Starting point is 00:00:00 Have you ever met a girl that you tried to date? But a year to make gloves, she wanted you to wait. Let me tell your story in my situation. I was talking to the Gulf from the U.S. Nation. The way that I met her was on tour of that concert. She had long hair and a short miniskirt. I just got on stage, dripping, pouring with sweat. I was walking through the crowd, and guess who I made?
Starting point is 00:00:23 I whispered in the air and come to the pitcher boot so I can ask you some question to see if you're 100 proof. I asked her to her name. blah blah blah she had nine ten pants and a very big bra i took a couple of flicks since she was enthused and said how do you like the show she said i was very amused i started throwing bids she started throwing back mid-range but when i sprung the question she acted kind of strange then when i asked do you have a man she tried to pretend she said no i don't i only have a friend come on i'm not even going for it's what i'm going to sing you got but you say he's
Starting point is 00:01:04 And you say he just the friend It is DJs that like to spin it Mix it Throw it back And Diggas Diggas dig it digger
Starting point is 00:01:44 Diggas DGidoo DGas DG's in the motherfucking bitch And we give me a shout out to A gentleman who Recently left This Earth to a better place Biz Marquis
Starting point is 00:01:56 A.k.a. Marcel Theo Hall Just passed away this past week Past week It's a We need to honor his memory by dissecting his absolutely most, not only classic, but most dissectable jam, just a friend. Just a friend. Yeah, this is one of those songs when it hits the verse.
Starting point is 00:02:17 We've all sing it. You, you got what I need. It is one of those ones that definitely, like, command the room. Everybody does. Like, it's one of the few. There's literally probably, like, 10 songs total that, like, actually, like, when it's played for an entire. higher like audience there's a half chance at least that like everybody the most people saying breaks in a second i did i did it recently at the club uh and everybody sang that
Starting point is 00:02:42 which runs oh this one yeah yeah and then what happens is the main verse have you ever met a girl and i just nobody ever really pays attention to that yeah it's just him talking about something yeah all right so who's it so i did the lyrics up i do okay so he pops out the beginning have you ever met a basically i'm gonna give my quick summary of what i think he talks about he met a girl at a concert. She had a big bra on a mini skirt. He invites her to hang out. He finally, they're doing what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:03:07 He finally gets to a point where he goes, you got a boyfriend? She says, no, I only have a friend. And then he starts, I got to be honest, I'm completely confused as to why he starts yelling this next portion. She, in my opinion, from meeting the girl, and then she just says she knows to have a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:03:21 She only has a friend. She's letting you know she's open to dating. She's open to whatever she's doing. I mean, I talk to somebody, but he's just a friend. She's letting you know you're in. in. Why would you then start like, come on, like, are you
Starting point is 00:03:36 reading this wrong? Because I'm... Let me hear that. Yeah, let me hear it. But she's telling you, like, I don't know, I feel like he's reading the situation wrong. He's telling him. He's not approaching it well. Like, he's telling him. Yeah, exactly. Like, why wouldn't you just be like, okay, for right now? So I'm in. Like, he's in. I don't understand. And then he goes
Starting point is 00:03:52 to you, you got what I? And then why is he singing this? But you say, he's just a free sense. He's just a friend. Yeah Biz You're reading this fucking thing wrong with man I don't
Starting point is 00:04:05 I think I don't know what you're hearing My man but she's saying You're in dog Like No he's just a friend Then like No more questions
Starting point is 00:04:13 Necessary about him right Yeah We're gonna like Focus our all night On Randy Yeah And then he does And then all he does
Starting point is 00:04:20 Or we're gonna get down A biz Marky No And then all biz does Is focus on that Right For the next like All
Starting point is 00:04:26 30 seconds A couple of things He focused on earlier that I can't let us skip over. Hit me. So he says, I was walking through the crowd and guess who I met? I whispered her ear, come to the picture booth. Did he say that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:39 I don't hear that part out anymore. So he says, so I can ask you some questions and see if you hundred proof. I asked her a name. She said, blah, blah, blah. All right. All right, well, like, okay, if you're looking for sympathy for Amas, like, as like, you're a good dude who's just like a girl's not giving you a chance, but you're really, like there for her. He didn't even bother
Starting point is 00:05:01 to get her name. Yeah. You literally like wrote in a song. Her name was blah, blah, blah. Like it, it was something. It began with like a M or... Didn't matter. Didn't even give a hint. T, I don't know. Legitimately didn't get it, didn't hear her and say her name. It was like Tiffany or Amy or something. I don't know. It was a girl's name. Just take...
