Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm Daniel Alarcon, and this is my friend. This is much more famous than I am. I wouldn't go that far, but I'm John Green, co-host at the podcast The Away End, with my old friend Daniel. On our podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important. Listen to The Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Kentucky can count on bourbon, basketball, and 975 WAMZ. Kentucky-N-A-N-A-N-N-A-N-N-A-N-N-A-N-N-A-N-N-A-N-KKKKKKKKKKK-N-A-N-R-KKKKKKKKK,
Starting point is 00:00:38 and we never take for granted that you make us part of your day. That's why we make it a point to play your favorite country-museum. Whether you're starting your day off with the Bobby Bone show, making your workday go a little faster by hanging out with me on the job, or dealing with that Gene Snyder traffic on the ride home with Corey Calhoun, you can count on us for the best country music in Kentucky. In Louisville, you can catch us on the radio dial at 97-5, and anywhere on the Iheart radio app.
Starting point is 00:01:02 This is to all the haters out there that said that Blake's now could not get past the fifth inning. This is to all the people that said that they wasted their money and that he wasn't worth it. And welcome to a brand new live edition of Dodgers territory presented by Fox One. This is, if you're a Brewer's fan, it's a heartbreaker. If you're a Dodgers fan, it was a nail biter. But that is it. It is a win. It will take game one on the road.
Starting point is 00:01:41 I'm Alana Rizzo. That is Clint Fesias. Thank you guys so much for being with this. We appreciate it very much. Greatest five stars. Like, subscribe to Dodgers Territory, the podcast on YouTube, anywhere that you get your pods. Wow. Take a breath, my friend, because you and I were watching this ninth inning, and I didn't
Starting point is 00:01:58 think you were going to make it. I didn't think you were going to make it. It was not fun. It was close. They got the job done. It was not fun. Mr. Music says, can my heart stop pounding at this point? Well, you want your heart to pound a little bit that does say you're alive.
Starting point is 00:02:12 This is a game that will definitely. test the strength and conditioning of your heart. But the important thing is that's a Dodger dub. Dodgers take a win it to one final. Dodgers take a one-nothing series advantage in the National League Championship series. I told people earlier today that if the Dodgers win today was a must-win game, the Dodgers win. And what is this?
Starting point is 00:02:36 Is this the Blake Snell game? Is this the WTF was that game? Is this the Dodgers are inevitable? Listen, I'm not going to let that. We're going to talk about that play, right? The grand slam that ended up being a double play. We're going to talk about that in a hot second. But this, to me, is the Blake's now game.
Starting point is 00:02:56 This is to all the haters out there that said that Blake's now could not get past the fifth inning. This is to all the people that said that what a waste of money that the Dodgers made in terms of signing this guy, the first big free agent off of the board in terms of the pitching market and saying they wasted their money because he hasn't played he hasn't pitched very much this is for all of those folks that said that both of the siang awards in each league were BS and that he wasn't worth it so thank you blake snail for pitching an absolute gem of a game a hundred and three pitches 69 of which for for strikes a hundred and three very low stress pitches could he have gone back out there in the ninth yeah and we'll talk about that too
Starting point is 00:03:43 But my goodness, that was a great Blake Snell performance. You get game one statement game. You get game one on the road. Even bigger statement. Yeah, Snell was phenomenal. You said all the adjectives there. I got this one as well. Looking at some stats, opt to stats pointing out.
Starting point is 00:04:02 Blake Snow is the first MLB pitcher to face the minimum through eight innings of a postseason game since Don Larson all the way back in 1956 in that perfect game. The only perfect game in World Series or in postseason history. That's for a World Series history, rather. That's pretty impressive. This was the Blake Snell game, and it should have remained the Blake Snell game. That insurance run, it proved to be very important, but it also was the thing that took Blake out of this game. And then Rokey just kind of didn't have it in this one. And then, you know, apparently Blake Trinan's real good on a high wire.
