to stop you from getting your ballot in the first place.
And how do they do that?
They say you have to be on a citizenship list.
And by the way, I haven't heard even National Petroleum Radio or any of these guys say,
by the way, we don't have a citizenship list in America.
It doesn't exist.
So the idea that you have to be on the citizenship list, which doesn't exist.
So what they're doing is just like that phony Florida list and Chris Kobach's mask.
non-citizens, what they're doing is saying the post office can't send your ballot unless you're on
this non-existent citizenship list. Now, some of their people are getting ballots. Well, how are they?
If there's no list, they're creating the kind of Mickey Mouse list. And they're using,
they're using such things as people who have passports because that means you're a verified citizen.
So again, if you're creating lists out of those types of lists that they're Mickey Mouseing,
together and from, again, Department of Homeland Security, purging out so-called deportees named
Garcia, et cetera, the list is not going to include a hell of a lot of American citizens
because how do they create those roles? So what they do know who they are removing because they're
creating a list of voters they want. So if you're going to use passports as the measure of citizenship
to stop people from getting their ballots.
By the way, it doesn't stop them from voting.
It just stops them from getting their ballot in the mail,
which is close to the same thing.
So that's what the court is having to rule on,
which they didn't yet.
They simply made a technical ruling,
but they haven't reached the question of whether it is illegal
to stop people from getting their ballots.
I mean, you're literally stopping Americans from getting their ballots.
That's what this gang wants.
to do, but not every citizen.
And it's all about these fake ballots from mailed in by non-citizens.
Show me one.
The state of Georgia killed itself.
It literally went through every single physical ballot, mail-in ballot and drop box ballot,
return ballot.
They went through everyone from two to five times.
They couldn't find a, and remember every single ballot, like Trump says,
well, we need to have a barcode on a ballot.
Yeah, well, I think I have it here.
I won't go off camera to do this,
but I have my California mail-in ballot
has a barcode on it.
Every single mail-on ballot has a barcode.
Your vote is not, the fact that you voted is not secret.
I can get a list to find out whether I can find out Ted Raul voted.
I can't find out how you voted, but I can find out whether you voted.
And they couldn't, so every single ballot in Georgia,
every one, over a million ballots were accounted for
attached to a registered voter's name and no one went in and said someone voted for me or how come
I it was listed I voted and I haven't voted yet or I'm voting twice it doesn't happen so they're
talking about punishing millions of Americans for a crime they never committed and I would like
to remind you that in most states losing your vote means you've committed a felony crime and
been convicted and they're serving time well in America you get convicted and serve your time that is
lose your vote as if you're a felony criminal because you're voting while black or voting while
brown or the new things that they're worried about is voting while Asian Asian American populations
move from Republican to Democrat. And of course, and people discount often. I'm working out here.
This is from the great Osage artist Joe Don Brave. I'm working with the Osage native on a film
there. And boy, what it takes for an American native to vote, they close voting states.
in on native reservations like the Pasco Yaki have to drive 100 miles round trip if they want to vote in person
out of the res.
So this is why they're going after the mail-in vote.
So the court has not reached any decision yet about whether it's legal for Trump to say only these people on my list that I'm created can vote by mail.
And remember, we're talking about 40% of the United States.
to the American public. It's not a few people that, you know, can't make it to the polls. People
use mail-in-voting now regularly. But certain people, bluish people.
Jamarle, you get the last question? I mean, where do you think the Supreme Court is ultimately
going to fall on this? I mean, they've been putting all sorts of chaos into the voting just before
the election come about. In fact, they're still fighting it in court as mail-in ballots are being sent
out to people. I guess what does this ultimately means in the final analysis of how do you think
this is ultimately going to turn out election-wise? And for the matter. Because they don't have a
citizenship list. They don't have a method to do it. They put out a 95-page guide for each of your
postal workers. You've seen your postal workers. The guys going down street with their bags,
they're reading the 95 pages. Who can I give this? Okay. It's total madness chaos.
