I started following him on Facebook and just reached out to him one day.
We started talking about websites.
Yeah, and he's like the king of SEO.
Oh, gosh. Yeah, he's amazing.
What have you learned in terms of SEO tips for websites?
So more or less, it's all about your geographic location and just more or less just being authentic.
Yeah.
I mean, the more authentic you can be, the better off you're going to be.
Wherever you guys are watching this show, I would truly appreciate it if you follow or subscribe.
It helps a lot with the algorithm.
It helps us get bigger and better guests, and it helps us grow the team.
Truly means a lot.
Thank you guys for supporting, and here's the episode.
All right, guys.
We got Shane Hernandez, founder of Simply Fast Websites.
Thanks for coming on, man.
Yeah, Sean, beautiful studio.
Thank you, dude. How's it going today?
Good, man.
You've been building a lot of sites?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, probably, I'd say between three to five a week.
Damn.
And you started at 13, right?
Yep.
So I actually started building websites more or less when I was 13 years old because I
played a game called RuneScape.
Started actually on GeoCities. I invited to uh be the owner of a clan and more or less i started playing around
with the color codes and going back and forth on notepad and just playing around with source codes
nice that's how i got started man runescape was my favorite game going up yeah so fun dude i mean
if i played it now i'd probably think it's boring sure because it's just so like
almost mindless you know wood cutting making fish but uh runescape was good man well you know what
it was is so back in those times like more or less like runescape was advanced for its time
if you really think about it like what did you have back then you had like world of warcraft
everquest and you know runescape you just hop your computer, get it right up on your browser,
and it was right there. Yeah. I like that it was in browser because I didn't have a fast computer
back then, so I couldn't download anything in advance. Yeah. And that's basically what we did
too. Back in the day, our friends and us would put together computers and whatnot to play.
Absolutely. It was a lot cheaper back then to build your own.
Oh, yeah. Way cheaper. But now it's almost the same, I heard.
Oh, yeah.
Well, I mean, now you go to Walmart, you pick up a laptop for $300 if you want to.
They got gaming PCs at Costco now.
Yeah.
I just saw a video.
They have a CyberPower PC there for $1,000.
Wow.
Pretty nuts, man.
Times are changing.
So you built a relationship with Dennis Yu.
Yeah, actually.
So I've been following Dennis.
I heard him on a podcast several years back.
I forget who's, it might be Brad Lee's, but I'm not positive.
Um, I started following him on Facebook and just reached out to him one day.
We started talking about websites.
So yeah.
And he's like the king of SEO.
Oh gosh.
Yeah.
He's amazing.
What have you learned in terms of SEO tips for websites?
So more or less, it's all about your geographic location and just more or less just being authentic. Yeah. I mean, the more authentic you can be, the better off you're going to be.
Absolutely. And how much do you charge for websites?
So our starting price is $179. That's cheap.
Yeah. So what I noticed, I've been building websites now professionally for eight
years. So basically going back, we used to use WordPress and then we used Webflow for a little
while. The reason we use Webflow is because you didn't have to update the plugins. But what I
noticed with the market, there's a lot of small business owners out there that were paying like
one to $20,000 for a website.
And they couldn't afford those prices.
So I founded Simply Fast Websites to do just the opposite.
Literally help these guys win.
Yeah, I've gotten some hilarious quotes.
I'll email you them.
I think one guy wanted $20,000.
Wow.
I've gotten 10K quotes, 5K.
And I don't even need anything crazy.
Yeah. Like I just need two pages quotes, 5K. And I don't even need anything crazy. Yeah.
Like I just need two pages for digital social hour.
Well, I told you the other day I'd help you out.
So yeah, I appreciate that.
Yeah.
No, it's pretty crazy what some of these people are charging though.
Yeah.
It doesn't even help the business owner.
That's the thing.
No.
Like you can build a website, but I tell people a website is like opening up a McDonald's
out in the middle of nowhere.
What I mean by that is if you don't market it properly, I mean properly, what's going to end up happening is nobody's going to go there and that McDonald's is going to go out of business.
Yeah.
