A little thing we like to call the after party. This is the show after the show, the party after the party, the bridge to get you from one full episode of Disgraceland to the other, the backyard to dig into the dirt. On this bonus episode, we are talking about. This week's full episode subject, Sid Vicious, Sean, Diddy Combs, and Jay-Z. We got an update for you. We're getting into the next two episodes that are hitting your feed in honor of the Academy

Awards that are coming up. First, Dorothy Stratton, and then our part two episode on Martin Scorsese. And we get into your voicemails, text, DMs, emails, and as always, a whole lot of Rosie. All right, this goes, let's get into it. All right, so just imagine we're not sitting here in February. We're not blanketed in snow. We're not freezing our butts off. Imagine it's the summer. It's summer 2025. There's a worldwide cooling and temperature. It's perfect weather everywhere. It's 72 and sunny. There's no humidity at the beach this morning. You pulled a perfect pearl from an oyster. It was your second pearl on what seems like an endless vacation. There's peace in the Middle East at home here in America. There's consensus among voters and our leaders. And our leader, on the direction the countries to follow. Morrissey and Johnny Marr, they've reunited the Smiths,

as have Jack and Meg White the White Stripes. Both bands are on tour right now, and tickets are only 20 bucks each. There are no additional fees even, okay? Congress has passed. The buck stops here bill, a bipartisan piece of legislation that makes it illegal to charge more than a dollar

for a hot dog, a coffee, or a glass of cheap beer. And Sean Diddy Combs has just been convicted of sex trafficking, racketeering conspirators. and transportation to engage in prostitution. The evidence against Diddy numerous videotape showing him committing unthinkable sex crimes against his victims while being cheered on by other complicit A-list celebrities is so damning that he's given the maximum sentence 100 years plus life in a federal prison where he will spend all of the rest of his breathing moments.

You want all of these things to happen. Sure, but that doesn't mean that they will. Okay. We didn't get justice for Sid Vicious's death. you can hear all about that in this week's full episode of disgrace. And this past week, we learned that the case against JZ was thrown out. And that got me thinking, what in the hell is actually going to happen with this upcoming Sean Diddy Combs trial? Do we think Combs is guilty?

That's a tough question. We've talked about it a bunch here. And, you know, we have evolving opinions on this, all right? Combs has been indicted and legally accused in multiple cases, criminal and civil, of sexual assault, abuse and sex trafficking. Sean Dedy Combs denies all of these charges. Now, in the Court of Public Opinion, Combs has also been accused of a lot of other things, okay, of grooming, of running a large-scale celebrity blackmail operation, and even of murder. Over on TikTok, with one quick search, you can find numerous videos accusing Sean Dity Combs

of murdering his ex-wife, Kim Porter, of conspiring with Jay-Z to have so-called Becky with the good hair to have her offed. There are those who accuse Sean Combs of having something to do with the deaths of Andre Harrell and Heavy D, even Alia and Whitney Houston. TikTok conspiracy theories about Sean Combs, however, they do not stop there. The hip-hop mogul is not only accused of sexually grooming underage pop stars, Usher at the time, and Justin Bieber also at the time. But you can hear and you can watch on TikTok,

AI Sean Combs. You can see this artificial intelligence content. You can see, how do we refer to that? AI content? It doesn't sound right. Anyways, it's AI generated content depicting Combs, raping and abusing meek mill, bad bunny and that fat dude from Family Matters,

not only are you going to get this deep fake content over on TikTok, again, audio and video, you're going to get testimony from members of Sean Combs's inner circle, all right, mostly bodyguards and such, testifying on video corroborating these wild conspiracy theories. Now, to my knowledge, Sean Diddy Combs hasn't dignified these rumors, the wildest of these rumors with a response. And he certainly hasn't admitted guilt in any way. And I am in no way suggesting that he is culpable for the wildest of these. conspiracies that are being charged against Coebes. And so far, other than the actual video we have showing Sean Diddy Combs viciously beating on his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who, let's remind ourselves accused Combs of abuse, Combs denied it, and then he settled with Cassie for $30 million a day later.

And then he denied all the subsequent abuse charges that were brought against him after that, charges by Rodney Littlerod Jones and others. And then we saw, and then we saw the video of Combs beating Cassie that not only proved that Combs was an abuser, but it was also a proof that he is a liar or was a liar that he lied about it. Okay. So aside from that evidence, however, nothing has leaked, no other evidence is leaked. There's been zero other evidence proving Sean Combs is guilty in any of these seedier, more outrageous TikTok conspiracy theories, which brings me to Jay-Z. J-Z is wrapped up with Sean Combs and a lot of these conspiracy theories as well over on TikTok. In the civil case against Jay-Z that was just thrown out last week, a couple days ago, had a lot to do with Sean Combs,

okay? But poof, it's gone. Why? We don't really fully know yet, officially, because of, quote-unquote, inconsistencies with the accuser's account. And I'm betting there was also a lack of evidence here. But that case is dead. Jay-Z, free and clear.

