DeProgram with John Kiriakou and Ted Rall - Trump Threatens to Nuke Iran | DeProgram with Ted Rall and Jamarl Thomas
Episode Date: September 23, 2026Conflict reporter/writer/cartoonist Ted Rall and political analyst Jamarl Thomas deprogram you from mainstream media every weekday at 9 AM ET. This week, “Deprogram” expands into two hours Monday,... Wednesday, and Friday!Today we discuss:• The podium of the United Nations was an unusual setting for the leader of a global superpower to threaten to “annihilate the Islamic republic” of Iran or to declare that, in another conflict, “to the victor belong the spoils.” Yet that was exactly what Trump did. Meanwhile, U.S. officials met for three hours with the Iranian delegation to the United Nations General Assembly.• The ICE officer who shot a Venezuelan man in Austin over the weekend is a recruit who was issued a body camera but was not using it during the incident. Wilber Garcés Pérez, 28, a DoorDash delivery driver, was shot after ICE officers attempted to make a traffic stop on Sunday. Officers were in an unmarked black SUV, and Garcés said at a news conference he did not know they were law enforcement. His attorney said ICE sideswiped his car and struck Garcés again as he attempted to make a U-turn to find a place to pull over. Video captured by a bystander shows an officer exiting the SUV and approaching Garcés’s vehicle before shots are fired.• The Trump administration has ejected more than 750,000 enrollees from Affordable Care Act insurance marketplaces, claiming that many were receiving premium subsidies they did not qualify for and that some were not real people. JD Vance estimated that removing the targeted enrollees would save the government $2.2 billion. Obamacare enrollment has already declined significantly this year, as the cost of the plans has risen, a potential political risk for Republicans.• The second hour of the show will continue the news and analysis with a focus on your questions and comments.MERCHANDISE: DeProgram.MySpreadShop.comLIVE ON YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/@DeProgramShowLIVE ON RUMBLE: https://rumble.com/c/DeProgramShowhttps://x.com/tedrallhttps://x.com/JamarlThomas#tedrall #jamarlthomas #news #politics

Good morning. This is Deep Program with Ted Raul and Jamar Thomas. Today, we will be talking about the president's insane speech at the United Nations in which he threatened to annihilate Iran. We'll be talking about the ICE officer who shot a Venezuelan guy in Austin over the weekend, but mysteriously decided to turn off his body camera. And this was after he hit the dude with his unmarked car. Shockingly, the guy didn't know he was an ICE officer. The Trump administration is kicking.
taking 750,000 Americans off their Obamacare, so they will have no health care going into the midterm elections.
And this is the two-hour show because it's Wednesday. We go 9 to 11 Eastern time. Thanks for joining us.
Emphasis on your questions and comments in the second hour of the show. Good morning, Jamar. How are you?
I'm doing okay. Long time we'll see. How you do?
You have 26 minutes, I think. I know, right?
I was on, I had the pleasure to be a guest on your show.
Always fun.
It's funny because it's just a, it's a different dynamic.
Yeah, I got to be honest, typically the show covers foreign policy.
But when Donald Trump is given speeches and stuff like that, it immediately feeds into the news cycle.
So it kind of just works.
And your historical context is just fantastic.
Oh, thank you.
Like you're going to be like, yeah, back in 1922 president so-and-so did this, this, this,
and I'm just sitting there like, wow.
I don't think I remember that.
It's so much like Teabodome.
Yeah, I'm hurt, J-T.
I have never once been a guest on your show.
I am so hurt.
I'm hurt to my soul.
Listen, I made me like a cling on in many ways.
But I do have tearducks.
And there are times I cry myself to sleep.
Jay-T-S-T-S-E-T-S-E-T-I-T-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I.
I think you might be light.
That might be Sinali lighting right now.
Light-S-M-L-I-D.
Oh, did you all see the shirt that trip made?
No, I'm seeing it.
Take a look at the chat real quick.
Okay.
Well, okay.
Kind of hard you're all.
Oh, there it is.
Okay.
You're all right.
Well, okay.
Oh, yeah.
You're a software engineer, JT.
You can do this.
$29.
$29.
All right.
What is the ice?
We'll show it to the fans.
Is it up on the, is it up on the,
Yeah, he says the shirt is live on the website.
All right, let me go ahead and just remind everyone that we do sell merch here.
So if you want official, we're doing it.
Do I still have the merch thing here?
Where is that?
Is that ice agent deporting a cow?
Is that what I'm looking at?
Yes, yes, yes.
Oh, there it is.
Yeah, okay.
We have so many banners here.
The merch site is deprogram.
My Spreadshop.com.
I'm not a fan of.
word spread shop i don't know how drunk you would have to be when you're starting your business to
start it out to be like i know we'll call it spread shop because all the good you are also taken
oh spread shop like my spread i bet all the good the good names were taken i know that i know how
that goes um okay so guys if you have questions comments whatever um the second hour is especially
the place to send those but hell don't wait um we'll take them any time uh rumble round
and the super chats on YouTube are especially appreciated.
Just to remind everyone, we did, there was really kind of not really confusion here.
But on YouTube, you can subscribe to the show and support us for $5 a month.
For $10, you get thanked in the outro.
You probably notice that if you stuck around until the end of the show.
And for $20 a month, you get access to exclusive content, including but not limited to a call-in chat.
And I think I'm probably going to start.
For people who do it for more than, say, six months in a row,
I'll throw in my next book for free, signed, mailed anywhere in the United States.
It's a cartoon collection talking about it's called No More Mr. Nice Guy.
It's about cartoons about empire, foreign policy, imperialism, exceptionalism,
and other U.S. bullshit.
Very cool.
So I'm looking forward to that.
The book's almost done.
I'm putting it together now.
So, all right, where shall we start?
Shall we start with the UN speech
by the glorious president of the United States?
I feel like that is the obvious place to begin, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, you want me to start?
Oh, yeah.
You've been up for two hours, yeah.
Donald Trump goes to the United Nations.
All of the other world leaders are giving their speeches.
He meets Xi Jinping tomorrow.
But he gives his speech.
And this is America.
trumpet it to the world, right?
And it is utterly deranged.
Like, meaning Trump has given deranged speeches before,
but this is a level of derange that is breathtaking.
Donald Trump threatened, well, for one,
changing super AI to super intelligence,
as if the rest of the world is going to be like,
oh, wait, Donald's going to take things.
I need to, you know, super intelligent.
Nobody is going to use that term ever, right?
No.
Plus, to me, SSI is always going to be Sports Illustrated.
Exactly.
Yes, the swimsuit edition, ideally.
Ideally, the only issue I would ever be tempted to pick up, but yeah.
Exactly, but somebody picked it up.
But now the speech was utterly deranged.
Donald Trump threatened to annihilate Iran, meaning every last man, woman, and child in Iran,
in what is really being called a nuclear war or nuclear weapon threat.
He even made the point of saying, do I drive them into hell with no hope of their future?
something. It was an utterly deranged speech. And some people even make the point of saying it broke
UN guidelines or it broke UN rules in regards to the way the speeches because you can't necessarily sit on the UN and
make threats against other nations. Basically, I'm going to nuclear. I'm going to nuke you
to other nations. Now, it was an utterly outrageous speech. And I think you point on something that I
think is really interesting. Trump has done this so many times it becomes a boy who cried wolf.
Okay, he threatens the nuke them every other week.
He's been at war.
He's losing this war.
Everybody on the world stage knows he's losing this war and does that feed into this
kind of amplified rhetoric that is coming out of him because he knows he is completely
implanted to do anything about the fact that Iran's.
I mean, to put a fine point on it, on your point, at the very exact time that he's giving
that speech, U.S. representatives had requested and were receiving a three-hour meeting
with their Iranian counterparts on the sidelines of the same UN meeting, right?
To try to, you know, ask what Iran's current terms are to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
And they told them. They were very clear.
Move your military at like all war stop.
Basically, it's the MOU.
They haven't necessarily deviated from the MOU.
All war stop.
We want recompense, meaning we want our frozen assets back.
We want the U.S. military stop.
We want the U.S. out of the Middle East, too.
And we want the U.S. out of the Middle East.
Yep.
By the way, as an American, I think it would be good for America if we were out of the Middle East.
You know what's crazy?
I mean, the craziest thing about this, as a former Trump supporter, one of the things I support him on is that he promised, he said, I'm the one who can keep you out of nuclear war.
I'm the one who can keep you out of World War III.
I'm the one who can make peace.
We can kill the deep state.
We can do all these things.
And now it's just like Hillary Clinton is in the Oval Office.
Only she looks worse.
And I don't know.
I don't understand.
I mean, and listen, the man should have been, he should be impeached on this alone.
By the Republicans.
Yes.
And arrested.
Agreed.
I mean, you know, you cannot just threaten death on 90 million people.
men, women, children.
And meanwhile, you have these so-called Christian leaders who are up there just clapping like seals.
As the president of the only country in the world that's ever used nuclear weapons.
Yep.
And has its second largest arsenal.
He should be in prison this morning.
He should wake up in prison this morning.
And I'm disgusted with this.
This is why I'm not a Republican anymore.
They disgust me to know it.
Yeah, they watch it and have nothing to say.
The president is threatening an annihilation of another kind.
And what's wild about it?
The media is so wild about this.
Like the level of hypocrisy that is built into the media, they will,
how do you run the speech without, meaning how does this speech happen without every media organization
on the same page saying the president needs to be taken out of office?
He's lost his mind.
This is not what America is.
You would think that they would at least keep up the pretense that this is not what
America does. I mean, Katja Kalas is over there giving a lecture to foreign minister
Aragochi as Trump is on stage making the speech about annihilating an entire population.
It's like, okay, don't talk to me. You guys gave up Denmark. I mean, you guys gave up Greenland.
I don't want to hear anything from you. You're powerless in the situation. And your hypocrisy
is a stench that is just. Yeah, no, it's it's putrid. And you know, I mean, the thing is,
there's there's not you know the establishment just doesn't know what to do about Donald Trump right I mean
editorial I mean you know I mean editorial I can just imagine the editorial board of the New York Times meeting
it's like you know that was a crazy speech like yeah oh should we say anything I don't know I mean
we've done it before nobody really cared should we do it again like I mean we can but it'll just
make it'll be just another impotent statement right that's what they'll be saying they're not wrong
you know, Republicans in Congress are like, come on, we can't come out against our own president
as we go into the midterms, although actually it might strengthen them.
It would be better for them to do for them. Yeah, from a real politic point of view,
you know, this, look, you know what this is, honestly, there's a remedy here. It's the 25th Amendment.
This is where, and this 25th Amendment from a Republican point of view, solves a lot of issues.
I mean, I can imagine the campaign ads.
I mean, it's a little late in the game, and they should have done this earlier.
But imagine if today, J.D. Vance said after, you know, with after difficult consideration and thoughts and prayers and blah, blah, blah, I've decided to invoke the 25th Amendment and have received a majority vote from the United States Cabinet to temporarily, because that's the language of the amendment, remove the president from as acting president.
I will be assuming the role as acting president while we figure out what to do about Donald Trump.
We all saw that speech.
The United States has a special responsibility to the rest of the world to be sober and calm and rational.
And even though we continue our conflict against Iran, there are certain lines that can't be crossed.
And President Trump leapt over that, not for the first time.
I think it's like, and here.
Here's the ad that I imagine the Republican National Committee running.
It's like for four years, they show like the images of dottering Joe Biden.
The Democratic Party covered up the cognitive inabilities of Joe Biden that forced him to
withdraw from the race just two years ago.
Republican Party isn't like that.
We take out our own trash.
And even when it hurts us, even when it's difficult for us, you know, we don't, you know,
we know it might cost us if you're just a few years.
seats in the midterm elections, but that's okay because when for the GOP, the USA comes first.
That's a, I mean, that's effective, right? I mean, as a as a as a as a as a as a as a
lefty, I'd be like, whoa, that's good. That would destroy the Republican Party. You think that would
literally destroy the Republican Party. Look, I agree with it. They should do it because it's in the
best interest of America for them to do it. But man and bring in Robbie. Where's Robbie?
Because I want to get his take on this.
Robert's West.
The reason why I said this was destroy the Republican Party is because you have a good 20%.
It's kind of like the Sanders thing.
When the Democratic Party broke with Sanders, you got tens of millions of people who said,
at that party.
Me being one of them, by the way.
And a lot of people who I was doing the YouTube videos and everything else with were on the same page at that party.