And that's the same thing with your website. You can build a nice website, but if you don't tell
anybody about it and you're not marketing it properly, you're never going to get any business.
Yeah. People think they just build a nice site and then it'll get views and business. No, it's not like that anymore. No, not at all. So many pages
on Google now. I don't even pop up when you Google Sean Kelly. Wow. Isn't Dennis helping
you with that though? I need his help. Yeah. We were supposed to do some, a Google panel.
I got to get that going. Do you have a Google panel? Uh, so that's something that I want to
work on soon. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Cause that pops up that nice little box makes you look legit.
Yeah.
Well,
so something cool about our brand,
actually,
if you type in fast websites on Google and Dennis actually reached out to me
and told me this,
we appear number one in the whole world.
Holy crap.
Fast websites.
Dude.
And now a next level moment brought to you by AT&T business.
Imagine your business is running like clockwork and everything is going great.
Wow, everything is going great.
Then suddenly there's a cyber threat.
But with real-time threat detection and response built in,
your network stops the threat before you even know it's there.
Wow, everything is still going great.
That's the confidence you have with the only network with comprehensive built-in security controls.
Get AT&T Dynamic Defense exclusively available in select areas with AT&T dedicated internet and help stop cyber threats in their tracks. That is the best SEO I've ever heard of.
Oh, is that cool?
That's such a commonly searched thing.
It probably has millions of search results.
Yeah.
I mean, no, it's...
I've looked it up.
It's about 600 a month.
600,000?
No, no, just 600 just 600. What? For fast
websites? No way. Yeah. Only 600 people. There's brands that are like paying to be there, like
Webflow and whatnot. And like, you see them pop up all the time and I'm like, wow, I'm just
automatically there. Yeah. I can't believe it's that low, dude. Yeah. 600? Dude, I feel like I've
searched that. Yeah. I'm one of those 600. Well, we've gotten leads from it. So, I mean, you know.
Yeah.
Getting a job at Mercury Marine.
What is that about?
Yeah.
So basically, I'm going to take you back several years.
2022.
I dropped out of high school as a kid.
I was a bad kid.
I sold pot.
And it got raided by the Meg unit when I was 22 years old.
Wow.
Holy crap.
So I'm sitting there on the couch and all of a sudden,
boom, boom, boom at my door. And I look out the window and there's a couple of black trucks,
a couple of cops at the door. And I look at my buddy, I'm like, dude, put your hands up.
We're about to get raided. Um, so they came in and I quit selling pot right before that.
Oh, so you didn't have any on you?
No, I realized what I was doing was wrong. And it was more or less like, like I quit and they didn't find anything on me. But
I took a job actually traveling the country selling magazines after that, because they
wanted me to tell on everybody. And I wasn't going to tell on anybody. I'm like, no. So took a job
traveling the country selling magazines. And while I was doing that one day, I just woke up and I'm
like, dude, you know what? You need to grow up grow up you're 22 years old get a real job go back turn
yourself into jail so i went back turned myself into jail i spent like a week in jail until the
court was over they put me on a deferred prosecution deal and part of my deal was i had to get a real
job so i got a job at mercury marine um a guy named Chuck Hyling, shout out to Chuck,
actually saw me as like his kid
and decided he was going to hire me.
Nice.
And give me a chance.
Wow.
So you must have been pushing volume
for the Meg unit to pull up on you.
Oh, yeah.
Damn.
Yeah, I had the whole city buying from me.
Holy crap.
It is hot in the city, yeah.
A lot of entrepreneurs start off with weed dealing
really yeah wow i'm one of them i was not your level though yeah no uh well it started off
because i needed some money and but you know my guy at the time gave me an ounce and i sold that
within like a couple hours wow yeah so you were great at networking back then very good yes i've
always been a talker like i'm the type you, like typically I can get out there and talk with anybody.
Like when I'm talking on the phone, I'm literally pacing back and forth.
Yeah.
Clients.
And I tell them that too.
I'm like, dude, if you saw me right now, I'm like back and forth looking out the window.
You know, just.
I do the same thing.
Yeah.
I can't sit on a phone call.
I got to be moving.
Yeah.
It gets your brain thinking.
Yeah.
It really does.
