Don't everybody. It's your boy DJ MC.
Chick-a-Tick-J-Jag.
And you know who's here with me.
What up, Stee's?
And we think we may have just found the song of the summer.
We might have early call-out.
However, I would like to remind people that a year ago...
Hold up, hold up. You forgot to tell them who we are.
Oh, we're just the DJs.
I like to spin it.
Mix it, throw it back, and dissect it.
Dicek DJs.
Before we call out the song of the summer,
could we just give a credit?
Are you guys looking at our new background?
The new digs?
Look, we got Diceg DJs behind me.
We got the castle, Stee's back drop behind him.
I mean, we're in a brand new studio, ladies and gentlemen.
I don't think you realize what it took to get this.
Especially because a lot of you probably just listen to this.
So that's okay if you can't see it.
But just know that we have officially upgraded our studio setup.
And now we are in, what are we calling this one?
the studio Casita.
I guess it's okay.
I don't know.
I call this new place,
the Castle Casita.
So we'll keep workshopping titles of it.
But yeah,
exciting times.
It's taken us a couple months
to actually get this all set up.
I think it looks great.
It feels like a more wholesome studio.
And I was able to formulate a vision.
And here it is.
For our first episode,
as Castle was saying,
we're going to do this every summer,
try to predict the song of the summer.
Last year, it was Sabrina Coppardier.
espresso the year before I don't think we did it and I don't even know I did I did I called out that Taylor Swift
song remember it was the summer cruel summer even though it was four years or anyway yeah yeah yeah but
either way last year I think we definitely nailed it because we did that song I think it was like early
June last year okay and it was early beginning of summer and that song was known it was out there
but I definitely think that the results ended up being like yeah that was the probably
most played song in the summer so we're trying to capture lightning in a
bottle again. Yeah, we're excited to do so because I actually am not very familiar with this song
or this artist, but it is Dior by M.K., which stands for Mark Kinchin.
I don't care. So, now, I called this out song of summer because I...
Featuring Crystal.
Featuring Crystal with a CH, which doesn't make sense because that's a ch-s sound.
I know that from middle school.
C-H- is Chisdell?
Very common way of spelling it.
Don't get hung up on that matter of details.
When I heard it, I said,
what is this?
This song hits.
This song is a banger.
However, some of the lyrics she says are a little,
I got to talk some shit.
I got to talk some shit.
I'm ready over there because you told me that earlier
and then I've listened to it a few times today
and like I kind of just hear saying the same thing over and over again.
so I'm intrigued to hear what I'm missing
because there's some lines I'm not making out of it,
but she mostly seems like she's really into Christian Dior,
which I'm going to show my non-intelligence in the fashion industry.
What exactly does Christian Dior do?
What is that a shoe?
I think he's a purse.
A bag?
Is it a bag?
It's always a bag.
Luggage of some sort?
It's always a bag.
He might have watches.
Okay.
I could have looked this up.
Sorry.
Sounded a bad of the end effect.
That wasn't the right one.
It wasn't, yeah, yeah, it doesn't.
That's next episode.
That didn't play at all.
Yeah, yeah.
We're holding that one off for the next one, but we're just playing street fighter real quick,
and I had to crush Justin with a debilitating yoga flame real fast, playing with Dalsam because he got stretchy limbs.
Anyways, it's always, like, I was thinking about it, like, where else other than the fashion industry,
can you start a company that's just your name and have more success with it?
You see it all the time.
I mean, it's artists and...
Yeah, well, of...
But artists, you're an artist.
There's different foods you can do that with.
Foods?
What foods is named after a person?
Chicken.
That's not a person's name.
Christian Dior is a person's name.
Oh.
This is barren.
Tamale.
All right.
I don't think you're understanding the assignment right now.
This is absolutely nothing to do what I'm talking about.
I think about like,
I'm just getting hungry over here to talk about.
Think about Tommy Hill,
where the fuck his name is.
Tommy.
Tom.
Tomies.
Burgers.
How you could do that with it?