How does this relate to Sean Diddy Combs? So what we have to ask ourselves is the actual evidence against Sean Diddy Combs? What is there that is going to prevent Sean Diddy Combs, in his case, from going Poof the way the Jay Zs did? How consistent are the accounts from Sean Diddy Combs as accusers? How consistent are those accounts going to be on the stand? Let's cut to the chase. What I believe that most people want, and maybe this is just because I'm fucked up and

I'm being cynical here. But what I believe that most people want is they want Sean Diddy Combs to be found guilty of not only everything that he's accused of legally in that federal indictment, but also of everything that he's accused of on TikTok. I think there's a burning appetite in this country after years of injustice, particularly around the Jeffrey Epstein case,

there's a yearning for justice when it comes to powerful people, particularly famous people who have abused their power or who we believe to have abused their power. And I believe that most people want these atrocious conspiracy theories to be true and that they want Diddy to be found guilty. And they want all of his celebrity friends to be found guilty too. LeBron and Kevin, Oprah and Gail and Ellen and Ashton and even The Donald, they're all on tape, right? They all got to burn alongside Diddy. Am I one of these people? I don't know. Some days. Sometimes I want the most entertaining outcome to be true,

just out of pure selfishness. The caveman part of me, I guess, wants some vengeance. But I try to keep that instinct pretty tamped down for the most part i you know ultimately more than anything i don't want these stories the crazy conspiracy tic talk theory i don't want any of it to be true i you know i actually think that the best outcome is that sean diddy combs is actually innocent of what he's being accused of because then there's no victims and there's no collateral damage i do i think that's going to happen no do i think he's guilty of what he's being accused of on tictock of all these conspiracy theories, do I think that he's going to be convicted of the, we're going to find out it, you know, factually that he did these things and that he's going to go to jail for them

as I teed up at the beginning of this episode? I don't think so. That said, I'm not naive. Where there's smoke, there's fire. But we have to look at the facts, especially in light of this JZ case being dismissed, again, on account of inconsistencies with the accuser's account and likely lack of evidence. How strong is the evidence against Sean Diddy Combs? We don't know. Okay? But we've heard nothing about evidence that the feds have, that his legal accusers have.

We've heard nothing in the way of real evidence. I'm not talking again. I'm not talking about the TikTok accusations. We've heard nothing and we've seen nothing that supports any of those TikTok conspiracy theories. Nothing. All right. All we know for sure is the following. Sean Diddy Combs is in jail awaiting trial. The feds, his accusers, believe in this case. They brought the case. The judge believes Combs is too big a threat to be led out on bail. We don't know what the evidence is. We can only assume it supports the sexual assault,

the abuse, the sex trafficking, and the RICO charges that the federal government is charging him with. As of yet, as of late, no other high-profile friends of Sean Combs has been legally accused except for Jay-Z, who had the case thrown out, again, for inconsistencies from his accuser. Is Sean Diddy Combs going to be found guilty when he stands trial in two months? I don't know. Do I think we're going to get earth-shattering evidence that incriminates not only Combs but also his A-list celebrity friends? in crimes that are unspeakable in most places except for the dark corners of TikTok. At this point, judging by what went down with the Jay-Z case and giving that there's been no, again, there's been no other actual evidence released or leaked to suggest otherwise, I really don't think so. However, this is still America, and just like Sean Diddy Combs maintains his right to plead the fifth,

so as not to incriminate himself, I maintain the right to change my mind should new evidence arise. I'm not a dumbass, but this is where I'm at at the moment. This Jay-Z thing threw me. I did not see this coming. I did not see this thing getting thrown out. So that's where we're at. I haven't done a Diddy update in a while. That's the Diddy update.

You know, again, out here throwing it out you guys because of the Jay-Z news, thought I should bring it up. It's definitely changing the way that I'm thinking. It's definitely affecting the way that I'm thinking, I should say. But I'm interested to know what you guys think. All right. So hit me up and let me know. Now, I mentioned it at the top of the show. the injustice surrounding Sid Vicious's death. A dime spot. A woman so gorgeous playboy's Hugh Hefner called her the next Marilyn Monroe. All right. That was the promise of Dorothy Stratton's burgeoning Hollywood career. And then it all ended quickly, violently, and disastrously. And I'm not going to spoil it. But let's just say that this story is so compelling. It's inspired multiple films, including by the.

great Bob Fosse, his excellent Star 80 with Eric Roberts, and also multiple songs like the Red Hot Chili Peppers Californication, Brian Adams' cuts like a knife. So, check out this episode on Dorothy Stratton. And then, and then, and then the following episode, before we talk again in the next after party, you're going to get another episode that's coming on Tuesday. It's Oscar-themed as well. It is the wild story about the murder that Director Martin Scorsese did not commit. The murder Martin Scorsese needed his friends, Steven Spielberg, and others to talk him out of on one legendary Hollywood night. This might be my favorite episode yet. It might be my favorite episode that I've written. Okay? I love it that much and I cannot wait for you to hear it.

