Oh, Lord.
She's just a child.
Let's go.
No.
He's like, look over here, look over here.
That was nice.
That's why you think sequentially.
Hooray, sequentially.
De shreds you, you say.
You know, I love it when you shoot so close to me.
Surprisingly, it's luck.
We all know the order.
It goes whimming at the top.
Everybody else.
Yes.
I am rolling like dog shit tonight.
You mean like dog shit's bad, right?
Yeah.
I guess it depends
your relationship with dog shit, I guess.
Welcome back to Dice Shame.
This is Season 2, episode 186 in high gear.
MVP this week is Marvin.
Because why not?
We love you, Marvin.
Who's Marvin?
All right, shall we play some D&D?
Yeah, let's do it.
Yeah, we're looking at.
Four total of these strange amorphous figures.
They're medium-sized, but they seem to be like almost bubbling metal and flame.
And there's one just directly beside you, Doren, as you turn to look at it,
it creates like appendages out of the side of it and metal hardens on two arms to form twin blades.
and it launches itself at you.
Everybody roll for initiative.
Oh, Lord.
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Touch-chat.
All right.
Whitted, what did you get?
A 17 for Witted.
Nice.
Advantage did not help.
Tamil.
Ten.
Okay.
Not doing great for the rolling of the dikes today so far.
Thanks.
Yeah, just acknowledging your challenges.
Dorn, what did you get?
A 21.
Well, it works into the storyline.
I mean, the guy popped up right next to me.
Wim, rolled a 15.
And last but not least, Mr. Red, Hand and Robin.
Also 17.
Okay, do you want to go before or after Wooded?
I don't know, Witted.
Do you want to go first or second, or do you care?
I'll let you take the initiative there.
Red with a 17.
All right, first in the order with a 23, these monsters.
No.
Yikes.
Yes, indeed.
Oyo, yoy.
The creature opens its maw, which is just a hole in the top of its head,
and points it at the three of you and a gout of flame erupts at you and on you and all around you.
And I need you all to make a dexterity saving throw, please.
Ooh, I have a quick question.
And I probably have a long answer.
Let's hear it.
My question is, did we have a short rest on the way up here?
You did not.
Okay.
Doran, what did you get for your save?
A five.
That's not going to do it.
No, it's not.
Tameel, what do you get?
A 12.
Okay.
Witted?
A 22 for Witted.
Surprisingly, some luck there.
Okay.
Failing the save, Tameel and Doren each take 18 fire damage.
And Witted takes nine.
Witted also has fire resistance.
So I think I'm going to be taking four at all.
Oh, look at you.
Fabulous. Next up, there are three other creatures in this room that are going to take their turns.
The first one takes some heavy sounding footsteps across this grate to get in striking range of both Tamil and Red.
It readies its blade arms and then it attacks.
It's going to try to hit Red.
I also have resistance to fire damage.
Good to know. Thank you.
The first attack is a 23.
To hit me?
Yes.
Yes, that hits.
Nine slashing damage.
Okay.
Second attack is a 19?
A misses.
My AC is 19.
Meets it, beats it.
No, because I have multi-attack defense.
When a creature hits me first, I gain a plus four bump to my AC on subsequent attack.
It's funny because the number of times that you've complained about it.
going the opposite way.
I know. I know.
Yeah. So you, because your AC is bumped, you...
It misses. So I get 23. My AC's 23.
And then the third attack also is rebuffed by your defenses.
15 misses you.
Nice. Yeah. Red takes the first hit, but then is spun around.
And the second one looks like it would land. But Red, who has his bow out, actually brings
his bow up. It's like almost an accidental.
block the way that his multi-attack defense works.
You know, it's not a planned miss because it should have hit him,
and he like accidentally deflects the blade and then steps out of the way of the last one.
This third creature, this magma guardian, flies towards the group of everybody,
lands down on the center walkway,
and fires another gout of flame off towards red to...
meal and
widded
everybody make
a dexterity
saving throw
please
I am rolling
like dog shit
tonight
you mean
I also did
terribly
like dog shit's
bad
right
that's right
I guess
it depends
okay
your relationship
with dog shit
I guess
that's
11 damage
sorry
red what did you
get
10
yeah you fail
11 damage
but
You said you're fire resistant.
Correct.
