Starting point is 00:00:00 So you got to figure out how to detoxify your body. Yeah. Yeah. What's some methods for that? Believe it or not, sauna. Not that sauna though. Yeah. One without mold.
Starting point is 00:00:13 Infrared sauna to be exact. Eating foods that are high in antioxidants. Blueberries. Blueberries. All the berries. Anything that ends with berries is high in antioxidants. The master antioxidant is called glutathione. All right, guys.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Founder of Liquivita, Sam Tejada here. 32 locations? Actually, we're at like 37 now. 37, wow. Congrats, man. We just sold a few more in Houston, New Jersey,
Starting point is 00:00:40 Lake Jersey Shore area. You got to get Vegas in there. I know. That would be nice. Yeah. There's a market here that would like that kind of stuff. Awesome. A lot of entrepreneurs out here.
Starting point is 00:00:49 So our manufacturing pharmacy for a product that we developed that we sell to over 4,000 doctors is based out of Vegas. Wow. Yeah. There we go. But you started in Florida, right? Florida. Fort Lauderdale.
Starting point is 00:01:00 From one location. And you used to work for one and then you started your own, right? That's how it progressed? Yeah. So I actually on my days off from the fire department every firefighter always looks for like a side hustle you know to supplement their income on their days off because we typically do like 24 hours on and we're off for 48 hours um i was working with a company called cenogenics headquartered out of vegas also. And they were one of the pioneers in alternative medicine. So this is back in like the mid, early 2000s. And, you know, that's where I kind of came across the opportunity,
Starting point is 00:01:35 saw that there was a need. Now they catered to some of the most affluent people in the world. You know, some of the very, very affluent people, which obviously in South Florida, we got a lot of those people and, you know, started getting people asking about these IV drips that really didn't exist in Florida. So, you know, one thing led to another. And my first location, I partnered up with the doctor who had a beautiful facility. And I took a nice size room and started the company out of an existing office.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Wow. So self-funded? Self-funded. Damn. Started it with $500 in my back pocket. $500? 500 bucks, man. That's how much the room was?
Starting point is 00:02:14 No. So, you know, when I decided to get into the business, I was like, all right, I'm on a fireman salary, which is not much. How much did they make? At that point in time, I was making probably like $55,000 a year. Damn, and you had to work 24-hour shifts? 24-hour shifts. That is not good for you.
Starting point is 00:02:32 So I'm like, how am I going to start this business? Now, growing up from nothing, you make stuff happen with nothing. So I pitched the idea to this doctor. So this doctor was a chiropractor and he had a beautiful facility. He was a chiropractor that implemented integrative medicine. So he had a medical doctor at his chiropractic facility. So the facility was actually called East West Physicians where his whole goal was integrating Eastern and Western medicine together. So he had stuff like acupuncture,
Starting point is 00:03:07 hydroclonic therapy. He had pain management with a doctor for like, you know, the PIP injury, you know, car accident cases that he was doing, physical therapy. He had a laser tech. So all kinds of different modalities. So he had like most doctors, they usually have a few rooms that are just collecting dust. So he had a really nice sized they usually have a few rooms that are just collecting dust. So he had a really nice size room in the back with all of this physical therapy equipment. And he didn't have a physical therapist. So I told him, I said, hey, doc, you know, got this room back there. Let me get it.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Don't charge me for rent. You provide the medical doctor. And I'm going to start offering IV vitamin therapy. Right. So I'll start offering IV vitamin therapy. I'll give you 20% right off the top and you have to do nothing. So for him, he's like, I have to do nothing. All I got to do is give you this room and allow you to use the staff that's already here. So yeah, it says that I'll manage it and I'll physically be here and I'll do the IVs. I'm a firefighter paramedic, so I can do IVs. So for him, it was like winning the lottery. For me, it was like winning the lottery too.
Starting point is 00:04:11 That's a smart barter, man. I've never heard of something like that, but that's smart. Yeah. So, you know, with that, my focus was the little bit of money I do have to invest into this business. I want to put it in a place where it's actually going to drive revenue. It's going to bring new clients in. I don't want to spend it on utilities. I don't want to spend it on staffing.
Starting point is 00:04:32 I don't want to spend it on paying rent. I rather put it like directly into marketing or building up the brand. And that's what I did because I didn't have any of those expenses. So, and that's one thing that I tell a lot of new business owners. It's like work on your MVP, that minimal viable product. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:04:48 Don't go crazy and spend all this money. Figure out how you can do it at the least cost possible. So you can start bringing that revenue in, get some cash flow, and then start putting it back into the business to grow it. As a B2B marketer, you know how noisy the ad space can be. If your message isn't targeted to the right audience, it just disappears into the noise. With LinkedIn ads, you could precisely reach the professionals

Go to linkedin.com slash social to claim your credit. That's linkedin.com slash social terms and conditions apply. LinkedIn, the place to be. Yeah. IV therapy,
Starting point is 00:06:14 man. One of my guests showed up on an IV bag. Really? Yeah. Gordy Gronkowski. Wow. I think Rob's brother. I think he was drinking the night before.
