Starting point is 00:01:19 Hello and welcome back to another episode of your favorite podcast. Right? That's right, it's distractible. I'm your host because I won the last one. My name's Bomb. Welcome. This is my episode. It's going to be great. Practically guaranteed. I only host bangers.
Starting point is 00:01:35 I'm pretty sure, as I recall. And I'm joined, as always, by the two competitors for today's episode. Mark, sipping his fancy coffee mug and Wade. Something about a tapered coffee mug. It's just very elegant. And it's from the DMZ. Ooh. I too have a beverage.
Starting point is 00:01:53 It's mandarin orange. That is not what that looks like to me. Is that flavored water? Mandarin or and trust me the GE is there it is orange Anyway great I have a drink too we're all doing it guys if you've never seen this show before It's a show where the points are all made up and matter an incredible amount There's also coin flips It'll be funny unless it's not it's all kind it's everything the show is all things to all people and also nothing to nobody
Starting point is 00:02:24 Before we get into the topic for today's episode How's how you doing it's getting small I have a small talk. I've been doing quite a bit of five nights at Freddy's. It is so weird to play it again, and it is so embarrassing how little strength I have anymore in my gamer hands. Dude, getting old hell. I've gotten better. Even over the past week, I've gotten stronger. But when I was first trying to do it because doing the custom night 1020 modes in this, You have to have really fast, you know, controlled motion, which requires you to basically be tense, you know, with your grip and press buttons very quickly and responsibly.
Starting point is 00:03:05 After even an hour of playing, trying to practice and doing the things, I was moving like an old man just a pound of meat in a tube, you know, the tube of meat. And I've learned that that's a great like roller for, you know, for forearms. I put it on the countertop and I just imagine you like between nights you're like wiping the brow rubbing the meat I actually am and so it's it's been really really telling but you know kind of fun and also I have a little not much more but a little more respect for like streamers that play high competitive FPSs all day every day because it's like yeah it's actually uh who it's a workout or is it really there was a time where I was playing for like an hour and a half straight and because I was so tense up in my arms and shoulders. I was, I started sweating. It was 70 degrees. I have an air conditioner in here. It's just like, what the fuck? Holy, I've never had this ever in my life.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Dude, you, I literally got the slap tear playing a healer in an MMO, Lostark. Like, I, it popped while I was playing as a healer. We were doing this raid on repeat. We couldn't beat it. So like two hours of running this raid, I'm trying to heal everybody and there's just this loud pop and I'm just an excruciating pain and people are like, need a heel, need a I was like, yeah, I'm trying. God, just a lot of pain one second. And I'm getting yelled at because I'm not healing as well. And that's when I got the slap tear.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Yeah, gaming's no joke. When you're a teenager, early 20s, you got a mini fridge with like energy drinks. Our age, you got the freezer with the roll of meat next to your contest. I want to get like those. You can have like ice packs so you can wrap around. And I kind of will use them as wrist rests because they're got beads in them. So it's like they're kind of perfect beaded wristress. I've had to use one for my knee.
Starting point is 00:04:49 You get one of those big ones. You put it in a pillow case. Yeah, just wrap that sucker. Have you gotten gaming? or hands, game or cramp hands yet, Mark? That's the thing that I don't get injuries, but that's the thing my body likes to do. I'll be playing something super casual.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Like, I'll stream for a few hours and something really casual. I'm not even playing, like, fast pace. And then I feel fine. I'm like playing, playing. And then I stop playing. Like, I take a break or the stream ends. I mean, I lift my hands up and my hands just go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:14 And I like, can't move them for a minute. And I'm like, ah, fuck. God. I forgot to drink water for the last month. Fuck. That's like how I was when I burnt my hands. hands I haven't had that from playing games but definitely when I burnt my hands that would happen where periodically they would see right after the burn of course it was on the
Starting point is 00:05:31 way of the hospital so I'd be in the car and I would just be like oh it's not so bad burns like oh my god oh man that was glad that's over so it was this weird thing and that I can't imagine going through that that sounds absolutely miserable what do you even like you if you try to pass the time you can't like browse your phone that's the part of you you would use to do that so that you're like slamming your head into your lap like next I mean it wasn't I mean it was a long time ago now but like it was kind of before scrolling on your phone
Starting point is 00:06:04 was the thing to do I feel like that was still in the era where it was like oh I'm gonna go get on on dig it and click around the internet and you could kind of like I'm gonna go on Reddit but it's old Reddit it's different it's not like it is now but you probably just like watch watch shows or something right I mean it was that was a while ago yeah it wasn't it wasn't the worst thing. I think that as soon
Starting point is 00:06:24 as it got to the hospital, they made the mistake of putting the cuff on my arm for blood pressure, which all it does is squeeze blood down there. So they put that first. And I didn't question it, so I was just like, the machine goes bw-and. I'm like, oh no, here it comes.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Oh, no. Until the doctor comes and takes one looks, and, you know, it's bad when the doctor goes, yipes, you know, eyes bowl gently. Bw-wee, you know. Yeah, I've never seen the Scooby-Doo, Doctor.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I'm glad. She ripped off, put it on my leg, which I didn't realize was a possibility, but you could just put the blood pressure thing on your leg. So, yeah. I imagine it's more accurate on your arm, but good enough on the leg or something. I don't know. Yeah, probably. I never seen that either.
Starting point is 00:07:05 My blood pressure probably isn't the biggest issue for me when I burn my hands. Doctor comes in, like shakes your hands. Like, whoopsies. Looking great. High-fi. Oh, no, right. Sorry. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:07:18 You want to do a tutsy tickler? Oh, I'll just give him a clap on the shoulder. What do you got going on? Mandarin Orange guy. Pretty chill, actually. We had a nice chill weekend. Minimize social obligations for once, but doing a lot of Pokemon card hunting and opening.
Starting point is 00:07:34 I don't know, man. The hobbies, it's nice having a hobby, but my personality does not allow me to, like, dabble. I'm either all in on something or not in at all, and I know I'm like that. The gotcha era of my life taught me that. It's like, oh, I could just go for this one new unit
Starting point is 00:07:49 and use some, like, SRs or rarest. I'm like, nah. There's other banners. There's other super rairs. I could have a better team. Chiching, chiching, where is it?
Starting point is 00:07:59 1% drop rate, more like, 0.76, I'm below the average. Dude, I go, I go ham. And the Pokemon cards, I'm learning, someone messaged me earlier day,
Starting point is 00:08:07 they're like, hey, is this a good set to get? Chaos Rising. I was like, yeah, chaos rising's okay. And they're like, what about ascended heroes
Starting point is 00:08:12 are prismatic? No, the pool rates are abysmal. Trust me, I've opened 10 million packs. And I'm like, dude, I went from not knowing anything about this
Starting point is 00:08:20 to like advising people on the pull rates. I've gotten way too into this in two months. I'm glad I'm not like that as a person. I'm still, I'm definitely getting into Pokemon. I've decided I'm collecting pitch black because it's the newest one. It's the newest set that just came out and you can still get it on shelves.
Starting point is 00:08:35 But by whole stick, which I think I've told you guys is retail only. I've been looking and I've like, oh, Amazon sells Pokemon cards. No, it's like resellers and even the ones that are through Amazon are like clearly marked up. Like, I'm buying two packs at a time Every time I happen to be at a store that carries them.
Starting point is 00:08:52 The ETB that I got was an accident. I went into a store, a Walmart to get like washer fluid and like random house shit, right? And I just happened to see a guy in line and wandered over. I'll take one of the four ETBs you have today that you're just putting out and you have a security guard next to. Cool. ETB stands for Elite Trainer Box. It's the box of cars. Yeah, it's just a box.
