DJ Castizi? And we're going to do something crazy. Today we're going to get into actually two different songs that have a very similar beat. The first one being human nature. It's not even really like similar beat. It's literally like they took this song and then we mixed it. And that is one of our favorite groups from the 90s. S-S-S-Double, U-S-Dubble, U-V-V-V-V-S-S-Double.

You, the V-E? I can't sell who week. Anyway, yes, we're going to go over these two songs. We're going to combine the two. So it's going to be human nature versus right there. Let's go. And so far, I've got to. To be honest, Michael?

And it's really like, yeah, they just use that sound bite. And I even remember in the music video, I just watched it recently. Like, they go to Michael every single time that little part comes up. So they were very aware that, like, yeah, this is a tribute. It's catchy. It's catchy, right? We hear it. You're talking about human nature.

That's human nature, bro. Now, through dissecting this song, I wanted to try to understand Michael's version of what human nature is or what human nature. or what human nature could possibly be. And I'm hoping that I get a understanding of that. However, it seems like so far, from the first couple of verses, Michael is going into his normal poetic read between the lines of what I'm trying to say. Michael throws some poetry sometimes. Yeah, he gets into it.

You know, I'm not a poetry. I think we talked about this. You like being straightforward. Just fucking tell me what you want, bro. Throw it at me. I don't need to. Well, a song called human nature, like, is going to be a little poetic. I got to feel like.

I mean, I guess, dude, but. Let's figure it out. Our work is cut out for us. It could have been, honestly, if you wanted to talk about human energy, you could be like, you got to eat, you got to shit,

you got to fuck so you have some kids. If you don't, you're going to die. And therefore we go live alive. And then, you know, that's actual human nature because that's all, that's the basics of life right there.

You got to eat, you got a shit, and you got to have some kids. You're going to die if you don't have kids? No. but the human race will. Other people have kids. That's fine.

If you think about yourself as an isolation, and let's say Adam and Eve, let's say Adam and Eve, like, didn't have kids. Would we be alive? Yeah, because Adam and Eve is bullshit. Are we going there? We discussed this in another episode. Yeah, because Adam Eve had had kids,

and then their kids had to have kids, and that means their kids were having kids with themselves. It doesn't make sense. Where did Adam and Eve come from? And two people died up. The brothers kill themselves And then what they're... Yeah, I don't know that part of it.

Looking out across the nighttime, the city winks a sleepless eye. I love it. Yeah, her voice, shake my window, sweet seducing signs. Size. Size, that's what I said. I just said it wrong. Yeah, but like, I actually. he never knew he says that right there and I love it actually sweet seducing

sighs because a sigh is like all like alliteration when you're bored I love alliteration you know this uh it's like when you're bored so that's what he's hearing he's also genderized the city as a her so there's that man I you know I'm trying to read this over as we're sitting here and I I am not a poetic person I don't know what he's getting after that I just don't I don't know what the fuck he's talking about it's looking out across the night it's nighttime he's in the city the seat the seat the City wings a sleepless eye. What the fuck is he talking about? I don't know, but it's a great line. That's a great fucking line. I just love it. I love it. I'm guessing that, my guess on that is that the city, like, you're trying to sleep, but it's like, you can party if you want to. Yeah, I know. I mean, it's like, I got to think one of the, the city is sighing at you.

A sweet seducing sigh. It's like, ah. You want to come party or you want to just be asleep? Kind of bored right now. You want to get out? You want to get out? Come on out to the city. And that's where he takes it because then he's,

says, get me out into the nighttime. Four walls won't hold me tonight. Great. That is great poetry. I like that one. I'll be honest with, no, I don't like poetry, but that line is good. That's great. For walls won't hold me tonight.

And then he follows it up with, if this town is just an apple, then let me take a bite. Like Adam and Eve took the bite of the fucking apple. Right. He's like, I'm not. Holding anything back. All right. No risk here. Like,

let's... Town is an apple. I'm eating that shit. Which, of course, means, like... He's got to be talking about New York then, right? Big Apple.

I thought you were talking about... He was talking about a girl earlier. No? Why don't know? I'm not sure. No, he's talking about it. He's basically super poetically saying, like, I'm going out tonight.

I'm going to get out and rage. I'm raging tonight. And he's talking about New York City because he's talking about this town is an apple. They call New York the Big Apple. He's going to take a bite. If this town is an apple. Okay.

All right. So we're in New York, about to party. Bye. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And if they say why. Why? Why? Tell them that it's human nature.