Starting point is 00:06:23 So I was just going to ask that. Yeah. We filmed the episode while he was on an IV bag. Wow. Yeah. That stuff works for hangovers brother. I think he was drinking the night before. I was just going to ask that. Yeah, we filmed the episode while he was on a knife he packed. Wow. Yeah. That stuff works for hangovers, though. It's crazy. It's unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:06:31 You can party all night and then next morning take it. Within 30 minutes, you're back to normal. Actually, within 30 minutes, you're probably going to feel better than what you did before you started drinking. Why? Why is it so good? So you get the hydration. You get all your electrolytes. Right?
Starting point is 00:06:46 Can't you just drink that though? You're not going to get the proper absorption. You know, your stomach will only absorb X amount of what goes in there. It's just like vitamins that you take orally. The reason you got to take it two to three times a day is that it takes time for your body to break it down, to absorb it. You know know a lot of times you're
Starting point is 00:07:06 either just urinated out or or you know goes through your fecal matter so when you go intravenous it's going directly into the bloodstream so it's at the cellular level so you're getting a very high absorption of it not only that but if you try to go into like aggressive dosages orally your body's just not going to absorb it you know liver will be too overwhelmed right well you know what ends up happening is uh you'll end up getting nauseated you'll get severe diarrhea i'll give you an example vitamin c the max you could take orally is about two to three thousand milligrams and if you take more than that severe nausea diarrhea you're gonna start throwing up because your body just can't handle it. Now, when you go intravenously, we can go all the way up to 100,000 milligrams.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Damn. Big difference. That's 50 times. Right. Because you're bypassing the digestive route. So now, obviously, we don't do that on just the regular Joe Schmo. That's like, you know, you got a whole different therapeutic outcome when you're going to aggressive dosage deaths for like cancer patients and stuff.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Wow. So that would help with something like a disease, like a high vitamin C injection. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It has a certain mechanism of what it does in the body. You know, once you reach a certain high level of vitamin C, we call it ascorbic acid is the chemical name. It works as an oxidizer in the body. So, you know, obviously most people know vitamin C as being an antioxidant, but at a very high concentrated level, it's an oxidizer. So it oxygenates the cells. Right. I just got my blood work and my vitamin D was low. Is that something you inject in people? We do not intravenously because it's a fat soluble vitamin, but we do the intramuscular injections of the vitamin D.
Starting point is 00:08:49 But, you know, we do blood work on thousands of people. And I'd say about 95% of the patients that come in are vitamin D deficient. Whoa. And it's sad because vitamin D has such an important role in your body's biochemistry right it regulates all your hormones i mean it helps build up your immune system right producing more white blood cells from the bone marrow so vitamin d is critical now we get vitamin d from the sun but you know we're not in the caveman days where we're outside butt naked. We're fully clothed.
Starting point is 00:09:26 We're inside the majority of the day so we don't get vitamin D. We're fully clothed in polyester. Even worse. Even worse. Don't get me started with the chemicals and the toxins. Oh, my gosh. It took me three hours to throw out all my polyester. I had so much in my closet.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Almost everything I had was polyester. And even some of the cotton is bad too. It is. And, I had was polyester. And even some of the cotton is bad too. It is. And you know, your skin, we got medications that you put, transdermal, right? Your body absorbs it from the skin. It's the largest organ in your body. Yeah. Sunscreen, lotions, shampoo, conditioner. All of that stuff goes directly into your bloodstream. Jeez. All the fake ingredients in there. So toxins is actually one of our biggest niche. So my business partner, who's the chief medical officer at Liquivita, Dr. Christopher Davis, is actually by trade an interventional cardiologist.