Starting point is 00:05:19 It was that. Whatever. Then he says she had nine, ten pants and a very big bra. Forever. I've always... Explain the nine, 10 pants to me. What does that mean? Is that like her waist size or something? I'm guessing that's a 910 Levi's or something, shit like that. Is that like a waist? I don't know a waist. I don't know 19. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:36 She's wearing pants and she has a big bra. So she has a big teddy. Yeah. I mean, I well endowed with her. And he follows up with that. Yeah. His intrigue in that by saying, I took a couple flicks and she was enthused. A couple flicks. Like he was like, he was a very big bra. I mean, hey, real quick. See you got hey Respectfully I see that your Titty balls are of the enormous variety
Starting point is 00:06:05 And I wouldn't mind Just getting a flick real quick Can I just No man Oh shit I can't make I can't flick anything that sounds like Like what a bra would sound like
Starting point is 00:06:17 Yeah Yeah But no that's not what he's Either way Bad game bad game on his end I disagree as to the definition Of flick That you're enthusing
Starting point is 00:06:26 Because he just said he's going into the photo booth. They took a couple flicks in the photo booth. That checks out. I'm saying it. It's all coming together now. Yeah, that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Okay. All right. Fair enough. They got some of the picture. By the way, that's one of the rare times I'm able to like, you know. Yeah, you should take credit for it. Accept all the credit for it.
Starting point is 00:06:44 It's a good one. It was a good. I like that. I like that you went into it. I was like, no. I didn't let him go though. I said, how do I like the show? She said I was very amused.
Starting point is 00:06:53 I started throwing back mid-range. What does that mean? So he was throwing base. He was throwing mid-range. Just like, you know, there's that.
Starting point is 00:07:05 I know. Even you repeated it right now, dude, I have no idea. Here's the thing. I know what he means something cool. Like, I know what he's getting at
Starting point is 00:07:11 and I feel it, but I'm not quite like it. I'm just guessing he's talking deep and she's, no, because it's something about like kind of how, all right, she's not fully invested, but she's,
Starting point is 00:07:21 she's giving digs back, you know, she's like, she's kind of there, but also, like, yeah, I know I'm with you, but also like giving enough back to be like, I know I'm like what you're doing. I know I'm not like fully committed right now, but like, I'm digging it.
Starting point is 00:07:34 I'm digging it. Just keep doing what you're doing. You know, I think that's what that means right there. That's my interpretation. Yeah, well, I'm still very confused as the fact that he's yelling out. Did you say he's just a, yeah, she is. Well, we're getting to that. So he says, but when I sprung the question, she acted kind of strange.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Then when I asked, do you have a man? She tried to pretend. She said, no, I only have. a friend. Come on. I'm not even going for it. This is what I'm going to sing. And then you,
Starting point is 00:08:06 you got what I need. You say he's just a friend. I don't get this song. I'm actually quite confused now that I were dissecting it. You are not very amused. Or maybe, I don't know, I just want to write.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I'm confused. You keep you doing it. You brought back the amused. Biz, you're reading the situation wrong, sir. But we'll let you sit the next part. Let's see what else you got to say about this. Because maybe you fix it.
Starting point is 00:08:30 But at this point, she's telling you she doesn't have a man. She's got some shitty game. And you just got off concert? Like, I'm completely confused. Biss, what else you got to say? Please save yourself here. Save yourself because at this point I'm about to say, fuck. Blah Blahs worth worth right at this time.