I don't want anything to do with it.
You would never get my vote.
I will hate you forever, et cetera.
The end.
I think you'll get to something similar to that for Trump.
I mean, keep in mind, there's a good 20% of the population where Donald Trump could murder somebody in broad daylight and they would act as if, well, I mean, they had it coming.
They must have done something.
Or they must do something in the future.
Yeah.
I guess my point is, and I want Robbie sick on this, would this create a split of the 10, 15% that would do anything that Trump tells them to do and believe anything that Trump tells them versus the other Republican Party, which would be enough to functionally destroy.
the Republican Party from ever getting elected in major office.
Well, I'm the split already exists.
I know people who don't know like,
I produce Jeff Dornick stuff in addition to this show in TMI.
So he has a lot of these Republican guests on.
It's like, yeah, Trump is bad.
Yeah, Trump has broke all this promises.
Yeah, Trump is a liar.
But Republican come November.
And sometimes what Jeff will do is that he'll let me pop on like y'all do here.
And I challenge these people.
is that why would I vote for a hypocritical Republican,
but I can vote for a Democrat and get the real thing?
I mean, seriously, I mean, what's...
As you know, Democrats have often had their own version of that same exact comment.
Oh, yeah, no, I get that.
But these people know what they do is that they play team politics.
So then I'd like to just throw that hypocrisy card.
I mean, we hit $40 trillion under a Republican Congress and a Republican president,
but yet you say you're fiscally responsible, and yet here we are.
So why would I support a hypocrite party?
At the same time that Trump is promising to spend $1.5 trillion if the GOP maintains control of Congress.
Like this last guy that this last guy that this lady, she's like, oh, a libertarian.
She's talking about how the Trump is a restraining force.
It's a restraining on what?
So he has started a restraining force saying that she is a Democrat, I assume she means.
Exactly.
But then the point that...
What, against the Democrats and their crazy Zionism? Oh, wait.
Yeah, of course.
So then what I pointed out is just like, no, under a Republican administration, we killed over a million Iraqis with sanctions.
Trump started and lost, by the way, a brand new war against Iran for the interests of a foreign country.
But yeah, you say that you want to make America great again?
So how do you square that peg?
It's like, what accountability should the Republican Party have and Trump and Trump specifically for what he has done?
Okay. So, Robbie, what do these, what do the, what do Jeff's guests say?
Well, the Democrats would be worse? I said, do you ask me to pick up, no, which one or the turn would I rather handle?
I said, it all sucks. How about I just walk away and just go play in Tucker Carlson sandbox and y'all can just get smashed?
Rightfully so. And so also this split you're sitting here on the right is also happening with the Democrat Party.
with the populace on the left hands on the left.
So what people like you, and I know Angie Wong doesn't watch this.
So who cares?
Basically, these people, they are like Angie Wong only dumber.
Ooh.
And so careful there about my former co-host.
No, this is.
Angie Wong is smart.
No, she's able to least make an argument.
She's also not so much.
She's also really cynical.
Oh, incredibly so.
I mean.
But the point that I'm trying to make is that both political parties did be.
I always say if Angie woke up one morning and there was a giant poster of Lenin on the wall across from her house and red red and yellow bunting all over the place and Maltseye tongue posters, you know, on, you know, hanging from the lamp post, she'd be out there with her hammer and sickle lapel pin.
and talking about how much she loves socialism.
Oh, that's funny.
Well, the point that I'm trying to make is that both political parties have betrayed the American people.
They both need to be replaced.
And why should I reward them with a vote?
We're doing the exact opposite of what they're putting in the office to do.
Agreed.
I would love to get a politician just once, just one, who looks at the United States and the American people the way they look at Israel or NATO or
their little war in Ukraine.
There are a few like that.
I think Marjorie Taylor Green is one of them.
She's out.
Right, right.
I think Bernie Sanders cares more about the US.
Bernie Sanders is a complete cook.
He was a speech talking about we need to work with the grassroots people in Russia
and over to overthrow Putin's violent regime who's murdered 500,000 people.
That's gay.
Literally, I've been doing that.
It's really good.
I got the clip.
I didn't even play it from my audience.
I was like, I'm so disgusted with Bernie Sanders.
That's dumb.
But, you know, it's just simple in terms of loving this country.
But anyway, all right, right.
But, yeah, your point is taken, Robbie.
All right, so let's keep, let's, so let's, let's digest here.
We know what should happen here, but we know what, what is going to happen, which is nothing.
Okay, so let's talk about the, sorry, go ahead.
Like, as you point out, they may put out impotent articles, but what needs to
to take place is Congress behaving like a Congress that cares about the
proceedings yeah they need I mean it's and it shouldn't be although I don't think we
have time for impeachment proceedings I mean as Scott Stantis always reminds me
one of the you know the the reason that the Watergate Nixon was very popular
and it took a about two years or a year and three quarters to build the case slowly
over time for the impeachment to the point where the whole country came on board including
people who had voted for Nixon and thought, you know, okay, yeah, he's got to go. We don't have a
year and a half. I mean, first of all, I mean, Donald Trump's going to be done in a year and a half
anyway. But I think events are moving too quickly. It's too terrifying to think of where, you know,
I mean, seriously, September 23rd, 2027, that idea scares me if this is still the president of the
United States, even with the Democratic Congress.
He can still wake up one morning like Martin Sheen in the dead zone and say the missiles
are flying, Alleluia, Alleluia, and there's nothing we can do.
I have a question for you.
This is something.
I woke up at 2 o'clock this morning.
I was just thinking about this.
I was like, this is a question to ask JT and Ted.
Could we be looking at shortages and civil unrest in cities because trucks and trains are no
longer moving because diesel is so unaffordable?
to ship stuff, could Trump then use that as a pretext to cancel the elections in November?
So, guys, I was driving, I drove out to my dad's, you know, birthday party last weekend.
And on the way back, I was driving through, obviously through Ohio and through Pennsylvania on my way back home.
I stopped for gas. Actually, I stopped a piss at a rest area. And there were tons of semis lined up along the road in a place that's not like an official
rest area. It's sort of just an intersection in the middle off off interstate 70 in a middle of like
cornfield. And while I was pissing, I was talking to another guy who was pissing, a truck driver.
And I said, oh, you guys just, do you guys spend the night here? And he goes, well, not really.
He goes, the price of diesel is now so high that our companies are kind of telling us to just sit
still and don't go anywhere and just hang tight because the cost of operating the truck exceeds
the profitability of running the merchandise and having it arrive on time. And I said,
is that true even accounting for the late fees and everything? He said, yeah. So he's like,
where the whole, he said the trucking system like nationally is starting to break down. And so
I'd be interested in getting some experts on, you know, intermodal transport.
and interstate trucking,
because it's a very, obviously,
that's how most goods in this country move.
But, and I don't know if that guy was full of shit,
but, you know, he didn't seem like it.
But I've read similar reports.
I was at the gas station here in Callisville,
and you've been here.
It's a small town, deep red.
I mean, it's Northwest Montana, for God's sake.
Count of nowhere.
A lot of cowboy hats.
And we have got.
No irony.
And really, like, seriously worn.
Like, yeah.
I mean it's even below ties a few of those well the thing is it's all ranching country here so so so what you guys if you get two minutes outside of town it's it's all ran and um all over the gas pumps there are pictures of trump saying i did this wow yeah i by the way i saw some stickers like that i took photos i think i put it in the chat of of those stickers on a gas pump in the same place in uh this is like uh Washington courthouse oh high
and it's kind of like off US 35 at the intersection of I-71.
They have all sorts of hillbilly gear that like, you know, my son loves me to pick up because he wears it ironically.
You know, like these colors don't run and that kind of shit.
And that is a, that's as red as it gets, right?
It's as red as the banner below the screen here.
And he and the stickers were all on the pump that said Trump did this.
Now, that's no big deal.
But they'd been there for a while and nobody had attempted to.
to pick them off.
To me, that said a lot.
They should put that everywhere.
At every gas station, they can find,
they should put Trump did this, Trump did this, Trump did this.
Here's the thing, though.
You know, gas in Richmond jumped up to $4.32.
And I remember I was in a car, and I think I said, God is good.
Something like that.
Just be just don't be driving a fucking camper or something.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, the reason why I say that is, it's like, dude, we are killing people.
And it's like, I think it's like, God damn, the gas was going up.
And what's wild is many Americans don't know why.
Like I remember, like, you think?
I remember I was listening to a conversation between these women.
And they were pointing out like, yeah, food has gone out.
I can't believe that a whopper costs eight bucks.
And this gone up and gas.
And I was like, it's only going to get worse.
And the moment that you try to explain, well,
until I was taking the red sea, because of the ice blazea.
They're like a.
They're like an answer what?
They were like, what?
A who?
Why is it happening?
Blah, blah, blah.
Oh, my God, China's going to get involved.
I guess you're straight of Hormuz right here.
Yeah, they have no clue.
They're completely oblivious.
What they know is Trump did something and gas is going up.
They don't know the particular.
The details they can see.
I always say that American politics has rough justice to it, right?
Like, it's like George H.W. Bush, he knew what a supermarket scanner was.
He knew exactly what.
what it was. He was just being polite and he came off as a goofus. But it, but it was fair,
even though it was unfair, because he was a privileged Yaley who belonged to skull and bones,
who was out of touch and didn't really have to buy his own shit and didn't, you know,
wasn't connected to the problems of the American people during the middle of a harsh recession.
This is the same thing. You know, like people don't need to know about, you know, Ansarhala
and, you know, the Yemeni just the proxy war with the Saudi.
Arabia and all. They don't need to know all that shit, all they need, but it's, but it's happening under
this president. And, you know, the buck stops with him. And, you know, and I guess it's like every
Republican in Congress. By the way, some Republican congressional candidates have started to peel
away and distance themselves from the president in their public posturing, which has been interesting.
The Democrat, the Democrat running for the congressional seat here in Montana, very well could
win and he's running on the Iran wars. Trump started this. So the two things he's going after Trump
on is importation of hundreds of millions of tons of Argentine beef that Argentina could not sell
on the open market because no one wanted it. You guys to ask yourself why that is.
Get mind, Montana is a big agricultural state and then the cost of. Yeah, but they've got that
sweet Belarus and potash coming. Yeah, good luck with that. But cows don't eat fertilizer.
Not to mention there's nothing coming.
No, it's just it's all trash.
Trump should be, he should be in prison today.
And the Republicans deserve everything that's coming to them and hope that they get destroyed.
But what's sad to me is that the Democrats will benefit and they don't deserve it.
And that's the other sad part.
Yeah.
Like many like when people talk about that stuff and it's like, yeah, but what does it really give you?
Like you could say, well, we put Democrats in office.
Yeah, but for what?
Yeah.
What did they do?
Toward what end.
Right.
in opposition to Trump.
But it's like, that's still just an opposition.
What are you getting out of it?
And that's the scam, right?
Like you have two political parties
and both political parties realize
that the majority of things are not gonna be something
that they talk about because those things are settled.
How you like capital, the issue of wars,
the issues of, you know, how many is moved around the country
and those type of thing.
Okay, those things, you don't really have any say so over.
So what you talk about is, well, these big things
and the things are not that big because they're not that
big of a difference between the two parties on those things. A Democrats issue, if you listen to
like MSNBC, their issue is not that Trump attacked Iran. The issue is that Trump is losing the
war and he looks bad and that the American public doesn't like it and so they're honing in on it.
But, you know, if they're talking about Iran, they trash Iran every bit as much as the Republican
parties trash Iran. Same thing with Russia. Same thing with any other particular issue. It's not
but meaning it's done cynical for cynical reasons not because they care anything about the particular
issue it's very cynical um it's a scam it's like it floats back and forth like nance pelosi
one time said well they'll come back to us after they get tired of republicans meaning she knows
that they're going to be unsatisfied with the republicans because the public is not going to get
ultimately what it wants and it slashes back to democrats looking for something that it's not going
get out of Democrats and it slashes back we flail that's what we do we flail between these two
shit-ass parties getting and that's why we have like 58% you know turnout in national elections
you know which is definitely toward the bottom for and just be clear both parties no they don't
need to deliver that's the other part because you can fundraise on front you can fundraise from the
outside well they deliver to their donors that's so they deliver to they don't care about us
Well, when Donald Trump is making speeches and he's like, we've done this, we've done that, he's being honest.
Yeah.
He's being honest.
It just doesn't apply to us.