Yeah.
Opens up like that creative flow.
Yeah. What'd your parents think when you got arrested oh my mom was very disappointed did she know you were doing uh no yeah no my mom my mom's always been very straight lady like
she's amazing like you know she was always there for us as kids and whatnot so yeah i just did it
to get by i wasn't planning on making millions off it. Yeah. I feel like the risk to reward wasn't there.
Well, that's what it was for me, too.
I started making all that money and I'm like, dude, you got to quit.
And thankfully, thankfully, I quit right before I got rated.
Yeah.
So you would have been you would have been screwed.
I think you got caught with it.
They planted the five grams they found to get me to talk because I'm like five grams.
It goes one.7,
3.5.
You know,
I still remember the math,
you know,
from years ago.
Yeah.
Five grams.
That's a weird,
yeah,
that's no one has that.
It's either an eighth or a gram.
Yeah.
Or maybe what's in between the seven grams was a quarter ounce quarter.
Yeah.
But yeah,
but no one has five.
That's so random.
I'm like, uh, I'm like, you obviously planned this to try to get me to talk.
But I wasn't going to talk to him.
I'm like, no.
They planted some on my brother-in-law.
Really?
Yeah, he had to go to court and he won.
Wow.
Because the guy got caught planting on other instances too.
Wow.
It's so messed up.
So I just realized I did wrong and I got you know, I got through everything, so.
Yeah.
And you didn't snitch.
Nope.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's a real one, man.
I got the owner, the boss of the Philly Mob coming on next week.
Oh, wow.
Joey Merlino.
Oh, that's cool.
And he didn't snitch either.
Wow.
So he would respect you, man.
Yeah.
That's a real one right there.
Y'all have to meet him.
Yeah.
If you're still in town, man.
So what are some common mistakes you see on people's websites oh gosh so mobile optimization being one of the biggest ones another one i hate to say it a lot of people love wordpress but if
you don't update those plugins your website can get hacked it can get shut down links won't work
uh that's another big thing too i didn't know um uh sometimes
you know like with like colors and whatnot looking right so like you know sometimes like you look at
like the words on a page and you're like i can barely read that what do you think of squarespace
uh so squarespace actually more or less they just they just bought out google domains so
i actually use wix for everything that i use now so i'm thinking about switching because i'm on there now but i don't know if i like it squarespace so for many
years when you go to google domains it was 12 a year um now with squarespace if i remember
correctly i think they still offer the 12 for the first year but after that it goes up to i think
it's 20 a year so all my clients now i basically just set them
up through wix they'd be taxing me on those email domains oh my gosh what are you paying i don't
even know they charge me 200 a month for like 10 i think wow yeah crazy just for an email that's
not crazy not even a site wow i mean it's a ripoff right email should be like five well i always tell
people too because like people like oh what do i got to pay a hosting you know charge for and i'm like hosting is basically how the internet works i mean it's
all run off of servers supercomputers yeah so you're basically paying for your electricity
to keep your website online absolutely i used to be obsessed with page speed scores
when i was in e-commerce because like it would affect your conversion rate well so my old partner justin sobojinski um same way just like big into that like optimizing like all the photos and whatnot
compressing everything yep making things just work dude it matters a lot especially if you're
selling a lot because i remember i went from like e-commerce yeah i went from like 69 to a 90 out
of 100 and my conversion rate went up by one percent or something is that crazy something
crazy which one percent could be hundreds of thousands of dollars, potentially millions.
Wow.
Nuts.
You don't mind me asking you a question.
What did you do in e-commerce?
I sold jerseys.
All right, cool.
Sports apparel.
Wow.
Yeah.
Who's your favorite team?
Are you interested in coming on the Digital Social Hour podcast as a guest?
We'll click the application link below in the description of this video.
We are always looking for cool stories, cool entrepreneurs to talk to you about business
and life. Click the application link below. And here's the episode guys.
Which sport? Just all of them. Football. Football. It was Giants growing up. I grew up in Jersey.
Yeah. So I was a big Giants fan. Wow. Caught two Super Bowls and now we suck.