That's just like a fucking beach stand that sells chili burgers on the, like,
the beach.
And I thought they were delicious as a kid, but it's actually disgusting.
Tommy's is disgusting.
And then unless you want to sponsor us, Tommy's, then you're delicious.
But until then.
Look no further out.
So.
But yeah, no, I mean, all these brands, they will make their name.
Think about like Versace, you know, like their name gets like,
ilked along with just like prestige in class and stuff, which is exactly what anybody that
wants to be something in that in fashion industry wants to be.
So, and it's always feels like the.
number one thing that women like to talk about name brands with, it's always purses.
So yeah.
Yeah.
What else do you have?
You have Chanel.
You have a Dior.
You have Louis Vuitton.
I guess that's too Prada.
You have, um, Coachers.
You have, wait, what?
Skechers makes purses.
I bet you it's affordable, man.
So anyway, that works.
With that said, the song bumps, but there's lyrics in it that we have to dissect as only
the dissect DJs do.
What we do.
Welcome once again to the new Dysect Casita Studio.
Welcome to Dysk DJs.
And let's get into this one.
Are you ready, D.
Let's ride.
Let's get it now.
If I apologize a million times,
and if I wrote you like a billion rhymes,
would you stay?
Tell me if I'm still your favorite girl.
Just say the word and I will give you the word.
I know you like the final things in love.
Just leave with me tonight.
I'll show you why it's life
You know my style
You know whatever's mine is yours
You know my style
And I love Christian
The York
Let's get into this real quick
The song is about to get into it
It's clearly building up to something
But I said
Let me go away
Let me go out of my lyrics real quick
First off out of the gate
If I apologize a million times
What did you do?
What did you do?
Never
About a million times
A million times
Dude like
Three is too much.
Cause for concern.
Is this the same thing you're apologizing for each thing?
Or is it like you've done a million wrong things?
Which already, like, what are you doing?
Like, I just don't get why you would need to apologize for anything a million times.
A million.
I think people with the way world's going and millionaires are like a lot more millionaires happening, stuff like that, people were like, hey, a million.
There's a lot of apologize.
That's a lot of apologies.
All of them can't be sincere.
I think in our landing every time.
It's a certain point.
You're not sincere.
Why do you even care at that point?
Like, if somebody kept apologizing, you're like, look, I've already apologized, 800,000, $6,500.
And I'm sorry again.
I don't believe you anymore.
I'm going to say it again.
Like, it's like, now you're just doing it to, like, try to make a point to be like,
I'm going to set the world record for apologies.
For real.
I'm keeping track.
And it's like, whatever you did, we shouldn't even be here at this point.
Should not be here?
And what if it's, like, nothing?
But it was just like, hey, did you leave that butter knife in the sink?
And they're like, sorry.
Yeah.
It's like one of those people, like you ever have like a person at work or a server?
Did you use a spoon and put it back in the drawer?
Sorry.
Do you have the people that just apologize for everything?
Like there's, I'm sorry.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
And I'm like, you don't need to apologize for that.
Just like way too much apologizing.
Don't need to apologize.
It's okay.
Like stop apology.
You're pissing me out.
Like your apologies are like now making me annoyed more than anything you did in the first place.
For real.
Because it's like not making this conversation more fun or this interaction better.
It's just like, okay, this guy sucks.
So we got, we agreed.
Reintegrance that a million times of apologizing is a little excessive.
That's just the first line.
Crystal's starting with that.
She's like,
if I apologize to me,
and then the second line,
if I wrote you like a billion rhymes,
how much time does this chick have on her?
She's just thrown out numbers.
She's just like.
I mean,
she could have been 100 and 1,000,
and maybe it would have,
but I guess million and billion
and the only thing to rhyme
when it comes to numbers,
possibly,
is the next thing she's going to say,
and if I ate about a trillion dimes or some shit,
like I don't even...