Starting point is 00:10:15 And he's taking a deep dive into toxins where we actually do a blood test. It's not available here in the US. We actually have to send that out to germany and it tests for over 900 different toxins wow now check this out the unique part of this test it'll actually show you the toxin in your body that you have the level of it and then it'll actually show the dna adduct that it's connected to specific the gene that it's connected to causing a gene expression change jeez right and i'll give you an example of what a gene expression changes so we all have tons of genes in our body so we have one gene that's called a tumor suppressing gene
Starting point is 00:11:01 should always be on right so if you start to like develop a tumor that that tumor suppressressing gene should always be on, right? So if you start to like develop a tumor, that tumor suppressor gene basically doesn't allow that tumor to grow. So if something happens where that gene expression is turned off, right? Now that means an actual tumor can start growing and become into cancer. So you have genes for all kinds of stuff in your body. So if something like a toxin, you know, goes on that gene and, and, and change the gene expression. Now that's where you start getting all kinds of disease developing. So these toxins, this is what's killing people. I mean, I have a magnitude of physicians, you know, that, that are accredited and board certified that will tell you that the root cause of disease is toxins from food and environment. Holy crap. Absolutely. And
Starting point is 00:11:53 it's all over our environment. Dishwasher pods, laundry pods, cleaning. I just hired maids and I literally had to buy them the cleaning sprays because they were using like obviously the cheapest one, you know, for the house and that gets everywhere. That's a toxin of its own? Yeah. So I had to buy natural ones. It was like five times the price, but who knows? So, you know, the trick is like people's like, well, you know, I got to live toxin free. Impossible. You can't. You have to learn how to be able to live around the toxins, how to detoxify your body, how to actually upregulate
Starting point is 00:12:26 your detox pathways in your body, making sure you're taking the right antioxidants, the supplements, eating the right foods. So you could actually naturally detox those toxins out of your body. So they don't just sit there because a lot of these toxins will sit in your bones, will sit in your fat cells, will sit in your intestines, like heavy metals, you know, heavy metals. When heavy metals when you have a high level of let's say like mercury you can't just detoxify it by doing like chelation and stuff like a lot of those toxins will actually sit in your fat cells or even inside of your intestines so you have to do certain things that are going to aggravate those toxins to really make
Starting point is 00:13:00 them into that free radical to then put the chelating agent and then getting rid of those out of your body. Yeah. I actually had some elevated heavy metals, which was surprising because I don't eat sushi anymore or fish. Wow. Do you know which metal it was? It was a longer one. I'll show you it, but all of them honestly were kind of high. So it could be mold. I'm not sure. There was, they just found black mold in my sauna at Lifetime. Oh really? So it could have been that because I go in that a lot. So you got to figure out how to detoxify your body Yeah. Yeah. What's some methods for that you'd say so believe it or not sauna Yeah one without mold
Starting point is 00:13:39 Infrared sauna to be exact right You know eating foods that are high in antioxidants blueberries blueberries a lot all the berries anything that ends with berries high in antioxidants you have your different vitamins like vitamin a you know alpha lipoic acid uh ascorbic acid vitamin c the master antioxidant is called glutathione so that's definitely something that you want to talk about one so well even with these supplements now, you got to have a reputable brand because if you're not third-party testing, apparently there's some heavy metals in those too.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Right. Crazy. A lot of things you got to look out for. Yeah, and that's where you got to make sure you put your due diligence into it. Make sure it is third-party tested. Making sure that they're following CGMP standards to make sure that this is a good quality product and it has exactly what they say it's supposed to have in it. Yeah. I've had to adjust my mind frame around that. Cause you know, when I would shop for
Starting point is 00:14:33 supplements on Amazon or whatever, I would buy the cheapest one, but now I've shifted it to like, okay, is it third party tested? Let me see the reviews. Yeah. And I think a lot of people try to cheap out on supplements, but it's not the move. Yeah. And you know, the reason why on that also is it's not regulated by the FDA when it comes to supplements. So that's where it gets a little bit tricky. So you have to kind of make sure that these companies are regulating themselves, you know, governing themselves the right way, you know, following some of these steps to make sure
Starting point is 00:15:02 you guys- That's surprising they don't regulate supplements because- Yeah. Put whatever you want in there and sell it on amazon oh yeah i mean it's been known especially like i used to be really big into the bodybuilding world and a lot of those supplements that you'd see on a lot of these supplement stores full of fillers all kinds of stuff you know and by the time they find find out exactly what's in there you know you're like two three three years in from people just utilizing this stuff every single day and putting it in their body. I mean, who really knows? Look what happened to Ryan Garcia. He was taking some supplement and there was steroid in there, according to him.
Starting point is 00:15:35 So who knows? Crazy. So NAD injections. Is that still a hot thing? Because I know a lot of people are taking that or used to take that. It is. It is. It is. NAD is, by me, it's not everybody should take it though, right?
Starting point is 00:15:51 Depending on what's happening in your body. If you have too much going on, it can make certain things hyperactive in your body and make you feel worse. But it does have a tremendous amount of benefits. I do it myself about two to three times a week. I'm not doing the IV drip. and make you feel worse. But it does have a tremendous amount of benefits. I do it myself about two to three times a week. I'm not doing the IV drip because that takes a while. When you do like a 500 milligram IV drip of NAD, you're sitting there for about four hours.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Holy crap, that's way too long. It's a four-hour drip. And if you speed it up, you feel like you're going to die. Really? Yeah. How come? So the way your body absorbs it, right, it would go into your cells way too quick, right? Where it just, you know, anything that's too quick that has to be regulated at a certain level, you know, you're going to get certain results that are not going to be conducive. Got it.