Like, you know, when they're taking in school, you have to write speeches to a particular audience.
You don't write it to everybody because it doesn't really make sense to everybody is to your specific audience.
We are the greatest country.
We've made huge amounts of money.
We're doing great.
Stock market is awesome.
Yeah.
The tale, the usual tale of two economies.
All right, let's talk about the talks that took place on the sidelines of the UN, right?
Yeah.
That's worthy and notable.
So the Iranian delegation met with U.S. reps to try to negotiate an end to the war,
or at least the reopening of the state of Pormuz, which from the Iranian standpoint is exactly the same thing.
Because that straight of Hormuz is not re-o-the-only way it's reopening is, as far as Iran is concerned, the war is over.
Right. So, okay, question here.
And I hope the Iranians would never be stupid enough to temporarily reopen it while they're negotiating.
Because they tried that shit before.
And it didn't.
They got played.
That was the theft that they put into play.
He got played.
All right.
The nuclear leader of the staff.
Yeah.
He's not.
So clearly, you know, all apocalyptic and, you know, rhetoric aside, Trump and his administration are
desperate to bring this in for a landing.
What do you think they're willing to give Iran to, to,
to accomplish that. In other words, is it deal possible?
No. I mean, it's possible. Trump could accept their terms.
Yeah, but in other words, is it likely that Trump will accept their turns?
No.
I don't let's, shall we go through them? I mean, like what, okay, so would Trump return their funds?
He returned some of them or at least he promised to. I don't know if they ever got them,
probably not, right? That'd be hard. I mean, like the way they check their money.
It is their money.
And we have no right to their money.
Every bit as much as we have no right to Venezuelan money or we have any right to Russian, right?
But we still stole resources from these countries.
Yeah.
The way they went after Obama when Obama gave Iran his money back.
And can you imagine that news clip of playing this is Trump complaining about Obama giving money to Iran.
Yeah, but who's going to play that clue?
Democrats?
I mean, I don't see Democrats playing that card.
They may not play that card.
True.
That's true.
I think Trump can do that.
I think Trump can get away with that.
He can return a sizable amount of the money.
If I were him, I'd probably be like, okay, you get half back now, half upon completion, like a real estate deal.
It would make him look weak.
He would never do it.
It would make him look weak.
Well, he's going to look weak if he wants to solve this war because he's lost.
All the war is one of the main provisions that Iran still is sticking with.
Yeah.
Your dog in line.
And he's got to choke.
Yeah.
he's got to pull that choker collar on Israel, which make the dogs holler.
Right.
Right.
Have you also?
Can he do that?
Well, he can do that.
He can do everything that's on the MOU.
Every last thing is within the power.
The question is will he?
And the answer is no.
Have you all shown the problem?
I just don't believe it.
I don't mind.
You saw yesterday.
Ben Moser yesterday was saying like, look, he thought I was being, you know, excessive
when I said that the U.S. relationship with Israel might still continue for another 10 or 15 years.
He thinks it'll be shorter than that.
All right, let's split the difference and say that it's seven or six years.
That's probably more accurate, right?
So what's going to, I mean, if you know that, then, you know.
But he doesn't know that.
Do you care about Israel, really?
But he doesn't know that.
And not just, he doesn't know that.
Trump doesn't know much of anything.
He's not a bright man.
And beyond the point, what Donald Trump is, and JD Vance is, and J.D. Vance can tell him.
But what Donald Trump is doing right now at this very moment is trying to maintain the American Empire.
And he's doing so because he believes that this capitalism stuff is now going against America.
Right. It's like, okay, we had all of these advantages after the Second World War.
These advantages have slid away from us now.
And we are receding as an empire.
We need to hold back the night.
And so what does he do?
We need to lock down South America.
We need to go after Venezuela and take the oil so China doesn't get.
We need to go after Iran because we need to hurt Iran, which would hurt China and Russia,
just because of the geopolitical position of Iran, meaning all of this stuff is now on the table
and this kind of naked aggression.
Why would he all of a sudden believe the same thing for Israel?
Meaning in the same way that he's doing this for the world, Israel is part of the piece of that puzzle.
I don't think he's going to give that up.
I just don't.
And leaving Iran, you know, emancipated.
which, for lack of a better term,
with their military force and everything else,
with them getting very familiar at hitting American bases,
with Ansorala and the resistance fighters
also taking part of this particular war
that is making America's economy scream.
I don't get the sense that he's willing to give up that pick.
Well, even Imperial Japan got to keep their empire,
I mean, their emperor at the end of the war.
Maybe there's some bone that Iran can throw to Trump
so that he saves a little face, right?
I don't know what that bone is, is it maybe you, you know, Iran agrees to, to roll back
and support of the axis of resistance to some extent or.
They're not going to do it.
But like, does Iran need to support Hezbollah?
They're not receiving tons of material support from Iran anyway.
If Hezbollah no longer has Israel up their ass.
Yeah, but Israel still exists.
Right.
I mean, that's the way.
For the time being.
But the resistance is not.
not there just because it's there, it's there because Israel is an irritant to the region that has
been murdering people in mass for decades. And so it's like they're not going to give up
what has allowed them to have some level of security, not just their missiles, but also
the axis. I mean, the fact that Yemeni got involved with the Red Sea and the Bobhammede
was dramatic. Yeah. Like gas goes from like $3.60 to $4.20 and then doubles.
By the way, do you guys have any insight into why and how the Houthis achieved?
their recent military advances. I mean, after years of stalemate? Yeah, that's a good question.
It seems that they were in this kind of incubation period. Like, they were building up their power.
That's what it seems like, because the moment that Saudi Arabia hit the airport, all hell broke loose.
I mean, obviously, Iran had been on the ground. So they were fighting like Afghans. They were just
careful, waiting, planning, watching. Yeah. That's the Afghan way. Like, you know,
You invade Afghanistan.
Everyone heads to the hills and you're like, look, we've won.
We can start fucking all the Afghan women and move right into their homes.
Uh-huh.
Yeah, you do that.
And then in a few years, they're going to be eating your bones.
Yeah, screaming from the hills.
But that's what it seemed like happened.
I mean, Yemen was under starvation, deprivation, poverty.
They were being killed by Saudis.
And all out, like, just came screaming from nowhere.
just taking over, regaining Yemen territory again.
I mean, part of it had to do with Saudi Arabia and the GCC states having to break down themselves in regards to policy.
But all that, besides the point, it was when they hit the airport is when all of the renewed struggle came about.
So, look, I guess my point is, I don't know what Iran would give Trump in this.
I mean, what do you give away?
We want your military bases to move away.
Do you really give that away, considering that they're launching attacks on your country?
We want all wars to stop.
We want the blockade to stop.
Okay, well, Trump can easily do the get rid of the blockade.
But the other things are just as important.
We want our frozen assets.
You've stolen our money.
We want our money back if you want this war to stop.
And let's be honest, it's not like Iran is immediately hitting the United States.
The moment that the U.S. stops, Iran, for the most part, stops.
I think they attacked Jordan yesterday.
But, you know, Donald Trump has responded to any of the most recent attacks that Iran is effectively done,
probably because he's concerned about the midterms.
but I would say the midterms are a loss cost.
I typically are definitely a loss.
I typically am the one who's more than happy to blame Israel for pretty much everything,
including the fly that landed on my cereal this morning.
But in this case, I don't that's the case.
Have you all seen the percentage of profit, not earnings, profit that the oil companies have made year today?
Oh, I know they make it in killing.
Yeah.
So I pulled it up because I'm bored.
So X on mobile.
I remember I'm old enough.
to remember when Congress passed taxes on windfall profits.
So ExxonMobil last year made $7.1,7.1 billion today, they're up to $14.58 billion, is
a hundred and four percent increase.
Sorry, I've got to call my broker right now.
No, right.
They, yet last year they brought in some four point seven billion today. They are sitting at
nine point eight four billion, a hundred and nine percent increase.
That's a number.
bind the five major companies are averaging between a hundred and five
assholes are the wrong business and russia had like 30 40 billion in profits or something like
that that's why yeah trump has no interest in ending this war it is enriching his donors
that's why the democratic party is not pressuring to have to have this war ended is enriching their
donors okay yeah i'm about to channel my life my is still going to be in a world of pain next year
cares. Well, he's got, he's got, he's care. If the new boss was like the old boss, seriously what? Okay, so George H.W. Bush started war, nothing happened. George W. Bush started a war, killed over a million people. He's not in prison. He's living his best life talking to Jenna Bush on the morning show gucking up about his new book. Just be clear, they ever happens. I don't think they would teach him over the war. Like I said, I think they were okay with the war. I think they would have piqued him over financial stuff. They would have had the war themselves. I think, I think if, I think if,
Kamala Harris were president and Bibi Netanyahu came to her and said, hey, I'm thinking of going after Iran.
Want to come along for the ride? I think there's a good chance she would have said yes.
Yeah, I don't have anything. Right. If I thought she was going to start a nuclear war with Russia,
frankly. If anything, I think that. If anything, what would happen is that the Democrats might
try to ramp the war down with Iran and then double down on the war against Russia. Because for whatever reason,
the Democrats have got a heart on against Russians.
They want dead Russians.
They want that they want that war.
Why it is, I don't know.
And in this respect, they are just like Donald Trump,
because Donald Trump thinks he can beat Iran,
and Democrats think they can beat Russia.
And those statements are both equally untrue.
Yeah, both are delusional.
Yeah.
Both are delusional.
And I need to do it,
wasting American lives in the case of Ukraine.
I mean, in the case of Iran.
And then for Trump to call those soldiers small potatoes.
Shit like that is like you get these people killed and your response, oh, this is small potatoes.
Here's a question for you, J.T.
You probably would be the right person to ask about this.
Why do you think the odds are that there's some Wagner type, some Wagner instructors training the Houthis on Asian-Bashem warfare and how to use these weapons?
All of a sudden, they're getting shoulder-fired missiles like to bring down planes.
I think there's a run before.
I do think they're running.
I don't know what the Russians.
The Russians aren't a resistance actor in that case, which is why many people are pissed off at the Russians in the Middle East.
Well, it's not resistance.
I've had people leave my show over shit like that over this conversation.
No, I get it.
But I mean, the United States is at war with you.
So it's not them helping the Houthis, not the kindness of their heart.
It's them opening up another front of irregular warfare, asymmetric war against the American.
They can do that. They have Iran. They can give Iran also. It's a targeting data, satellite data, also, shit.
No, sure. But geography helps the Houthis.
So, Russia can be playing both places. They could be helping both of them. Who knows?
Yeah. That wouldn't that surprise me. And then the difference.
We've seen what Russia has done in the Sahel, right? They like to outs. At this point,
they're trying to keep as small a footprint as possible, stay focused on Ukraine.
They're trying not to get distracted overseas. And they're trying to outsource as much of the other
overseas stuff to Wagner and other organizations.
You know, they're trying not to do it directly.
And I kind of, I mean, I don't entirely agree with it.
I think you can walk and chew gum at the same time.
But that's Putin's caution.
He's too gentle.
Putin is too gentle.
He's too gentle.
He's just two million dead Ukrainians.
That would disagree with you.
Well, the reason why there's two million dead Ukrainians is because he keeps dragging this war on,
I'm putting it to bed three years ago like he very well could have done.
I don't think he had the power to do that three years ago.
I know they would never say that, but I mean, they had 150,000 men against like 500,000 men.
Yeah, they weren't conscripting it that many guys.
And this has also turned out to be a drone war.
And having more men is not really what you need.
You need more drone technology and anti-dron technology and more drone operators.
I think it's a training issue, I think, in terms of getting up to speed.
This is the first true widespread drone war that we've ever seen.
Oh, for sure.
They're making doctrine.
They're literally making doctrine as we speak.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I mean, men, I don't.
This is what war will look like for the next few decades.
Until, yeah, until they cover up with some kind of anti-dron defense.
Sure.
But the reality of it is, Ukraine is running out of men.
And they went with this idea that you can have drones instead of men.
and that idea has been found.
Russia has men, but it needs them trained properly, and that takes time.
Speaking, speaking, have you all seen Trump's brand new truth socially?
He just dropped?
No.
God help us all.
What now?
Canada is destroying itself by allowing millions and millions of people into the country,
essentially unchecked and unbedded, who are causing problems that will soon be too big to handle.
It is a liberal takeover that will end very badly, already showing up and they're not.
numbers, big unemployment, oh Canada, President J.D. JT. He's such a clown.