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
She's just saying numbers that don't mean
sense anymore. She's foregone the idea of like saying accurate numbers. Yeah. If you wrote like a
billion rhymes, would you stay? No. What the fuck is that going to do for me? I'm not staying. I'm
already bored after a million times of apologizing. Do I have to listen to all the rhymes? Do I have
just wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. My goodness. I know I've done 450,000 and 36 so far,
but like the next like half a billion are going to be really good. Like let me just keep going. I'm going to
I guess I guess this is me and Castle we don't like people that that do these big
Castle hates more than one exclamation point in a sentence oh yeah yeah big on that it's too much
more than too many capital letters in a word hates it so this is very similar to that where it's like
you didn't need to apologize a million times you definitely didn't write a billion you're dead if
you write that many like anyways no yeah we had a argument about that at the text of the day because
he's had a basic question and he he asked with two question marks it was it was
And I know with Castle, you're not supposed to do that, but I accidentally did it.
And I didn't even know what he was talking about when he was frustrated with me.
I don't remember what it was.
But it was just like, yeah, it was like, are you going to be able to edit that or something like that with like two question marks?
And I was like, why are you shouting that at me?
What do you?
Yes, of course.
Like, this shit is an easy question.
Like, I'm going to hit you with a double comma one of these days.
And you're not going to know what you are.
Double comma just feels like you accidentally put two in.
But when you put two questions marks, it's like, what are you serious?
Like, that's how I hear it.
That's not loud.
It's not loud.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I hear it as a show.
Accentuate the loudness of the question.
Let me tell you something.
Let me tell you something.
Any people out there that think that like putting two question marks is the same as one,
just know that there is a good percentage of people.
Probably more than half the people out there that are going to read that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm going to say yeah.
I think it's 10% if that.
I'm going to say it's 80% that are going to read it like, why are you so mad?
Why not?
Yeah, a billion people.
Like, get out of here.
I'm going by percentages right now.
And I'm letting you know, it's a bigger.
percentage than you know it's not let us know where you staying at it i would love to hear about you get
bothered by excessive punctuation for example let me give a basic question that has been asked
regularly to everybody all the time in text form where are you okay now one question mark that says
hey uh are you around like i can't find you right now two is like oh my god where are you
what's three then well that's even more aggressive it just the aggression just keeps oh don't even
You're going to be started on people.
I do five.
You're saying that multiple question marks equals aggression.
Absolutely.
No, it doesn't.
It's just more of like more.
And it's more confusion.
It's more panic.
If I get three question marks,
I'm like,
dude,
chill on your panic right now,
bros.
Oh, man.
God damn.
I love that about it.
Hey, shit,
calm down.
I'm fucking in the parking lot.
All right?
I will see you in five seconds,
Brody.
I usually disagree because I tend to do a little excessive punctuation,
but I'm an agreeance here where
a billion apologies and a billion rhymes is too much.
It's in the same vein of what I'm talking about.
So how could you feel that way about that,
but not about the double question mark.
It's the same thing.
Excessiveness.
I don't like excessive for just the point of being like,
I don't know,
I thought another question mark would be funny.
I don't know why.
Dude, tell me why you actually do it.
You're in the speed.
You're just...
Oh, you just do another one.
And you press it.
All right.
It gets read differently.
I think the excessiveness of numbers goes away at this point,
which I'm happy about.
We've gotten hooked on that too hard.
Yeah, we're solid 10 minutes.
Yeah.
We're in.
13 minutes.
I don't think there's a whole lot
she talks about in the song,
so it's okay.
We've covered the latter ground already.
And the song hasn't even hit yet.
The song hits, people.
I know we're talking about the details
of what she's saying,
but the song hits.
Get ready.
All right, anyways,
tell me if I'm still your favorite girl,
just say the world,
and I will give you the world.
Actually, it was, I think,
just say the word.
And I'll give you the world.
Yeah.
You're looking at the exact same website.
Mine says world.
Dude, you're looking at the same website.
It says me genius lyrics, right?
No, yeah, but just say the word and I will give you the world.
You said, you said world's ways.
That's just me.
It doesn't really make sense.