Starting point is 00:16:43 But it's even some of these vitamins that we do intravenously, you know, you can't just give it into like a fast push. You know, if not, you'll get a tremendous flush. You can get a headache. Your body can detox too quickly, right? With the NAD, it's something that you have to do slowly as an intravenous strip because it's going right in the cellular system. Now, what I do, I do the subcutaneous injections.
Starting point is 00:17:06 So it's a lesser dose, but I do it right in the stomach, small little needle do i do the subcutaneous injections so it's a lesser dose but i do it right in the stomach small little needle two to three times a week got it but for me the one of the main reasons i'm doing it is i'm really big into cognitive health same like for me it's i want my brain to be sharp as a tack so i do a lot of different modalities that feed into that you know i'm doing my n, which is a precursor to NAD. So it helps open up the pathways. I do a nasal spray that's called Synapsense. Wow. So the nasal spray Synapsense.
Starting point is 00:17:34 So I'll tell you a story behind that. My previous chief medical officer who was a partner, unfortunately passed away a handful of years ago, Dr. Willicks, who was the chief medical officer of Synagenics. He was a world-renowned former heart surgeon. a handful of years ago, Dr. Willicks, who was the chief medical officer of Cetagenics. He was a world-renowned former heart surgeon. So Dr. Willicks, I saw him prescribing this nasal spray to all these top CEOs. I had no clue what this nasal spray was.
Starting point is 00:17:56 So I asked him, I says, Doc, what is this nasal spray? I know these patients you're prescribing this to, and these are like top-tier guys, you know? He said, oh, you don't want to know about it. I said, no, I want to know about it. He said, well, if I tell you, you're going to have to start taking it. I said, all right.
Starting point is 00:18:11 So I ordered it, or he prescribed it to me. And so this nasal spray has NR, which is a precursor to NAD. It has RG3, which is the root extract of ginseng, pharmaceutical grade, and then it has the methylated version of B12 in it. And when I took this nasal spray for the first time, everything was in high definition. I can hear better. I can see better. I can speak better. It was unbelievable. Until until this day five years later i take it every morning i get that exact same effect what yeah i need to hit you up for that yeah wow yeah i want you to try it yeah i'd love to film that episode that'd be cool so it's um
Starting point is 00:19:00 so i do that i also i'm a big fan of dave Dave Asprey's, he's got an MCT oil. That's called the Brain Octane Oil. I've seen that one. Yeah. That gets your brain firing as well too. So I do that. You know, infrared sauna, exercise, grounding, all of that stuff feeds into it. So, but yeah, cognitive health.
Starting point is 00:19:23 That's one thing. It's like, if you could keep your brain functioning and being as sharp as a tack man oh man oh huge have you gotten a brain scan i haven't at that i haven't done i'd be curious to see yeah i just got one last month which one did you do dr amon okay i'm in clinics and i learned a lot so i'm all about optimizing that i have uh well they can't diagnose you but they said i probably have adhd based off the scan Dr. Amen. Okay. Yeah, Amen Clinics. And I learned a lot. So I'm all about optimizing that. Well, they can't diagnose you, but they said I probably have ADHD based off the scan. Really?
Starting point is 00:19:50 So. Do they give you a treatment plan for that too? Yeah. Yeah. I've been on it. This is actually one of the supplements and the other ones over there I take. But I'd love to try yours. I'm going to try your Asprey's too. I didn't know he had one.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Yeah. Yeah. He's got the brain octane oil. It's an MCT oil. You know, it's. Yeah. Yeah. He's got the brain octane oil. It's an MCT oil. Yeah. You know, it's… Yeah. MCT oil comes from the coconut oil.
