Starting point is 00:00:04 That I said DJ DJ Is the dot set DJ DJ DJ What's you doing Where you're at Oh you got plans Don't say that I'm sipping wine
Starting point is 00:00:21 In a robe I look too good To be alone What's going on everybody It's your boy DJJ And's cast easy What up Stees
Starting point is 00:00:33 And we are the boys that like to spin it, fix it, play it back, and dissect it. Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, sack. Yeah, we back, y'all. We're back with a new one by Bruno Mars, Anderson, Pock, and Silk Sonic. It is actually the group of Anderson Pock and Bruno Mars formed known as Silk Sonic. I had no idea. Yeah, somehow Justin has no idea what the song is.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I got to be honest, ladies and gentlemen, I am probably one of the most uneducated full-time DJs you'll ever fucking. be introduced to. Any new music that comes out, I probably won't hear it for about a year or two. I know a lot of music. I know 50s, 60, 70s, 80s, but when it comes to new music, it needs to be a hit. Kind of an important part of your profession. Kind of, but kind of not, because a lot of the stuff I play, especially at weddings and corporate events and stuff, has to be already liked by the masses before I can actually
Starting point is 00:01:24 play it for it to actually be successful song. But Castle tells me that I'm going to be playing this next song throughout the summer because this is just the jam. And I didn't realize what a, what a, what a, you know, Fantastic duo. Silk Sonic is just basically Anderson, Pock, and Bruno. They were like, let's do this. We'll make the name.
Starting point is 00:01:40 They decided it's for them this year. All right. And you know what? I definitely think that these guys could have a career with some legs. And as long as they want this super group to go, which could be just an album, I don't know. But, like, I think the two of them combined make a dynamic duo. And coming out of the shoot with this is their first jam, I'm with it. You know, it's got a good, fluid, modern R&B sound with also a little bit of a throwback vibe to it.
Starting point is 00:02:03 And both have fantastic smile. I got to give it to up these boys. I'm not that big, you know, but these guys, they're smart. Anderson Pock has, like, I think he has too many teeth in there because they're just fantastically white and there's like a 98 of them in there. They're great smiles, great group. I love their music that they did before they got together. So I can only imagine with this song that I've never actually heard, which apparently is a popular song. Castle was like, how to fuck you have you not heard this song?
Starting point is 00:02:26 No, within three months, you're going to be like, yeah, you're right. This shit is everywhere. Yeah. Especially you do in the wedding community. Yeah, this is going to be a regular. So I should be playing this for sure. You should already be playing this. I missed it.
Starting point is 00:02:36 I missed it yesterday. All right, well, I'm excited. I can tell you that. I'm excited because anytime Castle has a song that he's really all about, typically tends to be a popping song. It's when I'm all about a song that Castle's like, hold of, that's awkward. That's not true. Usually, if I tell Justin this is a song, he got to listen to it. Oh, I always hate first.
Starting point is 00:02:55 He will listen to it 15 seconds and I'm like, no, no. I hate initially. That's just, you got to get through the hate part of me. And then if I can get past the hate part and wait for 30 seconds and I'm like, okay. then you got me. What I usually do now instead of telling them listen to the song is I'll just play it so that then you are listened to it
Starting point is 00:03:10 and then I wait until you start jamming to it. I'll be like, that's a good song, right? Because if I had told him, is that how you been getting? Jedi mind-tracking shit. Oh damn, I knew something was up. I haven't been hating for a while. It's because I know how to play it.
Starting point is 00:03:22 So, let's go ahead and dive into Silksonics. Keep the door open or leave the door open. Great, first of all, excellent name for these two to land on, as their little super group name. I think Silk Sonic sounds like... First of all, it's like it's the kind of group name that you already hear the sound that they're going to provide
Starting point is 00:03:42 before you even hear them their first song. When I heard that Bruno Mars and Anderson Popper were both going to be in a group together named Silks Sonic, I was like, I already like the vibe. I already know where they're going with this, and I'm in. Jump in the ride and let's cruise. So let's go ahead and break down the lyrics on this one, shall we? Yeah, hit me because I don't remember where they said at all.