Starting point is 00:09:16 It has, oh, sorry. Yeah, sorry, Mark. Sorry, Mark. I'm just laughing along, you know. He said something. Honestly, I only know what that one means. I swear to God, there's just a bunch of acronyms. And anyone who talks about Pokemon who does it, like Wade does it.
Starting point is 00:09:29 It's just like, oh, yeah, I got the Ascented Heroes GRS, and I got the three triple 10. And I'm like, what the fuck? What is all this shit? Like, it's packs of cards, right? What am I missing? But there's a bunch of different ways that they're. Yeah, I know like SIR is like the rarest ones or something. and then I know conditions like NM is near Mint, LP,
Starting point is 00:09:51 lightly played, MP, moderately played, HP, heavily played. It's like the condition, the more played it is the worst the condition is. I know that lingo. After that, I don't know all the lingo either. I will say, it's not new, I don't think, but if you want to be disillusioned about your collection of Pokemon cards, you should watch Ludwig's video where he let chat buy a bunch, like, there was like $10,000 worth of cards.
Starting point is 00:10:14 They like let it, helped him pick stuff and they bought a bunch. and they were some of them most of them were graded some of them were not I think or actually I think they were all graded but then he broke the case sent them to tag to get graded got a grade broke the case
Starting point is 00:10:27 sent them to another place to get graded and then sent them back to PSA because a lot of them started out as PSA and I don't know what the statistical breakdown is but they're all over the fucking place like it's just arbitrary he had one like he had ones where it was like this was a PSA 9
Starting point is 00:10:43 and then this these people gave it a six and then these people gave it a seven and a half and then I went back to PSA and they gave it a seven. I was like, so I just lost a thousand dollars and I paid them all for the privilege. Man, that's not a great investment, is it? If you get a good grade, don't do that. Leave it alone. I've never, I've not sent any cards in for grading. I kind of want to do it just to see how it works, but I have, I've only opened 20 packs, a couple dozen packs total. I don't have anything that would be interesting to grade yet. I doubt that's going to happen. If I don't go and buy from the card shops, like, and whatever, indulge all
Starting point is 00:11:16 the scalpers and people. The card shops are all right. The scalp scalping is rough. I'm glad you have a new I was going to call it an addiction that that feels mean. It kind of I mean a new hobby diction. I had old sets from the 90s like I had the original so it was called base then jungle then fossil base two rocket and then there were a couple other sets. I've got almost all of those complete because I just had them almost complete as a kid so I've been trying to like find the few cards here and they're missing to complete those sets and then I was working on a gym heroes and gym challenge series. which is the end of the first era, I guess, of Pokemon cards. And there's like another, it's divided into like eras for some reason.
Starting point is 00:11:52 I don't know. But all our old sets, I'm like, I kind of want to complete these. And then, you know, new sets, I'm kind of like, I don't know that I want to complete them all. I'll just go for the cards I like. And usually that ends up being the full arts cards, which means the whole card is artwork. So, yeah, I've gotten, I've gotten pretty deep. That sounds like it's good for you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Well, it's something to do. Rehab for my knees. Been going well. Did you walk yet? Yeah, actually, pretty well. I'm even doing stairs without having to, like, break up. I was walking like I was, you know, 99 years old and on my deathbed for a little bit. It seemed pretty bad.
Starting point is 00:12:21 It seemed worse than just needs some physical therapy. But I've gone about a week and a half with no brace, no knee brace, and moving pretty well, inclines and stairs can sometimes still give me issue. The physical therapy started off with some of the easiest stuff. They're like, all right, lay your leg down. Now straighten it. Do that 10 times. I was like, oh, hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Now we're at the port where they're like, all right, do 15 sets of 15 squats in the next 30 seconds. Wait, what? All right, cool. Now do 30 leg lifts. Do it on your side. Do 30 more. Sean T from insanity comes out. All right, five. Oh, thank you one. Yes, man.
Starting point is 00:12:56 I started off as like, Molly, this is so much easier. When I did physical therapy for my shoulder, it really hurt because I had to tear. My knee's not torn. This has actually been pretty good. And then the last time I went, dude, my hip, I'm like, my knee's feeling better. But now my hip hurts from the physical therapy. I get any more physical therapy for that. So I've been watching because other people that come
Starting point is 00:13:15 for physical therapy the same time as me and had had like hip replacements. So I'm watching their stretches and I've been going home doing those because of like my hips hurt so bad from the PT. Maybe I need to PT my hip too. So I've been doing exercises for kind of both things. But other than physical therapy and card collecting, not a whole lot here. Power Wash too. Have you played the Star Wars D.L.C? No, I have not. I've only been playing five nights of redis. The sprays make like blaster noises. Like constantly or just like every time? first click, if you're holding it, it doesn't, but if you like click, it's like, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot.
Starting point is 00:13:49 It's just a whole time you're holding it down. It's like a space battle. It's just like fucking chaos. Like, man, that's so relaxing. Oh, it's so good. It's actually so good. Anyway, I think that's it for me. If there's more, I don't remember it.
Starting point is 00:14:02 I got a little more and then I'll let it go. It's, uh, you know, nothing too crazy. Only GoPro is now dead to me. Again? No, they were never dead to me. Oh, oh, okay. No, this is only moderately, moderately something. There's only moderate death.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Only moderately dead to me. Only mostly did. I've been enjoying the mission one. It's been nice. Code Markler. Sorry, code distractible. I apologize. Oh, do we actually have that?
Starting point is 00:14:33 That's a real thing? Yeah, you've had that for weeks. Okay, good, okay. Oh, we've done so much good advertising for it. That's the thing. It's like eventually I'll record an actual review of the alert. So they're dead to me, right? because the ILS has been something I've been craving.
Starting point is 00:14:46 I went to NAB just to like try to get my hands on that. I have lenses I've already bought for that specifically. I'm so ready. I got adapters and everything. I'm so eager. I open my Instagram and there's someone named Gimbo God. That already has it and has been given to it by GoPro. And I feel betrayed.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Four days ago. Four days ago. Watch it be like the CEO of GoPro. I can't believe this guy got it before me Hold on, yeah, maybe who is it? Lead engineer on the ILS model of the GoPro mission This guy named GoPro owner
Starting point is 00:15:27 Got this GoPro before me Unbelievable, the betrayal No, no, I don't think that's it I don't think so, no no way, no way It's not Mr. Pro? I feel like, you know I'm right here, I got my guy GoPro shirt. I've got a GoPro shirt on.
Starting point is 00:15:44 You've worn that like the last couple episodes. You've been consistent. Have I? Oops. This one shirt. Well, no, you had a different one. I feel like last time we recorded you had a different GoPro shirt. I just remember being like, oh, he's wearing the shirt. Yeah, I do. But not anymore until I get an ILS. Is there a release date for it? Is it eminent? Or they just, is it one of those where they're not given a hard date for it? They've nebulously said Q3. So they just like got the last of the accessories for the
Starting point is 00:16:10 baseline out. They just got the media mod out finally and they got the, oh, there is going to have a medium odd. Yeah, yeah. And that's nice and all. That's nice. But really, I want the lenses. I want to be able to do the lenses. I love my little 3D printed macro adapter, but it's like, I have a dedicated macro lens waiting, multiple actually, macro lenses waiting to go on to the GoPro pro. I have them just I've talked about that for a while I'll be right back so I I forbid anyone from using my promo code or distractibles we are a united front in boycotting until we get I until we you get the thing you want we want comrades yeah the royal we me of it all you know the me I feel like that's very fair I feel like that's
Starting point is 00:17:06 That's on them. The solution is clear. There's another thing that's been a funny thing. When I've been doing Five Nights or Freddy's with this, you know, trying to beat it, I've actually had to do math. Oh, done, done. Oh, no. There is a certain amount of flashlight batter you have,
Starting point is 00:17:24 which amounts to 50 seconds in the whole night, which, you know, averages out to a little over nine seconds per minute of game to use it. But the smaller you press the button, the less battery you use, right? So I use the 960 frames for second mode to burst me pressing control to learn how bad I am at pressing this throughout the game. It can only do like 10 seconds at a time,
Starting point is 00:17:48 but I'll play it and I'll do kind of the pattern that I do for flashing. And I'm like, holy shit, I am holding that down so much more than I think. I think I press it three times. I looked at myself in slow motion. I was just holding it for three times and you see my knuckle go like,
Starting point is 00:18:02 but my finger is down on the button. the whole time. And I'm like, I had no idea. Holy shit. So for a sign. You're going to need a hall effect keyboard to get this shit under control. Oh, that's the Van Gogh, Pikachu. I've seen that one. I've seen that. That's fancy one. Wait, because I've been looking for a keyboard that has a lighter touch, because the problem with this one is it's, I thought it being clickier would be better, but there's a lot of force needed to press it down. And once it's down, it doesn't really spring back up with a lot of... I'm not like a keyboard expert. But I do know, I think it's Hall Effect switches, but it may be some other technology.
