It's produced by a Dutch producer named DJ Juergen in collaboration with Wessel van Dippen. So it's a Dutch joint comes out of the Netherlands. and this kind of, I think, really spearheads that whole late 90s, Euro pop, new sound to the whole world. It's hard to explain this to, like, the youngsters of today, and I hate hearing myself say that as I just did. But this kind of music, honestly, did not exist when I was a kid. Like, when I was growing up, me and Jess were growing up,

like, we did not hear these kind of kids. No, the closest thing that too was, sweet dreams. It was all made of there. It has a, doom, doom, doom, doom, do. Throw that beat in real quick. You see, you see that kind of that vibe has that almost, that's almost the beginning of this happening. But not nearly as fast.

That was about the closest we had to sort of. Not nearly as fast, not literally as like the strong of a bass to it. And not nearly as. The first song I remember that really, like, took that whole, like, sort of EDM house vibe that I remember playing, like, everywhere was Darud Sandstorm. Remember that? That was early, yeah. That was the first one where I remember hearing that for the first time.

This is that one. Yeah. So that's part of it, Elise. So good. That song feels up so much. And then just for full circle, this is the Derrude Sandstorm. Just because y'all need to understand us, 90s kids, what we grew up with and when our first go.

Go. Go. But yeah, those fucking songs, that trance, that high energy, that song that just came at you was not heard when we were young, but then it was heard in our 90s. Europe was ahead of the game on that, which is where it came from. Yeah, no, this is one of those first ones that really came over there.

Better Off Alone by LS DJ actually first recorded in 97, officially released at least in America in like about 99. This kind of was instrumental to the entire movement of music at that point. You saw the innovation of like DJ equipment. That's really what it was. It was, it's like that you started being able to kind of make these sounds that you didn't need instruments to create. They started coming up with this new technology that you now see all the time where DJs can press these buttons and they can make different sounds and everything like that. I agree. I think this is the best stuff that they ever put out. And it's the kind of beat that is freeworkable. She clapped it open with little lyrics.