If I had a guess, I'm going to say that the Supreme Court is going to punt.
and not even say it's illegal, they're just going to say, as they've said in many cases,
it's just too close to an election to make a radical change in voting procedure.
I think that they're going to leave it open and they're going to create chaos.
Or if they let it go through, remember chaos is part of the game.
It's not that they're going to, it's not like they're going to tomorrow have, they don't have the citizenship list.
It's almost the election.
They've got to create it and somehow program this stuff.
It's impossible.
So you're going to have massive chaos.
And that's what they want to do.
They want to have the mail-in balloting so screwed up that your ballot never gets to you or it never gets back from you.
That's what they want.
And so I think the Supreme Court is going to punt and not allow this to go through, but the chaos will be there and all the rest of the Jim Crow tactics.
That's why you got to go to save your vote.
Now save my vote, save your vote.com and learn what you can do about this with this game.
but I think that they're going to punt on this whole question of the post office.
Now, if they do say that Trump hasn't broken the law,
you know, at that point, you can't even call it an election.
But they're doing everything that they can to make it possible.
And that's so I'm very concerned, Jamal, very concerned that even if the court says no,
at this moment shuts it down temporarily, that one thing that they will do is still allow the other games.
For example, Georgia has increased the number by law,
increased the number of mail in drop boxes
where you can just drop in your vote.
They're increased in every white county.
In every black county, they are reduced by 75%.
The way the law is written is just brilliant.
So in Atlanta, for example, where drop box,
where people get mail and ballots and put them in a drop box,
it's a huge way that people vote in Atlanta,
is that they are requiring one single drop box,
one drop box for 100,000 voters.
And that's the maximum you're allowed in Georgia.
So they've got to figure out,
even if Trump wins this case or loses this case,
even if Trump loses this case,
they're still going to make mail-in-balloting murderous.
Yeah.
Chaos is a latter.
Thank you so much for joining us.
Greg Pallist, investigative journalist.
Go check out,
Inc. And go to saveyourvote.org or dot com?
Or.
Or?
And thanks so much.
Greg, so good to see you next time.
I'll bring my hat so I'm not the odd man out.
Thanks, everyone.
Thanks, Greg.
I hope you're a citizen because I've been thinking of challenging you, Ted.
I just, you know, someone's got it.
Last time I checked, I'm actually sort of a double citizen.
But anyway, all right.
See you later.
We'll talk about that in the next show.
See, that's, I like that.
And you'd win the hair.
I would.
Grab the vote.
Peace out.
Bye.
Bye, guys.
I mean, by Greg.
Thank you so much.
All right.
So, Greg is awesome.
Let's get through.
I want to get through.
I want to definitely,
maybe blue,
Funk had like a very pertinent comment here.
And I really wanted to talk about what she had to say.
She said,
we're focusing on the minor lever here.
I like the guest, but the country needs to have a macro discussion.
In other words, like arguing if votes count, but not addressing gerrymandering or the electoral college,
and of course, obviously, the duopoly and all that stuff, right?
I mean, so yeah, I mean, it's kind of like we try here on, you know, we want to try to understand all aspects of politics.
It's electoral, non-electoral, two party, outside of two parties, how votes are counted,
how they're not counted, the systemic issues of when the votes are counted, why it doesn't matter
or may it does matter.
So this is like, you know, this is definitely, I could see for some people, they might be
a little frustrated saying like, well, who fucking cares because the Democrats and the Republicans
are two sides of the same.
That's all valid.
But I think, I think it's, this is not, ignoring how votes are manipulated.
is also not wise because that's an important part of the equation.
Yeah, Greg is fantastic.
I've spoken to Greg.
God, man, it was years ago.
But it was when he was covering, it was like the Bush election, Sanders election,
et cetera, et cetera, and he was kind of delving into the details.
I don't know if, I mean, obviously, if the black votes were counted in Florida,
Gore would have won that election.
But, you know, these are just liberal.
like meaning the black vote that maybe you deprived of
I don't think that would necessarily change
the Democratic Party in the way that Greg was talking about.