I've wanted to tell this one for a while. This story's legendary in Hollywood. It was rumored to be true forever, but it wasn't confirmed. Quentin Tarantino would speak about it from time to time. And then in 2014, I believe Scorsese and Spielberg appeared together and confirmed it. It's a vicious story of violence and creative obsession and artistic commitment. It evolves some of the greatest directors, not only of the 70s, but just from Hollywood history in general. When you're listening to it, I want you to be thinking of this. episode. This episode, guys, it's like, remember the Muppet Muppet Babies? It's like Muppet Babies for awesome Hollywood directors. This is about Scorsese, Spielberg, Brian DePama, John Millius, Paul Schrader, when they're all just, you know, coming up in the 70s. It's like their origin story in a way. That's the backdrop anyways. It's really solely about Martin Scorsese, but all these guys are characters in it. I feel like this is like saying you can't compare Pedro Martinez to Manny Ramirez because one guy was a pitcher and the other guy

was a hitter. They both played during the same time. They both contributed to the game at the same time. Who would you rather have on your team type of thing? Right? You know what I'm saying? It can be any story from your rock and roll past or from rock and roll history that you think best represents the rock and roll spirit and that you want to share with us here in Disgraceland. This week's story of the week is extra special

because it entails our Sid and Nancy episode and it comes from a gentleman named Knox Bronson. Hey, Jake, let me first say how much I enjoy disgrace land. I love every single episode. I just listened to your Sidvicious podcast and I wanted to share something with you. 20 years ago or so, I read a blog post by Don Eden telling the story of when as a young woman

she was hanging out in Washington Square Park and met a junkie named John Spacely. John Spaceley told her that if she would loan him $10, he would tell her who really killed Nancy Spungeon. He told her who the real murderer was. But the reader of this blog post, me, had to write to her to see who it was. So naturally I did. And again, guys, this is Knox Bronson saying me, not me. The story the week goes on.

The email goes on. At the time, she was an ex-party girl turned Christian blogger. We had a short correspondence. I shared my own John Spacely stories. She has since turned into a fairly successful author. So the emailer goes on to say, 50 years ago or more, I knew John Spacely in Berkeley, California. He was always a character.

He moved to L.A. at some point. When David Bowie took his Diamond Dogs tour to Los Angeles in 1974, a bunch of us flew down to see the show, staying at the Continental Hyatt. I think some of the details of the 70s are foggy. Anyway, Spaceley and I and a couple of other people were drinking in the bar the morning of the show and decided at 11 a.m. to go up to Spacely's room and drink some more.

We got on the elevator and Iggy Pop was standing at the back, chin on his chest. Spacely said, hey, Jim, how's it going? Iggy shook his head and grunted something. And Spacely said, you've been doing drugs? Same response. You've been drinking, same response. So Spacely invited Iggy up to his room

and we all went there and had a few beers or whatever and I doubt Iggy remembers, but I'll never forget it. John Spacely was. a cool guy. It's really too bad. The needle gut him. Here's a promo of the movie he was in. Okay, so there's a lot more here. He goes on to say that Spacely was briefly the publisher of Punk Magazine until the drugs took him over. Anyways, he finishes the story by saying that John Spacely told the blogger Don Eden that Sid Vicious was innocent and it was Sid and Nancy who killed Nancy while she was nodded off. Could it be? Knox. Thank you very much. This story jives somewhat, with the story that I've long since heard. People have been actually writing this on, commenting publicly on our recent Instagram post on Sid Vicious about who, who really killed Nancy. Our episode deals more with who killed Sid. But there's long been rumors that it was a drug dealer, perhaps another junkie. I'm not going to get into their names here, but if you want to go on to my Instagram account and you can just look through the content there and you can see who people are naming. There's one name that keeps coming up.

I have not heard John Spacely's name before here. I'm not saying that John Spacely had anything to do with this. I'm not trying to represent Don Eden's commentary as being the truth here, but I think it's interesting because one of the conspiracy involves a name that some of you will recognize and a nameless junkie. John Spacely could very well be that nameless junkie. I don't know. but this story, the death of Nancy Spungent and how she actually died,