What is he even talking about? I mean, they do have a relatively, they have a relatively
liberal immigration policy, but have you ever flown across Canada? Like, they've got the room.
Okay. I mean, they need population. That's like they're, that's why they have a liberal immigration
policy. Yeah, they're a huge population. I mean, they're a huge country. I mean,
Carney is right.
Like, regardless of what happened.
And honestly, the thing with Greenland is an exact,
is a good example of why Carney is right.
The moment that the bully is like, hey, can you give me a dollar?
The next thing that he's saying, can I get two?
Can I get the five?
You got to shove that dollar up his ass.
Yes, you got to hit him in the throat, hard.
And when he's choking on the ground, stump his throat as hard as you possibly can.
Agreed, agreed.
The reality of it is, Europe.
As they kept giving Trump stuff, he just kept taking more.
And when he's threatening Greenland, oh, I'm going to take Greenland one way or the other.
Okay, this is the same mob tactics that he's effectively used in every other context with Ukraine,
Iran telling him, Iran telling him F off and effectively going to war.
But there was no way to make a deal with Trump, even in that context, meaning even if Iran wanted a deal, which they did want to deal.
There was no way to make it with Donald Trump.
And the same thing is true for Europe.
The same thing is true for Greenland.
Greenland believes they have a deal.
Trump could come back tomorrow and was like, by the way, I interpret it.
this way. Oh, yeah, totally. I mean, yeah, you can't, like, I think it was Mark Carney who said that
Trump, the U.S. signs all of its agreements in pencil. A light pencil. We have some comments we should do.
And by the way, just a reminder, if you were not here at the top of the hour, this is the first week that
we're on the new schedule, expanded. So Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and today is Wednesday.
We go from 9 to 11. That's two full hours instead of one. Tuesday and Thursday is the way it used to be,
from 9 to 10 a.m.
So today, if you have questions, put them in any time.
But we definitely are more free form in the second hour starting at 10 Eastern.
Some comments.
Math 36.
Has anyone heard about the trucker strike October 1st?
I had not heard.
Oh, yeah.
Well, they need to, in a way, they have to go on strike, right?
Because they can't afford to run their trucks.
So, I mean, it's kind of like strike or is just out of gas?
Is there a different?
I'm not celebrating the fact that they're running out of gas,
so they're having difficulties.
What I'm celebrating is an interapathy.
No, I love truckers.
I mean, look, they're in a sense of,
they're,
they're awesome people,
and they're doing the most important work in this country.
I mean,
every CEO could fail to show up to work for the next year,
and nothing would fucking happen.
Every member of Congress could fail to show up to work for the next one year.
Nothing would happen.
You lose 25% of the truckers.
The country collapses.
Okay.
So, like, no, they're incredibly important people and doing a really hard job for not nearly enough money.
And we all owe them a massive debt of gratitude.
You know, and it's not you just fuck them over, Rowland.
Yeah.
And like the point is, look, I mean, look, if we were serious about supporting them, you know, the government could easily say, listen, don't worry, we got your back.
Like, you know, we'll give you gas subsidies.
every trucker who buys gas at a truck stop is going to get, you know, their gas is half off.
And you send the rest of the bill to Uncle Sam and Uncle Sam pays.
The problem is no push prices up even higher, though.
That's okay.
Because the problem is supply versus demand.
Yeah, the problem is inventory.
Yeah.
It's not like, yeah, but you're going to end up with a COVID type situation where, you know,
you have supply chain fuckups within the continental U.S.
You can't have that.
But here's the issue, though.
That's going to lead to a.
depression. I mean, then like if there's no, there's nothing on, no stock on the shelves,
there's nothing to sell. Stores are going to go out of business. I mean, people are going to lose
their jobs. Nobody told the U.S. going to a war. Two-thirds of the U.S. economy is consumerism.
We've got to keep the consumer goods flowing. But here's the issue.
Yeah, but nobody's going to go into war. I mean, look, you can have. Yes. You can have a war,
but you've got to go without your diesel, meaning. But T.T., you just said yourself,
there's not going to be a deal, right? So I'm just saying, given that there's not going to be a deal,
This is how they should deal with it.
They're not going to.
But they don't have the inventory.
Because it's under capitalism, the doctrine is sucks to be you, right?
Here's the issue, though.
If you get the truckers a voucher like this, then what's going to happen is, again,
I live out here in the middle of nowhere.
I live in a ranch country.
The ranchers cannot drive their tractors.
They can't.
I'd offer it, make the same offer to the farmers.
But we're going to get the diesel at.
Where are you going to get the diesel at?
I mean, listen, I can get an inventory.
I can give it.
Well, there's that problem.
This can't off of nothing.
Right.
You still have nothing.
Just be clear.
The reason that the price is going up.
Well, you can have gas rationing too for everybody else.
The supply has gone low.
So it's not like, it's kind of like the missile thing.
If you live in Los Angeles, you can take the US.
You get them in 2030.
Same thing with the gas.
I mean, and even somebody made the point of saying, well, the US should put an export
export ban on diesel.
And someone else kind of pointed out, it's like, but you make diesel from
crude and do you really believe that if the Udana States is hoarding diesel that anybody is going
to give it crude in order to make the diesel in the first place? Like it's a it's a calamity.
Yeah it is it is and it's like I agree with your premise it's like look well you need to give them
subsidies just like you did farmers with Trump gave farmers subsidies because he screwed up the
soybean trade with China. Because it's an essential service yeah yeah but if you don't have it I mean
this goes back to wartime right you don't have it you can't give it right no I don't have you
No, you're 100% right.
And by the way, they used to have food vouchers and all sorts of shit because they were rationing and whatnot.
Can you see this administration saying, hey, because of the war, we need to ration so and so and so and so.
Well, I hope the truckers go on strike and I hope they do it soon.
October 1st is only in a week, but it's not soon enough.
Because, I mean, someone's got to wake them, take a two by four and whack these assholes on the side of the head, right?
I mean, wake them up.
Daniel BTS, the GOP or in Miami,
Maria Elvara Salazar,
has been bashing Trump on immigration.
L.O.L. Desperation mode.
Yeah, I've seen that.
$2 from P.W. Walker.
Voting Blue won't save you.
No, it never does.
Let's see.
I mean, you can vote Blue if you want Trump impeached,
but you're not getting anything else.
The sooner the better.
Andre 420, I heard Brazilian B.
is coming into America as well.
That got refused by Mexico, L.O.L.
When I was in Brazil, the beef,
I thought their food is fantastic.
It has a good rep.
Daniel, BTS, I'm not convinced both parties still want,
sorry, I'm not convinced, comma,
both parties still want a strategic relationship with Israel
and are hoping voters forget about this issue
like they usually do with everything.
Sure, but this time is different.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Not for the leadership, I don't think.
It's different.
I agree with you that the coming generation is going to be hardcore in regards to their point of view of Israel being a genocidal state.
But the leadership that is paid handsomely by those same people, I don't think they're on that same page.
They may talk a game in order to kind of talk around it.
Like when Macron was at the UN grandstanding about the West Bank and said, there is no homehouse of West Bank.
He accepts the genocide.
He takes issue with West Bank.
thing, right? Like, okay, you can grandstand like that and you can try to get a clip out of that.
But obviously, he's still on board for Israel. And even when Hillary Clinton talks about it,
he talks about it as Nanyahu's issues. But everything's always the way it always has been
until it isn't, right? I mean, so Mike Hawk, how is America doing trade when half the world
we can't trade with free markets, my ass? Europe. Yeah, yeah. Either I, two bucks. Something like a million
dollars a day, sorry, a million barrels a day of diesel are being exported from the U.S.
And thanks for the donation.
Abdul Kidd, thanks for the $5.
The assumption that Trump's trying to preserve the U.S. empire is as faulty as believing
he had anything to do with writing the U.N. speech he could barely read the goals to
destroy the U.S. economy.
Well, I'm sure he, Trump probably did have a lot to do with the content of that speech,
because you can tell some of it he's going off script, right?
He does that a lot.
But I take the broader point.
I don't know if the goal is to destroy the U.S. economy.
Yeah, Alex train to make that argument,
that the goal is to destroy the U.S. economy.
I don't think that's the goal.
If I'm being honest with you,
I think the goal is to destroy every other economy.
Yes.
If you're looking at what...
But in an interconnected world,
you take yourself out when you do that.
Well, I think they're looking at it
like they were doing in the Second World War.
Okay, well, all of these are.
other countries are involved in war, so we ourselves are going to be prosperous as a result of them
destroying themselves, even if we're the last on the ant hill and everything else is in flames,
chaos is a ladder to take the game of throne thing. Europe can fight Russia. Okay, what's going to
happen in the context of that war? We're going to be able to sell the weapons and whatnot,
especially if we stay out of it. We may do something with China in regards to what kind of economic
warfare. Israel is going to go after Iran. Okay, none of this has worked in reality, right? The Europe and the
Russia thing. That may work. But the United States is abroad in a war, which I don't know if they
had planned on being in, short of Israel being in that war. So I don't know. But either way,
I don't think the goal is to destroy the U.S. economy. I think he's just in common.
Yeah. By the way, it's just a reminder. Sorry, Robbie. Just a reminder, please do subscribe
to the show. We need your support on YouTube in particular. Five dollars a month to watch exclusive
shows, $10 for credits at the end, $20 for very exclusive content.
Robbie, go ahead.
Do you all think it would be in the interests of a corrupt American government to have a
population of renters versus a population of owners?
They would prefer renters.
They would prefer renters, but owners would be better overall.
Well, because if you want your population to be renters,
to breaking the current economy would be how you make it happen.
Well, that's the movement that's the direction they're going.
But I agree it's motivated by incompetence.
But maybe the motivation doesn't matter, but that's the direction we're going.
They just want to make profit.
I mean, it's a capitalist success.
Short-term profit.
Right, but the current is always going in one direction.
It may go faster or slower, but it's going in one direction.
Meaning, however, they start with, okay, we haven't ever, you know, we're going to have this capitalism, schoolboy capitalism.
Everybody's going to profit.
The American workers is doing great.
Wages are going up.
Everybody's doing great.
But at some point, you know, you know, we're going to, you know,
know they're going to go beyond that notion of hey i can make even more if i do this i can make even
more if i do this right in which case you inch your way to the economy that you have now yeah they
would prefer renters if you're looking for what's best for a country and a society homeowners you want
people to own you want people to have a space yeah and be and feel vested yeah as opposed to this
continuous hamster wheel of paying a rent for something that you would never own yeah yeah no it's
profit they you make more profit from continuously getting
the money from people. Totally. And if people being completely insecure. All right, so let's switch
gears a little bit. So down there in, I guess, in Austin, Texas, there was a DoorDash delivery guy
named Wilbur Perez, 28 years old. Obviously, he's just doing his job by all accounts. No criminal
record whatsoever. He's delivering food. And suddenly, he's basically sideswiped by
an unmarked car. He naturally assumes he's being, he's being, uh, assaulted by, you know,
gangsters or something. That's what I would think. Um, and, uh, anyway, turned out, of course,
it was ice. Uh, the, he attempted, so when he realized that it might be ice, he attempted to
make a U-turn to try to pull over. At this point, um, the, uh, the, the, the ice guy gets out
who's a, you know, wet behind the ears, inexperienced, new,
recruit gets out of his SUV unmarked and shoots Perez.
So I should say Garcés Perez.
He shoots him's 28 years old.
Fortunately, he survived so he's able to talk about it.
The all ice goons are supposed to have body cameras at this point.
He had already, this guy had one, but it was not on during this incident.
I call bullshit on that.
I call it was probably on, but they lost.
I lost the tape, I'm going to guess here, because it doesn't make them look good.
This is just, I mean, you know, it's, I know it's not like really new, but it's notable.
We have to take note of these things every time they happen until they stop happening, right?
I mean, it's-
Cowboys.
And there's something inherently wrong with this idea of, I would rather him be dead than get away.
There's no evidence.
of a criminal record. It's no evidence that the guy is doing anything wrong per se.
He's delivering food. Yeah, he's just delivering food. So you caught a guy who's delivering food
and your responses. He's a criminal. And so I need to kill him. Okay. Maybe it's like,
meaning they would prefer him dead as opposed to him escaping, which is wow. Yeah, I mean,
let's put it, let's put this in a perspective. If he was a, like he had held up a liquor store and the
local Austin PD were chasing him, it would be inappropriate for them to behave exactly the same
way, to hit his car, imperil other motorists, and shoot him. Even though he'd just been, it was an
armed robber. Local PD probably wouldn't handle it that way. And this guy, he didn't, wasn't,
you know, at most, they were worried about his immigration status. That's it, which is a,
not even a misdemeanor, right? It's just a. And mind, he has already been in the country.