Starting point is 00:08:55 I thought just having a friend couldn't be no crime. Because I have friends and that's a fact like Agnes. Agatha, Jermaine and Jack Forget about that Let's go into the story About our girl named blah blah blah That adore me So we started talking
Starting point is 00:09:10 Getting familiar Spending a lot of time So we can build up Relationship Or some understanding How it's gonna be In the future we was planning Everything sounded so dandy and sweet
Starting point is 00:09:23 I had no idea I was in for a tree After this was established Everything was cool The tour was over And she went back to school I call every day to see how she would do it every time that I call her It seemed to her who's growing I call her a room of guy picked up and then I called her
Starting point is 00:09:40 And I say yo who is that? Oh he's just a friend Don't give me that And as you're like listen to it and you're just I know what I'm gonna go this motherfucker is a fuck I gotta say my favorite Dicex are the ones what as we listen to the song play Justin starts just as he's listening to the lyrics run back he just starts cracking up When he realizes, like, what a fool of the actual, like, lyrics. This man is just, like, he's hanging out with a girl. She goes back to school, which I guess is college,
Starting point is 00:10:44 and then she's living with her boyfriend that she calls a friend. Why do you care? I don't get... Right. I need to know, like, the exact parameters of this relationship because it's feeling like it's, like, a new thing that this guy just met. Met at a concert. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Met at a concert, right. This whole thing is a song, could be another thing. It was like, you're talking about your girlfriend who you've been with for several years, And then all of a sudden now she just has like a friend that she's like, oh no, this Gary. He's fine. He's at my lacrosse team. You don't have to worry about it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Like that warrants the name of the song. But yeah, if you just met a girl, you're opening with this like, wait, is her to the girl? I called your room and a dude answered. The fuck is that, which also is funny because like this was at a time when like when the only form of phone really was like landlines. Yeah, yeah. So like they actually like somebody would need to. answer the house. So a dude picked up.
Starting point is 00:11:39 But if the dude was comfortable enough to, like, answer the phone there, like, he's, like, a straight-up boyfriend. But either way. Gotta be. Doesn't, business doesn't have to worry about that. That's better. She's still down. Even after the guy picked up a phone, she picks up the phone and says, oh, he's just a friend. Yeah, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:11:54 While the other guy's in the room, but the guy is still there. Everybody has to know what we're dealing with when we got Jessica over here. Whatever the fuck. I don't know. I use Jessica twice now. He's a different one. Ruby. Ruby.
Starting point is 00:12:06 when you got like, no, that's not even a name. That's an actual name. Yeah. Give me a girl's name. That's like a girl's name. Rebecca. No. Give me another one.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Monica. Monica. That makes people think of it. Agatha. Let's go Agatha. Agatha. There we go. He called out Agatha in a song.
Starting point is 00:12:23 It's his name, which is actually, now that I'm thinking about, that's fucking awesome. If you're going to, so clearly, I actually thought about it when he came around the second verse. It was like, he is calling her blah, blah, blah, blah, because he doesn't actually want to, like, engage. It doesn't matter what our name is. If I give you a name, you're going to attach, like, oh, this person to it.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Oh, this must be who is rapping about and shit. So, like, when I heard it the second verse out, like, it actually made sense to me. Like, it doesn't matter her name. It doesn't matter in it. You're going to get lost on your name. You focus on. I said Agatha, and you're like, oh, shit. Agatha Brown?
Starting point is 00:12:55 You've been fucking with Agatha Brown? What? Oh, shit, dude. Which is why I think he's going through it. He gives out Agatha as, like, a name that, like, okay, there's clearly no, Agatha. Real quick, I got a question for any Agathos that are listening. Do you like your name? Are you disappointed?
Starting point is 00:13:11 Paul in. Are you disappointed your parents, gave you Agatha? Like, you have to talk about. There's nobody that's, if you're in Agatha, you're deaf. Agatha. You have at least 12 grandchildren. It's the only acceptable way to be an Agatha. Minimum dozen grandchildren, or you shouldn't be named that.
Starting point is 00:13:26 There's two left. What if I just, like, searched Facebook for like Agatha? No, I guarantee there's a 17-year-old Agatha. There's a few Agatha's. I'm out there. Because they want to name it after their great grandmother. Or somebody, actually, I could see it being a new name that somebody names after, like, this song. Like, this song, maybe, like, wouldn't be funny if we named her kids Agatha?
Starting point is 00:13:44 And they do it because they're like, I'm going to go to fuck about their kids. Man, does anybody? Did you see it? Is it? I got, like, log in. Oh, no, no worry about that. Okay. But, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:52 So, he's with, he's talking names. Names Agatha. They're giving me a two-factor of authentication. Yeah, it's going to be on your phone. It's so annoying. I mean, you're the one that posted. You have to do that in order for it. You could opt out of that, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:04 I mean, I don't know. Does it do that to me on purpose? Like, I don't know. You clicked. I did that on purpose. I don't think I ever chose to do that. I guarantee you. Facebook chose that shit for me, okay?