What about you? Green Bay Packers packers oh yeah had some good runs
oh this last year was amazing yeah dude jordan love's gonna do good you guys got a real chance
to be back in the mix yeah but the niners are so good it's tough yeah well we got a we got a young
team so we got a lot of room to grow yeah so i'm not too big into football but like i know enough
to you know no i don't watch i haven't watched a full game in like 10 years wow i used to watch all the giants games but it's so slow sure they need to implement a
clock or something wow well i know they have a clock but it just feels so slow i like uh basketball
more sure do you follow nba uh not really no uh march madness typically every year but this year
i didn't fill out a bracket. Oh, ****.
So I still work full-time weekends at Merc Marine.
And then I run the business during the week, so it's literally seven days a week.
Damn.
Yeah.
So you're working seven days a week, like 12 hours a day?
Yeah, I've been out in Vegas the last couple days and literally taking meetings right away in the morning.
So it's not even a vacation for you?
Yeah, well, it still is.
This has been like a culture shock because I'm not used to being in vegas yeah i've been here before which hotel are you at uh
we're at uh planet hollywood okay yeah there's some good spot good food spots out here a lot to
do yeah we were talking about that in the back actually and more or less like all day yesterday
like literally like every restaurant like i just i stopped at like 10 different restaurants yeah holy crap yeah 10
restaurants mongolian like restaurant um stopped at this pizza shop we stopped at uh uh what's that
burger joint herbs where was it um you know i'm talking about that just yeah that's gordon ramses
yep yeah how was that i've never been there. Oh gosh,
that was amazing. Did you have a burger? Yeah. Nice. Yeah. I've seen the videos. I need to try
it out. Gordon Ramsey's a dream guest for me. Yeah. I might have to go there and post a story
and maybe he'll see it. Yeah. Right. Yeah. That's a power. You got some pretty big names on here.
So yeah, I'm getting there, man. It's like a snowball effect well you know it's kind of crazy
so you had ty lopez on here yeah and back in 2016 i actually joined his uh me and justin both of us
actually uh we joined his social media marketing academy oh nice yep that's what kind of got me
back into the website scene well so i was working full-time weekends at merc and i had a co-worker
that started building websites and he goes,
Shane, you just bought into this course. Do you want to relearn how to build websites?
So he taught me how to build on Elementor. So we started building on Elementor and yeah,
shortly after we didn't want to do the plugin updates anymore and Webflow came around and,
you know, well, I should say it was, you know, up and coming at that point.
And yeah, we switched to Webflow. And then shortly after that, I'm like, you know well i should say it was you know up and coming at that point and yeah we switched to webflow and then shortly after that i'm like you know what most business owners want
a website that is professional that's going to help them sell their products yeah and a lot of
them are getting way over you know way overcharged so i started building on wix just because it was
faster but i could still build a very professional website on Wix. So that's the reason we, you know, we're building on Wix now. I love that. Yeah. Ty's like the guru goat. Like he
started the movement, man. I know. I saw, I saw that you had him on your podcast. I'm like, whoa,
that's cool. No, he, he, for real. Same with me though. I used to watch all his courses.
Wow. I mean, he was really the first guy to really bring online education to entrepreneurs.
I feel like. Yeah. Well, here in my garage, that's a cool classic. I used to get, I used to hate that ad. I used to get it every day.
Yeah. I mean, literally like 20 times a day. Well, that's what it was too. Like he had that ad,
he's like make one to $10,000. And I'm like, that's a lot of money. Yeah. He was one of my
favorite guys. He's super smart, man. It's kind of crazy, but you know, instead of doing that,
I just started building websites. Yeah. Well, it's a necessity if you're an online business so
yeah not even just online i feel like every business needs a site this one yeah even
restaurants have sites now wow yeah i book restaurant reservations on websites well that's
what i tell people i'm like look like so one of my favorite things to explain to people
like business owners like when i'm talking with them like, all right, so you're a tree service.
If my ash tree in my, in my yard, like fell over right now, first thing I'm doing, I'm not worried about everybody else that chops down trees.
I'm worried about the first person that's going to come here and help me get rid of this.
And then I'm going to call the roofing company because it fell on my house and I'm going right to Google and type in and roofers near me.