Starting point is 00:18:40 There's a kind of keyboard where you can literally calibrate the moment in the travel where it triggers and where the rebound is. Because with mechanical switches, like, it's a switch, right? You push it down and it goes click and it doesn't unclick until it travels back a certain amount. You can't adjust that. There are keyboards where that is calibrateable, where it's literally like you could set it to the lightest touch triggers it. but then the rebound is like at a specific height. So you could have, you could absolutely min-max year like flashlight. That would be so nice.
Starting point is 00:19:13 And I know it's a bit kind of like it's try hard to do it. But the thing is like this keyboard is, I imagine every crazy FPS person has that and the mouse. It is. I do know of that because of the Valorant and CS2 competitive scenes is where I've like heard about this. So it's definitely like an e-sports thing. The annoying thing about it is you can't rebind the key. So in Five Nights of Freddy's 2, the flashlight is control.
Starting point is 00:19:36 You can't change that to anything else. Or I would change it to the other mouse button, which is not used. Right click is not used. Wait, but you can rebind the keys through your keyboard mouse software. I use Logitech for everything. So, well, except for this keyboard, but I generally use Logitech. So on my gaming computer, you can set any button you want to be any input you want, and you can set buttons on your mouse to be keyboard inputs.
Starting point is 00:19:59 So you can't rebind it in game, but you could set it so your right click is a left control. input while you're playing five nights. So you could switch that to an optimal. Because you can click so much faster than you can ever press a button. Like clicking is, it's the light's little it's so fast. You, wait, Mark, I have a theory that I would love you to try. You can bind key presses to your scroll wheel. So if you just flick the scroll wheel, like you just go like it'll be like like every little notch will be a press. So you could literally just be like, Look, I'm not beating the cheating allegations if I do that on this. This is just rebinding things.
Starting point is 00:20:41 This is just using what's available. This is not hacking the game file. Okay. We're going to go back and they'll be like, oh, well, this person beat 20, 20, 20, 20, Moe using legit controls. Mark rebound his flashlight. Or you could do the mouse technique that I think a lot of RTS players do. There's a certain kind of tape you can put on your fingers.
Starting point is 00:21:01 and then you like, when you're using your mouse, instead of clicking, you like flick and drag and that stickiness of the tape makes it like bounce. And that's how RTS players get like several hundred inputs a minute of like constant, just like fucking clicking at a thousand clicks a second kind of bullshit. Also not cheating, totally allowed in e-sports. I feel like that's pretty legit. In the game, if you, the thing is you don't need to click a lot. You just need to click really small when you need to click.
Starting point is 00:21:30 So you're not clicking all the time. You're just like, when you're going through the cameras, you've got to go, and click at the same time that you're left clicking. So if I could have it to my mouse, then it would be at the same speed. I could basically just go, you know, one after another and be really quick. But, you know. Look, I can help you. I'll be your coach.
Starting point is 00:21:48 I don't know anything about Five Nights of Freddy's, but I know all kinds of stuff about competitive video games that I've never been able to do myself. We're going to have Torbet coaching, FNAF coaching. Can I get coached on bald or something? I don't know. What do I do? My e-sports coach had put me in in the championship in high school. We would have won state, and I've never been able to let that go.
Starting point is 00:22:06 I've gotten to 5 a.m. multiple times. The problem is my power right now. So it's like if I can quick and speed up my flashlight press by like 15%. That's all I need. I would make it to the end of the night. Even 10% might get me there. Rebinding right to control might totally save your ass. You could totally do it.
Starting point is 00:22:25 It's probably native to what you use Corsair or I don't know. It's a razor, ma. It's been so long since I've played. Is it start at 10 p.m. or midnight? Midnight to 6 a.m. So it's like I'm in the last hour and I run out of power that's happened about 10 times now. And I've gotten better at it, but it's still, it's so hard in the panicky moments to not, you know, flash hard. I cannot wait for Mark to redo his bathroom.
Starting point is 00:22:49 He's like, I had to rebuild the 2015 computer. I'm using my toilet for power. I have to have Amy flush it in order to get the cooling going so that the perfect. refresh rate from 2015 is back. There's a quirk in the game where if you flush your toilet, it creates a magnetic spiral that will affect your computer to give you perfect R&G each time. Can't wait. I'm excited for that video upload.
Starting point is 00:23:13 This is unrelated, except for the Conspiracy Theory part. On TikTok, I keep getting served videos from this person, and I can't tell if it's completely serious or if it's just a bit and it's going over my head. But the videos are all called like, quantum lattice hoverboard, attempt, number 13, great success. And then it's a guy with like a little tech deck skateboard on a desk. It's just a close up video. And it has a bunch of shit taped on it.
Starting point is 00:23:38 And he just keeps going, well, that was a really good one. Like he's trying to get it to be a hoverboard. And I keep showing up. And every time I see it, I get a little bit more paranoid about if our existence is real or if the timelines are overlapping or something. But I hope it's a bit. In my heart of hearts, I feel like it's a bit. But also, what if he's on to some.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Or on something. Or on something. Might be. It might be. Anyway, if you need esports tips, Mark, I got on, you're back, man. I got, we can do this? I'll help you with your Pokemon card collection, Mark. If I help you, can I be, can I be like the jester of five nights at Freddy to your king?
Starting point is 00:24:15 Can I be the Duke of Five Knights at Freddy? Can you, like, give me a lordship? You'll have a fiefdom. You'll have a fiefdom. Perhaps a manor? Hmm. Yeah, I guess you need, without a, Duke can't have, not have a manner. Can I be a cattle?
Starting point is 00:24:29 Just in general or? Yeah, just in general. You can be one of my cattle. I'll make you a cattle. All right. I'm not going to do anything to help you guys with feneff, but I'll just be a cow if that's cool. At the end of the season, we'll quarter you up
Starting point is 00:24:40 and put most of you in the freezer and then it'll be delicious. Oh, cow version of oats. I know what that means. Oh, you mean the big bit. I'm really banging on all cylinders today. I will get the segue point. Wade could get the segue point, and maybe I'll give it to you.
Starting point is 00:24:59 you because it feels stupid to give it to myself. But can I just say, my foot is messed up. I complained about this last time. It's still messed up. It's potentially going to take a couple months to heal all the way up. Months. What'd you do? I have a big fucking open wound on the bottom of my foot.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Well, yeah, I know. I don't know if you ever told us from what caused it. Poor foot care? Poor foot care? Poor. Poor. I thought he said whore. Broke-ass foot care.
