Starting point is 00:00:01 Dismiss these goons. And we can agree that that's bad, right? Back I say. Hey, come back. So, I suppose, we'll just keep fighting. This dwarf is on fire. Half an hour I can come back with the finger. The business side of this will need to end.
Starting point is 00:00:12 Not yet. Malaki. I don't know that I have a great answer for this right now. So all that out there, all those tapestries, that Malaki. He seems to like it. It's a quandary. Welcome back to Dyshame. is season three, episode nine, God Complex.
Starting point is 00:00:42 MVP this week is Emperor Dillis, who wrote on the Discord, Someone helped me. I've finally caught up with Dyshame, and I'm happy I can follow the pod as episodes drop, but I also haven't felt this feeling of distress since I caught up with one piece. Do not be distressed, Emperor Dillis, for today is Dyshame Day. I know that feeling well, though. You are this week's MVP. All right, shall we do this?
Starting point is 00:01:07 Yeah, let's place them be indeed. Woo. Does anyone else have like an auditory activation? Like when you hear something specific, you're like, ooh, it's time for the thing. Or like, so I just, I just cracked open a crispy Diet Coke. Oh. And that, and like the bubbles in the can to me is such a specific noise that it does, like, my brain.
Starting point is 00:01:45 You want to assassinate the president? It may be that. It's an active. It's a proper activation phrase. You mean like one of those Russian like people that are brainwashed? Sleeper cells. The Mediurian candidate. Also, the sound of like a desk bell, they're like ding is very work coded to me because we used it in the restaurant that I worked at in my 20s.
Starting point is 00:02:11 And now in the hospital, when I'm on break at Toronto Western, I put the bell in the window and I hear it when I'm like on break. In the middle of the night. So if I need to wake you up, I just know I can ring a bell. That one little. It's like your inception. It's the thing that brings you out of your inception sleep. It's like an activation. An insane amount of cortisol just rushes into my blood system or whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:40 wherever it rushes. Imagine you're like lying in bed and all of a sudden there's like a bicycle going by outside and it's like ding and you wake up from a deep sleep. You're like blood sample. Yes. That's what I mean. Oh, someone's bleeding. Or that. Blood transfereating.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Yeah. I mean, yeah, I probably have those. I don't. None of them. For sure. But I mean, every time I hear that I think of Twitter. Or is an ICQ, which is now defunct. Oh, ICQ.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Yeah, ICQ and MSN. I used to have that activation with the sound of like a dog collar being shaken. I knew like my dog was up and you'd go outside. I was just going to say right now if I am in a good mood, the sound of Huck's little toenails kind of click, click on the ground makes me happy. If I am in an annoyed mood or a bad mood, that sound makes me irritated. It deepens whatever mood you're in. I know that feeling.
Starting point is 00:03:36 It's the salt of auditory signals. It just enhances whatever is currently happening. It's the same with kids. Kids are like that all the time. You're like, oh, this is lovely one moment. Then you're like, this is the most annoying thing I've ever heard in my life. That's just how they... I will also say car horns drive me crazy,
Starting point is 00:03:55 but I don't think it's in that same activation way where there's like a memory associated with I just hate the sound of car horns. You should listen to that song by Too Many Zoos called Carhorn. That's a good song, actually, though. They make it into a song. Do you want me to be unhappy? No, because you want me to be... No, no, no, no, but by the end,
Starting point is 00:04:14 because what it does is it starts off with the annoying car horn, but by the end, it's a song. So now, when I hear a car horn, I hear that song. So it's changed. Isn't that like re-association or something? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's changed the way I think about it. I'll give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I wonder if there's a song or a really enjoyable thing that involves an annoying barking dog that's just next door. Every time I'm in the driveway, all I can hear is this annoying, like, behind the window. You're a musician, Alex. You can make a song sampling that annoying dog bark. Yeah. Specific bark.
Starting point is 00:04:51 And that way I can make everybody else suffer with me. What's the dog's name? Do you know? Annoying barks a lot. Yes, I do. But I'm not going to say it. You're not going to docks the dog? Whoa.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Do you don't want a dog dogs? I guess if I'm talking about my neighbor's dog. There's a lot of dog detectives at them. There's a lot of Ace Ventura-esque people who will be upset that you've doxed your dog. Dogs. Well, no. The dog's name is Mabel, I think. Maple or Mabel?