I'm going to Google and I'm typing in tree service near me. A hundred percent. So it's
important to rank high on those searches. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. That's how I hire my
cleaning companies. Isn't that crazy? Yeah. If they're close and the reviews are good,
the reviews are important for me. Oh gosh. Yeah. I don't go anywhere under a four for restaurants.
Well, that's, that's the thing about it.'s that's the thing about it and that's
the thing about us is we pride ourselves in the work that we do because like yeah we've not had
one dissatisfied client ever wow not one refund so we had somebody recently but she wasn't our
typical like construction or landscaping business that we work with yeah um she actually did reiki
and we thought we had to be all artsy,
but she actually came to us.
She didn't come to us because,
she didn't come to us for that.
She came to us because we build really clean websites.
And we brought her this website
and we thought it was good.
And she goes, I hate to tell you this,
but I think it's horrible.
And I'm like, Katie, I'm like, look,
I will never launch a website until
you are fully satisfied.
Yeah.
So like we went back in, we took our time.
We fully like, like I'm talking like we revamped that whole website.
Now she loves it.
That's great service, man.
Yeah.
Well, that's just how I am as a person.
Like I'm never gonna, I'm never gonna sell you something that, you know, is not going
to help you.
Yeah.
Reiki.
Yeah.
Those people are probably pretty honest, spiritual people. Oh yeah. She was cool. I've on a ton of those on the show,
actually. Really? Yeah. Do you believe in any of that stuff? Uh, so, so I do believe in God.
Yeah. And I do believe that we're energy and I don't know where we go after we die, but
that's a million dollar question right there. So I had a client, um, back with my old business. Um, and he actually owned the Habitat for Humanity in Ohio, in Ohio.
Oh, nice.
And he sent me a book, Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss.
And that was a good book.
I haven't heard of that one.
So basically, um, he talks about like a hypnotherapist that puts people under, and they talk about
their past lives.
I've tried that uh did it work uh so i tried it three times first one and granted it's different for each every person so the first time it didn't work second time it didn't work third time it
worked wow it's all like kind of i feel like it's on person almost. Like I was trying to force it those first two times.
And the third time I just let it happen.
Sure.
Yeah.
So what do you think happens to us when we die?
Like, do you think that we're reincarnated?
Yeah, I do believe in that.
All right, cool.
Yeah.
I don't think you get to, there is this theory that you get to pick like your life.
Sure.
So I'm looking more into that, but I don't know if it's as easy as that.
He gets into all that in that book. Like I tell people i'm like if there's one book i
recommend you read because like john like john goes shane you got to read this book it'll change
your life and i'm like all right so i read it it's like maybe like 120 130 page book yeah and
i read it i'm like whoa just opened up my mind in like a whole new world yeah if you want to do it
dude my girl's here in vegas So I can schedule an appointment for you.
It's pretty crazy.
I don't know.
That's like kind of scares me a little bit.
It scared me.
Scared me too.
Cause you get some, uh, I don't know if you know any people that are dead, but you get
some messages too.
Really?
Yeah.
It's pretty insane.
Yeah.
So you gotta be like kind of ready for what's coming.
Yeah.
And I don't know, like, like because for me i like seeing like
physical proof or facts or data but i'm also open to this kind of stuff because multiple people that
don't even know each other recount the same scenarios so yeah isn't that crazy well really
when it all comes down to it we're energy everything everything is energy yeah there's
certain people you meet without even talking to them. You could feel their energy. Yeah.
Like you just know if it's going to be a good meeting or not before you even talk to them.
Definitely.
Yeah.
We all got someone that has negative energy in our lives too.
That brings you down.
Yeah.
Sometimes it's your own family.
Oh yeah.
I've met plenty over the years, you know.
What happens? Well, you know what I did?
Several years back, I just made this decision.
I'm like, dude, I'm going to stay away from anybody that ever brings me down like that.
Like I literally, I surround myself with my fiance, my business partner.
And basically that's really it.
That's all you need, man. Yeah.
Keep it on one hand is what I tell people.
When you try to get too many friends, like it doesn't work.
Yeah.