Starting point is 00:25:24 It's not that crazy. It sounded like what he said. Yeah, I hired a hooker. She really messed up my. My foot. Maybe I was insulting the brand of products I was using. Those horrors messed up my foot. God damn, Saravi.
Starting point is 00:25:36 I would never talk bad about you, Saravi. Best. I love you guys. I know Sarah B. That's a Pokemon. I don't know Saravi. Or Sarave people say, which I think is wrong. Anyway, it's just a brand of like skincare products.
Starting point is 00:25:47 But they're very good. They have very good unscented lotion. My foot's all fucked up at a point in time where what I want to do most in my free time is drive to all the stores in my area and see if they have any of the Pokemon cards on the shelf for retail that I can buy. Because I can't order them. If I could order them online, I would. But anyway, my foot's messed up.
Starting point is 00:26:07 I'm not supposed to be walking, so stay off as much as possible. And that is the topic of today's episode. I need your help. And I know we've done this a lot in the past, but the premise on this one is a little bit different. I need your help. Each of you is going to suggest to me things that I can do to entertain myself without having to use my foot.
Starting point is 00:26:29 But I'm going to pick the top thing that each of you ends up offering me. And I'm going to do them in the next week. And whomever's thing I prefer in actually... And I'm going to record myself on my GoPro Mission 1, even though they're dead to Mark. I'm going to record myself doing them and then give you feedback. And whoever's I like the most, that's a bounty. The bounty is give Bob hobbies that will keep him entertained. because I try.
Starting point is 00:26:59 I was like, I can't really give you a point. Whoever wins, because I'm keeping points. Whoever wins this, I can't give someone points next week when I'm not to host. Presumably I won't be.
Starting point is 00:27:09 But I feel like I can create a bounty, right? Is this okay? Is this within the guidelines? Is everyone okay with that? So I want to create this bounty and I'm going to do whatever it is we come up with. I'm going to do it both of your ideas for the next week. And then it's fair and honest.
Starting point is 00:27:27 as possible pick who gets the bounty points in the next episode. I have this titled in my notes as, please be nice, because I immediately was like, we always do like fuck-ass things to each other, and it's always like, oh, well, I need to wash my car help. And we're like, well, piss on it.
Starting point is 00:27:45 And then rub some shit in there. It'll polish it up. I'm going to do this. Please, I have. Mark, this is our chance. We could go real hard on him. Remember that sour challenge? He was too sick to do.
Starting point is 00:27:53 That's not a hobby. Your hobby is eating sour shit. shit. Oh, God. Just eat sour candy for three straight hours. But anyway, the floor is open. I feel like you guys know me pretty well.
Starting point is 00:28:07 You know, I like, you know what I like. I like tech. I'm recently in upon all these things. But I would like suggestions. It could be stuff that you enjoy. It could be things that you feel like I might enjoy. Could be anything. It could be something none of us know anything about.
Starting point is 00:28:22 I will try it as long as it conforms to, I'm supposed to walk as little as possible. I can go play. If it's like I need to go somewhere and walk inside and sit down, I can totally do that. But Wade, you look pregnant with an idea. Oh, thanks man. I've been working on that. Well, you don't look pregnant with a baby, so I feel like that was obvious.
Starting point is 00:28:40 What you got? Help me out. So this one's more of something I've really enjoyed I've been getting more into. You're getting into the Pokemon cards. So whenever I started looking into the cards, whenever I started getting back into Pokemon in general, so I played every mainline Pokemon game except for like Gen 3 when it first came out, because it was just a phase of my life where I thought I was too cool for Pokemon or something. And after Gen 5, like black, white, black, two whites, too, I kind of like, eh, I'm not really enjoying the games quite as much anymore. And then looking at the cards and stuff, it's like, I don't have a connection to any of the new Pokemon because I didn't really give a shit about any of their games.
Starting point is 00:29:12 One of the ways I've really gotten a feel for enjoying more variety of Pokemon and getting a more appreciation is through some fan-made Pokemon games. There's been some really crazy fan games and, like, ROM hacks that have been a lot of fun. there's one called Emerald Rogue, which turns Pokemon into like a rogue like and it's really fucking difficult. If you like challenges, it's really hard. Pokey Rogue, I think I've told you about, Pochayrog is like a web browser game. You can play it on your phone. You can play it on your tablet, computer, whatever.
Starting point is 00:29:40 It's just a web browser. That one's also challenging, but it gets easier over time because every time you catch something, you have a chance of starting with it the next time. You can lower cost to have more things on your team. Like, it'll make sense as you get into it. I still play Pokemon Rogue. I've been dabbling in it for forever. And out of a thousand, 25 Pokemon, I'm missing four total in my decks.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Like, I've almost completed the full decks at this point. Good gravy. But, I mean, I play half hour to an hour increments, and it's like, okay, and I'll come back. Can you play that on mobile? I feel like I've seen, you can't play it on like your phone or your iPad or something. Yeah, yeah. Poker Rogue you can. And some of the fan games you can.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Like the ROM hacks, you can as well. I still recommend owning the game, right? Like, I own, I don't download games I don't own. So I'll own Pokemon Emerald before I'll do something like that. Some of the fan games are also really good. There's Pokemon Unbound. And I just started one called Pokemon Rejuvenation. Rejuvenation increases the shiny rate.
Starting point is 00:30:34 So you can shiny hunt. It's like a one in 100 chance of getting a shiny instead of one and 5,000. You could just restart for 20 minutes and get a shiny starter if you want. I just started streaming that one recently. I've been having a lot of fun with it. Interesting. Different Pokemon fan games and stuff. I think one are more fun than a lot of the mainline games have been lately.
Starting point is 00:30:52 and you can play them, a lot of them on mobile. Some of the fan games, you can't because they're not. You can do it on Android. Maybe you're an Android guy. I can't do it on iOS. But those give me a new appreciation for a lot of the Pokemon. Whenever I see the cards, I'm like, oh, here's this Pokemon I didn't give a fuck about. But like, now I do because it helped me in Pokeyrog a lot and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:31:09 So I think it makes it more fun. I could do that. I like video games. And they're really fun and interesting games. Some of them have like their own versions of Pokemon. They're called Fakeemon. Like they'll make their own regional variants or their own Pokemon, which I was kind of eh on at first, but I'm also like, oh, those are kind of cool.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Now, good suggestion. Bark, you look like you're pregnant too. Yes, I am. Bob, have you ever considered day trading? I have actually, yes. Now, I'm not saying it's for everybody, only for the bravest among you, right? You don't even need to understand what you're buying. You don't need to do any research.
Starting point is 00:31:47 You just need to look at charts, right? Yeah, there's something, I forget the name of it, but it's like the study of the chart is all you need to know about the future. Just like, you know, you take a bunch of animal bones and you shake them in your hand, you go, and you're like, oh, I see the future. Is that what witches do? Among other people, not just witches, but, you know, I'm just saying in general. Witches, small children, lots of people do it with. Where do you think pick up sticks came from? It used to be pick up bones.
Starting point is 00:32:17 And then people started learning the truth and not picking them. up because you have to be able to see to understand exactly so all you need to do is get some fancy lines get a marker get a get an erasable monitor right or something like that or you could have your phone you could do on your phone too I was like what so you mean a whiteboard no you're like a monitor I could draw on I guess you could just get a dry erase marker you know but like a zoomer being like this should make something like an erasible monitor like you could write on it but then you wipe it Does that, is it erascible monitor?