Like you're just putting in a bunch of
Hakeem Jeffrey liberals who are voting for the wars
and voting for the other nonsense.
It's like just because they're black
doesn't mean they're going to change the Democratic Party.
They are the Democratic Party.
Also, I'm going to disagree with Greg about the ladies.
You know, I mean, it's objectively true
that Republican women.
change their surnames more much more than and also the other thing is I didn't I wish I'd
asked Greg about this we could bring him back and ask him about this another time but you know the
passport issue a passport is your easiest form of citizenship proof you know if you
have one you probably know where it is unlike your birth certificate you probably
have it handy and you know it's assuming that your name on your passport matches well
your voter for your voter registration, which it probably does, that's pretty seamless.
You bring that, you're probably pretty good.
Far more Democrats than Republicans proportionally have passports.
So it's kind of like, again, there's the intent of like the Save America Act,
which is obviously to suppress the Democratic vote, but there's intent, but then there's the effect.
Like sort of like you can end up as a party making a stupid tactical decision.
you're trying to suppress the other parties vote.
But you fuck up.
In Bush v. Gore, you know, the Gore campaign sued Bush
because they wanted to recount only in majority Democratic counties in Florida.
And the Supreme Court used that to say, oh, well, you know, under the Equal Protection Clause,
you'd be leaving out the Republican counties.
But actually, it was a really foolish decision because if there's undercounts of Democrats,
you'd be more likely to find them in Republican-controlled counties
where they're likely to undercount the Democrats, right?
So the point is that it's very complicated.
And we only have 17 minutes left,
but do you have anything else you want to talk about before we move on?
I mean, not really.
I just, if Democrats aren't going to defend their voters,
then what's the point in voter for them?
I mean, like, it's not to make the argument that this concentration
of conversations about black voters
but this is purely about just saving votes in general.
Okay, I don't necessarily buy, but whatever.
From a standpoint of this idea that gore
gaveled down people who are ostensibly
trying to fight for gore.
And let's be honest, they weren't just fighting for Gore.
They were fighting for their own voters.
Meaning they were being disenfranchised
of something that is supposed to be part of possibly being a citizen
of the United States as if they weren't citizens.
And the party that is ostensibly supposed to fight for that,
didn't give a shit.
That's not trivial.
That should matter.
Like that should be something that burns in people when they're looking at.
Okay, so wait a minute.
These guys are supposed to be representative.
They're supposed to be not representative.
They're supposed to be my voice in a political space.
And when it came down to it, they didn't care.
That matters.
That's not insignificant.
You're talking about millions of people who are fundamentally disenfranchised
as if they weren't real Americans.
okay that should that should that should matter yeah no sure and yeah no for sure there's one
other thing I think he missed out on I mean he can say he's nonpartisan the dude's obviously
I mean I mean he's a liberal hack let's just call him what he is there's nothing wrong
that he's not a hack yeah well damn good work I just well I well listen I don't know the dude
this is the first time I ever saw him but don't talk about bluish people and stuff while
ignoring the fact that Trump won a record number of black voters,
a record number of Hispanic voters, and why?
It's because he took the time if you speak to them.
Whereas the Democrats were in Kamala Harris,
who ran on putting black men in prison and then chided them for not voting for her.
So that's a little bit of a little bit of a disconnect there.
I don't think that's particularly honest.
The bigger issue is not so much that the Democrats aren't fighting for,
aren't fighting for ballot access.
There are bigger issues that Democrats are not fighting for the issues that they're
voters care about. That's the bigger issue. And so if you want to, if you really want to know why
minority voters are not telling you out to vote Democratic, maybe it's because they're tired of
the Democrats lying to them all the time and tell them we're going to fight for the issues that
you care about and then they never show up. And then you get this orange guy. He says, I'm going to bring
jobs back. I'm going to all these things. It's all, it's all a lie. But at least he made the effort
to actually lie to the American people this one time, whereas the Democrats never do.
So, I mean, the Democrats need to really...
Oh, come on, that's unfair.
The Democrats had all sorts of lies.