That's me being illiterate.
Okay, they just say the world.
Just tell me.
If you say the word world.
And I'm not reading it, great.
Tell me if I'm still your favorite girl.
Just say the word and I will give you the world.
Okay.
So all you have to do is tell this young lady that she's your favorite.
I know, but.
And you will get everything in the world.
This sounds like a great.
Do I have to point out?
that she just said,
apologize a million times,
and wrote you a billion rhymes.
This girl is excessive.
She's the type of girl that'll be like,
there was a few bees outside.
She's like,
oh my God,
did you see that?
There was like 500,000 bees outside in the yard.
There's one.
Yeah, you mean you saw one,
and you had to like do this a couple times?
Like, no, this is this girl is excessive
with the way she talks.
Okay.
All right.
So we're just going to agree that this first whole segment.
It'll be like a commercial during a show you're watching.
Like, oh my God.
These commercials have been going on for like five hours.
It was one commercial
And it even was like Amazon
Where it tells you when it's going to end at the top
Alright
Alright
Let's go to the second line
We already just have now defined
That she is an excessive talker
With her description
It's Crystal's deal
Yeah
I know you like the finer things in life
Just leave with me tonight
I'll show you what it's like
Okay
So at this point
She's kind of changing the scene
And just be like
I know you like good shit
Come with me
I'll show you some good shit
I have a feeling it's Chrisle that likes to finder things in life,
and she's just projecting that, but go on.
Okay.
You know my style.
You know whatever's mind is yours.
You know my style, and I love Christian Dior.
I think you're right with what you just said about eight seconds ago.
That it's just her that likes the finer things.
Yeah, he's just like, yeah, I mean, he's like, I guess I'm down.
So she's bullshitting with that whatever's mind is yours lying.
Get the fuck out of there.
There's no way.
You see things?
Yeah.
Oh,
you want to use my Christian Dior bag?
No, mine is,
you can walk around it if you want.
I don't know.
You know how mostly you take this.
They're usually what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine.
That's what it is.
She's trying to get to you to say then, oh yeah,
and whatever's mine is yours.
And she's like, checkmate.
Got you.
You're never going to fucking want to walk around my goddamn Christian's your bag.
Queen to E6.
Checkmate.
Checkmate.
All right.
I'm actually Googling what a Christian.
to your bag looks like now.
Hit that.
And then I'm going to get the music back on
and then we're going to get to the second lyric.
But so we've officially described
that this girl is excessive in how she talks
and she's simply trying to get the man
to join her in her excessiveness
on finer things and expensive things.
Am I, do you think I got it?
I don't mean to speak out of pocket here,
but I would dare say that a lot of the girls
that maybe like the finer things
like Christian Dior might also be known to be the ones that speak excessive and say a billion
million times and there was five trillion bees outside and this commercial has been going on
for six hours and 38 minutes. I don't know. I think sometimes I will say this, one of those
tend to be like the other. Like if you do that, then you're probably into the other thing. I'm just
going to say that's just from what I've seen. So I'm not saying it's a mutually exclusive thing.
If you like Christian Dior, that doesn't necessarily mean that you say all that.
But if you say all those high numbers, then you might like Christian Dior.
I don't know.
That's just off the top of my head what I'm getting a read from this MK track.
I think if Christian Dior ended up falling off as far as quality, she would immediately be like, actually, I'm not really a fan of Christian Dior.
I know I said I like it, but.
It was so 2024.
Yeah, I like it.
But, as I said, the song starts to hit, and it starts to hit right about.
Ready for it now.
She said, I think about 18 times right there, whatever's mine is yours, whatever's mine is yours, whatever's mine is yours, whatever's mine is yours.
Well, that's just how these tracks go, you know?
They're running up to the drop.
I know you're doing that, but let's think of her just talking to this guy.
Like, she's really emphasizing.
At that point, if she said it a million, billion times to me, I'd be like, all right, fuck.
What about this watch right here?
I think that's unisex.
I could probably fuck with that.