Starting point is 00:20:09 So they extract like the main parts that give you the benefits that you need. And what I do is I put it into my coffee. I do his bulletproof coffee. Well, now it's danger coffee. Yeah. It's danger coffee. So I follow… I don't actually use the coffee per se.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Like I got an espresso machine. So Dave Asprey might not like that. I know. So what I do is I make sure I put the grass fed Kerrygold butter inside my coffee. I also put the heavy whipping cream, which has no sugar. Raw though? The heavy whipping cream? Yeah. The organic one. You know, refrigerated, organic, heavy whipping cream which you know has no sugar raw though the heavy whipping cream yeah the organic one okay you know refrigerated organic heavy whipping cream no i haven't done
Starting point is 00:20:50 the raw i don't even know where i'd have to go to like to a farm or something yeah and it's they're probably banned on social media yeah that'd be interesting so because everything else is pasteurized right and then you refrigerate it and then i put put the MCT oil in it, you know? And when I have that coffee in the morning, it's just like, you feel it. Yo, I can't wait to try that. Your brain is like, it's just going. Yeah, because sometimes I wake up with brain fog. So that'd be good to have on those days.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Yeah. That's my hardest thing. Like, if I ever do have brain fog, it's so frustrating. And I can't even imagine someone who goes through some of these you know chronic illnesses like dementia Alzheimer's like that's got to be very frustrating especially if you're like a high-performing individual that uses their mind all day to like strategize and that's got to be tough it's got to be tough I used to really fear Alzheimer's but the more people I talk to guys like you it seems like it's pretty preventable. It is. Like before it was just thought it was genetic, but I think you can really prevent it now. Toxins. Most of the times, I mean, we got patients that have Parkinson's, Alzheimer's,
Starting point is 00:21:56 that were running this test and seeing exactly what's in their body that's causing these gene expressions that are developing into, you know, these type of chronic illnesses and diseases. And we're reversing it. What? That's don't even know tremendous results with a lot of these patients oh crap yeah that's super exciting because it was also previously thought you couldn't reverse alzheimer's Parkinson's right you know i don't want to you know obviously say that we're curing it we'll get banned for that. Or reversing it like that. But at the end of the day, we're seeing positive results, right? We're seeing improvements,
Starting point is 00:22:31 which is something that you don't see too often with a lot of those type of diseases. Definitely not. They're labeling those as like stage three diabetes now, right? Right, right. Yeah, it's an insulin issue in the brain. So Gary Brekka talks about it a lot now. Yeah. You know? They need that test in the US, right. Yeah, it's an insulin issue in the brain. So Gary Brekka talks about it a lot now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:47 You know? They need that test in the U.S., man, but Big Pharma probably won't allow that. You know, it comes down to, like, the validation and, you know, who's going to be behind it. And, I mean, you hit the nail on the head with the Big Pharma. You know how that works. Those Germans are smart, though, man.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Especially when it comes to, like, biohackinghacking alternative medicine they're ahead of the game germans switzerland you know austria australia you know a lot of the the studies on like um peptides and all this other stuff you don't you can't you don't find them here you find them in a lot of these other countries they're reviewed, and the results are unbelievable. Well, the FDA banned a lot of peptides here, right? They sent out that warning statement, which was very odd, right? Because they sent out that letter about all the different peptides,
Starting point is 00:23:37 but no one was harmed from it. So it's like, why are you guys banning it? Well, because we can't prove that there's actual positive results on it. You got millions of people taking it, feeling fantastic and speaking about it. You know, it's doing something. You know, you got tons of doctors that are prescribing it. You know, doctors are not going to go through medical school and, you know, treat these
Starting point is 00:23:59 patients and prescribe stuff if it's not working. You know, if that is the case, maybe we should focus on the educational system that we have for these doctors, right? But if you have, you know, tens of thousands of doctors that are prescribing these peptides and, you know, thousands of pharmacies that are producing it, well, something's got to be working. You know, if we don't have actual controlled studies, a lot of these doctors, you know, they have case studies. You know, let's take a look at the case studies. Let's go ahead and run some research and take a lot of that quantifiable data and, you know, put some research and publish that.
Starting point is 00:24:32 You know, that's got to be valuable at some kind of, you know, level, right? So what's the difference there with case study? And then you said, what was the other study? Well, you know, you got control studies. Control study. You know, that appear reviewed and stuff. The case studies is more like what's happening in your clinic with your patients. You know, you're tracking all that information and then, you know, you're documenting the
Starting point is 00:24:51 improvements and stuff. So those are case studies that you're doing out of your own clinic. So in the alternative medicine space, because a lot of the stuff that you do, that people do in, you know, alternative medicine or integrative medicine or functional medicine, whatever you want to call it. There's a lot of names out there, even precision medicine, is a lot of stuff we do is off-label. So we run a lot of our own case studies. And what people have done, a lot of the physicians in our industry,
Starting point is 00:25:21 is they're sharing a lot of that information, a lot of that data. And they work off of that. You know, what's working for one physician, they share the information with other doctors within an association of some sort. And, you know, that's how we figure out how to take things to the next step. How to further develop a lot of these treatments that we're doing. I love it. I was on your site. You offer sexual health treatments.
Starting point is 00:25:47 We do. What is that about? Yeah. Well, listen, man, if you're having issues with sexual health. I'm not. No, not you, not you. But if someone's having, you know, issues with sexual health, that can cause a whole nother set of issues.