Starting point is 00:14:13 Like, I definitely never said, yeah, send me a two fact. I'm afraid of people logging into my Facebook. Go out of my way to make it more secure now. Come on. Like, this is. You definitely press okay on the news. Because I didn't read whatever the bullshit that they sent me was. That's obvious.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Yeah, we're not like our boy Greg. Yeah, okay. Greg reads the fine details. We're just like, dude, I just want to get to Facebook. This okay. Just whatever the okay is, yeah. The big blue button, let me hit that one because I'm dying. And that gets me in the thing.
Starting point is 00:14:41 I'm not here for questions. What song are we dissecting again? Just a friend. Let me do a quick, let me do a quick understanding of the whole song. I'm going to summarize it. Meet a girl at a concert. She's wearing a cool dress. She likes what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:14:54 He then starts hanging out with her ass and then he finds out she has a friend. She goes back to school. The guy answers the phone. He then is like, who's that? It's my friend. So clearly she has a boyfriend. but she's still down to hook up with Biz and Biz is all mad about it
Starting point is 00:15:09 because he thinks he's supposed to be the only one with this girl that he just randomly fucking met. And he rarely met at a concert. While he was walking out and was done and sweaty and shit. Concert booty. Says that. Let's finish his last line because I don't think I've ever heard this last line. I get the, Agatha, by the way.
Starting point is 00:15:23 When I search Agatha, that keeps popping up. I don't know that it's like a singer. Oh, it's an author. Okay. There's an Agatha for you. Just to follow up. You know what? Author would have been a good guess as to her.
Starting point is 00:15:35 What Agatha does? Yeah. It's not a real name. I bet it's a fake name. Why would you change your name to Agatha? Because you're an author and you want to sound like you just said. Like, sounds like an author, yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Because our actual name was Brittany and she was like it's like a pop-tar. No, Agatha's way more. I want to be Agatha. I won't be taken seriously. All right. All right. Bizz. Tell us.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Let's hear what else you do with this. Good. Which I appreciate that you're giving us a third line. I'd have to say that because. Yeah. We need three verses. Three verses is key. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:16:03 But you say he's just a friend So I came to her college On a surprise visit To see my girls I was so exquisite It was a school day I know she was there The first semester of the school year
Starting point is 00:16:18 I went to a gate to ask Where was a dorm This guy made me feel out A visitor's form He told me where it was And I was on my way To see my baby dawn I was happy to say
Starting point is 00:16:29 I arrived in front of the dormitory Yo could you tell me where is store three they showed me where it was for the moment I didn't know I wasn't for such an event so I came to a room and opened a door oh snap guess what I saw I fell a tongue kiss of my girl in the mouth I was so in shine my heart went down south so please listen to the message that I send don't never talk to a girl who says she just has a friend has a friend this will let's get into it you got the lyrics but I just He basically, he went to her college.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Checked in. Just, like, surprise her. Yeah, yeah, his surprise business. Like, she doesn't have any idea that he's covered. This whole fucking story. And she told him he is about how he did all these things to, like, make sure he did know what the, and he's acting surprised by the results. When, like, they had to be part of it.
Starting point is 00:17:30 She's giving him a hint. I have a friend. It had to be part of the mission, at least was like to figure out, like, let me, if I do surprise up on her, like, I'm going to see some shit. Like, he had to be. That's why. That's why he went with a surprise visit. It wasn't like they, again, are y'all boyfriend, girlfriend? Are y'all boy fift and girl?
Starting point is 00:17:45 No, you just met her. No, you just met her, and you're hitting up with a surprise visit? That doesn't come off as a little bit creepy. The first day of school? The first day of school. Get your shit together, bro. And why is he on the first day of school in the dorm, right? Why is she in the dorm?
Starting point is 00:17:58 She had her classes and shit? This is like when a girl likes a guy's, like, Instagram photo out of it. And he just, like, takes it completely out of, like, oh, my God. I think I'm in love. Oh my god, there's like a hot girl. Like obviously that means we're like meant to be together. And like we should be. Okay, so like I got a.
Starting point is 00:18:16 All right. I'm in. Yes. I'm going to try to call her. Yo, what's up? Is that a dude? What the fuck? Explain that to me.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Agatha? There's a dude answer to your phone. I don't know. He's just a friend. What? No, this is like worse, dude. Because she clearly was like giving him the hint that yes, I have a man, but I don't need to call him a man for you.