Starting point is 00:32:52 Is that what that's called? Remember pencils and paper in the old days, man? No, you got to see it on the chart. What, you're going to have your chart on the paper? You got to draw the chart each time? No, you got to just start drawing lines and stuff. Yeah, you're just trying to scrape that little bit of profit every time. Boom, boom, boom, boom.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Is this the kind of thing we need to wear a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and unbuttoned on the top and you look a little sweaty and disheveled? And you have like the tie on that's also partially undone? I'll make my Charlie from It's Always Sunny. room with the red yarn on the board and yeah actually i forgot i forgot in crucial detail you need six monitors or nine depending like six or nine oh no i know you're surrounded by charts buy here sell here buy here buy here buy buy sell so don't even need your feet does day trading include four x i'm going to say yes i don't know what that means well because mark got kind
Starting point is 00:33:44 of into four x a little bit when we were in college and i was always really jealous because I didn't have any money, but you were, like, showing me the charts and stuff and be like, look, this is a, this is a, this is a, this is a, this one's going to be a rebound. And I was like, God, that does sound fun. I would do that if I had any dollars at all. For everyone at home, this was a long time ago when I was very dumb. Don't do this. This is a joke.
Starting point is 00:34:09 It was in a period when you were also like hunting for shit to care about because like you're, it was in college. Like, everyone does stuff in college. No, I would, this was before any of my. health stuff. It was it was like software year or something like junior I can't remember but I do remember one trade going bad and me sitting in like a public bathroom looking at my phone just hyperventally and like oh fuck oh fuck oh go back up oh no so I learned my lesson and I don't do that but you could I yeah I think I think you're saying that I should but my grandpa used to delve
Starting point is 00:34:45 into like whenever I turned 11 he was like all right son you're too old to get toys We're gonna give you a stock. And I was like, okay, grandpa, but like this new video game sounds really, no. Nude video game, eh? We're gonna buy stock in Chiquita. And we put like $100 in Chiquita banana and like it boomed. And we went from 100 to like a thousand. And he was like, all right, now we're gonna take the down.
Starting point is 00:35:07 We're gonna dump it all into Ford Motor Company. And then Ford like fucking crashed and we lost it all. We're gonna let it ride. So I went from like, oh God, grandpa, I got a thousand. I could buy like a new bicycle. He's like, no, we're putting it into Ford
Starting point is 00:35:23 and Ford just hanged. He's like, sometimes you lose, son. I was like, I just wanted the new boy. It couldn't have gone to zero though, right? Because Ford's still around, so. No,
Starting point is 00:35:36 I might, it might even still exist. I might need to do one of those recovery things where like, oh yeah, I've got stock and something from like, you never sold. So you never lost.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Yeah, that's still worth the exact same amount that it was when you put, it in because it's, you know, you don't have to, you don't have to convert that, you have to do the new value until you transfer it again. Yeah, I got like one share of stock a year for like three years. I'm sure I'm rich now if I look at it. What was this like 1942? Well, how old do you think I have? I have suspicions. I have suspicion. What was the stock market invented? I'm assuming it was soon after that. Were these physical pieces of paper handwritten or were they
Starting point is 00:36:14 printed with a printing press? Okay, I see where it went down. If it was like 2000, or something and then it went down. It has not recovered since then. So you probably have the same amount. All right. I still got my three shares at $1 a piece. But if there's dividends, if there's dividends, you might actually have a good amount of money.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I remember back when I was alive during the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression and things were rock bottom. I was like, ooh, buyers market everyone. And they were begging for bread. Good times, good times. Was this an online thing though? Or did you like literally did you like have a? a paper thing.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Oh, my grandpa, we had, the good old Windows, like, XP computer. We'd go to, like, some website,
Starting point is 00:36:57 I think. And we get, uh, the letters in the mail from, I don't know, whoever. It's been, it's been years.
Starting point is 00:37:02 I mean, honestly, you should look just because I'm curious, but I don't know. I don't know how that works. I don't know if, have you ever looked at unclaimed property? No.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Because I don't know if that works for stocks, but like, you know, there's like, there'll be cash in your name and the unclaimed property thing. If you, like, search on the state records or something.
Starting point is 00:37:19 I've got a few rich uncles somewhere in the Middle East that I've gotten emails from over the years, but I've not looked at unclaimed cash. Uncle Prince. Yeah. You have the same one? Yeah, we all have Uncle Prince. He's King now. He was formerly known as Prince.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Oh, I see. Anyway, that's my idea. I like that. And Wade, if you don't find those shares of stock. I will never forgive you. Yeah, it says their dividend is like 4%. I don't know if it's always been that, but if that was like 20 years ago, that's a lot of Weid finds his three shares of stock and the people at Ford are like, ah, fuck.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Shit, I did we thought he died. God damn it. He actually owns the company now. I come back in here. I'm just wearing a tire crown. Boys, it's me. King Ford. God, he really understands the companies.
Starting point is 00:38:07 You should be in charge. You're the guy, man. This is what they get for getting, doing away with the tire crown. I have my axle rod scepter, my tire crown. Look, I'm still mad at it. four because they're going to discontinue the WF150 Lightning so you get over there and you give them what four. I'll tell them man
Starting point is 00:38:25 I'm going to go over and I'm going to give them the what for I own that company now. Two strong suggestions. We might just end the episode there and I'll just pick those because those both sound very good but let's not though. Wait, what else should I do to fill my sad sad time when my foot
Starting point is 00:38:41 doesn't, I mean it hurts a little. It's sore you know and it's like ah God come on foot doesn't hurt that bad but I'm so sad about it and I'm stuck Stuck in here. I don't know how you feel about these, but this is something I personally want to do because I've not watched these in forever. I want to do a Batman movie marathon where I go back and I watch even like the old like
Starting point is 00:39:00 Like all the way of Adam West. I've never watched those. I might go back that far, but at least like, you know, the 80s, 90s like Batman, Batman forever, Arnold Schwarzenegger Freeze and up through the Nolens and then Pattinson's Batman. I've also never watched the Penguin series. But anyway, I used to love Batman as a kid. That was like my favorite superhero. so I got super into it and my dad and I used to watch.
Starting point is 00:39:21 So I kind of just want to go back and rewatch all those to see how they all hold up. Because I've got memories of like Christopher Walkin in one of the Batman movies and I'm not seen it since I was a kid. So I'm like, who was he? But I feel like whenever I picture him, I combine him with like, what was it, Marv from home alone, like the, when he gets shocked. I feel like they're the same. Like those images are blurred in my mind.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I must see this movie and sort out the memories. I want to do a Batman movie marathon. So maybe maybe you'd enjoy like a movie marathon of, one of your old favorite franchises or Batman or something. Oh, it doesn't have to be Batman necessarily. Well, that's the one I'm suggesting specifically, but like, I don't know if Batman's for you. I mean, I do love, generally love the Dark Night trilogy, and I like Batman. As far as, for someone who doesn't care that much for superheroes in general,
Starting point is 00:40:06 Batman's definitely near the top of the list where I'm like, yeah, I'll watch Batman. Knitting. You might genuinely enjoy knitting. You boring piece of shit. You look like someone Oh man, waiting earned points I had to commit to You just look like you need the thrill
Starting point is 00:40:30 of two knitting needles and constant movement I wonder how many people that watch this knit And they're just so angry right now Threatening you with their needles Dude, a lot A lot of them are probably crocheting But a lot There's so many times
Starting point is 00:40:44 I'm sure you guys know this podcast where you'll start a sentence and you'll be like, it'll be really funny if you say this instead. It's going to cost you dearly. It's going to cost you. But anyway, but knitting, knitting. It's a very relaxing and you can do it while watching other things. It's something where you're working with your hands.