Starting point is 00:25:59 It can cause issues with your mindset, depression. You know, it's a part that everybody needs. can cause issues with your mindset, depression. It's a part that everybody needs, male and female, any walks of life, sex life is an important part. So we offer it for both males and females. We have multiple different technologies that we utilize for sexual health. We have different medications. Most people like with men,
Starting point is 00:26:23 when you talk about erectile dysfunction, erectile dysfunction is typically related to a blood flow issue. So we know about Cialis and Viagra. Yeah. Works on the cardiovascular system to increase the blood flow. Now, does that fix the root cause? No. Right?
Starting point is 00:26:42 So we got to figure out why there is a blood flow issue you know is there plaque or calcium buildup in the vessels so we have certain technologies like we have one technology it's a low frequency shockwave therapy um it's known as gains wave so what it is it's um the low frequency shockwave therapy it's like a small little jackhammer and it sounds like a jackhammer like you hear it yeah and andta-ta-ta-ta-ta. Yeah. And what they do is they use that technology right on the penile tissue. And it helps break up a lot of that plaque buildup causing that blood flow issue. Wow.
Starting point is 00:27:15 And helps generate new vessels. So we do that with other modalities. You know, utilizing a penis pump. Those work? What's that? Penis pumps? Oh, yeah. Absolutely. I used to see ads for those,
Starting point is 00:27:30 but I always thought it was just like some scam or something. There's a penis pump called the Kaplan penis pump by Dr. Kaplan. And it's probably one of the most reputable ones out on the market. And you know, there's a whole protocol behind it. It's not, you just grab the penis pump and you just start pumping whenever you want, you know so uh the penis pump goes in conjunction with the other treatments that we offer okay and you're doing the penis pump every single day twice a day damn yeah yeah it's like a workout oh it it is that's what it is it's a workout you're working out your penile organ. But the purpose of the penis pump is bringing blood into the penile organ, right? And the benefits that you'll see from it is increased blood flow. You're going to see bigger in length, bigger in girth. Wow.
Starting point is 00:28:15 All of that. Yeah. So one of the things we do also is the P-shot. So the P-shot, we do platelet-rich plasma where we take your own blood. We spin it at a certain RPMs. We take the plasma that's rich with platelets, which are the growth factors, and we'll inject it directly into the penile tissue, right? And that has the regenerative properties that helps, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:38 regenerate vessels, make it, you know, bigger, bigger girth, longer. I've heard of adult doctors using on getting an inch actually yeah yeah and then if you really want really good results then you do the um uh the the exosomes is what we call it stem cells yeah stem cell derived product and that's where you're really going to get the the growth factors i've heard that works on women too with tightening yes so we do the oh shot for women um and then we have the femi wave which is also the low frequency shock wave therapy machine i actually did a whole podcast on sexual health with an expert that i brought on board on my podcast oh nice and we went into
Starting point is 00:29:16 detail and so we do the o-shot where they inject the the prp and or the exosomes directly into the clitoris. Jeez, that sounds painful. They numb it, you know, but better sensitivity, increased climax, wetness enhanced, you know, so you're going to get all these benefits from it. Wow. Yeah. Interesting, man. Yeah. People need to look into that because I know erectile dysfunction is like really high percentage
Starting point is 00:29:43 these days. It is. It is, especially with all the different hormones they inject into the foods. Now, people have to keep in mind there's a difference between decreased libido and erectile dysfunction. Libido is the actual thought of sex. Sex drive. It's your sex drive. So it's like back when you were 18 years old you know you're just
Starting point is 00:30:06 thinking about all the time right yeah so so um you can't get them confused they're two whole different things and they're both important so when you talk about sexual health usually your sex drive is more based it's related to hormones so if you have low testosterone then you'll have low sex drive interesting yeah so raising testosterone will just raise sex drive right okay yeah i had like a 520 the first time i took it last year and now i'm at a six 608 or something would you consider that high or low that your free testosterone is a 608 that that's within normal range uh we want to see people trend more like at the 900 levels wow 900 yeah damn what are you up um I think last time I did mine I was a little bit above 900 I was about a thousand holy crap
Starting point is 00:30:53 that's one of the highest I've heard this this is the thing you can't be too fixed on the number you got to go based off of how you feel and how your body's performing and if you go too high with testosterone what can end up happening is is you go through a process that's called you aromatize. Right. And when you aromatize the testosterone, it converts into estrogen. Oh, gosh. Now, us as men, we don't need high levels of estrogen. Yeah. Right. That can cause a whole nother list of issues.