Starting point is 00:18:38 I'm calling him a friend. friend for you so we can still do our thing and I'll go back to my school. She was being cool about it. She understands that you're an artist, you're going to be traveling, you're doing your thing. I want to hook up with you, like, I'm calling you for, this fool's this fool's, this fool's, this fool's, this is fucking weirdo. It's weirdo.
Starting point is 00:18:54 With this conversation. Now I'm not going to say, fuck him, because, you know, he just past way, he passed. This is just like a song he wrote, this song this song he wrote for entertainment. I'm not going to like put it on him about, oh, this is the way you carry yourself. Well, according to this song, you're fucking up. You're fucking up.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Yeah. You're fucking up. He's a little weird. The fact that he surprised they were at college your first week and they're not even like boyfriend girlfriend or like, first of all, if anybody ever like just randomly ran up on me from my past at all when I was in college, it was like, hey, I just decided to come visit you. I don't even care who that is. Like, I immediately being like, unless you're like my girlfriend from out of state, which didn't exist. I don't need to be surprised visited by anybody, okay? A phone call works.
Starting point is 00:19:35 A text. It works. I find it funny that he gets all descriptive to the point where he's like, filled out a visitor's form. Yeah. That whole verse is actually just about, like, his visit. Like, all the details of it. Like, you know, I don't walk through.
Starting point is 00:19:49 And he's like, and he asked somebody to the room. Traffic was kind of slow. But it was all good because I was listening to Curtis Blow. Yeah, like, literally it just, like, that last verse has nothing to do with anything but him showing, telling you he was going to the college, shows up the first day,
Starting point is 00:20:07 asked for a visitor's form. And then what did he see? What did he see when he was? Real quick, how did he open the door? Like, he just opened it? He just literally came in. He just didn't even knock. At least, like, give their chance to, like, open for a knock.
Starting point is 00:20:19 She's like, yeah, it was tongue kissing a dude in the mouth because I- He decided to open. How quiet is this door, by the way? Like, she was still kissing him? The fact that he was able to open the door and then they were still kissing. Also, the fact that he was able to, like, immediately call it out as, like, tongue-kissing, like, she was getting freaking. Like, probably way deeper. Really?
Starting point is 00:20:38 Yeah, exactly. No, I mean, like, and the fact that he's like, I guess she did have a boyfriend. Damn it. It's like, nobody knows who the fuck that dude was. That was a boyfriend? No, it's just like, you're dealing with a girl who likes to, like, have her fun. And she's trying to have fun with you, too, dude.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Do you stop being a douche about it. Can you stop being super awkward, surprising her? Sorry, I know. I was talking. I was getting my shouting voice, so I was like, oh, yeah. Can you stop doing it? Can you stop doing it? Can you stop?
Starting point is 00:21:09 Can you just be chill? Like, look, I'm trying. I'm trying to throw it. Yeah, I'm like 19. I'm a freak right now. Dude with it. Like, that's what I'm going through.
Starting point is 00:21:17 I'm trying to bring you into that shit. Like, I'm trying to let you get in on this, all right? Can you stop being so lame about it and be like? This is really lame about it. The character of just a friend. Who was on the phone? Which, by the way, after now dissecting this song,
Starting point is 00:21:33 dude, the song at its popularity of everyone's singing it makes absolutely no sense other than the fact that it's super catchy when he goes... You! You got what I need! What you say? He's just a friend. Can we give... Oh, baby.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Can we give proper credit to what it really is, though? It's whoever produces beat. This beat is what it is. It's obviously not his voice. No, but like that part, like the little... It just turns off. The little piano breakdown right there. Like, that is why the song...
Starting point is 00:22:03 It's all happy. It's what it is. Yeah, it's just the perfect... Again, let's look it up. Who produced this goddamn song? Because, like, it is done so well. Like, whoever, he obviously can't sing. He's a shitty rapper.
Starting point is 00:22:16 He's a shitty singer. Let's be honest. Like, his, the whole thing is, like, slurs his rap. I'm kind of, like, awkward with my words. You know, like, you don't have a good beat behind him. The song doesn't work at all. You know, like... They say he was getting off a concert.
Starting point is 00:22:28 The beat bailed him out. What other song was he, like... I don't know. I don't. I've seen... I've seen... And the thing is, he's supposed to actually be known for, like, his beatboxing abilities.