I don't play that.
Like that?
No?
I bet you don't like this.
Whatever's mine is your...
Anyways.
I was sorry,
Grab it shit at that point.
Then the song is about to slam,
but before we do,
we've got to go through the last couple of lyrics,
as you said.
I can't believe you stopped right before the drop.
That was a bold move on your book.
Yeah, because it's going to play out.
I know.
We've been talking...
It's going to play out for like 20 minutes about how like,
oh, it's about to hit,
and like we're still like bullshitting about.
We're building up the song of the song.
That's how we build up to the drop.
Okay, that's a dissect, dissect DJ,
version of...
Do that sound effect.
right here building the drop i will it's there it's happening right now cool all right
all right the new boat what's this what's this word are you seen this too both
bodega i saw that earlier it's probably another brand or something look that up real
quick the new boat i'm gonna google it i'm gonna go okay i'm gonna dole it bokega boat i'm still
okay well i know what a bodega is a bodega is where okay yeah it's where he got weed
and he had to show his butt it's also where you get right who's that hey black
Come on, y'all know me, look at it.
You can get this stuff at little corner stores called bodegas.
Say it with me.
Bodegas.
Yes, very good.
You can tell these places because they always have incredibly old products.
All this stuff, fellas.
But the weed ain't bad.
Let me get four dime bags.
I don't have no idea what are you talking about.
I'm going to say, you're crazy, man.
You're crazy.
Come on, man. Let me get them dimes.
See, the problem with bodegas is, they never remember you.
So you always have to do something extreme to let them know that it's you when you're cool.
Hey, fellas, y'all know me.
Come on now.
Look at this.
Hey, black ass.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Hey, why you didn't moon us earlier, eh?
It's a little bit great.
Who's that Dave Chappelle's early, early days, Dave Spel?
All right, yeah, it looks like it's some sort of a bag, like side purse thing.
It's, I don't know.
A bag?
It looks like it's like one of those little, like a clutch.
Is that what they call?
Like, it's a little mini bag.
It's another bag.
So she likes not only Christian Dior, but a different type of bag?
Well, it's probably a type of Christian Dior apparel of some kind.
Look, as I said earlier, I could have looked this shit up, but I feel pride in not knowing of shit.
It's fucking shit.
I've ever used to study this shit and be on top of it?
These guys don't know what a potter.
Good.
You guys don't even know what a boutique is.
That's what you get.
I am wearing Costco pants right now, okay?
It's what I do.
Especially when it comes to fucking.
I was bullshit
I don't
fuck about what a
Bodeggas
Bodega
Botega
Botega
T's by the way
That's a trippy one
Back as a kid
I used to dream
I'd be a hustler
You know my style
You know
Whatever's mine is yours
You know my style
I love Christian
New York
Whatever's mine is yours
Whatever's mine is yours
Whatever's mine is yours
What else
He says a bunch times
Yeah
Christian
If I apologize
A million a million
What you think so for
She kind of speaks in this way where it's like, you know,
when girls always end every sentence with a question and everything they say
always kind of sounds like.
Yeah, yeah.
So she's not doing that,
but it's kind of like every sentence she says has the same cadence.
You know,
it's like every,
everything has the other say in her.
You're right.
She's not really singing, huh?
I mean, she is, but it's just like it's not.
No, because it's not Whitney singing.
Like Whitney would have been like,
And I like Christian Dior.
I can't even, you know, you don't know.
Yeah, don't do Whitney.
We talked about that in last episode.
Yeah, yeah, you're right.
But a Mariah Carey would have been like,
yeah, never mind.
I'm trying to do some hard artists.
I will say, okay, this is obviously a genre of music
where the vocalists just has their part.
They're there to like keep us going.
They're like, the beat's going to carry this, right?
The drops are going to carry it, the buildup.
She's just there to almost be an instrument.
And that's how a lot of this kind of music goes.