So you take five.
Tamil, what did you roll?
I rolled a nine, so I will take my 11 damage.
You do take your 11 damage.
And Witted.
22 again.
Again, pure luck.
Okay.
Nice.
Yeah, so you take five, and then you said half of that as well.
Mm-hmm.
Two damage.
Two more damage.
Witted shields are down, by the way, so he's taken actual damage now at this point.
Ooh, fe-do-fee.
The final...
monster flies its way towards WIM and gets right up in melee range and just sort of flexes its scimitars at Wim but isn't able to take an action.
That is the magma sentinels turn.
She's just a child.
Doran, you are up.
Oh, great.
Gotta play D&D again.
Okay, let's, I'm going to go just, I'm going to attack this guy here with my great weapon master fee.
That's going to be 13 to hit.
You miss.
Okay, then I'm going to use my superiority dye here.
I'm going to use my brace.
And that is going to...
It just does more damage.
I get to add the superiority die if it hits.
Hopefully that does with a 23.
You do hit, yes.
Excellent.
Doing...
Get it.
28 points of damage.
Nice.
Well done.
Orc splitter sails through the air and carves a chunk of metal and flame off of this creature's shoulder.
A huge gash appears as you do so.
Magma just flings back up and hits you in the face.
You take five fire damage.
What the fuck?
And then its wound
Like slowly gets dark from exposure to air
Yeah, Dorn, I think in some sort of reaction
Looks at his axe
And some sort of like, you know, you don't want to really hit a metal
weapon against rock.
It doesn't feel great.
Yeah, there's like...
Almost just as hurt by that as he is with the magma in his face.
But it's like...
Thankfully, Ork Splitter is such a beautiful.
beautiful, legendary weapon that she doesn't lose her edge at all.
So don't worry about that.
Ooh, sharp as ever.
That's my turn.
Is that at the end of your turn, Doran?
All right.
Red, you're up.
Red,
reaches into his bag and he pulls out a potion of fire resistance, and he hands into Temeel.
He says, drink this.
We might need it.
Thank you.
Great thinking.
And then I think...
What hell were you on my turn?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Too far away.
And then Red as a bonus action will cast invisibility on himself using his nature's veil ability,
which will magically make me become invisible until the start of my next turn.
Okay.
And I disappear.
Then I will use my turn to move 30 feet and then another 30 feet using my feline agility to give.
to get 60 feet away.
Red will then spin around from his invisible position
and will fire.
Would I be able to roll something to see
how the creature responded to Doran's attack?
What I really just want to deduce was
did the blade seem to deal full damage?
Based on your solid familiarity of Doran
and his battle prowess, it seemed decent, yeah.
Red will attack the one that's currently engaged with Doren that's already been hurt.
Great.
And they have acting already.
Oh, that is a 24 to hit.
Nice.
24 hits.
I'm going to use my Colossus Slayer.
That's going to be 26 damage.
Nice.
Yeah, your arrow flies and finds its target.
There's like a splash of magma, but it does.
doesn't reach you. Red will attack
that same one again. Do it.
23 to hit. Absolutely.
Doing 27 damage.
Nice.
Yeah. It looks like
it's opening its mouth to emit another
gout of flame and the arrow just
strikes it deeply and it
bites off the shaft of your arrow
but it looks like it's quavering.
Oh, hold on.
I'm sorry, I'm invisible.
I'm just going to... You should be rolling with advantage.
I'm going to roll one just in case I got a net 20.
Yep.
I got it in 20.
What?
What?
This one.
It's the new dye, too.
He's like, look over here.
Look over here.
Well, because, you know.
That's sick.
Oh, my God.
That's amazing.
Brad.
Well, I'll just, all I'll do is I roll one die.
I'll roll the second day.
So, so I'm adding seven points of damage to that last one.
Great.
was 34 damage.
Amazing.
And I'm just going to roll just in case.
Let's see.
I get another 20.
It'd be crazy.
Could save someone's life here.
No, but that was also a good roll.
Man.
Good dice.
There we go.
And that is Red's turn.
Nice.
Nicely done.
Thank you.
All right.
Witted.
It's your turn.
Absolutely.
Witted is going to first use his bonus action with a crackling electric hum.