Starting point is 00:31:17 So you can start getting, you know, gynecomastia, which is man boobs, man boobs. Yeah. Right. They don't look sexy. You know, you, you, you start taking care of your health so you can go to the nice resort or pool and take your shirt off, you know? So imagine now you're taking care of your health and all of a sudden you go out there and you got tits, you know, you don't want that. So, so, uh, testosterone is important. Um, but you have to do it the right way. And this is why we put so much emphasis of making sure you do the blood work before you even start any kind of hormone optimization program
Starting point is 00:31:50 and making sure that you're actually doing follow-up blood work. You got to have your own data. Data is extremely important when you're talking about health and wellness. That's why I take a blood test every year. Some people do it even more often than not. Yeah. Do you see hormone issues on blood tests, or how do you know if you have hormone issues? So we do blood and also urine hormones. But yes, we do the blood tests where we're looking at not just that testosterone,
Starting point is 00:32:13 we're looking at all your different hormones. We're looking at thyroid, we're looking at IGF-1, we're looking at growth hormone levels, we're looking at testosterone, progesterone, everything to make sure your hormones are balanced in the right direction got it are you seeing with because you've had thousands of tests are you seeing a lot of hormonal issues these days absolutely in men and women or both oh both and the crazy part is as the years go by we're starting to see it in in younger demographics wow yeah people in the early 20s jeez and you know back in the day you would only really see that in the early 20s for like you know young guys that got into
Starting point is 00:32:51 bodybuilding and were doing like anabolic steroids and stuff and obviously you're going to have issues with your hormones because you messed them up yourself but now you're just starting to see it from you know people getting uh you know these different toxic stuff in their body that's affecting the hormones you know the hormones they're injecting into the foods are causing hormone imbalances uh you know with females they're putting females at a very young age on this birth control yep it's hormones almost half the women are on it right and it's scary it's scary what they're doing so and um you, I did a whole conversation about that, which she speaks publicly about it, Jen Seltzer. You know, she's an OG influencer.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Yeah, she's OG. I remember her. Yeah. So she's a dear friend of mine. And we've been working on that with her because she got off of the birth control. And when you get off of something like that for so many years, it causes a whole nother list of issues that you have to deal with trying to upregulate your hormones again. So, you know, she's been very kind to speak publicly about it
Starting point is 00:33:56 because there's so many other women that follow her that are going through the same issues. You know, these issues with these birth controls are now causing all kinds of infertility issues. Where now women can't even have kids. And they're spending a tremendous amount of money going through the IVF process to try to conceive. And it's something that we have to build more awareness behind it and allow people to know, maybe you don't want to go on all
Starting point is 00:34:25 these hormones you know it's not a natural thing these birth controls it's really not a natural thing yeah and now the big one's ozempic and i know that's a peptide so i'd love to hear your opinion on that one actually i love it you love it i love it as long as it's done correctly right you can't use it as a crutch now the semi-glutide which is ozempic is not my favorite one right the the one that's going to be most effective and less side effects is going to be the trisipatide i've taken it myself saw tremendous results i went from 215 pounds fat right to down to 172 pounds lean and solid 40 pounds and i get so 40 40 pounds on the scale but now when you do a true body composition analysis on the dexa scan you'll see that i
Starting point is 00:35:14 actually lost like about 60 pounds of fat and put on 20 pounds of muscle whoa yeah so it builds muscle too it doesn't not the drug okay but if you do the program correctly, you can build muscle while you're on it. Got it. Now, if you don't do it correctly, you can lose not just fat, you can lose muscle weight. Which you don't want. It's horrible. You definitely don't want that. You need muscle, right?
Starting point is 00:35:37 So what we do is like when people come into our wellness center, the first step we take is we get a body composition analysis, right? I don't wanna know what your total weight is. I wanna know exactly what your body's made up of. So like, if you just get on your regular scale at home, that's just telling you total weight. Well, what's weighing that? Is it your nails, your bones, your fat, your visceral fat? What is it?
Starting point is 00:36:02 So for us, is you get on the DEXA scan. The DEXA scan will tell you how much adipose fat you have, which is more of the fluffy fat, like cortisol fat. It'll tell you how much lean muscle you have. It'll even tell you how much lean muscle you have in your left leg versus your right leg. And then the one that I love the most is how much of visceral fat you have, which is the fat that lines your organs, which if you have a high percentage of that, that's indicative of like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and all kinds of other stuff. So for us is we get that and now we're going to trend you, whatever program we put you on, we're going to trend all of your data. So DEXA scan is one of the data points. Blood work is another data point. We do the VO2 max, which is looking at heart health, lung health, and cellular health, right?