Starting point is 00:41:03 And you do need to pay attention a little bit, but it's more forgiving than say like crocheting or there's a, I think there's a meme between like knitting and sewing or knitting in something else where it's like you can just accidentally whip up an entire sweater. I'm not sure. if it is knitting or which one's easier. I'm not sure which one's easier, but... Honestly, Mandy has crochet stuff
Starting point is 00:41:22 and has crocheted things. So I don't... I could maybe order some knitting needles or something, but, like, I think we have like some yarn and shit I could use. Oh, yeah, crocheting is one hooked needle. Knitting is two sticks. Knit one, pearl two, whatever the fuck that means. And crocheting is just crochet.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Crochet. That's the... You have to say it out loud every time. Crochet. It's like bingo. It doesn't count if you don't say it out loud. You don't do that long. You didn't say crochet.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Well, you do specifically mean knitting. Yeah, knitting. I think knitting could be fun. You could get into it. And it's just a repeatable pattern as far as I know. And you can kind of aimlessly do it while watching your movie marathon. I could get all this out of the way all at once and not have to do any of the stupid shit you guys are telling me to do. And you could date at the same time.
Starting point is 00:42:12 With my one good. I'm over here day trading like a madman. Yeah, exactly. You just time the trades to when you get to the end of a line. It's like you buy or sell at the end of it. And so you just leave it up to fate because honestly, random chance would be better. Is it ding like a typewriter when you get to the end of the line?
Starting point is 00:42:30 We're going to be rich. We're going to make smart needles with a speaker in it that know when it's at the end of the line. It just brings back all the classic like 90s noises like, you've got mail. Why? Why that one? Yeah, you can customize your needles to give you whatever. noises you want. You're so right. You started that so confidently like it would be related.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Oh, yeah. I relate to what I said, don't you? You know how we sell $700,000 in product in the first six months? AI powered knitting needles. Oh my God. Use AI to tell when it's time for you to move to the next row. Boom. Everybody loves AI. Everybody wants it in everything. If AI was real and we didn't have some really shitty versions of VI. You know, AI's not real. It's real in the way that language works. Well,
Starting point is 00:43:20 we call it AI, but like in the technical, historical definition of artificial intelligence, we're not really reached that yet. We have just really shitty virtual intelligence. I agree with him. I like the Mass Effect definition of like virtual intelligence better than what it currently is.
Starting point is 00:43:34 I like that a lot. Well, do you have any more ideas that you want to throw out? So another thing from my childhood. I used to love doing Jigsaw. puzzles, but not only are their normal jigsaw puzzles, right? The 100 piece, thousand piece, whatever. There was a puzzle I did as a kid. It was like four different puzzles that was like jungle canopy, jungle like floor bottom, like the plains. And I figured that were like a river or something.
Starting point is 00:43:58 And once you built each one of these, you could take off the outside lines and put them together. And it was one big puzzle that made one image. It was just really cool. On top of that, there were like the 3D puzzles. So my grandpa and I built like a house one time where it was just little foam puzzle pieces. You put it together and ultimately it was like this little house and stuff. I got a lot of satisfaction out of doing puzzles as a kid. I'm not done one in a while, but I kind of had the itch to do one. And I guess if I was off of my feet for a while, that'd be another thing I'd want to do is some kind of combo jigsaw puzzles. If I get a puzzle and then invite you over and have you do it for me.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Does that count as me doing it? It's like watching a let's play. Did you have a gaming experience by watching someone else play the game for you? I mean, I guess so. Yes, I've played many games that way. But yeah, I mean, I guess it would count. to clarify there's absolutely no feet at all possible like I can walk
Starting point is 00:44:49 I can walk short distances I can I it's not like I can't stand up I can walk around the house and I can go as long as I'm not wandering around a grocery store I can walk like this is perfect no no this is perfect okay all right so you couch you go to your cupboard you grab a box of Kleenex right and you bring it over you go to your wherever your laptop is you grab that you go to your bathroom or whatever grab bottle of lotion okay you're gonna need all these you put one on the other one side one the other open up your laptop type in b o b i e s hit enter just start clicking
Starting point is 00:45:24 it's the most fun you can have with your hands and out your feet i don't want to see this redeem happen but like i guess that's true put it on the bounty board it's on there it's on the list for consideration i forgot these are going on the bounty board Oh, here's a video of me looking at porn, guys. Hey, that'll be a hell of a bounty if we've, very desperate need points to win, like nail bite or end of the season, that's a bounty to pull out. I never thought we would top the piss yourself for a win, but here we are. Listen, if this podcast ever gets that high stakes, it will be there.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Exactly as described. I didn't, I didn't say anything else, I just said. You were just saying to watch porn and have those things within reach. Some laptops are real dry, so you gotta keep your hands moist your eyes to use your mouse and keyboard. I get you. Absolutely. I've been, you know, it's been real dry around here too. And you ever just see B-O-O-B-I-E-S that just bring a tear to your eyes?
Starting point is 00:46:24 You need a clean X to like dab the tears? That's the only word I ever spelled on calculators, so I'm assuming I'll come across some interesting, you know, like retro collectible calculators potentially as well, which I have another idea, too. Is it Wade's turn or should I just go straight up? There aren't any turns. Go, Mark. Okay, all right. So you go on eBay, you get yourself a classic Ti-83 plus silver edition. You go to wherever the hell there's the drug trader game.
Starting point is 00:46:51 You go to get the Dragon Ball Z-R-PG game. Get those installed on TI-83. You all have the best time of your life. Games on TI-83 just hit different somehow. They weren't the most graphically intense, but they were the most satisfying to play. playing games in math class on the Ti 83 plus it was like snake and I forget one other game
Starting point is 00:47:11 it was like if you were in class it was like the most fun thing you could ever do it like those games fucking suck man instead of doing work those games weren't the study hall oh god yeah I play video game and then you got the cable you could share with someone like dude I got that der mafia game
Starting point is 00:47:28 you gotta find the person who has the cable so you could share the files across because you gotta make sure you have all the coolest shit Man, do you imagine, do you think you guys, if I told you, I'm going to pay you like $10,000, if by tomorrow you can have a programmed version of those games without using any kind of AI or anything like that? Do you think you could do it? Like you could learn the programming and search up the commands to create like the mafia drug trader game or something like that? Well, probably because like if there's things like RPG maker and stuff out there, there's got to be something, some template you could use. But on the TI 83.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Like I don't even know what language is programmed in No, my brain would not work that way I would try, but I think realistically I could not make that happen, no Even go back and more how to turn one of those things on Would be an achievement for me today much less There's a big button labeled on That's a start
Starting point is 00:48:22 You didn't have one of the pool cord T IAAG Teacher wait I usually had one of the hand crank ones Like the weather radios See their clashes like E, E, E is a plastic, yeah, God, fuck. You don't get tasked, and everyone, like, just cranking it. You can't stop, because if you stop, everything falls out of memory.
Starting point is 00:48:44 If you want to see what you're working on, you got to crank endlessly. I was always jealous of the kids who had the chest harness where you only needed one hand to crank, and you could use your other hand for stuff. This is, like, one of those one-man band where the harmonica is, but they got a... Yeah, yeah, yeah. They got a little monkey, actually, cranked their T-I-83. To hit enter on the calculator, you're like, kick your leg,
Starting point is 00:49:06 goosh, enter. Ah, but you can't use your leg. I can't use my feet. I could use my leg. All right, another idea. One man band. Get a big drum on your back. Get cymbals, get harmonica,
Starting point is 00:49:17 get whatever else. Hell, he had. He had the one guy. That one man, what did he have in his band? Go back, re-listen to old albums, like CDs from the 90s,
Starting point is 00:49:26 2000s, like actually pop out the old CD player. I thought you were just going to let Mark rack up the points with him. No, he was starting to. I'm like, no, I can't let this happen. Old gaming consoles, go play like Nintendo, try to beat like Super Mario again.