Starting point is 00:05:22 Mabel. What kind of dog? I don't know. A little. I thought you were going to say, what kind of name is that for a dog? Fluffy thing. We're not dog people, Nick. We don't know the difference.
Starting point is 00:05:29 This is the thing. Like, Mabel's a great name for, in my opinion. Obviously, everyone can have their own opinions. I like, Mabel's a great name for like a bulldog or like a Frenchie. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Well, it's like, it's a medium size. Or like petunia.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Those are good. Some sort of sheepy. Like, I think it's, um. Misnamed. They have short curly hair. I don't know. Must be like part. Poodle mix.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Poodle mix. Pooh. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe it's a shit poo. Maybe it's poop poo. A poo pee. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Another, I have another happy sound. Another sound that makes me happy. Oh. What is it? Stop doxing dogs, Alex. It's time to return to more wholesome content. When I walk Huck early in the morning these days, there's chickens and there's roosters. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:16 And in my neighborhood, there's one rooster that I can only imagine is a million years old. Oh. And is like, it's like it's time for him to retire, but no, he's still at it. He just sounds like the most sick rooster. I love it. I love it. That's awesome. I know who he is, but I love.
Starting point is 00:06:39 I mean, if we're just talking about sounds that make us sort of happy, our daughter is at the age now where obviously she's like talking a lot more and she's forming sentences and stuff. But her like, like the usage of the word the tense is all fucked up. And I love it. So like, you know, I'll be like, oh, you're being sassy or, you know, or she'll say something to me like, Daddy, you're being me. And I'm like, no, I'm not. And she'll say, yes, AMR. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Like, yes, I like. She's like a jazz musician with language. Or. Yes, M. R. She loves the idea of whistling and she knows what a whistle sounds like, but she can't do it with her mouth. So she'll go, what does she do? She'll go, ooh, who. Woo. Because she's so tiny, her little speak is like high.
Starting point is 00:07:22 So she just goes, ooh, whoop. She's like marching in the room. Be like, Henry, ooh, whoop. Come here. You got a t-shirt or put her fingers in her mouth, you know, like before. Oh, she's still doing it. It's fucking out. It took us so long to figure out what the fuck she was doing.
Starting point is 00:07:40 She just go, ooh, woo! We're like, what are you doing? And then we realized, oh, she's whistling. It's very horrible. It's very funny. Clever. She really is adorable. Yeah, she's good.
Starting point is 00:07:52 She's almost three. Oh, my God. I can't probably. Oh, man. Oh, man. 20 days. Oh, wow. Boy, time flies.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Time flies when you're having young. Speaking of having young, should we play some D&D? Yeah, let's do it. I'm so ready. All right, Doran, you're up. You are burning dwarf. Roll 1D4 fire damage, please. Looks so badass, just on fire.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Too soon. So you took seven burning damage. You took six from the fire aura, and now 1D4 from just the regular flames on your body. Three. All right. Three more damage. So that's another three.
Starting point is 00:08:31 So 16 total fire. There's a big pool of water right next to you. Big thing of water. Thanks. That lays me with a level 100 points. Boo. Still in the triple digits. I know right.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Beefy boy. Doren cries out. Back, back, you fellow beast. Back, I say. And he swings his axe. Wildly, I will add, very wildly. Good. At the creature.
Starting point is 00:08:57 And I'm going to use my savage attacker this time. Which means that once per turn, when a hit target, I get to roll my damage dice twice and use either roll, not both. So do I hit with a 23? You do. Then I'm going to see. You're attacking the fire elemental, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:19 19 points of damage. Nice. Which then also hits the second creature with 19 plus 11. So okay. That's a crit. That's a crit. Is it not? I do.
Starting point is 00:09:33 But is that? That's a critical hit. Oh, I add both my damage dice. Shit. Damage dice twice. Okay. You're subtracting another 16 because that was a critical hit. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Good job, Doran. Nice, Doran. And that's only your first attack. That was only one attack. Shit. Oh, man. Yes. Real quick.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Here we go. That's going to be 26. Nice. Against the fire elemental, correct? That's the same fire element. Elemental. Yes. Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Twelve points of damage. Nice. Fabulous. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah. Kool-Aid man?