When you have like 50 friends.
Cause I tried to people please in high school,
try to be friends with everyone, but no one cares about you at that point.
You just need a few close people.
That's how I was growing up too.
So believe it or not, like elementary school, I was liked by everybody.
Like I was that kid that was cool.
But then I started playing RuneScape.
And dude, I'm telling you, like I nerded out bad.
I was a big PKer, you know.
Oh, you were that kid.
All right.
So funny story about RuneScape. like i nerded out bad that was a big pk or you know uh you were that kid all right so funny
story about runescape um i actually met paul gower um back i think 2003 so back when people
were duplicating rune items all the time yeah and rune two hands were still like a million gold
um somebody gave me god i want to say i forget like 50 000 lobster certs and i was an instant millionaire i'm having
drop parties you know party hats around but party hats then were like a thousand you know gp a piece
yeah um but i was dropping rune two hands which were the most valuable item in the game then
and i made like a big you know big name for myself around the game there for a little bit
and i'm at uh well i always call it carriage arma yeah the
volcano fighting lesser demons and all of a sudden my computer froze and next thing you know i'm in
a room and there's like no way out well like whoa what happened because i always heard about like
the black hole and whatnot and that disc of no return or disc of return whatever it's called um
all of a sudden a guy appears and i'm like oh my god it's
paul so they start questioning me about where i got the certs from and they cleared out my bank
and i became what i'm on runescape for a little bit there yeah what the hell that is a crazy story
holy crap did you ever do the clan wars um i did for a little bit but like like i said like i quit probably 2005 2006 ish yeah so
that's early i feel like i i played in middle school so what is that like 2010 maybe yeah so
you probably quit before i started yeah i was long gone by then yeah don't get me wrong for the
nostalgia like sometimes i'll log back in here and there dude that background music is the best of
all time i'm not even kidding i could still hear it in my head right now yeah isn't that crazy dude
such a good game so what i did like when mobile came out i went back and created like my ultimate
pure well i got tricked not too long ago and i got four defense now but how'd you get tricked
some guy i forget his name like 99 buttholes or something so i don't know if i can say that on
here but i think he's like a popular like youtuber yeah and he came through and he gave me something
that like basically like raised my defense oh and me being like you know old school yeah i was at
sand crabs that day me being old school like i barely even knew what sand crabs were yeah so
all of a sudden i'm at three defense and i, you know, I'm just, you know,
away from the computer.
That's rough.
Yeah.
And I'm like, I was pissed.
What is the best skill in RuneScape in your opinion?
Well, honestly, mining.
Reason be it.
So I grew up PKing.
So what I would do, I'd sit out,
I'd sit out the rune rocks and mine ores
and then PK while I did that.
So I got to 85 mining just so I could mine the rune.
Holy crap.
You were a beast, man.
I never got up.
I like the adrenaline rush too
of like trying to get away from these guys
if they were trying to kill you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You got to get a full, you know.
Oh, great memories doing the ladder,
little juke out,
climb the ladder and juke them out on the way up.
Did you play classic at all? like the first RuneScape?
I don't know if I played the first one.
I know the new one kind of sucked, right?
All right.
Yeah, I've never played that one.
That one just like...
Yeah, so I feel like I did start on the old one then.
Yeah, RuneScape too?
I think so.
Right before the Grand Exchange came out
is kind of when I started.
All right, cool, cool.
Yeah, but man, I never PVP'd.
I wasn't good enough.
Sure.
You had to know your s***, man.
Back in those days, you couldn't run.
It was like, you had this like special thing
they called it catching.
And you'd have to like double click ahead of the person
and get them really quick.
Holy crap.
Yeah, I was actually pretty good at that.
I mean, during those times, I was 85 combat.
You know, so like pretty high, you know, for those days i was 85 combat you know so like wow pretty
high you know for those days did you ever lose all your oh yeah well that was the worst and fish
to get it back you know what i do the second i die i go back to fishing and mining for a couple
days and be back to pk it took forever to get back the equipment was so expensive yeah and then you
add all the gold and the heels too. Yeah.
It was rough, man.
What are you working on right now though, mainly?
Oh, just growing the business.