Starting point is 00:36:47 Cellular health, we're talking about your mitochondrial health, which we also look at that through the blood work, your mitochondrial potential. So all of this data that we collect, we get the baseline to see how your body's performing. And then as you go on these different programs, like a weight loss program with Ozempic, we're going to go ahead and trend that. You're going to come in sometimes on a weekly basis to do your weigh-ins on our technologies. And then as we start going through it, you'll come in every four weeks or so,
Starting point is 00:37:18 and then we'll start trending at all of your different data points. That's incredible. I can't wait to get mine. I'm going to do it at your clinic next month. Yeah, we're going to have to document that. That'll be fun. Yeah, it will.
Starting point is 00:37:28 I've never done one like that. Yeah. That comprehensive. Yeah, the VO2 Max, that's part of our, we call that our Enlightened Living Program. So we take, this is not like your typical doctor's office. We're taking a deep dive. It's what we call looking under the hood, right?
Starting point is 00:37:44 So we talked about the dexascan the vo2 max we also have our rmar which is the resting metabolic rate so you're basically on a fasted stomach right and then um we put you on the technology which is a mouthpiece over your face and uh what you're doing is for about 15 to 20 minutes, you're just breathing in and out. And what we do is we have the ability to see how many calories you're burning at a fasted, rested state. Wow. So what do I do with that data? I can go ahead now and tell you exactly if you're working out enough or if you're not working out enough.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Just from that? Just from that. Holy crap. Now I can actually tell you how many macros and micros you need to intake in every single meal you have throughout your day, you know, to increase your overall performance or whatever goals we're trying to reach. So for me, data is everything, man. And the data points that we have at the clinic are one thing, but I tell people you should have consistent health data every single day. Apple Watch, Fitbit, the Whoop.
Starting point is 00:38:49 I use the Oura Ring. I got my Gucci Oura Ring when I did the collab. But I use the Oura Ring. Sleep data is extremely important, right? That's where your body's recovering. So your health data is everything. Plus, you can kind of figure out like when things are not going in the right direction, you can refer back to all your data and kind of pinpoint,
Starting point is 00:39:09 okay, well, this is probably what's affecting it. Right. So since you love data, you must love Brian Johnson, man. He's crazy. He's crazy. He's the data king. He is. He is. You know, he's one guy that I want to actually meet and talk to.
Starting point is 00:39:21 I know so many people in the industry. You know, I've built some very strong relationships with the top people in the industry. I've built some very strong relationships with the top guys in the industry. We speak publicly, a lot of us. And Brian Johnson is the one person that I have not had the chance to actually meet and talk. He's new to the scene. He is just, I think, not even a couple of years. He's coming on in a couple of weeks. So I'll try to put you in touch with him. Yeah. The one thing I want to share with him is the whole test that we do out of Germany. You know, I see how he's finding out about all of the crazy biohacks.
Starting point is 00:39:51 This is one that he hasn't done. I know he hasn't. I think that'd be a very useful one to track for him because you said 900 different markers. 900 different toxins. Yeah. I'll definitely run the bomb. It actually, and he's big into the mitochondrial health. This test actually tests through your blood your mitochondrial potential. Your mitochondrial cells are the most important cells
Starting point is 00:40:10 in your body. They're your energy production cells. You know, when you have disease, your mitochondrial cells are going to not be performing. They're going to be weakened. You know, oxidative stress comes from the mitochondria. It's like once he sees this test, he's going to be amazed.
Starting point is 00:40:24 What do you think of those biological age tests he takes um they're good you know um you got to kind of figure out depending which tests you take you got to figure out uh what what are the data points they're utilizing to give you your results you know early, what they were doing is they were collecting the data from people taking the tests and utilizing the average to give you your results. So it wasn't as accurate, but the more people that fed into that system, you know, you get more accurate results. So you just kind of have to do your due diligence and see the different tests that are out there. There's so many now, you know, there's a lot of these different epigenetic tests. Yeah, I took Tali,
Starting point is 00:41:05 which I don't know. It was just a cheek swab. So I don't know how they could disertain that I was 22 biologically from that. But who knows? Yeah, most DNA tests and stuff are usually,
Starting point is 00:41:14 you know, saliva. Yeah. Oh, they are? Yeah. Damn. Well, dude, it's been fun. I can't wait to check out your place in Miami, right?
Starting point is 00:41:21 Yeah. Yeah. Fort Lauderdale, Miami. We got tons of locations. 37 locations. We'll link your site below. Where else can people find you? So yeah, Instagram, Sammy underscore Tejada, or they could just Google me, Sam Tejada. Perfect. And all the great fun stuff will pop up. Yeah. We'll link below. Definitely check out one of the centers if there's one by your city, guys. Thanks for coming on. Awesome, brother.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Yeah. Thanks for watching as always. See you tomorrow.