Starting point is 00:10:07 Spicy. And you do nothing to extinguish the flames. Oh yeah, you're on fire, bro. I guess, was that, is that a movement? If there was no water adjacent to you, you would need to use... Stop drop and roll. That's an action? So if I stop, drop, and roll, does that create an attack of opportunity?
Starting point is 00:10:26 Probably. So a burning creature takes 1D4 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. As an action, you can extinguish fire on yourself by giving yourself the prone condition and rolling on the ground, but the fire also goes out if it's doused, submerged, or suffocated. So I'd rule that just by moving into the water, that is sufficient to douse. You're going to take an A.O.O. from Nix, but not from the fire elemental. Unless you squeeze between them. Dorn attacks the fire elemental and then dies into the bounce. Nice. I'm going to try to make an attack of opportunity against
Starting point is 00:11:04 you with Nix. That's 20 to hit. Miss. Ah! Hell yeah. You're too fast. Dwarves on fire move like... That's a good band.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Dwarves on fire? This dwarf is on fire. We are dwarves on fire. Tamil, it's your turn. So I will roll my 1D4 of damage. Yes. Okay, so I rolled one. So I'll take one more fire damage.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Yeah. And then Tamil is going to squeeze on through the two. with them and land herself in the water as well. Nix already took their reaction to do the attack of opportunities so they don't have another one in the barrel. Thank you, Doren. And then before she does anything else, she's going to look at Nix and she'll say,
Starting point is 00:11:47 all right, you want us to prove ourselves. What exactly is our wind condition here? Do we have to kill your minions? Do we have to kill you? Do we have to disrupt this tree, chop it down perhaps? What exactly is going to impress you? I need to determine that you are in a position. You have very cleanly not answered my question.
Starting point is 00:12:08 So I suppose we'll just keep fighting, or should we take things down a notch and try to settle this some other way? The blazing fire that is their body sort of dims a little bit. And it seems like they begin to reconsider what's happening. All right, enough. You talked him out of it? Well, not yet. We're working it out. Alex, give a second.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Roll persuasion. Because I have something called charming presence, when I'm taking any kind of influence action in combat or to a hostile creature, I don't roll with disadvantage. So I'm going to roll this straight. That was an
Starting point is 00:12:50 11 on the die for a 24 total. Fuck. You're persuasive. She's just going to make the D.C.'s higher. Stop telling her that. Yeah. You're like, cool. DC 30. 29. I can see now that the four of you are very powerful creditors.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Yeah. We can talk. Thank goodness. Right. Doran, you still got a little something in your eye. Yeah, yeah. Come on down. Calm down, everybody.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Calm down. Red starts walking forward. Dorn sort trudges out of the film. Dismiss these goons. Nick's nods and snaps their fire. fingers and the elemental disappear back to from Wednesday came. I really
Starting point is 00:13:40 wish you wouldn't have made me get wet and burn all my stuff. Look at these. He holds up his beard and it's like sin. I'm sure it's just a hazard of your occupation. He burns his beard all the time. Don't worry about it. Yeah, don't, don't pay it too much mind. To Mill will wave kind of an idle
Starting point is 00:13:56 hand and cast mending on, I guess Doran's beard first and then maybe whatever else is burned. There you go. Thank you. It's a wig. It's synthetic. You may pass judgment. Glad all the, you know, disguises have dropped. Hi.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I don't know if you remember us from a few seconds ago. I'm red. This is Temeel and Doran. Are you ready to talk? Please. This facility is only used to bring my brethren into the material plane. Ah, ha, ha, ha. there's the catch, Doren says,
Starting point is 00:14:36 turning to the other three. Yeah, as Nix ascends, it, like, extends a limb and a piece of the iron root tree, like, lops off, and Nix, like, or the form that was Nix, like, shakes the branch once, and, like, a little rain of, like, fingers
Starting point is 00:14:55 just gets, like, torn off of the branch, like, just got rid of the bits on it. And it's, like... He's trying to escape? Yeah, it's, like, Moving up. Hey, come back. Uh, oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:15:09 And red fires an arrow at it. Holy shit. Okay. Yeah, roll to hit. That would be a 17 plus plus plus. Oh, shit. All I really want to do was banish it for one round. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Just to give us a moment to think. Yeah, you can do that. So it just needs to make a charisma saving throw. Okay. That's a natural too. Perfect. So it just disappears for a second. There.