So more or less, I'm fully trying to like learn SEO.
Like, cause like that's something that we do not offer yet.
Just because like, so I'll never sell a product or service
that I don't fully know how to do for myself.
I mean, appearing number one for fast websites, Dennis came to me and told me that. And I'm like, I don't even know how to do for myself. I mean, appearing number one for fast websites, Dennis came to me and told me that.
And I'm like, I don't even know how I did it.
Probably the longevity too.
Yeah.
I think a lot of it has to do with like now because of the work that we've done.
I literally every day I have clients literally referring me across the internet, like, and
like all these different groups and whatnot.
And I'm like, all right, cool.
I love that.
That's a compounding effect.
That's what it is.
Yeah.
Playing any video games still?
Not really, no.
Yeah.
I had to stop for, I took a five-year break.
Wow.
Just started playing Fortnite again.
Wow.
You ever play that one?
Oh, no, I did not actually.
Really?
Yeah.
Wow.
Were you not an FPS kind of guy, shooter?
So I played Halo for a couple of years, but that's about it.
But more or less Halo 3, just, you know, with the guys, you know, land parties back in the day.
Yeah.
I never played Halo or COD.
Wow.
Yeah.
People think I'm weird for that.
See, I love it.
But that's another thing.
It's like the thrill of it.
You know, like when you're trying to run away and like they're shooting at you and, you know, you know, you're going to die.
I'd be cracking up.
So you throw a stick grenade real quick, you know, hoping you get them.
But, you know.
Yeah.
There's a, I know video games get a lot of hate, but there's some stuff you could learn from them.
Yeah.
Oh, RuneScape.
That's what, I learned a lot from RuneScape.
Same.
Literally buying, selling, trading, you know.
So much.
I credit my success in business to RuneScape.
Do you really?
I don't know what percent, but it's in there.
If people ask me.
It's kind of funny because like, I kind of do a little bit too.
I mean, for sure.
You learn a lot about even just people skills.
Yeah.
Because you're going back and forth online.
You're building real relationships
with these people that you've played with for years.
Yeah, I never met up with anyone,
but we were definitely tight at certain points.
Yeah, I've had friends that have done it,
but I've never personally either.
Never took the risk.
I didn't want to know
that there was some fat six-year-old or something.
I'm good with just keeping your username as it is yeah no otherwise basically i'm getting married next year congrats my beautiful fiance same here yeah when's yours
uh march 28th of uh yep march 28th of 2025 nice i'm uh november's or wait i should know this
october 17th yeah yeah 2025 we had to plan it
early man they were booked out all the next year are you guys doing it here or in jersey we met in
jersey oh cool yeah yeah that's where you're originally from too isn't it yeah jersey champs
that's how i started man you don't mind me asking what made you move out here uh it wasn't planned
we tried la because that's what i thought i wanted to do. Yeah. And it sucked. Yeah. So I would never
want to go there. No, we literally drove here from LA unplanned. Wow. Stayed at the MGM for a month.
Mind you, we have two dogs. One of them big, like a hundred pounds. What do you have? A golden
retriever and a Australian shepherd. Cool. Uh, we actually have a golden doodle. So nice. Anything
golden is, is awesome. So I'm grossed out by drooling boogers like horribly grossed out and she asked
one day she goes can i get a dog and i'm like all right nothing bigger than a doodle well i take
mocha to the dog park every day now like i i think i i think i love the dog more than you do
like i sleep with her you know she snuggles on the bed and what happens when she drools on you
uh you know what some if i'm eating i get grossed out. But now, like, like I said,
like she's my baby.
Yeah.
Those golden retriever mouths
are so drooly.
Yeah.
You know, man.
No, I want another one.
It's kind of sad, but it's true.
I want three.
I have two,
but I would have 10 honestly
if I had a backyard.
Yeah.
If I had a backyard,
I probably would too.
Yeah.
I feel bad just keeping them
in the house, but dude, it's been fun. Anything you want to promote or close off with? Oh, not really. a big enough yard, I probably would too. Yeah, I feel bad just keeping them in the house. But dude, it's been fun.
Anything you want to promote or close off with?