Starting point is 00:03:59 I will hit you with a baseball bat. Full of lyrics. that begins with Bruno Mars. Say, babe, set baby, set baby. What you doing? What you do? Where you're at? Where you're at?
Starting point is 00:04:11 Oh, you got plans. Oh, you got plans? Don't say that. Don't say that. No, shut your trap, actually. Whatever, fuck it up. Oh, we got what we were doing. Yeah, no, they threw a curveball.
Starting point is 00:04:20 So he's just basically telling his significant other, oh, we're about to get started. Maybe it's a significant other. Maybe, like, this is just his opening line. He's approaching because remember how we've always talked about how. Oh, he could be at a bar. Yeah, and like in these songs, everybody's always like the smoothest dad in the room. Like they just come in, he swoops in and he kind of almost glides in like picks up her drink. And like as he says, oh, you got plans, takes a drink.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Don't say that. Okay, I see where you're going with this. I'm sipping wine. Sit, sit in a rope. It's actually drip, drip. This would be help if you were looking at the lyrics still. I don't know the fucking thing. All right.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Jip, yeah, yeah. You do that whole part. Do both parts because I don't know what the fuck's happened. I'm sipping wine, sit, sit, sit in a row. Trip, trip. I look too good. Look too good. Be alone.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Woo-hoo. You know what this guy sounds like? It sounds like the guy from the Tone Loke episode, but they sound like they don't need the Funky Comedina to do their thing.
Starting point is 00:05:15 They're a lot more with a snoot- They don't need a date rape. Yeah, yeah, basically. They sound like they have it more with their, no. Their own personal. And in Bruno are way. By the way, go back to episode
Starting point is 00:05:25 Funky Comedina and Wild Thing, Tone Loke, you come to find out. Ton Loke's an asshole. But beyond that, These guys are doing it the correct way. Smooth talking. Trying to find the vibe. We'll see where it goes.
Starting point is 00:05:38 I see what you're doing here. Right. Very smooth opener. And then he continues to sell himself beyond his smooth game by then opening the door up to what he brings to the table. Because he then follows up with my house clean, house clean. My pool one, pool one. Just shave. Smooth like a newborn.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Okay. I don't think we've heard that yet. So let's go ahead and let's hear that shit real quick. Here we go. Yeah, he says it way better than I do. Yeah, I think Castle, I'm going to be playing this song. You hear it now. This is good.
Starting point is 00:07:01 It's smooth, but it's got some energy behind it, not too slow, you know. But it also, I got to be honest, I'm going to ask you the question. What the hell is he talking about by leaving the door open? What are you taking from that? First of all, when you say it's smooth, but it's coming in with some good energy, would you also say that means it's silk and sonic? Kind of what that means. I think you described it by reading the definition.
Starting point is 00:07:24 When I think of Sonic, I think the hedgehog, I think the restaurant, and I think Sonic Booms. I don't know what to think of Sonic. Yeah, but it's like an energy thing. Like Sonic's got energy. Sonic, the restaurant is just a place where you eat in your car. I don't know why that's something. And then I think JJ Fat, J.J. Fat, and we're here to rock.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Super Sonic. Also energy, yeah, right. Okay, so Sonic equals energy. That's the energy, and then the smoothness. That's the silk. Silk, right? Silk is always. All right.
Starting point is 00:07:57 So, when he means to leave the door open, this is when he's basically laying out all the game that he's got. He's telling you he's pool is warm, his house is clean, he's just shaved like a new ball. He's a, what? Aren't those things that you're supposed to do anyway? Yeah, but shouldn't those be, you shouldn't have to mention those? because your house should be clean. Your pool, I don't know if your pool should be warm, depending on the money you have.