I mean, come on.
But am I making sense?
Do you understand what is what I'm saying?
It's not that it's...
Both parties play this game.
They both do gerrymandering.
They do all these shenanigans behind the scenes.
And talking about...
And Greg, by the way, in other contexts,
often talks about how Democrats,
the shit that Democrats pull, too.
And especially do you understand.
Maybe, like I said, this is the first I've ever saw him.
So maybe the word hack is too strong, but he's definitely incorrect.
Way too strong.
Way too strong.
Fair enough.
Then I would.
It's just, you know, then I retract the hack.
He's been doing yeoman's work for decades.
And by the way, also, I was just going to say, full disclosure.
I mean, Greg was also instrumental in my lawsuit against the LA Times too.
So he was, I did like his, I did like his, a real comrade there.
I like to have those politics suck.
As the two hatless people here, Robbie, I feel you.
Okay, so, and I do want to also make a shout out to a brand new subscriber, Carla Pantoja, 8100, became a channel member here on YouTube.
Thanks for the show.
Look forward to it every morning.
Oh, very cool.
As I know I do.
Okay, we've got to talk about.
So we have so much to talk about.
All right, Middle East.
Hooties are kicking ass and taking names.
They drone attacked the shit out of Saudi Aramco oil refineries in southern Saudi Arabia.
Oil prices are way.
Iran has just announced a expanded exclusion zone beyond just their part of the Strait of Hormuz.
But basically, anything in and around, if they think anyone's trying to run the blockade,
they're going to sort of say, okay, well, you know, you open yourselves up to being fired upon by our forces.
You know, things are heating up, this situation, everybody who is objective plainly can see that Donald Trump has painted himself into a corner.
And the, I mean, and the thing is the hoodies are truly the wild card.
You know, just when you start to forget them, they do something like this.
Oh, I never forget them. I never forget them. They are doing God's work.
Like, I mean, for one, the war between Yemen and Saudi Arabian forces have been just carrying on kind of in the background where the Houthis, Ansar al-A, had bombed their positions and was running military campaigns against the positions of the Saudi forces.
So they've been moving on that front.
As you point out, they bombed the hell out of the Saudi oil fields where apparently Saudi Arabia is announcing that they've halt operations on some of those oil fields that were hit because, you know, they're burning in the sun.
Obviously, this is Iran's way of pressuring Saudi Arabia, right?
We're not going to hit you directly.
Fair enough.
We can have our talk.
Oh, the Houthis hit you?
Did they?
Aw.
That's nuts.
Right?
Is that going to bombing your ships?
Oh, you can't get oil out?
Oh, man.
That's rough.
That's just rough.
It gets that, right?
But this is the nonsense that the U.S. uses with Russia.
Oh, the Ukrainians are.
hitting the oil field, oh, we keep telling Zelensky not to do that.
And it's so obvious, but you wanted to be obvious, which is the point.
Right.
I don't want to say it, but I need you to know that I'm behind us.
It's that.
Right.
You get one side of the oil thing under pressure.
The Iranians point is we are using economic warfare against the United States to make it hurt.
And part of the allies of the U.S. is Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahra,
brain, et cetera. Hence, your bases are fair game for attacks, which is what they've been doing
over the weekend. They've been continuously hitting the bases ever since Donald Trump launched
the attack recently. They haven't stopped. The U.S. hasn't responded to the fact that Iran has
been hitting them for the last two nights. It's fascinating. And by the way, Trump has no
military solution. And so he just kind of links, which is weird. Like every so often there's a
bomb, there's an attack. Iran responds with overwhelming force. And it's like, okay, what
is the U.S. doing? Who knows? The U.S. doesn't know what to do, clearly. This is one of those
things where they wake up every morning and they meet in the situation room and they're like, hey,
how'd everyone sleep? Anyone got a good idea that they didn't have yesterday? And everyone's like,
maybe Jeff knows something. It's like, oh, Pete sure doesn't. And so they just sit around and
they're like, oh, maybe someone else will think. Because they know they're, so they just don't
do anything. They're just kicking the can. That's why, from the very beginning, and I think
you share this concern, I've always been afraid that at a certain point, a deeply frustrated
Donald Trump will lash out and nuke something, just because it literally, I mean, it would
solve the problem from his point of view and create a host of new ones, but it's the only thing
that's, it's the only game changer he has available to him. Thank God he hasn't available
himself of it yet, but. Yeah, the new thing is terrifying. I mean, because it's, it's, it's
unpredictable. Like, I mean, okay, you nuke Iran. Okay, what do you expect them to do? What do you,
what does Russian China do? What do you, like, meaning you have a lot of countries around the world.