Starting point is 00:04:41 You know, maybe he has a future there in like the Olympics or, you know, a circus or something like that does escape damage. It was the Blake bookend game. It was Blake Snell, Rokey Saki fell apart there a little bit. And then it was Blake Trinan. So it was the Blake bookend game Rokin Tisaki didn't have it tonight. I don't know if it was because it was on the road. I don't know if it was because the pressure got to him. Sometimes he just don't have it.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Again, Blake could have gone back out there. But then, like, let's just say Dave sends him back out there, right? and he goes back out there for the ninth inning and then he gives up the lead then gives up the game. You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't. Yeah, I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:19 if you're, if you don't, I feel better knowing that at least it was Blake Snell's game. Listen, ultimately he gets the win. It would have been nice to have a CGSO on the ledger there, but the Dodger still win the baseball game.
Starting point is 00:05:32 That's the most important part. And, you know, maybe not stressing him for another 10 to 15 pitches that would have maybe got him somewhere, you know, upwards of 120 pitches thrown for the day. Looking at the grand scheme of things, it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:05:48 As a baseball fan, I want to see Blake Snell go back out there. I want to see him finish what he started because he earned that opportunity. I'm pretty sure he was involved in the decision making as well. But again, it's hard to complain about this because the Dodgers won. So I will stop being an ass and I will step back from complaining. about this, even though I know people in the chat. Your opinion is not singular. There's a lot of people that say that Dave should have put, you know, Blake back out in the
Starting point is 00:06:18 ninth inning. But what was Robert's thinking? You have a guy who pitched a gym? He did. He absolutely pitched a gem. But you know what? Maybe it could be the Blake's snow game. Maybe this is the Uribe game.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Because if Uribe wasn't such trash on the mound tonight in this situation, and I say that respectfully, we wouldn't have gotten that massive insurance run that. Again, we could have used a couple more runs because that was way. too close for comfort they had bases loaded and then blake trinen ends up fanning him and you get out of the game and you get out of the inning and the whole the whole momentum shift now is the daughters like again if you go on the road and you split on the road you feel pretty good about that going home we have an opportunity to go back to los angeles up to and oh just like they did before so um um i'm yeah i mean it worked out so i'm okay with it i i i'll say uh uh i i'll say uh uh i uh i
Starting point is 00:07:09 I will be the devil's advocate to help the Dave haters in the chat here. Obviously, I love Dave Roberts. He managed a winning ball game today. I think he overmanaged himself a little bit today, deciding with that Blake's now won. Yeah, that's kind of 50-50. Like you said, it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. But maybe a little early going for pulling the Justin Dean lever and then ultimately, toa Oscar Hernandez's spot comes up in that inning where Abner Uribe is deciding to, hey, everybody
Starting point is 00:07:44 gets some walks and some runs here. They only get one. They could have got more and then our stress levels would have been a little bit better. But ultimately, he has to pinch hit Alex Call for Justin Dean because Justin Dean is not a major league hitter. And that was Tay Oscar's spot. And, you know, again, ultimately didn't completely bite you in the ass. It wasn't an outfield, a misplay or something that.
Starting point is 00:08:07 that cost the team the game, the Dodgers won the game. You know what, though? What could have been perceived as an outfield misplay was when one of our outfielers on offense didn't decide to tag up and run. Are we talking about that now? Are we doing a break or what are we doing? You know what, let's do a break
Starting point is 00:08:25 because we do need to talk about the WTF was that inning. But first, we're going to tell you guys about Draft Kings. We are. Here we are. Football is back. We appreciate you guys listening and watching right now.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Let's talk about that fourth inning because that was like. Presented by Fox One, Dodgers Territory. By Fox One. I appreciate you, Fox One. Yes, that's very important. Let's talk about that fourth inning. Everybody was like what just happened. I mean, even the announcers were a little bit perplexed about what went on.