Starting point is 00:08:23 It's honestly, I think he said all of that stuff just so he could slide the whole pool part in between the sandwich of like the basic. Like, it was a layer of like. Yeah, because if your pool's warm, let's be honest, that's taking things to that level. Most pools aren't warm, but if you got your pool warm, just having a pool, you're automatically saying,
Starting point is 00:08:38 I got money. Right. So like the other stuff was basic and he just slid that in there and that was the light bulb that went off in her head, like, oh, what's up? Because one thing, you have a pool and it's clean. That's a known expense. But to then do the heating bill of which to heat that pool,
Starting point is 00:08:53 keep it warm, and you're at the bar talking to this girl to where the heater's still on because you don't have to turn it on when you get there because it's going to take six hours to get the heating bill out. You're right. Yeah. This man's showing, without saying it, I'm bawling. And then on top of that, he really lays it on when he then follows it up with, we should be dancing, romancing in the east wing and the west wing of this mansion. So, yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Well, he just goes blunt there. He was a lot more subtle with the initial. Now he's just saying, I got money. Now he's just dropping his whole hog on the table. Like, there it is, ladies. Yeah, exactly. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say Mansion? Did I say East and West Wing?
Starting point is 00:09:30 Let me check my bank account. Yeah, 100,000. Oops, oops. That's just my- Let me just scoop those numbers up. Okay. Sorry to cough those all over you. Yeah, sorry.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Well, yeah, now he's just going to blow with it, okay? But again, I have to ask, what does he mean by leave the door open? We're built up to this point. What does he mean? Basically, he's letting her know, you know where to find me. I don't know. What do you leave a key or something? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Or I guess he doesn't need to. Because, like, she's open. Yeah. He better live in a good neighborhood because if you leave the door open in the wrong neighborhood. But then he has a mansion. So I guess it's going to be open. He must have secure.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Okay. All right. He's just letting her know if she wants to come on in. So is he assuming that she already has an address? Because he should have added that to the song or. That would probably fuck with somebody's address if it was just out there. imagine like some guy that just lives in the hills all of a sudden everybody's like coming fucking taking selfies with the address and like yeah yeah doing their little influencer videos like yeah this is it this is the silksonic mansion yeah he made it we're about to try to walk in the backyard and see what happens all right come on follow me you know a bunch of people trying to
Starting point is 00:10:33 I believe the door open my address is one four five six Ferris Lane Santa Monica yeah you're right no it just doesn't flow well either better get a guard dog Point. Are you ready to counterpoint? Go ahead. This all sounds like extra smooth game because Bruno's saying it extra smoothly. It's changed. True.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Like you were just like. Change the tone a little bit here. Yeah, change the tone. You'd be like, trying to go as dirt baggage as you can. Hey, hey, what are you doing? What? Where you at? Oh, you got plans?
Starting point is 00:11:06 Don't say that. I'm sipping wine. Okay, let's go ahead. I'm sipping wine. Wine is out of a box. I don't know. How do you unclassified wine? That always like just sounds better than like, I'm,
Starting point is 00:11:15 sipping whiskey raw. Yeah, that's rough. I'm sipping Coors. He's going hard. Coors original. Coors, you're like, yeah, you're just... Hey, I'm sipping some cores if y'all want to come out back and leave the door open for you, all right? It's always open, actually. We've got to leave it open for dogs to get out. Kind of like, actually, not a very smooth game to just let a girl know. Like, a girl will probably want, rather you be like, I'm going to take you out. We're going to go somewhere nice. We're going to be romancing and dancing in this nice venue where you got to pay a lot of money to get into. Instead of just being like, I would leave the door open if you want to fucking come in.