Wait, what a random response to tell somebody? At the same time, if they told you that, you'd be like, oh, shit. This guy's got shit figured out, man. I guess it is. Oh, shit, this brother's deep. Our human nature is to party. We're supposed to party. That's deep in us.

That's actually a great answer. If you were out and some, like, random-ass girl was like, what are you doing out here? tonight and you're just like it's human nature baby why why does he do it that way tell him that it's human nature no tell him that it's human that's the next line says why does he do it that way i know and tell him that it's human nature that's the line after that but that's them asking the question of why does he do it that way and he's just coming out to the phone he's telling him and he's telling him it's human nature if they say why why why we still have yet to hear him say that why part and it's one of my favorite But at the end of the other, why, why, why, why?

And then what's... Like, I think you're looking at it as him talking to a girl. But I think he's referring that. So the original line is that, yeah, he's looking at it, go out and party. If the city is just an apple, let me take a bite. Let me take a bite. About him going out to the city.

But now I'm looking at this is like now he's out there and he's reaching out to touch a stranger. No, let your eyes everywhere. He's talking about the city. Like the city's a stranger. Like if you want to go poetic with it. Well, then what is he talking about? So see that girl, I know she's watching. The city's watching.

The girl's the city is watching. And he's staring back at it. This is all the city. He's like, I'm coming to fucking. Because you made it less creepy. Yeah. Only because the rest of the song goes into like looking, he goes back into looking out. Yeah, he goes back into the initial line here in a second.

Because we let the play the song play out. So anyway, what is he saying then when he goes, ah, because mine doesn't have that. That way. That's the way. What's he saying? That way it was. That way it was. What?

I don't know. We got to listen to it again. I want to know. But anyway, I'm going to go ahead and say that this song is talking about him going out to the city. No, it is. To enjoy itself. And it has nothing. to do with a female.

I don't know of reaching out and touching a stranger. Because if you were like touching somebody randomly and you're looking at her, you start staring out her, it gets weird quick, right? So I don't think he's doing that, but if you're touching the city and you stare at the city, can you imagine you be on the top of like the Empire State Building and you're ready to party night, you're like touching the air, like, I'm going to fucking get you. And it's like, and it likes it. It's like, it's got to put it.

It's party. Michael, here's the thing about Michael. I think that is actually like the way he games it in life. Michael Jackson and music video mode is like the smoothest gamer ever, but I don't to get transfers to regular life. Which, by the way, recently I was in Vegas, some friends, and we literally spent the last night,

He just solves it with dance. There's even one when a young Wesley Snipes, I can't remember which song it is, but Young Wesley Snipes is like thug that he's like kind of battling with. and after Michael does this whole dance He's just like... Yeah, it's bad, no. I think that is bad, yeah. And he's literally just like,

hey, are you pretty cool? Like, that's literally like, he literally acknowledges just like, that was a dope dance. All right. I'm gonna let you live. I'm gonna let you go.

Like, yeah, literally, like, he just dances his way out of everything. That's how Michael Jackson solves his issues, music video wise. Legally speaking, even Thriller, even Thriller, he got all over there.

Thriller, it's zombies. Yeah, he's almost attacked by zombies. And he just joins him, dance his way out of it. And then it'd be, comes a dream where he's actually like in a dream but he's not and he's like actually like still a zombie and like yeah we discussed thrill before all right michael finish us off and then we want

According to my version of the story, he's going out tonight, he's going to see the city. And then random people will be like, why? Why?

And he's having an answer to them like. Because it's human nature, dude. It's human nature. Just fuck you. Just fuck you. Stop asking him why he's going out. You know what you figure out what the fuck you're doing. Because fuck you, that's why.

Whoever the fuck is asking him why the fuck he's going out. Being in my business. Yeah. Stop asking why? Why? First of all, why ask twice? Fuck whoever's asking him. This whole song,

he's going out of the city. He has it in a poetic way, and you keep asking him why. I want to fuck you. So he says, looking out across the morning, now it's morning. The city's a heart begins to beat.

Reaching out, I touch her shoulder. Again, Mike, I don't know if you're like being poetic. How do you reach out and touch the city's shoulder? He's about to get coffee. Hey, I'm dreaming of the street. He's dreaming of last night when he went out in the streets.

No, I think he's actually just talking about what he's going to get into. This is like the day, get up, walk around the city. It's a good, like, walking around, like, the city's alive kind of song. City has life. You're part of it. It's got its heartbeat. You keep randomly touching it for some reason. You're touching its shoulder.