It's an administrative offense, right?
Yeah, it's not like he's breaking into the country.
He's committing some violent crime that we need to stop him from.
It's like hunting out of season or something.
I mean, it's not a major crime.
So it's a parking ticket.
I don't want him to get away, so I'm going to take a shot at him with my gun.
He's like, what?
I got to say, honestly, this shit's not going to stop until a couple of ice guys get killed.
Then it's going to stop.
Because, you know, basically, the ice guys are imperiling.
themselves. I mean, look, this is America. People have weapons. You know, we're rugged individualists.
We have the right to self-defense in all 50 states. You know, it's like if I think, if I can go to a judge and
incredibly convince a jury, look, I was driving, minding my business. I was, you know, delivering food.
I was delivering food. And, you know, this maniac in an unmarked car, not wearing a uniform,
not presenting ID, hit my car. I felt scared.
so I availed myself with my second right, my second amendment solutions, and I pop the fucker.
I guarantee you that most jurors from far left to far right are going to be like, yeah,
I probably would have done the same thing.
He didn't know who the guy was.
It's not like he was identified as a cop.
Right.
Right.
I mean, you're totally within your rights to do that.
Yeah, that fair game.
I mean, they're a fair game.
I mean, you're running up on people unmarked, unidentified, wearing ski masks.
what do you think that they're going to do?
Who does that?
Who does that?
Right?
I actually agree with you.
You're like showing who your face is because you know your goons and just like other goons and other oppressive states.
You know, the same fate.
Well, I'm not going to say the same fate of weights.
But I guess my point is like they know what they're doing.
They know their sins, which is the reason why they're not showing their face.
But either way, I don't know who you are.
And if I have a weapon and I think I'm under attack, I have every right for something.
defense. Every right. I agree with both of you. It's outrageous. Like the idea that you have the Stasi
force all throughout the states that are just rounding up people. Some of these people being Americans,
by the way, they held up to Americans recently. I'm a little ashamed of my fellow Americans,
many of whom are armed and well-trained in the use of a weapon, have not defended themselves
against these kind of assault. And there have been, by the way, fake ice goons who have kidnapped and
raped women like basically like look I have a ski mask I'm an I'm a nice officer yeah
that's outrageous that should not be legal no if this guy was really it was illegal and I have
no idea if it was or not they could have just caught him at the end of his shift so okay come on
on with us yes you have to go home being an illegal to him like a normal person and be yes
excuse me sir can we talk to you so this another example of Trump doing the right thing the
wrong way. So being an illegal immigrant is not a death sentence. You should go home. You shouldn't be
you shouldn't be sent to the next world. I mean, there's two very different things. Outrageous.
Like imagine someone getting a parking ticket and the cop shoots them because they think he's walking
away. It's so fucking unprofessional. I mean, in L.A., they used to have these like crazy high speed
chases all the time with the LAPD and the, and they used to call them the ghetto birds, the helicopters
following them. And then even even the crazy ass heavily militarized LAPD that gave the world the
SWAT team decided at a certain point that they were in power they were imperiling public safety.
And it's like, you know what? Like sometimes dude's going to be getting away and that's okay.
And other times, you know, we can see them from the air and we can like set out a, you know,
a nail strip and catch them later. Do it as do it as safely as possible.
It's just not worth it, right?
I mean...
They're having gunfights in the middle of the street.
It's not even gunfight.
They're just shooting in the middle of the street.
I mean, it's like these guys are reinventing the wheels when it comes to law enforcement.
I mean, you know, American cops have hundreds of years of experience.
They know what works and what doesn't work.
It's like, why not talk to people who are professionals and know what the fuck they're doing?
This doesn't seem like a law enforcement.
It seems like something else.
Yeah.
It's like law enforcement is different, at least in my mind.
It's not running up.
on people unmarked and snatch them off the streets and I want to re-emphasize this is dangerous for ice
like they are endangering themselves these tactics are bad for them you know yeah I mean they should
and they're and it's gonna happen I mean I'm surprised that they haven't been popped yet yeah
yeah it will happen you will get no tears from my side on this no I mean I might privately be
laughing a little bit. I might not be privately laughing a little bit. But I mean, it's certainly like
when it happens, it's not going to be surprising. I mean, I don't want to see anyone lose their life,
really, truly. Well, there's a few people who I wouldn't mind seeing. There's a few people.
There's a few people.
By the way, did you see this story on ALC considering running for the presidency?
No. What's the latest?
It's the New York Times and they come out with this big editorial
Acacio Cortez, 2028, quote,
Life doesn't wait for you to be ready, unquote.
This is an editorial.
Yeah, this is editorial.
Well, it's an interview, I think.
It's an interview.
Okay.
It says in a wide-ranging interview,
the New York Times, the New York Congresswoman,
offered the most detailed insight
and to her thinking about a possible presidential run.
And her thing is basically, like, look,
I'm thinking about 2008 as a presidential run.
She made the point of saying she's even thinking
about a Senate run.
against Chuck Schumer. And her concern was like, if you do a Senate run makes sense for her.
That's what I thought too. A Senate run makes sense. President will run less so. But a Senate run
I mean, for ever right, why do you think, I'll say why I don't, but why do you think it doesn't make
sense for her yet? The president's run. I don't think she is, I don't think she's great for
presidency. For some reason. In general or now? But just something of, but just something of
about her that doesn't quite.
She's not presidential timber.
Yeah.
Oh, she doesn't look presidential timber.
No, she doesn't.
No, she doesn't.
I mean, look, she, look, the first part is constitutionally,
she's barely qualified to run for president, right?
She's 36 years old.
She'll be 38 during the election.
You know, I think William Jennings, Brian,
ran the first time in 1896 against McKinley
at the age of 36.
I think he's the youngest person ever elected.
It was a surprise nomination.
He gave a very famous speech
at the Democratic National Convention.
You will not crucify us on a cross of gold
or force us to wear a crown of thorns.
And this was the crown of thorns speech
that was about a controversy that is now forgotten
about bimedalism.
right like whether the u.s should go off the gold standard or supplement it with by with the silver
standard right which was viewed as the more populist working class approach to monetary policy but
um william jennings brian was a colossus intellectually and uh as an orator um and that's why the convention
just went crazy and like it was like they elected they nominated him by popular acclamation he went on to
run, I think a total of four times.
But, and it's funny to me that he's forgotten now because he was such an important figure
that defined American politics for 25 years.
But, you know, the Scopes Monkey Trial, he was one of the lawyers in that case, and he
died like right afterwards.
Reap the whirlwinds, that's him.
But she's no William Jennings, Brian.
I think she she doesn't have it right now.
She doesn't have what it takes to be taken seriously.
She doesn't have the grabitas.
She doesn't have the accomplishments, right?
She doesn't, she can't say.
And she doesn't have the.
Obama was viewed as someone who had amazing oratorical skills.
She doesn't.
And he was viewed as having tremendous potential.
This was a guy who was like, holy shit.
that, you know, the world is his oyster, anything's possible.
I don't think she's viewed that way.
And I think there will be a president.
There will be a first woman president.
It's 200 plus years overdue, but I just, I'm not sure it's going to be her.
But I could see her being a VEP in eight years.
I could see that.
Yeah, I'm skeptical of a presidency thing.
But some reason, and I don't quite, like I can't, all your reasons.
I accept all your reasons.
That's true.
And presidents, there's something about them that is different.
Yeah.
It's this sort of intangible thing.
And sometimes people grow into it.
Like, I would have said four years ago that J.D. Vance didn't have it.
I think he does now.
Barely.
Yeah.
I think he's grown into it a little bit.
No.
I mean, I'm not talking about politically or anything.
like that i'm just mean in terms of it's the look could you imagine that guy like you know you know
you know you know giving a speech from the oval office could you see that guy shaking hands with
kirstarmer um you know you know if i'm gonna do but he can't but he can't well trump does have he
he does he has it in a weird way here's what here's what the aOC has going for she she's
young, she's
Latino, she's attractive,
and she has an Instagram account. She has a follower.
She's probably the first member of Congress,
maybe the only one that you could rightly
call an influencer. So she's very relatable,
especially to women voters.
So, I mean, she,
I can't think of another member of Congress that goes on there
on Instagram and puts up makeup on her face
while she's talking to our people.
That's what she does.
Instagram for her is what
Twitter used to be for Trump.
She is relatable.
That's what she has going for.
Do you remember Beto,
O'Rourke, Beto O'Rourke following AOC's thing of just like cooking and doing Instagram,
putting on makeup doing Instagram and talk to the audience.
He does a dental visit.
Did you, do you remember this?
Yeah.
He went and did a dental visit online on like Instagram.
It was a weirdest thing in the world, right?
Because you can't talk because the dentist is in your mouth.
And it's like, ugh, why are you doing this?
He was trying to glam on to what AOC was done.
Yeah, but he couldn't do it.
That's my take on it because he weren't doing those videos before.
Oh, for sure.
I mean, that's what it is.
And listen, I agree with you.
I don't think that she would ever get elected, not to the presidency.
I think that going for the Senate in New York makes a lot of sense for her.
As far as where she goes from there, I don't know because I don't know how serious she could be taken as a head of state whenever you.
She would have to get some shit done in the Senate more than Hillary did with the only bills that Hillary ever.
But Congress doesn't do anything.
There's no shit to get.
When Hillary was a senator, she only had like four bills with her names on it, all for renaming
post offices.
But the Congress doesn't do anything.
That's the problem.
Her husband was her credentials.
Yeah.
I mean, it's the epitome of the dead end shook for work job and get paid because Congress
does nothing.
Well, that's true.
I mean, she could look, the thing is like the Bernie Sanders thing where, you know, he was
the long, struggling socialist.
outsider who kind of the conscience of the left kind of taking over the Ted Kennedy role
that I don't know if she can fill that spot you that from her I mean Sanders I've been doing it
for like 20 30 years in a wilderness yeah that's why he had that's why he had credentials yeah exactly
yeah he had credibility I've been fighting this for 30 years so now this is my moment I was doing
this shit when Reagan was president yeah yeah and I never deviated that was the same person
AOC doesn't no she doesn't know she doesn't and I've seen her flip on the Israel thing anyway yeah
I mean she was hardcore before she got elected then when she got elected it moderated heavily
and I saw her in an interview with um William F Buckley's OSHA the firing line I don't think
she can pass the stress the stress test either I mean she's not good in an interview I can't
imagine her in a debate holy shit very attractive woman asks her what do you mean by
occupied and she lost she just fell apart she fell apart she was the
And she froze. She didn't know what to do.
Yeah. And it's like, oh, that's pathetic. That's pathetic.
It's not good. Yeah. I mean, say what you want about Donald Trump. He doesn't fail those kind of tests.
You know.
You don't think anything at any particular moment.
Yeah. No, I mean, so, I mean, I think she can.
She has the.
Oh, I mean, I think Chuck Schumer would have to step aside. I don't think she would prime.
Well, could she primary him?
Yeah.
Well, she's talking about primaring him in the office.
I'd vote for her over Chuck Schumer.
Yeah.
Because, I mean, Chuck Schumer is like, he's well past his expiration date, you know,
I mean, for a variety of reasons.
It's not even, even if I didn't hate his politics, which I do, you know, it's just like,
yeah.
I mean, you know, the dark horse candidate that people aren't talking about for 2028 is New York
Governor Kathy Hokel.
You know, I don't like her.
Really?
but people are but she she's more central casting like she's like the kind of you could you know like in a
sci-fi film or or tv show you know you can imagine her as like madam president you're like yeah
i can see that and i think that's a lot of the way americans cast their presidents like can i see
this person in my tv box you know um can i see that head floating there next to an american flag and i think you
could well i just kind of assumed that every president would be black after obama i was shocked
when trump i was like holy shit he's that black he's the he's the he's the whitest of all white guys
right right yeah he's just certainly he's not that guy that you're going to discover like
oh and i do i do 23 at me and i discovered then i'm part somali like no that that's not that's not
Now, I don't know who, I mean, maybe Kathy Houcher, like, I got to be honest, I don't know who's on a Democrats bench.