Starting point is 00:22:37 And I've said, like, he even, like, makes a cameo and, like, the... that awful men and black movie which is like I don't like to like hate Which one? Men and Blacks in general. Men in Black 2? Fucking terrible. Are you kidding me? Like I'm not like a sequel hater.
Starting point is 00:22:51 I usually like to give a better bad shot. The one talking? No, it was a man in black one. Oh. They made a second one and it just was fucking, I had like Johnny Knoxville. It was like the head and the shit. Yeah, it was just weird.
Starting point is 00:23:02 It was the whole thing was just odd. And then the guy's flying around, the old guy, like he had split into like four different heads and they were like, weird. The whole thing was weird Never, like, got me invested at all and shit. Yeah, I get it.
Starting point is 00:23:12 So he makes an appearance as like an age in that movie. And he does like, because they like communicate with like beatboxing. Oh yeah, he's like, boom, talk. Oh, wow. And then Will always does his same beatbox. Like, like, from Fresh Prince, everything, anytime he ever.
Starting point is 00:23:25 He goes, do, digiz-diggas-gat-digg. He always does that every time. So anyways. But yeah, I just remember looking at it. I was just like, I don't think you're good beatbox. I've seen way better bit better. Justin Timberlake hits a better beatboxing. You know that fucking pop song.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Then I see you do, dude. Yeah, like, he's not that good. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what. Bismarkey honestly got bailed out by this fucking song. Whoever the fucking produces beat. Who was? With that shit and put...
Starting point is 00:23:47 I always started to type in that, I got... I'm still on Mace Mo Money. I was gonna search something with Mason Moe. I was... Wait. Talk about three episodes from now? Three episodes from now? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:03 That's gonna be a good episode. You guys gonna enjoy that. We have a good lineup cover for you guys. We haven't recorded yet. but we did but we're going whatever it's gonna be a bad yeah everything's good what was I searching again oh bizmarky producer
Starting point is 00:24:17 I'm telling you Quincy Jones there's no way I'm calling Quincy Jones that's my what's your guess who's your guest uh it wasn't who's your guest just say it for real I don't know producer names enough from the 80s go for real no because it was the 80s
Starting point is 00:24:30 oh rap Quincy Jones Quincy Jones okay well his music again uh that's not No, produced. I know.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Like Quincy Jones. It's all about everything I keep saying is like about how he died. I know because that's what the hell is going to be fun. Whatever. All right. Well, we blew that. So I'm going to go ahead and say Quincy Jones. All right.
Starting point is 00:24:55 You know what? People don't listen to die sick DJs for facts for production. All right. You know what you're getting with us. So Quincy Jones. We looked at. We googled it. And it could find it.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Therefore. We're done. It's fine. Quincy Jones. Quincy Jones famously produced Just a friend, and he killed it again. Again,
Starting point is 00:25:18 just like thriller. Whatever he does. The guy who put together his beat is dope. Wrote it back. Hey, everybody. Castle here with another post-game edit, which I might do this from time to time when we start to look up something,
Starting point is 00:25:33 but don't really get the proper answer because I'm going to be honest with you. Researching is not always the easiest thing to do when we're mid dissect. But I can do it for you now. So real quick, Bismarkey, just a friend,
Starting point is 00:25:47 was executive produced by Benny Medina, written by Cool V and Bismarkey, and also mixing engineered by BizMarkey. So maybe he was himself responsible for the beat. So I'm going to share to slide him some props on that because we did run him down on his vocals a little bit there. But you know what? I think we know he's not the best vocalist.
Starting point is 00:26:09 He's not exactly here. best singer. I'm not going to run the guy down. He just passed away. God rest his soul. And we give him props for being a star. All right, anyways, back to your regular dissection. Rest in peace, Marky. You always handle biz. But yeah, dude.
Starting point is 00:26:27 All right, so. Play it. What? I'll keep it going? Yeah. It's done. That was the end. Do we listen to the end of it?
Starting point is 00:26:32 Yeah, he was like, don't ever date a friend. And that's how it is. He just fades out on that show. Yeah. Biz, your scenario here. you weren't reading correctly and you did a lot of things you should not have and going to the school on the first day of school. That was where you got creepy real quick. Then just opening the door.
Starting point is 00:26:49 It's coming on and don't even not. And your name is on the visitors tab now too. Yeah, yeah, they have you. Yeah, honestly, like this whole song is kind of a little bit about a stocker, dude. I'm like, he's kind of creepy. If he didn't have, let me just make another point about how dope that beat is because it bailed out not only his dude that clearly can't rap or sing, turned him into a legend. Can't even beatbox as we discussed.
