Oh, we're doing it.
It's the Dyset.
Dajek DJs.
Here we go.
Oh, Dicec DJs.
Real McCoy.
Another night, another dream.
Let's roll it.
It brings back so many memories.
Let's go with it.
What does remind you when you first hear it?
It makes me think of the 90s.
And the club scene in the 90s, which when I was in the 90s, I was not a part of
because I was too young.
So there's a certain element of hearing club music at an age when you were like too young to partake.
That kind of makes it have this coolness to it.
You're like, oh, wow.
People were probably partying of that thing when I was like a kid.
It also makes me think of Notre at the Rocksbury.
Not at the Rocksberg, which portrayed 90s clubbing.
And as a kid, you watch it and it looked like a goofy.
Clearly these guys are acting like goofballs.
But the club scene that they're part of, you're right.
It was like, oh, that must be like what being at the club does.
Like, this is the music.
And you just bang your head, maybe not as goofy as these guys,
but you just get down and sweat and just partake in 90s club.
And yeah.
And I, this is the epitome of 90s.
And I recently watched back that movie and I realize how much these guys actually represent the guys that you see in those clubs.
and the thing that they were always doing that I never understood,
is they're always doing this thing with their nose or they're going like this?
I'm pretty sure that's because they were just doing like yay in the bathroom, right?
No, it's because they were not making fun of them,
but they saw other guys in the club doing yay.
And that's why those two were like, oh, we're going to do like the brush our nose thing
because that's what everybody does.
Like, yeah, so the nose pools had no idea what's going on, but they hoped to.
But they looked like the guys.
They ended up owning a club by the end of that movie,
which, again, brings us back to the,
this song, another night, another dream, but always you.
It's like a vision of love that seems to be true.
Another night, another dream, but always you.
In the night, I dream of love so true.
Okay, let's dissect this.
She is, she's high.
Can we talk about this deep voice, like European guy
that was in all of these dance mixes in the 90s?
Like, was it the same guy every time?
I think so.
I feel like this guy might have made a killing.
out of his bad raps and like they just all feel like we have to have the part where this guy
tough talks a song to a deep rap with his German accent about like...
Just in the Nide, a vision of love.
Yeah, he's a bit awkward.
He comes in, like, you remember, you remember our first episode where that guy comes in and
he just absolutely kills it with his portion of his song?
Give us a song.
Hey, Mr. T. DJ.
Oh, the guy in that song.
yeah yeah that guy has he come in
how's he coming in again
yo
gonna hear from a DJ don't keep playing a song
like he comes in
yeah no there's a party over here
yo oh no there's a party over there
yeah yeah no boy did
anyways he comes in
kills his part now this guy comes into this song
and because we all know this song
and we just used to it it's like
oh yeah but let's really step back
and be like what is he done
you're right castle
that's some deep guy
like with a German slight accent
and it just comes in and talking
just another night
A vision of love
Why does it feel like he's trying to like
Tough talk us into thinking that...
I talk. Talk. I talk to you.
Yeah, it feels like he's trying to like
Just like beat us in a submission like
You're gonna dance
To what I'm gonna say to you.
You're right. This guy is not killing it
Nearly as much as the originator of the
No, it's not sexy at all.
It's not sexy. We're over it.
We both just realized it.
However,
Once again, this song is one of the only songs that can take it.
Like, what other song are you going to be?
It works with this song because we're used to it.
Because we're used to it.
But yeah, no, there's that 90s club vibe that just kind of works with that.
And it's because that's all we know.
The song is she approves of his deep, ridiculous talking.
And she's just like, in the night and the tree, I'm in love with you.
There's no pushback.
She doesn't pushback at all on the fact that this man,
Also.
It's not adding to this song or to her life.
We also have to point out the fact that we're watching the video and she for some reason all of a sudden has like a captain's helmet on.
Yeah, she was on a moped.
Yeah.
Or a moped helmet.
Yeah.
And everything in this video is black and white, which honestly I'm okay with that part.
That's fine.
Yeah.
That's very 90s of it.
But the type of she's driving a moped is a bit awkward for the video.
Can we be honest?
Real quick, every night, every night, every dream is always this person.
She seems a little bit too engaged.
I mean, you could dream about other things.
Yeah.
Camels.
Antarctica, Philippines.
I don't know.
I'm trying to come up with different things here.
Umbrellas.
Penguins sliding down a mountain on their belly.
With an umbrella.
You get it?
Like, there's other things you could dream about.
Every night dreaming of this guy with a deep voice, and it's getting a little awkward.