Starting point is 00:09:56 They ended up explaining it well and all the camera angles and everything helped in replay. We have the benefit of replay. But it went from what we perceived to be a grand slam by Max Muncie. to getting an 8-6-2 double play out of the inning. And I think the thing that bothers most of us the most, Clint, is that the second that the runners on second and third noticed the contact with the outfielder, with Sal Freelick, I believe it was.
Starting point is 00:10:22 As soon as they realized that he made contact on the ball, they should have tagged up and run. I mean, even if it was just to sack fly, like that would have scored Teo. Teo needed to run on that play. And I don't know what happened there. I don't know if it was just a brain fart. I don't know what Dino Ebel was telling them, what he was not telling them.
Starting point is 00:10:42 But Teo needed to, as soon as they realized that Freelick caught the ball off of the wall and made contact, you tag up and you score. At the very least, Teo should have scored. I don't know. As soon as the catch was made. I don't know how you end up with two more umpires out in the field during the postseason. And nobody knew what the hell to do. during that play. Teoska Hernandez obviously
Starting point is 00:11:08 got a lot of shit for that one. Yeah, he should have been tagging. His foot should have never left the base because he was going to score either way. If it was a base hit, if it was a grand slam, or if ultimately it turned into a sack fly. So there was problem number one there.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Yeah, where was Dino in that situation? I had tweeted this, and obviously, it being a sackfly at worst, that kind of changes because where was Dino during the madness? Will Smith told Tommy Edmund to go back to first base, and that's where everything kind of got thrown off. So ultimately, those two dudes would have been, you know, I don't know if you call it doubled up, or they would have been, you know, picked off at least at their respective bases, third and second, and that would have been the inning, and Tayasca run, his run doesn't count.
Starting point is 00:11:53 It was a moment of the Dodgers being caught with their pants around the ankles, and there was nothing you can do about it. There was absolutely nothing they could have done about it. what was great. We'll dive into that more. What made that moment not hurt was Blake Snell going right back out there and just saying, one, two, three, fuck you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Yeah. I mean. Sure. Sure. Respectfully. Enough. Enough said. But yeah,
Starting point is 00:12:18 what's your, what's your view there of that? I don't know. I don't think honestly anybody knew what the heck was going on. I mean, there's the grown men playing baseball that seemed confused. I was a little bit confused on the play. I mean,
Starting point is 00:12:30 he should have, he should have scored no matter what. He should have tagged up and scored regardless of whether it was caught, not caught, any of it. Teo should have scored no matter what, okay? You know, it just, it was a weird play. They always say, you know, you go to a baseball game and there's always going to be something you've never seen before. I've never seen a ball go off the wall, get caught, and then a guy gets the force at home and the force at third. Like, I've just never, I've never seen that before.
Starting point is 00:12:59 So, again, bad base running. not good direction. I don't know. Again, at the minimum, Teo should have scored. Yeah, I mean, there is a chance, too, because I've seen a lot of people on the internet machine saying what I said there about they would have,
Starting point is 00:13:15 Will Smith would have been out at third and then Tommy would have been out at second. But if they're throwing home and Teo beats that throw, then there's not an out at the plate. And then maybe they only end up getting one out. Then that run does score. It was weird. It was really weird.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Yeah, the left field umpire, you know, he called safe right away. Who looks at the left field umpire? Nobody knew what to do. I'd be very interested. I'm going to be very interested in hearing, you know, Dave's angle, his view of it, but also Will Smith. I think there is something to be, something to be said about Will Smith, causing a good amount of confusion there in that scenario, in that situation. You know, thankfully, the Dodgers were able to ride the momentum.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Once again, you know, of Blake Snell. player the game in this one. You know. Toll, told, it's hard for me to say. Toll troll is saying that Dino was yelling at them, telling them where to run.