I know you think Buttigieg.
Oh, yeah, I'm on, I'm not on team Buttigieg, but I'm on team thinking Buttigieg is the man to beat.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's see right now.
Let's do some comments.
And just a reminder, we're now in the second hour.
We go nine to 11 on Wednesdays and Fridays and Mondays.
So I don't know why I put that in that weird order.
But anyway, so if you have a question, comment, whatever, please go ahead and tell us.
We are, this hour is more about you guys than it is about us.
So suggestion for two guests to interview from Kilroy and thanks for the don't know.
Zachary Faust talks about the economy and J.D. Opdyke of Global Intelligence Letter.
I don't know either of those people.
Nor do I.
So Zachary, F-O-U-S-T.
and Jeff D.
This is a name I have to admit, I have no idea, maybe Dutch,
O-P-D-Y-K-E of Global Intelligence Letter,
which I assume is a substack of some sort.
But, okay, Anna Mandarake, did you guys see Jacob Rees-Mogg's little speech
about how war is coming?
Filthy peasants need to join the army,
and many of them might die.
It's normal for them to die.
No, I don't even know who that is.
Wait, whose speech?
Jacob Rees, R-E-E-E-S,
MOG.
I don't know what that is.
I don't know either.
So I guess the answer to that question is no.
I saw NATO's thing.
I don't know if you saw NATO's video.
They put out a propaganda video for white Europeans to get ready to die.
For Ukraine?
He killed by Russians.
Oh, that's beautiful.
To go running into the Whitchieper.
Yeah, those are good times.
That's how my great, I guess it would be my great uncle,
diet in, is that right? Yeah, great uncle in World War I. Roguebot MD, but Obama was horrible
on foreign policy too. He led us down the path to the Ukraine conflict. I never said he was good.
And just turned the Middle East into a dumpster fire. I never said he was good. I just say,
I assume there will be a black president. It's so funny how people interpret that, right? Like,
I remember giving a speech one time in the 2004 election and one of the Q&A, someone asked me,
who i thought was going to win and i said bush and people booed me and i'm like you asked me
who i thought was going to win not who i want to win right and i never said i wanted both to win
and also i'm not a warlock i don't make things happen you know like you know like no i never said
obama was good on foreign policy i mean the no i wrote an entire book about how obama sucked
i don't know anyway i remember i was having a conversation with a guy and he said um he says you know
I don't think black Americans were ready for a black president.
And I remember thinking about what he meant by that.
Like his point was this ability to hold a particular president accountable
became impossible because Republicans were attacking the president.
And you didn't necessarily want to join in to some of the racial shit they were saying.
Like the eight pictures of what's their name, the ask for the birth certificate.
All this shit is well beyond the pill, right?
No white president had the show a birth certificate.
No.
It's beneath the office.
That should have disqualified Trump a note by itself.
but apparently i didn't care all that much about it i guess my point is his thing was it is impossible
to hold the first black president accountable that blacks if indeed republicans are doing racist
shit about the president and and he's right like nobody could say anything like when you had like
cornell west or jesse jack jacques said a few things like he's like i'm going to cut obama's
balls off he's been talking to let out to black people um he's got to cut his balls off i mean this is the
the same guy it was crying on the white house line when jr. When Obama got elected right yeah
i don't know man it became complicated cornell west was ostracized because cornell west was going after
obama full bore he didn't necessarily care that the other people were going after him but it made
it complicated it complicated for sure um maybe let's see uh p p p p p p p p p pf okay um
about AOC, maybe Bluth Funk,
please ask yourself if you'd say any of these things about Trump.
Well, you'd say different things about Trump.
I mean, before Trump ran and I was being asked about his chances to run
and whether he could be elected president, you know, I definitely taught,
he had, first of all, you couldn't say he was too young.
That certainly wasn't true.
You know, but I mean, you could say, you could definitely say he,
I kept saying he had no political or military experience whatsoever, and historically, that has
always been something that people wanted. He was also rude, crude, and socially unacceptable,
and I wasn't sure that the American people were ready for a president who was basically a carnival
barker. No, I mean, I'd say different things because AOC and Trump are just not at all the same people.
You know, I mean, politically or temperamentally or stylistically or generationally at all.
So, no, I wouldn't.
I don't mind the check in terms of like, well, are you being sexist?
But I also think we have to, look, to be clear here, I would happen, there's any number of women who I would happily have voted for for president.
Elizabeth Warren is one of them, even though I have problems with some things about her politics.
But her.
mate. But her, yeah, she's a snake. It's true. And what she did to Bernie and stuff. But the point is,
there's definitely, I think it's, but I think more to the point when you acknowledge the fact that
like women face challenges in running for office that men don't and that the public isn't used to
seeing women in high positions of power in the same way. And even I know a lot of very well-educated
smart women who say themselves they would not vote for women. I'm reminded of Barbara Jordan,
who always said that she was, you know, she was a famous black congresswoman from Texas who
she was famous during the Watergate hearings. And she said it was much harder to be a woman
politician than to be a black politician in the 70s, right? So I'm aware of all that, but you have to
acknowledge that, like, you know, it's an impediment. Like with Buttigieg, you know, his biggest
impediment is the fact that he has that he's gay right and so it's not homophobic to point that
out to say like the public would have to get over that I mean it's not an advantage it's maybe a
slight advantage in a among the democratic leadership they I think they would like that
but among the electorate in general I think it's an impediment I mean I did ask myself
was that being sexist I think I even said it openly like allowed like am I being sexes when I'm
thinking about this um would you vote for a 36
year old dude with the same exact political and life and history as aOC and the answer is no no i mean
if all things are being i don't have an issue voted for a woman no right we're way overdue all things
being equal if it's a man and a woman and they're identical i will vote for the woman just because it's time
well i don't know about that i mean like i'm being equal all things being equal all things being equal
all things are never equal.
No, all things are never equal.
If the guy likes Star Trek,
if the guy I read Dune, I'll probably be a good guy.
Like if it's something,
it could be something like, it's like, okay,
I need to make a choice.
It's a punk rocker.
That might do something for me.
It could just be,
she's very attractive.
I can see myself worshipping her.
It's God emperor.
It could be something silly
if all things are being equal.
But I don't think it's bad to have an attractive
precedent either because.
Oh, that would be great.
It's also, I mean, you have to see them all the time.
And also, you know, frankly, you know, people who are more attractive are going to, you know, have better luck in negotiations and get along better with foreign leaders.
Yeah.
Yeah.
John of Kennedy, right?
Like Camelot.
All that stuff.
No, I wouldn't have an issue.
Robbie, you are muted.
I would vote for the 36-year-old guy if he promised to burn down the entire system that's screwing us all because he's closer to it.
Like, for example, the Democrat who's running here for the Congress here in Montana, he's a smoke jumper.
He's a firefighter.
Politics is never what I was planning on doing.
Yet here we are.
And so if we're able to have a guy who's running for president, kind of like what Trump was,
only without the string of bankruptcies and stuff, the system does not work.
These companies are making record profits.
They are screwing each and every single person on the planet on earth, starting with the American people.
I want to burn it down completely and start over.
I would vote for him just on the, what's your platform, sir?
Burn it down.
Got my vote.
Seriously, that would be enough for me.
The status quo does not work.
The burn it down thing I'm fine with.
I mean, and I think that's why a lot of people flock to Sanders and Trump, ironically,
because both of them had that energy of, you know, we're having a political revolution.
We have to start from scratch here.
Yeah, the stuff is, we have to change everything.
Sanders didn't mean it.
But you can't, again, you can't vote your way out.
of a problem like this. I mean, you know, you can't vote your way into a revolution by definition.
Yeah. Well, right, it's a revolution. The entire point of it's the overthrow, the previous order,
not to... Right, and that means the whole thing's got to go. I mean, I mean, here's what I always
ask people who say, like, ooh, we shouldn't have a revolution. I'm like, look, if you were
starting, if you were at a constitutional convention and it was 1789 all over again, would this be
the system that we created? And the answer is, fuck no. Okay?
I mean, there would be no electoral college.
There probably wouldn't be a Second Amendment.
There's a bunch of other stuff that we wouldn't do.
And we wouldn't have a two-party system.
We'd have a multi-party system because that's what most Americans want, right?
So, you know, I mean, the fact is that we would be doing everything differently in a really radical way.
We'd have a far more robust social safety net.
So given all that, okay, that's where we want.
to be. That's where we would be if we had the chance. Well, how do we get there? The only way we can
get there is through a revolution because the system is not going to change itself into that now.
Yeah, but apathy. Like it's it's apathy. It's over the time. Like when I was telling
the story at the earlier part of the show where you don't think it's just resignation.
I think in some part it's, I think part of it is people don't know what's going on.
or they get snapshots.
I think the other part is, okay, well, even if I accept what you say is true, how do I do anything about it?
Well, yeah.
And I think that part is the part that's killed.
Yeah, and because there's no organization that can like help bring that about.
So it's like somehow something has to come together.
Like if people weren't resigned, they'd be stupid.
They're right not to think that anything will change because nothing is going to change until we're in a, you know, there's some organization or something.
Had to go through to similar thing, right?
It's like you had all of these years.
decades, hundreds of years of slavery or Jim Crow, et cetera. And then the catch becomes, okay, we need to
mobilize for the rights. But everybody was in the same situation. Okay, well, what do you expect us to do
with that? It's always going to be this way. Nothing is going to change, et cetera, et cetera.
And then a movement. Well, then people started organizing. They started organizing.
But the same thing has to be true for this. And it has to be less nebulous as be,
you know, this is what we are aiming for. Yeah. And I think that's the killer. That's the hard part.
Yeah. That's all right.
For sure.
People would agree with you that everything is fucked up.
How do you change it is the part that creates inhibition in it?
I'm not going to say apathy in and of itself.
I mean, we obviously, I don't think people care is what.
Apathy implies that, yeah, people just don't give a shit.
Yeah, I don't think they give a shit.
I don't think that's quite true.
I think it's people are, they despair that a new world is possible.
Well, and they care about their individual self, not beyond themselves.
Well, they have to.
Now, I think JT, I think that you, I think that you hit on it earlier.
Because remember you're talking about that lady who's complaining about the cost of a whopper?
Yeah.
It's like, oh my God, gas is so high and beat is so high.
Like the whopper is so expensive.
And it's like, hey.
I mean, to have a self-governing system of government, you've got to have some buy-in from the population.
You've got to pay some attention on what's going on.
If you were too lazy to do a Google search and see, what exactly is this going on?
If you're if you're that checked out, if you're that removed, representative system of government cannot work by definition.
I don't know how many people care. I mean, we in a representative of government, we effectively tell people to sit down, vote, and everything will be great.
That's kind of the way we explain.
We take it from here.
Yeah, we'll take it from here.
I mean, the entire point of it, representative, right?
Well, you're going to represent my interests in Congress when the reality of it is, there may be a million things that they can do.
What do you think they're going to choose?
Okay, Bob is paying me $100,000.
dollars. Maybe I pay attention to more Bob as opposed to other people because these other people
I can just win them over when I get the money in order from Bob. Like at a certain point, you realize
there's so many things that they can do in that office that ultimately they're going to air towards
the side of the people who are giving them the cash because from their point of view, that is how they get
elected. That's rational, by the way. Because it's cropped. True. Rational. By the way, Susan Collins,
did you see the ProPublica piece? No. No. ProPublica put out a piece of Susan
Collins accepting bribes. And they caught a red-handed. The FBI had a case against Susan Collins.
What? And when Trump got into office, Trump gutted the FBI, in which case gutted the case against Susan Collins.
Apparently, there was some kind of firm that was given her Super PAC money. Susan Collins sent a thank you before it even registered that the money was sent from the super PAC.
Basically, we caught true red-handed. You're not supposed to be working with your Super PAC. You're accepting money from these guys that are 200s of thousands of dollars. You're giving them thank you.
directly even before the money
even airs, meaning you're talking to the people
who are paying you. Yeah.
And she pushed them
millions of dollars in contracts.
No, I did, I did do a search on this yesterday
because remember that that guy who was running
against Susan Collins, the Democrat who got
M-toot and got taken out?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Graham. So I decided to
do a follow-up on that. The woman who accused him,
she never went to the police
after he dropped out of the case.
or after he dropped out of the race,
which makes me think that there was nothing to that at all.
And it also turns out that she invited him to the house
because, yeah, Grand Platner,
because she needed to have a,
she needed to have a thigh massage.