It's like you're not necessarily like carrying it like singers and other songs
are she's basically an instrument so i understand where like her voice is supposed to do that as that
part of the song but if we're talking about like the way she's heard talking about a message in the
song it's kind of fucking funny to imagine like that this is how she just says all of her sentences
yeah yeah yeah for sure the new botega my baby only wears guitar back as a kid i used to dream i'd be
a hustler okay and then she gets into a new sentence this is the only time she changes
The rick, she adds a little bit here where it says,
I watched my mother for years, I saw her suffer.
I knew one day I grew up and take us out of the struggle.
Yeah.
Surprise, I'm famous, and I need somewhere to spend this.
So if you're blameless, don't tell me I'm forgotten yet.
I know you need me, yeah, I know you're feeling tired.
I'll change your life if you leave with me tonight.
So basically, as far as this is concerned,
she watched her mom suffer
and then she wanted to get her out
and then somehow she got in this song
because I've never heard of this chick before
and then she was able to do this one song
like to get her mom out of
well we talked about this before
how many times hip hop
over the years has loved to do this
where like the very first song
that you'll ever hear from an artist
they're like yeah I got bins I got
Sadie's I got four houses
I got snacks and they're just like
isn't this your very first single
like where did that money come from
Like you're like it's yeah there's a little bit of like a put up up front especially in hip hop where it's like you want to like just put out the image that you want to be and that's like kind of like you know what it ends up being so or you know that's that's how people will view you which I would imagine would probably if you put it out there if you're like a whole like first single was about how like you could buy all the Christian Dior's all the Botegas I don't know the mansion parties have like like self-conscious about yourself I know wouldn't that always come to play when people would
would see you out, they'd be like, oh, it's on this guy.
You got to pay for bottle service and everything?
Yeah, I know.
You hear that song?
That everybody's talking about how rich is.
She has a bunch of money.
She has a boutique.
Just like living on rentals like for until.
That's crazy.
Yeah, yeah.
I've always imagined.
That would be like,
never been able to do that.
I don't know.
I guarantee you,
a whole bunch of people in the hip-hop game
have fallen down.
That way have a hold of up.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I guess it's just part of the being a hustler as you dream to be his kid.
How's that feel?
I don't know.
It's got to be so fucking.
You know what I mean?
Just skin, cruelly antsy.
You're like at the money.
Just like every day.
I got dollar bills in them day, but you don't.
And you know those are the last like, the last like $900 in your counter in your hand right now.
And you're like, yeah, but it's rented.
Look at this.
Look at it.
But it's rented and shit.
You're like, you got to go home and feel like shit.
I guarantee you.
I would say that's probably happened more in the music industry than, well, I don't know.
Because I'm not.
You're all the modeling industry and shit.
Just people go out.
Yeah.
People wear shit when they go out.
And they just want to like.
I took my cousins, Jordans in high school.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, he was pissed, but I was like, I'm wearing these.
And I wore them, and I thought they were mine.
I was like, everybody was like, you got to New Jays.
I got to show off to Air Force One.
I was like, mm-hmm.
I gave him back to him like a few weeks there.
They were all tore up.
I was like, shut up, dude.
Oh, fuck you.
Sorry, Mike, I'm sorry.
You know, you're gray Jordans, dude.
They were awesome, dude.
I was, like, popular at school for, like, a week.
I hope you fucking.
Well, it sounds like, I know he listens, too.
If you never bought him,
the replacement and I think
I never will
I love you maybe
because they're like 400
yeah
he always had
he had plenty of pairs
or or Josh Lopez
I took his clothes
and would wear that
that was different
he always got for free
because he worked at that
yeah but he still got mad
and peril shot
yeah
whatever anyway
with that said
the rest of the song
is pretty much on repeat
so we're gonna let this bad boy
play out
and jam out
as a song of the summer
let's get it
if I apologize
a million times
And if I wrote you like a billion rhymes
Would you say
Tell me if I'm to say the word
And I will give you the word
One more time, say it one more time for me
I don't think she will
There it is, ladies and gentlemen
What is she saying on the right out right there?