Starting point is 00:14:13 I need to go back and like, watch the replay and see where he's signaling what. I mean, it's in real time and give kudos to the umpires and everybody that ended up figuring it out in real time as well as the guys that had to watch the replay and figure it out. So yeah, told troll is saying that watched, you know, is literally yelling and saying, you know, signing them to run.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Maybe it was, I don't know, but that was just such a weird play. But you're like, those types of things, though, that's the type of stuff that if it happens in May and Cincinnati, you're like, you know, whatever. But if it happens in the postseason, like, what if we lost the game because of that? And then ultimately lose the series because of that. You know, that type of stuff creeps up and haunt you. It's like the fifth inning in the World Series last year. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:14:52 I was literally going to say, it made me feel, think back, harken back to the Yankees all the way back in 2024 in that World Series. But again, the game was not lost in that moment. Blake Snell came out, shut the door on them. And then the Dodgers, I think, what, they get the bases loaded again. Pat Murphy decides to walk Shohei to load the bases to get to Mookie. And then it's a double play. Mookie hits into a double play.
Starting point is 00:15:16 And at that point, I was just like, all right, maybe this is just not our day. Maybe. And then, you know, still, Snell shoves after that. And Freddie gets his moment and hits a homer. And it's like, maybe the Dodgers. already evident. I think Freddie thought he got two home runs. Did you see him on the, yeah, the second app, not the second at bat, but the one that was it a double? I think it was a double. So it was interesting, it was interesting that Shohei got intentionally walked twice because I had a
Starting point is 00:15:44 conversation today on fair territory with our special guest, Jesse Rogers, because Ken Rosenthal obviously is on assignment with the ALCS stuff going on, just about the lack of offense or lack of perceived offense from Shohei Otani and should we be concerned in those types of things. And he said obviously he felt like this is the series that show hey is going to uh kind of wake up again offensively and it's funny though that obviously he's still a threat right if you're going to intentionally lock the guy twice and he had a very bad very bad and i put that in quotation marks for show hey very bad offensive series in the ds it just shows you how much they still respect his bat and what he can do francisco d is with the 499 super chat we appreciate you very much who
Starting point is 00:16:25 else's heart is still racing what a masterpiece by snell on the game two Let's get ready. Let's go Dodgers. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yeah. It was a fun game. I wish I didn't.
Starting point is 00:16:37 This is another one of those ones where I wish I didn't have a rooting interest in it because it seemed like a very fun baseball game to watch if your team is not playing. It had a little bit of everything up to it some, you know, up to it, including ninth inning drama. This is the type of stuff that that baseball really needs. And I think people will enjoy it. I mean, it's great. It's fun if it goes in your favor. Like I'm sure, I'm sure if we had the, you know, Bernie Brewer podcast on, on Fair Territory or Fowel territory that they're, they're, you know, the Brewer's podcast or Brewer's territory that they would think very differently.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Like their conversation right now is very different than our conversation. Oh, yeah. Very good team. What do you, let me ask you this too. What do you think about this whole like, oh, woe was us. We're the average Joe's. The Dodgers could name eight people on our team. Like, I'm not, I'm not fine.
Starting point is 00:17:28 And I love Pat Murphy. I'm great baseball dude. And I like the Brewers. I lived in Wisconsin for three years. I covered the Brewers for three years. I like that team. I have a lot of respect for the organization. But I'm not buying into this whole like,
Starting point is 00:17:41 do do do do do or just the woes me. Oh, golly. We're just so happy to be here. You have the best record in the freaking league. Stop. Yeah. I do love that Doc kind of shut that narrative down in his pregame presser. They did have the best record in the National League.
Starting point is 00:17:58 there's something to be said about that. But in all fairness, it is a group of just kind of respectfully nobody's. And sometimes that plays up. You know, sometimes that does work. And sometimes you put that sort of chip on your shoulder. It can help this team, you know, survive and thrive and maybe even, you know, play well, which would be thriving in the postseason. So I don't know how much longer they can try to run with that.