Suddenly his shield reignites.
and he is going to get 10 temporary hit points
as his defensive shields are raised around him.
And he is going to kind of hover
launching a little bit into the air to land
right next to Tamil here, just a little hop
and is going to lower one of his arms
and just give this and fire off a thunderwave
at these two elemental creatures right here.
Ooh.
I like that.
Phenomenal.
Just trying to conserve spell slots here, just doing a simple first level thunderwave is going to be 2D8 damage.
They each make a con save, and we'll find out if they can get thrown back 10 feet or not.
But ideally, I would love to throw one of these guys right over the edge into the gears below.
Oh, that would be amazing.
Give them the gears.
Give them the gears.
Oh, gear twist.
Eight damage coming their way.
Critical fail on the first one.
If they fail, they fail their con-save.
Six on the second one.
Let's go.
Oh my God.
Let's go.
Absolutely.
I mean.
Eight in all.
Eight thunder damage.
And assuming they can be moved, they can like get thrown 10 feet back.
Fuck yeah.
All right.
The one that is directly in front of you, Witted, gets just thrown back 10 feet but
manages to cling to the edge of the catwalk.
The one that's a little bit farther away gets absolutely.
Absolutely blindsided by this wave of force.
And you see it lose its footing as it tumbles off of the cowlop and lands in these spinning gears.
There's just a spray of lava.
And it is just torn to shreds in these spinning cogs.
Brilliant.
To shreds, you say.
Interestingly,
Brilliant.
Despite the fact that these are creatures made of metal and stone and fire, the gears that are spinning inside of the body of the Vonandad seem absolutely unaffected by the body that has fallen and been destroyed in the gears.
This colossus does not give a shit about something as small as a falling dead body.
So yeah.
Wow.
Congratulations.
Nice.
That was awesome.
Great job.
Way to go, Witted.
Damn, Witted, you scary.
See, Witton go, oh, good, good.
Woody goes, yes, the voted dad's okay.
That's the important thing about all this.
Yes.
Wim charges up this chaotic energy between her palms and tries to loose it at this magma guardian,
but at the last second it takes a swipe at her and she has to duck out of the way.
and the energy just gets like rolled off.
And with that, like, Wim is sort of got her back up against the wall here.
She is in melee range with an attacker.
She runs a risk of taking some serious damage if she doesn't get out of there.
She can try to hoof it, but she's going to take some attacks of opportunity.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't think she has anything else that she can do.
So she is going to just, like, put up her hands in a defensive.
stance and yeah hopefully she can rely on her companions next up
Tamil well I haven't been rolling great so we'll see how it goes good luck the seconds after
wittyid kind of knocks these these guys right up in her face away Tamil is still a little bit
stunned because she was getting concerned about like how are they going to maneuver on this small
catwalk and she's like hell
wheted damn impressive and then sees what's going on with Wim and something just changes in her.
She goes into kind of like big sister mode and starts striding over to this magma friend.
And then I would like to attempt to throw this magma thing off of the platform into the gears.
Awesome.
Okay.
Use your inspiration.
A!
Yeah, so I'm going to use my heroic inspiration here.
I'm going to roll with advantage.
and hopefully this will work.
Let's see here.
Oh, fucking yes.
Okay, so I rolled a 14 and a 19, which makes it a 29.
Fuck yeah.
Nice.
And I rolled a 19.
Oh.
So you are indeed the controlling party in this grapple.
Yeah, I think it's nothing fancy.
I think that she is just locked in and feeling so protective of whim right now.
So she just fucking grabs this thing, picks it up, and just hucks it off the edge.
No flare, no nothing.
This is just pure anger and, like, fear for her friend.
And then she'll turn to Wim.
Are you all right?
Wim looks up at you in gratitude.
And she nods and then turns to face the next foe.
Tamil returns the nod and then turns around staring at the fire.
that's in front of her now on the, on the bridge.
And she just kind of like points at him.
That's awesome.
I can picture it so vividly because I have been part of many an adolescent pool party
where someone is trying to throw another person in the pool.
It's very much like that.
Like you are of a size.
Like, Tamil's a big lady.
Yeah, she's got some high to her.
Like wide shoulders.
I'm imagining her like she comes up.
from behind this creature and just grabs it.
I kind of wish I'd given it a nuggy.