You're reaching out to a stranger. As long as you're in it, you're touching it. I think that's what he's trying to refer to. That is a rough sentence to say. It's rough. I'm trying to be giving him the best end I still didn't hear the part where he says like That's why or what's coming

He just starts like scatting instead. Yeah. All right. Now let's hear one of the best remixes that I can recall. Honestly, I thought this was the original song. And then I didn't know, like human nature was the original,

which happens to a lot of music. Yeah, yeah. You hear like, which is actually a trip when that happens because like there will be a song that you've listened to for years. And you were like,

and then randomly. Yeah. Randly, you hear, like, on, like, driving home on, like, 94.7, the wave. In fact, that Pitbull did another song. You hear that, like, this song was actually made in 1977. You're like, whoa. Yeah, Pitbull, you made a song from back then. That song.

I mean, you're throwing Pitbull on it, and that just immediately adds a stain to it that I'm not even trying to. Like, you know, like, P. What episode was that? Episode was that? Episode. I don't know. I don't know. He's a guy who, like, constantly, like, made me.

For example, more many more problems is a combination of, like, three different songs. songs that I heard at three different times. I was just like, oh, shit, that's that part. Oh, there's that part. And I think that's always cool to realize, like, oh, there's a piece of this song that I've always listened to that actually existed for years. And I just never knew it. And that's the beauty of music is that, like, there's a never-ending playlist of stuff

that you can listen to. No, that's what's frustrating about music is the fact that I think I just found an original version. And it's like they literally just remade the version like SWV did in this one. but this is a great example. This is actually the original that I knew to be honest with you until I listened to the entire This is a masterclass of how to remake a song

And like as I said in the music video They had Michael Jackson in it so they gave him proper credit And uh yeah By the way pit bull discography Episode 50 Where Pipple just completely sucks Shit all over that motherfucker Because he just completely takes everybody's beat

Why here is shit on Pipple It's in episode 50 Fuck Pipple But yeah Tell us S double Double-double-U double-fib. Right out the gate, that's the exact same song. No, but it's got a dope hip-hop beat to it.

Yeah. No, it adds to it a lot of it. Yeah, no, SWV absolutely is putting on a masterclass of how to remix the song. And like I said, give proper attribution to Michael, and everybody knows this is a human nature remix. By the way, this was created in 1993, so it was in, 11 years after the fact, good amount of space to give time to, like, let that song breathe, and then bring it back at that point. Like, think about, some that was made, like, what, 2010 at this point, like, that's it.

That's ready to, like, come back a little bit. Yeah. It's kind of weird, but. Yeah. It's weird to actually think that that's, like, the same amount of time. All right. Real quick. That's what to say from listening to the lyrics, which we're about to go over really quickly here,

a lot more direct, a lot less poetic, a lot more what I enjoy. and that's why I find this song to be much, you know, more up my alley because the Michael song was talking about a city obscurely that we weren't sure because he was touching the shoulder of the city and you were like, wait, dude, you're weird, come on, calm that shit down. The city gives you a wink, though, what do you know? It's weird stuff, but this one just tells you exactly what it's going to be like this. Lately, it seems to be some insecurity

about the way I feel the way I want to be, but you know it's with you. No one can do. to me and like you do the things you do oh the things you do to me all right so she's basically just saying

she's just telling her guy lately you've been feeling a little insecure about our relationship but I want you to know you're mine yeah I'm in this that's basically what I'm getting from this is that what's your kind of understanding of it

Like literally when I hear Human Nature by Michael Jackson, I start going, S-Double. U-D-B-V-B. S-S-S-Double-U-V-B. What's actually crazy is he only says it like twice, but it feels like that happens way more in the song. That's the only part I sing on it. Yeah. Every time you start hearing it, yeah, he does at the beginning and does it right there.

Here's the thing. Human Nature, great song. But they take this and, like, they just like up the end. They like turn into hip-hop beat. They make it better. It's a tough task to make the song that actually is that classic actually sound better with a little bit of a hip-hop beat to it. I agree, man. All right, real quick, let's get in these lines.

To love some don't believe in. That's just what I'm giving. I'm going to keep it strong. I'll be holding on to you. No one can do, mean like you do. It's true. Okay, so going back to one episode, if you're going back to one episode, if you're going. giving it to it right

Going SWV. I like the way, but it's more of a joke. Whereas right here has a certain feel to it. And it's a certain feel to it. You could dance to it a little better. And I don't know, man. And it's almost the exact same song. Just an additional beat that helps you to dance to it.

I'm into it. I'm going to go ahead and say as much as it's weird, because I would think the Michael Jackson version would usually top or the original version. Usually it would go the original, yeah. But on this one, man, no, they get it just enough. You said it gave enough time and made it prominent enough in the video, gave him his due diligence. in the video.