It says
That's what she said
That's all she needed to say
The whole song that was
An ode to Christian Dior
Who
You got to
to imagine probably didn't pay her a fucking thing no I he got
complete marketing material I'm certain that she did this entire
track with the idea that like this is gonna get me some Christian Dior
clearly that's like I thank you very much not a bad idea if you're like
very much for to put a motion if that's your fashion and that's what you want like
not a bad idea let's put it out there yeah just blast hey you think Nike
would do that for us and we just nonstop like hey Nike
Nike like like that Nike and it like blew up you think Nike they definitely
would give us they definitely would
might have to shoot a little lower than Nike
oh worth a shot
sketchers sketching no no no no no
no no no pay less I'm down for pay less
I'll make that shit worse
they still got pay less is out there right I don't think so
I don't know that's stuff Costco Costco
he said he's wearing Costco pants
I got I got pretty much a Costco outfit on right now
I don't I don't shop anywhere else
that's like a nice
actually this shirt this shirt is
Christian New York actually
It's crazy.
Christian Dior, dude.
I think they make shirts.
I don't know.
I don't know.
They might.
I would say this song definitely works if you're in the right setting.
You know what kind of gives me like vibes of like a pool party and like Vegas or something like that.
This is the kind of like stuff that would just like work.
If you heard it in that setting or just looking around with that?
This is Vegas pool party.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Then like it would hit so much better.
And I hate Vegas pool parties.
And I'm vibing with this song right now.
Yeah.
$80 fucking.
And you saw everybody dancing around the pool with it and everything.
And it was like, you know, it was just like a.
The sunset.
say the DJ are there they got all their like smoking shit girls walking around with like
the DJ's face on a cardboard for some reason and shake because that's what they're doing yeah
by the way this DJ I was looking up there was any like samples it's because I would like to add
an element where we discuss the samples that get used in this song okay this guy Mark Kingchin
I saw a video of him on TikTok where he's breaking down how he put the song together and it
and it actually made me respect has worked a lot better he looks like a very established DJ is very good
he's showing like kind of the process he put into like making it like the drums that he put on it
where you got the beads.
It was definitely like,
producing stuff that I just,
I never got into you.
Yeah,
he was definitely like a very well-stabished producer,
and it made me respect to putting together the song.
M-K guy, right?
Yeah, yeah, M-K.
We've seen too much where, like,
nowadays, like, people just take the lazy route.
They're like, I'm just going to use this sample
and then just put, like, a drumbeat on it.
Or, like, they're,
I'm just going to, like, ask AI to make a beat or something.
Like, no, this guy was, like, in the trenches
and he was showing how he was doing it.
So, respect to MK, shout it to you.
And I look up that video on TikTok.
It was a pretty cool video.
to see how we put this together.
Go check that out, I guess.
And then go check out Christian Dior,
because apparently there's any more business?
No, he's got plenty of fucking business.
They're good.
I got DJs and his girl, Crystal,
like making a whole fucking song about it.
That's literally the whole purpose of the song
is just so she could shout out.
I'm going to go ahead and say,
ah, Christian Dior, dude.
Somebody has to, I guess, you know?
Just getting lauded left and right.
Okay, I just looked at Crystal's page.
It doesn't look the way I would have thought she looked like.
Oh, okay.
I can see that.
I don't know what you're talking about.
I can see that.
I don't know.
I just was kind of expecting something different.
Took a picture of it randomly.
Why did you take a picture?
All right.
Well, with that said, man, I think that song jams.
But I got to be honest, as we went through it, the song hits.
I enjoy it as a dance song.
Exactly what you said, Vegas pool party type stuff.
Yes.
Where I'd go nuts.
And very summer vibey.
However, she annoyed the shit out of me out the gate with the,
the excessive numbers, and I think that took it, I'm taking it back, it's not a song or something.
I don't think I'm there with it either because I think it's a song that we could hear all summer,
but I don't think it's catchy enough for like the general public.
I think it has its wheelhouse.
Like my mom won't like that.
Yeah, exactly.