That text message was never released by the media.
He got,
who needed a bad massage?
The woman who accused him of rape.
She said she needed a gluten massage is in the text message.
The media never ran with it.
They talked about the relationship.
They ran full on with the accusation.
to me like a request for a butt massage.
It was.
So to me that sounds like it's not that there's so much to join, but a butt massage.
Maybe you wanted to.
Who couldn't use a butt massage though in this day and age?
But the point I'm trying to make is that Susan Collins is going to be the senator from Maine yet again.
I don't know about that.
No, I think she's in deep shit now.
I think so.
I think that's the end of her.
Mainers are not going to put up with that shit.
But the point is right on that shit.
I mean, she's given millions of dollars.
the contract.
The Democrat who replaced Plattener is a pretty solid candidate.
So yeah, he's done.
She's fucking done.
I hope that I hope the Platner sues the hell of that woman that accused him.
I hope he goes after like.
Yeah, but there's always the stric and the effect.
If I were him, I'd lay low.
So who cares?
You already slattered.
Believe me.
I know all about it.
There's a bunch of things that you're a racist already.
Just just do it.
Believe me.
I know all about it.
If that blows up in May, she's toast.
They got her dead to write.
In fact,
Consider it blown up.
If it was for Trump.
Okay.
Duskburn.
What about Osso, John,
what is it,
Josh Osso?
John Osso, John Osso.
He's been setting it on fire lately.
I've seen some of his speeches.
I don't know.
He leaves me flat.
I don't get it.
He's a Zionist Jew.
The Democrats would never.
supporting he would never it's the whole
Josh Shapiro effect only he's not only he's
smart enough not to sign bombs
yeah I mean seriously also I don't get it
like I actually more understand Josh Shapiro's appeal as a
candidate than Osaf I mean
Shapiro has the Riz I mean you know
I mean they're just don't Obama impressions
would never fucking vote for him yeah
it's just an Obama impression
yeah yeah yeah yeah it doesn't do it for me
it's like all the Democrats have just start
doing that as their cadence thinking
this is the way to get it.
Meaning from their point of view,
it's about messaging instead of about substance.
All right, Q&A continues with Macadine.
Thanks for the dollar.
Ted, are you aware that urinal etiquette
is that we do not talk at the urinals?
And do Robbie and J.D approve of Ted's pension
of striking out conversations at truck stop urinal?
I was gonna bring that up.
So A, it was not a urinal.
It was the side of the road.
So y'all are peeing on the side of the road.
Peeing on the side of the road.
Okay, and I don't know if that's an exception.
And B, I did not strike up
this conversation. Who struck up the conversation? The trucker did. And he, both of you,
penises out, peeing. And he says, hey, by the way, he was just like, I think he was just like,
you know, like cold morning, huh? Cold morning. Cold morning. Yeah. And one and just turned to the other
there was, there was a, there was a ballroom called Rose.
land in which they had concerts and shows and stuff like that in Times Square.
I saw the kinks there, the sex pistols.
And it was an old-timey, like, you know, probably from like 100 years ago, like ballroom,
like where people would like meet and like you have dance cards and stuff.
And in the bathroom, the men's room was cavernous in the basement.
And it had rows of urinals facing each other.
What?
Yeah.
Awkward!
You're like right there.
That's so weird.
And it's like, you're sort of like, hey, hey.
It's like, how you doing, man?
This is a pretty good party, right?
God, that's so weird.
Oh, that's so weird.
I know in Egypt they had the things in the floor while you had to pee, like directly in the floor.
Uh-huh.
Yeah, yeah, the Turkish style.
Oh, those are so gross.
Oh, but you get a good squat going, right?
It's like the squatty part.
You get like things come like come out better, you know.
Give me a good toilet any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
I don't know.
I think I think the, I'm on team squat all the way.
Maybe Bluth-Punk.
This man has killed multiple people, raped children, brought an existential war to Iran,
created a Gestapo, maybe Bluth-Punk, but she doesn't have leadership potential.
Yeah, but we're not talking about who's the better president or who has the better policies.
talking yeah we're handicapped or who's yeah we're handicapping who could win an american presidential
primary and election those two things have little if anything to do with one another
just be clear we're not saying her quality as a candidate like meaning nobody's saying how good she'll do
as president right i don't i don't think there's any way to know that right the argument we're making is
can she get elected right and there's that sort of and one of the reasons that risk and people like
If I lose the presidency, then I would lose my congressional seat also, which, you know, makes
her think twice about.
Right.
And people kind of like, you know, I mean, so when people consider who to, when American voters
go to the polls, they think of it.
Like, it's like a feeling.
It's a vibe.
Do I think, could I see John McCain as president?
Could I see Sarah Palin as president?
You know, it's not about now.
Sarah Palin may very well have been an excellent president.
we'll never know.
But the point is that we, you know, it has nothing.
That's not what we're talking about here.
I mean, Donald Trump is a fucking maniac.
And he shouldn't have, he should.
And, you know, like Robbie said, he should be in prison.
Like you said, he should be in prison.
I say the same thing.
Yeah, we're not comparing me to.
No, it's like, and believe me.
Yeah.
Fantastic.
president maybe maybe she could you know assure in a new age for a thousand years could well be uh
that's not really what I'm judging I'm judging on you know I actually don't have any sense of
what you of whether she'd be a good president or not I'm not even thinking about that
I mean that there's so many variables there in you know it's hard to say I mean I don't
know that she's a student of the presidency you know what I mean like in terms of what
works and what doesn't work, she may well be. I don't know. If we hit the skids,
like again, man, this will be an opportunity for a left-wing candidate to knock that shit
out of the part. Yeah, in a crisis. Yeah, this chaos. 1932, right? Like, everything's falling apart.
Look at what FDR did. FDR did whatever the fuck he wanted because of that crisis. Yep, exactly.
Yep. I'm going to move heaven and earth. Aliens about the attack Earth.
I get grace to do whatever the hell.
Exactly.
Ryan,
the Democrats are a Zionist party and don't care what their base wants.
Well, that's for damn sure.
They will go with Osaf.
I don't know about Osaf.
I don't know.
I just don't believe that they can, I don't believe a Zionist can get elected.
They can't be nominated.
They can't be nominated.
Exactly.
Andre 420.
Can you guys ask Robbie?
Hey, Robbie.
What do you think about Said,
with Carmelah?
I think Say it's a con man.
I think he's a younger Bernie Sanders
with no substance, no spine,
and he's got the looks,
but he has zero substance,
and he's a little let down
a whole bunch of lefties because he's
more of the same, only with a slight tan.
There's a thing.
Well, at least you didn't say he should be deported.
Well, he's from here.
I can't deport.
Word him on.
Yeah, I'm teasing.
I'm teasing.
But do you think he's doing this Kamala Harris thing
to get you like that?
Meaning I need to somehow bridge a gap among people
that for whatever particular reason I just don't have access to.
And apparently I was listening to a Hassan Piker thing
where he was like, hey, there's a gap
between the black community and Muslim community.
And I'm like, really?
I need to exclate about this.
Because I didn't really realize that this was the thing.
I mean, I saw it in the polling where the black areas
went to his opponent.
And he was able to take the other areas of Michigan, but it was a close race.
Well, I mean, he could always just reach out to the nation of Islam.
I mean, why would you reach out to, seriously, why would you reach out to Kamala?
She has arrested, she's, she's directly responsible for the prosecution of the untold number of black men,
put them in prison for smoking pot while she laughed about doing it herself.
She has an innocent, she sent an innocent dude who she admitted she knew was innocent.
to death row. He's still in San Quentin.
So if you're trying to reach out to the black community,
you probably wouldn't reach out to the woman responsible for being black men in prison.
That's probably not the best play.
Although there's a lot of,
there's sort of a lot of mainstream, you know,
black voters, older people, churchgoers who,
the kind of people who respond to the James Clyburns of the world.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, like think of what Sanders.
went through. Sanders, I remember he gave the speech at a church and it was a black church.
And everything that he's saying is getting applause lines. Like they love him what he's saying, right?
Clinton comes up, gives her speech, milk toast. And yet when Sanders leaves, all of them are on team
Clinton. He's like, oh, she's establishment. That's the way they look at it. Kamala Harris
may also be looked at as the establishment, which gives blacks, oddly enough for what of a particular reason.
this kind of license to latch on to the party under Saeed.
I don't know.
It's very weird.
I agree with you on some parts, Rob,
because it's not like Kamala Harris got the black vote
when she was running in the primaries.
Black voters have because small C, conservative
within the Democratic Party.
I think they're afraid of wasting their vote.
I think their votes were hard to come by,
and they're afraid that like if they vote for a radical,
they'll lose and the Republicans will get in
and make their lives even worse.
Yeah, but you saw it win the primaries.
If Sayy wanted to win, all he would have to do is have press conferences at every gas station in the state.
Said, this is what's going on.
This president and this Congress started a war for Israel.
And you are literally paying the price for it right now.
It's not a racial issue.
It's literally a class issue.
It's between do you have to buy sardines at the dollar store to survive as opposed to going to Waterburger?
Well, I guess Waterberg is not exist in Michigan.
I mean, pick your restaurant.
right but you hear what I'm saying though that's when you don't reach out to the black community
by going to Kamala Harris who has incarcerated black men yeah but a lot of voters don't view it that
way but look I think I think like I was telling um tomorrow about two hours ago on his show
you know I mean my take here is that you know say he's trying to like make inroads with the black
community with black democratic politicians and obama's refusing to show up for him right which is
wow so he had to make do with like carrot top of of black politicians here Obama is the one that he
needs yeah he no Obama gets it done if he if Obama goes there it's finished that's like eight points in
the can for Nito don't need to campaign I remember like gay thing when Obama when body was like
Obama doesn't care about that.
And immediately overnight, the black community was like,
yeah, there's nothing wrong with gay.
We never really had an issue of gays and blah, blah, blah.
And the fact that Obama is not going.
Obama is showing up for Sayyed either because he doesn't think
Said is definitely going to win or because he, so corporatist,
he doesn't want Said to win and he would rather the Democratic Party lose,
as, you know, lose a mildly progressive candidate than, you know,
and allow the Republicans in.
They don't want that to happen.
I suspect that's where.
Obama. Would black churchgoers vote for a spineless Muslim man? Yes. If he's against a Republican. See, because that's the rub, right? It's not like Say, he's running against another Democrat. He's running against a Republican. And under my model, the Democrats, black Democrats, one main item, who keeps the monsters at bay?
Mm-hmm. That's the key point. The march is eating your lunch right now. Every time you go to the grocery store, the monster's eating your lunch. Every time you go to the gas station, the monster is eating your lunch. The monster is eating your lunch. The
The monster's not in your house.
The monster in this analogy is a Republican Party.
That's what I'm saying.
When I was young and growing up, that was the modest operandi.
Who keeps the monsters at bay?
The monsters are in the other party.
We need to stop the other party.
So you pick whatever random Democrat that's effectively there.
You don't even know who the Democrats are.
It's just, all right, this is the guy.
And you go in but your business.
Monsters kept that bay because I voted for this random Democrat.
That has run its course.
That is severely run its course, right?
But if Saeed is running against a random Republican, how the hell do they turn around to vote for the Republican?
I just don't see it.
They may stay at home.
I don't see them vote for the Republican.
Well, why would you vote for a Republican?
The Republicans want to screwed you.
Exactly.
But I guess my point is it's Saeed is worried about the race.
And he's worried about getting enough Democrats on stats.
It's tight.
It's tight.
Real clear politics average for Sayy is currently has say,
ahead by 2.8.
That's within the origin of error.
That's tight.
And by the way, the last primary race was way closer than they were predicting.
Let me tell you what I would do.
And y'all are going to think I'm crazy for this.
Although this doesn't have as many undecided as that primary race did.
Go ahead, Robbie.
If I lived in Michigan, I'll tell you all exactly what I would do.
If he's watching the show this, what he should do.
I would go, well, he would have an easier time because he's Muslim.
I would go, I would set a meeting with Lewis Farrakhan.
So, okay, here I am.
Lucifer Khan is five million years old, man.
Doesn't matter.
But I mean, hear me out here.
But I'm most Christian, we disagree on a lot.
But we agree on, we agree on these things.
That's the last thing he needs to do is hang out with Lewis Farrakhan.
The economic system is screwing us all.
We started this war for Israel.
My opponent supports more of the same.
Let's take this to Main Street.