Starting point is 00:11:49 I'm going to be chilling. I'm going to be watching some always sunny reruns. No, no, but you're going to be dancing too. It's kind of hard to be a dirtbag and say you're going to be dancing. Hey, if you want to come out, I'm going to be dancing, you know, romancing. It depends how smooth dancing you are. You're just like twerking on the couch with holes in it and shit. Yeah, if you're still stuck in, like, high school game of like still freak dancing as your
Starting point is 00:12:08 only way of, like, actually dancing, you're in trouble. You're, you're in. Right. All of this is very. twistable if you want to twist it up but again real quick can we go back to my 10th grade first time dancing and had never been to a party before in high school we go to a winner formal or not winter formal it was just a winner like whatever we're all about a party and the girls some of the girls that I always had a little crushes on I was like oh you see her she's here out of nowhere
Starting point is 00:12:32 mid-party there's a trade of like guy girl guy girl guy girl freak dancing 20 of us and I had the girl that I'd had loved for like a six months just freak dancing her for five minutes. I love dancing ever since. You say there was a train of y'all? Oh yeah. It was like, that's what we used to do in high school. For some reason, it would be guy, girl, guy, girl would be a guy, girl would be on the guy, then the girl's boat would be on the guy, then the girl would be behind him,
Starting point is 00:12:55 then the guy, then the girl, then the guy, and it's just a train of 20, and everybody would just be like... So you might think you're getting it with a girl in front of you, but she might be looking at the guy who she's freaking on from behind. True. Or the girl behind he's going to be like, you know, giving the reach or... Anyways. It's also possible that you are then kind of dancing by yourself
Starting point is 00:13:11 because everybody on each side is like totally focus. You might think you're getting some, but actually... It's like a fucked up game of Domino's. Or a great game. Could be both. Like, it could be both. You have both of them. You don't even realize it.
Starting point is 00:13:21 You could get rowdy quick. But yeah, that's high school, man. I miss that stuff. I do miss Freak Dancing as being the only source of dancing from like 14 to 19. But I don't because it's weird and dancing's awesome. Once you get older, you start to see enough guys who ruin that for everybody. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they just think that they don't kind of do shit.
Starting point is 00:13:41 And they just stand there and they're just, Dirtbag about it. Just the hump the butt. Yeah, yeah, I got it. All right, man. So, I don't want to hear the rest of this song. Can we, uh, let's write this thing right out so I can hear the next to this. Let's let it run.
Starting point is 00:13:54 So, sweet. So tight. I won't bat. Unless you like. If you smoke, what you're small. I got the haze. And if you're hungry, girl, I got belays. There's so much love we could be making.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Come on. I'm talking kissing. Oh, you're in the bad love Girl, let's jump in... Oh, you're... Castle. Castle. I have fallen in love.
Starting point is 00:15:04 With Silk Sonic? Well, with this song specifically, but, you know, I kind of knew once you told me that it was Anderson, Bach, Bruno Marsh, I wasn't going to hate on it. Yeah, I was like, oh, wait, wait, wait, you got a piano player that sings, you got a drummer that sings, and you combine, and they both had both amazing albums,
Starting point is 00:15:20 they're going to combine those two? I knew from the... I didn't know that, like I said, I didn't know there was a group. The moment you said that I'm like, oh this track's going to be bombed yeah also kind of like that they have that sort of old school motown vibe where Anderson keeps coming in on the backup everything he's saying I'm imagining it like you know one of those old soul groups that would like all have like the standing microphones and they're
Starting point is 00:15:39 all dressed in like a silky suit that kind of matches and they're kind of doing like a little like move forward as they yeah I don't say that I look to a guy so me a lot yeah yeah exactly like I'd imagine you because you especially these two like especially Bruno Mars is an amazing on stage performer. I guarantee you, I've never seen these guys perform it, but they perform the shit out of this. Like, you know that there's a whole smooth choreography set.
Starting point is 00:16:05 I've actually seen both of their own live sets of like on TV. I understand pop with his drumming and smile and Bruno Mars with his dancing and smile. Combine those. Yeah. Ridiculous. Guarantee you they have some stand-up mics going on to. Real quick, as you know,
Starting point is 00:16:17 I don't, I'm not a big smoker, right? But they talk about smoking in this with the purple haze. If you smoke, what do you smoke? I got that case. Purple haze. They got the purple haze. That's good stuff. Now, if you got the purple haze,
Starting point is 00:16:30 that means you're spending at least 40 to 45, if not 60, for that eighth. And again, I don't smoke. But Justin doesn't smoke. Okay, just make sure we simplify that. But that's some good stuff. Followed by, now if you're...
Starting point is 00:16:43 Real quick, before you said that, if you're vegetarian and you're any of those, I got to be honest, we're probably not going to date. If we do, we'll have, like, a nice fun month, if that was the case. You know, if we were both single, And we're like, let's have a fun of it.
