What's happening here? And he still thought it was Jake. And then after like 30 seconds, he goes, wait a second, wait a second. You're not Jake. He's like, wait a minute.

Starting point is 00:02:03 If you're not Jake, you're not logan i'm not ksi and i was just like oh dude that was so funny yeah the logan one is like 50 pounds underweight that's a yeah logan got a little bit juicy in the wwe right yeah he keeps talking about how he needs more traps bro a tricep more triceps oh you're trapped i'm yeah slow you're fighting uh you're fighting the fake logan right? Yeah, man. Yeah, March 16th in Tampa, we are actually going to be knocking the fake Logan Paul out, just like Tristan Hamm did in the UK. So what he did in the UK, I'm going to do in the USA.

Starting point is 00:02:34 Damn. I didn't know Tristan knocked him out. He's come on the pod before, actually. Oh, really? Yeah. We just had them debut over on Misfits, and Tristan Hamm won by KO. And now next month on Hype Boxing, I believe, March 16th, he'll be, I don't know when this podcast is going to be released,

Starting point is 00:02:48 but March 16th, 2024, he'll be fighting Fake Logan. Obviously, the world has wanted to see Logan Paul versus Jake Paul, right? They've talked about it. They've teased it. So now you're going to get the closest thing. I think it's going to go dumb, stupid, viral, to be honest, man. I'm super looking forward to it. And I'll actually be commentating the whole event.

Starting point is 00:03:03 That'll be lit. What's your record right now in fighting? Right fighting right now man honestly um i just got into the whole boxing scene yeah and uh i've been a street fighter for pretty much all my life i grew up with a lot of older brothers you know i got older brothers so if you got older brothers you know the whole thing man you get get your ass beat a lot bro yeah i want to toughen you up so um yeah i've done street fights for pretty much all my life, man. But in my boxing career, I've only got one actual fight, influencer fight. That was with an official celebrity boxer. And now we're about to do our second and our first debut for hype boxing.

Starting point is 00:03:37 Fire. We're excited, man. Gets scrappy out there in North Carolina, huh? Oh, all the time, bro. All the time. I've never been there. Have you? Yeah, yeah.

Starting point is 00:03:44 I've been out to North Carolina. My dad's from there, so I've been out there a few times. You're originally from South Miami, though, right? Yeah, I'm originally from Miami, but I've pretty much been raised in North Carolina all my life, ever since I was a child. How does it go when you show up to Miami? Because obviously Jake's very close to there. Jake lived there for a while. How did you originally start getting recognized as Jake? Just because of the Miami thing or what? No, actually the whole getting recognized as Jake thing started

Starting point is 00:04:09 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pretty much one night, long story short, one night, man. I used to be a little preppy boy. I used to do my hair to the side. You know what I'm saying? Looked like I went to a private school, all that. But my boys were getting on my nerves, begging me

Starting point is 00:04:26 to come out to the clubs, man. Just come out with us and just chill. We know you don't really party like that, but just come on out. And I was just like, alright, man, alright. So I got ready one day after work, got a shower. I just did this right here to my hair, man, and threw my hat on and walked out and went to the clubs. I walked in one club and it was

Starting point is 00:04:42 like 15 people that walked up to me immediately. That's when Jake was about to fight Tyrone Woodley the first time like 15 people that walked up to me immediately that's when Jake was about to fight Tyrone Woodley the first time so they kept calling me Jake and I'm like yo who the hell

Starting point is 00:04:51 is Jake Paul like who is this guy went to another club because it was a whole strip of clubs and went in there man took pictures of like three or four people

Starting point is 00:04:59 I'm like okay like this is kind of odd you know what I'm saying like who is this guy, bro? This is kind of odd. I'm also just like his brother or something. Oh, you didn't even know him at the time?

Starting point is 00:05:09 No, I didn't even know him, bro. Wow. I've known him for like, I heard of him from Disney. You know what I'm saying? When he was on Disney Channel and stuff like that. But I never really kept up with Jake's YouTubes and all that kind of stuff to actually be, to try to impersonate him. You know what I'm saying?

Starting point is 00:05:23 So, yeah, it's just crazy how it started, bro. I thought it was insane. And then I wound up getting so many people to call me telling me I'm looking like Jake. And that night when I was in the clubs, I was like, hey, can you show me a picture of this guy, please? And somebody showed me, and I was like starstruck. I was like, whoa.

Starting point is 00:05:42 I was like, dude, I do favor him incredibly in a way that you know saying you would think i'd be trying to impersonate make you do a double take yeah make you do a double take yeah long lost brother maybe i was brother man that's what a lot of a lot of people before they seen the not logan paul everybody used to say oh bro you're like the third paul brother and i'm like man i believe it what's crazy though what's crazy is i got a lot of people that say i look like logan paul which i don't see, though, what's crazy is I got a lot of people that say I look like Logan Paul, which I don't see it. I don't see that. But I got a lot of people that tell me that I do look like Jake Paul.

Starting point is 00:06:11 And it's like people are sitting here telling me that I look like both of them. I think that people get confused between the brothers. That would make me kind of like the third brother, right? Basically. You might have to take a DNA test. Exactly. I think we need to do a DNA test. Maybe your parents lied to you, man.