And the reason why I've got to reach out specifically to the nation of Islam as a Christian fundamentalist is because they have a ground game, they have organization.
That's why we do it.
Do they still have a ground game, an organization?
I mean, I haven't seen mention of Islam.
I mean, they used to be in Richmond all the time, but one of them used to be Muslim, or black Muslim, I should say.
Do they still do that?
Let's find out.
I don't know the answer to that.
That's what I'm asking.
I know that they have a lot of motor drives and stuff and they do a lot of charitable work, that kind of thing.
So, I mean, they have a game.
They've got more of a game than the Kamala's got.
What does she have?
She has a camera.
By the way, I'm looking at Sayyid's platform and it's worrisome.
Basically, he talks about overturning citizens united.
Ain't going to happen.
Getting rid of the Senate filibuster also ain't going to happen.
Medicare for all.
also ain't going to happen, taxing the wealthy.
All of this stuff is federal.
And, you know, this isn't about that.
This race is going to be about how you can re-industrialize
or replace the de-industrialized Upper Midwest, right?
How are you going to do for Michiganders who have hollowed out cities like Flint?
You know, how are you going to have poverty, opioids,
unemployment, housing, those are the things that people in Michigan are going to be worried about.
And if I were him, I wouldn't be focusing on a bunch of pie in the sky bullshit.
I mean, I'm worried about him.
He can lose this race.
No, I agree, but he's going to the Senate.
I mean, I guess he could put legislation that would try to reindustrialize the Midwest and those type of things.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I think he's a squishy Democrat, frankly.
Yeah, he is.
I can be wrong. I think he's squishy.
And he's not, and he's not, and he's charmless.
Yeah. Yeah. I think he's squishy.
I mean, AOC's got the charm like nobody's business.
Because Mom Dani was very, he's very charming.
Oh, so charming.
I mean, he may dislike him, but he does come across very likable.
He's a likable dude. I mean, come on, he is.
Yeah, he's funny.
He's very likable.
Elseie.
On his city, on his city, driving around town on his city bike with,
the older Jewish guy who was helping him out, Bradlander.
So cute with their little bromads.
Doing the polar bear swim at Coney in his suit,
diving into the public pool on the opening day of summer in his suit.
I mean, right?
Like that works, especially for New York.
It's so appealing.
Maybe Michigan is different.
I don't know what sure works.
Yeah, but I mean, yeah, Sayyed just like, I mean, like, who would, okay,
this would be the beer test who would you rather have a beer with i mean for me it's mom dani for sure it's
gonna be a more a fun much more fun evening please bring you white she's very attractive say
say it's gonna be bringing like all of his y chromosomes i'm gonna be i don't need to be out-bitched
you know all right let's see macadon uh we got to talk about we do have to talk about the
a c a little bit um macadin with all due respect if i'm pissing on the side of the road
and a guy comes up next to me and whips it out i'd be uncomfortable with
or without the conversation.
A little bit.
You seem to be very comfortable with that.
I mean, you know, it's not the first time anything like that's happened.
I'm 63.
If you said, we need a fake alien invasion to unite the empire.
Maybe the aliens can explain to us what a woman is.
Macon, do you think Trump would be impeached, prosecuted, or extradited to the Hague
or anything at all if he nukes Iran?
God, what a good question.
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
He should be.
I mean, that would be the moment
that you would think any random
for one, any functional government
wouldn't have allowed him to do it in the first place.
True.
He would be celebrated as a hero.
No, I don't think so.
No, people would be absolutely appalled.
I'm not talking about the people.
I'm talking about the way that the media
and the establishment would do is that he destroyed
the largest state sponsor terrorism on earth.
I've never disagreed with you anything more than that.
Not even Fox News would be out the door.
Listen, I hope to God I'm wrong.
Even OAN couldn't be there for him.
Yeah.
Like, I think they would be horrified.
They would be horrible.
Nobody joined right.
He would be.
He would be.
One of the war.
There's that, right?
Like, you've already said they'll beat the death.
They don't have the military and have any of the stuff.
They don't even know straight.
We're going to name the state of America.
And then you nuke them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
After saying you're going to destroy 90 million people.
Oh, I think people.
He would be forced to resign within days, I think.
Listen, for the record.
Like I said before, the man should be in prison for even.
threatening it.
Yeah. But I just, I just don't know. I think that the way that the propaganda would go is like
we, we received credible intelligence that Iran was about to nuke Baltimore. And so we and so we
act. I think you would try. Yeah. But that's like saying, do we really believe in running his
nukes now? No. Do we really believe that Donald Trump put the war for nukes? No, do we believe
that Donald Trump attacked Venezuela because of drugs? No, Donald Trump even said in the UN speech,
that well, we're not going to allow anybody
to have a full of the American people can't find
South America on a map. So
this isn't going to resonate with him.
Yeah, but I'm trying to make the point of saying
like he's
he's obviously lying.
And people know he's lying.
So it's not like, okay, he's coming up with a new lie
and people are going to accept the new lie.
They were going to be horrified.
Yeah.
And look, I don't know if that's the moment J.D. Vance is like,
all right, time for you to go. And the cabinet follows
suit because there's probably what would happen.
Defend this.
there would be a race there would be a race like Mike Johnson would be racing to impeach him
Vance would be racing to 25th him the media would be racing to force him to resign
yeah I think the dude wouldn't last a week no question I hope that you're right
the case I'm convinced I'm you're so cynical at this point people would be horrified by that
shit I mean people I don't think people are responding to the speech because they've gotten so
used to Donald Trump saying they don't feel like it's real
Right. They think this boy cry wolf once again.
Yeah.
I hope you all right. I hope you all right.
I hope they're right too, right? I agree.
Because I don't know as a flat fact. For all I know, they can be like business as usual and keep it moving.
True, true, true.
Uh, Andre, damn, Ted turned Robbie into Akami. I knew that was going to happen.
Maybe Bluth Funk, they wouldn't allow El-Said to get to get this far if they didn't know how to bring him down.
I'm not so sure. I'm not that conspiratorial.
Yeah, me neither.
I don't think they wanted him to get this far.
Yeah, I don't think they wanted to win it.
Okay, let's, so the Trump administration just announced
Jay DeVance is in charge of this effort that they're throwing 750,000 Americans off
the ACA insurance marketplaces.
This is the time of the year when people are, you know, re-uping and stuff for their insurance.
This is a, basically, the government claims that some of these people,
were getting premium subsidies that they weren't supposed to get.
Ironically, the way this was working is that some insurance brokers were telling people to
claim that they received more income than they really did.
And so that they would not be, they'd be making enough money not to be on Medicaid,
but that they would then receive the actual normal ACA Medicare,
not Medicare, but the Affordable Care Act,
with lots of subsidies.
So it was kind of like a weird fraud.
Apparently there was some of that.
The government,
Vance says that going after these people will save about $2.2 billion.
But fundamentally,
these are all people who definitely needed health care.
And so, I mean, they may have like, you know,
wiggled around the edges to finagle the system.
But it's not like it's fraud.
It's not like they're making any money.
They're just trying to like, you know,
afford to see a doctor. And, you know, there's some, there's some political risk, I suppose.
But I don't think there's a lot of political risk, but it just sort of adds to the sense that,
like, at the very same time that the government is sending billions of dollars to, you know,
Qatar and the UAE and the Saudis to end Israel, that they don't have any money for us when we want
to go see a doctor. It just seems to me like, well, you know what I, what you just did?
You just created 750,000 new Democrats is what you just did.
The number of people that were removed from Doge, like where they were going after Medicare, Medicaid,
where they were going after Social Security.
They were destroying those organizations.
The number of people that they were firing directly impacted the service that those organizations can provide.
And the service, I got to be honest, was already lackluster because they didn't have enough people to do the job.
Meaning we weren't putting enough resources in those things, for those things to function in the way that they were supposed to function.
but they still did their job to the assistance of millions of Americans that were on the program on Social Security.
Look, it's a bit rich that an administration that is one of the most corrupt on the planet ever from the standpoint of the U.S.
with a president that has been monetizing the White House and is using his kids to monetize the White House, making all sorts of deals based on the legislation that they were pushing out.
It's a bit rich that they're like, hey, there are few poor people who try to get health care benefits.
I don't care.
Yeah, me neither.
The people need that.
Meaning, as you pointed out, this is not, we're scamming to get a $1,200 check.
This is.
Nobody's getting a single penny from this.
Yeah.
Right.
This is just about health care.
And I got to be honest, I don't believe them.
I don't believe them.
I am prone to not believe them when they come out and say stuff like this.
Oh, we're getting rid of nearly a million people from the health care rolls, but because of fraud.
Okay, did Doge really get rid of race, waste, fraud and abuse?
No, Doge ended up costing more money.
Exactly.
I'm trying to make the point of saying this was about...
Not to mention, what the fuck is going to happen to these people?
Already enrollments and the ACA marketplaces are dropping.
And the whole point was that it's supposed to work by using economies of scale, right?
Well, if people are dropping out of it because it's getting too expensive,
and you're kicking people out, you're going to have fewer economies of scale
for a system that's already in big trouble doesn't work well as it is.
Trump didn't want it in the first place.
Well, yeah, no, for sure.
But I mean, these people are going to turn up at ERs.
That's all that's going to happen.
True.
But Republicans don't care.
Like this, I mean, not to go to the abortion argument, but this kind of the whole thing, right?
But they should.
Republicans are really weak on the health care argument.
And it's a little dispiriting to see Democrats completely commits political suicide by failing to, you know, run ads and make fun of Democrat,
of Republicans for not supporting health care.
Because that's popular with American voters.
I have no evidence that these people did anything wrong.
No.
First of all.
Just at none.
No.
And then the Donald Trump, who has just claimed he's going to destroy the world
and who claim that the ballroom is legal.
People are going to need their health care when that,
when that radiation cloud comes back around the earth and comes over the Midwest.
I have a conspiracy.
I'm trying to point out.
The largest liar on the planet is claiming.
that all of these people did something wrong.
So he's kicking him off of a health care plan that he never believed in.
And he tried to give repeal over 40 times.
I don't believe him.
Yeah.
I have a question for y'all.
Let's just say, for example, for the sake of argument,
Trump actually is impeached and that the Senate votes to convict him.
What do you think the odds are that he would convert to Judaism,
move to Israel, and run for prime minister?
No.
Think about it.
You don't think so?
No, but you know what the better question is,
What are the odds that he flees into exile to Saudi Arabia?
Oh, Saudi Arabia did.
Oh, they're not going to take him.
No.
Trump left them in the lurch against the answer.
Oh, that's true.
Yeah, and also keep of mind, no, Netanyahu set up a brand new subdivision
called Trump Heights.
They're on the Golan Heights.
Did he?
Did he do?
Oh, God.
He did.
Back in his first term.
The sweet orange sands of Trump Heights.
I mean, they actually have a big old sign that, welcome to Trump Heights on the occupied Golan Heights.
And somebody's stolen land.
I check it.
Right.
Check it.
I could see it.
I could see it.
I could see it.
Maybe.
Ivanka did.
I mean, she can't have her to Judaism.
Her name is J.L.
Well, I got to be honest, I don't know how long Trump is for this world.
But however long he is.
Yeah, that's a good point.
Does Israel have McDonald's?
I'm very skeptical that Democrats are going to impeach him or convict him in the Senate.
Does Israel have?
Yeah, I think I'm pretty sure Israel does have McDonald's, yeah.
If Israel has McDonald's just, I'll tell you, I can see it.
I can see it.
Oh, Israel has also, that shit.
They used to have Tower Records, sushi restaurants.
Yeah.
Maybe, maybe, but I mean, for one, he would have to get out of U.S. custody at that point,
unless he just flees.
Well, he does have his own plane.
Yeah, but he got to take off of that plane.
Like, meaning he has to be able to get a phone.
Go, go, go, go, go.
right right he once he before he's convicted you know he could get the download save you're gonna get
convicted tomorrow do you go to the state visit go to jerusalem yeah i have decided i always slip out
you know i've decided i wanted to convert to judaism my new name is going to be david i will be your
new king i'll be the best king i'd be the best king since king david i could see it i can see it you know
it's hard to can one of one of the problems with judaism is that it's hard to
convert to and you know in when it comes to Trump I think this would be like a benefit to
Judaism to not have Trump as a member make a fast track it.
Jews have suffered enough right right it's like we had pogroms we don't need to do
this to ourselves we don't need to do this oh my God just got a very generous