Temeel, you do take eight fire damage from interacting with this creature, having grappled it.
It singes your body where you had been in contact.
But we are now another creature down.
But didn't you drink that fire resistance potion?
I didn't, because it takes an action.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, well.
Wait a waste of potion.
No.
Red, you're going to hate this.
I think that Tamil almost absent, not absent mindedly, without looking, she reaches into the bag,
she takes out the fire resistance potion, and she hands it to whim, and she says, drink this,
and then turns around to face the mag.
I would have given it to whim had she been next to me.
Yeah, I had a feeling because you were right.
Yeah.
Delivery.
All right.
We all know the order.
It goes whimmy at the top, everybody else.
Doran and this like lava elemental are face to face across the bridge.
We're like watching this all go down and we just look back at each other.
That was nice
The magmas
That was nice
Doran
This magma creature
Is like riddled with arrows
And having been chopped by orcs splitter
It's on its last
Ousing leg
But it tries to
Get you in the side
With its scimitar arms
It attacks you for 13
Oh
It misses
And with that
Doran pulls
out his axe and with a repost.
Nice.
When a creature misses with a melee attack, I use my reaction.
And attack in return.
Attack back.
I attack back.
20. A 20 to hit?
Nice.
Okay. Doing...
Get him, Dorn.
24 points of damage.
Oh, nice.
Yes.
Ork splitter slides cleanly through its arm and then you swing again and cut it right in half.
Yes.
Nice.
That's what I try and poke me.
That's why you think sequentially.
Hooray.
Sequentially.
In that one moment, as soon as Doran's axe, like, delivers the final.
He looks around for approval from maybe Tamil and Red, you know.
Doesn't see Red.
Red's beaming, but he's invisible.
Yeah, he's invisible.
Great job, buddy.
Oh, damn it.
He looks for that approval from Tameel after watching her throw this.
Yeah, Tiel looking back.
Holy shit.
Everyone's just really bringing their A-game today.
I'm so impressed.
Yeah, yeah.
The final Sentinel moves forward down the catwalk
towards Temeel and Wim.
And it opens up its maw and sprays you with lava.
Rolled Xterity save.
I've been doing real good with these ones.
Oh, actually a good one, 25.
Nice.
Nice.
Nice.
You save and Wim gets...
Covered in love.
17.
So you both save.
Nice.
Against the damage, which is...
Really beautiful.
14 damage.
So we each take seven.
Not bad.
I can handle that.
Okay.
Because I was going to ask if there's any way that I could take her damage as well.
I don't have a mechanical way to do it.
Too kind.
Take mine, too.
Yeah.
Just jumping in front of everybody.
Ow!
All right.
Next up, Doran Iron Fist.
Doran Iron Fist,
invigorated by his most recent success
over this magma monster,
whatever it is,
moves the 30 feet perfectly into position
next to this magma monster
that is currently spewing lava
onto Tamil and Wim.
This guy is back turned.
I'm going to use my bonus action
right now.
Second wind.
And that's going to be a one to ten.
Nice.
So that's a 13 points of damage back up for me.
Excellent.
Great.
It's not healing.
It's damage that he's shrugging off, you know?
Dwarves decide to see there is no healing.
There's either damage getting back or damage dealing.
It's all damage.
I just imagine you like squaring up behind this monster and your second wind is just you like scrubbing
a dirty hand across your nose and wiping away like a bit of blood and snot.
Yeah, I like I like how you set that up.
But there's there's this scene where Doran's like standing behind the monster and he puts the
axe between his toes and then he like spits in both his palms and like rubs his palms and like
gets a good grip on the axe and then winds it up over his head.
Do it Doran.
Timil sees this and is trying to distract the magma guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then he's going to attack using great weapons.
throw you in the void too.
You're ridiculous looking.
Oh, a natural 20.
Yes.
Doran, Doran, Doran, Doran, Doran.
That's a good, that's a good, that 20.
8 plus 10.
13 plus 18.
31.
13 plus 18.
31, yes, that's correct.
The calculator said it too.
Not trust.
31 points of.
because she's a woman.
I already had it up.
Alex?
She said it with a question mark.
I am very sleepy.
You don't want to both be wrong.
Phenomenal.
Yeah, that 31 sounds right.
Good job, Alex.
That was your first hit.