Starting point is 00:06:24 But, no, man, it's been a crazy experience with being a lookalike. I'm not going to lie. It does got its ups and its downs. Like I said, I was a street fighter. So going out and being a Jake Paul lookalike, man, you got a lot of people that want to talk s**t. Oh, my goodness. And knock you out, Jake Paul. And then, you know what I'm saying, with my high temper, s**t.

Starting point is 00:06:42 I'm just like, okay, well, now I'm going to be true. Yeah. So, but, yeah, now we're into boxing, and it's gonna be an incredible career uh plan on taking this journey as far as i can take yeah control that anger in a yes we've mellowed down since we've gotten to the boxing uh into the boxing scene man we've definitely mellowed down so yeah it's dope you see the sean strickland jake paul match coming up? I did. Who you got winning that? I did see that, man. I did see that.

Starting point is 00:07:07 The Sean Strickland thing, what he did with Sneako, right? Yeah, yeah. That was crazy. That was a beatdown, but he didn't drop. Yeah, he didn't drop. That was crazy. I'm not going to lie, because you can tell, bro, that Sean was really trying to knock him out, bro. He was throwing them hard.

Starting point is 00:07:20 Yeah, a lot of people were saying that they thought that Sean was only going 50%. I was seeing the comments like, oh, he could have knocked him down if he wanted. And I think that he would have had Forrest Griffin not intervene at the time that he did. But even Sean afterwards was like, no, I was trying to knock you down for sure. So that is crazy that Sneeko kept standing. I was

Starting point is 00:07:37 actually, I actually got a text from somebody high up in Misfits asking me if I was down to box Sneeko for one of the events. I said yes, but after seeing Sneeko withstand such a beating from Sean Strickland, he might be too tough. For real. If Sean can't knock him out, I mean. That's wild.

Starting point is 00:07:55 I know you can box, but God damn. That's not a good look. He's built different. That would be insane. But he'd be in the gym, him and Aiden Ross, right? They'd be training on that Tate stuff. Yeah, yeah, especially Sneako lately. I know he's been in there a lot, always trying to get in it.

Going to walk them through a couple places out here and just shut it down. I was just going to ask that because I've seen those videos like fake Drake and like fake Post Malone or whatever. And those go so viral.

Starting point is 00:09:23 Fake Kanye, actually. Kanye. Yeah, we were working with the same team that did the fake Kanye prank a while back. Oh, yeah. What's that YouTuber? Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Yeah, M to the K. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:09:34 Blows up. I think he hired a—or didn't—what's that guy's name? Arak hired like 100 security guards. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So one of the guys behind that is one of my good friends, so we're doing all that. It's going to be actually insane because obviously for Vegas, for the Super Bowl, everybody was here, and it makes sense that they're here. But once things calm down, even I think people get a little bit – what is the word here?

Starting point is 00:09:55 They get a little bit used to the fact – Numb. Yeah, a little bit numb to it that everybody's here. So, of course, it was an exciting week with the Super Bowl, but especially on a random Wednesday showing up with 12 security, whatever, to whatever mall or whatever it is is going to shut the place down. It's super

Starting point is 00:10:12 viral content. I'm talking 50, 100, a billion views. I can't wait to see that in the news. I agree. It's going to go crazy. You're in good hands. Starting point is 00:10:43 If I'm friends with the people around me, I try to get everybody. I want everybody to eat. Everybody's got to eat, man. You can't be selfish. Yeah, you've been great at collabing, man, over the years, just connecting the dots. We were talking about that on your show. Yeah, yeah. Thank you so much.

Starting point is 00:10:56 I do feel I've always loved people, big people person. I'm probably one of the most well-connected guys in the whole social media game. Not that I ever wanted to be. I just really like people. So it's so easy for me to go up and talk to anybody. I think that everybody is so interesting to me. And I have a genuine love for people. And it just makes me connected.

Starting point is 00:11:17 I love that, man. So if you get a few wins under your belt, are you going to fight the real Jake? I mean, I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind doing it. But it ain't no beef or nothing like that. It definitely would just be business. Go out there for a million dollar sparring session. Yeah, a million dollar sparring session.

Starting point is 00:11:31 I don't get how they make money on that. Do you understand that? Yeah, so I definitely would say for like, Jake Paul called out Sean Strickland after the Sneeko thing, and he offered him a million to come spar. The views are going to be there. He's got obviously the sponsors. It's brand building.

Starting point is 00:11:46 You already know. Putting that money into marketing is marketing, but it's brand building. You got the sponsors in the ring during the video. That thing gets, whatever, 10 million views or 20 million views. Are they doing a PBV? No. No, it would just be a straight spar. Got it.

Starting point is 00:12:00 Wow, for a million. But you already know the eyeballs that are going to be on that. What brand wouldn't love to have 20 million people see their product or whatever? That's true. They might get better to just float that. Of course. Exactly. Crushing it with Better Man. Sports betting seems like it's the next big thing, huh? It is, man. That is definitely the next big thing, I will agree.