Starting point is 00:16:56 But the moment we go to, like, restaurants, we're like, you're eating a filet mignon. And I'd be like, absolutely. I'm eating a filet mignon, medium, rare, still blood, and almost moving. And it's going to be delicious. And what did these men say midsong? And if you're hungry, girl, I got filet. I got fillets. I said, oh, you castle saw me.
Starting point is 00:17:13 I smiled like, ooh. Yeah. This guy is selling me. I'm almost falling for Brunel now. We got purple haze. We got filets. Yeah, he's just laying it on thick, man. I love these guys.
Starting point is 00:17:23 I love these guys. Just remember, I don't. don't, I do not smoke. Yep. Kind of odd that the main hook that they keep going back to is like, leave the door open. Like everything he else is saying this song is like so smooth and like, oh man, this guy's game is on lock right now. And then his go to, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Which, by the way, I got to be, I got to be karaoke in this song in the next couple weeks. Better learn it. Good thing we're going over right now for you. But yeah, no, because that's not like, again, changing the context that's not the smoothest line it's like kind of lazy to be honest it's like you're not even going to like
Starting point is 00:18:01 open the door for her if she comes in yeah you're not going to go scoop her up or nothing like just if you want to come like yeah he just like just yeah yeah yeah I'm gonna send you with Uber like you could have went that way see that doesn't sound classy but it is a step up
Starting point is 00:18:21 from just like come over bring your ass the door is unlocked if you want to Yeah. I don't know. Let yourself in. I'll be there. You got the pools warm and shit. And filetzer on the grill.
Starting point is 00:18:31 So you know what I'll be smoking. I'll be smoking in Purple Hays. Yeah. I'll probably be knocked the fuck out. You've got to wake me up if you get there. Because Purple Haze will get you. I actually would love. Not that I know.
Starting point is 00:18:40 The idea of like this being like sung for a girl. And then she gets all turned on and then she comes over. And it's literally just like knocked out in a cloud of weed dust around him. And he's like, oh, what's up? Oh. Steak sauce on the plate. It's just a mess in there. And they're like,
Starting point is 00:18:55 It's like actually just a little tiny, broke-ass apartment, and the pool out back is actually like a kiddie pool. The community pool. There's like a bunch of kids running around doing cannonballs and jackknives. But he says the mansion. He definitely mentions mansion on the east and west coast, so we can't assume that because he states the other. If he did not state that, though,
Starting point is 00:19:13 we could definitely start to assume it's a weird shit. Yeah, yeah. No, he covers some bases with the mansion thing. Actually, he says we should be romancing and dancing in this mansion. Does that necessarily mean it's like his mansion that he's living in? Or is his one-bedroom apartment considered a mansion? He just calls it the mansion. Yeah, the front door just has a mansion.
Starting point is 00:19:33 They just walk in and just like... The east wing is actually just like a laundry room. Yeah. On the right is like that little front, like half bathroom. The living room and the bedroom. East wing is bedroom. West Ring is living room. Like that's the way you separate.
Starting point is 00:19:46 And he has like signs on the wall that say that. There is no central wing. It's just those two. There is a version of that. The kids that have been peeing in it. That's why it's warm. I get it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:56 The story is making... Exactly. Hey, man, everything is moldable if you want to shape it, you know, to what you want to be. I'm just saying that, like, his go-to line throughout it all, probably actually the wackest line of all of it, like, in terms of being smooth. Because, like, I'm going to leave the door open. It's, like, as lazy. No, he crushes how he says it. He makes it sound sexy because that's what they can do.
Starting point is 00:20:21 The Silk Sonic crew. I agree. All right, well, let's finish this song. I'll see what else smoothness. These two have to bring to the table because right now I'm going to have sex with myself here shortly. And Castle, you're going to have to watch. I'm going to edit that out. But, yeah, let's go ahead.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Castle, you know me, man. I believe so. We've been friends now for crazy to think about 16 years, man, when I came up to you. It was like, let's fight. And then you smacked me up. I mean, can you give that more context? It was like we just started douging it out right there. I know. We've contacted before.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Go listen to other episodes. You know what we're talking about. Fight night next night. I got him the first round. I got him the first round. He didn't get me the first round. He kind of won't. He got one flurry.