Starting point is 00:18:25 But I did have that conversation yesterday at my all Dodgers. channel. I was like, I even pleaded to Brewers fans. Like, look, I am not trying to sit here and disrespect to you guys, but I don't pay attention to anything Milwaukee in my day-to-day life because, you know, I have better things to do. I have to say, like I said, I lived there for three years. I lived in Madison, but I've been Milwaukee a number of times. Of course, just living in Wisconsin, but also covering the National League as long as I have. And Milwaukee is a sneaky fun town. That third word, that'll get you. Have a good time. I don't know. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:18:59 I haven't been there, and I wasn't going to watch. I learned anything about the brewers. I know they have names. I know they have, you know, decent, good players, living players, as I love to say here on the internet. But the Dodgers have a lot more, you know, black and italics on the back of their baseball cards. Holy shit. That's not where I thought you were going with that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:20 So I was like, oh, God. We'll walk away. We'll walk away from that one. Stop the juice. Stop the juice. Yeah, I don't know. I still maintain the Dodgers go back to the World Series. I do.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I really feel that way. One nothing advantage. I just think that they're the better overall team. You know, kind of there's that whole thing about just they've been there so many times. They don't have any unrealistic expectations because they've been there, done that type of situation. I think that absolutely, and obviously the staff and the roster and everything. bodes well for them. Yeah, a bunch of dudes
Starting point is 00:20:01 been there, done that sort of thing. Brewer's a very good ball club, but most of their guys haven't been there and done that. Yeah, Christian Yelich has played a lot of, or a fair amount of postseason games, but you know, he's also on the wrong side of his mid-30s now. He's not the same baseball
Starting point is 00:20:17 player. Wow, you're about to be 40 on Friday, so I don't want to hear it. And I'm not out there trying to carry a team to a national league pennant. everybody Clint's 40th is Friday sending something nice or give them a secret check we will be live by the way we will be live here on Friday after the Dodge
Starting point is 00:20:36 oh wait yeah I'm going to be at the game I think we'll figure that one out if we are going to the game if I am going to be properly outfitted for it because I guess I technically can't wear this hat anyways the point is I want to talk about this hat you got a hat as well guys want to tell you about lids lids always the go-to for all things MLB hats, as you can see.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Alana's got a pretty, pretty sweet hat there. It's got Dodgers on the front. Of course, I got a standard players hat. I don't wear my hat forward. You know this. It looks weird. Play ya. But anyways, they got your hats, your jerseys, your apparel.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Lids can now be your go-to for all things. Tops trading cards as well, which is pretty cool, including Bowman Chrome available now. But again, the most important thing is they got hats. You got lids at lids. and that is a very important thing. But Bowman Chrome, if we're talking about the cards, is the chase for the hottest prospects first cards, including autograph cards, unique inserts,
Starting point is 00:21:36 the latest crop of young rising stars, whether you've been collecting for years or just getting started, you could head to your local lid store and start ripping them packs. And most importantly, check that out on the script. Yep. Tell them. Text territory.
Starting point is 00:21:51 That's T-E-R-I-T-O-R-Y to 2-9-0-1-7 to receive 20% off. your next purchase of any headwear or apparel at any U.S. Lids store. Some exclusions do apply, but I love it. Oh, even the pups are going to get some stuff from Lids. We appreciate it. All right, Yamamoto, I feel good about that. I feel really good about Yamago and game two. I can't see my eyes.