And what are you now? Like, what are you? What is the U.S. now? You know, once you've done that.
I mean, even when you do that, it's just, I am of mind that people don't really change, their characters just revealed, if that makes sense.
Like, many, when they're responding to environmental circumstances, a little bit of code that's them as responding to those circumstances and revealing more of itself in a way that we may not have necessarily known about ourselves prior.
I think the same thing is true for the states.
If we get to the point where we're using a nuclear weapon against a non-nuclear power because we get frustrated because our conventional military, even though we're,
we spend a trillion dollars on that military going up to 1.5, couldn't do the job. That says something.
The catch is, what does it say? And how does everybody else respond to the U.S. doing that?
Because I don't think the response is just going to be, oh, well, the U.S. nuked Iran. I don't
think that's going to be the response. Maybe I'm wrong. I mean, but I think the response to the
world will be horrified by what the U.S. did. Oh, no, I'm sure that's true.
Tomorrow, let me ask you.
So you and I have talked about this.
You and I are both of the belief that, of the opinion that Israel is America's dog.
And there's a lot of people.
Robbie is one of them, but he is hardly alone who think the U.S. is Israel's dog.
We had some actions over the weekend that sort of send it to support you and I in this argument.
Robbie, feel free to come in and tell us how we're mistaken.
But the sort of more extremist settler outposts in the West Bank have been ordered, closed down by the IDF.
Obviously, what's happened here is that there's been so much international coverage of these Palestinian houses being laid under siege,
the NBC news crew being beaten up by Israeli Jewish terrorists.
And so the West Bank has gotten too hot.
Even my Kukabe, Zionist pig that he is, has had to issue some declamations.
I would say this is in the Israel is America's dog category in that they back down when we make them.
You think the leash has been pulled?
I think the leash was pulled.
It's not.
Is it a big deal?
No, but there's some symbolic resonance there.
When they undo those settlements, that's.
when I'll believe it. I don't believe that this is going to come about. Yeah. Well, yeah, it's
it's still interesting. This is for public consumption for us. Now, what's going to happen is to
Jayce's point, disable, tear down the settlements, and more importantly, put those Jews in jail
who did these things. Then I would say that the United States members that it has a leash
and that Israel has a collar. That hasn't happened. What this is, this is a, hey, you go take a
go take a weekend trip to Tel Aviv, go to your favorite bar, maybe go to the beach,
and then go back in like two weeks.
That's what this is.
This is a joke.
I wouldn't want those people in Tel Aviv.
If I'm being honest.
If I wasn't in Yahoo, I wouldn't even want those people in Tel Aviv.
Those people are worse.
Well, of course.
Yeah, no, they're dangerous.
Yeah.
Then pick the settlement of your choice if they're too radical for Tel Aviv.
Maybe you can send them now to Jerusalem.
They spit on churches and beat up nuns.
I mean, it's a target-rich environment.
if you're a Jewish supremacist.
So, I mean, go wherever you choose.
But that's the point, though.
By the way, we're going to have the author of this new book,
Anti-Zionism, A Jewish History, in a couple of weeks.
I'm really looking forward to that.
That'll be fine.
Who's writing a book?
He wrote a book.
He just came out called Anti-Zionism, A Jewish History.
And it's about Jewish opposition to Zionism from the very beginning.
It's very interesting.
super cool.
You've spoken to, oh, what is his name?
What is his name?
He's a rabbi.