Starting point is 00:22:33 He kind of beat me. Because he roped up. I kind of beat him. I'm going to give myself the first round. No, you absolutely ten-eight me the next two rounds. So I'm giving you money. I'm making credit. If you don't give me credit for their first one,
Starting point is 00:22:43 at least even. It's an easy credit to get. At least even or give me a slight edge because of the roper dope. It was like 15 seconds he had me. It was awesome, though, and he was scared. And he'll say it. I was scared. I was a little worried at that point.
Starting point is 00:22:55 He had me clean about eight times. That's why I gave myself the edge on that first round. But then I got a bloody nose, and I threw up. And anyway, so you know me. I tend to hate on just because, I don't know. I don't know what it is about me, but my brain goes, don't like it. Don't like it. Immediately.
Starting point is 00:23:10 It goes, mm-mm. And then you hear it. And you're like, and you're like, and my brain still goes, mm-mm. Don't like it, doesn't like it. And then it keeps going. And it's like, fight it. And then a snip will come out Hmm
Starting point is 00:23:23 And you'll hear And then you'll hear a La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la That's the shit That's where you got me too That's where I love Bruno and It brings back old shit They brought back 90s with finesse
Starting point is 00:23:38 They brought back 70s with temptations Motown with this song I loved it I loved it I love this song It's getting five claps Early I'm calling out Wow
Starting point is 00:23:47 Damn Yeah I was definitely expecting you to hate on this Because that's just what you do No, no, if you give me a good one. Yeah. That's to work on me. You got to do the whole song, listen to it and shit. My goodness.
Starting point is 00:23:57 That is weird. That is a 2020 version of Motown. 2021, but yeah. 2020 decade, basically. It is a 2020 version, brand new, rectified version. That's Motown. Yeah. And it's fucking amazing.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Yeah. Great job, you two. And your smiles, you good looking. Bruno and Miguel, both. They have something that you don't really hear much. music these days, but they have that ability, like, deep in the third verse, they just let it go. They just take it up here, and that's what Bruno does right there when he goes, I'm a leave the door.
Starting point is 00:24:33 And he, like, just really, like, go, lets it out. I love when anytime, because that's something used to get more in, like, the 60s and 70s, where, like, they really take it up to the next octave in the third verse. You don't get that that often. But, yeah, Miguel's really good at that, and so was Bruno. Got to get Miguel on one of these episodes, son, because, yeah, I'm on. I'm a Miguel fan as well. But yeah, no, this is what happens when you just take the top tier of producers and musicians.
Starting point is 00:24:59 And they're like, hey, let's just make some magic. I imagine they just, when they finally decided to, the fact that they were not doing a one-off, they're like, let's do an album. You know that these two guys were like, we're going to put our all into this because I'm looking at somebody who's just up here with me on the upper echelon of what we do. And let's just see what we can create. and boom masterpiece and thank you for introducing me I have found a new wedding song
Starting point is 00:25:25 I have found a new karaoke song and I found a new in myself by myself driving home and I'm going to sing the shit out of this song a new two BTs deep while you're sweeping around the house song first of all I don't smoke but yes but yes absolutely
Starting point is 00:25:40 absolutely that's exactly what I did you's perspective when is this going to be used this is a dinner time song uh yeah or a slow dance no it's not it's not well no You want to use for slow dances and weddings and stuff like that. You want songs, maybe. If it builds enough and it hits it hard enough, then yes. But it has to be a song that's like crossed over all.
Starting point is 00:25:59 This is dinnertime music for sure. Dinner time. Fucking fantastic. Or cocktail. Reception. Cocktail area too. But fantastic song. I don't have much else to say other than, man, I pretty much summed it.
Starting point is 00:26:10 The fact that they were able to bring a 2020 version song of which all you hear is, I love it. It is refreshing, isn't it? They come in and they bring Motown feel with a just new age. Thank you guys. Bruno Anderson. I've always respected you guys as music. I use both of you guys at my weddings.