Starting point is 00:22:15 I feel good about Yamma going in game two. That's got to make, I would think, most people feel pretty good about things. I just love our pitching staff right now. And I just feel like, again, had this conversation earlier today, Jesse unfair that this is the situation that we're in and it's a good one because all season long Clint you and I were talking about like or everybody I mean think about the embarrassment of riches it was coming into the season with the starting arms that we had but nobody was together at the same time yama I mean he he shoved right but he and he posted for the most part um I don't think
Starting point is 00:22:48 yama ever went on the IL right so but everybody else yeah so everybody else was on the injured list and we didn't have glass now and together for quite some time. So we're lucky that at the right time a year, we have an opportunity in the postseason now to go up to nothing against a very good Milwaukee team. And I like Yama on the road. He seems to pitch really well on the road. Yeah, he's been lights out everywhere, very good on the road.
Starting point is 00:23:16 I think he's technically better at Dodger Stadium, but still posted a 249 ERA over the course of the season. Of course, the brew crew sending out their ace, Freddie Peralta, was. It was weird to see them go with the opener today. It was a little. Yeah. Like it's game one. I understand they had to, you know, play five game series against the Cubs there.
Starting point is 00:23:37 But Freddie Peralta, also a very, very good pitcher. He's given the Dodgers fits in the past. Should be a really good game, too, you know. I would love breaking news. And I'm going out on a limb here. I would love to leave Milwaukee. Love to see this team leave Milwaukee with a 2-0 series advantage. Sure, sure, sure.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Would you, okay, so Blake Snell, it's going to be very difficult to repeat that performance. The only way you can do at Clint Paseous is to do a complete game shutout or even just a complete game. Doesn't even have to be a shut up tomorrow Yamamoto. Is that realistic? No. No, absolutely not. It would be nice for Yama to finally get that no hitter that we were robbed of earlier on the season, but more so he just needs to rebound from his previous outing, wasn't great in his previous outing.
Starting point is 00:24:25 I don't think he even got through four innings. I forget exactly what he did. But okay, nowhere near good, definitely not great. So Yamamoto needs to write the ship here, and it would be a nice time for him to do it against this lineup. Again, no disrespect to the brewers, but these are dudes that somebody like Yamamoto, same way we saw Snell tonight,
Starting point is 00:24:48 should be able to carve them up, should be able to. another thing that I'm appreciative of is that Blake Snell had eight really good innings. Roki didn't have his command tonight, but that's okay. The usage was not ridiculous. And Trinan, not ridiculous either in terms of amount of pitches thrown. We didn't talk about Casparius on and rushing off of the roster. Any thoughts there? I understand it.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You have an extra arm. You don't need to carry three. three catchers, but just didn't know if you had any additional thoughts on it. Not so much. I mean, that's the call I was expecting them to run with. It was either going to be, there's either going to be Casperius or Will Klein. And I think you just haven't seen as much Will Klein as where Benny Caps was somebody who pitched for this team last year in the postseason and the World Series.
Starting point is 00:25:45 And I think if you're, you know, you're just adding him to be essentially the 13th arm on the pitching staff, it's a good addition. Hopefully he doesn't prove to be, you know, the series should not hinge on the addition of Ben Casparius, but his role will be much more important than Dalton rushing on the bench as the third catcher. For sure.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Does the real Shohei Otani show up? You know, we were told, we were told, I was told, I told people that him against the Brewers, he's not going to face these lefties with the sidearm, No more Christopher Sanchez, no more Ranger Suarez or Jesus Lizard. I was hoping we'd see something out of show. Jesus Lizard.
Starting point is 00:26:27 It's Jesus Lizardo. But my goodness. He's still Jesus Lizard. You have problems. But what is it? Another Ofer today, O for three. He's two for 25. He was intentionally walks a couple times too.
Starting point is 00:26:42 So like that's out of his hand, man. I mean, that helps. I would, right now I would rather face show Hey, Otani. also no, he can run into one. At any point, he's going to, you know, announce his present in this series. Chances are it's going to be tomorrow. So hopefully I could look stupid because I love looking stupid. But yeah, two, four, 25 since that two homer game to open the postseason. So show's got to get it going. Freddy woke up. Freddie woke up. That's huge for this team to see Freddie Freeman walking, waking up. Just got to get another guy going. Andy Pawhed as well. I'm seeing,
Starting point is 00:27:19 I saw some people in the chat talking about Andy Pahas hitting like 039. That's a problem. Oh, super chat. $5 from Gabriel Kwezna. Kwezna Kueina. How do you say that, Gabriel? And that's all she wrote, game over, Dodgers win, baby, six down, seven to go. I know, seven wins.