There's so many things that somebody can be thinking of.
The idea that somebody can only dream of you is, it's kind of, yeah, it's a bad mental place to be, you know?
Like, I understand it as like a, oh, I'm super old.
Yeah, a little wetline.
But at the same time, not that healthy, not that healthy.
I feel like it's about his climax right now.
She could have been way cool.
So let's see where this goes.
Kind of down with this, guys.
He said he's your brother, your mother, your sister, and your brother.
Yeah, that's what I mean.
Like, this guy, he's a little too dominant with his raps and he thinks, I feel like this, like,
deep voice 90s rap guy thinks he's like way too in charge.
Ladies, do you think this voice is sexy?
If you can't call in at 555-6642 or you just send us a message.
Or send us a message on Instagram or something.
Yeah, just do that.
Let us know what you think.
I don't know.
Does it sexy do something?
Because we actually are curious.
Because not to us.
To me, this guy sucks.
Yeah.
It's up with the best point right there.
I don't know.
This guy.
Not this guy.
Same guy.
Well, no, after this guy gets done doing this shit.
All right, that's just good.
Counsel said it's going to have a break-down.
Let's hear it.
Well, I thought I was going to get into like an instrumental beat again.
Because the instrumental is what carried that song.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right, so I love that song as an instrumental.
The deep voice dude absolutely killed that shit.
The difference between that girl, what she brought to the song, and what that guy did.
What she talks about is absolutely, she feels joy, she feels pain, but it's all the same.
In the night, she's going to be alone.
Like, she's way too infatuate this guy.
It's frustrating.
She needs to find her own life.
She needs to find herself first.
And then once she does that, she'll then be able to open herself to,
others to then come into one with her and her soul.
No, it's,
yes, it's frustrating because, uh, it feels like the way the song plays out is very, like,
emblematic of the way very many relationships play out.
It's a beautiful girl singing a beautiful song and it has a great beat.
And then this dude comes in and he just tries to take over.
He thinks he's like this badass.
He was just like,
I talk, talk.
I talk to you.
And you like it.
And you're gonna jam to this as much as I'm through.
And like he just keeps...
She's like, I'll come save you.
In the night and my dreams I'm in love with you.
And she keeps bringing it up.
And then she keeps just bringing it back down to his like, blah.
And as you watch the music video, as we just did,
this guy thinks he's owning this shit.
Even though the girl who sings the song, it's really her song.
Her voice works beautifully with a beat.
The beat is very perfectly like this 90s beat
That probably got it into that Noroxbury movie
I feel like it's a very European vibe
But there was something about mid-90s club jams
That felt that deep voice European rap guy
Needed to be included
And here's a thing that I'm so glad
That they eventually figured out
They don't
What was another song that had?
I tried to think of another one that has it
All of them did
literally any song of that vibe
I don't know
I'm like
Call me Mr. Rada
Call me Mr. Rowe
I know what I want
I think there is a guy in that one
There's a
Any, all those songs did
Yeah don't ask me to like call them out
Right now
Like just they all did
I'm pretty sure that one has it actually
I'm looking at it
Should we give that song Slaps
Since we just listened the whole thing
We may as well
We may as well
Yeah
All right
So let's go ahead and give slaps to
What is that?
What's that sign from?
Lovers do?
No
another night
real McCoy
another night
how many
slaps would be given it
so I give it
do I need to explain
the fact that you gave
two head nods
two slaps
and two head knots
three head knots
there's two slaps
and three
knight
the Roxbury
head knots
two slaps and three
night of the
Roxbury headnots
okay here's what I'm giving
it
oh you went three
two
three slaps
and two
head of the rod
fairy head slaps
yeah
you went two three
so we're in the same
ballpire
once again you know
hey
if you think that we agree too much
you're right
sometimes we do
because we know jams
and we hear them
you know what
and you know what
fuck you
you
make your own podcast
where you come up
fucking shit
you know how how hard this is
you know how this is
it's not that hard
to do what we do
it's fun
we're having fun with it
it's cool
yeah
I mean like the setup and everything
and the recording
and the editing
that's a little bit hard
but like
it's fine
we're having fun
fell with it.
Well, don't tell us.
I don't know why were you, you started the whole yelling at evil thing.
Actually, I did.
I brought it up.
It's a crazy time.
I'm tired of being six feet away.
Can you give me a hug?
No.
Let's give a phantom head, phantom fist bump.
There we go.
No, with that.
I think there's only one thing we got to say.
Next!