Starting point is 00:26:31 But now it's like, now I'm going to listen to you in my own car. You know what I'm saying? That is next level of appreciation. I will just also add that I can already tell as I was just jamming when we were playing it, I am going to, every time I hear the song, do the swinging door open dance move. I just found myself Keep doing that Every time he says that
Starting point is 00:26:50 I'm gonna leave the door Oh I can see that And then you kind of like Wave them in Come on a no No No
Starting point is 00:26:57 That's just That's how I did I like to interpret If you have like a jacket On too You could have like Open the jacket What?
Starting point is 00:27:06 Oh yeah Come on in girl It's warm Yeah yeah Yeah yeah Yeah The water's warm Baby
Starting point is 00:27:12 Yeah I like it All right Castle I think I don't know What are you doing What are you clapping What are you slapping What are you slapping
Starting point is 00:27:17 What are you snapping? I'm going to go. I think I'm going to use that Vincent Price door open sound from Thriller. I don't know who Vincent Price is. That's right. You still don't fucking know who. The sound from the guy of the voice and thriller.
Starting point is 00:27:37 How are you still not know Vincent? We did that whole episode where I'm yelling at you about not knowing Vince of Price's. Oh yeah, that guy. Yeah, the little sound effect from Thrill. I want that open and the door open. I'm going one more time. Door cracking, open.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Letting you know, hey, party's going on here, girl. And the invite has got your name. That's what I give silks on it. Four. A door and a slightly door. Four and an open door. All right. You ready for my?
Starting point is 00:28:05 Yep. This is all my. This is going to be there. Wow. I'm going to be singing this. There were certain parts of that. The fillet and the Purple Hays part. That's what brought home for you.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Lock me in. It was quick. It was only 10 seconds. I was like, what do you smell? I saw the reaction. No terrible Hays. I got filets. I want to go to this party.
Starting point is 00:28:31 I want to go. Where are you guys at? Although I don't smoke. I want to go where this is because I want to smell the in, you know, the purple haze and the area. And the pool's warm and everything. And I don't eat stick. Yes, I do.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I do both of them. I'm, I was down. I'm down for both of those shit. Let's go. So yeah, thank you guys. La la la la la.
Starting point is 00:28:48 And that's just a shout out to the temptation Motown feel. Yeah. That's why they're part of, that was part of my slaps. No snaps with this one. Just straight four.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Straight slaps. Five. Because it's straight slaps. Thank you, Castle. Flaps. I want to thank you. You really hadn't heard the song
Starting point is 00:29:04 before this moment. 100% had not heard it one time. Not even one time. That is crazy. It keeps popping up on all my different Pandora. Whenever Pandora station I have, when I have, like, I'm going to play. You listen to music and I don't. Well, it keeps finding me.
Starting point is 00:29:18 And then there are even times when I hear it play, I'm like, I already hear the song two times today. And then I'll think, like, oh, I should go escape it. But then I realize I don't even, and I kind of end up vibing the whole thing without even, like, when I'm just thinking about other stuff. And that's how the guy I keep noticing is, like, even if it has the potential of being a song that gets played out, it's such an easy listen that it doesn't really hit you. You know how some songs kind of, there's an elevator. to it we're like I love it right now.
Starting point is 00:29:40 I'm going to be annoyed by that. But it has that, yeah, yeah, that's going to bother me in like two months. I don't hear that. It's just so easy listening. In fact, I feel like I'm going to find different parts of this song throughout time, but I'll remember when you get certain notes and I'm going to have to practice those because I'm going to karaoke them. By the way, if you ever want a cup of karaoke, Wednesday night, Canyon in,
Starting point is 00:29:57 your Berlinda, come on through. Yeah. It turned into full, on radio disc jocic. Ladies and gentlemen, Wednesday nights, karaoke 9-1. Come on and sing the favorite song. Starting point is 00:30:28 What's the password? Yeah. We should be radio disjointed. Is that something? I was sorry. No, it's not. It's not really. It's now podcast DJ.