Starting point is 00:49:39 I do have an N64 right there. I was thinking even older. I was thinking like Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo, but okay, if, if, you know those automatic breadmakers? I have one of those, I think. Okay, how long do you think it would take you to make one, like the loaf to prepare to put in there? It's pretty easy, actually.
Starting point is 00:49:55 You pretty much just dump the shit in. It doesn't take very long at all. Like 10 minutes, right? Like, yeah, like less than 10 minutes, easy. Alright, cool. By 12. You start one, put it in, start the other, put it in, start the other, put it in. By the time you get to the end, the first one's done, put that out, set it aside, make another one, put it in. You have a bread-making empire. You start your own business of making bread. Artisanal bread. Opposite. You get a bunch of people's addresses and you go find random stuff on like different shipping apps, like DoorDash, whatever, and you find things that don't really make sense and you ship it to different people. And whenever they give you reactions, you laugh. You get to watch the things be delivered so you know when the reaction. actions coming from whatever you're sending them. What'd you call that?
Starting point is 00:50:34 Prank. Prank deliveries? Yeah, prank deliveries. Even better. You become a DoorDash middleman. You find people that want to make a DoorDash order. They order with you instead. You then order through DoorDash for them to their house.
Starting point is 00:50:49 You make a cut and you're just crushing business. You could scale this up to thousands. No, I like that because I think there are people, specific people from maybe from older generations who are like, I wish I could just call someone on the phone. you know, I could be the DoorDash phone service where they could just call me, they'll talk to me, real person, and then, yeah. You become a DoorDash bottom man where you find things you want on DoorDash and have them delivered to you.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Well, I already do that. That's not really a new hobby. Well, it could be if you go ham and buy things you haven't bought before. Hey, look, I've bought some silly stuff on DoorDash, okay? Not crazy, but I did buy a hedge trimmer on DoorDash one time. I bought an umbrella for a wedding on DoorDash once for the bride. Doomsday device. You do a lot of research into nuclear bombs and you figure out a way to get fissile material to your house, start assembling it into an implosion device, and then you have a nuke. The journey is the reward. It's not about the angle. You get the most luxurious flotation device. What's what I'm looking for? Like float. And you spend your days floating around.
Starting point is 00:51:59 a pool just like sipping on drinks and browsing your phone and like the most just elaborate comfy float you can find i like that there's an aspect of danger to that because i can't get my leg wet because it's fully wrapped up to my knee and stuff i'm not supposed to get wet so it'd have to be i have to just actually get a boat i love boat if i get a boat you come over you hang out in the boat with me in the pool even crazier we open some really expensive Pokemon cards while floating on the water where the cards nor you can get wet we could call it drippy rips Dripy Rit. I don't like that name, but I love the idea.
Starting point is 00:52:31 Just call me Captain Dripy Rip. I got it. You impersonate Reddit comment bots. You start commenting on random subreddits in the same cadence that the bot replies do also say in, but in your official account. So you start really confusing people. Everyone thinks you're a bot, but you know in your heart of hearts that you're a human, and therefore you get enjoyment out of it because you're tricking everybody.
Starting point is 00:52:57 the ultimate ruse. It can really freak some people out too. Because I think I'm a bot and I can just respond and be like, I'm definitely not. Get a camera and like a little microphone you can strap to your shirt and start filming yourself pretending to be like a news anchor and you just make up whatever news stories you want, but you post them to a new YouTube channel and you post them as if they are completely real and see how many people think that you're a legit news organization and start buying into whatever stories you make up.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Probably a lot. first internal live stream. You swallow a camera that is live stream capable. You have a feeding tube placed in. Use that not for feeding, but for having the power wire to go through. And then it's a con- Never mind, this is going to be some fetish bullshit. We'll call it the go-no. I retract my statement entirely. It's written down. He can't retract it now. That guy's got his tissues and his lube. What's he? It's about to hit the small intestine. It's about to hit the small intestine. We're in, boy! I'll call it Magic School Bus Live. It'll be like nostalgia.
Starting point is 00:54:00 The sound to the sound is just my guts gurgling and the faint muffled me just singing the song. And then I made me see this. And Lizzie's there. It's great. Oh yeah, Lizzie, yeah. I think that's enough. Which option you're going to pick?
Starting point is 00:54:19 Yeah, I think I have things to pick from and I have to do these things. And they'll probably be great. Probably. Question before we start doing points. Do we do bounties now? Do we do bounties after you tabulate points? I actually did one for once.
Starting point is 00:54:31 You did a bounty? What the fuck? Yeah, I don't remember when we turn them in. I was about to jump to points, so now is fine. On the official bounty board. Number eight, change shirts mid-episode without anyone noticing. I started off with this. And now I'm here.
Starting point is 00:54:49 That's very impressive. I didn't notice at all. I did that. I was like, I literally would look at this. I was like, what is the laziest possible bounty I could pick? And I was like, change shirts. I wasn't even thinking to defend from a U bounty because I assumed you would never do one. I had to, you guys both have done one.
Starting point is 00:55:10 I was like, I got to get at least one on the board, so I'm at least to say I've done it. That's good. That's good. I did it, guys. That's completely legit. I don't know if it's worth anything other than like a point, but like I did it. I ask this every time it comes up. Is it one point or two points?
Starting point is 00:55:25 It's one point. I think it's host discretion. It's like one to three or two to three or whatever. One point for changing a shirt is adequate for me. I think we were supposed to separate out the difficult ones and rank him as like, it should be like based on difficulty. But I feel like he did well because it's a completely different colored shirt and we really should have noticed. I tried to make it where it like it wasn't like, oh, okay, you went from like dark red to,
Starting point is 00:55:45 I was like, okay, let me do something that would actually. Wait, so did you have that Pokemon card already or was that just part of the ruse? Oh, that was part of the ruse, baby. So you didn't just get that, though. So that's some of my excitement about... Well, I did just get it, but not today. But it's really cool, isn't it? It does look cool.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Yeah. I can't believe they got Van Gogh to make a Pokemon card. It's the only thing he ever did in his life, right? What else was he known for other than Pokemon cards? Dying, I guess. I showed this to the Molly, and her response was, why does it have two ears? Ha! It's not him as Pikachu.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Geez. Anyway, that's it. That's my bounty. I know it's a crazy, amazing one, but I did it. Well, wait. Wade gets an extra bounty point. Yeah, I got to tell you, my thought, you guys were talking about, like, Mark was talking about lenses and stuff. I was like, okay, this is something he's really passionate about.
Starting point is 00:56:29 He'll be really focused. I'm going to leave. They're not going to give an absolute fuck. I'll come back. I'll have something to distract him with. And they'll have no idea. It's true. I'm shocked.
Starting point is 00:56:39 I assumed Wade would just never engage with that at all. Me too. That's the only one you're ever going to do. I'm pretty sure. But you've officially done as many as both Mark and myself. You've only done one, right, Mark? Two, I think. Oh, well, it wasn't me.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I've definitely only done one. Yeah, I got the picture of Chica in a shirt, and then I did play the games during... That's right. You did the games in the background. Sorry, I just realized I'm insane, and I skipped a bunch of pages in my score notebook for no reason whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:57:06 I mean, three, four pages, but still. Anyway, points in no particular order. Wade, you earned points for injuring yourself while playing an MMO, becoming fully addicted to Pokemon, injuring yourself during physical therapy to heal your other injury. cow version of oats
Starting point is 00:57:23 reference you got the segue points for Pokemon oh you also got a point for being alive during the Dust Bowl and then your recommendations were Pokemon fan games Batman or other movie marathon puzzles re-listen to old albums
Starting point is 00:57:35 play old video games which I feel like it's kind of the same as the Pokemon one but I guess those are fan those are new fan games and not those are new whatever prank delivery service just order myself stuff on DoorDash drippy rips
Starting point is 00:57:48 fake news leaving you with the total of 15 plus one bounty point. Yeah, you got the bounty for changing your shirt, giving you 16. Mark, you earn points for your gamer hands, your tube meat medical treatment, GoPro being dead to you,
Starting point is 00:58:05 but only kind of dead, grinding fnaf like a true gamer, being receptive to my e-sports knowledge and coaching. You recommended that I do day trading or knitting. You insulted me, which did lose you a point for calling me a boring piece of shit. Worth it.