That was your first hit.
31.
Doran.
Yeah, does it kill it or no, but it does splash back and gives you one point of fire damage.
Ha, Doran laughs.
Oh, man, a natural.
One.
Really?
You got a 20 and then a one.
Frit, fail.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
I'm re-rolling.
I'm re-rolling.
Sorry.
I got excited.
I'm re-rolling.
19 to hit.
20 points of damage.
Wow.
Beefy.
20 more points of damage.
Yeah.
Nice.
Org Splitter lands another heavy chop right between where this thing's shoulder blades would be if it had a skeleton.
Probably doesn't.
It's just going out.
Mighty hit.
palpable and you take five points of fire damage.
Oh, spewing on me.
It's splurging all over me.
All right.
Uncalled for.
Friesing.
Gross.
Come on.
Red.
Red is no longer invisible, but seeing this thing is probably going to get tossed into the gears at a moment.
He pulls back his bow and he fires.
Oh.
He pulls back his bow and he fires.
Get him, red.
That's going to be a 12 to hit.
No, you miss.
Bummerino.
My favorite arrow.
Oh.
That's better.
23 to hit.
Yes.
I'm going to do Colossus Slayer damage.
Yes.
Nice.
Okay.
Oh, 30 damage.
Yes, red.
What does it look like when you kill the final magma sentinel?
The arrow sings over the shoulder of Doran and strut.
strikes the thing directly in its throat as magma spews out the back, like burbling down like lava pouring down a mountain.
And Temeel and Dorn both see the wooden shaft of the arrow just burn and fall.
They could see kind of a hole to each other for a moment before the creature just falls off the edge and into the gears.
Dorent takes the moment and drops the whole acting, turns to Redis his eye.
You know, I love it when you shoot so close to me.
Yeah, well, you know, you make it easy.
Tamil leans around Doran so that you can just see her kind of like peeking out and just gives you a thumbs up.
And then Wim leans around also behind because like the three of us are in a perfect line.
Oh, hey Wimmy.
Great job, everybody.
I told you there'd be people in here.
Doran leans forward.
Leans on his knee, you know, like kind of leans forward on his knees.
He says, oh, guys, I've taken a bit of a bit of a beating.
this getting in here.
It sort of wipes blood
from his lips. Hearing Doran
kind of point out his own
moods and knowing that this is
like Doran isn't one to just kind of
without, you know, without cause
discuss any kind of
weakness or anything. Tamil
will put her hand on his
shoulder and I will cast
cure wounds at a third level.
Nice.
So this will be a little bit back.
So that's 22 back.
Wow.
Oh, wow.
Thank you.
Good job.
Yeah, Dorn doesn't necessarily realize it at the time.
He's like, I really appreciate your support, Timmil.
Makes me feel a lot better.
You place your hand?
Yeah, just patting on the show.
Are you sure?
I'm just, I'm just, I'm just feeling a little bit winded and I think I, oh, you know,
actually, now that you say it, I'm not feeling as bad as I just was.
Hold on a second.
Wah, wow.
Gives you a look.
Ah, you did something there, didn't you?
Thank you. Thank you very much.
You know, I can't help but feel like reading the names of the Patreon supporters
is becoming longer than the episodes themselves.
So I'm going to try something a little different here and use some magic.
We would like to thank our Patreon supporters.

So I'm gonna go lie down
We'll see you next episode
Bye bye
We have to do like 10 minutes on
How phallic these enemies look
Yes
Do they have dicks
Do they have butts
What's coming out of the butt
They got hard
You guys live in a butt
You guys are like poops
My family, my maiden name is phallic.
We respect you immensely, Joe.
Rad.
Rap.
Spell different, but sounds the same.
Nothing but respect.
Thank you.
But respect.
Yeah.
One of the things that I have never been able to properly figure out how to measure by myself,
just by looking at things, is cones.
Typically a cone's going to be like one square and then two square.
It's basically as wide as it is long.
And God, I'm really setting this up.
Like a square.
So girthy?
You say girthy cone?
Chode cone.
Very short.
It won't hit bottom, but it'll scrape the hell out of the sides on the way down.
I mean, Nick, well done.
Sorry.
Y'all, I'm having a lot of fun, but this is like the sloppiest episode that we've done in a little while.