Rabbi.
Oh, I know you've known the guy.
Shapiro.
Is it Rabbi Shapiro?
I think it's Rabbi Shapiro.
Who makes the same argument that Zionism hates Judaism.
Yeah, Zionism is secular.
Zionism is about viewing Judaism not as a religion,
but viewing it as a superior race.
Yeah, it's very weird.
Yeah, it's, and it's like, it really is anti, like, it's, it's anti-Torra.
It's anti-Zionism is very about turning Jews into a complete, it's actually flipping Judaism on its head and turning it into something that's not a religion anymore.
Agreed.
Which is, of course, bizarre.
It's very bizarre.
So, so we got, we got four minutes left.
We got to talk about AFD, alternative for Deutschland.
There's 13 states in Germany.
One of them is called Saxony and Holt, and AFD swept those elections.
Big deal.
It's a landslide.
The Christian Democrats who've been around since the Cold War, the Chancellor is Frederick Mers.
He's in deep shit.
They're in deep shit.
Everyone can see, I mean, basically France and Germany could well by next year.
they could well and both have far right-wing governments.
The two founding members of the European Union
could end up, you know, with Marine Le Pen and AFD dude.
This is a seismic shift in Western European politics.
And expect it.
Look, I could tell you, when the radio station sent me to cover
the European elections,
my ex at the time we were complicated.
Yeah, at the time we were complicated.
But she was nice enough to take me to the polling locations
and talk to the people who were at the different polling locations.
You have people who were liberals.
You have people who are more conservatives.
And it was very clear that the conservatives was going to win it.
Right?
Like it was very clear that people were like,
look, man, we're sick of gas prices,
we're sick of not the job situation,
we're losing companies and blah, blah, blah.
meaning they had a clear understanding.
We don't like the immigration issue.
We think the immigrants are bringing in crime, et cetera.
And you talk to the liberals and they're like, well, those people are just racist.
It's like whatever you think they are, they're hitting a put something real
that you guys are just fundamentally ignoring under this idea that everybody's just racist,
everybody is, you know, hate immigrants.
That wasn't really the case.
And I think this is what we're seeing.
We're seeing the combination of all of that stuff play out in German politics.
Four Volkswagen businesses just shut down over the last.
last week in Germany.
Okay, what does Merritt? I have to say about that.
Nothing.
The AFD is talking to it.
Hey, why are we spending this much money?
Why are we fighting the Russians?
Why are we doing so and so?
Yeah, it's a big deal.
It's a big deal.
I mean, so the brief against the AFD from the liberals
is that they are sanitizing Nazism and World War II,
and they're trying to make it just another chapter in German history
as opposed to sort of the original sin.
We have a minute left.
J.T., you said you would consider voting for the AFD if you were German.
If I was German, yeah, I would have voted for the AFD.
I mean, what is the Liberal Party offering me?
The AFD is talking about my wallet.
It's talking about businesses in Germany, folding up and going belly up.
And I don't entirely buy the scaremongering that these guys are bringing in the renewal of the Nazis
when the current German government is putting in millions,
if that billions of dollars into Israel,
the settler program in general,
or for that matter, supporting the Israeli government
and back in Nazis, literal in Ukraine.
I mean, for God's sake, there were German tanks
with Nazis insignias rolling through Kyrrisc.
Put it in context.
And it's like, hey, the AFD is bringing back to the Nazis.
Okay, sure they are.
Yeah, that's my argument.
Which party is actually supporting them and arming them?
Which one is funding them?
them, which one has given them material support in an undeclared war.
It's not, it's not the Germans who think that maybe the German people deserve a country of their own.
I mean, maybe that's the right to.
You can always vote.
You can always vote if you're German, you can always vote communist or socialist.
But with that, we're out of time.
We'll be back tomorrow at 9 a.m. Eastern time.
Thanks, everybody.
Thanks, Robbie.
Thanks, thanks, tomorrow.
Please stay tuned for TMI coming up right now with Manila and yours truly.
Thanks.
Thanks. See you later. Bye.