Starting point is 00:58:21 You said that I should try gooning, uh, T-I-83 plus. You should, I should be a one-man band. You said I should make bread, kind of. You said I should make a door-dash middleman business,
Starting point is 00:58:33 uh, doomsday device, internal live stream, and become a Reddit bot. You got 15 points minus one for boring piece of shit, leaving you a total of 14 points to Wade's 16 points. Man,
Starting point is 00:58:48 if you hadn't insulted him, that, that bounty would have really, just getting me a little edge. It was so worth it, though. I really, I really can't overstate. You had to do it. I know exactly how that feels.
Starting point is 00:58:59 We haven't spun the tie wheel in a while. That's what I'm really aiming for right now. Why would you manifest that for me? My foot hurts, Mark. How could you possibly do this to me? So if he wins, we're making them, we're going to do like one on one-legged hops, right? One, it's not a one-man show.
Starting point is 00:59:14 It's just run a marathon. It could happen. It's a two. It's a two. I had a great callback earlier, remember? Yeah, I had that. Wade had the callback earlier, but that's fine. No, I had a cool callback to like,
Starting point is 00:59:24 it was an old joke, but it checks. No, five, four, three, two, one. Oh, that's true. It's the oldest callback probably ever on the show. I think we already have one that's like, was in the hospital or was injured or something. I think we do, you know. I most recently adopted hobby.
Starting point is 00:59:42 So whoever has most recently begun a hobby, like I would say right now, Pokemon for me is probably the most recent thing. that we're sort of talking. I mean, you got me into it, Wade, but I'm, I'm newer than you. You've done it most recently. So something like that. Two spins, 118 options on the wheel. What could go wrong? Come on. Not. Ooh, best looking. I'm a little ratty if I'm going to be honest. I kind of need to shave. It's definitely Mark today. Sorry. All right. Cool. Good. He has a certain glow about him.
Starting point is 01:00:14 I've been swimming in the pool a lot with the GoPro, so I've been getting a nice bit of sun. I've not been able to be active for a few and I need to shave. I don't know. I wouldn't have accepted even if I do deserve it. Look, you might deserve it, but that doesn't mean that you actually get it. All right. One more point. Come on.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Come on. Yeah, I agree. Come on. Come on. I'm so close to winning. Kissed judges ass the most. Oh. Oh, come on, man.
Starting point is 01:00:43 Mark did have a documented lost point. Man. Oh, come on. Yeah. Oh, why? I like how we were one away from the host wins, too. I knew it was going to cost me. God damn, if I hadn't done that.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Well, and Mark just handed it away. Couldn't just let the opportunity to hurl out some out-of-pocket insults. I now have the knitting community hating me. I have been guilty of so many times, and I totally get it. But that does mean that officially, because he did a bounty, shocking the entire universe, Wade is the winner. Mark, please give us a loser's speech. This loser speech is brought to you by GoPro. Code Markle Blonde. Code distractible. Sure, distractible. Yeah, you can get your GoPro tempers on off with distractible. B-I-S-T-R-A-T, I-B-L-E. I feel like this was not fate. This
Starting point is 01:01:42 was my own actions. I've never been more certain in a in a deterministic universe. No, wait, the opposite. In a undeterministic universe, where we're We make our own choices and our destiny is made by our own actions and everything is an echo from our thoughts to our physical form and extending out in ripples of waves of energy to everyone else that's around us. I feel one with the universe. I am so connected and I am hated. I know that even though I'm as connected as I've ever been to the universe, it is against
Starting point is 01:02:08 me and it does not want me to succeed. But it's all my own fault because I am the universe and we are all. We are all me. we are all we are all me and it's terrible ah well thank you Mark Wade winner speech
Starting point is 01:02:27 this might be the first time I've won back to back's not the right word because you know I didn't win my own episode but like without giving myself a win back to back in a long time it feels good it feels good to succeed I put in a little bit of effort and the universe smiled upon me
Starting point is 01:02:42 Mark put in the opposite today and you know was well look I think he tried pretty hard. He just tried to do the wrong things. Uh, he insulted a lot of people and, you know, that the universe did not give him as big of a smile as it gave me. You know, it's nice to do good, try, even just a little bit. There's just a little bit of effort, just a little effort. And it won't change me and I'll be right back to my old ways soon. But for today, man, it felt nice. And I should put an effort more often. I won't, but man, I should. And we'll hold you to that. Thank you, Wade. Congratulations on winning. I do the, so the episode is over, but I have one more thing
Starting point is 01:03:16 I have to announce and that's what the actual things are that I'm going to do this week. You've been talking about them for a long time and I've sort of been putting them off because I'm like, ah, I don't know if I'd really like that. The breadmakers. Maybe. Wade, I'm going to do the Pokemon fan games. I'm going to try out Emerald Rogue and Pokeyrog and just like dip my toes a little bit and maybe I'll get, maybe I'll have a fresh addiction.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Those two are very different than normal Pokemon. I would say unbound or rejuvenations more like Pokemon games but if you want completely random and different, those are two are... That's the thing I'm kind of interested in. I do like like rogue lights and stuff, so I'm curious. I'm curious about how that will work. And then Mark suggested a bunch of stuff. Oh, good stuff.
Starting point is 01:04:00 What are we hoping for, gooning? So it's only one week. It's only one week. Can I take bake bread and just leave it at that? Or does it have to be the empire of bread? Because if I like it, it could lead to that. But I feel like me successfully making maybe like a couple loaves of bread. Maybe I'll try some stuff would be pretty good for one week's time to give it a try.
Starting point is 01:04:27 And if I like it, I'll build the evil empire. What would your business be called? If you go into the bread business, it would be like, Big Bob's bread baking bonanza. Bob's banging bread. And our branding will look exactly like Dave's Killer Bread. but it'll be legally distinct. Blowing bread bubbles, LLC. It's just like a bread.
Starting point is 01:04:48 They're all hollow bread shells. I mean, bread is just bubbles. So like I see, I see the angle. I understand. Anyway, so this week, I will film myself playing Pokemon fan games, possibly get some more input from you, wait if I try a couple and I'm interested in other stuff.
Starting point is 01:05:05 And baking, I'm going to say, at least two different kinds of bread. I don't have a sourdough starter, and I don't know how difficult it is to just get one of those. But like, I can definitely find a couple different varieties of bread to try. And I will also film that on my... Where the fuck did it go? On my GoPro.
Starting point is 01:05:26 Mission 1 Pro. Wow. Co-distractable. How distractible. D-I-S-T-R-C-T. Wow, it has been a while. Anyway, that's the end of the episode. Check out our merch store, distractible.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Shop. Check out our social media and channels and whatnot. Lord Minion 777 or Minion 777 Markiplier or a mice curve. We're out there on the internet. Make sure you follow the show so that you get notifications because in case you forget, then it'll tell you that you're supposed to watch and or listen to us every time an episode comes out. And Wade will host the next one.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Shocker to us all, I know, but he won, so he gets to do it, regardless of what that means for the rest of us. Thank you for watching. Thank you even more for listening. No, I hate listeners. I messed it all up. That's the end of the episode. See on the next one. Podcast out.