Starting point is 00:15:30 I mean, look, we had the advantage. I might as well take it, right? One round, but we can think clearly. He won't come back mad. He's still beguiled, I think. Is that a god? Do we kill a god? I don't want to kill a god.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Fuzzleton. Whim signs, what is even happening here? I don't know. Let's get it to talk more, maybe. It seems like, okay, quick idea. It seems like it was bringing its light brethren in through the bodies of the people who dropped off their bodies to be preserved. So maybe it was waking up bodies and slipping their own people inside?
Starting point is 00:16:02 Does that make sense? And we can agree that that's bad, right? We don't want that to happen. Unless they're refugees from a plane of absolute torment. Yeah, I don't know. I think what's happening is they're instead of bringing back the true souls, they're bringing back their brethren, their bright light brethren into those bodies, yeah. But they're not dark shadows, so I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:24 With like a light explosion sound, the creature comes back into the material plane. Sorry about that. We just need a second to think. I think before you escape, we'd like to talk. We're happy to lay down our arms to discuss. Don't shoot me again. Okay, come on back down for a sec. Let's talk.
Starting point is 00:16:44 I did want that tea. Yeah. Descends back to the ground holding the sprang. I think this is the weirdest thing we've ever done. Of all the things we've done together, this might be the weirdest. Yeah. Yeah, I think it's up there. Yeah, right up there.
Starting point is 00:17:02 But, you know, flying robot across the skies. Listen, I... I'm saying this is weirder. Right. So, so... Your brethren, who are they? Why are you taking people's money? Can you just explain what is going on?
Starting point is 00:17:18 I care not for material gain. Ah. I get it. The orb is a ruse, and Finian is an idiot. My kind has been using him for years. Your kind, you said you don't have physical form. This is your light form.
Starting point is 00:17:41 I will have to find a newly dead person to inhabit. Yes. Would one of you like to donate your vessel? No, thank you. Not yet. Oh. Okay, I think I understand. This was a relationship of mutual benefit.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Phineas stayed in the dark. presumably, and got money, got to get the ego. You know, like many religious leaders, was duped into becoming perhaps the figurehead of your quote-unquote religion, and you on the back end got to what? Bring my kind into a plane of existence that is not plagued by war. See, refugees, I told you. The spot on call. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I think I'm starting to put together a picture here. So all that out there, all those tapestries, that Malaki. He seemed to like it. And Finian has no idea about any of this. He thinks that he's performing a service. He thinks everything is above board. Please don't tell him. It will hurt his feelings.
Starting point is 00:18:57 A little less concerned about that. Why the whole ruse at all? There are constant wars, there are bodies to be found across Féroon, up and down the sword coast. Why, why the front? As I am, I will not be able to enjoy the fruitful lives that you will. I must find a show. Oh, you can't come back in a headless body. I get you.
Starting point is 00:19:24 But there was no... I mean, I don't want to split hairs here, this feels a bit like... But there was nothing in the literature about their... The cause of death needing to fall within certain parameters cannot be decapitated, cannot have a hole in their chest. No, but it's the bodies. They're growing fresh bodies. It's the bodies that they needed. They're just inhabiting them.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Basically, it's an organ harvesting plant. They just have people donating the organs. Yes. I get it. You could allie yourself with a king, a warring king, and have them all of their soldiers. I'm not going to give you ideas. I don't know why I'm a plane-storm here. No.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Go on. Stop. Timiel, stop. You're given too many ideas. It's taking notes. All right, let me ask you this. How many of your brethren have come back through all of them, isn't it? It's all of them.
Starting point is 00:20:13 As of last night, 3,912. Okay. Um, interesting. That's admirable. I, well, it's a big number. It must be looking up to you like some sort of savior. Yeah. Are they all devout to you?