Starting point is 00:27:13 But it also took away, like, what we should have heard is like, this guy's a problem, actually. Can the security be an alert on this guy? Like, this guy's literally shown up this girl's school.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Like, this, get his name. Can we get his face on the wall? Like, let's just make sure we're... I'll do one more final, like literally like 20-word summary of this thing. Do it. Guy at a concert.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Meet a girl as he's leaving. starts hanging out with her. She tells him she's down, but she has a friend. She goes back to school. He calls her, some guy picks up the phone, then she says he's just a friend. He decides to go to her school on the first day of school, get a visitor's pass, open the door without knocking,
Starting point is 00:27:55 sees her kissing the friend, tongue kissing the friend, and now he's mad because he didn't think that the girl, that a girl that says she has a friend is dating anybody. I got that correct. Yeah, I think you tied up all the loose ends. That's it. That's the story. What a ridiculous story.
Starting point is 00:28:16 And I'm glad we dissected it because it's one of those songs that I never would have been called out for that shit. That was basically a story of a guy who just got too excited because a girl liked his. Like I was down to hook up, but she had a boyfriend at home, didn't want to accept it. I'm saying. I feel like every girl listening right now has somebody in their mind. They're like, yeah, I can totally see this person doing that. Like, everybody knows those songs. Glad we died.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Like, yeah, yeah, like, we need to call this pull out. But that being said, this market, rest in peace. We love you, dog. We love you, dog. We love you, for giving us this jam. If you didn't, it wasn't for you, this jam wouldn't exist. And we wouldn't know how to sing this shit.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Remember when it was a whole, like, a phase where, like, everybody was hyped to play this in the taxi because it was, like, in a commercial. I remember, like, played in taxi. I remember having moments with you when you were like, dude, play this song right now. You, like, gave it to the driver and you put it on. We all, like, just jammed into the back. It was popular that time.
Starting point is 00:29:12 And it's a great backseat in the taxi song. Like, I'm glad that I gave that to us. That being said, though, how many slaps out of five are we giving Bismarkey's? Just the free. Just the you. You give me you. Stop.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Didn't work, though. Because the rest of the songs were then. We've heard it. We've heard it. We just did it a bunch of times. It's over-discussed at this point. Yeah. Good song.
Starting point is 00:29:43 It's a classic because you get to sing it. Everybody sings at the same time. However, as the last time. now that we've listened to it and dissected it, it's ridiculous. And we're talking about a stalker who met a girl overcommitted and then was mad when he found out exactly what he should have found out from what she said to him. It might have been actually easier for if she just like from the beginning, like, oh yeah, sorry, that's my boy.
Starting point is 00:30:06 That's my man. I have a boyfriend, but I'm down to hook up. Like, just go straight before instead of like being like. Even even wasn't her boyfriend, just like, okay, you're going to be this difficult. I do have a boyfriend. Leave me alone. Yeah, exactly. Anyway, that's what I give two snaps, two slaps, two slaps, two snaps, and, oh, baby, you.
Starting point is 00:30:23 And I obey you. Because it's part of the part we sing. All right. I'm with that. I'm going to go ahead and give it. Steve. Three. Three slaps?
Starting point is 00:30:39 Yeah. All right. That's fine. I'm good with three. You got to get crazy. Three's good. It's good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:47 I like that. If it was a sign that I didn't appreciate, it definitely would have gone below three. You don't give three. to a song that you don't. Did your rating lower now after listening to the lyrics of the song? Because mine did. Mine probably would have been a three, but I dropped it
Starting point is 00:31:00 because I was like... A little bit of brosso, like, not really. Because I don't... Because this is a good song. I've had good times of the song. Like you just said, create, like, taxi song and all that shit. But like, it's never a song
Starting point is 00:31:11 that, like, it's literally a song that you only play, like, if you're in a group, and you're like, oh, this might actually turn the shit up a little bit, and it's good for that. And I appreciate that. But, like, when I'm just, like,
Starting point is 00:31:21 chilling by myself, get myself ready for the day or whatever like there's no way i'm ever putting this song on i'm not going to start my day with this song like no no i'm not going to tell one thing about to biz hey biz it's time to move on from this girl and go to the next