She's not going to know what the song is.
Whereas to have the song in summer, it really needs to be like something that really works across the board.
And I think this could end up being a beat that people recognize, but I don't even know that I'll get there with it.
Like a lot of the people that like kind of are out on the scene and like know what music is trending now and stuff, they will be aware of it.
But the general public, I don't really think it'll catch on, but it'll be a good song for you to play in the summer.
That being said, I think that we should just have like a, we might be a little late to start with this.
But, you know, it took a minute to get the new studio, the new dig set up and had a vision for it.
And I've actually been able to execute exactly what I was able to do with it.
So I'm proud of that.
So we'll take this away from being the song of the summer.
And it's just the introducing to the Dysheed DJs in the studio.
Yeah, and I'm saying, like, maybe we could keep our eye out
and be on a scouting mission as the rest of the summer unfolds
and be like, what is?
That's what I was saying.
We might be a little late to it,
but that's when I started talking about how I had this whole thing
to get set up.
It's taking a couple of months to get all this shit moved in
and, you know, set up.
It's been a minute.
Now we're in.
So let's go ahead.
We'll keep an eye open.
It might just be where we end up crowning a song,
this song in the summer.
That's probably how we'll,
end up doing. So we'll have a little put it like three that we think.
Although we already decided this ain't it.
Yeah, I don't think this is it.
Good track though.
Sorry, Crystal.
I'm going to give my slaps and snaps.
Let's do it.
Five slaps.
And I got to be honest.
Out of five slaps?
I'm not going to go with the description of your lyrics.
I'm just going to go with the vibe of the song.
That's where I first heard it in the way it bounces.
And with that, I'm going to say, because I really like this.
I get down to this.
Caught the snap after the fourth slap.
Yeah, four slaps and a snap.
I get down to the song.
It really bumps.
And then it comes out of nowhere.
And if you know the words, which are pretty easy to get,
if they're...
The word's the second door in this.
Yeah.
It doesn't even matter.
And it hits.
So I like it to dance, too.
A little annoying about the million and billion.
That's just because of our attentiveness to excessiveness.
That's what we do.
See what we do there?
Yeah, I guess so.
When we dissect songs and we start hitting on every quarter of it,
like it takes away sometimes when a song is just meant to be like a good background.
It's like this.
song is just meant to be kind of played in the background.
I don't really feel like it's meant to be dissected too much just by the fact that the
music, the singing is just sort of like another instrument that's sort of like part of like just
the sound of the track.
So I want to track it too much from that.
It's like I said, it's being used like an instrument.
She's using the same cadence every time.
Any song that is created has the possibility of being dissected by the dissected DJs.
Okay.
So if you're going to put it out.
You're all a fair game.
we're dissecting
prepare to be dissected
slaps and snaps
out of five slaps
I'm giving MK crystal
Dior
oh three in a snap
I liked how you did
the like the snap catch
like it was just like
it fell off the third snap
I got it
so I'm gonna do it with three
yeah no I won't complain
when this song plays
at any time being the summer
I just feel like
any place I'm at where like
this song plays
I'll be like
oh yeah no
that song's a five
oh we're at a party
and it's a good chance
that like sometimes
a song like this
can then be elevated in your brain based on like your times experiencing it.
Like your favorite memory of the summer might be tied to this because you were like,
oh, remember I was at that dope party and like dope people hanging around and where
it was a sun was setting and, you know, you'd see the Niagara Falls and the distance.
I don't know where I am now.
I just turned into Niagara.
The point is like if you, wherever your memory sets, this song could be playing in the background
and then it elevates your memories of it as so many songs have in the past.
So I'm going to keep that window open for it.
And yeah, I like it.
I'm excited to hear this more in the summer.
But yeah, I think we've landed that it's,
they're not going to be the song in the summer.
So we'll keep that search open,
and we'll see if we can hit three years a row
where we nail exactly what the song in the summer is.
Are you planning on asking me a million more questions?
Only one, actually.
What time is it now?
Next!