Starting point is 00:20:38 No. Oh. So what's their, what's their modus operandi? There is a place where my kind go when they have come to this plane. Where we can be. I got to say, Temeel, this is a weird gray area. A lot of these people out there are donating pieces of their body. You know, they're taking money.
Starting point is 00:21:01 The money is an issue. The fact that sometimes. the bodies are being taken over by your brethren as they enter the world? Is that correct? They're not just passengers. Every time. Every time. So there's no
Starting point is 00:21:16 souls. So the soul is the scam. The bodies are real. It's the soul bit that's the lie. I get I get it. Finian's going to be so bummed. Well, okay, okay. Finian is going to have to learn to deal with disappointment. I mean, look, the people don't in the body
Starting point is 00:21:32 parts, they're dead anyway. So I'm not. I'm not too worried about them, you know? Like, for instance, you know, Miss Frost, you know, out there, you know, her dad, he died. He didn't come back. Yeah. And the person, and the, it's one of your light brethren that took over his body two months ago and he's just out there.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Yes. Sometimes, my brethren were impatient to come through. So I would awaken a body before their true vessel had died. Right, right. Okay. I have no problem with refugees finding their way into a safe place. But the lie, the money, the expectation of these poor people who think that they are sustaining themselves, that they'll be able to come back to their families, you know, to their livelihoods, to their lives. That is still an issue.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Yeah, maybe make it cheaper. Like 10 gold. To be like rolls her eyes and it's like throws up her hands I mean I mean yes obviously I get what you're coming from But you know it's it's a bit of a lie anyway right like like people sell magic rings all the time that say Your brain can be trapped in it afterwards and you know I'm not mad at the shopkeep He's just trying to make a living I guess I don't know It's not a victimless crime but the victim like I guess it's this
Starting point is 00:22:55 I caught off my pinky it goes on that tree and a new red gets formulated and with a different soul in his body but I still might not die until I'm 110. So, you know, it's no skin off me except for a pinky. Would you like to donate your... No, God, no. I already lost enough pieces of myself. This is a lot to absorb. Doran? Thoughts?
Starting point is 00:23:15 Doran's thinking if there's any pieces of person. Whim snaps her fingers and then points at herself. What? She signs... If this tree can keep people alive, maybe that's something I can use. God, you're right, Wim. I mean, look, this tree clearly has powers, powers beyond our understanding. Maybe it's exactly what we need to help you, Fred says, looking at Wim with kind eyes.
Starting point is 00:23:55 She gives kind of a hopeful smile back. Look, Nix, this whole thing is a real fuck up, if I can be blunt. It's a quandary. Quandry, great word, Doran, two points. That word of day calendar I got you is really helpful. Something there needs to change. I don't know that I have a great answer for this right now. Okay, so, Nix, you're obviously involved in this.
Starting point is 00:24:19 All this money that you take that Finian, you know, where does it go? Like, is it just sitting in a big vault back there, are you investing in the business? What's going on? To be honest, I never really looked into that. I'm not into material wealth. Red turns to Temeel. I mean, I'm not seeing a lot of money going on here. If this is some sort of place that's storing money,
Starting point is 00:24:45 you know, maybe it could serve another purpose at some point. You know, there's a lot of communities that the giants have ruined. Nick looks around and they're like, fair enough. How much does the tapestry cost anyway? 10 gold The place is like, I'm giving it like a church of Scientology vibe in my head. Like they're clearly getting a lot of money
Starting point is 00:25:07 and doing something with it, but it's not really evident like what exactly. Here's what I'm wondering, Tamil. If we took this money and convinced them to maybe put it towards some of the communities that have been affected by the giant, somewhere good, you know, told them to stop taking fingers off.
Starting point is 00:25:27 people. You know, that covers my side of the front end, at least. Honestly, I think Finian could use some guidance. Are you able to regenerate these bodies without the fingers? No. How about this, buddy? You grow a new body
Starting point is 00:25:43 from a finger, right? Red points the tree. You take this finger down, you grow a new body, right? And you put one of your buddies in it, you send them east. Yes. What if, after that guy comes up, you cut off the finger, and you put it back on the tree? But then he wouldn't have all of his fingers. Right, but that's kind of the point.