Starting point is 00:27:36 That's insane. Oh, his avatar was a dog. A doggo. Let me ask you a question really quick in terms of, we always want to, you know, everyone wants to pile on Dave, and I get it. But a question could be raised. If we're going to get mad at Dave for taking Snell out and bringing Roki in, should we give Dave credit for realizing Roki was in massive trouble early,
Starting point is 00:27:58 getting him out and blinging, blinging, and bringing Trinan in and bling, bling. He's got that bling going. Yeah, I mean, I think there's a decent amount of credit to be had there. You know, don't just ride it out with Roki if he didn't have it straight up. You have no time. It's not the regular season. You got there's a quick hook here right quick quick quick uh most of the moves most of the moves they did were okay i i think maybe again i think it went to he went to d uh justin dean a little too early
Starting point is 00:28:31 and i just personally would have loved to have seen blake snout go out there for that ninth inning but then you know maybe it would have been like that yamamoto game where he was going for the no hitter and you know things just very quickly unravel um dodgers win that's that's all we need That's all we needed. Couple more. Seven more wins. I know. Seven more wins.
Starting point is 00:28:54 It's a beautiful thing. Lots of stakes. Jacob Bronson. Stakes. RBS. Oh, is he in the chat? It's going on.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Jacob. Yes, sir. He, uh, it's a steak game. Is this the kid that's making all the damn stakes before the game? And every time, every time he eats a damn steak.
Starting point is 00:29:13 First of all I'm worried about your cholesterol, bra. Every time this kid eats a steak. the Dodgers win. Is this him? It is him. However, it's not every time he eats a steak. He has to make a fresh steak that day
Starting point is 00:29:27 because he did try to cheat the system and pre-make a steak the night before. And that is the one game, the Dodgers of losses postseason. You can't mess with superstitions. I can appreciate you, Jacob. Welcome to the chat. But be careful in terms of the tons of red meat.
Starting point is 00:29:44 It depends on what he's putting on it. And I want to know what red wine. you're pairing with the stakes, Jacob. That's important. Are you even old enough to drink? I actually am not 100% certain he's old enough to drink. All right. If he's not, don't do it.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Sometimes we have to do things that's not good for our bodies for our team to win. Like I am having way too many. It's either a prime or a monster every day. I'm starting to feel the handshake a little bit. So the Dodgers is like, we just sweep because your boy's heart, I'm 40 this week. Keep me alive, boys. Yeah. You got to go for sweeps here.
Starting point is 00:30:17 You got to go for sweeps. All right. I don't want you to, no, that's not good. Stop drinking that. Mix in some water. Well, if not, then I'm going to be a zombie here. And I got a lot of things I got to do. There's a lot of shiny bells and whistles.
Starting point is 00:30:29 But Dodgers win. Dodgers win. Thank you guys for being with us. You can catch Clint and Jeff Snyder on all Dodgers with Clint Paseas. That's coming up soon. And then Clint and I are back tomorrow. Game two of this NLCS. Hopefully we're talking about a 2-0 series advantage
Starting point is 00:30:46 before going back to Dodgers Stadium. But I appreciate you guys. We'll see you tomorrow. Don't forget our store is open. Dodgers Territory Shop.com. You can scan that QR code or you can just go to the website, the old-fashioned way before QR codes existed
Starting point is 00:31:00 before Clint turns 40. Dodgers Territory Shop.com. We will see you tomorrow. Dodgers win. Go, Dodgers. We'll see you. Bye. I'm Daniel Alarcon.