Starting point is 00:26:01 So here's what I'm thinking. You just pick one and you just use it over and over. He gets a far off look, as much as you can tell in this, like, blazing hot face. Then we would only need one. Yeah. Exactly. You might be on to something there red. maybe this is a more sustainable business model.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Yeah, I mean, look, what you lose in individuality, you gain in product. And let's be very clear here, this will also need to, the business side of this will need to end. You cannot take money from people on a lie. You have to... Reds are like, looks at you, Timio, like, like, look, look, look, here, these are adventures, right? Like, and Red Lake pulls Timiel's side. It's like, okay, look, these are adventurous, right? How many times have we taken gold from a crypt?
Starting point is 00:26:57 These people are just paying money from money they're presumably taken somewhere else. Let me ask you this. If we had a little company set up that would take donations of 100 gold from adventurers and give it back to the communities ruined by the giants, ain't that kind of a good thing? I mean, I would rather the people give the money willingly, but at this point, it might be time for us to extricate ourselves from this particular situation. Let them figure it out as long as they're not continuously defrauding the people of Waterdeep.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Fair, fair, fair. Whim signs, I'm getting hungry for lunch anyway. Yeah. Touche. Touche. I mean, this is good. We did a little investigation. We did a little fighting.
Starting point is 00:27:37 We're negotiating with a... Earned a meal. Yes, definitely earned a meal. Mazdick and chicken wings on the menu tonight at the troll skull. I'm excited. Well, how about this? We'll leave you to figure out how you want to proceed with your regeneration. If you do take money,
Starting point is 00:27:54 Red's suggestion, putting it back into the community, reinvesting it in some way. Seems like a very noble thing to do that you should consider. And then perhaps we can look the other way and keep our mouths shut about this whole operation if we could count on you and your kind sometime in the future. All right. Yes, it's a deal. I am amenable to that. Huh. And the creature, like, gives us. itself a weird high five and then looks at you with expectation. All right. Sure, Red
Starting point is 00:28:30 high fives them. How is your hand wet? Ew. But here's the other side of it. You got to destroy all these fingers. I'll get you a new finger, okay? One that won't mind being cloned a whole bunch, okay? I'll bring it back tomorrow. But you got to get rid of all these people because Timil's right, you know, there's a woman out there that is expecting her father to come out there. And if we say, well, your father's body is in the east and there's someone else in it, she's going to be pretty upset. You'll find someone who is consenting to be cloned.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Yeah, in fact, maybe we'll work it out with Finney and that they get some of the money left over, you know, a $10 a month money towards them to be cloned 3,000 times. It's not a bad deal. I will need a body as well. Of course. Of course.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Yeah, we'll figure it out. I got plenty of body. It's 2 o'clock. I get you a finger in half an hour. Half an hour I could come back with a finger.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Hell, I get you a toe I can put little nail polish on and everything. It's fine. Dorn's like going through his pockets like maybe I got one. Surely I have something. I looked.
Starting point is 00:29:32 I looked at my inventory because I was like I thought I had a giant's toe. Cool. Yeah, yeah. But then I was like, you know. It's a hair. Nix nods.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Giant's hair. I do have a cloud giant's hair. Hair won't do it. No. We'll find you a toe. A finger. A finger. Perfect one. don't worry.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Two hours. Do they have to be off somebody living? Agreed. I guess actually it shouldn't be off someone that. That's good. Okay, we'll figure it out. Anyway, nice meeting you. Yes, what Timil said.
Starting point is 00:30:01 When we need you, et cetera. It was my pleasure to engage in combat with you. Yeah, you're pretty good. I have to admit, I almost killed Wimmy. Quite enjoyed that. I'm glad we didn't get too injured. Sorry about that. And Wim's signs like, no problem.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Oh, you really pack a punch. Just before, like, the other start walking out, I picked your dorm, and be like, so where do you keep all that gold that, you know, you had? Dorid, perhaps we should cut our losses at this point. Chicken wings, Dorins. I'll make sure they're all flats for you, your favorite. Come on. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Think about it. And with that, you take leave of the Iron Root Thanatomancer and make your way into the Water Davians. afternoon. You know, I can't help but feel like reading the names of the Patreon supporters is becoming longer than the episodes themselves.
